Starting point is 00:00:31 It's been so much serious news. I have to talk about the silliest news story of the day that I just think it just makes me laugh. Because over in the UK, they have this age verification system, which is set up. And if you want to get on social media, you have to be able to prove that you are a certain age in order to get onto the social media networks and doing things like that. And then they're fighting out that about a third. of the kids have gotten really creative and they are faking out the artificial intelligence, the system which is used to verify their identity and their age, right?
Starting point is 00:01:09 And how they're doing it is that if you have to be so old, they'll do things like they'll pull out like a fake mustache and they'll put the mustache on their face and then the system will let them on. It just cracks me up. Fake mustache and they start doing this one and they'll, do makeup pencils and do fake facial hair. This is reported on Zero Hedge the other day. Just cracked me up. It's got to love it because they're all doubling down on plans to restrict or ban social media access for people under the age of 16. That's what they're doing in there.
Starting point is 00:01:45 Now, one of the issues, though, that I think is on the downside of this. And so they're able to fake out the AI, right? They'll fake out the AI and they'll do this. And you have to wonder if what they're going to be doing is pushing more of the digital ID, doing the digital ID instead. All right. In other words, strengthen artificial intelligence, just make us all just part of the singularity. So we experience this. Speaking of which, there was an artificial intelligence speech given over the weekend.
Starting point is 00:02:17 And I was reading an ex post from Dr. Louisa Jarowski. And what she writes here, I'm going to play the clip from this, but to understand how the public attitude towards artificial intelligence has changed, watch this one-minute video of a commencement speech in Florida. This is Gloria Calfield, who is a real estate executive, and she was talking about artificial intelligence and telling this to the college students. And this is what they had to say. This is what Gloria said. Now, that said, we are living in a time of profound change. That's an understatement, right? Profound change.
Starting point is 00:03:04 Change is exciting, very exciting, and let's face it, change can be daunting. The rise of artificial intelligence is the next industrial revolution. Oh, they're booing her. I struck a chord. Finish. Only a few years ago, AI was not a factor in our lives. College grad's applauding that. Okay.
Starting point is 00:04:02 We've got a bipolar topic here, I see. Okay. And now, AI capabilities are in the palm. of our hands and passion let's go okay yeah she's a little nervous there near the end of it she's giving this a commencement speech at um at the university of central florida's College of Arts in Humanities fascinating so she starts talking about oh this is wonderful this is the new industrial revolution and the kids the graduate kids are booing her and loudly.
Starting point is 00:04:51 What do you think about that? I noticed that there was some polling taken and that Republicans seem to be more in favor of artificial intelligence than Democrats are right now. But that could be just a political situation because the president, the Republican Party, have been pushing so much of it lately
Starting point is 00:05:11 as far as the buildout of data centers and various things. It's not a huge difference between Republicans and Democrats. It's a few percentage points from some of the polling, which has been done recently on this one. But I have been concerned about the rise of artificial intelligence. I see it as a very powerful tool. But when you have Elon Musk himself even saying,
Starting point is 00:05:35 oh, yeah, we're going to have to do universal basic income and not just a little bit. This can't be just a little bit of basic income. The artificial intelligence is going to take over so much of stuff and do so many things that essentially most of humanity is just not going to have to do a whole lot. I mean, maybe we could all become plumbers or landscape developers or whatever, but I guess that's assuming that the robots don't get, you know, strong enough at some point. But nobody has been asked about this one.
Starting point is 00:06:04 And what do you think about young college graduates just booing artificial intelligence? Huh? I guess they're looking at this. And the part that I think is important to realize is that right now artificial intelligence is only chewing at the bottom edge of the white collar work world. But you agree with me on that so much? It's kind of chewing on that and munching away at some of the entry-level jobs. But, of course, those college graduates were looking for that.
