Starting point is 00:00:00 It's nostalgia overload as Wilmer Valderrama and Freddy Rodriguez welcome another amigo to their podcast Dos Amigos. Wilmer's friend and former That 70s Show castmate Topher Grace stops by the Speakeasy for a two-part interview to discuss his career and reminisce about old times. We were still in that place of like what will this experience become and you go you're having the best time but it was like such a perfect golden time. Listen to Dos Amigos on the iHeartRadio app, Apple podcasts or wherever you get your podcasts. And the dream season is now complete. The Golden State
Starting point is 00:00:34 Warriors are the 2015 NBA champions. On the new limited podcast series Dub Dynasty, it's been 10 years since their shocking run to a championship. We examine the controversial move that made it possible. It's never a great conversation as a player when you hear that you're being benched. For the entire behind the scenes story of Golden State's incredible 10 year run, listen to Dub Dynasty on the iHeart radio app, Apple podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
Starting point is 00:01:03 I'm Michael Kassin, founder and CEO of 3C Ventures and your guide on Good Company, the podcast where I sit down with the boldest innovators shaping what's next. In this episode, I'm joined by Anjali Sood, CEO of 2B. We dive into the competitive world of streaming. What others dismiss as niche, we embrace as core. There are so many stories out there, and if you can find a way to curate and help the right person discover the right content, the term that we always hear from our audience is that they feel seen.
Starting point is 00:01:34 Listen to Good Company on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. In the fall of 1986, Ronald Reagan found himself at the center of a massive scandal that looked like it might bring down his presidency. It became known as the Iran-Contra affair. The things that happened were so bizarre and insane, I can't begin to tell you. Please do. To hear the whole story, listen to Fiasco, Iran Contra on the iHeartRadio app, Apple podcasts or wherever you get your podcasts. The volume. Okay, before the game, JJ Reddy stormed out of the presser after a question about substitution.
Starting point is 00:02:31 He took offense to a question that basically asked if he would lean on his assistant coaches when it comes to helping with substitution. Are you saying that because I'm inexperienced and that it was inexperienced decision that I made You don't think I talked to my sisters about substitutions every single time out. That's a weird assumption He stormed out. I would have stormed out too Yes, I have no choice. Yes. I talked to my sisters. Hell my sisters know too. We don't have a choice How many times let me ask you a question O times, let me ask you a question, Ocho. Let me ask you a question, Ocho.
Starting point is 00:03:08 How many times have JJ Reddick been a coach in the NBA? I think that's a very valid question because he is an experienced as a coach. You know what? And it's all he had to do because if he leaned on his coaches, yes, I leaned on my coaches. That's a part of like when we have a time
Starting point is 00:03:24 when we're together, out, we group together. So what do you think? How does Rui look? How does Doe look? How does LeBron look? How does, first of all, that's LeBron and Luca is on, they already sent LeBron. At the six minute mark, you're coming out to get a blow for two to three minutes. We're gonna put you back in.
Starting point is 00:03:41 Luca, if it's really good and we're up 10 12 You might come out the last minute of the first quarter So that way we can still ahead of minute or so cuz we get to tie the TV time out So you get one minute there you get another minute or two there and then we gonna let you sit for four minutes So we gonna steal some time Everybody else is on a rotation like okay, hey pull him get it But I don't think you can't get mad when people ask you questions, Ocho. That's a part about being a coach. I understand it, even though being a coach, but also being a reporter is about watching the game. Also being a reporter is about understanding,
Starting point is 00:04:15 well hell, we are in a position, if I'm a Laker reporter, damn, we do got to keep Luke and him in there. We do got to have them play all four quarters because we not getting nothing. They don't look at the game like that, Ocho. My job is that my job is to ask you questions. What's going on? I understand. I'm just I'm just seeing it from the lens on both sides No, you see it from the lens of the player and you hit him said that somebody questioned the coach Yeah, I mean you right but I mean just you got to realize most of these reporters. Oh Joe have never played They've never been in the huddle. They've never had to sub. And so we look at, we athletes look at the game totally different than the layperson
Starting point is 00:04:52 or the casual fan, especially if we're professionals. We understand. Well, why you call that dumb play? You think I called it because I didn't want to get no yards? Hey, what's the play we got that's going to lose us four yards? Yep, call that one. Hey, what's that play that we got that's going to call Joe the Airball that shot and dribble the ball like a foul? Yeah, that's the play I want to run after this time out.
Starting point is 00:05:17 Of course not. Normally, your assistant coaches, and now it's a lot of them nowadays, but normally your assistant coaches stay in the head coaches area. You have a head assistant, and he keeps coaching tackers for us. Okay, look, all children been out there 12 straight minutes, we might need to give them a blow. You know what I mean?
Starting point is 00:05:36 So, normally your assistant is always an extension of the head and he normally. Probably Scotty Brooks, I'm thinking Scotty Brooks is his lead and then Nate is no. So they may'm thinking Scotty Brooks is his lead in that native. Yeah. So they may tell you like, well, I've got four files. You know what I mean? We can't we might want to take him out and give him a break.
Starting point is 00:05:53 So for him to go with them guys for that extended period of time, he probably just like forget it. Yeah, I don't think he had no trust in any of those guys coming off their bench. He felt he was gonna go with his big guns and he stuck with yeah Hey Well But as a but as a co-jo, but as a coach, you know this when it goes well your genius when it doesn't go Well, you're gonna get second guess. That's how it is. That's a that's a part of it
Starting point is 00:06:24 You know what somebody if somebody asked you you play. You know, if somebody asks you, you play a quarterback and somebody asks you what you saw, you can't say, I saw what you saw. I hope you didn't see what I see. Because I did. Look, in this down and distance, this area of the field, this is what they normally play. I thought I had this guy made a great play. You know, they study film too. They get paid. You do get up, you know, they're playing, they're playing other plans. I was quick to tell my coaches that I tell Mike that all the time.
Starting point is 00:06:56 I said, Hey, you know, that guy got paid too now, right? He picked up his check on Monday, just like I did. So don't think, Hey, I'm the only one getting paid and they just found this guy, he jumped on the back of a truck somewhere. Nah, bro, he in the NFL too. He here for a reason. Cause sometimes I think coaches real like, hey, and I tell this all the time, Joe, anybody in a professional league has the ability to make anybody else in a professional league look bad. I don't care if it's the best basketball, best basketball player against the, whatever somebody might think is the worst.
