"21 SAVAGE & LIL BABY - ATLANTA TEARS"
03Now, of course, when it comes to Abraham, more commonly referred to as 21 Savage, safe to say that his album titled, What Happened to the Streets is coming out December 12th.Oh, hold on. That's not the drop I meant to play. But then, you know what I'm saying?I was like, damn, look at the state of hip hop.Like, what's going on?Now, that being said, of course, this man, Abraham said Friday, which we can only assume means the release date for what happened to.the streets that as of right now if you go to DSPs it says it's a total of 14 tracks now we allknow i say we all know who we want on that album is it okay i got my dope on me now maybe i'm the only one
49you know what i'm saying as far as the ultimate chemistry in hip-hop it seems like 21 savage hasovertaken future but i want to hold that to the next segment as currently let's just talk about his albumAs when you look at, you know, aside from features, the main thing about this album is that 21 Savage has been taking a very interesting hiatus as far as in the year of 2025.If you look at his musical offerings, it's very few and sparse, right? His singles, as his latest one was him being on Summer Walker's track, Get Your Boy, that was released November 13th.And then you look at Walk Down, which I think is fire, right? That track came out September 25th.And then of course, the track with, uh, what was the track with Central C?
37That was my favorite one.Yeah, uh, GbP.That came out, goodness, January 16th.Yeah, that was a while ago.But anyways, so he hasn't been that active in 2025.He's probably, let me see, one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight. He's given out eight features, uh, eight features in the year of 2025.You guys.
56See, that's the problem. And then, of course, to go along with that, he hasn't given us any singles.he hasn't teased anything until this past week as when it when you look at him putting out a wholealbum without a single it's very interesting because i do believe a single helps the overallmarketing strategy for an album but if you're 21 savage whose last album which was american dreamthat album came out january 12th 2024 and with that specific album that sold 133 000 first week now that wasright after the collab with Drake. So as far as projections in the first week, I would say that it would be around 100,000 metric.
37I'm open to being wrong.I was definitely wrong with Summer Walker.I thought she was going to sell way more and she ended up selling less. But as far as one of my social media clips that, you know, went semi-viral, nothing too crazy,I definitely follow your boy on social media. But when it comes to my social media post, I was very on the nose as far as Cardi B's first week projections.because usually as far as the landscape or music it's ebbs and flows but usually you could tell what people are going to sell based on projections and the amount of engagement off the bat as far as when they start their marketing rollout because usually when I look at singles that's a good indication of how the album's going to do um but with 217 she doesn't have a single so just going off his past first week projections or not uh projections his past first week sales you have American dream with 133,000you have his collab album with the goat that interestingly enough um it gave me to project projection
36but it didn't give me the actual let me see her loss first week because when you look at the actualnumber it sold seems like it saw a four hundred and four thousand first week i was wanting to doublecheck that okay yeah so first week it sold four hundred and four thousand first week and it went number one andAnd with that album currently being two times platinum, I mean, I said that before as far as when they first came out, I thought this album was way better than what a time to be alive with Drake in future, which may be a hot take. But the chemistry that 21 Savage and Drake has is insane as far as when you look at that duo compared to the rest of duos and hip-hop.Anyways, all the glazing sets aside.Pause.You guys.
20The main thing I was wanting to get across is that the covers for these albums is very interesting. And before we move on to the next segment, the main thing I was wanting to say is that when you look at the cover art is very interesting as far as how it was made as 21 Savage, well, here's the cover art right here.Analytic Dreams video on Spotify to see the video along with the audio. When it comes to the cover art, 21 Savage collaborated with designer and artist Slan to create a four-part alternate cover series for his album, What Happened to the Streets. Now you're probably thinking to yourself.Well, where's the other covers?I got you right here. So these are the other four covers, right? This is very abstract art,if I do say so myself. You know, when I look at a certain art, I come to realize why people
05say art is subjective. Because to somebody, to somebody, no, to somebody, this is a masterpiece. And that's all that matters. So anyways, with that being said, this is the main cover art for the album. And at the end of the day,When you look at the runtime or the track or the feature list is non-existent because as of me recording this, we only know about the album coming out Friday, which is like two days from now.I really can't wait.Going from the Game Awards to a 21 Savage album, I mean, it's safe to say this weekend's going to be very busy.So when it comes to that, let's transition and get into feature talk because of course we all know who we want on that album.get into feature talk right now is it okay i got my dope on me
