Hey, it's Emily Tisch Sussman, and this season on She Pivots, the podcast where women share bold career moves and personal turning points.
Starting point is 00:00:30 I sit down with culture-shifting women who share their pivots like Elizabeth Smart. I still feel that drive that I can still make a difference, so I'm going to keep going. And feminist legend, Gloria Steinem. All of us were trying to express women's real lives. Listen to She Pivots on the I Heart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. On August 4, 1962, Marilyn Monroe died. Then the rumors started, and she died again. And now, we're going to set the record straight and look.
Starting point is 00:01:00 Learn about the way Marilyn Monroe actually died, the third way. I'm Jake Brennan, and on my podcast, Hollywoodland, I revisit some of the biggest stories from Hollywood history, separating the myths people want to believe from the reality underneath them. Hollywoodland is part of the Exactly Right Network. Listen to new episodes every Monday on the IHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. On Big Lives, we take a single cultural icon.
Starting point is 00:01:28 People like Jane Fonda, George Michael, Little Richard. And we pull apart the story behind the image, discovering forgotten interviews that change exactly how we see these giants of our culture. We're here for the messy, the brilliant, the human version of our heroes. I'm Emmanuel Jochi. I'm Kai Wright. And this is Big Lives. Listen to Big Lives on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcast, or wherever you get your podcasts.
Starting point is 00:01:55 Max said it. Yo, we're going to go pick that the gate. We're going to get two colonnins, helicopter. We're going to have the jet skis on the back. It's going to be a movie. Diddy, we're going to put the long fur on them. We're going to have Jacob put mad watches on his wrists and all that. If they make it the movie, let's keep it real.
Starting point is 00:02:11 We're going to watch. Put eight watches. Jacob going to put a watch. Every jeweler, Aviani, Eric the jeweler, Willie, all of them. Everybody going to put a chain on them. Max B and them is going to be there. Mad. Sons.
Starting point is 00:02:22 Diddy, free, Diddy, family there. It's going to be a movie. It's going to be a movie camera, 18 cameras. I'm going to buy right into that. We're going to click right now. Click, click, click, and watch that. That's how good. We're going to see.
Starting point is 00:02:37 He'll be right there. He didn't get stabbed. Right. Shut the fuck up with him. Okay. Brooms. Role! What's that point?
Starting point is 00:02:42 You get movies with. Oh! Bramble! You know, Brimble! You know, right. I got my video. I would get a little. I would get a little.
Starting point is 00:02:50 That's out. I'll have my question. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:02:58 And this the boy uncle murder, aka A.Lead J. Lenny. And you on a real report show. Make some noise, y'all. Come on, make some noise. And today we got a special guest moderating, because, you know, I heard Joe Button said we need a moderator. For real. Tell them who you is, man.
Starting point is 00:03:15 I keep it real. I'm going to keep it one thousand. Tell them who you are. Yo, it's your boy E. Or you, aka the Harlem Legend, man. Shout out to my guy, Harlem Legend, man. Hallam Legend in the building. Make some noise for Harlem Legend.
Starting point is 00:03:26 What's what? So now you know. You know- If I said we need to moderate them? Yeah, because we're not professional. Oh, I didn't know that. We're not professional. Damn, mine ain't here that, more. You know, we're doing our numbers, but we're not professional.
Starting point is 00:03:36 We know it. And we love it. No what I'm saying? So let's go on to the first story of Harlem Legend. What's going on in the world right now? Man, what's popping y'all, man? You know, right? Like, we cannot, without a shadow of doubt,
Starting point is 00:03:48 give it up, right, for the G-6s, man. Yes, shoot-in-knit-knit. Oh, keep it real. Oh, why nobody's clapping. Clap, motherfuck! Let's go. Yeah, yeah. What's wrong with y'all?
Starting point is 00:03:59 Yes, G6 is going to sell out within hours. It's saying two hours worldwide. Right. I say minutes. You know, man, yeah, yeah. Keep it real, right? I ain't going to hold you. Yeah, yo.
Starting point is 00:04:11 I got to ask you, man. Did you expect the G6 sneaker to sell out this quickly? I mean, I've seen you do a story selling the G6's sold out quicker than Rick Ross album. What? So I was excited about that, but I knew- Damn. I mean, when you look at hip-hop and you look at nostalgic music, Like a 50 cents, a Nause, a Wu-Tang, a Jay-Z, a Biggie.
Starting point is 00:04:33 It's nostalgic music, so I know them sneakers was nostalgic. The video game, like I said before, the video game sold. The G-Unit video game sold millions of copies. The sneakers sold millions of fucking sneakers. And it's the same thing coming again. People, all the G-Unit fans, thank y'all. You know what I'm saying? Because it's nostalgic shit in hip-hop.
Starting point is 00:04:54 Rick Ross was on there trying to dissim-all-b-b-talk-all-all-all-all-all-ish. He said Costco's. Yeah. It's at Costco. And they wind up selling his album. They're outsold his album. Make that crazy. You know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 00:05:04 Worldwide. Yeah, you know, man, men lie, women lie, but numbers don't. You know what I'm saying? Shout the Reebok. The G6 is out there. What do you think about a murder? I think I think it's fire, man. And I wasn't surprised because me Torbitt with 50 seeing how he's selling that
Starting point is 00:05:19 only show. So I'm quite sore for sneakers available. Them sisters going to fly off the shelf. Listen. As far as being surprised, I wasn't surprised. Yeah, 50 cent could sell shit on a stick. We all know that. So, I mean, with the G6 is what making nostalgic to me
Starting point is 00:05:32 is because it brings me back to marketing. When 50 was mad because we didn't have the sneakers on and we lost some money. Rebot, give us this new money because we're marketing great now for you guys. Oh, shit. Love you guys. It shot the complex too. Yeah, yo, did you think, yeah, so you was the first one
Starting point is 00:05:49 to actually leak it, right? Yeah, yeah. Yeah, yeah. So do you think that was genius marketing? I think it was me doing what I do best. I talk. It's the talk of New York. Sometimes I talk too much.
Starting point is 00:06:01 You know, I like to talk. I cut people off. They say all the time. But that time it actually worked. But this time it worked. You know, 50 said I talk too much. And basically the next time we've seen him, he said, the sneaker sold out, though. So these sneakers sold out a while ago.
Starting point is 00:06:16 And I think this is like second and third shipment probably going out. So shout the Reebok. And like I said, it's nostalgic hip-hop shit. You know what I'm saying? People are not even fucking, the sneakers are coming in these dogs. dope time capsules. People are not even wearing the sneakers. They just putting them up.
Starting point is 00:06:31 You know what I'm saying? So that's the best thing about it. It's like, you know, I see Eminem right now, shout to Eminem. He's doing something where he's signing a lot of sneakers and that's on auction. Because people like 50 Cent and Eminem on nostalgic and hip hop as well as GUnit myself and everybody else that was down with the unit. It's nostalgic shit. A lot of you guys think that the fans resonate with GUnit 23 years later.
Starting point is 00:06:55 See, this is 23 years later. sneaker dropping. This is what, 2003? I mean, I think G-U-U-Nit was a brand that had, like, a cult following. Like, people really fucked with us overseas. We still touring. Like, I went on two tours by myself. Bank still tours. Murder's been on tours.
Starting point is 00:07:10 Fucking, you know, 50's been on tours. Like, we're still touring. We're 50 and on our own. So, I just feel like G-U-Nit is one of them groups that's like a, you know, a nostalgic group. Mob Deep is nostalgic. Wu-Tang's nostalgic. And I think 50s said
Starting point is 00:07:26 I had the best the other day when we was on with Ebo. He said like he felt like his fan base at the time he was all his running coming up. He felt like they run the world right now. A lot of people like, you know, shit 20 years ago when these kids was in college and shit like that. Now they own all these businesses. They're running the world. So, shit. Perfect timing.
Starting point is 00:07:47 Perfect, perfect example. Look, perfect example. Harlem Legend murder. Shane Gillis. I'm on tires. I'm going to say it again. I know I say it every episode. I'm on Tires, Netflix.
Starting point is 00:08:00 Shane Gillis is a G-Unit fan. Now, facts, no. Now I'm on the show, so shout to him. That's a fact. The people that's the higher-ups that's in big places with G-Nit fans. And what happens is it goes down to their kids because their kids remember their parents listening to the music. So you see G-Unif fans, I don't see kids eight years old that no 50.
Starting point is 00:08:19 And that's the point that I'm trying to get to as well. It's marketing. You know what I'm saying? Where an eight-year-old kid will know the real rule. or the feed Yale show or whatever I'm doing, you know, acting on, you know. Well, most recently, right, this is even more like getting into it, right? Because y'all was just in L.A. at Joe Dominion. Hey, look, Joe, I ain't going to hold you. Donnell Jones salute. You know what I mean? I'm a fan.
