Fiasco is a history podcast for the co-creators of Slow Burn.

you need to make sense of it all.
Every day in just 15 minutes, we dive into one global business story that matters.
You'll hear from Bloomberg journalists like Matt Levine.
A lot of this meme stock stuff is,
I think, embarrassing to the SEC.

And I'm Jack O'Brien.
We're the hosts of The Daily Zeitgeist, and we want to tell you about Miles and Jack

We nailed that.

Basically, if you love basketball and you like to laugh,

an NBA podcast on the iHeartRadio app, Apple podcast,

Brought to you by Hypnotic.
The volume.
Good morning, happy Monday, it's 5.20 in Good morning. Happy Monday. It's 5 20 in the morning.
Feels good to be back in the studio, man.
Had a couple of days off for the gate vacation, but we back with y'all to give
you everything I need in the sports world, especially basketball. I'm your host.
My name is DJ Wells joined this morning by my two esteemed co-hosts on my left,
the B day boy, my brother, Bishop Hendricks, how you doing this morning, brother?
Cooling, bro, I'm revived, baby.
Let's work, let's work.
Now listen, we didn't know what was gonna happen, man.
The Hendricks experiences last night,
we thought my boy was gonna use his PTO day.
Nah, hell nah, I gotta work still, bro.
I got a job to do.
My boy's not.
It went up last night, though, for sure.
For sure, to my right, my brother Tig,
how y'all doing this morning, man?
I'm chilling, bro, you know what it is.
Let's get to it, nasty, I'm, I'm vibed out.
This dude is crazy.
Lost him still all the way.
Listen, man, a lot of sports happened this weekend,
but we're going to keep it basketball this morning, man.
We had some great matchups yesterday.
Number one, but number two in the East took off yesterday.
Donovan Mitchell went crazy in the fourth yesterday
as the Cavs took care of the Celtics, 115 to 111.
Listen, man, that was a great game yesterday, man. Donovan Mitchell showing why he deserves to be in the fourth yesterday as the Cavs secure the Celtics 1-15 to 1-11. Listen man, that was a great game yesterday, man.
Donovan Mitchell showing why he deserves
to be in the MVP conversation.
Oh man, he's on a run right now.
The only kryptonite right now is the Hawks, my Hawks.
But Donovan Mitchell, man, he playing at an all time high
right now.
What he did last night, he kinda showed that he's here.
All NBA All-Stars started for sure.
Yes sir.
Playing like a first team All-NBA player.
I'm excited to see how far the Cavs can go.
For sure man, listen he had 35 yesterday,
20 in the fourth, seven rebounds as well.
Derrish Garland showed up yesterday,
last time they played at Celtics, you know,
he laid the stinker, but 22 and eight,
he was back on track.
No JB yesterday, but JT held it down for him yesterday.
He had 33 and eight, and poor Zingus, man, 21 and eight.
It's crazy that this game was that close without JB.
Yeah, that's the big red flag right there.
Like it was a close, a dog fight all the way through.
But like we talked about the Celtics,
they got so many players that can be all-stars
at any given moment.
Without JB, you got a close battle like this.
JB obviously an all NBA kind of player.
That's the difference between the Celtics and the Cavs.
I mean, JB out, you still got a dog fight.
They got JB, probably a blowout win for the Celtics.
Yeah, that's the crazy part about it.
And you were talking about this before.
I seen a lot of people said about that six minute year
for Peyton Pritchard at Hebe & Ballin'.
Aw man. Hebe & Ballin'.
You might as well hang that up, that's his.
Yeah, for sure.
I think the dope thing about the Cavaliers though,
for you to have a close on Donovan Mitchell,
and it seems like obviously we know he can get to it,
but he's been doing it in the fourth.
He's doing it in situations where winning matters.
I think to have a player like that getting that mode
at this time of the season going forward,
it's gonna be ugly, man,
because like you said,
maybe it don't match up with the Celtics,
but who really does?
Other than that, I don't feel confident
in Donovan Mitchell getting me a dub in the fourth quarter.
So far, I think he, like I said,
I think Jeff said that he might be the best two guard
in the league right now.
He ballin'.
He going crazy right now for sure.
My only fear with the Cavs is,
they one injury away from being AFC.
True. That's a fact.
They need everybody.
They needed the whole squad. Like if they don't got the squad, it's over with.
So I pray that they stay healthy.
Cause if Donovan Mitchell or Darius Garland go out,
they gonna drop immediately.
And listen, man, I've been looking at some teams
in the East that could use a little bit of help
on the wing.
We'll talk about how terrible the Wizards are later.
But a Kyle Kaluwema type player could go to the Cavs
and help solidify some stuff for them.
I'm not saying he gets them over the hump,
but another player like that who give them
another strong defensive wing
and an able-minded shooter and scorer,
I didn't get them there, man.
I don't know if they could beat the Celtics,
but like you said, that'd help with the Defs,
because that team, everybody gotta play perfect
and not get hurt.
I mean, they still got Karris LaVert.
Six man for sure?
Yeah, they still got capable players.
I mean, all buddies having an all time year right now.
My favorite backup point guard besides Pippen.
Pippen, what's his name?
Todd Jerome.
He's playing great.
But they need a solidified scorer.
I wouldn't say it'd be Kyle Kuzma.
I mean, he could, but he had to come off the bench.
Yeah, yeah.
And I don't know if Kuz is ready for that.
I mean, I know he did it in LA and whatever,
but I don't know if he's right there in his career
to be like, yeah, I'm coming off the bench.
Yeah, I think he'll be nothing on that.
They need like Jordan Clarkson or somebody
that's somebody that comfortable
with being a solidified role player.
Kuzma still wanna be the star damn near on the team.
Yeah, I don't see him coming off the bench at all.
Damn, that's interesting.
You think that he would have to go to a role
where he would start, cause I mean, I'm just looking,
we ain't gonna talk too much about the Wizards,
but like a player like him could go to another team
and probably contribute on the championship level.
You don't think he'd be like, all right,
well, y'all already got a role and I come in and do my thing.
I mean, I imagine he could probably beat out Isaac O'Curl
for a job if he came to that point.
But it's that chemistry.
I got you.
You don't wanna alter it.
Yeah, Isaac, they playing great.
Like, why would you ever?
Yeah, don't fuck up the vibes.
Yeah, don't fuck up the vibes.
Not for Coos.
Too short.
No disrespect to Coos,
but I'm not messing up the vibes for Coos.
For the show, man.
Listen, man, Celtics, we talking up about that team.
They just go ahead.
They can't win them all.
They ain't gonna go 82 and 0.
That is scary though for them to be that close
without they dog too.
Come on, Andy White and Plankstead, they don't.
Yeah, they do it, man.
Oh, shit.
That's what I'm saying, like, they all right, man.
We ain't worried about the Celtics.
They lose a couple games.
Celtics still the number one team to me.
Yeah, they're still the team to beat.
Everybody's chasing them at this point for sure.
To still be that good of a team
when you got two of your key players out.
Come on bro.
Says a lot about that organization.
They know how to build a squad.
Not for sure.
But I mean, they got, they took a chance with the money.
They ain't care.
Yeah.
A lot of teams care.
A big gamble.
Rant it up too.
Like Golden State, when they went on their run,
they didn't care.
They paid whatever the tax was. Boston right now, they didn't care. They paid whatever the tax was.
Boston right now, they don't care.
I think we in that area, like I said,
I think they in that Golden State area.
I think they got a chance to win three in a row.
Yeah.
I'm rolling.
They are, look like to be what could be
the next dynasty in the NBA for sure.
I can see them going back to back this year for sure.
Most definitely, speaking of paying that money,
the man that they said they should have paid that money to
for Evian Fleet went crazy yesterday.
Everyone, verse number two in the West, man,
Rockets secure.
I can see y'all the Rockets, man.
Be handsome, not believing in them.
I'm asleep.
I told you.
It's a young team though, I'm just sleep.
I'm just sleep on the Rockets.
I like the Rockets, man.
I love Houston, but I'm asleep on the Rockets. I just like the way they play.
I told y'all Dillon Brooks man, for some reason,
nobody likes him, I like Dillon Brooks.
He just brings that energy to a group.
Like a young group, he like make you believe,
like he don't give a damn.
And last night, you know him at SGA actually cool.
For him to get the scuffle going for SGA over the bar,
