The Executive Director of Care, the Council on American Islamic Relations, a Muslim rights organization, gave a speech at the American Muslims for Palestine Convention in Chicago.He said, quote, the people of Gaza only decided to break the siege, break the walls of the concentrationcamp on October 7th. And yes, I was happy to see people breaking the siege and throwing down the shacklesof their own land. The people of Gaza have a right to self-defense. And Israel, an occupying power,
