Just style you love and quality you can trust. Visit Wayfair.ca. Wayfair, every style, every home. How weird is it that they like rebooted the mummy and Tom Cruise was in it?
Starting point is 00:01:14 Well, hold on a second. So what I don't understand is they talk about how they rebooted the mummy. What did they, which one did they reboot? They didn't reboot the mummy. Because there's nine mummy. Okay, so there's the Brennan Fraser mummy. There's obviously that. That's not that.
Starting point is 00:01:33 From before that. And there was two or three? Was it the one, they didn't reboot the one? The Tom Cruise isn't the old one? It might be. I think it was supposed to be because they wanted to make a whole cinematic universe. Yeah, they did. Yeah, okay.
Starting point is 00:01:45 And then they just go, never mind. Because the one Tom Cruise movie, a bomb. That movie was truly terrible. I watched the whole thing. Yeah, me too. It's really unbelievable. It was his low. I think it was his low in his career.
Starting point is 00:01:58 Probably. I mean, he is not really in a movie that bombs. and that bombed. And was terrible, though. Like, if it was, if it bombed and it was, like, good or for some reason, like, some weird movie, but like, it wasn't even that. True. It looks, it looks fake. I mean, look at this.
Starting point is 00:02:12 But anyway, yeah, that's a bad movie. Don't see it. I can't wait to see his new movie, though, Digger. Really? Oh, yeah. It looks okay to me. I mean, just based on the trailer, you mean? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:02:26 But I love Tom Cruise, so. Inorito, Chivo, look at, look at Cruz, look at, look at Cruz, looking at. like that satire dude like i mean yeah he's he's he seems to me like he clearly made a decision which seems very wise to me since he's what is he 60 now 61 where he's like i'm just going to be like a great actor right right right like i spent the last 15 to 20 years as the biggest movie star in the world yeah so like i can't keep doing that at 70 right so why don't i did just get 200 million to make a movie that's basically like an art satire weirdo
Starting point is 00:02:59 thing where he looks like that? That's insane. I mean, he's got, he's so like, I love it. No, he's great. Yeah, he's awesome, dude. He's great. But wait, so this is like, who else would do this?
Starting point is 00:03:11 I don't even know. Who else would do something at this scope? Like, actor-wise? Yeah. Oh, nobody could. Yeah. Well, no, no, I know nobody could. That's what I'm saying, like,
Starting point is 00:03:17 who would do it, I'm saying. Anyway. Well, I mean, yeah, no, I guess nobody, well, yeah, I guess not. Like Dan Day Lewis obviously could play the role, but you would never warrant it to the size of the budget, you know? Did, uh, I saw, uh, that movie last night, what the hell was it? Sackerin. Have you heard about this movie?
Starting point is 00:03:40 I don't know if I know. Sackerin movie, you'd have to say. There. It was, uh, it was whatever. It was good. And then, you know, a lot of these movies. Where's that movie from? Australia.
Starting point is 00:03:52 A lot of these movies after, sorry. after succumbing to an obscure weight loss craze involving the eating. Oh, I've heard of this. Eating the eating of human ashes. Love Lorne medical student Hannah finds herself terrorized by the ghost of the person she's eating. That sounds so insane. It's interesting, but it's one of those movies that is just, you know, I was thinking about this last night because you watch these movies and they're like, they're interesting
Starting point is 00:04:19 and they're well done. And then like a little over halfway through, you're like, all right, so what's happening? I know exactly what we're talking about. Yeah. Here's what's going on. Filmmakers, even not so great ones, because of technology now and because of the ubiquity of, like, mooby or even Netflix or whatever, Sunnis Plus.
Starting point is 00:04:42 It's really easy to approximate a few things in filmmaking. One of them is vibe and tone. Yeah, totally. Those are the easiest things to thieve. And when you begin a movie with a vibe and a tone that's interesting. Yeah. And you're like, oh, what's that character up to? Right, right, right.
Starting point is 00:04:56 Oh, who's that? Right, right. You're, you're kind of in because it's like, oh, it's vibe. And that's totally what it is with this. I recently saw a movie just like this with a friend of a friend of mine who's in it sent to me. It was like, what do you think? I was, it was at Sundance. He was amazing.
Starting point is 00:05:12 Yeah. Actually, everybody was good in it. But it was like that because it was so interesting in the beginning. But then in the middle, you're just like, you pause in your mind or pause the screen. Yeah, totally. Wait, literally. what? Totally. Not like, ooh, where's this going? No, no. Like literally what is this about? Yeah, this is exactly what this movie was like. And it was like, you know, you know this movie wants to make a
Starting point is 00:05:34 statement about diet culture and all that stuff, but it's just like. Oh, was it even doing? Well, I suppose, but I don't, you know, anyway. Benedict Cumberbatch. Oh, you can't just say the name. Well, welcome to Lifeline episode 221. It is Sunday, July 19th and happy birthday to Benedict Cumberbatch and Brian May and Anthony Edwards Bodge. Why is it? It's Cumberbatch. Batch. Batch. Cumberbock. All right. I mean, that's a fucking ridiculous name. I mean, it's the most. Benedict Cumberbatch. Could you be more English? No. No. The third. You'd have to add the third to the third. That's like what a dot. It's like, you know the full like dinosaur names like tarat like where they're,
Starting point is 00:06:13 it's like what this guy is but English. He's not he's so English. He's a dinosaur. There it is. The Benedict Cumberbatch. Brian May, happy birthday, whatever. Do you deserve it? We don't know, but happy birthday to you. And I am I definitely deserving actor, Anthony Edwards of both nerds, Revenge of the Nerds and ER and Zodiac. Got to give it up. Mr. Anthony.