that just bring a different kind of energy to a team.
For sure, like you said,
it may not always show up in the stats,
but the energy and the swag that he brings to a team,
it's definitely undeniable.
Listen man, close game yesterday, 119-116.
I'm saying.
Bro, I'd love to have a Dylan Brooks on the squad.
Yeah, you need one of those.
He's that person that you hate playing against,
but love to have in your squad, bro.
He like, I cannot say,
I ain't gonna say he better than Pat Bev.
They remind me of the same person, but he bigger.
He more effective than Pat Bev,
like cause he actually six, seven, six, eight.
So he actually can like really bother people.
Pat Bev bothered guards and stuff like that,
but he actually like kind of get under like a SGA skin.
He even know SGA kills, but you can see it.
Like you got a throwback comparison, like somebody know SGA kills, but you can see it.
You got a throwback comparison,
like somebody from the 90s that Dylan Brooks remind you of.
I was just trying to think of who I could.
Anthony Mason.
I don't know.
I got a story to tell.
That's the real Ant Man.
I'm just saying like.
Nah, dog like that, yeah.
Cause you know like it's different.
No shade to Pat Beb, I love Pat.
But Pat, a point guard.
So for him to be effective,
it's defensively or whatever.
But you need your point guard still get buckets
in this league.
Give buckets, average 20 and 10, blah, blah, blah.
He don't really gotta do that as a wing.
Cause you got scoring guards.
He got, he had Jauma right now,
he got Fred Van Fleet, and he got Jalen Green. Yeah, he straight. He got, he had Jauma right now, he got Fred Van Fleet.
And then you got Jalen Green.
You got Desmond Bang.
So like his role is to be that.
But as a point guard, you kind of got to run the show.
Even though when he was with the Rockets,
James Harden did all the point guard duties,
but they very similar.
I just think his role fits a little better.
For sure, man.
That makes a lot of sense for real.
And the crazy part about the whole team,
like with Dillon Brooks, like you said,
you could feel the void he left when he left Memphis.
Now he with this team, the energy, the way they compete.
On top of that, listen, man,
MA, you saw what he did with the Celtics, man.
I told you.
He's already building early, I know it's early in the season,
but he got a top two team in the West off two years.
He marked Jackson, bro.
Boston, I love Joe.
Joe was my guy when I was in Boston.
Joe Steve Kerr.
He built that team, got them where they needed to be.
They added a new piece.
Joe get over the hump.
I see what I'm saying.
So now he go somewhere else.
He building up this Houston team.
Hopefully, hopefully everything goes smooth over there.
I wish them well, bro. I'm just, I'm super heat. I, hopefully everything goes smooth over there. I wish them well bro.
I'm just, I'm super heat.
I know they out there, they out there.
So Tre likely is a little different than the Boston Greeks.
First of all, it's a better batch.
Yeah.
It's got a better feel to play here bro.
Hopefully you just single now, so it don't even matter.
Yeah, the open gym out there, tap in with me.
It might hit the deal.
The real pro-ems.
I got a few places that you could attend, my boy.
But he definitely know how to build a team, man.
He get people to believe.
I was against him sending like,
ah, what's my guy name?
And went to Villanova over there that doesn't get,
he don't get to play anymore.
Damn, Ken Whitmore.
I was like confused that he wasn't playing
because I think he's a star.
But shit, I guess he know what he's doing.
Yeah, and everybody was just like, you know,
they gave him high praise, like looking for more miss,
but he's like, nah, I got this.
Yeah, like.
And how can you go against him now?
You can't, bro.
They didn't dream of being two in the West
at any point in the season, probably.
Them making the playoffs for them
was probably a great year so far,
but they in a position to be good.
SGA still went crazy, 32-1-8, he's going crazy.
Jalen Williams, man, 22-5.
Isaiah Hardstein, man, 19 and 13.
Do you agree with Kendrick Perkins
when he said he's the top 10 center in the NBA?
Yeah.
Yeah, because that's the position.
He double-double with me.
This is spooky anyway, though.
So he might fuck around and be higher, though.
Yeah, at this point.
Honestly, so far as his value,
like his value is them, they're screaming top five
at the center position.
I mean, he played great for the Knicks last year,
he playing great for them now.
He definitely top 10 for sure.
All right, I gotta ask y'all this question, one and two.
Outside of SGA, who's an all-star
from one of these two teams?
Gonna somebody gotta make up some.
We feel like Jalen Williams is supposed to be officer. I'm gonna let y'all cook, man. Y'all know how I feel about this multiple all-star from one of these two teams? We feel like Jalen Williams is supposed to be our third.
I'ma let y'all cook, man.
Y'all know how I feel about this multiple all-star shit.
Y'all feel like Sunken should be one for the Rockets?
I'm saying we'd go from either team as well.
No.
Yeah, we should.
18 and 10?
Is that a number?
Number two, killing, 18, 10, and five.
And the 2C, I mean, if they stay top three.
Albert!
What is Jalen Green averaging?
Let's see, I think Jalen Green is probably in the mid 20s.
We gotta go two of his steps.
That'd be lit if he make the all-star team.
I mean 19.
I'll probably have to give it to Sagal.
Yeah, especially with the guards in the west.
Yeah, especially the guard in the west.
If he can get his up to like 22,
cause Jalen Williams is averaging 22. If he can get to 22 and they number two in the west. Yeah, especially the guard in the west. If he can get his up to like 22, cause Jalen Williams is averaging 22.
If he can get to 22 on that number two in the west,
I'll give it to Jalen Green.
But Segon right now is, yeah, I'ma go with him.
Yeah, that's tough.
22, six or five.
Yeah, he's Jalen Williams.
Yeah, he deserve to be all star, bro.
For sure, man.
Shout out to the young boys killing it for sure.
James Harden went crazy vintage.
39, man.
He's been on a little tear.
Yeah, he's been looking like, you know what I'm saying?
The age of James Harden's past.
Took care of Yogi's yesterday.
He still got it in the tank, bro.
It's still there.
39, 11 and nine.
Damn, they're triple-dosed, bro.
Yeah, he's big-aged, bro.
He's still cooking, bro.
Yeah, he different.
Yeah, I'm not even gonna talk about him.
I'm done.
Him with Justin, to those players,
like he had to sacrifice for Paul in Kawhi,
you feel me, fell into that role,
dumbed down in status, he's like,
shit, we back in Houston.
Back in H-town, we in Houston, LA,
we back home, we running your track,
it took off your track.
But that's why I feel like Paul George,
I know we give Paul George shit on the show,
but I feel like he needs to be James Harden, bro.
James Harden dumbed down his role for y'all.
But when we need him, he coming out and killing, bro.
Some people don't got that capability.
And I'll say this, see, hey, I feel about it.
I don't feel like that Paul George
was ever a better player than James Harden.
No, no, no, no, I'm just saying. That's like no question. I don't feel like that Paul George was ever a better player than James Harden. I don't think he could ever facilitate a game
the way that James Harden does.
I think that's the difference.
They put all the players around him.
Likewise, it was in Houston with this team
and you got great coaching with Todd Lue.
It's like, yeah bro, we put PG in this position.
They wouldn't be in the same boat.
No, for sure, cause they two different players.
I'm just saying when it's time to take over,
whatever you do as a player, Paul George,
turn it up when we need you the most.
You can't be a role player when we down three or four players.
That's all I'm saying.
Just turn it up a notch.
Yeah, facts.
When they went out, he start cooking.
The thing about James Hart, he's a point guard.
So I always tell all players,
you wanna have the ability to play point guard.
Even if you a great scorer,
you wanna have the ability to play point guard
because you can control the game.
So that's what made Draymond Green special
because he can basically play point guard.
So he got the ability to control the game
offensively and defensively,
but James Harden can do the same thing
offensively.
He can control the game because he can play point guard.
When you just a bona fide scorer, two guard,
and you can't control the game, that's Paul George.
He can have moments where he's great in a game,
but to control it, pin people in places
to make everybody successful,
that's why James Harden can play with under man teams
and look great.
For sure, man, listen listen man, he made history.
Only him and Steph, two players everywhere,
three thousand make threes bro.
That's crazy. God damn.

