Starting point is 00:00:06 to the fantasy footballers podcast with your host, Andy Holloway, Jason Moore, and Mike Wright. Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the podcast. It's a fantasy footballer's podcast, if you're nasty. Thank you. I was ready. That's my best friend, Jason Moore. That was going on, Best friend, Mike, right? Andy's not here today.
Starting point is 00:00:44 Yeah. He's okay. Well, he was here today. He was here today. But he is not able to be on the show. So sorry. But now you get like, because this is, this is your questions today. And we're going to go wherever we want to go on today's show.
Starting point is 00:01:03 And dad's not here. Maybe we'll just have a little bit more fun. I'll set a puzzle for everyone. Okay. And he's missing. He has a. a lot in common with a
Starting point is 00:01:20 an animated character from a kids movie. That's probably a little too vague. I'll go animated animal. Okay. Okay. Okay. I still, I know the issue and I can't solve the puzzle. Wow, you're not as smart as YouTube. All right. It's his teeth. It's his teeth.
Starting point is 00:01:37 Well, I would have gone maybe Lloyd Christmas, but you do you. It was a toothless reference. Ah. But Lloyd Christmas really will. would have. Yeah, it happened again, ladies gentlemen, but he will be back. This time in the front.
Starting point is 00:01:57 I wasn't sure we were going to even mention why, but I mean, it happened. It happened. He's going to get repaired. Everything's going to be okay. We think. Let's see. On today's show, we're going to talk a little bit about draft
Starting point is 00:02:11 where it's not the first time. And it will not. No, it will not. the last time. There's no way at this point. It's not a little draft. And it is a mailbag show. Not a ton of news, but we will talk about it. Hey, make sure you check out the Ultimate Draft Kit.
Starting point is 00:02:31 Ultimate DraftKit.com. You can pre-order the regular, the base level, or if you want to get on the UDK Plus. Just skip all over that. Go to UDK.com. Oh, we're skipping all of. Just go to footclan.com. and just become an ultimate Foot Clan member. It's one thing.
Starting point is 00:02:51 You get everything we ever do for the whole year, all the highest tier, every episode, every special recording, every DFS dynasty ranking. We don't have anything outside of that. It's easy. There won't be pictures of Andy's two.
Starting point is 00:03:11 I mean, you would have to message him and ask for those. Quick question of the day. Or, you know, hey, I them or something. But we won't do that. We would never. Quick question today. Which players' fantasy value are you most worried about being impacted from the NFL
Starting point is 00:03:29 draft? So this one is purely... I'm looking at a very selfish list. Yes. Yes, you are. This one is purely selfish. 100% selfish. But the question is, who am I worried about being impacted from the NFL draft?
Starting point is 00:03:44 and I think it's going to be Chris Olave. Chris Olavi is a very good wide receiver, but it is super duper awesome when you're getting 30 plus percent of the target share because you are pretty much the only man in town and I fully expect the saints. He wasn't, though, like towards the end, I mean,
Starting point is 00:04:00 Devon Valet, you know, the buy week. So I guess in the game right before the buy week, that's when everything really changed. You had the Rashid Shaheed trade. And then everyone was like, oh yeah. Remember when we gave up multiple picks to get Devon Vailay onto our team and he has not played at all?
Starting point is 00:04:20 Well, he played five games. And I mean, he was making an impact. But even then, I'm looking, I'm looking, you know, after the biweek, later in the season when they had Valey, 30% target share, 28, 29, 39, 49% target share. finishes the season with 30% target share. That's not going to happen if you draft Carnell Tate. Bailey after the by week was at 21%. Yeah, I mean, but Valey is not one of these. top three wide receivers. I think there's a good chance
Starting point is 00:04:45 to Saints take one of the top three wide receivers. Okay. And I believe that would have an impact on Olave. Olave is a very good wide receiver. You might argue he is like the world's best wide receiver two. Like he shouldn't really be the wide receiver one for an NFL team. I think he would be awesome next to another stud. But he will be impacted for, you know, fantasy purposes. This is a guy who you're coming off of a hard to remember. He was the wide receiver. Yeah. Like that's how good. And he will not be a top six wide receiver if they draft one of those top three guys.
Starting point is 00:05:20 And then I think we can name a bunch of people that we're worried about. I like Olave. I'm not worried about him. I think he's a stud. And the situation around him had just really eroded. And you were hoping that it can be at least okay. His career with Garrett Wilson is just, it's so wild of seeming how just on these parallel lines, both of these guys have been going, except now I feel more confident that Olavé has taken the off-ramp of he has a very strong offensive coach who will give us extra snaps every single game. And I believe in Tyler Shuck. I think perhaps Shuck can't elevate to being one of the, you know, like a top five quarterback in the, league, but he looked pretty good to me as a second round pick who was, you know, just finishing off a rookie year with, with, like you said, they weren't flush with top-tier
Starting point is 00:06:22 weapons. I mean, Juan Johnson's one of their primary past actors. He's a fine tight end, but he's probably shouldn't be featured. I would say, as much as I like it. I mean, if you look at weeks 10 through 17, that's when Tyler Shuck was, you know, starting. You had Olavay on a 17-game pace of 109 receptions, 1,464 yards, and 14.5 touchdowns. That's not wide receiver 1 numbers. That's like the wide receiver 1 type of numbers.