Starting point is 00:08:44 Shut out to both of them, man. Shout out to Joe and Donnell Jones, man. I mean, once we came out, everybody said we were cheating. Even Donnell Jones was like, man, y'all ain't right. You know? To me, to me, just being a fan. and just looking from the outside in, he was already smoking Donnell Joe. That's what I heard. They said he was already losing, man. Yeah, it's just, you know,
Starting point is 00:09:05 it's the thing about Donnell Joe, to me, he can't sing in person. The thing with Joe, like you, the same way he sounds on that record. On live is the same way he sounds on the record. Like, I think that's the main thing that you got to look out with him for. He done plenty of GUNA records.
Starting point is 00:09:21 I got a song on my first album, Curious with Joe. You know that, that was pretty dope. And, you know, he got records with G-Unit, 50, movie soundtracks, you know. So it's like... Classic features. Yeah, classic features. Definitely, man.
Starting point is 00:09:34 Yeah, I think his music is timeless. I think I seen Charlotte, man, say that, that Donnell Jones can't sing in person. I'm being honest. I don't know why everybody's saying that about Donnell Jones, man. So I don't like what people saying about you, man. Because when I met you out there, you seem like a cool brother, man. So I don't like all the backlash about you can sing live and all that. He was backstage, so we didn't get a chance to really see too much of it like that.
Starting point is 00:09:59 Yeah, man. Everybody hate me on the brother, man. Definitely when 50 came out or we came out, they said we killed the game. Yeah, they said it was over. Nobody was expecting to see 50 on versus. Shout to Versus. Shout to the Complex. You know, a lot of people was there.
Starting point is 00:10:11 Swiss Beach, my God Swiss was in the building. Tyrese was there. Yo-yo. You know, Kemp, don't play with my yo-yo. So I'm a fan of nostalgic hip-hop. There was so many people. 702 was there. Shout to them.
Starting point is 00:10:23 Who else was there backstage? There was a lot of people back there. There was so many people back there. there, man. Mona Scott was in the building. Oh, yeah, Mona Scott was back there. Definitely. Okay. Hey, look. I got a chance to watch Ebro and 50 argue, so that was entertaining. Yeah, I was that, man, because I've seen 50 going back and forth. Is that a true statement when he says, 60 plus, you shouldn't be great at anything in rap?
Starting point is 00:10:48 Who said that? 50 said that. 60 years old. I mean, at 60 years old, 60 years old people think you just, at this time, in life, you if you retired at 60. You think murder at 60, you could still be rapping? I don't think you should be rapping that 60, man. But if you're still rapping that 60, just make sure this should sound dope. And I hope you got a fan base that still
Starting point is 00:11:10 want to hear you rapping that 60. But I don't think, have we had a rapper, rapping at 60 right now? I don't think so. I mean, the 50 is the new 60. Like, you're right? Oh, I got you. Okay, I got you.
Starting point is 00:11:21 Got you. You know, I mean, is the younger demographics going to buy it? I don't know. It's in the air because now music is different. We used to have, look, used to have 10 seconds of listening time, right? 10 seconds on a record to get somebody's eye. With these Y-Ns now, it's two seconds. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:11:41 I don't know. I'm going to bet you're different on that because I'm kind of comparing it to the G-6s. These sneakers came out in 2003, man. This kid that's 23 years old today that didn't know anything about the issue, and I guarantee they bought them. It's sold out worldwide, bro. But G-U-N-U-N is something different, though. Okay.
Starting point is 00:11:59 But, you know, he said a niggins said want to be the best at it. Not say you still can't rap. Like, you know, some motherfuckers that our old age still want to be the best or think they the best. I think 50% at that age, you know, you can still rap and do what you want to do. But don't be out here thinking you're the illus doing it when you're motherfucking 50, 60 years old. You know, there's a whole younger generation.
Starting point is 00:12:22 Like, what the fuck is he talking about? You know what I'm saying? Okay. clear it up because not saying you can't be rapping at that age, but don't be thinking of you the illest one doing it at that motherfucker age. That's not the case no more. Of course, because there's a whole new regime. There's a whole new breed in the game. So, I mean, at that age, you would think a nigger's going to retire,
Starting point is 00:12:39 just lay back with his bread or do what he do. That's what I think when you hear that. That's what it says to me, like at 60, you're chilling or into some other shit. Okay. Okay. I got to get your reaction to this, right? So, Kee-Feed D trial was going on. Oh, man. Have you guys been paying attention to the Kee-D trail, right? It's a bit wild, right?
Starting point is 00:13:02 I agree with you. I've seen the mob James testimony. He said he was a hostile witness. No, because a lot of times the Fed subpoena you, and there's really nothing you could do about it if you don't have the lawyer money or go to sit up to do the time. So he said he was a hostile witness,
Starting point is 00:13:16 and he was basically on Keefei D's side. But he had a lot of jokes on there. He's definitely a... He's testifying for the prosecution, right? You know... Yeah, but he also, But he also said to the prosecution, I'm here to help Kee-Feed-D. I watched it.
Starting point is 00:13:30 So he said, let me get this right. I'm here to help Kifi-D. I don't think he helped. Well, he didn't say anything too incriminating against Kifidi if you watched it. You know what I'm saying? Well, let me get your reaction. I just felt like he got subpoenaed by the feds. And sometimes you get subpoenaed by the feds and you might have, you might not have the money to say, get a lawyer to say, yo, I don't want to come or or, or you, you, oh, man, damn it's 70 years old.
Starting point is 00:13:52 Don't want to do that little bit of time for being a consent to court. funny. But I just think when he's saying, man, I don't want to say nothing to incriminate this man. That's like saying he said as much as I don't like him. Yeah, he says as much as I don't like him, I don't want to say nothing that can incriminate him. So that's like Well, you got to watch the clips because when they started getting extra, when the prosecutor started getting extra with questions, he was like, I'm not answering that. All I could tell you is she got crazy. So everything was
Starting point is 00:14:17 vague answers. Yeah. And he said, another thing is, I'm not up here. I'm a hostile witness. That's what Marb James said. Everybody was laughing. Like, they forced me to be up here type shit. I'm here to help this man. Kee Fee D didn't do anything. So it was a funny, and he had man jokes on this thing. I enjoyed it. I got to get your reaction.
Starting point is 00:14:36 But him with illegal aid is crazy. Listen, this was the highlight. This was the super highlight. Who was the highlight? Right? A detective took the stand and said, Did he paid to get Tupac murdered? Although the money never reached Kee Fee D's hands,
Starting point is 00:14:53 the guy that got the money, is supposed to pay Keefee Diaz took an offer of the money whatever is going on with that. Right. But he, I mean, I don't want to let's put indictments on people, right? Right.
Starting point is 00:15:05 We don't want to do that over here, right? Oh, no, no, hell no. But we're not going to do that over here, a private detective, a detective that was on the case at that time. He took the stand and said, he did he paid to actually get Tupac murder. That's allegedly.
Starting point is 00:15:21 You know, you know what? Hey, a detective said it. You know, yeah. I was lied before, though. A detective said. I mean, they lie. You know, but when you in the penitentiary in the feds already, Diddy want to go take a shit hearing that?
Starting point is 00:15:33 You know, that nigger's stomach was rumbling. Like, what? The nigger said my name in this trial. Yes. I'm going to take a shit. I'm like, oh, my God, call the lawyers. Just to hear your name in a case like that, it's crazy. And with this.
Starting point is 00:15:47 Allegedly. This ain't allegedly, though, because Max V recently did an interview, and he said he's picking up Diddy at the gate. He said, yeah, me and French, we're going to pick Diddy up at the gate. I just want to get your reaction to that. You know, is a lot of people going to be switching sides when Diddy touch the out? I mean, I think a lot of people fuck with Diddy. And, you know, that's their business.
Starting point is 00:16:11 You know what I mean? But I think a lot of people going to fuck with Diddy, man. It is what it is. You know? Can he still be great? Can he still make the music that he used to make? As long as he got that money, he's going to be great to a lot of niggas and a lot of people in the game.
Starting point is 00:16:26 To me, he might not get as much advertising at first or whatever, but if he tell a story, maybe people might buy it. I don't know. But I can tell you this. As long as he got money left, the money ain't going. You're going to always have people that want to be your friend. And I know Max was fucking with him and French got a relationship with him. So I understand that.
Starting point is 00:16:43 That's the man. So I ain't going to hate on that. Right, murder? But he got that bread. So, of course, they're going to go pick him up at the gate. He still got bread. If a nigga was broke, niggas going to pick him up at the gate. That's the question.
Starting point is 00:16:57 I don't think everybody gonna feel how Max B feel that's actually cool with Ditty. I think some people ain't gonna be trying to hang with Ditty in the public eye. I think a lot of niggins still is. It is what it is.
Starting point is 00:17:12 I think some people not, though. Honestly, I think some people are going to like, oh, man, I ain't gonna be cool with Ditty in the public eye like that. I just, I think that. I think it's gonna be a little different this time around because everything that's going
Starting point is 00:17:24 Yeah, and I feel like guys like French Martinez has basically not coming out public. See, this is like a glimpse. Yeah, because you never heard. Max B said that, but you ain't heard French. You ain't heard friends ever say that. So your Frenchman standing away from that shit keeping that. He got going on going on. But if Max B is coming off.