Starting point is 00:06:36 Well, I could have said Benedict Cumberbatch, it's your birthday. Happy birthday on the episode 22nd. I mean, I was going to kind of do that, but you just cut me off and you said, no, you can't just say his name. Oh. Yeah. So what did you just say? Ghana? No, no.
Starting point is 00:06:51 Murder. No, I just want to know. Oh. I just said, uh-oh. He said, uh-oh. He said, uh-oh. Oh, he said, uh-oh. But my throat.
Starting point is 00:06:58 It's not you're right, yeah, yeah. He was, he had a lot of cum in it, though. Okay. Well, what? Um, what, you guys hate Queen or what? What? No, I hate what Brian May did about Bohemia and Rap City? Oh, what's Brian May?
Starting point is 00:07:09 Brian May is a member of Queen. Guitarist. And he, he, he, whatever. It's a boring story, but yeah. I have nothing, like, against him as a musician or something. Yeah. Queen is amazing. Yeah, Queen is amazing.
Starting point is 00:07:19 Um, yeah, so, anyway, I'll be in, uh, Miami. I'll be in Louisville. I'll be in, uh, Tulsa, Spokane, uh, Springfield, Portugal. Wow, that's coming up, huh? That's crazy. Phoenix. Uh, go to chrissy.com, Tempe. Go to chrissy.com, uh, get tickets.
Starting point is 00:07:39 I'll be there. Can't wait to see you at Louisville. Um, sign up for this Patreon. Patreon.com slash lifeline luxury worth just no submission. It's just banta sick in it. Starting point is 00:07:59 It's on and foppin 24-7. I'll tell you that much. Patreon.com slash Matt Delia, best community online. Best what? Community online. I'm a little biased. So drunk.
Starting point is 00:08:10 I'm a little biased. Community online. Best community. On a source, neighbor. Yo, I have news about me. I woke up today and I am finally over, I'm 200 pounds. Oh. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:08:27 I forget, was this a goal? Yeah, it was a goal. Well, my goal is to be 205, but yes, I've never woken up. It's a milestone. Yeah, I've never woken up over 200. Sorry, not fat. 200 lean. A year ago, I was two something.
Starting point is 00:08:44 Oh, I see what you're saying. I wasn't lean. So I'm building muscle and I guess those peptides might be working from era. Do you want to explain what peptides are? Well, they do. The peptides are in your body and they've been around for thousands and thousands of years, but the injections. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:09:01 Yeah. This company, A-I-R-A-R-A-com. If you want to do it, actually do my code, Chris 50, you get $50 off. But there's so many peptides for everything. They're figuring it all out. It's an insane medical thing. breakthrough. I mean, people are saying like, you know, Reda, which, which helps you shed fat and it suppresses your appetite a little bit. But there's like, you know, stuff to make you tanner.
Starting point is 00:09:28 There's stuff to grow your hair. There's stuff to, it's insane. It's like biohacking, legit biohacking. And, uh, you know, is it very new or is it just exploding now? As a thing. It's not, no, it's been around. But, but the technology has gotten really good lately. And recently it's just been doing well. And people have been seeing a lot of great results on it. And it's a gray market product, which is not approved by the FDA, but FDA approved fucking growing artificial meat. So you know that the FDA doesn't give a fuck about anything except among many other things. Also, I believe if it's a, what is the law? It's like if it's a natural supplement of some kind, it doesn't have to be cleared by the FDA? Gosh, I don't know. That's why what's it called was legal, Kratum.
Starting point is 00:10:14 Crate out for so long. Yeah, for so long. It's like naturally occurring or something? Yep, yep, yep, yeah. So anyway, I don't know, you know, I work out hard and I eat, I've been eating a lot. And I just started being like, dude, I'm not going to eat so much. It's too hard. It's too much.
Starting point is 00:10:26 And then I woke up over 200 and I go, whoa, all right. Because when you wake up, you're the lightest. Yeah. So that's what's up. And you could tell at the gym yesterday. I was pretty much killing it. Nice, dude. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:10:39 Yeah. Yeah. So bent over rows and all that stuff. But yeah. Bent over rose. Okay. What? Bent over. rows. Yeah, and then pulling
Starting point is 00:10:46 row, like rows with four plates on and I'm crazy. Buff dudes were being like, whoa, I don't do that much. I mean, at a Georgie is what you're describing. Pulling, pulling, just bending over rows. Yeah, bending over, just making my chest go like this and having just ropes of just hitting my chest. So anyway, yeah. Crazy. So it's great at the gym. Crazy gym. That's like the Adam Sandler. Yeah, yeah, I thought of that too. No barbells, just my balls. God, remember how hard we used to laugh at that?
Starting point is 00:11:12 Do you remember how hard we would put, We put that CD on, but the whole thing straight, and laughed so hard. That one was the one. Where with the cock and balls? That was that one, too. Yeah, that one's funny. The working out, I know what you're going to say. That one wasn't my favorite.
