Starting point is 00:00:00 Running a business is hard, and that's why many entrepreneurs and business owners are struggling to generate revenues and decent profits. Hey, my name is Bedroskule, and welcome to the Bedroskulian show. And listen, the reality is that most business owners are doing way too many things in their business. And that is causing so much friction. That is causing so much frustration for you. And that's really starting to burn you out. And I'm not talking about brand new business owners who are just like a few months into entrepreneurship. I'm talking about business owners that have been doing this for two years,
Starting point is 00:00:30 five years, 10 years, and they're still doing a bunch of different things. They've kind of become the most expensive employee in the company who's doing all the trivial work that they shouldn't be doing. But what if I said there was three specific things that you as the founder, CEO, and entrepreneur should be doing, and everything else needs to be focused on by somebody else. What if I told you those three things are the most important and critical things? And if you just focused your energy on those three things, you will make a lot of more revenue, have higher profits, and actually enjoy being an entrepreneur.
Starting point is 00:01:04 Listen, I can tell you from firsthand experience, I've been in your shoes where you find yourself editing videos, doing payroll, doing quickbooks and accounting, posting up content, and doing all these trivial things that need to get done but don't necessarily need to get done by you. And then ultimately, you find yourself in a position where the most important three things that you need to do end up as an afterthought. So what are those most important three things that a founder and CEO of a business needs to do? Simple.
Starting point is 00:01:36 LSD. So let's get started. L stands for leads. Your number one job is to generate leads for your business. Not to do quickbooks, not to clean the bathrooms and do payroll and figure out how to package and ship product and edit videos and post content and go through all the different spreadsheets. No, no, no. You do all that as busy work and I get it because you think no one can.
Starting point is 00:01:59 do it better than you, but then you kind of leave as an afterthought the three most important things that you should do. And one of those most important things is lead generation, right? Because if you're not generating consistent, high quality, high intent leads, then your business is literally lacking oxygen. If your business was a human and I was to put my hand across its mouth and nose, how long do you think your business can hold its breath before it dies, right? Well, leads are oxygen for your business. Without leads, that business is going to die. And if you have inconsistent leads, if you have sporadic leads, you're getting leads that are kind of kicking the tires, but not really interested. They're not high intent. They're not
Starting point is 00:02:43 pre-sold and pre-qualified. Guess what? You're going to have a harder time making money. And so one of the biggest things you can do in your business, one of the three most important things you can do, is figure out how to lead generate, through organic content creation, through doing podcasts and YouTube shows like this, through paid ads on Google, YouTube, meta, TikTok, getting influencers to promote for you. But even before you pay for paid traffic, you've got to craft an offer that is irresistible. Do you think anyone else in your company is going to do it? Do you think you're going to hire an agency to take your product or service and actually craft a better offer than you can?
Starting point is 00:03:19 After all, you're the one that created your business. You're the one that had the vision. You saw the problem in the industry. or the community that you're trying to serve. You're the one that can articulate that offer the best. You're the one that can make it so irresistible that they can't say no to, right? And if you can't craft an offer that is irresistible
Starting point is 00:03:35 and get it out through all those different channels that I just listed off, and you do it on a consistent basis, and then you make sure that traffic is coming to a page or to a form where people can actually purchase or identify themselves as high-intent leads to get on the phone with what closer or to make that purchase off the website, And guess what?
Starting point is 00:03:54 Your business is going to struggle, my friend. Guys, quick interruption to the Bedrose-Coolian show. I want to tell you about the Man Up bundle that I have for you for $29, and 100% of it goes to Shriners Children's Hospital, where we're going to do a lot of good, and you're going to build an awesome business and have a great life because of it. And I'm donating 100% of that money to Shrinas Children's Hospital where they do a lot of good and give a lot of surgeries and medical services. to kids whose families can't afford that. So go to manup tribe.com and get the Bedros-Colian man-up bundle before it all sells out. Peace. Right?