I don't think I had 3000 points.
It's like, 2003.
I want to see how many they missed, but hitting three is crazy.
I don't think I took 3,000 shots.
Man, somebody look up this nigga's stats.
Nah, I'm gonna say you scored 10K.
I scored 10K for him, bro.
You scored 10K.
But we ain't gonna let you down play that up here.
No, but I don't think, that's a lot of shots.
Like, I know, I don't think I took a,
I definitely ain't take 1,000 threes.
I was 100% sure I ain't taking 1,000.
How many years you playing in the league, Brody?
Look at them damn jerseys.
55.
Damn, Mitchell and Des, off of shop.
I ain't got no money.
Jerseys up there, fuck that league.
We gotta get a boss of this, boy.
We gotta get a boss of the Mitchell and Des team, Jerseys.
I got a bunch of boss of jerseys.
No, we need a Michelin.
Y'all want the game, the game war?
No.
You got it branded the right way.
Y'all want the game war.
Just put 2021 in the dash.
Well, they said we got a year.
How many FGAs did you have?
Did we see?
Yeah.
Phil Goat attempts. I shot 2003. How many FGAs did you have? Did we see? Phil go to Tim's.
I shot 2003.
All them boys put their hell up.
They made 3000.
Oh fuck.
Look, they made 3000, I only made 7900.
Ain't that crazy?
Damn bro, you took 7,000 shots.
That ain't enough, what the fuck?
I looked at that number, I was like damn,
how many years have I been playing?
I know you 10 plus.
Yeah, you did buy that pipe.
I didn't shoot enough.
Buy 11.
This nigga shot, they think it's me.
Half of my.
What is that Mike?
Ah, the three-pointers attempted.
I attempted 1900.
They made...
3000.
Yeah, bro.
But I mean, bro, only two people have done it.
So I'll be but damn.
You was in a few wicked situations.
I only made 703s of our career.
Y'all broke as fuck.
I know, is that 40%?
Hell nah.
Like 35, something, probably.
35.
My first years don't count. 36 or bad. My first years don't count.
36.
My first years don't count, I was broke as hell.
Y'all are gonna say,
your first early years why don't count?
If you, and also if you play a little bit later
and when you get to shoot a question.
21% from my first year?
I probably would shoot half court shots.
For real, they used to send me in
with one minute to go on the court
or the guys would get the ball every time, chuck it.
21% is crazy.
Childs of people who fake like they gonna shoot it
before the buzzer go off in wait,
so they say they feel good percentage
of this shooter afterwards.
Oh, I learned that quick.
Yeah.
I start throwing to rookies here.
Josh McConey.
It'd be crazy watching these niggas hoop in,
like you see some, this nigga shooting 21%,
but you put him in like a regular YMCA gym,
this nigga fuck around, won't miss a damn shot.
That's kind of all.
That's why I be telling people everybody can shoot,
but when you only get one or two shots a game,
when you a rookie second year player
and you miss both them bitches,
niggas be like, niggas you shot 10% on the year.
He be like, bitch I shot two shots a game.
Fuck you.
Steph Curry got 17,000.
He took 10,000 more shots than me.
As he should.
Yeah, definitely.
That nigga's putting that hoe up.
Reggie, Reggie put that bitch up.
17,500?
God damn, he's aiming Lillard.
My boy getting that hoe up.
Uh huh, and more on the way.
Shout out to my dog.
I didn't know you shot 15,000 already.
It's crazy Ray Allen made that many threes. I'm like, what's going on? I'm like, what's going on? I'm like, what's going on? I'm like, what's going on? I'm like, what's going on? I'm like, what's going on?
I'm like, what's going on?
I'm like, what's going on?
I'm like, what's going on?
I'm like, what's going on?
I'm like, what's going on?
I'm like, what's going on?
I'm like, what's going on?
I'm like, what's going on?
I'm like, what's going on?
I'm like, what's going on?
I'm like, what's going on?
I'm like, what's going on?
I'm like, what's going on?
I'm like, what's going on?
I'm like, what's going on?
I'm like, what's going on?
I'm like, what's going on?
I'm like, what's going on?
I'm like, what's going on?
I'm like, what's going on?
I'm like, what's going on?
I'm like, what's going on?
I'm like, what's going on?
I'm like, what's going on? I'm like, what's going on? I'm like, what's going on? I'm like, what's going on? I'm like, what's going on? I'm like, what's going on? Taylor in his career was a shooter, but he was a slasher as well. He went to shoot threes. That wasn't even they thing though.
But like, that's crazy.
That's crazy bro.
Reggie got some FGAs up bro.
I put some more respect on Damn Wheeler.
Niggas got damn fucked up bro.
Nah, nah, they ain't like that.
But look how many more three staff got than everybody.
800.
It's still going.
That nigga got my whole career more than everybody else.
Nah, legit.
That's crazy.
Shout out to those two boys.
That's an 09 draft right there, one and two.
I'm proud of y'all boys, man.
That's hard.
Shout out to Wardell.
Hey man, this game was crazy.
I said, Yocas had a triple WS state, 28, 14, 11.
And Peasy, 28.
Man, I need a jersey.
I ain't no, I been gassy, bro.
Norm Powell's on his run to be an All-Star, man.
I think that he had hit with that injury bug a little bit,
might've slowed him down, but what they are in the West,
what they are at the top.
They should be eight.
They play in.
They should be within eight.
Do James Harden make the All-Star team
if they in the playoff race?
James Harden has to make the All-Star team, bro. So playoff race? James Hart has to make the All-Star team, brother.
So he make it over Jalen Williams?
Yes.
Oh.
100%.
I don't like that.
Oh.
I don't like that.
That ain't fair.
Oh, yes it is.
They seven.
Oh yeah.
Yeah, he gotta be in playoffs.
Oh yeah, he's in there.
He gotta be in there.
You gonna pick him over Jalen Williams?
Number one seat.
You got plenty more years to go.
I'm nothing on Jalen Williams making over James Harden.
Go to James Harden.
That fan vote gonna be too much for Jay the Williams
to deal with, bro.
Let me see that.
Woo, he got him back, he get 2270.
That's off-star numbers, bro.
Yeah.
And he get that squad anywhere near as,
that's Jay.
Shout out to off-star, bro.
That's a new scrum of team over here, bro.
Wait, I mean, it's a close race. Bro, he filling up an arena for Steve Barber, bro. That deserves a new scrum of team over here, bro. I mean, it's a close race.
Bro, he's filling up an arena for Steve Barber, bro.
That deserves a lot, bro,
because he built that stadium
and thought he was gonna have Kawhi and PG
and he got James Hard right now.
Yeah, respect James.
He could, yeah, he could be the 2000.
You definitely, you're the third best two guard
of all time in my book, don't worry about it.
Aw, damn, here we go.
I ain't about to start it, just know that's how I feel.
I'm standing on that.
How old is he, here we go. I ain't about to start it, just know that's how I feel. I'm standing on that. How old is he?
36?
Yup.
No, I ain't gonna do that shit.
You don't do it?
No, I ain't gonna do it.
I am, fuck it.
He number three for me, 35.
Let's go, let's just do it.
Go, let's see what D-Wade was doing at 35.
D-Wade, well, you know what?
On the off the court. No, no, well, you know what? Was he still?
On the off the court.
No, no, no, just on the court.
Just on the court.
Just on the court.
35, at 35, what year was that for D Wade?
Was that Cleveland?
Nah, I think 35.
A lot of them niggas won good at 35, Cuddy.
He might've been in, he heat with Brian at 35.
You know D-Way was a little older than everybody.
He was.
He came in the league, damn they're don't connect.
Yeah, he was though.
For real.
So damn D-Way.
I don't know, we gotta get a chance to look at him.
10 years came in, 03, came in the 03 class, 2013.
Damn bro, he's old bro.
Yeah.
So D-Way might have still been killing.
Yeah, he might have been.
Because D-Way was 30 in 2013.
Math, math, we'll look it up for sure.
While we looking it up, Yocush, another crazy year man.
Yeah.
MVP?
MVP.
He on a run to be MVP, but right now my leading gear
is Jason Tatum and Donovan Mitchell.
And SGA right there too.
There we go.
Yeah, SGA, them three right there,
they kinda got it for me right now.
Y'all get, I'm gonna quit saying
he don't care about basketball,
cause obviously he do what he do.
He obviously care.
I just think other stuff he cares about too.
Most definitely, yeah.
And I think basketball just like, this is what I do.
This is my job.
I'm good at it, but I just love other shit too.
And some people are just obsessed with basketball.
For sure.
Listen man, speaking of Western Conference, man.
Number three in the West right now, the Grizzlies
came back yesterday against the Pacers.
They were down 19, got the dub 136 to 121.
Listen man, they won the last six games man,
three in the West.