Starting point is 00:06:33 And now it's going to get better, apparently, better and better and better. And people at the top are saying, oh, man, this is going to be such a wealth generator and all the rest of it. And then you have the kids getting out of college going, what about me? you know, what about me? And, well, should it be for humans and humans only? What are we going to build our society for? Are we going to build the society for the bots? Are we going to build society for humans?
Starting point is 00:07:00 Those are the kind of questions we're going through right now. Axios is also reporting that if AI were a candidate for a political office, it would be losing in a landslide. They're reporting that AI backlash is growing as people worry it will steal their jobs, jack up electricity rates, and further enrich the wealthy. all while hurting the environment. It's becoming a liability for the industry. Well, I'm glad at least someone's paying attention to
Starting point is 00:07:23 that it's just not all happy, happy joy, joy with that. Now, back to the college kids. And like I said, I want to go back just hear that, hear that again when she says it. We are living in a time of profound change. That's an understatement, right? Profound change. Change is exciting.
Starting point is 00:07:48 Yeah. Very exciting. And let's face it, change can be daunting. The rise of artificial intelligence is the next industrial revolution. Yeah, okay. Yeah, okay. So, I don't know. It's really interesting because I think that, you know, me being a member of the
Starting point is 00:08:21 older generation. And I think older generation in general, you'll tend to look at, uh, oh, you kids, you kids, you don't know anything, what you're doing. You know, I walked up and down, you know, five miles through the snow to go to, go to government school back of the day. You know, we know that sort of thing. And, oh, the kids are dumb. Right. It's just kind of the, uh, the way things go. It's been that way intergenerational forever, whatever, amen, okay, you know, that kind of thing. Uh, but what I would find really ironic is if essentially, if there really is that battle, the war against the machines, the war against the artificial intelligence takeover of everything in which the artificial
Starting point is 00:09:03 intelligence becomes the controlling factor rather than humans being in control. Could you see this younger generation that's already kind of thinking, no, we're not real happy with this right now? And they grew up with the internet, the entire aspect of their life. They never knew a time in which they didn't have a cell phone probably in their hands. or a screen in front of them. And they're saying, no, we're not going there. Maybe they're the future revolutionaries in this battle,
Starting point is 00:09:35 the battle between big tech and humanity. Any thoughts on that? I am just fascinated by, you know, to hear that, to hear that kind of crowd yelling back at it. Understanding, okay, what is really in our interest or is everything in Navidia's interest? All the tech bros that were up on stage and were on the way over to China with President Trump last week.
Starting point is 00:10:06 Hmm. What do you think? 770 KM.D. I'd love to talk with you about that. Good morning. Hi, KMEDE. Who's this? Hey, Bill. It's Steve and Medford. Steve, love to get your take on that.
Starting point is 00:10:16 What do you think about that commencement group? Boy, just booing the artificial intelligence talk. Well, they don't see the value in it. and quite honestly, I have a hard time myself. In the river of time we live in, there are lots of undercurrents. Would you say that's a fair statement? I think that's fair. Sure. Okay, so one thing that's happening to China is they're being forced in a lot of different directions. Trump has cut down the cheap oil that they're getting. Trump is working on. Trump is working on. on cutting down the imports we're getting from China by the tariffs and other things that are happening.
Starting point is 00:11:01 So at some point, he's forcing some kind of a confrontation with China and possibly India, too, because the same thing is happening there. And AI will, in the best situation, help us because it will cut down on our need for the cheap goods that we're getting from those countries. You think that's ultimately what's how that's – well, I guess how would that be, so we get cheap goods here because we have artificial intelligence involved, but doesn't that essentially mean, though, that it's all going to be automated again once again? And there's, you know, very little for the next generation to do. Well, in some ways, but a son who works for Siemens, and he does rocket science stuff, he's on the cutting edge of everything that's going on. He recently was dealing with a problem from one of Siemens customers that ended up being in their setup for the software that they were doing. They had placed a comma in place of a semicolon in the setup, and that destroyed the whole operation. They've been working on a problem.
