Bill O'Reilly here and I'm warming up. Stand by for the O'Reilly Update Morning Edition. On this Tuesday, no doubt if a famous person in America, movie star, sportsperson, singer, celebrity of any kind begins injecting him or herself into politics, that person is going to get grief. It doesn't matter what side. If you speak publicly about politics in this country, somebody's going to come after you. So Taylor Swift endorsed Kamala Harris. Doesn't matter to me. Ms. Swift is American.

She has a right to her opinion. She wants to tell everybody that she's voting for the vice president. Okay. But a lot of people got angry. And I think it will affect Ms. Swift's popularity to some degree, not a great degree, but to some. Then you have Vince Vaughn, remember him? He was in a box watching a football game, and Donald Trump was in the box. And they passed a few words, and the camera caught it.

And Vince Vaughn, who's a good guy, caught all kinds of heat, just for talking to Trump. How insane is that? Late-night TV has destroyed itself in the ratings for being partisan. So the message here is we live in a very volatile political age. Be careful what you yourself say, especially in the workplace, because somebody's going to come after you. Back in a moment.