Starting point is 00:07:31 He still can light his ass up. A receiver that you like, who is this kid? Hold on. What game was that? Uh, Oh, lab. McConkey. Remember that playoff game? He will cook it on Chokey.off game? He was cooking. Don't you?
Starting point is 00:07:45 Cooking, boy. Yeah, anybody to business. You were cooking. Yeah. See, that's what I tell you. That's what I tried to tell Joe. What? That's what I tried to tell Joe. I tried to tell him. You know, you take one of the better athletes of all time. You know, I'm talking about me. Me playing you one on one. Oh, man. here we go. All right, you feel, hey listen, I'ma tell you, when I go by you, it's the reason why they call you Ike Sue
Starting point is 00:08:07 because you're gonna be by your damn self trying to go up. I'm not gonna tell you. I mean, this ain't, this ain't what you want. Okay, okay, okay. You're gonna need plenty of help, brother, trust me. You're gonna need plenty of help. Hey, you trust me. Once I get you out there in space,
Starting point is 00:08:23 at the top of the key is a wrap. I can get it. I put the ball on the floor and listen, I'm gonna get my shot. I'm gonna get to my spot. Me and Ray? I seen you play already. What you talking about? You may see me. Well, if you saw me play, you know you can't do nothing with me. In the words of Florida Evans, damn, damn, damn. Thank you for joining us for another episode of Nightcap.

Starting point is 00:10:51 Go get your tickets now. The Teen Wolves, knock out the Lakers. Guys, I was pressed for time. What I meant to say, Lakers going home in five. That's what I meant, but y'all, you know y'all. Y'all don't let me finish my songs, don't let me finish my sentences. Don't let me finish my sentences. If somebody would have told me, Joe,
Starting point is 00:11:09 that Ant-Man was gonna struggle shooting the ball tonight, and they were gonna win this game because Rudy Gobert was gonna be one of the few guys in a playoff game to have a 20-20 game, I would have said, okay, I like that. Rudy Gobert came into the game averaging three points and six rebounds on the night. And he gave you 27 and 24.
Starting point is 00:11:29 He gave you nine offensive rebounds. They had 18 offensive rebounds. They crushed the Lakers on the glass, 54 to 37. 18 to eight on the offensive end, 36 to 29 on the defensive end, for a total of 54 for the Wolves, 37 for the Lakers. And you get Ant-Man shooting five of 19 for 15 points. You got Jay and Daniel that was in foul trouble.
Starting point is 00:11:54 He ended up fouling out with only eight points. Mike Conley did hit a big three down the stretch, but he only had eight points. But again, it was the undoing of their bench. They got 22 points from their bench. The Lakers got four I'm gonna say this and i'm gonna turn it over to you joe jj stubborn
Starting point is 00:12:12 For him not to play Jackson Hayes to play maxi cleaver who hadn't played. I don't know the last time he played and you play him And a lot of these guys like and like i'm saying i'm not saying it would have made a difference But it's like you're not don't play the guy at all after Rudy because you put LeBron into four you're so small you're really really small cuz LeBron is six nine so LeBron is the tallest guy you got and Rudy just was playing tap tap tap tap tap what did you like how to how were the wolves able to win this game on and on the road in a hostile environment? I I think the T was really knew it was at stake tonight You know knowing that they want to try to go and get this over with you know the Lakers look so lethargic on to start
Starting point is 00:12:53 The game is like they did he would no sense of urgency He was had all the energy they had the sense of urgency as if they was on the brink You know what I mean, and they kind of controlled the whole entire game. It wasn't one time in the game that I thought the Lakers, you know, even though they made their little surge at the end of the trip, they had got a one-point lead. But I never felt threatened that they was going to win the game. I'm going to be honest. They just had no fluidity offensively,
Starting point is 00:13:19 no chemistry. It was just pick and roll, trying to exploit Braun in the post. And man, even though Ant-Man, he didn't shoot well, I thought he put a lot of pressure on those guys. And Rudy won the game for you. This is why you probably put Dory and Fennie Smith at the five because you really want to eliminate Rudy. You want to get him to where he can't play.
Starting point is 00:13:38 He's bound to have a game like this to where he can win you a game. And tonight, I mean, man, everything was falling away from the lobs the putbacks just being aggressive Randall Probably I give him the game, but I know Rudy was special tonight But Randall they have no answer for him when they run the pick and roll and get a mismatch Even if they play great defense, he's still banging on one time getting to a great shot You know what I mean? So their interior just has no presence and we knew this coming into the playoffs we knew they had no interior presence and tonight though man they got worn out in
Starting point is 00:14:13 this series and the young T-Wolves took advantage man of a wounded animal because they didn't have. Ocho you were not talking about this Ocho I said Ocho they don't have a big. I said, if they run into somebody with a big that can punish them, we were looking at, I was looking at it from a standpoint, well, okay, if they run into a Yogi, or if they run in, and I'm trying to think of the big
Starting point is 00:14:37 that was in there, maybe if they run into Sink Shigga. But I wasn't thinking about Rudy Gobert because I don't think of Rudy Gobert as an offensive player. This was Rudy Rudy go bears 27 points playoff career high 24 rebounds playoff career high Don't you I'm gonna go I'm gonna let you have it out there players with at least 25 points in 20 rep and 20 rebounds on 75% field goal shooting how you like these names?
Starting point is 00:15:01 Shaquille O'Neal will Chamberlain Moses Malone whole grant West UMSL Rudy go bear Shaq MVP will four times MVP Moses three times MVP whole grant was a very important card to a championship in Chicago and in the at the Lakers West Unsell He just happened to be a rookie of the year and MVP in the same season, but also in the Hall of Fame Yeah. Yeah, I thought it was good. I thought it was great tonight. I thought Rudy was great He's in there with some of the greats now You know, and he gave the Lakers he gave him problems tonight. Okay, oh Joe, you know know they they had no when I thought he played great off of Randall and Edwards You know what I mean? Meaning by their aggression get into the basket whether it's him getting put They kind of got him going cuz he scored it opened it up
Starting point is 00:15:55 Because now you come to help you come to God gets beat you go to hell you see a lobbing Cuz here's the thing they didn't run down one play All he did was give, he caught lobs, and he got it off the rim and dunked it. And he got something early. He got a couple easy layups and dunks early, which kinda got him going, and he kinda carried that throughout the whole night.