Starting point is 00:11:27 I know what was your favorite. Can I guess? Which one? The Kevin Nealyn one with the farting. Oh, dude, yes. That was absolutely my favorite. Absolutely my favorite. That was not me.
Starting point is 00:11:34 That was you. So good. Oh, fuck. I should have brought that up to Kevin Neeland. All right. I forgot about that. So, yeah, anyway. But so I'm, I'm feeling good.
Starting point is 00:11:44 Do you want to do a submission? Yeah, it's getting. Hi, guys. Okay, curious what you would do in this scenario. Went to the movies this past weekend. Saw the invite, loved it. My husband and I, we get to the movie theater. We each buy a drink.
Starting point is 00:11:58 I get a lemonade. He gets a Diet Coke. Fine. We sit down. Movies about to start. Person next to me. I see them. Take my drink.
Starting point is 00:12:07 Sip it. Realize in real time it's not their drink. Put it back down. I'm not doing anything. He turns to his partner. I hear him say, I can't believe I just did that. And they start dying laughing. Okay.
Starting point is 00:12:18 And I... So far acceptable. And the movie had just started. And I just didn't know what to do. I stayed silent because I didn't know what to do. So I didn't touch the drink after that, by the way, it was full. And $8. So I'm just curious, if you guys were me, would you have said something?
Starting point is 00:12:34 If you were him, would you have said something? Should I have, like, pretended like I had COVID halfway through to freak him out? Should I have drank his drink halfway through to freak him out? what do you think? He didn't say anything. He said something to his partner and thought it was funny, which is fine if you turn then to the person that did it. Hey,
Starting point is 00:12:51 I accidentally sipped out of your drink and I go get it refilled again for you. Yeah. Or I mean, you know. Yeah, I mean, I would have done that. I would have been like, oh my God, I'm sorry. Dude, I got to get you a new drink. Yeah. That's what I would have done.
Starting point is 00:13:04 But I mean, I would have laughed with my partner too. Yeah, yeah. Yeah. Well, it's ridiculous. Yeah. I mean, everyone's done that because of the wrong drink. But that. But what you should have done is up for debate, I guess.
Starting point is 00:13:16 I mean, if I were you, yeah, that's tricky. Bro, you just drank this? I don't know. It depends on what kind of person. You know what? Maybe you should have laughed too and been like, I'm sorry, like, can we figure something out? Like, you want to get me a new drink or something? Like, I'm not trying to be like a dick, but like, you should laugh why.
Starting point is 00:13:36 And they don't say anything and you just say, is there anything you want to tell me? What are you going to say? the movie started. So now you're like in a hushed environment. That does throw. Honestly, what I probably would have done in that situation if the movie was just starting to avoid the back and forth of hey,
Starting point is 00:13:54 can you get me a new drink? I would have just run to the concession stand, dumped the old drink, got a new lid and straw. I think I probably would have done that too. Or honestly. Drink out of me. Yeah. If the person was so,
Starting point is 00:14:06 I wouldn't care that much. It's like the person who cares. Regular. Yeah, exactly. Yeah. Which I'm assuming they probably look like they might have bad. or something, I would go dump it.
Starting point is 00:14:15 The bad breath would affect it? To me, it would be like some kind of potential illness or disease or, you know. Yeah, but that's not really likely. No, I know. That's why I'm saying it would probably actually ultimately have done that. They have bad breath and it just fucked up my straw and shit. It's the whole time your straw smells like their breath? No, but I don't want to talk about it.
Starting point is 00:14:33 How bad is their breath? How bad is it? That's the thing. What I'm asking is how bad could breath be to taint a straw's scent for an entire movie? Oh my God. But I wouldn't stop thinking about it. Well, I have OCD. But yeah, I would, I would, I would probably go run out and do the thing.
Starting point is 00:14:51 I literally am just realizing I look naked. I'm wearing shorts, I swear. Sorry to catch you. He's not. Balls are out. No, so, yeah, anyway. Yeah, I don't. That's a good submission to be perfectly honest.
Starting point is 00:15:08 Yeah, it's a good submission, but I don't know if we have an answer. My answer is I would have, I would have just kept the drink and drink. drinking at unless again in the highly unlikely scenario there was something about the guy that made it seem like that's something yeah but you never know though because also of course you never know i know i know can't go through life being like you never know the chances of something like that or dude have you ever picked up a drink just and you're like and you're like oh i have no idea who's this fucking whose drink this is i've done that and i'm just like oh no like out or like a restaurant you know i don't know i don't have specific memories of
Starting point is 00:15:43 but I've done it where I've been like, who fucking knows whose drink this is? And does it bother you? Oh, well, yeah, but what can you do? You just charge it to the game. You got to suppress it. But does it like stick in your crawl, you think about it? No, I block it out and I suppress it. All right.
Starting point is 00:16:02 I go, oh, fuck. Oh, and then I go, that didn't happen. And then I say, anyway, let's go. So, guys, what are we doing? Nice. You guys ever pick up a wrong drink? It's probably okay, yeah? I don't. I guess I've definitely done that. You ever use the wrong needle?
Starting point is 00:16:23 I hate that. Different story, yeah. Anyway, all right, okay, so next one. This episode is brought to you by FIFA World Cup, launch edition on Netflix. Starting point is 00:17:23 Raffle number 155-2194. Please play responsibly. I cannot stand technology. I'm a certified tech hater. Every time I'm in my car and I start to listen to something, it fucking connects to Bluetooth. And I'm like, I didn't want it at volume 75. I know.