Starting point is 00:05:03 So if you have lead generation as an afterthought, you only start hustling to drive leads when you need money and payrolls coming up and taxes are coming up and you don't know what to do, you're not doing your business, the leadership service that you should be doing. So lead generation is number one of three important things you should do. The second thing that you should be doing, is creating a sales system. Right now, you probably have a sales system, if you will, but that sales system is sporadic. It's unpredictable. And it's probably also erratic, meaning sometimes we'll get on the phone and close people. Sometimes you'll do it via Zoom. Other times it'll be via DM.
Starting point is 00:05:42 You don't really have a predictable way of crafting a presentation that gets people excited, that builds the benefit, that adds value, that makes them want to go, oh, I need this product over everything else that's being sold out there, that overcomes the objections, that gets them to commit before you ask for the sale, right?
Starting point is 00:06:03 And if you're not going through those steps in a very organized and predictable manner, you're going to have unpredictable sales. And if at the end of that whole presentation, you're not making an A or B offer, you're just saying, what do you think? Do you want to buy?
Starting point is 00:06:19 my product or service, they're going to say, well, no, I don't. Or yes, I do. Or I need to think about it. I need to talk to my spouse. I need to look at my finances. I don't know if I have time. This is why you end up dealing with a lot of objections. So on the lead generation side, you don't have an irresistible offer and you don't have multiple poles in the water driving high intent leads into your funnel. And then on the sales side of it, which is massively important, you don't have a predictable process that you've documented that every time we go, through this process we overcome objections build high value stack the benefits build rapport with the individual get them financially committed and then give
Starting point is 00:07:00 them an a or B offer so whichever one they choose they win and you win right and if you could do that now you've got a process that you can document and you can measure where lead generation and sales conversion is concerned you have to not only drive the leads and make the sales but you also have to measure How many people are we talking to to get the right number of revenue into the bank account, right? If you're talking to 10 people in terms of sales, but you're closing two of them and you have a 20% close rate, that's pretty dismal. What can you do to pre-qualify them, to pre-excite them before they even get on a sales call or face-to-face or hit your website, right? Maybe it's an automated webinar.
Starting point is 00:07:42 Maybe it's a string of testimonials. Maybe it's a string of email auto-responders to get them to know, like, and trust. you and your product before they even talk to you. Better yet, imagine if they actually talked to a sales rep, because if you're the one doing all those selling after all these years in business, you're still trading time for dollars. And that's why I said you're the highest paid employee, but you're burning out. There's a lot of friction, frustration in your business. And quite honestly, you don't have time to get sick, let alone go on a vacation, let alone to enjoy life. That's not why we create businesses, right? And so what I do with my coaching clients is I help them create a
Starting point is 00:08:18 process that they can document the lead generation. They could document the sales presentation and then how to track all of this. Guys, quick interruption to the Bedros-Coolian show. If you want better health, more energy, you want to fight off inflammation and you want to boost your immune system, then you are probably taking a lot of supplements like I used to. I say used to because I stopped taking all these different supplements and you can now throw away your vitamin C, throw away your zinc, throw away your vitamin D3, your B-12, your ginger, your turmeric, your echinacea, and your Stragulus. Why? Because all of it now is available in the Truelean everyday wellness packets. So instead of spending $2 to $300 a month on supplements like that, for a fraction of that,
Starting point is 00:08:59 you're going to get the Trulian Wellness shot delivered right to your door for free shipping. And you're going to use the code bed roast when you go to truleen.com to get 50% off. And $1 of every single order goes to Striner's Children's Hospital. So go to truene.com, use code bedroose, and order your 30-day supply. of the truly everyday wellness shot. Now back to the show. Like for example, if you have a business that's doing maybe a million or two,
Starting point is 00:09:25 you might use go high level or active campaign or some other CRM to be able to track where the leads are coming from. What is the return on ad spend? What percentage of those leads are you converting into paying clients and customers? Are you closing at 40%, 50%, 60% or are you stuck at 20% and sales are just being left on the table
Starting point is 00:09:45 because you don't have a predictable process of converting leads into sales, right? Because if you can document this, now you can bring on a salesperson, a second salesperson, third salesperson, and this is how we begin to scale. And then you could really crank up the lead generation pipeline
Starting point is 00:10:02 because there are more salespeople that you have that are following a predictable and a very effective sales process, the more you can crank up your pipeline of leads and that is how you start generating more revenue, which then allows you to do the third most important thing, which is to delegate. So once you're generating leads and you've documented that process, you're making sales and you've documented that process and you're closing at least
Starting point is 00:10:27 50 to 70% of the people that you come across, right, whether it's face-to-face Zoom, phone call, doesn't matter to me. The third thing that you should be doing your third most important job is delegation. And that means you've got to hire the right people, show them the expectation that you have for them, set the KPIs, keep performance. performance indicators so they know what winning looks like and then empower them to go do the job. And then every week, every month, every quarter, and that entire year, we're tracking the KPIs, the key performance indicators to see, are they on track? Are they going to hit the goals in terms of revenue?