Starting point is 00:12:20 Yeah, yeah. And so did AI end up finding that mistake then? No, my son did. Oh. Oh, the sun did? Oh, okay. Well, I'm glad to hear that. Okay. Yeah. So, so anyway, it is a very complex situation, and what Trump is doing is changing the dynamics of finances over the whole world. I have no idea what this is going to be. In fact, I'm kind of glad I'm old.
Starting point is 00:12:47 Yeah, but who is the wealth flowing to, though? Because if all, if all we're doing is just creating the AI, a techno feudalism, is that really progress? Is that truly progress? I don't have an answer for that, but what's happening is all the money is going towards AI. Mm-hmm. Yeah. Thank you. Steve, I appreciate your call. Always thoughtful.
Starting point is 00:13:07 I always appreciate thoughtful calls, but yeah. Hi, K. Amy D. Good morning. This is Bill. What's Bill? What I'm Bill? What's his?
Starting point is 00:13:13 Bob, Hi. The college she spoke to was of the arts and humanities. So this would be speaking to future actors or writers or, you know, producers or philosophers or something like that. That's right. And I think that's where it, you know, struck a chord with them. Well, think about that, though.
Starting point is 00:13:32 Think about why, because essentially what the AI world has been doing is feeding all the books into it, all the movies into it, all of the music into it. Yeah. That means I'd like to see an AI Rocky 9 then. Okay. But, so, you know, there's going to be. a need and a desire and a want for human created things not artificially generated and it'll probably be a niche thing in the future rather than the mainstream thing isn't that isn't that a hell of a note though to say that
Starting point is 00:14:14 the future that anything created by humans would then be a niche market doesn't that concern you at all yeah it does definitely I mean you know you have live stage live performances things like that, you know, will always remain there. I can't see robots. Oh, so real humans then will be, so real humans will be living in some, some version of Jamestown-Villy. Do you remember where you're, you know, in Jamestown, in which they have everybody, you know, churning the butter and, you know, doing all that kind of stuff. Right.
Starting point is 00:14:46 Yeah. Hey, thanks for the call. KMED, good morning. Hi, who's this? Welcome. Hello? Hi, who's this? Good morning, Bill.
Starting point is 00:14:55 It's Francine. Hi, Francine. go ahead. Yeah, I think that, you know, all these young people, and I don't blame them at all, I think they're feeling really threatened because they're trying to make something of themselves, as we've all been taught from, most of us have been taught when we're youngsters, you know, you got to get out there and do something with your life, you know, blah, blah, blah, you know. And so here, here they're suddenly, they're right on the brink of fulfilling their dreams, and it's all of a sudden being threatened by a takeover by something that's not even human, you know,
Starting point is 00:15:32 and it will make them so that, you know, they have no purpose. I don't blame them for booing. I'm really upset with the AI thing. I mean, I called somebody the other day and got this Google AI kind of answer machine thing, and it says, you know, they're not available right. now. Tell us your name and why and why you would like to speak to and we'll see if this person is available. And I was kind of, I felt awkward and I said, I mentioned kind of briefly in a weird way and then they said, and who may, and who do I have the pleasure of speaking to you? And I was
Starting point is 00:16:11 kind of like, you're not speaking to anybody. You're a machine and I hung up. I couldn't, I couldn't help myself. All right. Well, so you understand the frustration. I appreciate your call. Thank you. Yeah, I wonder about that. Hi, K.M.D., good morning. This is Bill. Good morning, Bill. Time here. Hey, Tom. There's a great article to this issue on Lou Rockwell.com. It's called Digital Enslavement. It's a subtle weapon of social subordination and global control. And it really goes into what's going on here, and the digital prison that I talked about earlier is going on. And it does seem, with this digitalization of everything, they're really going to put us all in the box.