Starting point is 00:17:43 He just came out the penitentiary. He's still walking the yard. Let's be serious. Max B still walking a yard. He's on one. He's doing interviews. He got the chains on. Come on.
Starting point is 00:17:54 I did two years and came home crazy like that, feeling good. So he's just out there saying whatever. French, yeah, he publicly never said it, but that's how French feel. We're going to pick him up. He said, we're going to pick him up the gate. Maybe French, maybe French ain't never feel like saying it. Because, you know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 00:18:15 And shout the French in Max. But Max said it. It's cool. He jumped on over as soon as he got up off that interview. Yo, my man, why would you say? Oh, my nigger. My nigga. Take me and that.
Starting point is 00:18:25 I know what the fuck I'm doing when that nigga come home. Nah, I don't think so. That nigga said, we're going to pick him up at the gate. French might have not said nothing about it, but Max is. You be with this nigga every day,
Starting point is 00:18:38 so you know how he's feeling. He wouldn't say that if he didn't feel like that. So that's the big bro. Yeah. Yeah, we're going to go pick that nigga up the gate. We're going to get two cullinons, helicopter. We're going to have the jet skis on the back.
Starting point is 00:18:49 It's going to be a movie. Did he? We're going to put the long fur on them. We're going to have Jacob put mad watches on his wrists and all that. If they make it the movie, let's keep it real. Niggas are going to watch. Put eight watches.
Starting point is 00:19:01 Jacob going to put a watch. Every jeweler, Aviani, Eric the jeweler, Willie, all of niggas. Everybody going to put a chain on them. Max B. in them is going to be there. Mad bitches, signs. Diddy, free ditty. Family there. Niggas is going to be a movie camera, 18 cameras.
Starting point is 00:19:16 Nogues going to buy right into that. Niggis going to click right now. Click, click, click, click, and watch that shit. That shit sound good. We're going to see. Niggas gonna be right there. It sounds good. You didn't welcome home because he still got the bag.
Starting point is 00:19:29 If he had a bag, if the feds with a siege door like bread, niggas, only people would be out there is family. Let's keep it on, though. But he still got the bag. He still got like 800, 500, 500, whatever it is. Billy, whatever it is, he still got the bag. So niggas going to embrace him.

On the new podcast Solita, we share the messy reality of traveling alone as a woman.
Starting point is 00:20:08 I can wait four hours for the next bus or this random dude is offering me a ride on his motorcycle. I chose option B. I'm Julie Pinero, and I travel by myself because it's a rare space where I can say yes without asking anyone else first. I'm on a mission to reclaim the word solita, trading the pity for possibility. Every time I tried to be alone, I kept meeting people, and they were like, you smiled at us. Not a lot of people smile around here. It's when you're alone that you're most receptive to the world as it is, and not the lies you're sold about it. It can be a time where you push your limits, change your mind, or wake up to a new version of yourself.
Starting point is 00:20:49 So whether you're a solo travel veteran or you're too nervous. to book your first trip. I hope you listen to Solita on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Hey, this is Hayes Davenport. And Sean Clements. We host the podcast Hollywood Handbook on the Big Money Players Network. Our show is extremely accessible to first-time listeners.
Starting point is 00:21:11 Each week, we talk to someone in show business, aka The Biz, and try to help them with their careers and see what they have to offer us. Everyone has a good time, and no one gets mad at their publicists for letting them do our show. We've had a lot of great guests like Sarah Sherman, not that great. Actually, can you help me shape this? How about we flip it on his head, right?
Starting point is 00:21:32 How about we flip the script? What is the surprise woman? Actually, you think is the straight man is actually the one who's acting weird. Adam Scott, this entire time, you've been expecting Adam Sandler to come to visit the show. I would never expect. I would never set expectations for something like that to happen. If the universe allows for something like that to happen, I'm open to it. I'm always going to accept.
Starting point is 00:22:02 You know, Danny McBride, fine. Yeah, it's all this fragile masculinity exuding. I could smell it walking down the hallway, to be honest with you. I was like, is that weed? Nope, it's fragile masculinity. Ben Stiller, no. Because a lot of times out of context, people don't get it or even know what a circle is. me mean? Like they're like, oh, what's just a state.
Starting point is 00:22:25 Everyone's so dumb. And fake. Right. Fake and also not interested or just like, oh, I've got my life. I don't care about your life. And a lot of other big shots that wouldn't be where they are without us. Oh, and by the way, Will Ferrell told us personally he loves the show and he wants to be a guest on every episode, but he's just so busy. Listen to Hollywood Handbook on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
Starting point is 00:22:51 Our town is small taters. by most standards, right? But to the people who grew up here, it's everything. What happens when a quiet Tennessee town becomes the front line in a battle over the future of America? Developers with right-wing ties have purchased hundreds of acres of land in the area. The first thing you see when it pops up is pioneers in Appalachia. But they weren't just planning houses. We need cities on a shining hill that exemplify and embody the Christian way of life. Stop right there. Is that normal?
Starting point is 00:23:22 A podcast about what happens when a small town becomes the site of a social experiment. God need men to rule. Great. And decides to fight back. Do not use my hard work to sell your bull. They're not just opposing what's being planned for here. Our hometown is not a test tube. They feel like they're standing in opposition to an entire administration. Guess you didn't move in on a bunch of dumb hillbillies now, did you?
Starting point is 00:23:48 Listen to our town on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. First of all, I want to say, rest in peace to T. Dow Wool, rest in peace to pop smoke, right? So, Favio Forin, the Brooklyn native, has went gospel. Yes, shout to Fabio Forin.
Starting point is 00:24:11 I love the record. The music is dope. Yeah, I love the record. You put me on to the record. I love the record. I didn't get the here with that. I'm not going to lie. I didn't hear it.
Starting point is 00:24:21 It's kind of dope, bro. He got some. I like the record. He got a choir. It's a dope video. It's visuals. Anybody giving up to God. You see what I say on my hat.
Starting point is 00:24:31 Child of God. Right? I believe. Man, God is good all the time. So God is good and he's going in another direction. Right? I'm surprised. I didn't know this.
Starting point is 00:24:40 Okay. Yeah. He's going in another direction. We recently seen him get baptized. No what I'm saying? Yes. He just got baptized. Shout to Fabio Foreign.
Starting point is 00:24:49 I'm happy for him. But what was you saying? You were saying. So I think there's a problem. here, right? So tell me the problem. That's what we was talking about. Yeah, let's get back to me. Fabio Forne, right? He's gone gospel, right? But I
Starting point is 00:25:01 just feel like, so a lot of critics are saying now, right, since he's went gospel, it's been GDK. I mean, they've lost all these guys, all these so-called soldiers. Rest and peace, yes. Street violence. We don't, we ain't with none of that, right? But we understand it.
Starting point is 00:25:17 But we understand it. Coming from what we come from. And a lot of guys have lost their lives throughout this, right? And we commend what Fabio's doing. But it's been GDK for so long, him turning to God, does it change his ops? That's a
Starting point is 00:25:33 Brooklyn murder question. Well, that's a Brooklyn murder question. Definitely want to go to to Brooklyn, would it? I'm going to go to Brooklyn. I mean, I'll tell you one thing, right? Because he found God. Don't mean other niggas found God. Yeah, don't mean
Starting point is 00:25:49 that his ops might not still be on deep time. I agree with it. I agree with you. I'm not going to lie to you. Being that he found God, that don't mean that his ops found God or they're going to feel any different about him. So I feel like you still got to be on point for shit like that. Now, this is the question I got for y'all to. Can he come back and make drill music after he does the gospel record? No.
Starting point is 00:26:08 I like the record. No. So he can never shoot him up bang, bang no more after this record. No, that's done. That's done. And music is already suffering. So no. You heard no.
Starting point is 00:26:18 No. Stay gospel. I didn't hear the records yet. I didn't hear the records yet. I didn't hear the records yet. What do you mean? You drill rap is not suffering all the way because we might not listen to listen.
Starting point is 00:26:28 We not might not listen to it, but I know the younger kids are still listening to it. Like I told you, I heard some shit called Breaking Bones the other day. And it was straight drill. Shoot them off, break his bones.
Starting point is 00:26:40 Some crazy record. I don't know the artists, but it's a dope record. But there's still a lane for that. We just might not know all a drill rappers out there. You agree? Oh, there's a lane. He's still listening to drill.
Starting point is 00:26:51 We might not listen to drill as much like that. Okay, let me tell you, I'm just put that out there. He's young, he's impressionable, he's going to look at the time. I got to go here this, this five-year-old gospel record, man. Yeah, when you're young like that, you're going to watch that. I think it's garbage music. But I don't think he's going to go back to making drill music if he's already, if he doesn't decide to change his life,
Starting point is 00:27:12 I don't think he's going to go back to making drill music like y'all say. If he doesn't change his life, man. You got to stay the course, and I think the music is actually dope that he's making. The record is dope because he's telling him. on his life in the music. So I think whenever you tell your life what's going on, you mentally shout to Fabio. I know a lot's been going on, locked up,
Starting point is 00:27:32 all kinds of shit, rehab, or whatever, so-and-so shit. Yeah, he's sober now, too. Right. Yeah, he's sober now, man that find God, yeah, you're happy for him. But like you said, can you go back to the drill music? No. No, it's over, man.