Starting point is 00:06:52 For me, it's selfish. The most obvious one is Chase Brown, as we had a report right before recording, because we're recording this Monday afternoon, that the Bengals are going to meet with Jeremiah Love. now they are picking at number 10 they're picking at 10 yeah so you don't think there's any chance I can get there I said
Starting point is 00:07:13 my odds of Jeremiah love being available at 10 I'm putting it at less than 5% I mean obviously you've got to get through a few I don't believe that the giants are actually going to pull the trigger at 5 now I don't think they will have a chance well sure I mean the Titans are heavily rumored and I could see I think that that is the the biggest trap for him not getting to 10 would be the Titans just take or the they take them right off the bat pick four he's off the board then you get to pick seven with the commanders they could very very much use him I think that he fits their team perfect I love that but they have a lot of needs they need a wide receiver very badly and so maybe they don't draft him then you would have had an issue with Kansas City at nine but they spent the money on Kenbone Walker they're not they're out of
Starting point is 00:08:03 of the Jeremiah Love sweepstains. Right. And right before them was the the saints are in there as well and they gave all the money to Travis E.T.N. or A. Chan.
Starting point is 00:08:14 We're still trying to figure this one out. We want people to know who it is. Yes. When we say Travis Achan, people as of today will not know who we're talking about. It really is difficult because we want to respect the guy's name.
Starting point is 00:08:31 But we also have, people need to know who you're talking about. So it's a difficult thing. We'll see how, because he said, I can't remember. Did he say like he wants it to be that way or he's like, this is what it's supposed to be? He was totally fine with ETN. He's totally fine with ETN. But he also said it'd be nice if people start saying ancient. It's like, Camara, where it's like, was it Alvincair or is it Camara? And he's like, well, I say Camara. My mom says Camar and you're like, well, we're trying to help you out here, man. You help us. So we'll figure that one out over the next few weeks.
Starting point is 00:09:02 I say tomato. Right. So my selfish one is Chase Brown. I don't think that Jeremiah Love gets there. And this draft is interesting because I don't, there's, of course, there's always plenty of players who are on the hot seat of, it seems like they could be easily replaced. Like in this draft, you're like, uh-oh, danger, danger,
Starting point is 00:09:26 your starting spot is up for grabs. I think we're just, I think it's going to be a bunch of surprises. of these rookies going to places. Oh, well, I don't know if I totally saw that. So my honest, biggest worry about the draft for who will be impacted the most is the rookies. Because you have the Cleveland Browns and the Jets, and I just, I don't want to keep dunking on them. Right. But if they're probably, if they take two of Carnell Tate, Jordan Tyson, and McKinley-Lemitt, and McKin-Lemitt, if two of those guys end up on those two teams, it's going to suck.
Starting point is 00:10:00 That will poo-poo all over the drafts. And the thing is, is you don't want to overreact to players going to bad destinations. It's very common that great players go to bad destinations. And yet we still have Garrett Wilson, who at this point, it feels like Garrett Wilson will never, his fantasy production will never equal what you are looking at on the field of his talent. Yeah, I agree with that. But like, AJ Brown back in the day, he went to the Titans. Everyone was really upset because they weren't a good team.
Starting point is 00:10:30 And when you look at the draft, you go, okay, the Raiders, they're the worst team in the league. Statistically, they got the number one pick, the Titans, the Giants, the commanders, the saints. Those are all bottom 10 teams. But I have faith of their improving. Exactly, because they're good organizations. It's not the same with the Jets and the Browns. It's just not the same.
Starting point is 00:10:52 When they go there and those two teams are going to be drafting another wide receiver. So hopefully it's not one of those top three guys. it will suck. It will suck. And I will move them down in my heart and in my ranking. The draft is on the way. So we are just a couple weeks away. Very, very exciting times for the rookies. We'll be talking much more draft as the weeks go along. Let's get into the news. News and notes from around the league. Kirk Cousins can't stop, won't stop. He has, Jason, hopefully you haven't read this blurb.
Starting point is 00:11:41 321 million in career earnings. He trails only Tom Brady and Matthew Stafford in his quest to somehow earn more money than any other player in the NFL. It's an incredible job and the gold jacket goes to Kirk Cousins agent. I mean, he's done great work. Part of that jacket needs to be shared with Cousins himself because he held to his guns on, He started back in the day with the first, like, I only want guaranteed money. Well, he had to deal with being on Washington of them wherever the breakdown was happening. I think he played two years on a franchise.
Starting point is 00:12:16 So it was like, he just kept getting, well, here's full guaranteed money. Okay, here's full guaranteed money. And then he stayed healthy and played well. Like, this isn't to dunk on the career or just crap on Kirk Couss's career. He has been a good, solid quarterback. But when you look at the highest paid quarterbacks of all time, when you think of the highest paid quarterbacks, you're like, okay, this guy has taken a team very far in the postseason, should have at least a Super Bowl. And yet he has the money.
Starting point is 00:12:47 It was funny when it first was announced. But he signed with the Raiders. My bad. When the deal came out, it was like signing a 10-year, $150 million deal. Well, it's really basically a one-year, $11.3 million contract that the Raiders are going to owe. Some of the money will be owed from the Falcons. And there is an enormous, like, poison pill amount of money on this contract at the end of this offseason, almost forcing the Raiders to let him go into free agency.