Starting point is 00:17:47 I literally just wanted to listen to it on my phone very briefly at a very low octave. And now you have brought my anxiety level to the tippy top of my fucking head. So now I have to deal with that. And then also you disconnected from Bluetooth randomly. So now I didn't even get to finish what I was fucking trying to listen to in the first place. That's the most annoying part. Fuck Bluetooth. I agree with you.
Starting point is 00:18:11 I agree with you. I kind of wholeheartedly. They got to get this fucking figured out. And I don't know what the answer is. I haven't thought about it. But like there's a, on the 101, I drive past a certain area, my Bluetooth, my phone will just disconnect in my car. Every single.
Starting point is 00:18:28 Yeah, there are spots in my neighborhood where that'll happen. I mean, yeah. It's not the Audi, is it? Yeah. Not me. The Audi sucks with the. It's not me with my Audi with just one plate, one intersection. It would always just.
Starting point is 00:18:40 Yeah. I don't think it's just Audi. It's not just Audi though. Well, the Audi Bluetooth sucks. My, my Porsche one is. good. My... Bragging.
Starting point is 00:18:48 My private jet one's amazing. No. My Porsche one's good. The BMW we have is amazing. But it... The BMW is the one that cuts out for me. Oh, really? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:18:58 Dude, it's just... It drives me nuts, man. I'll be listening to an audio book. I'm trying to figure out, you know... What happens next in Congo? Next what? Next in Congo and then you get cut out? Congo?
Starting point is 00:19:12 Congo's a book. The book. Yeah, I like the joke. I like that joke. Oh. I do. I really do. Oh, thanks. You just mumbled it a little bit, but it was great.
Starting point is 00:19:19 Okay. Oh, because what? You can't find out what happens next in Congo? Yeah. That's funny. Thanks, man. You just, you know. I always thought there was like a War of the World style alien underneath the ground where that was happening.
Starting point is 00:19:29 So high. So high was just- You always thought that? Well, no. Every time that happens. Every time, even since why I was two. There's a dormant alien that was disconnecting my Bluetooth. You know?
Starting point is 00:19:39 That goes through your head. Hey, it's not that, man. Yo, real quick, it's not that. I mean, that's the last thing. You can't prove. But it's not. Yeah, we don't know. Sure.
Starting point is 00:19:48 Just like a prankster universe. The same iterative fix over and over again. All right. So sick-ass Congo reference. Yeah, I don't like to. I agree with this lady. You know, I don't like it. I don't, I don't, I don't, I don't like how when you play it on your phone, it, it's a two seconds later, the audio.
Starting point is 00:20:14 I want them to figure it the fuck out. the audio then continued the thing at the very least. Yeah, I don't need, but I don't need it. Here's the thing. I don't need Bluetooth, you know, so figure it out first, then release it. This is one of those things. I'm fine if there's no Bluetooth in my car. Really?
Starting point is 00:20:32 Yeah, I don't give a fuck. The fact that they have it, I want it. But like, I don't care, dude. I'll listen to things on my phone. For you, maybe and her, I'm Me Too. I think I would appreciate this. If you get in the car, you have to hit Bluetooth on before. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:20:45 I would love that. I love that. And you can do that, but you have to go in to all the shit. Dude, there should just be like a fucking physical button. Right. That's what I'm saying. Bluetooth on. Yes, right.
Starting point is 00:20:56 Yeah. You know how fucking much better that would be? I'll be better, yeah. But people would be like, oh, it's not futuristic. Dude, I hate fucking hate Bluetooth, dude. I mean, wow. I really do. I'm with this girl.
Starting point is 00:21:10 She hates technology in general. I mean, it's getting out of hand. Yeah, I understand that. I don't, you know, I don't know if I hate all technology. Some of it's good, you know. I mean, I agree with it. That's why I, it's why biohack. Biotech?
Starting point is 00:21:26 Biotech. How about that guy who's got an autoimmune disease now, that fucking guy who's trying to live forever? Trying to bring us down, my friend? No, no, no, no, but it's just like, I'm optimal health. The irony of it? Yeah, yeah, yeah. Brian Johnson, when he turned. I mean, I loved, I liked making jokes about Brian Johnson, and now I can't,
Starting point is 00:21:44 because why because he's got a fucking autoimmune disease that's going to ruin his life some of some of those autoimmune disease aren't really that bad this one's really bad and really rare yeah oh fuck yeah he's fucked um but like when he was doing that the shit that would like turn his skin blue and he would live stream his uh what was it his DMT trips right or or was it um mushrooms only anyway he did that thing with his girlfriend's vagina right right right right Like, he's just such a crazy guy. Yeah, yeah. I don't understand why we...
Starting point is 00:22:15 So he's so easy to make fun of it, and he's one of those rich people that we love it. All of the disease, and now it's no fun anymore. And now it's no fun anymore. He had to ruin the fun by getting it. He ruined the phone by getting an autoimmune disease. Thanks, Brian. What I don't get is...
Starting point is 00:22:25 No, but for real, I feel bad for him. Of course. What I don't understand is why we act like crazy people aren't crazy. There are two things that is... That's very annoying with the Internet. People take crazy people for real. Like, okay, I'm thinking of, okay, yeah. I mean, you could name 10 off the top of the top.