Starting point is 00:27:48 Or do you think that's what the young people want to hear right now? You think they want to hear Fabio make gospel? music? No. Of course not. Yeah, I think 18 and under, like him shaking his head up back there. Oh, you said no, the people don't want to hear that shit? He's 18 years old. For me, I think it was a dope record. It had a lot of substance. I think it was something different for him. But your ops don't change. You're still a target. You said, Gene- But do you think that's the problem? But do you think that's the problem that people don't want
Starting point is 00:28:18 to hear that type of music? Like, that's the problem right there, man? Like, is that a problem? No, because you have a choice. You have a choice to listen to what you're free for. Is it America, brother? I agree. And I just think music is suffering as a whole. It is a whole. It's suffering everywhere.
Starting point is 00:28:34 R&B is no longer. I'm surprised because I ain't hear about this. Nobody's supporting it, I feel like, because I didn't hear nothing about it. I didn't hear the record or nothing. They're not playing it on the radio because I must have not hear it. I don't know. I ain't see these sites posting it up. You got to go on YouTube.
Starting point is 00:28:48 I caught it on. It was a real dope record. Joint. When you listen to it, I think you're going to like it because it's not like just a regular, like, church record. It's a record, like, soul for we got a choir. It feels almost like how, like, Dirk had the kid singing on his record. Okay. With Jay Cole.
Starting point is 00:29:05 Okay. Which he won a Grammy for. It felt like one of them kind of records. Dope choir in the back. Video was crazy. And he's more talking about his life and what he went through and how he found God. Will the ops understand it? Hell no.
Starting point is 00:29:18 The ops, they're not trying to hear that shit. They own demon time. So I understand what you're saying. But can he go back to that kind of music? Or will people accept that kind of music from him? It's just crazy how I don't really hear about it. I know if it was some type of, if it was a different record, you're here by it. You know, the ignorant record, the turn-up record, something for the streets.
Starting point is 00:29:36 You're here by it. But this record, I guess I didn't hear about this. We all know negative news spreads faster. Yeah, that's what it's looking like. That's definitely what's looking like. That's just how life it is. That's how it is. But, you know, we're doing something different.
Starting point is 00:29:47 What else? We got some stuff. He's on. God bless that brother. So, QCP, Pierre Thomas, the legendary label owner, right? Atlanta, y'all know what it is, man. He had a recent heart attack. Right.
Starting point is 00:30:01 Give me your thoughts on that because, you know, reports came out right away. Right. That he was paranoid. Yeah, yeah, that was definitely negative. The family put a statement out there. Shout to QCP, get better. Pray for him. Legend in the game, you know, broke the Migos, broke, you know, rich the kids.
Starting point is 00:30:20 broke the city girls Who else? Who else are missing here? Little Yadi, little Yaddy. Little Yaddy, little baby. You know, so, you know, pray for QC to get better, man, whatever it is, man.
Starting point is 00:30:33 You know, I fuck with QC. I remember one time we was in a casino and he was betting mad money. He was like, yo, yeah, yo, murder. I just lost a million dollars. And I was just bugging because it was like 12 o'clock in the day, right? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:30:47 It was like 12 in the afternoon. So that was like my illus QC story right there, man. Shout to him, pray for him to get better. You ever met P.N. Thomas? Yeah, I met P. I just told you the story. We just was in a casino. Yeah, but I met him before that, though.
Starting point is 00:31:02 I met him and coach. They had an artist named Young Greatness, rest of peace of Young Greatness. So we had Dillon's from way back then, but I met him before, yeah. Yeah, I remember the artist Young Greatness. Yeah, yeah, rest of a young greatness, man. He was dope, man.
Starting point is 00:31:18 He was from New Orleans. We had the record called real niggas back. It was real dope. We was going back and forth about the record for a little while. Me and Hamer, then we had figured it all out with Pee and Coach at the time. So that was dope. Shout to Coach K. Last time I was seen that, we was in Paris at one of them crazy hotels.
Starting point is 00:31:36 It was one of them real boozy joints. You know what I'm saying? In Paris, shout to Coach K, man. And QC get better, man. Get better. Okay, so Dr. Dre. Shout to Dr. Dre. Shout to Dr. Shail to Dr.
Starting point is 00:31:48 Shout up to Matt. Shut up to Dr. man. Yeah. He's recently come out and defend AI and music. Oh, okay. Okay. He says this is the new wave and he feels like a lot of people need to get with it.
Starting point is 00:32:00 How do y'all feel about AI music? Well, one thing I learned from Dr. Dre and Jimmy Iveen, they see the future. So if Dr. Dre is saying AI is the shit, this is the future. I believe in Dr. Dre because they always see the future. You know what I mean? Shout to Dr. Dre and Jimmy Yivine. That's one thing I learned being a real thing I learned being. around them two for the time I've been around is they know what's next.
Starting point is 00:32:24 They're getting a lot of backlash right now online. I know you're going to get a lot of backlash. Temple of them is getting a lot of backlash from it too. Yes, he was. He was. He was. But when you think Dr. Jay say something like only the people that's not creative is scared of AI.
Starting point is 00:32:41 And I kind of agree with that a little bit. But also it's how you use AI. Like the kid who, what's his name? The kid we was just talking about. Phoenix. Phoenix. Yeah. So his song is very viral.
Starting point is 00:32:54 Yes, right? Now, my watch is feeling tick up. The way he used it. The way, the way, I think the way he did it was wrong, meaning it probably made him a lot of money. The record is doing good as popping. But trying to deny that you was using it, it was like that was whack. And then to come find out the CEO of the company go, no, yes, our company has something to do with that whole record. You know what I mean?
Starting point is 00:33:18 So I think that's whack. But if you're letting people know you using AI, and I feel like it's how you use AI. You know what I'm saying? Like, don't let AI create the whole record for you or then act like you was the one that did it. So I don't know. I mean, I think it's right.
Starting point is 00:33:33 I agree with you. But it's replacing human creativity, though. I feel like, I feel like this. The reason why he probably lied about it because the song, the song was fired, niggins. So he was like, you know, that's AI. No.
Starting point is 00:33:45 Shit, it's me. That's all me. Really think about it. You got a fire song now. You know it's AI, right? That's what he did, Ye? Now, look, that's like we put out a high song, and I'd be like, I'll be like, yo, you might be like, yo, I ain't going to lie.
Starting point is 00:34:00 This shit is Grammy hit. That's AI. And I'd be like, man, that shit was all me. A nigga ain't going to be like it's AI in the beginning, but now they got the technology to know if it's AI. Don't listen to him, kids. You see what happened to that kid Phoenix, right? You don't think it should be a lion crossed.
Starting point is 00:34:16 I mean, look, niggas were still bumping the song. No. I would agree with that because that shit is still getting played on the radio today. Yes. It's still bumping the song.
Starting point is 00:34:27 So he's right about that. He's right about that. If he could perform it. Dr. Dre AI. Yeah. Fuck it. Think about it. It might be something new.
Starting point is 00:34:35 Like you said, niggas got, people got mad after they heard the record was AI. Because it was a stacking cards and stacking chips. That shit was just perfect. Well, look it up.
Starting point is 00:34:45 You got somebody an artist that just did a deal, right? Uh, uh, uh, she's a writer. I think if she did a deal, I think she did like a three or four million dollar deal for AI artists.
Starting point is 00:34:55 And I think she made a whole female AI artist. And one of these labels actually signed them for about three, four million dollars. And I think the girl is a songwriter and she's actually doing pretty good with the whole AI shit. You see that over there, legend what I'm talking about? This was you, this, you're not looking at up?
Starting point is 00:35:13 You see that? Monet. What's the name? Zana Monet. Zana Monet, right? And she did a deal for, about four million, I think, a label. A $3 million deal.
Starting point is 00:35:22 A $3 million deal for work. And she created like a whole AI artist. I think she writes the songs and she got the AI artist singing the songs and shit like that, right? Now, something like that is kind of dope. I feel like that's kind of dope. If you actually, you write in the records
Starting point is 00:35:39 and say you might not have an artist that you could find to work with. And you're like, you know what? I got all these dope songs that I wrote. I can't get these records. to the labels and nobody like that. You know, well, let me create an AI artist to get my music out there.
Starting point is 00:35:55 And if you do something like that, I think that's dope. And that's what the girl did, I think, over there, right? That got the female Nile Del. Yeah, she did. She was created by a 31-year-old Mississippi native,
Starting point is 00:36:04 poet and designer and a studio owner, Talisha Jones. I mean, that's something like that. Fire, dope. That's how you use AI because you still creating, you're just getting the AI to actually sing it for you
Starting point is 00:36:17 and bring it to life. Now, that's dope. Don't have AI create something for you and act like you did it. But what about the artists that actually work hard at in the studio? You're putting in hardcore work coming up with your own lives.