Starting point is 00:13:22 But it's a pretty clever way to have the contract work for the cap space, for all teams involved and then Kirk Cousins will be in the same position next year to sign for more money. Yes, so he's going to the Raiders over the last couple months. I think that the Raiders have reiterated they want
Starting point is 00:13:43 the number one pick to sit. It's going to be Mendoza. They've talked about they want Mendoza to sit maybe a whole year. I don't know if in today's NFL you can actually sit down the first overall pick for the entirety of the season that it's a just it's a different business now you used to be able to do that
Starting point is 00:14:03 it's much much more difficult who do you think is the week one starter in kirk cousins i do too i think kirk cousins starts and probably plays half the season kirk kirk played with coach coobes up in minnesota for a couple years i it's a lot of money so we're just we're joking about cousins making money but i think this is solid you want if you're going to invest the first pick in a quarterback having Kurt Cousins here to teach him out of play. And I think that at this point, Cousins will I think he'll accept that. He, you know, he's always seemed like a
Starting point is 00:14:37 solid dude, at least from the videos that we're privy to as the public. But he understands, I'm here for a year. I'm here to redeem my value for free agency for next year, but I'm also going to teach this kid how to be a pro, how to earn as much money as possible. He's going to help him. You can teach him so much. What's funny about this is, I don't think I've ever seen someone talk about Mendoza as a prospect and not mention Kirk Cousins's name. Not unrelated to this.
Starting point is 00:15:09 It's like, oh, he's like a bigger Kirk Cousins. The clean mouth. Yeah, it's basically just, it's almost personality. Yeah. It's basically just they're both pretty goober. They're goopers, man. And so you can't find a better mentor for Mendoza. Like does Mendoza get down with Coles cash?
Starting point is 00:15:29 For sure. Probably. For sure. I mean, you know. Does he look at the full price and then the markdown? He's like, I can't believe this thing's marked down 50%. When these guys get together. Everything's marked down.
Starting point is 00:15:41 I'm one week in, one weekend of their relationship being together. Kirk Cousers will have a handshake agreement to be the godfather of Mendoza's children. For sure. These guys are going to be two peas and a pot. Coles bros. But from a fantasy perspective, this is really good news for Brock Bowers, I believe. You see a lot of times we talk about this through great rookie seasons, like Bo Nix a couple years ago. It was like Bo Nix had a great rookie season, but we always have to like delete the first month because the training wheels were on the first month.
Starting point is 00:16:14 Like if you look at his rookie season from week five on, because he's more of a pro then. When you start week one as a rookie quarterback in the NFL, unless you're, you're not. Cam Newton, it doesn't usually just have prolific stat padding for those kind of of quarterbacks. And so having the beginning of the season actually be a veteran quarterback
Starting point is 00:16:37 most likely, I like that. I like that for Gentile. I like that for Bowers. And then when Mendoza does come in, it's halfway through the season. It can hit the ground running more like what we saw from Tyler Shuck last year. Yep. And so I think it actually is important for fantasy. Adam Schaefter
Starting point is 00:16:53 has reported the NFL concluded that Chief's wide receiver Rishi Rice did not violate the personal conduct policy. If you recall, there was an accusation of violent and abusive behavior filed by the mother of two of his children and former girlfriend. So apparently he will be in the clear,
Starting point is 00:17:13 at least for that. Yeah, there is still an upcoming court case for... Oh, I do not remember this. I believe for the vehicle stuff. Oh, but he already had the suspension last year. Okay, that was for the vehicle. I thought so. If that's the case, we are free and clear here and until the next issue.
Starting point is 00:17:30 He will be on thin ice for suspensions. If anything comes through any sort of perf, he'll be in big trouble. Do you think he is undervalued in like draft rankings? We didn't see a ton because you had the suspension, the first six games for Rushie Rice last year. and then you had the injury of Mahomes. So the end of the year was like, okay, you didn't, but when you had him with Mahomes, he was basically like a top 12 wide receiver every single week.
Starting point is 00:18:04 He started Week 7, which he scored 20 points, 21 points, 16.6, has a down game 6.8, 20.1, 25.4. And then things kind of fell apart over the next. Week 15 is when Mahomes went down to injury. So you still had. Yes. For fantasy football, he will score a lot of points. So yes, in terms of speaking only of that, then yeah, he is undervalued.
Starting point is 00:18:33 Knowing that he's not going to be suspended, it's pretty valuable. We got a report. This one was just made me funny or made me laugh a little bit. It's being reported that Joanne Jennings is asking for too much money. Jennings? What are you doing? He's going to be 29. He is a solid player.
Starting point is 00:18:51 oftentimes solid players believe they should be paid like great players. He should be paid a good amount of money. There's got to be, someone has to have cash for Joanne Jones. I think the issue right now. And teams have to want him. Teams would want him, but the issue for him is because he was asking for too much money and didn't get signed early, we are so close to that first wave. We're so close to the draft where there are so many Joanne Jennings in this draft.
Starting point is 00:19:20 Yeah, yeah. And those Joanne Jennings will be cheaper. And those Joanne Jennings will be younger. It's like if I'm a GM, I'm not signing Joanne Jennings right now. If the draft doesn't fall my way and the specific wide receivers I liked went to other teams and whatever, then I'll go sign them after the draft. But I would be surprised if he signs before the draft, which means search for news during this show. He'll probably sign it. We did get some positive comments about Tank Dell.