Starting point is 00:22:46 Yeah, yeah. And then people purposely misunderstand your point to, to, to, uh, they're going to post of your own. Yes. Okay. To further their agenda. Yes. You know, you know it's not what, whatever, take what you want about Ben Shapiro,
Starting point is 00:23:08 uh, uh, uh, uh, AOC, whoever. both sides. You know what they mean and they purposely take it to mean something else and drive their point home. That is... Do you understand what I'm saying?
Starting point is 00:23:23 It's essentially a straw man, no? Like you say that this is what you're... It's similar to a straw man, but it's... Tell me if this is... What? I had a clip of my show go viral recently.
Starting point is 00:23:34 It was me arguing with a troll in the comments about a clip that was playing. Yeah. The clip that was playing, in the clip that went viral, I wasn't even referring to. I was referring to the person in the comments. Okay, yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:23:52 Part of the reason, if not the reason, it went viral, was because people were in there defending the guy that I was on the screen in the interview, not the guy I was arguing with. And I was like, I mean... It is like that, yeah. It's like that, right? You want to make a point about the guy I'm not talking about?
Starting point is 00:24:09 That's not what... You know that's not what I'm talking about. Yes. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah. What was the first one again? The crazy people or something? We just, we, there are people who are mentally ill and we treat them as functional members of society that move things forward.
Starting point is 00:24:26 And it's, that's not okay. Like, I'm not saying, like, look, you know, people say, you know, Elon must Donald Trump, whoever the fuck's crazy. That is understood. You have to then, that doesn't mean, though, that because they're so powerful that we have to listen to everything they say, you know, like we have to take what they say with a grain of salt. Nobody's discerning anything anymore. It's just, oh, well, that's that. Yes, critical thinking is that a, yeah, I mean, that's kind of what I, I guess what I'm saying. Yeah. Yeah, discernment is not. When next time I, next time I have a post, I see a post where someone's purposely doing that, I'll send it. And I'll do it. because that's kind of an example of it, but there are a perfect example of it, and I'll send it to you guys,
Starting point is 00:25:13 and we'll have a fucking blast talking about it. Sounds like a fucking party. Yeah, yeah. Great. Wow. He's excited. Great, can't wait. Wow.
Starting point is 00:25:21 I had the idea first. Yeah. Yeah. All right. So yeah, I'm kind of with her. Yeah, I mean, I'm not a Luddite. I don't hate technology. I'm not anti-advancement technologically.
Starting point is 00:25:33 I'm just like, I'm at the Unabom. So much of it is clearly not. optimal yet, first of all, like Bluetooth. And it's invasive, it's pervasive, it's fucking annoying, it's ubiquitous. People down on their phone constantly
Starting point is 00:25:48 looking at shit about chat GDPD when they could just be asking, I don't know, you. You know what I mean? There's things like that that are just endlessly annoying. But also it helps us. So you can't, for me, I can't just be like,
Starting point is 00:25:59 I hate technology, you know, but I get, I get the crash out about the Bluetooth, for sure. For sure. All right. Is she just mad Like what? When stuff doesn't work?
Starting point is 00:26:10 Is that what she's complaining? No, she's talked Well, she specifically talked about the Bluetooth thing Which is very fucking annoying. Yeah, but if it worked seamlessly, if that didn't happen, she wouldn't be mad at the test. Oh, I wonder, I don't know.
Starting point is 00:26:22 Maybe. We don't know. We don't know. We don't know. We don't know. We don't know. We don't know. Maybe she'd call back in,
Starting point is 00:26:27 get her lip synced and it'll be all right. Yeah. Get the volume right. I'll call you back. I'm getting my lip synced. All right. Chris, Matt. Hell you.
Starting point is 00:26:36 What's up? Chris, I've been a fan of yours ever since you uploaded. Weirdest set ever, like 15 years ago or something. You're literally my favorite comedian. I've seen you three times. You helped me get through some really dark times in my life. I thank you for that. Matt, I met you once before on the private record.
Starting point is 00:26:53 I'm the guy, drug runner, Zeta cartel, federal prison, all that. Oh, that's him? I appreciate you both. I'm sending this message to you because I just experienced a really significant loss in my life. My dog, Freddie, little Bijan, I had for 18 years when I first rescued him from the rush hour traffic on a major street. I was still in a meth addict. I was still doing crime. But he and I were thickest thieves best friends ever since then.
Starting point is 00:27:28 Since then, he was with me through the federal indictment, through recovery, through becoming a drug and alcohol counselor, through the birth of my one and only seven-year-old son, Peter. And I'm 56. I'm 56. He's 7. He's winning. But in any case, I'm messaging you because I want to honor the loss of Freddie. I had him for 18 years. He was my best friend in the whole world. I'm devastated. I had to put him down two weeks ago. I'm thinking about getting a tattoo. I want to keep him close to me. I want to see his face every day still.
Starting point is 00:28:04 And I was thinking about getting a tattoo with his face on my body somewhere. But I'm not sure if that would look good or not. I was thinking about my hand, but I'm old and wrinkly. So I wanted to get some advice from you guys about either what kind of tattoo wear and or any advice around what not to do or any other ideas you might have for me to honor Freddie, who was my home and got me through everything. Damn. So thank you.