Starting point is 00:17:01 There's another article called Cars are Fast-Becoming Dystopian Prison Pods. Oh, Eric's talked about that for years. Yes, he has. And that article really goes into it, but it's at the point where if you look down a change of radio station something, and your car is yelling at you to get your eyes back on the road and so forth. And just like cars are becoming like little tattletail boxes. But I guess my main concern about digital everything is if they digitalize our money, then they have absolute 100% control over our lives.
Starting point is 00:17:41 All right. Good point. Thanks for making it, Tom. 770KMED. Gosh, an amazing college kids pushing back against our... artificial intelligence, and these are the people that have grown up with nothing but screens most of their life. Hi, K&E. Good morning. Who's this? Hello? Morning, Bill. Hey, it's Scott out in Eagle Point. Scott, what do you think of this morning? Go ahead.
Starting point is 00:18:03 Hey, back in the 80s, we had all this circuit board going on. We had Prigure. We had IMI. We had a lot of that going on. And we were going to be the new Silicon Valley in White City, the gym of the county, of course, and I'm wondering for the county commissioner in 2028. And what fell through? Does anybody remember that? No, I don't. Tell me. I know a little bit about it, but I was young.
Starting point is 00:18:34 I was pretty young. What happened? Or are you asking what happened? They bought IMI. They bought IMI. Okay, what's IMI? I don't know what IMI is off top. my head. Oh, okay. International Memories Incorporated. They made it the IBM, the, the, the hard drive for IBM and also, yeah, I mean.
Starting point is 00:19:02 Oh, if you're talking about IBM, boy, you're going way back then on computer manufacturing. Yeah, a long time in the Rogue Valley. And China came in and bought them. And there's a lot of politics involved. President Reagan came here and spent time with, you know, in the mills. You know, we had spotted owl, which later we turned out the PLM off through a smoking pot that was counting it. And then they were also, as well, they were up in Portland on, they were filming spotted owls on a signal lights. So we need to get back in the forest, and we are a bit. And not just doing salvage logging. We need to manage our forest.
Starting point is 00:19:48 And that industry with right management is going to succeed and thrive again. Well, it would make sense, except that most of that infrastructure is gone, wouldn't you agree? Yeah, absolutely, Bill. We've got to build it back up. Well, how do you get that infrastructure back unless you know that there is a sustainable, permanent source of timber? Because otherwise, there's not going to be any capital coming. You get that, Scott, doesn't you?
Starting point is 00:20:13 Right. When you're in the woods and you see how everything's overgrown and how we needed to actually start with some main arteries, the A and B road. I think Gregory Roberts is a good friend of mine that we do saxquatching with. Mention that, you know, how important it is. And I'm also, I did some transport. Well, no, I don't, you know, I don't want you to get too far afield here on me, Scott. The main issue, though, is that if it can't attract the cats, it won't happen. And I don't know if, do you think that there's enough support from the general populace to even permit this? Come back again. Do you think there's enough support in person, in public opinion, to actually support this? I know that on the right, a lot of people do. Yeah. Sure, in the rural, and the city's not so much. People live, their cityites. Except that the challenge is at the city, I'd control the political process, don't they?
Starting point is 00:21:14 Yeah, that is a big challenge, though. All right. I appreciate the call. Just pointing out the challenges of doing it. It's not, you know, for years I've listened to politicians come on this show and say, hey, we're going to get back in the woods. Okay, yeah, exactly. How are you going to make that work and be specific? Show me your work.

This is News Talk 1063, KMED. This is News Talk 1063, KMED. And you're waking up with the Bill Myers Show. Pebble in your shoe Tuesday. We've been talking about artificial intelligence
Starting point is 00:24:07 and the college kids pushing back against it, and where do you think that's going to be headed? If you're on hold, let's take your calls. 770KMED. Hi, good morning. Who's this? Welcome. This is James and Selma.