Starting point is 00:19:48 Oh, my God. Coach D'emico Ryan's said his status for OTA is uncertain. They expect him at some point this year. Another beat reporter for the Texans, Jonathan M. Alexander said, I expect him to be ready for week one. That would be great. Tank Dell is a good player,
Starting point is 00:20:05 and the Texans are better when he's on the field. Yeah, as is C.J. Stroud. All right, we'll take a quick break and be right back with the mailbag. Mailbag. Thank you. Oh, I mean, I didn't even. Hardware bear very extraordinary. Jay Gris over there holding it down.
Starting point is 00:20:33 We'll lose. Okay. I wasn't asking for that. I was just telling the people at home. We're never asking for that. Every time that thing is just a frying pan to the face.
Starting point is 00:20:49 It's a good jam. He's Jay Gris. The problem is it kind of sticks in my head. All right. If you would like to submit a question for future mailbags, just go to the website. or if you want to do a voicemail, that's 302-464 TFFB. No voicemails today.
Starting point is 00:21:09 But we have our first question from Andrew off of IG. It's Bucky Irving. I like this. I think Dynasty Price Check on Bucky Irving is a topical question right now. The question is, should I trade Bucky for the 104 rookie pick, which that's an easy one to put a name to. It's one of the three wide receivers. So it's like you can just run through them. I would rather have each one of those three wide receivers
Starting point is 00:21:33 over Bucky Irving. Okay. What if it's Carnell Tate on the Cleveland Browns? He's the last one left. Yeah, that's what I was just going to say. Carnal Tate goes number six to Cleveland. He will be third in my big three. So he would be this pick for Bucky. And I would take the young top 10 drafted wide receiver
Starting point is 00:21:59 over the smaller fourth round running back that has had a breakout but also been dealing with injuries. So yeah, I would rather have the 104 for Bucky. Now there is a pretty big... They brought Kenneth Gainwell in to compete for touches for Bucky on the Tampa Bee Buccanees. Yeah, there's a fairly large gap between the 104 and the 105 as of now, not knowing how the NFL draft falls. I feel like you could convince me that Bucky is worth more than the 105,
Starting point is 00:22:31 depending on what you think about Sadiq. And honestly, like, I am, I, I, we said this on the, we said this on the rookie preview show last week, but I am so, so close to putting Stowers ahead of Sadiq. Oh, I feel like I need to do it now because I won't be able to do it after the draft. You know what I mean? Because Sadiq will be drafted higher or we, We presume he will over Stowers, but I like Stowers more than Steeke.
Starting point is 00:23:01 And Bucky is a tough evaluation right now because you're the, the breakout of year one and then a deleted year. And now, and the best competition, in my opinion that he's had on the team of Kenny Gainwell. I probably prefer the rookie wide receiver. If you, you know, trying to zoom out real quick, don't have the landing spots, but it's like once the landing spots are secure, who's going first in a startup draft? Those three wide receivers or Bucky Irving. It will easily be those three wide receivers. I'll say probably. Most likely. I'm not going easily.
Starting point is 00:23:38 Well, it would easily be those three wide receivers for me in a startup because I, I hate. Then you should, then you should easily trade Bucky for the 104. Yeah, I would, I don't like building my, if I'm building a dynasty team from scratch, I do not like. What if you're pretty much the first two rounds, I hate when I get a running back. I do get a running back of the first two rounds, it's because it's Beijon. It's because it's one of the most elites. Flip that real quick.
Starting point is 00:24:04 You're a contender. You have Bucky. Bucky's your RB2 right now. Would you go for it? I'm a contender and Buggies my RB2? If I'm real contender, he's my RB3. You know what I'm saying? No, he's not.
Starting point is 00:24:17 I would say, I would still take the vote. I think that hopefully, I don't believe Carnell Tate, like when I've been mock drafting, I have Carnell Tate falling. to eight to the Saints. And that bypasses. Really the big problem is pick six for the Browns. Yeah. Pick six for the Browns is where they can ruin it by taking
Starting point is 00:24:38 one of those three guys. They're going to take a wide receiver, but they have plenty of more draft capital later to take one of the guys that I just don't even like already. So I don't think that there's a guarantee one of those three is ruined. I would make the trade. Brian off of IG says, why
Starting point is 00:24:54 there's no one talking about Parker Washington? Parker Washington. Parker Washington, if you do not recall Jacksonville Jaguars pretty much had a breakout campaign last year. Their wide receiver three or wide receiver two or wide receiver one? Yeah. What is happening? One or two, not sure. And so it's just, you know, have a dyncy conversation about it.
Starting point is 00:25:18 And then there's the follow-up is Parker Washington worth the 108. I assume this is what I trade the 108 for Parker Washington, which. just reading it, that sounds difficult of a guy who, he didn't come out of nowhere. Like, we already knew who Parker Washington was, but this level of success feels like it came out of nowhere. But it's Liam Cohen. You guys have shared your thoughts on Brian's Thomas Jr.
Starting point is 00:25:47 of perhaps he's not even long for the Jacksonville Jaguars. Just how are you going about valuing Parker Washington and then they had the addition of Jacoby Myers in the middle of the season. Yeah, so I think Parker Washington is undervalued. The second half is when Parker Washington really, it changed after the by week. I think he's really good.