Starting point is 00:16:15 And defensively, he was a monster blocking shots, all-twenty shots, and offensively, he was just a clean-up man. Yeah. What you think, Ojo? Not only was he the clean-up man, to piggyback on what Joe talked about, listen, when you get cut and they tell you
Starting point is 00:16:28 not to get an ocean, they tell you not to get an ocean for a reason. Because one shark smell blood in the water, but it ain't coming to get you. And the temper will spell, they smell blood tonight. A game like this, three one, you know, you got to put some type of effort, some type of intensity going forward.
Starting point is 00:16:44 The Lakers came out, they came out flat. They came out flat. The Wolves had already beat them, beat them at home before. So coming into again, coming into the hostile environment, they already got confident, because listen, we've already done it before. So what's the chance that we can do it again? The likelihood is probably good. Even with Anthony Edwin not having the type of game you have to have, you have the
Starting point is 00:17:04 unlikely person that comes out and wins the game for you. Rudy Gobert, he dominated both into the court, neutralized LA drives, he feasted on second chance points. Fuck, you're looking bad. It's looking bad. It's Nostalgia Overload as Wilmer Valderrama and Freddie Rodriguez welcome another amigo to their podcast, Dose Amigos. Wilmer's friend and former That 70s Show castmate Topher Grace stops by the Speakeasy for a two-part interview to discuss his career and reminisce about old times. We were still in that place of like, what will this experience become?
Starting point is 00:17:42 And you go, you're having the best time. Yeah, but it was like such a perfect golden time. Listen to Dose Amigos on the iHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. And the dream season is now complete. The Golden State Warriors are the 2015 NBA champions. On the new limited podcast series, Dub Dynasty, it's been 10 years since their shocking run to a championship. We examine the controversial move that made it possible. It's never a great conversation as a player when you hear that you're being benched.
Starting point is 00:18:13 For the entire behind the scenes story of Golden State's incredible 10 year run, listen to Dub Dynasty on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. My name is Brendan Patrick Hughes, host of Divine Intervention. This is a story about radical nuns in combat boots and wild haired priests trading blows with J. Edgar Hoover in a hell-bent effort to sabotage a war. J. Edgar Hoover was furious somebody violated the FBI and he wanted to bring the Catholic left to its knees. The FBI went around to all their neighbors and said to them, do you think these people are good Americans? It's got
Starting point is 00:18:56 heists, tragedy, a trial of the century, and the god-damnedest love story you've ever heard. I picked up the phone and my thought was, this is the most important phone call I'll ever make in my life. I couldn't believe it. I mean, Brendan, it was divine intervention. Listen to Divine Intervention on the iHeartRadio app, Apple podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
Starting point is 00:19:22 wherever you get your podcasts. I'm Michael Kassin, founder and CEO of 3C Ventures and your guide on Good Company, the podcast where I sit down with the boldest innovators shaping what's next. In this episode, I'm joined by Anjali Sood, CEO of Tubi for a conversation that's anything but ordinary. We dive into the competitive world of streaming, how she's turning so-called niche into mainstream gold, connecting audiences with stories that truly make them feel seen.
Starting point is 00:19:54 What others dismiss as niche, we embrace as core. It's this idea that there are so many stories out there, and if you can find a way to curate and help the right person discover the right content, the term that we always hear from our audience is that they feel seen. Get a front row seat to where media, marketing, technology, entertainment, and sports collide. And hear how leaders like Anjali are carving out space and shaking things up a bit in the most crowded of markets. Listen to Good Company on the iHeart radio app, Apple podcasts, or wherever you get your
Starting point is 00:20:30 podcasts. The Kistons go to New York and beat the Knicks. Cade Cunningham 24 points, 8 rebounds, 8 assists. Asour Thompson 22 points on 8 of 10 field goals. 7 rebounds, 2 blocks. Tobias Harris 17, 8, 4 blocks. Jalen Durin 9 points, 14 rebounds, 6 assists, 2 blocks. The game is really, really close.
Starting point is 00:21:05 The Pistons have scored 421 points, the Knicks 429. Rebounds, 180, Pistons are dominating this category. 182 to 148 plus 34. Three points made, 44 for the Pistons, 47 for the Knicks. Turnovers, had it not been for turnover, Detroit might have been one of their series. No joke. 70 turnovers to 46, points in the paint, 176 to 180 in favor of the Knicks. But the games have been very, very close. And who knows, had they called that foul
Starting point is 00:21:42 Sunday, we might be having a different conversation today Yeah, we might be even even with them squandering away to 21 point lead with letting the Knicks going at 21 They're 21 old none run, but I think this has been an even Two teams who are pretty even to me if you ask me but Detroit is just so gritty The biggest discrepancy and what I see is in the free throws on Detroit Detroit shot 16 for 27 tonight. I Mean other Nick shot 16 for 27 59 percent and Detroit was 26 for 36 from the line The Nick's miss 11
Starting point is 00:22:21 Miss 11 free throws shoot 59 percent from the line you lose by one. You like that. They out there compete man. I think Detroit has kind of watered Nick down a little bit if you just want me to be honest. Like this is a bruising series. I mean, you look at Brunson, I didn't think he was gonna come back
Starting point is 00:22:37 for the game in Detroit, but he did. And they ended up winning. And I think it's just kind of, you know, as the games go on, you know, I think it kind of wears him down. That's why I say early in the series, you to pick him up full court bump and grind all that by the time We get the game six five seven. Yeah, he's gonna be broken down a little bit no Yeah, give the warm down do the regular season playing at 43 44 minutes a night. Yeah, you're the Caesar
Starting point is 00:23:01 That's what I'm down because in the playoffs it continues It's not like it stops in the playoffs. You know what I mean? He only got a rotation of seven, eight guys, and you ain't got really. That's in the regular season. Anybody cut that down to six in the postseason. You know, all eight guys are pretty average today.