Starting point is 00:36:31 Unless you're using chat GPT but you don't like... Listen, listen, this is what I want to say to you. You're coming up with your own concept, your own thing. This is what I want to say to you. And then somebody can just get a phone and say, I'm hotter than you. I got a point, bro.
Starting point is 00:36:42 No, it's not like that, but go ahead. I got one point, right? Like, when you watch the news, right, and you hear America, and China are arguing over AI, right? Who's going to have the most AI? Because it's the technology that they all search for AI, right? When you hear Elon must say, oh, we're going to get a chip,
Starting point is 00:37:04 he's going to do a microchip company to have the AI and the chips. This is called Chip 12. This could do this for this car. I think not even over just the music. Dudes are making robots. Like, you look on line, you see robot warm. You see everything we see in Terminator, too. You kind of see it now, bro.
Starting point is 00:37:25 So I think all around, like in the next four to five years, 10 years, I think AI, that's what I think when Dr. Dre means that. Because AI is not just in music, AI is in all kinds of other stuff too. You know what I'm saying? So I think that that's going to be when he says the future, I don't think he's just talking about just music only. You got AI girls on Instagram. You got AI people that are promoting products and stuff like that.
Starting point is 00:37:56 When you call these phone companies now, banks, you're talking to AI people on the phone, right? You know what I'm saying? It seems like it's the next thing, bro. Now with the music, I understand what he's saying. He was feeling so good about the record stacking cards and I wrote that. No, you can't do that. No, that's not cool a way you. No, I agree with you.
Starting point is 00:38:16 You can't do that. But murder, you know how he's feeling? You wrote that whole shit. So they found the company that could find. He rode that way till they found the company like, oh, all right, cool. Because that could, that's how he's going to generate millions. So that's why I would think he lied, right? If he could write another one of those, oh, shit, let's sign them to this multimillion-dollar deal.
Starting point is 00:38:36 Once they hear his hair his AI, I might have fucked this deal. Now, see, I hear what you saying, legend? You're saying, what about the artists that work hard? That's a student that's going on there for hours. What's going on with that? It doesn't matter anymore. No, no, no. No, it still matters because don't nothing.
Starting point is 00:38:49 change. You still got to do that, though. You still got to do that. If you're creative, right, if you as an artist as a creative artist, you're not going stop doing that just because Dr. Dre said, yo, AI is the future. Nah, you're going to listen to what Dr. Dre said.
Starting point is 00:39:06 Now, one artist might go, damn, that's what Dr. said. All right, fuck it. Let me see how I can add some AI into my shit and make it doper, right? Or you might have another artist that go, Dr. And Drey said what? AI? No, I'm good on that, man.
Starting point is 00:39:22 I'm going to continue doing it the way I'm doing it. I don't need that. I'm good on that. And neither of them is wrong. You might have one artist. You know what? Let me entertain AI. Now, depending on how he use it,
Starting point is 00:39:33 don't be having AI write a bunch of shit for you acting like you did it or have AI making the beats and this, that and starting to third and acting like is your work. But depending on how you use it, I think it's okay. What? Are we saying no AI is the future and it is proven? You know what I'm going to tell you? It's definitely the future. It's proven.
Starting point is 00:39:50 It's definitely the future. And it's awful proven. I got a video coming out right now that's with me and Chef G. Free Chef G. Free Chef G. And it's Air. The record is produced by Great John. I love that video.
Starting point is 00:40:02 Exactly because, unfortunately, Chef G is not here for us to actually do the video. But the AI video came out so fucking dope that you can't knock it. And some people are looking and go, oh, shit, that's really Chef G. You know what I'm saying? So it got some parts of it that's super dope. AI is dope. You can't take it away. It is the future, man.
Starting point is 00:40:20 It is the future. Do you realize, like, when some people mix, and you will probably notice, people, there's AI programs, am I right? When you're doing, like, when a person's mixing your record. Oh, you better believe it. There's AI programs now for producers and engineers. And it's making it way much smoother for them.
Starting point is 00:40:38 And there's nothing wrong with that. And who knows, that's probably what Dr. Dre meant, too. Like, sometimes you can just use AI to make a certain sound sound better on the beat, certain things like that like, yo, make this or make it hit a certain way, and it might just actually work. And mix out your vocals with AI too. That's a fact. So it don't mean that you AI created the shit for you.
Starting point is 00:41:00 Nah, I just use AI to enhance the sound to make this shit sound a hundred times better than it was. That's all. So I get it. Okay. Shout out to Dr. Yeah, but AI is the future, man. Come on.
Starting point is 00:41:10 In the next 10 years, what do you think the future is going to look like? It's going to be crazy. But I did see Doge Cat shitting on Tiger for, Oh, yeah, that was fun. For saying, he got the whole AI album. She called him a poll. Yeah, she's definitely called him a pause. She called him a pause.
Starting point is 00:41:24 That's the way. He's trying to follow the way. Yeah, she should have on it. I mean, don't you go. You know what it is? Because you know what? I think some people look at the artist like, yo, he can't make no hits no more.
Starting point is 00:41:34 That's AI. Yeah. You know what I'm saying? And AI I told you, I walked in a barbershop one day, and they thought, like, niggas had like a record or something. And they was like, and they thought it, and I was like, that's not me.
Starting point is 00:41:46 And they swore was like me on there. And I'm like, nah, that's not me. If you look at Tiger, though, he's always followed the way, though. Like everything that's new coming out, he's always trying to do. Oh, definitely. Tiger got hits, but what I'm saying is he got hit records. I just thought it was funny how Doja Cat just shit it on them out of nowhere. And nobody even asked her the question.
Starting point is 00:42:03 So she just came out and nobody like, hold up, time out. Oh, yeah. And Tigers are pause for doing that. I was like, yo, she crazy. I mean, because you know what? Because some people are going to look at the greats. They're going to look at the Marvin Gays, the. Anita Baker's, the Nina Simone's like these.
Starting point is 00:42:20 And go, they would never do that. Exactly. The Michael Jackson's. That wasn't AI. Facts. So you gotta think, because when we look at the history of music, I just named, come on, Aretha Franklin, Anita Baker, Roberta Flack. But Tyke was spawning, he says, just like when certain people started using
Starting point is 00:42:37 auto tunes and shit like that, he was like, and then I think he said something about her making a demonic album. So he was like, hold up, now, you was on your demonic shit. He said that. He said that. I'm not with that. So, yeah, he was going back and forth for it a little bit. But yeah, AI's here to stay.
Starting point is 00:42:53 I mean, you can't compare, you can't compare AI to AutoTune because Autotune is just altering your voice. AI is like, they write. Yeah, yeah, you know, you write about that. That's two different things. You write about that definitely is. That's why I think with the artistry, people is not gonna like that.
Starting point is 00:43:05 People have wrote hit records and, you know, you know, Doja got fucking hits. You know, that she wrote on her own. That's why I said it's all about how you use AI. Don't make it create the whole shit. If you're using it to make it certain sounds, sound better, and things like that, or if an artist feel like,
Starting point is 00:43:24 damn, I can't get nobody to sing my record. Like, hey, I'm a writer. I'm not a singer. I can't get nobody to sing my record. But I could create an artist and make AI sing this record for me to get my music heard. I think that's super dope.
Starting point is 00:43:40 And you can't knock that for them. That's cool. Just like the girl that got the $3 million deal that I was telling you about, the judges read up, you can't knock something like that because she's showing you hey, I can write. I'm right, I can write my ass or. Let me find, let me make an AI artist for $3 million.
Starting point is 00:43:53 There you go. So shit. Fuck that. Can knock that. So I get it. It comes to a point, though, too, where it's so crazy in the game that, like, I had a person, right, that I knew personally had some records that was fired, right? So he went to a label.
Starting point is 00:44:08 The guy from the label, the head dude was loving the record. You know what I'm saying? Loving the record. Loving the record. Loving the record. this nigga never would show the artists. Like the artist would never show up. So the first thing nigga says is,
Starting point is 00:44:20 what the fuck was the music AI? So it's like, you don't even know it's a trust no more. That's the fucked up part of AI. That is. Like I said, what that mean? He playing me these records. I'm bringing his records to this label.
Starting point is 00:44:31 I'm playing them for him. And then I'm like, yo, so where's the artist? When the artist's gonna show? Yo, he just kept making excuses, excuses, excuses. And then after well, the CEO is like, The record is AI. Gotta be AI. God never pulls up.
Starting point is 00:44:47 Or like they'd be like, where's his Instagram or where's his Facebook or where's his ex, his Twitter? And if you don't have that, you drop the record, niggas ain't going to believe you. That's what the thing about the AI shit that fucks you up. I remember being overseas and the motherfucker had an AI record, but we knew it wasn't 50 because it just sounded crazy. It was like, yeah, for a hot minute for like the first two seconds, hold up. The nigga was in the car. I'm like, yo, yeah, you heard this fifth shit before?