Starting point is 00:26:14 My Felix model had a talent score of 91 on him as a prospect minus draft capital. Right. Now, doing a little back test. Yeah, that is not. as sticky as the actual Felix model with the draft capital, which once you have him, the draft capital, he's like a 45th percentile, which is why you saw two and a half years of him do nothing. He's a sixth round pick. Yeah. And so who cares? Now, a breakout can happen and can then
Starting point is 00:26:42 be sticky. And that could have happened. More often than not, that draft capital sticks around for just about ever, unless you are, you know, obviously if you puka, if you come out the gates and you're, You've got bad draft capital, but you establish yourself as a superstar right away. Okay, draft capital no longer matters forever. However, when you're breaking out in the back half of year three, you aren't seen as a core foundational piece of a franchise. You're probably not going to have the team building around you this year, especially with Brian Thomas Jr. there.
Starting point is 00:27:18 So I would rather have the 108, but that does not mean that I think Parker Washington's current value is he is good. He is better than what his value is. But I think there's a gap there between the 101.8's going to be probably a second round wide receiver. Yeah, it will be. After the by week, Parker Washington's pace was 1,200 yards. And that includes a game he got hurt and only played 38% of the snaps. And then the week he came back, he only played 45% of the snaps as he was ramping back in. The second half was fantastic for Parker Washington. He's in the final year of his contract.
Starting point is 00:27:58 So Jacksonville, if you're looking at this from dynasty, Jacksonville is going to have to make a decision of Parker. Their decision is made with Brian Thomas Jr. What they do with him. Because they have to. They up, they re-ups Jacoby. They have to pick one of those two. Right.
Starting point is 00:28:15 So, yeah, maybe they'll be playing for their, for the contract. Yeah. I mean, they always are. I'm not trading the 108 for Parker Washington. I'm like, it might, it might be fair. But being a year three guy and then having that breakout over the second half, I'm not willing to take on the probability risk that Parker Washington, that was the best year of his career.
Starting point is 00:28:43 Like, that is one of the possibilities. Yeah, because, I mean, we haven't even mentioned Travis Hunter because he's a cornerback, wide receiver. But that's more competition there as well. All right. We got the next question is from Tony off of IG. Dynasty value for Kyrin Williams, 25 and a half. He's in year five.
Starting point is 00:29:04 He did get the bag last year. So that tells you that he will at least have his job. At least have it this year. But Blake Corum was used a lot more. Blake Quorum showed there is a reason that he was drafted in the NFL. It's like this is a situation that could quickly enter a full 50-50. I don't believe that. You don't?
Starting point is 00:29:32 You think Kyran is that much better? Yeah, I think Kyron is that much better. Now, obviously last year it wasn't what it was. It wasn't like the 90-10 of years past. Last year, I think you're going to see more of that where you have a shared workload, but I don't believe it'll be 50-50. Kiron is their guy. He's also got a pretty nice contract.
Starting point is 00:29:51 So he's under contract the next three years. They can get out of it very cheaply after this season. Yes, that would be the concern. But that's what I like about the contract. This isn't a type of contract that I feel like this isn't Todd Gurley levels that's crippling your ability to build a team. He's paid 10 million a year. That's a good chunk of change.
Starting point is 00:30:12 But if you feel like he's an important part of your offense, 10 million a year, like, okay, we don't have to get out of this. Right. You know, they would, they would still have 2.3 million dead cap next year if they got out of it next year, which means they're just saving 8 million, which is, I mean, maybe they'll have to. But I think he's safe for two years, which means for dynasty, if that was the question, what's the dynasty value for Kairn? He has.
Starting point is 00:30:39 He's a keep for you. Would you acquire Kairn? I think he is, he belongs on a championship contending team. Okay, so if you're a contender lacking an RB2, you're willing to go pay the price. To trade for Kyrim will be expensive. I would give up my first round. If I'm a contender, I'm a back half first round pick. If I've got like the 110, you know, because I was one of the best teams in the long.
Starting point is 00:31:05 Get it done. You'll need more. Yeah. But I would be willing to go start negotiations and try to acquire him. And if I'm a middling team, if I am, this is the tight. of player, like we got there, every couple years, the crops of great running backs, they get old, and you start seeing, we saw this with Derek Henry forever ago and then forever, which is, there are certain players out there that they need to be moved. They should only be on the
Starting point is 00:31:34 contending teams. If you're not a contending team, capitalize right now. You can get more than the 110 for Kiron Williams. And you should do that because he's not going to be around four and five years from now. He's not built like there, Kenry. And he doesn't have that kind of, he didn't come into the NFL with the name value, like a Bejean or someone. So will he get another contract after this? Probably not one that is like meaningful for fantasy football. So if I'm a middling team or a rebuilding team and Kyron's on my roster, I'm looking to trade him to a championship contender. In related news, Kyle the board. Gogan has just put
Starting point is 00:32:16 Carmen Williams on the trade block. Oh, he's got him. Maybe I'll maybe I'll grab him this episode. Please do. Please have your whole entire team just be running backs. And you can
Starting point is 00:32:30 you pretend you're a contender. Oh, those words anger me. Let's see. We got Roma Dunze. This question is off of Twitter from Jason says it's a keeper question. Rome with Dunzee in the seventh or Emeka Egbekboa. Emeka Egbuka in the eighth. That's a really
Starting point is 00:32:54 fun one because both guys were disappointing down the stretch. Rome really both guys got out to a smoking hot start. The exact same thing though of like just catching nonstop touchdowns. Gosh. Their beginning of their seasons is hilarious. I this one's I No, I know my answer. This one is easily a meka. Okay, that's where I am for me. Yeah, it's, it's a meca.
Starting point is 00:33:19 I think it's, it's closer. Rome, Rome has much more competition than a begboo does. Yeah. It is. It's hard to say his name right now. It is hard. A buca, Broncoski has murdered. Emeka Egbek boo.