Starting point is 00:28:30 This guy. Sweet post, sweet guy. First of all, I just want to say, I. There's cute. There's Freddie. Going to make me cry for sure. That's cool. It looks like Hank.
Starting point is 00:28:39 Yeah. Is Hank a Bish on? No, he was a Havon. I ain't have any. I myself had a dog that I was a drug addict while I had her got clean and went through that whole process with her. So not that that necessarily is going to bind you more, but when you go, my point is when you go through extreme life incidents with a pet at your side, you can feel a bond closer than you would maybe otherwise. So that can intensify the pain and lost and all that. 18 years is a long time anyway.
Starting point is 00:29:24 Yeah. 18 years is almost two whole decades. Yeah. Billy when she died, she was 17. I've long thought about getting a tattoo, commemorating her, but I wouldn't, this is just me,
Starting point is 00:29:40 you do what you want. I wouldn't do Billy's face on me. I would get her name in a typeface that I like somewhere that is not, you know, visible to the world. So that's different. It makes it a little different. Did he specifically?
Starting point is 00:29:57 He said, I want to see her. face every day. Then I would do it somewhere that is a place that maybe on like here or something. Yeah, I would do that's where I was going to think about it. Like over your heart maybe even like something symbolic like that. Indian chief, but yeah. You don't want to. I mean, maybe you do. If it's on your hand, everyone will be like, tell me about the dog. You might like that. Yeah, you might like that. Yeah, you might like that. Yeah. But like it might become something of a distraction. Right. At some point. Yeah. I was going to say just right here, get a little one. Yeah. And then, you know, even if, I mean, it's on you and it's not like you can't see it whenever you want.
Starting point is 00:30:30 You see it when you wake up every day. Yeah. Well, that's if he sleeps shirtless, which I'm sure he does because he's a hunk, you know? Yeah. But also in the mirror, you know. Mm-hmm. Well, then you have to get the face backwards. But it's a dog, so it's pretty symmetrical anyway.
Starting point is 00:30:44 Yeah. Get it just dead on. You don't have to worry about that. Right on. Look. Get it over your face. That would be haunting. Yeah, that would be too much, maybe.
Starting point is 00:30:53 But yeah, that's, yeah, I would say that. You could do it on your hand. Old and Rinkly, I mean, whatever. I guess you're only going to get more old and wrinkly, but that is a fact of the life, yes. Also, when you get tattoos on your hand, usually I didn't do it, but usually you do it out that way. So you'd have to do that anyway, but I didn't. I'm sorry, can you've. Like, if you're going to get a face.
Starting point is 00:31:15 I can't see. If you were going to get a face, you would get the face that way. Oh, right. You wouldn't get it this way. Yes, yeah, of course. So you could look at it like that. Right, right. But that's against the tattoo rules, but I mean, you can still do it.
Starting point is 00:31:28 Yeah, I would just do it exactly what he said right there. Yeah. I think that would be great. That's what I have. I have a tattoo for each of my dogs. Oh, yeah. I got Barney here. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 00:31:37 That's the children show on. And then I've got. The one with the quote says, I love you. It's her paws. She crosses her legs. And so. That was when she got arrested. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:31:46 So I have a tattoo of her like crossed legs. He could do something like that. True. Yeah. Not the face. If, if the. If the face thing is like... If there's like a physical thing that she did, that he did that, like, made them...
Starting point is 00:31:58 Yeah, but I don't like how you guys are not respecting that he said he wanted to see her face every day. Not respecting that. We're offering ideas, which is what he's asking. Yeah, yeah, yeah, but he said he wanted to see the face every day, so it's fine. So if you got type face or if you got that, cause, it'd be a little different than that. And that's not what he said. You don't always need to, if you're going to commemorate somebody with a tattoo, it doesn't always need to be a face. Even though he says he wanted to see a face.
Starting point is 00:32:18 Okay. And you guys are disrespect to him. And that's not cool. No, he could also get a portrait of the fucking dog and hang. Hang it above his. Oh, like a piece like this, like a flib of flay? No, no, no, no. Oh, lock it.
Starting point is 00:32:26 He can do a locket and a tattoo of the name. A painting and hang it in his house and then get a symbolic different tattoo. Can't care around. That's not the face somewhere in his body. Yeah, he get a painting or a picture in every room in his house. But if he's traveling, you won't see it. Take it with him. And a locket.
Starting point is 00:32:39 That's what I'm saying. Yeah. I mean, he has a, he has options. Fuck, I do. You know what you can do? Get a, get a portrait. Hang it up. Put a camera up to it.
Starting point is 00:32:49 There's a live feed. and then if he's on vacation you could just look at his phone yeah figured it down that would work too because he wants to see his face every day you have many options right not but yeah
Starting point is 00:33:00 here here on the face you look in a mirror people won't ask you about it um yeah I really liked this guy's submission yeah and I'm sorry about your sorry about your dog you seem like a really nice guy
Starting point is 00:33:12 uh and to make it about me not to make it about me that's crazy that set I uploaded was so long I go, wow. I don't even know what he's referring to. The dog was three. Dude, I think it was over 15 years ago.
Starting point is 00:33:26 Yeah. The dog was very young. Yeah. Sorry, he said three. What bit did he say? I'm saying, what bit did he refer to? He said it was 15 years ago. Oh, did he not reference the bit?