Starting point is 00:45:12 Yo, never. Like, nah, this shit, man. I said that of the first two seconds. Yeah, they said, man, that's A-I, man. Like, nigga, Homeboy, this is a fake record. It didn't come to a point even when shit you, this is why Instagram take, um, AI taking over. Even when you're on a gram and like, say you see some shit like a beer,
Starting point is 00:45:27 attack somebody. You don't know if it's real or AI. You know what I'm saying? Motherfucking do a jump. Motherfucker jump up. The biggest ramp in the world, if it ain't Red Bull, we know Red Bull, we know it's real. But if it's not on, do some other shit, we don't know. Yo, that's AI.
Starting point is 00:45:44 Yeah, AI the future. That shit is the future. It's taking over now already. I think it took over. So I know what Dre has seen. Music and TV. As far as mixing and doing other shit like that, cool. The creator part of records, I know what murder is saying, though.
Starting point is 00:45:57 People that really write and really pen, they look at that as he's cheating. That's how Doja look at Tiger. Niggas cheating. That's how she looked at him, bro. He's cheating. Yeah, she wasn't feeling Tiger. She was not feeling Tiger. Salute, man, to that situation.
Starting point is 00:46:12 Imagine murder going to chat GTP. You write me to wrap up right now. Oh, my God. I think it would take it. I think it would take the feeling out of what he does, though. No, it won't. It only enhance it. Yeah, I'm just being real.
Starting point is 00:46:29 It only enhanced it. Chat GPD. Write your own wrap up and have Chad GTP write the other one. Chad GPT wouldn't be as disrespectful. I'm a chat GPT artist. Yes, it would. No, it wouldn't be a disrespectful. No, but I got to get into this one with y'all, right?
Starting point is 00:46:44 So, Jivante Davis has took a lot of backlash this week, right? Jivante Davis mocks. Shout to Javante Davis. Yeah. No, that's my God. I'm about Javon Taney's mother. He mocked the rumor about Devin Haney's mother. No, you're saying Devin Haney says something about Javon.
Starting point is 00:47:03 No, Javante Davis mocks a rumor about Devin Haney's mother. So they both been going back and forth for each other's family, right? But recently, as of what just happened, it was an unverified rumor that Devin Haney mother, April Clay, had died. Damn. So Javante Davis. Sorry to hear that. We don't want to hear that about nobody.
Starting point is 00:47:26 We don't want to hear that, man. Sorry to hear that. You think Davis crossed the line. Is that a line crosser? Whether Devin Haney said something about his moms or something like that? They've just been going on each other's families. David Haney says something about his moms and Javonte is going to do
Starting point is 00:47:42 what any nigga from Baltimore going to do shout to Bimor and shout to David Haney and Javante. But he going to do what any real nigger going to do. You know, niggas, even though I wouldn't disrespect the dead, some niggas will. So, you know what I'm saying? But I think it's crazy when he talks about mothers and all that. But Haney did say something about his mom.
Starting point is 00:48:00 I don't really like that right now. This is a very serious question, and our fight is more focused right now. I think they did just need to fight. And doing all that online, because that's been a lot going on with these boxes going back and forth. I mean, that's the marketing for the fight. At this point, they need to settle it in the ring. And that's what give them the fire for the fight.
Starting point is 00:48:20 So, I mean, the back and forth is. Let's go. Let's get the fight going on. You know, who should talk to to make the fight happen? Does it make it more interesting? That's the next one definitely do. I mean, of course. If they're taking it to that level of disrespect?
Starting point is 00:48:33 We all know. Everybody wants to see Javante fight. Back in the rest. David Haney, Shakur, and probably what I see them be? Because Javante beat everybody. But I think, you know, Shakur and David Haney, people want to see that. From them, they had, because they had experience sparring that Mayweather joint. Remember that old footage?
Starting point is 00:48:53 You could find that up. So there was always some kind of like bad blood. Pull that. Add it up too. Yeah, pull that up. You know what I'm saying? Show that clip. That was kind of crazy.
Starting point is 00:49:01 You know what I'm saying? But at the end of the day, talking about each other mother, yeah, it's crazy. But that's the business, man. I think both of them was out of line and need to settle it in the ring. Let's take care of it in the ring, man. I agree, but it's going to get even worse at the press conferences now
Starting point is 00:49:15 because the blood's spilled already. The blood's on the ground. Just keep them a little separate. So the press conference, let them take care of it in the ring, it's going to make. They're going to sell more tickets, more paper views. So shout to Giovante and David Haney.

Not a lot of people smile around here. It's when you're alone that you're most receptive to the world as it is, and not the lies you're sold about it. Hey, this is Hayes Davenport. And Sean Clements. We host the podcast Hollywood Handbook on the Big Money Players Network. Our show is extremely accessible to first-time listeners. Each week, we talk to someone in show business, aka the biz, and try to help them with their careers and see what they have to offer us.
Starting point is 00:51:02 Everyone has a good time, and no one gets mad at their publicists for letting them do our show. We've had a lot of great guests like Sarah Sherman, not that great. Actually, can you help me shape this? How about we flip it on his head, right? How about we flip the script? What is the surprise woman? Actually, you think is the straight man is actually the one who's acting weird. Adam Scott.
Starting point is 00:51:26 This entire time, you've been expecting Adam Sandler to come to visit the show. I would never expect. I have. I would never set expectations for something like that to happen. If the universe allows for something like that to happen, I'm open to it. I'm always going to accept. You know, Danny McBride, fine. Yeah, it's all this fragile masculinity exuding.
Starting point is 00:51:52 I could smell it walking down the hallway, to be honest with you. I was like, I was like, is that weed? Nope, it's fragile masculinity. Ben Stiller, no. Because a lot of times out of context, people don't get it or even know it is circling. is. You know what I mean? They're like, oh, what's just a state. Everyone's so dumb.
Starting point is 00:52:10 And fake. Right. Fake and also not interested or just like, oh, I've got my life. I don't care about your life. Starting point is 00:52:32 podcasts. Our town is small taters by most standards, right? But to the people who grew up here, it's everything. What happens when a quiet Tennessee town becomes the front line in a battle over the future of America? Developers with right-wing ties have purchased hundreds of acres of land in the area. The first thing you see when it pops up is pioneers in Appalachia. But they weren't just planning houses. We need cities on a shining hill that exemplify and embody the Christian way of life.
Starting point is 00:53:03 life. Stop right there. Is that normal? A podcast about what happens when a small town becomes the site of a social experiment. God need men to rule. Great. And decides to fight back. Do not use my hard work to sell your bull-h-h-h-hob.
Starting point is 00:53:18 They're not just opposing what's being planned for here. Our hometown is not a test tube. They feel like they're standing in opposition to an entire administration. Guess you didn't move in on a bunch of dumb hillbillies now, did you? Listen to our town on the eye. Heart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Who you got your money on, Legend? Tank has been going a little crazy for me.
Starting point is 00:53:44 I'm going to be honest. I don't know. He's on some internet shit. That's not the question. I said, who you got your money on, man? Who you got your money on? Tank Davis, man. All right.
Starting point is 00:53:54 All that shit you talk about. That's all I asked you, man. Come on, all of them, legend. That's all. That's all. No politics. You just wanted to hear. Is it going to be a good fight?
Starting point is 00:54:06 My money's always going to be on tank. I heard you. You know what I'm saying? Like nobody can lose. I'm just saying Haney lost to Ryan Garcia, correct? Correct. Fucking Javonte knocked out Ryan Garcia. Let me finish.
Starting point is 00:54:20 Let me finish. Let me finish. Take not Ryan Garcia. He stopped him. He stopped him, yes, he made an offense. So if Ryan Garcia lost, I mean, if Devin Haney lost to Ryan Garcia and Javentate, knocked out Ryan Garcia. Of course I'm gonna go with fucking Tank.
Starting point is 00:54:38 Sometimes that don't matter. Stiles, make fights, but I understand what you're saying. You're going on with Tank. You better believe it. Come on, man. Shout to Tronte Davis. You better believe it.
Starting point is 00:54:47 Shout to the whole fucking Baltimore, man. That's a fact, man. You know, when you fuck with a Baltimore nigger, a lesson learned, he's going to cross the line, niggas, it's Baltimore. One of the most aggressive places to come from. Whenever we mentioned.
Starting point is 00:54:58 You know that. Whenever we mentioned Baltimore, we heard about Baltimore niggas from back in the 80s, nigga. We mentioned Baltimore. I got to set out my guy. YG Tech, man. That's my guy.
Starting point is 00:55:07 You know what I'm going to rap. So you know, you know both of mortars, look. Yeah, he just pitched a draw with Lamar Trois Jr. He just lost his last fight. I mean, come on. How are you going to switch up? Yeah, no, he's pitched a draw. You undecided, my nigga.
Starting point is 00:55:20 Dad has made fights, man. You know, Devin Haney, I fuck with you. Just because one person beat the other person, don't mean they can beat the next person, man. He's been busy either, though. He ain't been in the ring. He ain't been doing anything. That don't matter.
Starting point is 00:55:30 That don't. Yo, listen, let me explain something to you. I rock it with, uh, You know, let me explain something to you because there's a lot of Javonte hate. You know what I mean? But I'm going to explain something to you, bro. Javante remind me of like Mike Tyson.