Starting point is 00:33:35 A mecca egg begboot. I can't even say it, man. I mean. A meca abuka. It's awful. This is a guy I just adored and loved. He was a mind. guy last year and then Rob Gruncowski
Starting point is 00:33:46 put that monstrous comment out, ruined his career and our brains, but yeah, Emeka doesn't have the target competition. He's not dealing with like right now Luther Burton and Mr. Lovelin. Oh, they have they have it left. It's like
Starting point is 00:34:06 they're sleeping in the weight room. Either one of them could be the one over Rome and Rome could still be the one as well. Sure. We just don't know. I don't think that there is player on the roster for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers now that Mike Evans is gone. Oh, Chris Godwin? Okay, I guess Godwin could be the one in a big, I will never say his name. What is wrong with you? What is Rob with me?
Starting point is 00:34:27 Okay, that's what's Rob Grankowski. Yeah, I mean, at this stage, I expect a Mecca, Ibuka to be the one for their, like, that's my expectation. I think it's more likely that he's the one than wrong. becoming the one. Yes, I genuinely don't know. Like, well, I'm going to have to when we start after the draft statting up for the UDK,
Starting point is 00:34:53 I'm going to have to dive deep to figure out the target pecking order for the Bears. I'm into Abuka this year. I'll go one more year. Okay. Of, like, take another shot. Yeah, it started, it started
Starting point is 00:35:10 so hot. He's a great wide receiver. Right. That's the thing that was so weird is he was a great wide receiver. Then he was drafted in the first round, and then he was a great wide receiver. And then all of a sudden, Baker couldn't throw the ball to him and he couldn't catch. So weird.
Starting point is 00:35:27 This next question is from Joshua in Texas. I am in a Superflex Dynasty League. My team is terrible. I got a trade offer of A.J. Brown for J. Waddle. Interesting. Okay. So this is a,
Starting point is 00:35:44 This is getting out of an aging veteran who will probably be on the downside of his career. AJ Brown will be playing at 29 this year. What hell is Waddle? 27.3. It's like a year and a half. Really? I know, right? It feels like AJ Brown is.
Starting point is 00:36:08 What? Well, Jalen Waddle came in a little later. I don't think I would do that. I would rather have AJ Brown. Yeah, I would stick with AJ Brown. But to be fair, I don't understand how this is worded. I think they might be getting AJ, I mean, it says, I got a trade offer of A.J. Brown for J.L.
Starting point is 00:36:31 That could go either way. I guess. So we'll just say we are on the side of the age. We'll just say, yes. Huh? Yes. You figure it out. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:36:43 Where's your question better? We're both preferring A.J. Brown over J. Waddell. Okay, let's say you have A.J. Brown. There's still all the rumors. The Patriots rumors have not gone away. They have now just shifted to, well, it's going to happen after June 1st. It could. I believe that.
Starting point is 00:37:05 So do you, if you hold on to A.J. Brown, do you want him to move to the Patriots or do you want him to stay? No, I would much rather him move to the Patriots. I want him to move to just about anywhere. Obviously, if you move to a team that has no quarterback, but I don't, the thing about a nice veteran like this who's got a humongous amount of money on his contract and would expect probably a new contract upon arrival. Yeah, I think a trade means more new cash. There isn't a team out there without a quarterback that is doing that.
Starting point is 00:37:34 So I don't worry, like, oh, he's going to go to this bad team that has no quarterback, because why would they trade capital for an aging vet and then give him a bunch of cash? if they don't have the quarterback figured out. This is a team like the Patriots. It's like we've got our quarterback, you know, the commanders, where it's like we've got a good team, but we need to support our quarterback with another stud. And I think that when he gets traded for draft capital
Starting point is 00:37:58 and given a new contract, the targets will be coming. So I want him traded. All right, quick break back with some more questions. Mike in Baltimore, is Isaiah Pacheco a must have running back? now that he is behind Gibbs. No. I mean, he will be, he will be rostered in all leagues and has to be rostered. But it must have, to me, is like someone that you're going to be playing.
Starting point is 00:38:32 Well, I think if, if Jamir Gibbs is not playing, you'd be starting Pacheco. Of course, but that just means he's an insurance running back. Yeah, but so he's like the level of insurance that Pacheko provides for the Detroit Lions. He is a very important insurance back. I mean, you're going to look around the league and say, okay, who's behind Bejan, who's behind Gibbs, who's behind Maccafrey, who's behind. And then if there is a clear backup, and Pacheco appears to be the clear backup, then those will be important, guys. I'm fine drafting them. I'm fine dropping them if I need to.
Starting point is 00:39:06 Well, let's just go to that. Pacheco versus the other B. Robinson. Who's got the higher premium? your monthly premium is waiting for the payout who's higher i would rather have brian robinson okay i think that he has shown more in the last year and a half when given opportunities he's looked pretty good and pacheco has never looked remotely the same after that leg break i mean this was a guy who was on fire looked great we loved how he destroyed the turf when he ran and he broke his leg It was unfortunate, his opportunity to be a bell cow and get that bag.
Starting point is 00:39:44 It didn't happen. But then when he came back, it was like, we forgave him because he just came back from a leg break. And he looked worse than Kareem Hunt, an aging vet. So then you go into the next year and you're like, okay, there was some news like, oh, he's looking good. And I don't know, did he ever look good to you last year? No. Yeah, me either. So I'll take the guy that still looks good.