Starting point is 00:23:17 They didn't have nobody who kinda, you know, stepped up and separated themselves, to, you know, baby pull his win off. But this one, I think this one going seven man and I got Detroit pulling out at seven. Whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa you got Detroit winning this one. Man this you know the Knicks are not gonna lose this I listen I know they they squandered tonight listen the Knicks had what 13 turnovers they missed 11 free throws nigga Jalen Brunson in the car into his town they were nine nine for 30 throws nigga Jaylen Brunson in car into his town
Starting point is 00:23:45 They were nine nine for 30, you know shoot the night Brunson only scoring 16 Uh, I think what towns towns has 17 I think it was more so the turnovers even though they they they barely lost I don't think Jaylen Brunson has another game like this. He's not gonna have another game like this This was the down game for him, you know scoring scoring 17 16 tonight But I don't I don't16 tonight. But I don't see them losing this game. I mean, excuse me, losing this series. It was just a bad night tonight. It was a bad- Day time. They look low down on me, I'm going to be honest with you. And to play
Starting point is 00:24:16 another, got to go back to Detroit now and play in Detroit, travel. I think Detroit doing what they want as far as wearing them down, making this a long series is out. It's going to be in Detroit travel. I think Detroit doing what they want as far as wearing them down, making us a long series is out. It's gonna be in Detroit's favor. Yeah. If you look at the bench, Schroeder is coming in giving great minutes.
Starting point is 00:24:37 Lee Beasley is giving them tremendous minutes. They had 26 bench points. They outscored them on the bench, six, 19. They had 26 bench points. They outscored him on the bench. 619. So they outscored them 26 to 19 on the bench and you see the difference in the ball game. But I think when Schruedter comes in, he does a great job. He gets Cade Cunningham off the ball. He's making timely shots. He's distributing the ball. Malik Beasley's coming in, making some timely threes. I love Ansoor Thompson. I love the way he plays. He's aggressive.
Starting point is 00:25:06 He can, hey, and he's a two way player. He can pick up full court. Hey, he can put the ball on the floor, get to the rim. He's rebounding. I just say, J.B. Bickerstaff has done an unbelievable job with this team. And you can see why he was in the running for Coach of the Year.
Starting point is 00:25:23 I get Kenny Atkinson one, I got no problem with that. They were the he was in the running for coach of the year. I get Kenny Atkinson one I got no problem with that They were the best team in the East record-wide from start to finish But what JB Bickerstaff has done with this team Oh, yeah And to get them into the the sixth seed and get them in a situation where they could possibly get out of the first round He's done a heck of a job and he should be commended because these young guys now they get one more piece I still believe they're a piece away from truly truly contending a heck of a job and he should be commended because these young guys, now they get one more piece. I still believe they're a piece away
Starting point is 00:25:47 from truly, truly contending. But they got some young guys, what? They got 45 rebounds. They got out rebounded a little bit because you know, you've got a seven foot cat, you got a six, 11, seven foot Mitchell Robinson and they just got the one big. But give those guys credit.
Starting point is 00:26:02 I thought they were gritty. And even though when the Knicks went on that run and passed them up, that's a young team on the road and they kept it together. They kept their poise and they ended up coming back, going their own run, take the lead, lead and never look back. They were special, man. They were special. You're going to have to give, you know, you're going to have to look out for Detroit, give them credit. I don't think K didn't play a great game. He was six or 17 from the field the field before the most part, you know, he controlled the game. I love his aggression Yes, we are three toes made 11 of them. So it lets me know, you know, he ain't just selling for job
Starting point is 00:26:36 The aggressive get into the cup. But yeah, like you say the Thompson kid eight for ten No him get into the line. He was six for 12 from the line, but he's been aggressive as well. So, you know, Detroit has enough to advance out this series. They just got to be poised and patient, you know, especially down the stretch and closing these games. That's the difference.
Starting point is 00:26:59 Hold on, hold on. Go ahead, go ahead, Ocho. Hey, hold on, man. Cause this is the second time I heard Joe say this. And not only you saying that Detroit I'm gonna close this series out in seven, but you saying it with confidence Like how much do you really believe in in the Pistons? I'm just cute. I believe I believe in them a lot Oh, Joe, they young they they ready for the moment. They understand the moment
Starting point is 00:27:20 I mean, they don't want in the they don't want in the garden and one two games, bro. I Mean we talk we talk about we talk about big body Brunson, right? Car Anthony Towns Josh Hart. Yeah You show you show that them boys them boys nice. They play hard. I like it. I think they went out Oh, I'm gonna be honest with you, man Okay. Well, I'm saying you you you willing to put some money on that. Oh, man I know you surprise. Oh, man. I know you Man, I don't even know about It no problem. He can do i'm sorry to bring up somebody get in somebody else's pocket, but it's hard for me to bet with you Brother, i'm sorry. I don't know what you want
Starting point is 00:27:54 All right check this out check this out check it out. Let's say let's bet 5200 bet 5200 Move, man. I hear them driving. Hey. Hey. Nah, I'm told. Hey, hey, hey Joe, he trying to move, he trying to move in there on you. Yeah, hey, hey, nah, I ain't going, Oto.
Starting point is 00:28:15 You can trust somebody else, bro. Hey, hey, hey, Oto, I might have something for you, though. They got this pickleball tournament, man, and I need a free popcorn. Oh! I know you don't do nothing with them hips. You ain't gonna move around with them. Nah, I got nothing for you.
Starting point is 00:28:33 I got bad hips and bone on bone in my little chow. Ocho, a honey can to the winning team, Ocho. Oh, well, who am I playing with? Man, they gonna beat the hell out y'all. Well, who am I playing with? You're gonna play with me! Hey, joke, wait, hey, hold on. They gonna beat the hell out y'all. Well, who am I playing? You're gonna play with me. Hey, Joe, wait, hey, hold on. They're gonna beat the hell out y'all, see? He don't even know you in partner.
Starting point is 00:28:49 Hold on, hold on. Hey, Joe, boy, you seen me play tennis, right? I ain't seen. Boy, listen, I play, but listen, I'm telling you, listen, I lie for you before I lie to you. Now, I could play some tennis. The clips, you can see the clips, and the uncle bounce for me, people in the check and bounce for me. I played tennis growing up. I'm very good at tennis. So switching the pickleball Hey, I'm gonna be all over the court. I'm telling you know you just asked that man
Starting point is 00:29:14 You say hey, oh Joe come down here and play this you got this pickleball tournament. Yeah I thought it was solo. I thought it was so don't go to say Hey, hold on what what's the date? Let me know. It's in the Hamptons though, Ocho. It's in the Hamptons. Sag Harbor, upstate. Upstate who?
Starting point is 00:29:36 Don't worry about it, Joe. Wait, wait, I'm learning about history. I'm learning about my history. It's upstate New York. Oh, that's right there. How far is that from the Bronx? Like, how far is it here? You got a helicopter? I ain't getting on the helicopter.
Starting point is 00:29:55 I'm not there. Or you could drive. It's probably, I'm assuming it's probably a couple of hours. A couple of hours. I would have, yeah. Hey, but your ladder movement like that, you like that? Boy, you ain't that, boy, you better Google, you better YouTube me, boy. D-Feed don't play.