Starting point is 00:33:38 No, he knows the, the, the, the, you just don't want to tell me? I don't understand. I'm asking what bit he was referring to. Oh, I uploaded a set at the laugh factory call, where I said, weirdest set ever. Oh, okay, got you. And... 14 years ago. It was 14.
Starting point is 00:33:52 Uh-huh. Oh, I thought it was more than that. Okay. Wow. Dog was four. So it was July 25th. It was almost exactly 14 years ago. Almost to this day, 14 years or 15 years.
Starting point is 00:34:04 15, got it 15. In 10 days, it'll be 15 years. Wow, we got to have a party, like an anniversary or something. You're so skinny in this. Well, I was, yeah. That wasn't 200. I'll tell you that much. It was 176.
Starting point is 00:34:17 That's what I was always for so long. Anyway. All right. Sorry about your loss, man. Yeah, sorry, dude. Seem like such a nice guy. That's cool. You got the kid there.
Starting point is 00:34:25 That's nice. I've been through that. That's tough, but you'll be good. My name is Peter Parker, but I'm also Spider-Man. This July, we're faced with a threat. That can be anyone. The world may have forgotten Peter Parker. I'm just a neighbor, friendly neighbor.
Starting point is 00:34:43 But he hasn't forgotten them. Sometimes Spider-Man has to do the hard thing. That's my responsibility. Talk to Benner? I didn't know you could get that big. Spider-Man, brand-new day. In theaters, July 31st. The first ever, all-electric, 2026 Subaru Trail Seeker

Starting point is 00:35:58 I'm kind of on the episode about Chris is trying to explain something about Proverbs and money. And, yeah, it's kind of stupid. But it kind of made sense. And I think what Chris is trying to say is that like if you have a certain amount of money, you know more money's coming later. You're more inclined to spend within the means of the money you have right now, which is less before that new check, that new money hits.
Starting point is 00:36:18 So you're working within a smaller parameter versus waiting to have more money to spend money, especially if you're like an impulsive person, which what I assume Chris is, is if you have a bigger sum of money and you're looking at this thing you want to get, now you're looking at it relative to the bigger pot and you're like, oh, I can get that and some other shit. But if you're working with a smaller slice, a smaller amount from the smaller amount to begin with, you're just very like, what do I actually absolutely want and need to spend out of this smaller pot. So at the end of the day, what you spent once you've gotten paid, what you are left with is more because you didn't spend from the money you didn't get yet. You spent from the little bit you had, but you spent that little bit you had, knowing you were going to get more, right? I don't know how it made into a proverb, but it makes sense, I think. That's too long of a proverb. My shit. is, yes, that is what I meant. I don't ever, I don't ever want to have to say all those words. So the proverb that I was suggesting is spend the money before you get it. Before you get it, yeah. Yeah, I still.
Starting point is 00:37:10 And everyone's like, what do you mean? And I get, yes, this is what I mean. But I want you to understand. But I want you to understand. I'm on the other side even more now. Oh. Because it's immaterial. At the end of the day, you have the same amount of money.
Starting point is 00:37:23 I'm lost. If you spend, you want something that's $1,000. You happen to have $1,500. Right. You know in a week you're going to get $3,000. Right. Your argument would be, get the thing now. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:37:40 Okay. What he's saying is it'll, by the time the money comes in, the surplus will seem like the bigger surplus. What I'm saying is the, the net total will remain the same regardless whenever you buy the thing. Yeah. So really it just comes down to
Starting point is 00:38:04 are you conservative or are you impulsive with your money? Right. I'm impulsive. With everything. My only thing with the conservative aspect is because of the business I have worked in my whole life. Yeah, yeah, yeah. You're told you're going to get paid on next day?
Starting point is 00:38:18 That's a little different. That'll be in eight months, you know? But that, you know, that's not most jobs. So, so that's, yeah. Yeah, but I do enjoy what that guy was saying, but also he said it was stupid, but also he agreed with it. So he didn't mean it was stupid. What did you think about the fact that he had gum in his mouth the whole time? Yeah, that's not good.
Starting point is 00:38:38 You know what? I think take the gum out for the submissions. It doesn't really matter, but, but. Right. It's a respecting, but. Oh, you think it's a respecting? Yeah. Armenian.
Starting point is 00:38:49 Eh, eh, eh. Hey, don't, eh, if you're going to put, you. your face on the front camera like that and talk to me, dog. Don't have anything in your mouth. That's disrespect. I don't have shit in my mouth when I'm talking to you, dog. And maybe I should. If you're going to do it.
Starting point is 00:39:08 Now, eat all your food or you have an ugly way. I mean, a proverb. Armenian proverb. Yeah, it is. Sorry, I do really. Like the only people who talk about disrespecting people are Armenians. I mean, it's them in Italians. Yeah, Italians, I mean, yeah.
Starting point is 00:39:25 There's a lot of overlap there, I got to say. But, yeah. Well, you don't think it's gross? Yeah, disrespect isn't, I mean, it's not, I wouldn't say it's like respectful. You know what I'm saying? But it's not the thing that comes to mind for me. For me, it's like, get the fucking gross thing out of your mouth while you're speaking to the public. Yeah, but I guess to me, those are hand in hand.