Starting point is 00:40:04 All right, let's stay in Detroit, Felix off of IG. What is Jameson Williams value in Dynasty? So Jameson Williams, 25, freshly 25 years old. Apparently, because of the website says he's 25.0. I don't know his actual birthday. But, oh, happy birthday. Whenever it was.
Starting point is 00:40:25 He was a first half blunder and a second half wander. And he finished as a top 10. Wait, wait, wait a minute. Is it his birthday today? It's not his birthday today. But what if I told you? that he was Andy's my guy
Starting point is 00:40:42 and his birthday is March 26th. Are you telling me he didn't know that? Of course you knew that. That's why he was a my guy. B-day bros? B-day bros. Who you got to be careful with that one? Second half, he turned a birthday bro.
Starting point is 00:40:55 Right. So, birthday. Bros. Second half, he finishes a top 10 wide receiver. It was awesome. That was, and you do recall, coach Guns Mahoney,
Starting point is 00:41:09 AKA Dan Campbell took play calling and said, you stink of this, I'm going to do it. Because you can't figure out how to get Jameson Williams the ball. It's actually very easy, according to head coach Guns Mahoney. Where do you have Jameson Williams? Because that's really like he was a top 20 guy back in 2024 off of 58 catches for a thousand and seven. So, I mean, that's not really anything spectacular. I've got him right now in Dynasty leagues as my wide receiver 17. and every time I look at that, I think he might be too low.
Starting point is 00:41:44 Wait, he might be too high every time. He was higher in points per game two years ago. I didn't realize that. Because it's like right now I've got him obviously behind the Chris Olavé, George Pickens, the same kind of age group guys. I have George Pickens illegally high in my ranks. Yeah, and so Jameson, you can make really strong arguments, nice big long contract freshly minted 25 years old great offense quarterback stability um that he is
Starting point is 00:42:17 great but his inconsistency i don't think goes away i think the place i don't believe he's going to be a hundred catch receiver ever you know and so he's a frustrating fantasy asset to have so i look at him and i'm like okay would you rather have a 25 year old all those things i just said that is on a good offense, but he's 25 or the aging AJ Brown. Jameson Williams. Is that easy for you? Yeah, it is. So I have him above AJ Brown in my rankings. Like, AJ Brown is at 19.
Starting point is 00:42:51 James and William's is at 17. When I think through this, I feel like I would rather have AJ Brown to be able to put in the starting lineup more confidently right now. But then, of course, the age and the gap. So I think he's at the right spot. Whenever I see a player and I'm like, he should be higher, he should be lower, It's probably Baby Bear situation here.
Starting point is 00:43:11 I got you. It's really Goldie Lucks. The baby bear was Well, it was always the baby bear who was the one His porch. You're right. You're right.
Starting point is 00:43:21 His chair is bad. I mean. Maybe Baby Bear had it made. All kids have it made. You just don't know it yet. If you're saying the value this year, AJ Brown on the Eagles,
Starting point is 00:43:35 I'll take Jameson Williams. Oh, really? Redraft. Yeah. A.J. Brown on the Patriots, I'll take A.J. Brown. Okay. But I do. I have confident that Jameson Williams will be far more consistent and reliable this year. Dude, have that confident. Have it. Have that confident? Yeah, that's what you said.
Starting point is 00:43:57 Did I? Yeah. I thought I said I'm far more confident. I don't think so. Well, what did I say? What did I say back there, dude? They're not listening. They're not doing any. They're not paying. Are you playing my? sweeper? What are you doing? I wish we had a camera behind that. I need, we need screen share. You ever notice that the guys who set up the cameras never put a camera behind them so we could see what they're doing? They're like, no. Very suspicious. But did Mike have a flubby statement? You're allowed to talk. You don't know. You don't know how to talk,
Starting point is 00:44:26 do you? No idea. Okay, you guys, what were you doing? You guys were not producing this show. What were you doing? I was reading ahead. Oh my gosh. I was working a trade offer. You're trying to get Kyra back in? Goodness. Because he knows we can't do anything right now. This is the time to swoop in. He's in the tampering period. Unfair.
Starting point is 00:44:48 Unbelievable. This is the illegal tampering period. Ridiculous. All right. Well, let's stay talking Dynasty. Eli off of IG. Dynasty value. Cortland Sutton, 30 and a half.
Starting point is 00:45:01 He will be entering year nine in the NFL. His value? He is... He is... farting again. It's weird. Yeah. Because it's the same thing, you know,
Starting point is 00:45:13 it's like Cortland Sutton this year on the Broncos. The wide receiver 13? He should be solid. Like last year, he just finished wide receiver 13. He has Jalen Waddle now, which is... That's a big difference than anything that they have. Of our arguments of Pat Bryant and Troy Franklin. Jailen Waddle is much, much better than both of those guys.
Starting point is 00:45:37 Yeah, I mean, that's the dynasty issue is once the Jalen Wattle trade came through, you go, okay, well, Coralyn Sutton, he'll be a red zone target, but he's not going to be their wide receiver one. It seemed like last year they were trying to have him not be the wide receiver one, or at least I don't think they were trying to manufacture that, but there were large stretches of the season where Troy Franklin was leading him in targets, leading him in yards, and then Coralind Sutton was saving fantasy value with touchdowns. Coralyn Sutton's 30 years old.