Starting point is 00:30:12 Hey, listen, I play tennis on the big court, my lateral movement is phenomenal. It's like I'm still 22 years old, right? But then you think about pickleball, the court is so small, so it takes me to get from one end to the other if I'm playing solo in like three steps. Yeah. So my short area quickness is still there. Nothing has really changed. I'm still real twitchy, so I'm excited. Just let me know the dates so I can block those off. I got you.
Starting point is 00:30:37 I'm ready. Yeah, we're gonna get to it. Yeah. Wait, how much? How much? How much? We went $100,000? It's 90 minutes. It's a 90 minute drive. Oh, that ain't bad. But most people won't jump, most people take the helicopter.
Starting point is 00:30:52 No, I ain't. No, no, no, no, because that sound like it costs too much. I drive, I can get a rental car for $60. I promise you, if you got a house in the Hamptons, you not worried about no cost to your helicopter. You probably own the helicopter. Hey, hold on, wait, wait, time out, time out. I hold it the hamptons like for the rich folk, huh? Yes Joe you got you got a house. I got some people that I know some people know some people, you know I'm saying like we good Okay, okay. I like like like rich like rich people. I know some people oh Joe. Hey, oh, you know you
Starting point is 00:31:22 Know how plenty room we got some room now, you know, y gonna have plenty of room. We got some room now. You know, y'all can come down and have, yeah, I mean, when is, hey, is it June? When is it? I'm gonna get y'all the dates. I'm gonna send y'all the dates. I'm gonna ask you. Y'all might, I'm like, hey, I need a place I can
Starting point is 00:31:39 let my hair down, I can relax and laugh at Ocho when he go out there in the ball, he let me just hear you. Oh no, now you know I know how to play. Listen, hey Joe, ping pong, ping pong, I'm the Liberty City ping pong champ and over town too. I'm ping, I'm him, I'm, I'm, That's me Ocho, Ocho, who you think they call to train the Asian to play table tennis?
Starting point is 00:32:01 Ocho, yes, your boy. Wait, who? Oh, you can't play no table tennis. You can't even see you wear glasses. Hello. Hey, hey, chat, chat, do me a favor. Chat. Y'all send Joe on Twitter and Instagrams.
Starting point is 00:32:19 Send him some clips of me playing tennis. So he understands how good I am. Okay. All right. Yeah. Yeah. yeah, pickleball. You ain't good. But I like, Joe, I agree with you. I think this is gonna be a seven game series.
Starting point is 00:32:31 I do think, I think the Pistons gonna tie this thing up three-three and they're gonna come back. Now, this is not gonna be a good look for the Knicks if they lose this series. Because remember, they had the lead on the, last year they had the lead on the Pacers. And the Pacers win game six, and then they go into next, they go into game seven, and they blow them out
Starting point is 00:32:49 on their home court. Ooh, I don't know, Tibbs, lose this one. Might be, you might be in trouble. Might be in the hot seat. But yeah, that's just my gut feeling. I like how the Pistons playing. Look, every game, you ain't gonna win, every game is not gonna be pretty.
Starting point is 00:33:04 You gotta win some ugly games, you know? Yeah, I think tonight was one of those ugly games that they ended up pulling out and that ain't nothing but, you know, more experience for their young team over there. Especially on the road. It's one thing to win a closed game at home, but you go on the road into a hostile environment. We don't understand what Madison Square M.S.G. We understand what that is and that's a gritty team to Knicks and to go in there and get a hostile environment. We don't understand what Madison Square MSG, we understand what that is. And that's a gritty team to Knicks and to go in there and get a hard fought victory,
Starting point is 00:33:30 Pistons got a lot of confidence. The Celtics blows out the magic. Game five, Jason Tatum was sensational. 35 points, eight rebounds, 10 assists. Celtics are 71 all time in the playoffs when they record, when he records 10 assists. Jason Tatum's last three games, he went 35, eight and 10, 37, 14 and three, 36, nine and four.
Starting point is 00:33:52 He's playing like that. And then you got Jaylen Brown gave you 23 and six. It's gonna be hard to stop him. Hey, hey, you know what? And Joe, it's almost unfair. It's still. Joe, it's almost unfair. It's still, yeah, it's almost unfair just watching them. I think about fair play when it comes to salary cap and it's like, how do you have all these players, not only do you have all these players that are good, not just a starting five, the goddamn bench comes in. They're paying pressure, Sam Houser. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:34:27 And they don't miss a beat. Obviously the game of basketball is a game of runs, but you don't feel bad about subbing or having people come in and out the game because you understand what you're getting once your starters go out. It's unfair. And I hate to jump the gun,
Starting point is 00:34:41 but I'm sure it's fair for me to be able to say, and I'm sure the chat would agree with me that The Celtics are probably gonna end up winning the NBA championship again And if they keep if they keep if they keep the same squad together There's a chance they win that motherfucker get next year, too. It's possible. It's possible. The guys coming off the bench, man They barely missed shots tonight. I mean they they weren't playing with Orlando. They really close Man Orlando had a lead and next thing I know they down by 20 Now you know hey I couldn't get the game for I wasn't I wasn't on my phone and you know the thing is
Starting point is 00:35:18 It don't go so, you know, I'm the I forgot it did I hit the little back arrow? Oh Joe So, you know, I'm the I forgot did I hit the little back arrow coach? Oh Orlando need a they need a point guard over there with Ben Carroll and Wagner Involved. Yeah, they need they do they need a baby over there Jail of cells and normally point guard. I Don't know why did he play Cole I don't know Cole Anthony might have been hurt These two minutes he gave him some decent minutes. Not a up go.
Starting point is 00:35:48 But I'm saying he didn't play a whole lot in the series. He played this. It seemed like he played this game out of desperation. You know what I'm saying? It's like we ain't great. Let's throw all we got. Because he ain't been playing on the red. Because I watch him like, well, damn, where's Suggs?
Starting point is 00:36:02 I know, excuse me, Cole Anthony. Suggs is Nick currently. Jalen Brown had 23.6 rebounds. Boston has won 16 straight playoff games when he scored 20 or more points. That's crazy, man. They got a two-headed monster. Cause think about it.