Starting point is 00:24:19 James, fire away. Go ahead. Yeah, I've seen a video that was Colonel McGregor, and it was AI, and he's saying that the area there was hit with missiles in the fuel storage area, the, and blew up both aircraft carriers, thought it was real. Because it shows McGregor talking, and I had to go to the comments section to finally see somebody says,
Starting point is 00:24:53 this is AI. It's going to be, AI is going to be propaganda of what's real and what's not. And maybe that's the purpose you're thinking? Is that kind of what you're going? So, and some kind of agreement to movement. Yeah, that was done. I forget if that was an executive order or, but I remember that happened. I recall that. Thank you, James. Hi, KMED, good morning.
Starting point is 00:25:30 Good morning, Bill. It reminds me of how advanced or ahead of the time Star Trek was. I mean, we're talking the mid-1960s. You may recall there was one episode where Captain Kirk is put on trial, and the evidence that was presented against him was video recording of him pushing a button that killed somebody. and it was they find out at the very end that it was the computer that generated the image it wasn't true so that was a pretty clever roddenberry thing but i want to talk about old technology not new technology i was listening to your show a couple of years ago when you and dr powers were signing off on am 1440 for the last time and you gave a history of the a m radio channel there and all that and i was wondered you were talked about how a lot of the technology that you had to work with, and I commend you for your ability to work with it, was from the 1940s. What did you do with all of that old equipment? Did you sell it to a third world nation or a pirate radio? What did you do with it? Well, that 1940s, there was a 1947 Gates BC-10, I think, is what that was. That was the final transmitter because the Solid State One had failed
Starting point is 00:26:50 shortly before the sign-off, and it wasn't worth repairing at that time. So we just took the backup. Most of that ended up going to scrap. I ended up saving a few parts from it that were still of use today, various coils and capacitors and things. The vast majority of it was not particularly useful or valuable in the scrap market, except maybe the four or five tons of iron in the transformers that was connected to it. So most of that ended up going to scrap.
Starting point is 00:27:20 And the, I do have, now you'll laugh about this. If you ask you, I'll send you a picture of it. I still have the AM 1440 oscillator, which is the crystal section with the tubes in the middle of it, that came from that old transmitter. And I have that at home. And I can actually broadcast, albeit weekly, on AM 1440 in the area, if I wish to do so. I save that as kind of a little, you know, a bit of nostalgia. I knew you had an emotional attachment to it.
Starting point is 00:27:50 Thank you so much. All right, glad to let you know. Yeah, I still have that. I had to bring it down sometime. I don't want to tell the FCC too much. You have violated Part 15 or blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. All right. Hi, KAMD.
Starting point is 00:28:03 Good morning. Who's this? Citizen Krebs, Ben. Hi. Hello, Mike. How are you? What's up? Well, you're talking about AI.
Starting point is 00:28:11 Yes. And today's election day, so riddle me this. What do you think about the apathy level of today's voters because AI is making everybody apathetic. Boy, what do I think about it? Well, I can agree. I think that does help. It certainly doesn't help to have everybody think
Starting point is 00:28:34 that absolutely everything you're looking at could potentially be fake. That's a rough one, isn't it? That is very rough. And that's why I think that the idea of AI taking over elections because the people become so apathetic, even more apathetic than they already are, that they just engaging and involving themselves in the process.
Starting point is 00:28:57 Maybe that's the goal. That, I believe, yes, that is the goal. Good point, and thanks for making it. 770 KMED. And talk about AI, the kids in college in Florida, pushing back and booing it all. It's fascinating. Hi, good morning, KMED. Hello?
Starting point is 00:29:15 Hey, Bill, is it me? Yes, it is. Go ahead. Hey, Bill, this is Phil. Yeah, Phil. Hey, I'm going to change the subject, if you don't mind. Okay. The, uh, since this is pebble in your shoe Tuesday,
Starting point is 00:29:30 yeah, go, go ahead. I received a postcard from somebody who was critical of the fact that I fly a flag every day. And, of course, it's anonymous. That person told me that I was abusing the flag, but the only thing worse in this country was Donald Trump's disrespect for the Constitution. Oh, okay. But the person didn't, you know, this type of person doesn't have the guts to confront you.