Starting point is 00:11:08 Because if we're hitting company revenue goals, they're hitting commission goals. If they're hitting commission goals, they're happy, you're happy. And if you're able to keep all of that in line, those are the only three things you have to do. But instead, you find yourself doing all the other trivial work that you could pay other people to do. Things like spreadsheets and quickbooks and taxes and accounting and payroll and making videos and editing videos. Do you really think it's in your zone of genius, my friend, to make and edit videos? No, you should be the person in front of the camera like this, creating the content. And then you should have a team of people editing, adding B-roll, putting in the hooks.
Starting point is 00:11:44 and then posting it across all the different platforms so that you can generate leads. As like that, you would also have actual people running your ads for you. And if you're the one trying to boost the post, hoping that you get some sales, you're the one trying to figure out Facebook Ad Center and Google ads,
Starting point is 00:12:03 guess what? You are struggling because there are people out there who can specialize in this stuff. And if you can pay them because you know who your ideal lead is, you know what a real, specific offer looks like that people can't say no to and you know where your best future clients and customers are, you can delegate to your employees and your employees know the expectations,
Starting point is 00:12:26 have the KPIs and they will start making you money. Guys, this is how you scale a business. But if you're doing all these other things, what you're doing is you're neglecting your business and you're leaving lead generation, sales, and delegation as an afterthought. And what ends up happening is you get massively stressed because you look at the bank account, payroll's coming up, quarterly taxes are coming up, you don't have enough revenue, so then you go into hustle mode and you figure it out. I get it. I've been there. Many, many years ago, I've been there where I would have to hustle to push money into the bank
Starting point is 00:12:59 account to meet payroll, to meet quarterly taxes, to be able to buy more product and service, to be able to get it out there and sell it. But is that really how you want to run your business? What happens when an organized entrepreneur comes into your industry? and decides that they're only going to focus on LSD, lead generation, sales systems, and delegation. Now, you're focusing 5% of your efforts as an afterthought on LSD. They've got 95% of their efforts focused on LSD. Who do you think is going to win after a year?
Starting point is 00:13:30 They're going to put you out of business. So I'm here to tell you, if I were coaching you, if I were helping you scale your business, what I would teach you to do and what I would help you craft is a very specific lead generation funnel that is quantifiable, measurable, measurable, and predictable that drives people to a page where they can then identify themselves as high intent leads. We would create a sales process that is systematized and designed to convert those high intent leads into paying clients and customers. And then we would document the whole thing and create measurable outcomes so that we can delegate to a team that's competent that knows what winning looks like and has KPIs, key performance
Starting point is 00:14:10 indicators so that they can win. This is how I've scaled Fit Body Boot Camp, Truling Supplements, and all the different brands under the umbrella that we have here. And if you want me to help you scale your business as well, find me on Instagram, send me a DM, and I'd be more than happy to tell you what coaching with me looks like. That said, if you're still going to focus on trying to do everything in your business, well, I wish you luck. But if you focus on LSD, lead generation systems and delegation, and then move it to
Starting point is 00:14:37 someone else's plate so that you can be the visionary, your company, you're going to win massively, and you're going to thank me for it. Guys, thank you for watching and listening to this episode of The Bedrose Coolien Show. Do me a favor if you're watching this on YouTube. Starting point is 00:15:05 to flip the switch. I'll see you later.