Starting point is 00:36:17 You got JT and JB. You got Derrick White that can give you a solid 20. You got Przingus that can give you 20. You got Holliday that's gonna play on both ends of the court and can get you somewhere, 12 or 16. You got Al Horford, Big Al, ain't no telling. Hey, he gonna play outstanding defense. He gonna rebound for you.
Starting point is 00:36:35 He gonna get some shots. Can give you double digits. Then you get Peyton Pritchett coming off the bench. You get Cole Howser coming off the bench. They got a cornet. They got a bunch of guys chipping in, man. A bunch of guys chipping in. That's that championship pedigree.
Starting point is 00:36:50 They know they rolls, they play it to the tee, they starting their rolls. It's going to be tough to beat them in a seven game series. Okay, who you are? J.K. Reddick said fatigue wasn't a factor in the Lakers' loss Sunday night. Reddick became the first coach to use the same five for the entire half of game since at least 1998, as far back as substitution tracking goes. JJ said today, our two best players missed layups at the rim,
Starting point is 00:37:13 and I don't think they missed layups because they were tired. I spoke to everyone yesterday, they would have potentially played the second half, and they all understood. There was no issue with that. LA has been outscored 105 to 69 in the fourth quarter of this series, they're shooting 25 of 78, a 32%.
Starting point is 00:37:32 Hey, Ung. That's Fatigue. Yes. Hey, Ung, the famous phrase when you play sports, Fatigue makes a fool of us all. Makes cowards of us all, but yes. That too. Easy layups, easy layup, easy layup, layups.
Starting point is 00:37:52 That's fatigue. Lack of concentration, lack of focus. One of the easiest shots to make. That's fatigue. Yes. Come on, man. Come on, come on, J.J. Come on, man.
Starting point is 00:38:04 You ask LeBron, I don't care what LeBron says. I don't man. Come on. Come on, Jay. Come on, man. You got to ask LeBron. I don't care what LeBron says. I don't care what he says. He's playing. He played 46 minutes on 40 year old legs. There's a reason why he only took two shots. He had zero points in the fourth quarter.
Starting point is 00:38:16 He was exhausted. And it's physical. Luca played four. Yes! Because you got to bank Julius Randall. You got to chase somebody. It's not like you're just standing out there like, you're a traffic cop.
Starting point is 00:38:26 Right, right. You got to move. You see Ant-Man out there taking the challenge. They have a whole shoving match out there. That take energy, bro, to do that. You know, he ain't just walk down to the block, catch it on your spot and get comfortable. He fighting and then you fight me down to this spot
Starting point is 00:38:41 by the time he get the ball, you're gonna be a little exhausted. And that's the whole plan. Wrestling, wear him down. Man, you can't play no whole half or no NBA basketball, play off basketball and don't think with that intensity, with the focus that's required. Yeah, I'll say that definitely was fatigued for me.
Starting point is 00:39:00 I mean, I've just seen careless mistakes. For sure. You know, careless mistakes. And what was he supposed to say? Of course you're not going to say fatigue because you allow those guys to play that many minutes. So that would make you look bad. Of course you're not going to say fatigue wasn't part of it because it was your decision. I disagree.
Starting point is 00:39:20 I think most people would disagree with you that fatigue wasn't an issue. There's a, if fatigue wasn't an issue, teams would be playing their guys for 24 minutes in the second half all the time. Nobody does that. Yeah. Nobody does that for a reason.
Starting point is 00:39:35 But listen, hey, Uncle Joe, nobody does that for a reason, but in the Lakers situation, they don't have a choice but to do it. They even have a chance. They got six points from their bench. They got six points from their bench and theoretically wasn't a bench because Fannie Smith played the entire second half.
Starting point is 00:39:54 So the problem that they're running into is that Minnesota is able to play Rudy Gobert for 20 minutes. They can't play Jackson, Jackson Hayslip for six. So now you bring, now you put LeBron at the five. Now he has to bang Julius Randall or he has to, you know, so, so at some point in time gave Vincent, uh, Jackson Hayes, he lost all confidence and don't connect. Cause he doesn't don't connect his DNP coaching decision.
Starting point is 00:40:21 And he might get help him by spacing the floor and knocking down some threes, but he can't remember his defensive assignment. He can't remember the rotation of what he's supposed to do. Do I hedge? Do I go with the road? What do I do? Do I do? And I think, so JJ, I think it's a lot of pressure
Starting point is 00:40:36 on the perimeter guys too. Austin Reeves, Luke, I just. Yeah. It's a lot of pressure on them, not only to score, but to defend. Let me tell you something in This atmosphere playoff atmosphere if you can't guard the first dribble or two To give to give yourself some time to where we can at least get eyes on the man or give you a little help
Starting point is 00:40:56 They win but you can beat off the first move on Joe man We can't get help there fast enough to help you man look They're gonna paint they get in the teeth our defense and doing whatever they want cuz look if they get past the guards our back line defenses brawn and during finish milk and Yeah, oh really? Yeah, and it's like you know you have no you have no rim protection You know you you you and scramble mode every defensive possession, and it's just tough. It's just going to be hard for them to win. I think the size that the Timberwolves have may take advantage of it. It's nostalgia overload as Wilmer Valderrama and Freddy Rodriguez welcome another amigo
Starting point is 00:41:37 to their podcast Dos Amigos. Wilmer's friend and former That 70 Show castmate Topher Grace stops by the Speakeasy for a two-part interview to discuss his career and reminisce about old times. We were still in that place of like, what will this experience become? And you go, you're having the best time. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. But it was like such a perfect golden time.
Starting point is 00:41:56 Listen to Dos Amigos on the iHeart radio app, Apple podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. And the dream season is now complete. The Golden State Warriors are the 2015 NBA champions. you get your podcasts. you hear that you're being benched. For the entire behind the scenes story of Golden State's incredible 10 year run, listen to Dub Dynasty on the iHeart Radio app, Apple podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. My name is Brendan Patrick Hughes, host of Divine Intervention.
Starting point is 00:42:38 This is a story about radical nuns in combat boots and wild haired priests trading blows with J. Edgar Hoover in a hell-bent effort to sabotage a war. J. Edgar Hoover was furious. Somebody violated the FBI and he wanted to bring the Catholic left to its knees. The FBI went around to all their neighbors and said to them, do you think these people are good Americans? It's got heists, tragedy, a trial of the century,
Starting point is 00:43:07 and the god damn best love story you've ever heard.