You talking about Jive was gonna get here with revenge,
people overlooked him, people forgot about him.
He's making his impact, Phil.
Can't forget about Jive man.
Too special man, too special.
You have to smut off his name immediately, please.
Listen, I know it wasn't his game,
but I know y'all saw that that Oop he caught dog,
and as soon as he caught it,
everybody started having that conversation again.
Who was more athletic between him, Russ and D-Rose?
That's what that was.
I'm not changing my stance on it,
but that Oop he caught where he jumped
and looked at the rim, bro.
My guy D-Rose, I watched that nigga put,
look in the rim and dunk on a nigga.
What's his name?
Droggy.
Or a droggy with two.
Yeah, filthy.
But Joss, he's a freak athlete too.
I mean, the thing about the difference between them two
is like when you see D-Rose, the way he was built,
it was like, all right, that's a running back.
Joss, look at him, he's super skinny.
He dumb athletic body. D rolls, it's crazy.
Now that's different, bro.
His, damn, man.
He like fly like a YouTube person.
Nah, straight up.
Like you don't expect that from him.
And like when he jump, it's like, what the fuck?
And to me, I think it's like he'll jump,
but then he'll cock the ball back so far.
It's like, bro, that's crazy, bro.
That you could just fly like that for sure.
Yeah, special.
Nah, for sure.
Jaren Jackson Jr., man.
DPOY candidate.
How y'all feel about that?
Yeah.
He be holding it down.
I'm gonna share it with Ja, man.
It's the only reason he getting that.
I've never seen, seriously, I've never seen somebody need they n***a that bad, bro.
It's a key, bro. He definitely only plays well. For seriously, bro, I've never seen somebody need they nigga that bad, bro. It's a killer, bro.
He definitely only plays well when just.
For real, bro.
Cause Desmond Bayne's still the producer.
You know what I'm saying?
He going through a little slump right now,
but usually Desmond Bayne is still produced regardless,
but yeah, he's a totally different player.
Bro, it's crazy, bro.
He needs, he needs Jai.
He needs Jai to kill, bro.
The Jai stimulus is real.
Marcus, Marcus, my boy Marcus is back.
Marcus Smart, he been playing well for them too.
He gives them that Dillon Brooks kind of energy.
A little different player.
Who better?
Dillon Brooks or Marcus Smart?
Yep.
Today I say Marcus Smart two years,
I mean Dillon Brooks two years ago, I say Marcus Smart.
Yeah, I think Marcus Smart was better in Boston,
but for this role, I think Dillon Brooks
a better player than Market Smart for this role.
Okay.
Market Smart, point guard.
And he playing with John Moran, who's a point guard.
It's a little different role.
Yeah.
I told him it was Market Smart, like 6'4".
Yeah.
Okay.
6'3", 6'4".
So it's a different role.
But he fit the way that they play so perfectly.
Like you said, like he'll get after you.
He gonna full court press you, you know what I'm saying?
He gonna get grimy with it.
I like him for that team.
I think he's definitely what they need.
They still need a wing to me to compete in the West.
But I like the way the team is built, bro.
Especially when Jai healthy,
everybody game sliders is on the way up.
Yeah, Jai, that's crazy that they play like that.
It's like me on 2K.
When I'm on the team, it's like a guaranteed win.
Your mouth?
Yeah, when I'm not on the team, Malk struggle.
You know what I mean?
He can't carry the team, but when I'm out there,
when I'm there, it's like everything's better.
Malk Triple J.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Damn.
He's Jaren Jackson Jr. without me, bruh.
I'm the driver of our team, man.
But the thing is, I play Dylan Brooks position.
So I don't even know how this works.
Yeah, well Kenan, C-Mark is smart.
Kenan, yeah.
You know what?
Kenan, he's effective.
As long as Bird ain't playing with us.
Shout out to Bird.
But if Bird and Kenan on the same team,
we probably gonna lose.
The 2K chemistry is hilarious.
Cause they similar players, they both shoot threes and cut,
and then they be cutting at the same time and,
mouth quit, then we got called with.
It just get crazy.
Oh, since we on 2K, is this somebody that, you know,
y'all can shout them out if y'all want to.
Is this somebody that y'all haven't beaten
that plays 2K that y'all know is like super cold?
Like who the coldest nigga on 2K?
The super cold, I played a couple of YouTubers,
but I don't remember.
But the game, we had a real good game against the gang.
I think they beat us by one right now.
Yeah, he hit like a hook shot or some bullshit.
Oh, so he cold at the game?
I don't even know if that's him playing.
But they playing on his account.
I'm questioning if that's him.
I don't wanna know if that's him.
He calling me smug.
I ain't allowed when he's smuggling up.
Now when we got in the chat, he like,
get your team, nigga. You know how he talks.
I'm like, it might be him, but I don't know if he,
he'd be on that motherfucker all day.
Whoever it is, they don't lead the game.
I get up, we go on there right now, but I guarantee you he on it.
Having a ghost rider for two kids crazy.
I hope that's him though.
But he was also, I remember him being really, really cold
and mad too, so he might just be like that. He might be. But hope that's him though. But he was also, I remember him being really, really cold at Madden too. So he might just be like that.
He might be.
He might do some investigation.
But he on there though.
Sure.
The Pacers, it is what it is.
Also, hey, shout out to my Detroit fans,
the Pistons fans, all y'all, an apology.
I called y'all poverty franchise a couple of weeks ago
and y'all beat our ass on Friday.
They blamed me for the shit.
I told y'all, I did not tell y'all Detroit was on to something.
Shout out to K. Gunn and him.
Yeah, but I'm nothing.
And then shout out to ref over there.
Like no disrespect, bro.
DJ said on this one.
I did man, and I love Detroit, one of my favorite cities,
but you know what I'm saying?
Since Mouse and the Palace, it ain't been no love,
but I gotta say, we need to do what y'all did
and get a new coach.
Rick need to get up out of here.
It's always fire Rick.
Last year Rick was a genius.
No, no he wasn't.
And I hate that.
I hate that we won last year because we couldn't fire Rick.
I've hated Rick the last two years.
Go away.
Bro, y'all need a new team, bro.
Y'all not it.
Miles, get out of there, King.
For real, bro.
They don't love you.
They don't love you, bro.
Retweet, retweet, Miles get out of here.
Literally.
No, I don't do that.
No, see, see, see.
Last year he was defensive player of the year
in my book.
Now all of a sudden.
And I don't know why you said that
because he was not defensive player of the year.
Well he averaged like three blocks or something last year.
He did.
I said that and y'all put a spot on my name for that.
I feel like he averaged like three blocks last year.
But see Miles, look how these Pacer fans
is turning on you.
Miles, turn that Fantasia on the way to office
this morning, brother.
Appreciate you.
We're going through some things right now.
We gotta figure it out, man.
We gotta go.
Why Tyrese don't wanna shoot the ball, man?
What's going on?
I don't know, bro.
It's, I don't know.
That was weird.
Cause Friday night, this business, bro, he was just fine.
Wanted to shoot the ball.
I don't know what it was.
Oh, you got zapped, bro.
For real.
Probably. It's the Jews. Yeah, I've been here. I was at the game, man. Shout out to the people Ied to shoot the ball. I don't know what it was. I don't know what it was. You got zapped, bro. For real. Probably.
It's the Jews.
Yeah, I've been here.
I was at the game, man.
Shout out to the people I see.
We were at the game.
They said my boy need to get back in the Kobe's.
You need that mama mentality.
Yeah, I don't know, man.
But I think that Puma bag make him feel better at night.
And I can understand why.
Nah, we ain't blaming.
I love Puma.
LaMelo rocking out.
Yeah, some Pumas.
Got them in the little flares.
Yeah, I want some LaMelo's
because the way that motherfucker scoring that bow.
Hey, we ain't putting that on the bread.
Everybody's who I've been wearing,
the Aaron Fox be killing.
I need some LaMelo's.
Tyrese, just get your shit together, King.
That's it.
This is your main guy over here.
Shit's spooky.
Don't worry about it.
And I told y'all,
that Milwaukee Bucks,
they coming back around.
Aw, I knew that.
I knew that. I never gave up Hope on them. Sixers, they coming back around. I knew that. I knew that.
I never gave up hope on them.
Sixers I gave up hope.
Sixers I had gave hope up.
Make sure y'all have that same smoke.
All you Patrons fans, even DJ ass.
We on the way back.
Fear the deer.
Don't worry.
Fear the deer.

