Sunday, week 15, time to get those lineups set right now on Fantasy Football Today in 5.
Good morning. Good luck. Let's get it going. Heath Cummings is here. I'm Adam Azer. This
is Fantasy Football Today in 5, catching you up on the fantasy news and advice you need to know.
Follow and stream us on Spotify. And if you left us a question in the reviews, I have to apologize.
Those are not populating, so we do not have them, and I am sorry about that. But Heath, we do have plenty of advice to give, and let's start with some quarterback
news. Matthew Stafford wants to play today. He's going to give it a shot. What does that mean for
him and for Marvin Jones at a good matchup against Tennessee? Yeah, it took Marvin Jones from being
a boom-bust low-end number three wide receiver to being a boom-bust high-end number three wide
receiver, but he's still a number three wide receiver that i am more interested in starting than i was as for stafford i'm probably
only using him in two quarterback leagues this has turned into quite a week for quarterback
stafford's at number 18 right now for me right behind jalen hurts but guys like mitchell trubisky
and drew breeze are also ahead of all right so where did you put drew breeze he's going to play
but michael thomas is on ir out for the rest of the regular season.
Where are you putting Drew Brees?
Right in that same high-end QB2 discussion,
but I do have him behind Mitchell Trubisky.
That's a decision that I have to make in a league between those two
and ahead of Stafford and ahead of Hertz.
Currently at 15, I believe, in my quarterback ranking.
Look at this run he was on without Michael Thomas.
Drew Brees was crushing it,
and now he's going to be in a shootout with the Chiefs.
So we like Emmanuel Sanders quite a bit.
Would you consider Emmanuel Sanders a must-start?
I don't know if I'd go quite as far as must-start.
He's a low-end, number-two wide receiver.
I'd say unless you have very good options, you're starting Emmanuel Sanders like why why not why not be a little more enthused about drew
breeze there's just so many darn quarterbacks and i'm not gonna rank it like obviously you're not
ranking him ahead of josh allen and you can't rank him out of aaron rogers and you can't rank him
ahead of justin herbert and i had derrick carr in that 13 range sorry um I'm not gonna move I wouldn't be very
honest for me to move him ahead of Derek Carr so like between Watson and Tannehill and Wilson and
Murray and Lamar and Mahomes there's there's just a lot of very good quarterbacks I have Drew Brees
projected for 23 fantasy points all right it's not a bad day we'll take that no we'll take that
and six point for passing touchdown at least okay and let's talk about the Dolphins Devante Parker Sprees projected for 23 fantasy points. It's not a bad day. We'll take that. No, we'll take that.
And six points for passing touchdown, at least.
Okay, and let's talk about the Dolphins.
Devontae Parker looks like he's going to play. Savan Ahmed is someone we're getting a lot of questions about.
Gasicki question.
Well, what are you thinking about the Dolphins against the Patriots?
If Gasicki's active, I'm probably starting Gasicki.
Yes, the Patriots have been very good against tight ends.
They're mostly good against teams' number one options, And I don't think Mike Kosicki would be thought of as the Dolphins number one option. So and he's a tight end. So I'm probably starting Kosicki. Parker is right in that Marvin Jones boom bust number three wide receiver range. He did a pretty good job earlier in the year of either getting into the end zone or getting a decent yardage total. So I don't really want to start Parker, but I don't hate it.
And I would say the running backs for the Dolphins, I really don't want to start.
I don't have a good grip on what percentage of the touches each back will get.
Okay, would you start Ezekiel Elliott, assuming he plays, or Savan Ahmed?
Ezekiel Elliott.
Would you start a San Francisco running back, as Raheem Mostert's going to play or
Sivan Ahmed? I would start both 49ers
over Ahmed. And which one do you prefer?
Wilson or Mostert? I'm going to stick
with Raheem Mostert. I've taken off of the
injury report, so he should be a full
go, which still means they're probably sharing,
but I think Mostert's the best back and the most
likely to break a long run.
Alright, Detroit center Frank
Ragnow is not going to play.
Does that mean you're going to get away from DeAndre Swift at Tennessee?
I really can't get away from DeAndre Swift at Tennessee. The player talent, the matchup
situation, the fact that Stafford's playing helps the offense a little bit. I'm mostly just going
to start DeAndre Swift. Talk about Irv Smith and Cole Komet. Kyle Rudolph is out.
Jimmy Graham is questionable.
Yeah, I think we're expecting that Jimmy Graham is going to play,
but Jimmy Graham has played the last couple of weeks
and Cole Komet's had seven targets in each game.
Irv Smith and Cole Komet, two of my favorite streamers on the week.
I've got them both ranked as high-end number two,
low-end number one tight ends.
There's not too many traditional starters that i would
start them over though like i'd rather start them than hayden hurst i would rather start them
than johnny smith but uh evan ingram i've got in full ppr i'd rather start ingram i'd rather start
those guys interesting okay and then i'm going to give you four players just tell me how you're
feeling real quick on them terry mclauraurin and Tyler Lockett in the same game.
Low-end number two wide receivers with big time upside.
I'm starting them over the Marvin Jones, Devontae Parker group.
David Johnson at Chicago with Duke Johnson out.
Feeling quite a bit better about David Johnson against the Colts.
Against the Colts, yeah, sorry.
Just because...
I put him back last week.
They had chopped up the passing work too much.
If Duke Johnson's out, I feel more confident in a few catches for David Johnson.
He's a low-end number two running back.
Okay, and the last guy I had was Sonny Michel with Damian Harris out.
Yes, right behind Leonard Fournette.
So two very similar guys, former fantasy starters,
getting a chance to start in this game.
High-end flexes, borderline number twos,
right in that, you know, right behind Clyde Clyde Edwards, a layer and JK Dobbins.