Starting point is 00:43:35 I'm Michael Kassin, founder and CEO of 3C Ventures, and your guide on Good Company, the podcast where I sit down with the boldest innovators shaping what's next. In this episode, I'm joined by Anjali Sood, CEO of Tubi, for a conversation that's anything but ordinary. We dive into the competitive world of streaming, how she's turning so-called niche into mainstream gold, connecting audiences with stories that truly make them feel seen. What others dismiss as niche, we embrace as core. It's this idea that there are so many stories out there and if you can find a way to curate
Starting point is 00:44:11 and help the right person discover the right content, the term that we always hear from our audience is that they feel seen. Get a front row seat to where media, marketing, technology, entertainment, and sports collide. And hear how leaders like Anjali are carving out space and shaking things up a bit in the most crowded of markets. Listen to Good Company on the iHeart radio app, Apple podcasts, or wherever you get your
Starting point is 00:44:38 podcasts. I agree with you, Joe. I think the thing is what's happening is that first of all, Luca can't stop nobody after the first dribble. So they're getting around him and so you bring him, guys getting, putting the guys that's in the dunker spot are getting wild for shots and a shooter on threes So now and then Ant-Man and man's to keep said he keeps all stories or he keeps ruin or he keeps Luca in the pick and roll. Okay. No, I want him bring him to me and Then they let him play one-on-one. You can't let Ant-Man play one on one. He's a supreme skilled one on one player.
Starting point is 00:45:25 You gotta make him play team ball. Make somebody else beat you. Especially just like tonight. We saw Jamal Murray get hot. He had 43 just like Ant-Man. And what happened? They let him play one on one. Okay, you let a guy get hot and you let him play one on one.
Starting point is 00:45:40 I think what has happened is by them trapping Ant-Man or kind of putting him in this little cage To uh, you know make him get a ball up. He's making the right plays Okay, Ocho and them guys are making the Lakers pay whether it's McDaniel's getting dogs or threes or Randall You know making the right play when he catches the free throw line where he attacking the basket because they ain't got no rim protection And he's getting to the line shooting free throws or whatever he he wants and then in the fourth quarter when Ant Man sees he know he can beat the double team anytime he wants he starts being a double team and he starts
Starting point is 00:46:14 putting the onus on the Lakers as far as getting in the paint making plays shooting the threes and now you can't stop that. But there's a thing though Joe is that if you go back and look at Sunday's game, he's raising up, shooting three, just. Try to even get the ball out of his hand. See, I wanna make guys, I wanna make, let's see if Jay McDaniel can make those plays in the fourth quarter with five minutes to go.
Starting point is 00:46:37 I know Ant-Man can beat me. Ant-Man is one of the five or six great best players in the NBA. So I know what he's more than capable of doing. Right. Okay, let's see what you got Josh But Jay Mcdane you got that thing. I think he can do it. He's he showing this he's showing and proving this series on there Well, he's gonna see it again. Yeah, I want to see it. I'll be open that man gonna be confident He gonna take these shots. He gonna attack the basket
Starting point is 00:47:02 I think defensively when he plays great defense It kind of fuels his offense You know what I mean? I think that's kind of all of them and if you notice Minnesota they guards they don't give up a lot of easy I know Luca can go on a run. I know AR can get hot but for the most part they sit down and guard man They send that guard. Yeah Yeah, but the difference is is that Lucas shooting over the top? Those guys are breaking you down getting to the basket. Mm-hmm. There's a difference. Look There's a greater chance that you're gonna miss that 27 28 footer than me missing this this layer. Yeah
Starting point is 00:47:38 Cuz you see what's happening and it's finishing at the rim or they're following it. They ain't got no no trouble guys are finished finishing at the rim or they filing it. They ain't got no choice. Guys are finished. We really don't have, I mean, Luca can beat you off the dribble, but it's not, it's because of savviness. He ain't gonna just, he ain't gonna just, and buy you.
Starting point is 00:47:55 He gonna herky jerky, you know, he gonna sit down on you. He gonna, hey, step through you, off the glass and stuff like that. We got this tomorrow night though. Whoa, whoa, here we go. Here we go again. got this tomorrow night though. Yeah. Whoa. What? Here we go Here we go and get this tomorrow night don't you so hold on. Hold on. You said Lakers and five, right? So obviously that's not there's no chance for that. So you still feel the Lakers have a chance to win this series
Starting point is 00:48:17 Come on keep you and you you really believe that though. I'm serious No, I don't believe that he? I'm serious. No, I don't believe that. He just going with it because he's been rolling with them all. Oh, yeah. Wait, wait. Hold on. Hold on, Jonah. You say we ain't gonna win tomorrow night? No, no, I don't got y'all. I got Minnesota coming in there. I got them coming to La La Land, throwing a whole party up in there in crypto
Starting point is 00:48:48 And you know what happened if y'all lose them all right? And then after cuz we not losing I'm just saying you know what's going down the hypothetically speaking Do you know what I do hypotheticals? I don't do hypotheticals Hypothetically if I slip in my garage, I'll be a maybach But guess what hypothetical since you think if that's all if you sleep in your garage, I'll be a baby. But guess what hypothetical since you that if that's all you sleep in your garage Nope. No, you you a fool. Okay, you can't be inside of the bed So that why I bet but puts up on it Joe. If they make you nervous what you are Yeah, what about it? Well, I like Yeah
Starting point is 00:49:21 Well, I'm like Yeah, you can't be you know, I've been with you. Yeah, I'm trying to strike. Oh, it's okay money I earned him. I earned the stripes. I'm more stripes on my helmet up What you call them? Hey, you remember playing club? We say doing would play dollar bill I put a dollar bill will play st. Louis and he come cut running out there they do it for the little man They were carrying him up had his head all in the car What the put the cigarette out of his nose? Yeah? He's going to double man yo yo yo yo your rap shit ain't that good right now, brother
Starting point is 00:49:58 Now my rap she good I listen the only person I ain't paid back is on everybody else and got they got they do Yeah Let go of that you know what you know what Let's bet it the West that's better than a chop so they're that chops, you know Man, y'all bet y'all bet. Sorry Nah, hey cuz cuz he already know when they see mr. Sharp on the thing They already go and cut that that ten ounce of wagyu a5 They already know when I come they go ahead cut that thing out cuz they already know what I'm order ten ounce who? That wagyu a5
Starting point is 00:50:34 It's a lie, Ocho Yeah, yeah wagyu yeah, yeah, they ain't got that at McDonald's Now I'm saying I I had some of the uh the waggle from um, I went somewhere and I told uncle about it I had they like they brought it to the table. It was like in little strips. Poppies. Yeah, yeah poppy. Yeah, yeah. Yeah, I was I was on a little date. Yeah. Luka Doncic has stepped up to pay for the entire expected cost of restoring a vandalized morgue depicting Kobe and Gigi Bryant in downtown LA.