Starting point is 00:55:43 You know what I mean? Yeah, he got the drama. He got the money, the cars, everything you see online, getting crazy. But you know he's a real motherfucker from Baltimore. His moms don't play. His family look like they don't play. Javante is one of them, bro.
Starting point is 00:55:59 Just keep it real. And he's from a place where disrespect is common. We talk about Baltimore. So, yo, so Haney can't talk about the nigger moms, right? And don't respect it, expect the ultimate disrespect to talk about your moms. Even though I don't talk on the dead, shit. You know he's from Baltimore. Is that even confirmed?
Starting point is 00:56:20 She did pass away? No, it was unconfirmed. Oh, okay. Yeah, it was unverified. Oh, if his mom's passed away. I don't want to put that on it like that. Yeah, yeah, copy. Copy.
Starting point is 00:56:31 I didn't want to put that on him. So, yeah. That's what I'm saying. That's like some all line of the body here. Oh, so they need to just get in the ring, man. So Haney moms didn't pass away. That's my understanding. No.
Starting point is 00:56:42 That's what I'm saying. Like, yeah, that's crazy. So what did he say? I just, no, he mocked her. Like, when somebody said she passed away, yeah, that's why your mom died. You know, that's like mommy's mom. Oh, shit. They need to just get in the ring.
Starting point is 00:56:54 That's what I'm saying. Just get in the ring. Yeah, let's. At this point, I mean, yeah, just get in the ring, man. I told you. Yeah, just getting the ring, man. It's crazy, man. Shout to both.
Starting point is 00:57:05 So what Gervante Davis actually say, crazy how buddy talked about my mom only for his mom to check out, I mean, check a few weeks later, like basically check out a few weeks later. Now post that, ishallah. Damn. Oh, that's crazy.
Starting point is 00:57:19 That's crazy. Yeah, that's crazy. But I mean, you know, once he gets to the mothers, man, it gets personal. You know how, come on, you're from the hood. You remember once you say, everything be good, we can have jokes all day, Ralph. We can have jokes, legend.
Starting point is 00:57:32 have jokes, murder. But once you say, your mother, that's when you see that punch fly. Yeah, that's a fact, man. You know how that is, bro. Just understand, when you start talking like that, you get crazy. Whatever happens after, you know, just expected it. It be on point for that. So recently, shout to Harlem Legend, murder.
Starting point is 00:57:50 Salute. Recently, shout to Neon. If y'all didn't notice, I don't just see you online that he just gave Delante West $50,000. Mm-hmm. You know, Delante West's been through a lot of bullshit. Shout to him. Shout to him. Cleveland Cavaliers.
Starting point is 00:58:04 Legend. So he gave him $50,000 and I think he's giving in his own stream. Streaming. Streaming devices. Yeah. I believe on kick. Yeah. So he has it all set up for him.
Starting point is 00:58:14 All he has to do is go on live, click. And Neon has everything set up for. You know what's crazy. And I just seen something. Shout to Neon, man. That was positive. And I just seen something with him big enough on LeBron James and his family for keeping in touch with him during these whole rough times that he'd been going through.
Starting point is 00:58:29 Okay. So I was wondering why that surfacing like him saying that. Like, it was just something recently him saying that. He said that they reached out to him. So it's crazy that you said that. So I guess that's why, because I'm seeing that everywhere now. So I guess why. Well, the neon thing is going viral.
Starting point is 00:58:42 Like I said, he gave him $50,000, which is a, you know, a good amount of money for somebody, you know, trying to get on their feet, shout to everybody out there. That's a need. And like I said, he set up the kick. That's the lucrative thing. Because if Delante West kicks off his kick with neon, I think a lot of people's going to watch it.
Starting point is 00:58:57 And we've been watching a little clips now. He just got to try to stay clean, man. He said, it was just, like, because it ain't the money. He doesn't made a lot of money before. LeBron and him trying to help him. It ain't the money. He doesn't make a lot of money planning the NBA.
Starting point is 00:59:09 It's the problem that he got, you know, with the habit. So he just got to try to stay clean. Just need people helping him trying to do that. Yeah, he said LeBron James and his mother reached, I mean, LeBron James' moms actually reached out to him. That's what caught everybody's attention to make sure he was okay. Oh, that's great. But a lot of people are saying,
Starting point is 00:59:27 is it to really knock him back down when he's doing okay? Because we know the rumors that came out before. So that's one of the biggest things that's out there. Nah, man. Shout to LeBron. That's the goat over here. I'm just putting out there. That's the goal.
Starting point is 00:59:39 I know what you said. The whole, listen, the whole moral of the story is that neon is a good person. Yeah. You know, this kid is a young streamer on a come up. Shout to all the young streamers out there. And the people that want to stream, you know, and he's making millions of dollars. It's reported that he's, what, 50 million in, a young kid like that. And for him to take 50,000 out his pocket and say, you know, here,
Starting point is 01:00:00 And yo, here's your kick setup right here. That's the ultimate assist where Delante West could bounce back and make millions of dollars just being on the platform with Neon. So I'm looking past the $50,000. I'm looking at the page that was created for him, the streaming platform that Neon helped him get. That's fine, you know. So shout to Neon, man.
Starting point is 01:00:20 That was definitely a kind thing to do, man. And the latest news, let's get into Cleveland Browns real quick, right? Let's get into the Cleveland Browns. DeShon Watson is the number one quarterback. at the start of the season. How do y'all feel about that? I saw that that's whack. Over Sheddaugh Sanders.
Starting point is 01:00:36 I thought that was kind of whack because I thought they actually played kind of even. But I thought Shador did better than him. And Deshaun Watson was just talking about how he ain't even filling the whole Cleveland fan base, which he do got a valid point because the last time he said the last time he played in Cleveland and he got hurt that the fans was chairing.
Starting point is 01:00:58 He was like, yo, how could y'all be cheering? that I got hurt and I'm out there playing for y'all city. So I feel him. But he just went and publicly made that statement. Like, man, I don't really care about the Cleveland fans because they was chairing when I got hurt. He was saying he would put his oil in kind of when he go on the road and play. Like, man, all right, if all the games out of way games, I'm going to go hard.
Starting point is 01:01:23 But the Cleveland fan base, I ain't really feeling them too tough. I mean, so I was just kind of surprised that they started. him after he made those comments when him and Shador Sanders was kind of even during the preseason and I think Shadour, give him his shot, man. I just think they, I feel like they've been hating on Shadour
Starting point is 01:01:41 because of Dion, because how vocal Dion B with certain things. I feel like they just hating on Shadour Sanders. That's all. My take on it is Shadour Sanders is the ticket sales. Facts. Everybody was thinking about Cleveland Browns when Shadour Sanders actually came to
Starting point is 01:01:58 the team. The opening games when he played was sold out. Everybody's coming there in all actuality to see Shador Sanders. The last quarterback, what you said his name is? Deshawn Watson. I don't even know him. No, he's been around.
Starting point is 01:02:14 No, no, no. I'm not saying, I'm not, no, no, no, but I'm going to say this, he was the truth. All I'm saying is, walking wise, everybody knows the Sanders family. Bro, they're a big deal. You're right, wrong or right? No, that's the fact, but the Sean Watson was that
Starting point is 01:02:27 when they gave him a lot of gas. He got one of them contracts that the NFL news to give out, right, where all of his money was guaranteed. They gave him a bunch of money, like $233 million, if I'm not mistaken like that. So they're like, man, we got to see this kid do something. We got to see him do something. We then gave him all this money, guarantee. They don't even care if he'd go out there and get hurt at this point.
Starting point is 01:02:51 That's why the fans were cheering. Okay, I agree with you. And I know, I know you're not cool, clear the fans. But what I'm saying is everybody was paying attention when Shado. Of course. Of course. Everybody wanted to buy his jersey. And then opening games, I believe, was like sold out.
Starting point is 01:03:07 Everybody's excited because when you look at it, marketing-wise, I'm not going to say the money because your guy could be better. Marketing wise, the Sanders family. No, I didn't say he my guy. What is the problem with the shit? He ain't my guys. I just feel like he's the guy that's going to, we come in to see play. That's a fact.
Starting point is 01:03:24 I seen what was the last game and he did a great job. He had like all kind of crazy passes. passes, I feel like I'm going to watch the Browns more because of him. Just my opinion. I was like, you know, Deshaun Watson, he actually used to be that dude. He just, he started going through a couple of things. He had a couple of court procedures he went through. He was hurt, shit like that.
Starting point is 01:03:45 But for people that know football, Deshaun Watson was that dude. He was going like back to back with Patrick Mahomes. They was like having shootouts. So Desaun Watson was that dude. That's why Cleven gave him all that money. But since he then got injured and all that. She was going through with these females. He's like, you know, massage therapists and all that.
Starting point is 01:04:03 He hadn't been the same for a long. Allegedly. He hadn't been the same for a long time. He ain't been the same. So I just feel like right now, Shadour is the ticket seller. When we knew he was going to the brand, he's just selling out.
Starting point is 01:04:17 Everybody started paying attention. If he plays, I'm going to tune into the game because he's the quarterback. So it's just the Sanders family. You think that they just don't want to push the same? What is the core problem? I don't know what the problem is, but I know they order ticket. Those are the people you want to see, bro.