Starting point is 00:30:00 They want to do it anonymously. You know, and that to me is, well, it's a real pebble for me to think about. I just... Well, I wouldn't sweat the flag thing. And as far as President Trump ignoring the Constitution, he's in good company because, practically every president that I've ever existed violates the Constitution in one form or the other. It seems to come with the territory. How about that? All right? You sweat it. It's the fact that there are people who will voice their opinion like this.
Starting point is 00:30:44 Yeah. Yeah. Well, that's human nature. And back on violating, I'm sure that person was perfectly happy with President Obama droning an American citizen. No trials. No reports. No reporting. courts to file. So, yeah, we all have Gristin-R-Mill, depending on who's in office, okay? KMEDE, good morning. Hi, who's this? Welcome. Hello. Hello, Luccia. Hi, Lucretia. Go ahead. What is Aston doing testing our sewer water for measles virus? Well, the Oregon Health Authority, you know, we have to find out if there's measles in there because reasons. Nobody's got measles, but they're testing it for measles.
Starting point is 00:31:28 Well, somebody had measles around here, apparently, because there are measles. There are measles in the poo water, okay? So stay away from the poo water, okay? Yeah. No, I don't think so. Trying to scare us wearing masks again. Oh, God. Anyway, thank you.

Starting point is 00:33:17 Wait a minute, is this a trick question? Five seconds. New siding from Fontana roofing. Yes. Next question. Most common phrase when Fontana installs new siding and a roof on an existing building. It looks like a new building.
Starting point is 00:33:30 Correct. Also, this building looks fantastic, would have been acceptable. Final question for the last donut in the break room. In addition to a 40-year warranty, along with 14 configurations, including the ever-popular wood grain board and batten style, how many siding color coatings are available in total? 25? Oh, sorry, that is incorrect.
Starting point is 00:33:53 We were looking for 26. We do, however, have a nice piece of advice as a consolation prize. Visit fontanaroofing.com. Correct. And we're going to catch up with with Cherise here in just a moment here on Open for Business. But I want to make sure we get Brad in. Brad, we were talking about AI. You said you have an interesting analysis that this fight back,
Starting point is 00:35:28 this pushback against the AI economy is illustrating the difference. in economies, really. Isn't that right? Yeah, good morning to the award-winning Bill Meyer. Right. So the Oregon and I grew up in, we had a resource-based economy. So to the extent that you exploited the resource, whether it was a crop, whether it was lumber, whether it was fish or whatever, the more you exported the product, the more money
Starting point is 00:35:51 you made. You literally make unlimited money. When you have a service-based economy, the amount of money that you can make, number one, it's limited by what your customer can afford to buy your service, and it's also limited by market forces. So anything, you know, we have kids that are spending, what, $150,000 for a four-year college degree, and they're finding out that they're enrolled in a service-based industry, or the service that they just spent four years of their life learning how to do can be replaced by an algorithm. This is not going to go well for the education industry. I would agree
Starting point is 00:36:27 with you. And I think that also illustrates what's going on at SOU. Their struggles. I appreciate that, Brad. Thank you. Attila, Rob. Hello, Attila. You have a prediction. I want to hear it. Go ahead. Good morning, Bill. To all you patriots out there, stand the line. I'm predicting that by the end of June, we're going to see Brennan and Comey in handcuffs. The squad is going to be tossed out of this country. and we're going to be putting up a wall with some stakes out in front of it for all of these traders. You think so? Yeah, what is it about the end of June that makes you say that? I'm just curious.
Starting point is 00:37:04 What is it specific about the end of June? Because Trump is sitting back on a whole box of goodies, and he's going to unload it. And all of these people, I mean, you look at these Democrats. All they do is that they're against America. And when we've got to sit there and be patient. Yeah, I don't like paying five bucks a gallon for gas, but you know what, for all my brothers that got lost in the Marine barracks, we'll suffer for a little couple more months, whatever. All right.