He said, he had a video.
He said, run the video.
I'm blocking you, nigga. Lethal on your tail, bro. Paul, boy. He said, I can't. He said, run the video. I was trying to run a guy. I'm blocked. I'm blocking you, big head.

He said, I can't do this in real life.
They said, I can't do it off the pool.
He was a hard ass pull up every time.
He was spraying the dude.
I was like, damn.
I ain't why you ain't tag me, because I'm blocked.

Hey, Franz Wagner should be an all-star, without doubt.
That's light.
Without a doubt, he should be an all-star.
We ain't gotta talk about him.
100%.
He joined my band list too.
The last two times I put money on Franz,
he's played in my face, so you know what I'm saying?
It's still up for that.
That's nuts.
Cam Johnson.
Special bro.
He back.
It's time for him to get traded.

And he's used to playing in the culture basketball.
Yeah, he'll come in if it's.
Listen, the Knicks secure Puck just like 1885.
You got a rule, under a hundred points you suck.
The Pelicans had 28 at halftime.
Right, in the ass.
It was just, come on, go ahead B.I.
I see it's time for you to get out of there.
Yeah, sly.
I've seen Utah, won't you?
You weren't gonna sign that extension, smart man.
You don't need to be in Utah, that ain't your vibes.
Sly.
But it's time for you to move on, brother.
The Pelicans need to get rid of everybody.
Zion included.
Zion, it's time to go.
You don't even wanna play basketball
for real out there no more.
He gonna come back for another team picture
and shape Happy as hell.
Yeah, like he don't wanna be out there.
I think he gonna kill somewhere else.