Starting point is 00:46:03 The wheels are going to fall off really, really soon for him. And they've already invested in their future. He may not even be a Bronco in two years. Oh, yeah. It's the unknown of where is a 31.5 year old receiver going to go? I don't know if you can package Sutton with someone, like Sutton plus another legit player to upgrade. But I would be trying to unload Sutton off of being back to back in half PPR,
Starting point is 00:46:31 wide receiver 13, two straight years. 120 plus targets in each of the last two seasons. Do you think he can hit 120 targets? No way. No way. No way. No how. Not with Waddle there.
Starting point is 00:46:41 I mean, a Waddle injury. Just a balloon hands. All right, we got, we got maybe one more. Let's go that guy from some place. Oh, dude, I know him. You know that guy? I know that guy. He wants to know.
Starting point is 00:46:57 As of right now, I'll read you the names if you are, not privy to them. Your least favorite, round one pick. Because we often say, you know, like you, you don't win at the draft, but this is where you build your foundation for a very successful year. Jason, your strategy of round one is that of, not that you don't want upside, but you do want to feel safe. Yes. With your pick. I do. I think in the first round, everyone has upside. And we know that historically probably, you know, at least 30 plus percent, probably even closer to half of the first round, we'll be disappointing.
Starting point is 00:47:39 It just happens. Like usually it's injury to derail a first rounder, but sometimes it's just they just don't live up to the hype. So this year, Bejan Jemir, no, that's fine. Love it. Jamar, Puka, JSN. No problems there. I'm not scared about any of them.
Starting point is 00:47:58 Johnny Taylor, Christian McCaffrey. Everyone is always scared of Christian McCaffrey. Sure. But also, I'd love to have him. He was very fun to have on my team last year. C.LAM, Oman, and Raw. No fears there. Okay.
Starting point is 00:48:14 Here's where it has to come in. The back of the first round would be where. So that's Justin Jefferson. Little scary off of a terrible year, but Kyler, I think, helps. Kyler is, you know, Kyler Murray, the guy that the Arizona Cardinals paid to leave, The guy that the majority of Arizonans, if you went and took the poll, said, we got to get this guy out of here. No one like Kyla Murray, until he was a free agent.
Starting point is 00:48:41 Then people love him and they want him on their team. Yeah, because he's not a cardinal. Very strange situation. That makes complete sense to me. But so you got the quarterback situation for Jefferson. You got James Cook and then Ashton Gentie. Ash and Genties still, these are, this is from Bestball, by the way. He's sneaking in there at the very,
Starting point is 00:49:00 last pick of the first round. James Cook lost his fullback. Is that... Yeah, I mean, he lost his fullback. They also got a wide receiver in theory to be more of an alpha and DJ Moore. The coaching change is neutral as it's the O.C.
Starting point is 00:49:17 So the offense should be the same. But, I mean, it's like, can Joe Brady handle the responsibilities of being a head coach? Some guys are awesome offensive coordinators. and then they end up being in charge of a team, and they can't do it. Yeah, I mean, look, I think the scarier one feels like it's James Cook, but in truth, it probably should be Ashen Genty.
Starting point is 00:49:46 It would be Ashen Genty for me because of the, if Kirk's going to play a bunch of the year, that's better. That's very helpful. They overpaid, they got a new center. We love that. We love the new offense that is coming in. so it's gentie. But real quick, though, for Taylor,
Starting point is 00:50:01 the second half of the year, it fell off. I mean, they don't care at all about that. You don't. No, I mean, it wasn't. These were games where Daniel Jones was playing. They just were playing harder teams. Kind of, yes, but also, like the last four games of the season, which were really bad, were Daniel Jonesless.
Starting point is 00:50:20 When Daniel Jones left, it was a, I had him. It was, you know, a wide foot kick to the Nards. And he had a, when he had the down games, they still weren't like bad games. They were. So the first two weeks after the biweek, which were Daniel Jones games, full, 100%. They lost both of them. They lost to Kansas City and they lost the Houston Texans. In those two games, Jonathan Taylor put up 7.6, half point point, half point PPR, whatever, half point scoring.
Starting point is 00:50:55 And then 13.6. Those two defenses are elite run-stopping defenses, and everyone has a bad game here and there. At that point, that's the end of Daniel Jones. He only played like a quarter of the next game, and it was a little bit more mild. But I'm not worried about, I'm not worried about Jonathan Taylor. He's a freak of nature. Well, I bring that up because you don't know for sure that when will Daniel Jones be ready to play? Sure. Week one? I don't know. Week four? We'll know closer to it. And I think he'll move around and fall if he needs to fall if all of a sudden Daniel Jones is starting on the pub or something that we don't expect. But at the end, if you look at Ash and Gentie being there, who very, very, very talented, you have Kubiak coming in saying he wants to have a time share, which he did not have as a rookie. And then there's other running backs out there. There's other running backs out there.
Starting point is 00:51:56 Devon A-chan, I know that you've got a much worse offense this year, but also it's all Devon A-chan. You've got Amarian Hampton that I think I would prefer with the upgraded offensive line over Gentie. I would expect a better overall offense. And I mean, you've even got, I think there's a lot of people that are in the Gentry tier that you can make an argument. Josh Jacobs bouncing back and not being injured. Ken Bone Walker. Like that spot to me, I don't know what other wide receivers were on the board, but that spot feels like pretty questionable. All right. That's going to do it, ladies and gentlemen, for our show.