Starting point is 00:37:33 Well, until Rob, I appreciate your call. Thanks for making it, okay? Thanks so much. Okay, we're going to hold the calls here for just a little bit. Cherise is here on Open for Business, No Wires Now. Charisse, how you doing? You just got back from Vegas. So what did you bring home from Vegas, huh?
Starting point is 00:37:49 Okay, I brought gifts. So all you have to do is come and talk to me. I got some really cool gifts from Vegas. I went to the DirecTV Revolution Conference. Oh, my goodness, you guys, if you have a dish, and you probably do, because you've got it from me, come talk to me. I have something better, way more affordable. My daughter comes out to your house. She does the installation.
Starting point is 00:38:13 And then she helps you return your equipment, lower your internet, gives you the free cell phone service. So, Bill, are you ready to switch? You've got to try it. Okay, so you're asking me to switch because I have this right now. Okay. Right. Okay. Yep, you have dish.
Starting point is 00:38:29 I want to switch you to the new DirecTV stream service. No satellite. Super easy. You can leave the dish on. I would just want you to try it. Chrissy will come out for free. She'll plug it in. Show you how to use your system.
Starting point is 00:38:42 You'll love it. It's amazing. Okay. So this is just streaming, nothing having to be put on your house, nothing like that. Nope. Nope. Super easy. She just comes and install it down.
Starting point is 00:38:53 downloads it for you, shows you how to use the equipment. It's all 4K. You can record 10,000 things at once. You can record 10,000 hours. If you start watching a show and it's already like 10 minutes into it, you can rewind it to the beginning. It does way more things than dish. And I'm not bagging dish. I still love dish, especially for people who don't have internet. So you have to have high-speed internet for this to work. And I do. Okay. Yes. Yes. So you've got to be my guinea pigs. All right, I was your guinea pig before, so I'm going to start oinking again, you know, and we'll do this, all right. So I'll try this out, of course. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:39:32 You know, hopefully Linda won't hit me over the head when I do this one. But, all right. You only have one TV, don't you? You just have one. Yeah, we just have one. That's all we do. Yeah. All right.
Starting point is 00:39:41 So if you had a second one, you could just plug it in and you can keep your dish on. Okay. So, but you're saying here, but if you switch from dish over to this DTV stream, you get a $200 visa card? Isn't that right? Yep. You have to mention your name. Uh-huh. Got it.
Starting point is 00:39:57 That's the key. All right. Mention my name. And you just have to... Did I lose you? Pressure you. You can't hear me? Yeah, no, I lost you there for a couple of seconds.
Starting point is 00:40:08 Okay. Okay. All you have to do is come into the store and talk to me, right? I'll get you switched over. I'll save you probably $200 a month. That's probably the going rate. People are up to like $300, $400, $400 on their bills right now. And so we've just been, you know, Lauren.
Starting point is 00:40:24 people's bills providing a better, better equipment, super easy to plug in. You can take it with you. You can take it in your motor home. If you have a second house, super easy. Yeah, all right. Well, this sounds pretty exciting. I would like to find out more about this. All right. So I'll get in touch with you when I get off the, and I'll be your guinea pig, all right? So I got to wrap it up here. I want to make sure that people, though, you can get this personal service with Cherise here at NoWires. No Wires now is at 1560 Biddle Road Sweet B. Now, there could be restrictions apply. Talk with Cherise and find out all the various rules involved with these switchovers like she's talking about.
Starting point is 00:41:01 You can call or text message her right now. 541-680-5875. 541-680-58-75. Text a copy of your bill, too. All right. Do you pretty much do it okay? Yeah, or just come into my store. Come in today.
Starting point is 00:41:16 My daughter and I are there waiting for you to help you, and we'll save you a ton of money. All right. I'll say about the DTV. I'll be back in touch. All right. All right. Thanks, everybody. All right.
Starting point is 00:41:25 Thanks again. Cherise over at No Wires Now. It is 857 and change you.