The Raptors beat the Heat yesterday, 119-116.
Really good game yesterday.
RJ Berryman, kill it.
I gotta put some respect on RJ.
37 to seven, bro.
He's having a hell of a bounce back year, man.
Yeah, they put a lot of smoke on his name
leaving New York last year.
I mean, him playing back at home,
I know they don't get a lot of attention,
but I think that's what he needed.
And he's starting to become a player
that we thought about when he was at Duke.
For sure. I'm hyped for him. And you know something to become a player that we thought about when he was at Duke. For sure.
I'm hyped for him.
And you know something, he dealt with some crazy losses
this year, lost a sibling.
So shout out to him, bouncing back,
having to work with thought
till he even get to it like that for sure.
They've been talking about the Heat all years,
most consistent player, Tyler Hero, 31 yesterday.
You said it, keeping him in South Beach.
My favorite white boy, bro.
Go where you celebrated, bro.
Not where you tolerated, bro.
He celebrated out there.
I don't know, man. Told y'all, man, let my boy go, man. Pat Riley said, ain't nobody celebrated celebrated, bro. Not where you tolerated, bro. He celebrated out there. I don't know, man.
Told y'all, man.
Let my boy go, man.
Pat Riley said, ain't nobody celebrated here, bro.
If you don't get no banners, watch your mouth.
That's how he feel.
That's how he talk, for sure.
Nah, I respect it, though.
And Pat can say that, though.
He talk like that to Jimmy, and I think that's crazy,
but he like, bro.
Nah, it's real talk, though.
But y'all think Jimmy should leave, though, before?
Pat for sure get the statue.
Oh, for sure. No statue. Oh for sure.
No they already said it.
Send Pat before uh.
Send Pat.
I mean not Pat, send Jimmy away.
Oh yeah, Jimmy about to be gone.
Yeah Jimmy gotta go.
Jimmy, yeah he gonna be leaving.
To where though, where would y'all put him?
That's Wild'N Out, send him to Cleveland.
Wild.
Wild. Now we winning the championship. No they lit. Wild'N Out ain't That's Wild Out, send him to Cleveland. Wow. Wow.
Now we winning the championship.
They lit.
Wild Out ain't mad at that, they lit.
We winning the chip.
You got another closer with Don,
another capable defender, somebody else
who ain't scared to guard,
either one of them most importantly,
as far as me, and able to as well,
that'll put them in win mode now.
I don't like it though.
I don't like it though.
Cause the chemistry-
He might rock the ball up,
because he played hard, but I like Donva Mitchell He might rock the ball up. Because he played hard,
but I like Donovan Mitchell being the leader of that group.
And I think Cam Johnson, he kinda,
he low maintenance, mild manner.
Low maintenance is a good word to use in a situation.
Jimmy go come in there with a blowout
and they're gonna be like, all right, bro.
They'll be good, cause they gonna have some, yeah.
But who you gonna put the ball, who you want the ball
to have in the fourth quarter,
who you want to have a ball in the fourth quarter,
Jimmy or Donovan Mitchell?
And it's like, Jimmy's a great closer.
We know that Donovan Mitchell's growing
to be a great closer.
So you might have that little controversy like.
Yeah, you don't know if Jimmy ready to sacrifice yet.
Yeah, cause Jimmy ain't gonna walk in there
and be like, this is the Dimeb team.
Not yet.
I mean, he would though,
cause I seen him do it with Minnesota.
Like he was like, this is cat team.
It didn't work out long, but he said it.
He said it.
He did it with Philly.
If cat was a dog to him, to Jimmy, he would've.
Yeah, he did it in Philly with Joel, so.
But I wonder if he got that respect,
cause you know, they wanted to get Dimeb Mitchell in Miami. So wonder if he got that respect, because they wanted to get Donovan Mitchell in Miami.
So maybe if he got that type of respect,
it could probably work out.
They probably like each other.
We don't even know them off the court.
They probably cool.
Sure.
Might work, I don't know.
I just think it's far for Donovan Mitchell
to be in a conversation now,
because I know that he got a lot of smut in Utah for that,
but shout out to Don.
Hey, seen your shoes, brother.
You supposed to see it.
Oh yeah, yeah, all-star.
It's a new all-star on the way, brother.
You supposed to be. You be delinquent, brother.
We supposed to be.
We've been waiting for the last Don's.
I like these new ones.
They all right.
We can't even put that on JR.
We're going to do it anyway.
In the aftermath of a transformative election
like the one we just had, it's hard to read the news
without asking yourself, every five seconds,
how did we get here?
That's exactly what we're always trying
to figure out on Fiasco, a history podcast from the co-creators of Slow Burn. In our first season,
Bush v Gore, we examine an unmistakable turning point in American politics, the 2000 election,
which came down to a recount in Florida and ended with one of the most controversial rulings
in Supreme Court history. In many ways, it's the beginning of the story we're living through right now.
So if you're trying to make sense at the present moment,
check out Fiasco, Bush v. Gore, and find out
how a statistical tie in the Florida vote count
put the nation into an unprecedented holding pattern,
during which American voters waited with bated breath
to find out whether Al Gore or George W. Bush
would be the next president of the United States.

The forces shaping markets and the economy are often hiding behind a blur of numbers. So that's why we created The Big Take from Bloomberg Podcasts,
to give you the context you need to make sense of it all.
Every day in just 15 minutes, we dive into one global business story that matters.
You'll hear from Bloomberg journalists like Matt Levine.
A lot of this meme stock stuff is, I think, embarrassing to the SEC.
Amanda Moll, who writes our Business Week buying power column.
Very few companies who go viral are like totally prepared for what that means.
And Zoe Tillman, senior legal reporter.
Courts are not supposed to decide elections.
Courts are not really supposed to play a big role in choosing our elected leaders.
That's for the voters to decide.

Fake Paul. The movie is The Apprentice and the movie is about young Donald Trump and his apprentice Roy Cohen, real character, obviously both real characters.
It kind of has a Scarface vibe to it,
which I thought was very interesting.