Starting point is 01:04:34 Didn't he get drafted last or something like that, too? Yeah, they were having to get drafted in the fifth round. Yeah, yeah, the last round. It was a lot of hate on him because he was a lot of hate on him, because of D.R. Or definitely at least in the top ten. But they was hating on him because of D.R. Anywhere he goes, he's going to sell tickets, bro. They was hating on them because of D.R.
Starting point is 01:04:53 He's going to sell tickets. They proved them wrong last year. He showed out. It's going to, is the kids love it? He led all rookies. Everybody loved to sand his family. You know what I'm saying? Legendary, their dad is a Hall of Famer.
Starting point is 01:05:03 I think just the story all and all that you see, we just love. That's a fact, man. The chains on the field, diamond chains. It don't matter, though. Sidor going to mind them being a start job. They're living a lifestyle like their dad, flashy, you know, and I think I'm going to want to see Shadour play over. They're going to make the power switch.
Starting point is 01:05:21 So it's one of those things where Shadour came from a little different. He came in a little different from all the other kids. He had the money already. Come on. That's trying to get into the NFL. a little flashy. He got the selling move and all that he'd be doing it so they don't like that. He already had a bunch of sponsors.
Starting point is 01:05:35 And now you can make money in college now, so he's making millions already. When Cleveland go 0 and 3, 0 and 4, that's when they go make the quarterback switch and shit, don't get his shot again. But if they hating on them this bad, wouldn't that's like a setup? Like, you get in the game, you think, yo, this is a real intricate getting with him to the NFL. He's all good. He's all good. He's got to keep moving itself.
Starting point is 01:05:55 Snap of a minute, right? And so if they hating on you that much. Like, when you want to not play? Nah, because he wanted to prove itself. He wanted to prove all the haters wrong. It's all good. Now, Shador been doing that this whole career. So he wanted to prove them wrong.
Starting point is 01:06:10 Oh, yeah, I think I'm only here because of Deion. Oh, okay, watch this. And he showed them that last year, so I don't even know why they hating on them like that right now. But like I said, the Sean Watson probably going to go about 0 and 3, 0 and 4. Then they're going to switch over to Shadour. Then I think he's going to show out, man.
Starting point is 01:06:27 So I got to get into this. one with y'all now, right? This is a real, this is a big one that's floating around, right? Yeah. No pun intended, right? Biggie's children challenge. Last minute, last minute changes to Valletta Wallace's estate. I seen so, man. So what was going on here is Christopher C.J. Wallace Jr. alleges that he and his half sister, Tiana Wallace, were removed from significant portions of their grandmother, Valletta Wallace's estate, planned just 15 days. before her death. That don't sound right.
Starting point is 01:07:02 That don't sound right. CJ is questioning her capacity at the time, challenging the authentication, right? Of her signing it at that time. And seeking to remove Biggie's former manager, Wayne Barrow, as executive. So this man basically took over everything, bro. To Wayne Barrow.
Starting point is 01:07:24 Wayne Barrow. I want to know why is that, and why he's not in community? communication with the kids. Because you know Biggie and rest of peace to his mother would want that to be for the kids. So for Christopher to even have to come to the internet to make this public shows you something ain't right. And I feel like Homeboy need to just make that right.
Starting point is 01:07:47 Like stop being greedy. I don't know what's going on like that. But I feel like he need to make that right with the kids ASAP. I mean, I feel like. That's Biggie, man. I mean, you know what I mean? Like, stop playing, man. I think this is the point that we're missing, right?
Starting point is 01:08:00 When people die, right? Because we all lose people, right? Every time you see somebody die, I've seen a lot of family, friends. When somebody died, people start arguing over the money, the real estate, the funds, this, that, brothers, sisters. People that are brothers and sisters now, the point that we're missing is, you said 15 days? Of course. That sounds crazy. Now, read that back to me.
Starting point is 01:08:21 That's the whole point we're missing. 15 days before she died? Yeah, Valetta Wallace is a state plan. Just 15 days. before her death. So if somebody's doing that 15 days before your grandmother died, what makes you think
Starting point is 01:08:34 that they're going to be good with business with you? Should any major will change that close, should any of that be checked out? Obviously, he knew the news before they knew the news. If he changed it 15 days,
Starting point is 01:08:49 if that's correct, that's the foulest shit you could do ever, and that's what people do. Some people die and you could have a fucking can have insurance. on you and you don't even know
Starting point is 01:08:59 or have a trust on you and you won't even know you see it all the time so to me that's some sleaze bag stupid shit and what's his name again? His name is Wayne Barrow We need to figure this out
Starting point is 01:09:12 W. Wayne Barrow we need to figure this out when somebody did the grimace allegedly did the grimyest thing ever 15 days before she passed away that's what I'm saying we need to figure this out
Starting point is 01:09:23 we need all them other podcasts we need all these other podcasts to talk about it too, man. Joe Bunn, I need you to highlight this too, man. Everybody. Highlight this. His children actually own the rights to this? Like, they should have everything you think the children? Yeah. I think so. I think that's what he worked for. And that's what the mother God bless wanted. I think, I think, I think they should be awarded on that that she asked. Yes, she wanted that. Yes, she loved the rancher. Yes, she loved. I think I think they should be rewarded, rest and peace to Nipsey. Like, Nipsey, um, daughter was just awarded. I think they should be
Starting point is 01:09:56 awarded because Dolf did good business. His kids got a lot of real estate and stuff set up. So, you know, these are small guys, smart business plays. But when a guy does something 15 days, allegedly, before, you know, Big's mom passed away, one of the greatest rappers in the world. And I met- And shout to Biggs
Starting point is 01:10:14 I met his son before. That's a fact. With Seas. Good kid. That's fam. That's good people, man. I mean, half of the estate, or most of the state, or majority of the state, she belonged to Biggs' kids.
Starting point is 01:10:25 Because rest in peace, Biggie Small, one of the greatest rappers are old. time, I think that's where he would want. And even if you feel like, right, and even if you feel like they're young, so they might blow through the money, things can get set up where they get certain amount of money each year so you make sure they're not running through it. But the point is it should be in their hands and they should control it. Big would want his kids to be, you know what I'm saying, receiving his money. It's been a pattern for years that many artists that pass a
Starting point is 01:10:58 way, it's always the family feud over who get what? Why do so many artists after they leave is always that kind of family feud? I just told you it's not just artists, it's people in regular families. If somebody might pass away, a grandfather or grandmother or father or mother or whatever it may be, rest in peace, you see it all the time. There's no trust there. So they're arguing over the house. This person might have primary, you know,
Starting point is 01:11:28 Beneficiary everything. And then your sisters and brothers are arguing over, oh, what about me? What about them? You see it all the time. So what happening with artists? It's just on a whole other level because we talk about millions now.
Starting point is 01:11:41 Yeah, the business don't be set up the right way. We're talking about millions now. But if he was management for Biggie's mom, allegedly, right, or doing what he's doing, right? But he did some funny shit changing paperwork, like you said, allegedly 15 days before. We all know it's changing business. He should be on the same page with the kids
Starting point is 01:12:00 to the point where we shouldn't even be speaking about this. We shouldn't even know about this. Like, this shouldn't even be a topic for us to even be talking about. He supposed to be that much on the same page with them kids that this shouldn't even be a topic on our show. Well, Christopher shouldn't even have to go to the internet to talk about this shit.
Starting point is 01:12:19 Well, you know, he beat out Faith Evans actually to get the other half of the state, right? So I want to ask you guys, right? There was speculation that the mother changed it, right? This is what just being said in the media. The mother changed it for a little while has changed it because of Faith messing with...
Starting point is 01:12:39 What's the name? No, Stevie J. Copy. Running around with Stevie J. Okay. The mother wasn't feeling allegedly with all this. Allegedly with all this.
Starting point is 01:12:49 But that's what's floating around in the media. Okay. So she changed it at the last minute. That's what's floating around. But what that got to do? do with the kids. No, I'm just adding it to the story that that's why he might have got it in his hands. You see what I'm saying?
Starting point is 01:13:03 That's why he may end up with it. He was one of the closest to the family. You know what I mean? He's the manager. He's been for years. But the kids ain't feeling that love. Of course not. The kids should definitely get it.
Starting point is 01:13:12 That's why we know about it now because the kids is not feeling the love. They're like, man, something ain't right here. At the end of the day, like I said, allegedly, if he did that shit in 15 days before she passed away. Something ain't right, yeah. I'm just putting out the other scenarios that's just floating around. That's what lawyers there is for, and I hope they work it out. And I believe they're right with that guy.
Starting point is 01:13:32 Because it's big kids. It's your kids. Your kids are always a beneficiary or something. But if there's not trusted. You're invited to come up here to the show if you want to clear it up. But something ain't right. No, we don't want him on the show. We want Biggie son on the show.
Starting point is 01:13:45 C.J. Brooklyn! What's going on? What's going on on the real report, man? How you feel? How are you feeling, man? Hall of legend. Mr. I'm going to keep it.