Starting point is 00:51:09 He made a donation today to cover the entire goal of a GoFundMe page created by artist Louis Pascino. He wants to restore the mural titled Mambas Forever at 14th and Main Street. Luca, it's always been important to give back to the community. They gave me so much, so I just going to be in the Mambas forever at 14th and Main Street. Luca, it's always been important to give back to the community. They gave me so much. So I just want to... They messed with me a lot. I don't know why they did.
Starting point is 00:51:32 Come on, people. And they play, listen, man. They don't respect nothing. They don't even care no more about nothing. Man, I thought y'all, I thought they... Look, no matter how the love, oh, great you were, somebody is not gonna take it. Somebody, everybody don't like everybody.
Starting point is 00:51:51 Yeah. So we just gotta come to that conclusion like, man, Kobe, I fuck with you. Yeah, most people do like Kobe. 90% of the people in LA love Kobe. But ain't gonna be, there's never a such a situation where it's all or every. Yeah. So once you remove all or every from your vocabulary, you be good.
Starting point is 00:52:11 I just, they're just thinking about it man. Obviously the passing of one of the greatest to ever play the game and the still tragic passing. Yeah the tragic passing but the even bothers Amuro With great understanding what Kobe means for that by that city what he's done for the Lakers Organization and the people of LA they even want to vandalize a mural is beyond me Beyond me. I agree. It's crazy. Yeah It's more it says more about them than I mean I mean think about what it takes to go vandalize something.
Starting point is 00:52:47 You ain't got nothing going on in your life. I don't know, yeah, you destroyed some property that you didn't buy, that is not yours. People always destroy you. Hey, you wanna destroy something? Destroy your issue. Hey, that's ridiculous. Don't mess with my business.
Starting point is 00:53:04 They wanna go viral. We in the A. Anything you do, go viral. They gonna catch the right person on the wrong day and they gonna be viral. Oh, won't happen. Man, man. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:53:18 God damn COVID. Stephon Castle is the recipient of the Will Chamberlain trophy, the 2025 NBA rookie of the year. Spurs and one back to back, or MVPs. Castle 25, Victor Winmanyama 24, and they're the first teammates to go back to back since. You know, Ochoa, who's the last teammates to go back to back?
Starting point is 00:53:41 Back to back, uh, uh, rookie rookie of the year. Andrew Wiggins and Carl. No, don't turn your head. You turn your head the other way. It's still going to be correct. They got a big, got a promising future. You know, they get sick. He gets some help with that.
Starting point is 00:54:06 They're going gonna be high There's way You can think about it, you know, because first I mean Wimby wanted Castle not wanted David Robinson wanted Tim Duncan wanted so they've had for Forgetting and about two years when we might be the best thing in the league He created incredible I mean for me he he shoots a little bit too many threes for me I like a get your big long tall butt down on that block and you turn over one of your shoulders But hey, that's that's where that's where these guys are. Yeah According to there have been whispers around the league that the San Antonio Spurs could be a
Starting point is 00:54:48 potential landing spot for one Kevin Durant You like Wimby and KD together I do I do Look like he going somewhere in Texas, but I would love to see KKD and Wimby Oh, Nico has to go try to make a move for me in Dallas. Yeah. Yeah. I Don't know what I don't know what he, I don't know what he, I don't know if with terms of draft picks, now we know he got one of the Lakers draft picks. I don't know if that's enough. I don't know if the Spurs won't, that draft pick
Starting point is 00:55:14 and one of those bigs lively or Gafford or somebody else because he's really, he wants to compare, he wants to pair Kyrie AD. Well, Phoenix, Phoenix don't wanna try to trade him it was like he asked for no trade Okay, yeah, no, they probably they'd probably be willing to you know do something. I can't see him I can't see him not trading him. You know what I mean? They probably gonna get actually what they want, but they'll probably get some No, you're not gonna get what you gave up for all those draft picks and they gave up. They gave up who?
Starting point is 00:55:49 I say they gave up draft picks. You know, they gave up McHale Bridges and Cam Johnson. And they gave up, I think they gave up like four first round picks. Three or four first round picks. And it didn't work out. But you said, you know what? We're going to win the championship. That's going to be the last pick in the draft.
Starting point is 00:56:03 Yada, yada, yada. I'm not worried about it. Now what happens when you don't? we're going to win the championship. That's going to be the last pick in the draft, yada, yada, yada. I'm not worried about it. Now, what happens when you don't? You don't even make the playoffs. And what you could get to rebuild that goes to somebody else. No, I'll tell you, you know, I'm saying I buy all these blocks. And yeah, man, my house will be so nice when I get this thing. They're like, no, no, no, no, no, no.
Starting point is 00:56:22 The block that you just bought, they belong to me. And let me go get those Let me go get those pieces that you was gonna build your house with now. Let me get that I Still like Katie. I still like Katie going okay, see now. I'm not sure how far okay. She goes I don't believe you're going to play off. I Just say I think I think the pairing of him Sam Preston Sam Preston like that That's that's the don't know you didn't tell me because I look They look at that like hold on bro
Starting point is 00:56:48 If you talk if we know you will live because think about it a lot of times when you have a great player You want to trade if he know he leaving I'm gonna trade you cuz I'm gonna get some compensation Right he walked out the door and they get nothing boring. Yeah Think about what you could have got for KD six years ago. Six, five, six first round picks. He walked out the door and you got nothing. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:57:13 And they were able to rebuild it. A lot of that had to do with Shay, because think about what the Clippers gave up to get Paul George. Think about what the Rockets gave up to get Russ. They traded Chris Paul. So they just whooped. And Sam Preston. You can say whatever you want about Sam Preston. He did draft KD. He did draft Russ. He did draft Harden. Avaka. Reggie Jackson. Steven Adams. Listen, Stephen Adams, Jalen Williams, all those, all those, Chet Hongren, all those guys, he made the trade for Shay. He can put a team together.
Starting point is 00:57:52 He got a great eye for talent. He got a great eye for talent. Ochoa, I don't see that, Ochoa. No? I just, I see OKC doing really well in this playoff this year. I don't give KD, bro. Okay.