Lakers took care of the Jazz yesterday, 105 and 104.
Did y'all see the end of that game yesterday?
No, what happened?
Man, basically, college 16 was in a position,
you know what I'm saying, go ahead, bucket time,
and Will Hardy caught the time
out the head coach of the Jazz.
About one second, 1.4 left,
and they were just like, why would you do that, basically?
Young, you know, young coach made a mistake, it's all good.
I've done that a couple times, my second year.
You make mistakes.
Yeah, that's what happens in that game.
Cause it was a close game, obviously.
So it's more about the Lakers than it does the Jazz
to be in a competing situation with them.
But 80, 33, 11, LeBron 27 to 14.
LeBron is getting stats,
but he has looked like old man LeBron, man.
And nobody wants to say it, unfortunately.
I mean, shit, what, he 40?
Yeah. Shit. I don't know. I mean, shit, what, he 40? Yeah.
Shit.
I don't know.
I've only been carrying the league since I was 18.
Right.
22, nine, 22, eight, what's that, eight?
22, 18.
To see LeBron only averaging 22 is crazy.
But LeBron's, I don't know what he was about
these last months.
And them stats are fire as fuck.
He's top five in the sits, I believe, too.
It was crazy, if I would've averaged 22
any year in my life,
I would have told y'all nigga, I was that nigga.
The fact that we're disappointed LeBron.
This is a down year for me.
22.
That's crazy, bro.
That lets you know how great of a player he is.
He's still doing that, bro.
I don't even see him getting old.
I don't even look at it as old man buckets.
It's like, why can't y'all still guard this nigga?
They still going for the fake out.
Yeah, right.
Hardest move in basketball. Nah, that's out. Yeah. Hardest move in basketball.
Nah, that's a fact.
That's what I'm saying.
It's kind of wicked seeing him average that.
It is.
It is be weird seeing LeBron do a regular dunks now.
22,89.
You know what he did when his head
don't really get to the rim pulls.
And it's like, he dunking with all arm now.
Yeah, that was nuts.
My head is always at that.
You said Tho-Hars?
But look, like, Bron doing more dunking with the arm now.
He be like, I gotta dunk, and he rim grades him a little bit.
And people be feeling like they can, like,
Bradley Beal gonna block on the Bron boy in 2002,
but you would have never.
He hit a windmill with that thing.
But.
Damn, that's crazy though.
His dunk package is definitely down.
Yeah, he just got the JFTD dunk package there.
Oh, that's tough.
Man, like it's due Will, man.
Mavs took care of the Blades yesterday,
one third, seven to 131, eight of the last nine, man.
Mavs been going crazy, look at return,
but they've been winning without him.
But he showed why he was needed. 36 and 13 yesterday.
To return, again, 36 is crazy.
Some slight.
Off the pawn, a 36 is nuts.
Walk in the park situation.
Listen man, the Blazers, they competed yesterday.
Anthony Simons had so many fouls
in the first half yesterday, it was crazy.
But he dropped 24, if it's 27 in the third quarter yesterday.
He was cooking.
That boy, hey, we watched him.
We know that boy can shoot that ball.
He's special for sure.
Free that man, man.
He'd be another good trade candidate.
Like, he'd be good in Milwaukee.
He'd be good in some of these teams
that need somebody off the bench that can get buckets.
He'll get a bona fide score, he's one of those guys.
For sure, man.
Like you said, you don't gotta do much of him,
just get out the way and let him cook.
Quinn Grange, excuse me, had a great two last games.
He took care of the revenge game against the Knicks.
He had 28 last night against the Blazers, man.
Listen, like you talked about,
the team was constructed to help Luca.
The role players have been stepping up
like they're supposed to, even when he was out
helping Kyrie.
If they can keep playing like this,
as we ain't said, Clay name in a minute,
obviously we know what's going on with that.
But if they can figure that out
and keep contributing like that,
they're gonna be a problem in the West again.
What's the best part of Luca's offensive game?
His ability to create space.
He know how to create space.
He know how to use his body so well.
So he can always get to his step back
because he can create space.
But then when he drives, he know how to use his body
to create enough space where he can get any kind of shot off.
He's so slow and people still can't figure out
like how does he score, how does he get bombed?
He know how to use his body so well,
create space and make contact at the rim.
He a great finisher, Pauz, but like,
he just got an overall game and special
and it's all based off him being able to create space.
And Pauz, he big as hell.
Like that makes it even worse.
So he got all that, he know how to use his tempo.
Like you said, use his body will.
Bro, you can't guard that.
I was started, Nick, when his rookie year,
he was starting at the point that Wesley Matthews
was at the two, I think.
But somehow I started the game off of him.
The game started, I said, what the fuck?
He went straight to the block.
I'm like, this ain't gonna work.
D-Rose switched.
I'm like, D-Rose, I got him, I got him.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, he gonna take that.
He went to the post, though.
D-Rose was like, hey man.
Somebody else gotta guard him, man.
I was like, what the fuck?
Damn.
He too big, bro.
That's crazy, man.
Mad was doing it like they supposed to.
Spurs, the character kings yesterday, 127, 25, a lot of close games yesterday, man.
Wimby, trippy dub with 34.
This shit Wimby.
He's starting to round on his.
He's starting to figure it out again.
The 11 assists part is what stood out for me.
Obviously I ain't numb to you getting 34 and 11,
but 11 assists as a big, yeah bro.
He's starting to figure it out.
We gotta, I gotta call my Kings guys, man.
I don't know what's going on.
Especially getting 11 assists on that team.
That's a hell of a game.
What you trying to say?
Hot ass, this pool.
That's the mad ass over there.
No, don't do them bad, man.
For real, bro.
Yeah, they develop it for sure.
Yeah.
All right, man, couple games tonight.
See how y'all feeling.
Heat at Celtics, where y'all going?
Damn, that's a good game.
Heat, heat at Celtics, yeah heat.
Going with the heat, okay.
My Hawks been playing better too.
What we in the East right now?
Y11, I got the Celtics, I got JT with a big game.
They bounce him back, he killed yesterday too.
We ain't need to talk about it.
Slight 33, Pelicans at Hawks, woo.
We East, seventh season of the East right now, man.
Hey, the East is spooky.
I told y'all, I hate the East.
You are a three game win streak
from being out of the playoffs to the top of the East.
It's kind of crazy.
That is wild.
Like man, we playing well right now
in Jalen Johnson doing what we do.
Trey starting to, East they always play is great.
I mean, his stats are already great,
but they starting to round him to a cool team, man.
Jalen Johnson should be an all-star.
He probably won't make it this year.
But he deserves to be an all-star.
He does, he's getting numbers for sure, he hooping.
So you taking the Hawks in this game?
For sure.
I got them too.
They're looking square 85 points.
Yeah, I got the Hawks.
And they went out last night.
Damn, I got that, De'Jontay Murray and my damn parlay.
He is.
Aw, he about to go crazy though.
He playing the hogs. Revenge game.
He probably gonna get 30.
Yeah, I got him hot tonight.
Nets at Bulls.
Nets. Nets.
I'm talking to nets.
Lakers at Timberwolves.
Let's talk about them Timberwolves.
If we had a chance to talk about them T-wolves.
Or me!
What we got today?
And they were saying, yoall wanna know why we suck?
I'll tell you.
Yeah, he was wild.
I told y'all though, that locker room though,
I figured that's what it was.
I figured.
Lost himself in basketball.
Yeah, he don't, he miss Kat, bro.
He misses dog.
The vibes was different, I knew it.
Cause Kat allowed him to be him,
they all knew each other.
They all had years together. You know, that first year Kat was, I mean, Aunt him, they all knew each other. They all had years together.
You know, that first year Cat was,
I mean, Aunt came, they was sad.
So they grew together.
They all knew, got comfortable with one another.
Everybody let Aunt be the man.
It's different, JR come over there and shit.
Talk about it.
We the man too now.
I'm trying to solidify myself around here too.
And Dante, you know, he ain't happy at all.
I don't, I ain't talk to him,
but just from the way he been playing, the way it look,
he ain't wanna leave New York.
Yeah.
So basically we need to go ahead and, you know what I'm saying,
look for the trade options,
because I don't think they want to take this year
as a watch and you can't have your starters, Grendel.
When you start talking like that, changes gotta get made.
I don't know how soon, but something gotta change.
Yeah, Mike probably frustrated too.
Losing Kyle Anderson hurt them too.
Yeah, for sure.
He's another locker room guy,
another good player for them.
Him and Nas was a really, really good
front court to have for sure.
Yeah.
Bust them up, bro.
Pause, like, get the, start over, man.
Yeah, that's kinda tough to go off of
Western Conference Finals trip to, you know what I'm saying,
making some would say almost an ill of our trades.
And now it's like, all right, now those trade pieces
that I got, I can't even move nowhere else, cause.
You gotta go out, you gotta thug it out
the rest of the year.
Hopefully they catch a stride for sure, but I'm saying.
They probably gonna catch a little momentum.
I think JR, I don't think Julius Randall
and Anthony Davin saw the problem.
I think they probably cool.
They just probably don't play well together.
But I think they probably cool off the court.
It's like all the other pieces I think.
So listen man, where are five buckets be him
who was getting tool yesterday?
Gotta get with the old school man.
I call him Jimmy Harden man.
He 39, 11.
That's a crazy name, Jimmy Hard. Yeah, that's what I call him man. Jimmy Harden, man. He 39, 11. That's a crazy name, Jimmy Harden.
Yeah, that's what I call him, man.
Jimmy Harden, bro.
Oh, my God.
Damn, freak monster.
I didn't hear Harden.
I was like, that's an interesting name.
Hey, and hold on.
This is, you know, shout out to the Verified Bucket.
You know, we love that segment of the show,
but have something I want to say.
Okay, yeah.
So the person who clicked me, Trey Songz, and Diddy up
and put that on the internet,
and had us like, basically like,
the Hendrix Experience birthday bash,
you out of pocket.
Tyrone Crowe.
I was gonna say, I think we know who did it, dude.
You out of pocket, brother.
Not the Tyrone, he out of pocket,
that's a nasty pics dish. Yeah, bro, they did me dirty, but. Not the tarot, he out of pocket. That's a nasty picture.
Yeah, bro, they did me dirty.
That's quality work right there.
Somebody know the truth.
Chill out, bro.
I'll never be in a room with them two diggits, bro.
You know, in body and spirit.
I'ma go old school Fred Van Flea, man, 38 piece.
Show them why you good, bro.
Fred ain't no old, yo.
That old Fred like 31. Not Fred, bro. Pret ain't no old, yo. I don't fret like 31.
I'm not afraid of young.
He just look old.
You look like you been through a lot.
My very five bucket is to my guy out there in Canada,
up north what they call it, with the teens.
Since Drake been down bad, RJ Bird even picked it up.
Shout out to RJ Bird, getting 37, no lawsuits.
Girls, I don't know how much he picked up for the team,
but it was another fumble.
Shout out to RJ, he killin' for sure.
Yeah.
Your favorite segment of the show be here.
Who needs some encouragement this Monday morning?
Get well soon.
Man, for sure it goes to Trevor Lawrence, bro.
That was dirty.
Yeah, we not even gonna joke about that.
Trevor Lawrence got killed yesterday.
We talked about it a little bit on the podcast
since dropping the day at 12,
but Trevor Lawrence got smacked yesterday, bro.
If y'all playing football, is that y'all last day?
Y'all my mama.
What?
Heal and safety protocols.
But we saw the CTE happen to him, bro, in live motion, bro.
They're gonna go back and be like,
this is where it happened, bro.
This was the inception, bro.
That's some bullshit, dude.
That was a dirty ass hit, bro.
I don't care what nobody, that's a dirty ass hit, man. He out of pocket, bro. That was crazy. And they started squabbling after that inception, bro. That's some bullshit, dude. That was a dirty ass hit, bro. I don't care what nobody, that's a dirty ass hit, man.
He got out of pocket, bro.
That was crazy.
And they started squabbling after that shit, too.
That was just like hell, man.
They should, man.
That was fucked up.
I didn't mean to cuss like that, but that was concerning.
Yeah, and especially in the sport.
Like, you know what I'm saying?
You chief show somebody at basketball,
you're gonna get up and play the next position.
Football, that's life-altering type shit, for real.
Yeah, bro, y'all ain't see dude die, damn near die,
from that black school. You ain't seen me in the hospital, everybody was saying he died. Yeah bro, you all ain't see dude die, damn near died from that black school.
You ain't seen me in the hospital,
everybody was saying he died.
Yeah, they put out that report.
Yeah, he's like, you know, life support.
Now, I'm not too sure if this is true or not,
but I did believe that he did end up passing away,
unfortunately, a couple days later.
But they put that report out.
Please fact check me on this, I'm not 100% correct.
I don't wanna put no death on nobody who ain't gone.
But they had put out that he was gone
before he was gone, which was crazy.
But it came from football.
Yeah.
It's a dangerous foot.
Getting hit and then like see shit like that.
You like, bro, you can kill that man.
You wildin', bro.
Yeah, completely out of pocket, man.
That's why my kids, yeah, they gon' play.
I ain't gon' play.
Put it all on line.
Yeah.
Go get him, pocket.
He didn't pass away. Unfortunately, yeah, R. R, put him in. And don't let him and his family play. Nah're like, put it all on line. Go get him, Tiger. He didn't pass away?
Yeah, unfortunately, yeah.
R.P. and him, man.
And don't sister him and his family.
Nah, yeah, for sure.
Well, that's crazy.
Like, did you put that out before the family?
I can imagine a mix of emotions
they had to deal with seeing that report,
especially with it being so ill-advised.
That's crazy, man.
Yeah, facts.
So, my good boy, some Ghost of the Wizards.
They didn't win a game in November.
Free air body.
Free air body, bro.
They smoked, I don't care.
I know them hotel hallways, it's lit.
Good weed.
Boy.
All you hear is heels running down the hallway.
Mm, homie, it cracks.
Crazy.
In DC, home games, litty.
Oh, the clubs are lit in DC right now.
Them niggas, man.
Jordan Poole. Free my dog, man, free JP. Yeah, right now. Them niggas, man. Jordan Poole.
Free my dog, man, free JP.
Yeah, man, get them outta there, man.
They might be the worst franchise in the NBA.
Oh, that's clear.
They might be the worst.
That's clear.
I thought it was Toronto,
but they have been the worst team for a long time.
The Wizards been bad, man.
I don't think the Wizards had a good year
since John Wallinum played us in,
what was that?
The Eastern Conference Monals?
Did we play John Wallenum?
No.
No, the Semis.
The Semis against us.
They weren't in the Conference Monals, but yeah.
They ain't been good since like maybe 17, 18.
And that's why John Wall deserves all the respect
that he gets as a legend in that city.
Him and Brad Beal, but especially John Wall
put a lot of buckets, so they had a lot of great season
and they was accustomed to.
I know Gil had it going for a second as well,
but John Wall had the city lit.
They was a 50 win team a couple of times,
and obviously it's hard to come by in that city for sure.
Best wizard ever, bro.
Outside of MJ.
Damn!
Who, John Wall?
Yeah.
I mean, Weston also, hold on a minute.
I had that jersey.
Yeah, he probably the greatest wizard.
You going John Wall over Gilbo?
Yeah. Over Gil?
Yeah.
I think John Wall run was longer.
Yeah, longer, longer run.
Interesting.
Player, I'm a, it's tough, both of them fast.
I don't know.
Gil more dynamic, but I can't say that
because John Wall is special too.
Give me John.
I'm a, I think- As a wizard. I think Wes, until it John Wall is special too. Give me John. As a wizard.
I think Wes Untzul was the best wizard ever.
I'm gonna take John Wall second
and then I'm gonna go with my dog, Gil, third.
I forgot about a young Chris Weber.
Them niggas look older than a bitch.
Who, Wes Untzul?
Just all them niggas, man.
Bernard King, them niggas was 20.
Bernard King was 21 in that picture.
That nigga dude look like he 46.
I'm ready to show Nate Thurman when he was 25.
Bruh!
That nigga looked at 44.
That was them Afros, bro.
It was the hair loss in the Afros.
I was like, this nigga look. Oh, that was crazy.
I hate this guy, was at Planet Pepsi job, bro.
Pulled up the hoop.
He is, 25, ain't no damn way.
70s was crazy.
The fact that women used to rock them Afros too is nuts.
Oh, right.
They used to be a vibe.
Shout out to Florida Epis.
Yeah, Afros was weak.
Not cranking up bitches with no fro.
Afros hella weak.
The way we fro the Florida Epis, bro.
Florida Epis, damn was weak. Get a bitch, cut that off. I was watching good times the other day when they took the dad off
and the new nigga was trying to marry her.
Damn, that's how it be too.
I was like, this is an ugly show.
Yeah, it ain't the same, bro.
There's ugly people on that show.
J.J. was ugly.
I don't know these people dead, but all of them was ugly.
Yeah, they was trash.
Those were trash cats.
Yeah, I was like, I'm gonna go to the bathroom.
I was like, I'm gonna go on that show. JJ was ugly.
I don't know these people dead, but all of them was ugly.
Yeah, they was trash.
Those were trash castings.
Yeah, both.
The casting was telling the record company,
we're going to find the ugliest black people
and put them on TV.
This is what life looked like.
We wasn't that ugly, fam.
Bill Cosby cast was solid.
Yeah, that was an early cast.
He had a variety.
He had a political shot.
The shot looked great. But look at this cast. They was ugly. He had a cast. He had a variety. He had a variety.
Ashad looked great, but look at this guy.
Ooh.
That was ugly.
Look at that fro.
Look at that.
That shit was ugly.
Did he pass away?
Yeah.
He ugly.
Oh God.
John R.I.P.
He just passed away.
He obviously look the same.
Remember old girl, the youngster called him on the aisle
and said he went to the scene
and she put that thing on him.
Shout out to Mike.
That's him?
Ah, he out of pocket.
Hey, man, nigga, Lord.
Damn, who was that?
Thelma.
Damn, Thelma.
Thelma was cool.
What?

You know what that is.
Janet Jackson, pressure.

On the podcast, we gonna have to go through a power rankings
of the undercats, at least some of these shows.
I know, but I just wanna ask y'all,
Janet Jackson or Jennifer Lopez?
Hey, love, what are we talking about?
Well, I mean, yeah, for him.
Yeah, he's a racist.
Jenna Jackson is, for her to be that old, bro,

She is, but she kept changing her nose.
Yeah, she played with it too much.
Yeah, if she would've kept her nose
after Nutty Professor, if she would've kept her nose after Nutty Professor, if she would have kept her nose
from Nutty Professor, she would have straight.
Facts, she's raw.
When she kept going, like, she chopped the motherfucker off.
J-Lo was different.
Yeah, it got a little bit different later in the years
for her.
Yeah, I'm cool.
But Young Janet was like, Mike playing in my face right now.
That's the type of nigga, he always do that.
He did that with the Megan Thee Stallion
and Beyonce thing too.