Starting point is 00:39:48 Sure. Yeah, you're saying that, that is disrespectful. Like, I always go back and forth where it's like, if it's like, if, you're at the dinner table do you wear a hat like to me i still think that that's kind of annoying oh what are you tony soprano i know i know i know but i've always like a grandpa band i know i know i know i know it's an old school thing but it's like you're sitting having dinner with me i can't see your fucking face if you have a brim over oh okay take your hat all sure but that's not the reason people that's like a that's like a good reason people people think it's
Starting point is 00:40:24 Manors. Like it comes from like a manners thing. Yeah, okay. Right. Yeah. To you, it's not that. To you, it's like, I want to see your face if you're at my dinner with me. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:40:32 Yeah. Yeah. Okay. Yeah. But that's a respect thing. Tony Soprano. You're not going to fucking let me see your face when we're having an intimate dinner. Miro Malka agrees.
Starting point is 00:40:43 Who's that? My dad. Yeah. Who the fuck you think you are, right? Take off the hat. I mean, I, things will go better for your family. I keep my hat on. I just turn it backwards.
Starting point is 00:40:53 Would that bother you? More disrespectful. More disrespectful? No. More disrespectful. Really, dude? Yeah. Oh, you're so casual.
Starting point is 00:41:01 When we go to fucking Chili's? I mean, yeah, I mean, I'm not going to wear a hat to a fancy restaurant regardless. I'll want my baby back, baby back. I'm sorry, sir, you have to leave. Chili's baby back. Halt, halt, halt. Sir, turn it around or get out? I'm saying in your...
Starting point is 00:41:21 Yeah, I would rather just take the fucking... out of unless you got a fucking crazy bad hair. But what if I'm saying, would it be as disrespectful to you? No, you should turning it backwards is better. Okay. So it's a, it's a difference. Yeah, I can't. It's about, I want to have a talk.
Starting point is 00:41:37 Which you can do when it's backwards. Yeah, I mean, if it's, and if it's forward, it feels like you might, you know. You might be up to something. It'll be high. What are we doing? We got a hot, what are we whispering? Like, what the fucking? It's like the departed.
Starting point is 00:41:50 What? Like they're wearing the hats all over. Oh, right. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I don't know. But I understand it is an old-school thing. I also have a fucking thing, dude. Wearing a wife beater at dinner drives me nuts.
Starting point is 00:42:03 Oh, that's that way. You got to go far and wide for that, no? Well, I wouldn't say that, but what do you mean? You don't mean tank top. You mean specifically the ribbed white. I kind of mean, I kind of mean tank top, but specifically that is worse. I can't remember the last time I was. like in the presence of somebody that just
Starting point is 00:42:25 yeah, okay, well you'll see now because it happens. I mean, I believe you, I can't remember last time either, but that was, I mean, that would. Not even like at the gym. Oh, at the fucking, at the restaurant at the gym? Really? No, but. Oh, you're talking about even at the gym.
Starting point is 00:42:38 Yeah, even at the gym. Oh, yeah. I haven't even been in the presence of somebody wearing only in a wife beater since. No pants? Since like 9-11. He's no. Oh, wow.
Starting point is 00:42:48 I mean, this guy. You watch the Twin Towers fall with a guy with the, with a wife Peter and no pants on. I did. Just standing right next to him. Oh, no. I did. Oh, no.
Starting point is 00:42:57 The beginning of the end. That is a, that is a crazy declaration what he just said. Because we all know, listening, everyone listening, everyone here, we all know it's not true. He's definitely seen a person with a wife beater on. Eating, you know. In the past 25 years. 25 years, dude. I mean, I wear one all the time, you know.
Starting point is 00:43:26 No, you don't. You know what? I'll push back on that. You don't. Do you eat in them? Not at a restaurant. At home is fine, yeah. You're specifically saying at a restaurant.
Starting point is 00:43:39 Yeah. Or if that's heathen shit. Yeah, yeah. Oh, you agree? Yeah, 100%. Oh, okay. I just thought you meant in general. Like you were at home.
Starting point is 00:43:46 If you're home, who cares? I mean, I guess if you're at your friend's house and they put together a dinner, don't do it either. Of course. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah. Proper social setting. Don't wear a wife beater. And I have it even one that makes me even more mad.
Starting point is 00:43:58 Huh? A crown. A crown to dinner? No. If your penis is out on the table, no. If you wear a black wife beater. I had that thought. Really?
Starting point is 00:44:09 Yep. Why is that worse, though? Because if you're going to wear that shirt. Yes. What do you say? What do you say? It's a style choice. That's a style.
Starting point is 00:44:16 Because if you're going to wear that shirt, it's a non-choice of a style. Yes. It's just you're wearing it. Yes. When you choose black, you are making a style choice. Totally right. You're exactly right. Where do you go, Taylor?
Starting point is 00:44:28 Anthony would have never. Never ever would have Anthony. Anthony would have been like this? What's a wife, Peter? That's terrible. He should be locked up. Yeah. No, you know what he said?
Starting point is 00:44:36 I have a lot of black shirts. That's what he would have said. That's what he would have said. But wait, guys, I wear a lot of black shirts. Yeah. We love you, Anthony. And then he would text me on the side and say, was that about me? Do you think the guys like have a problem?
Starting point is 00:44:49 And in and then not even having to do with any of that, I would have texted him yes. Even though I didn't know he texted you that or you texted me that. Hey, Matt and Chris. So a quick question. When it comes to movies, people take issue with something like Tom Cruise playing Jack creature because he's too small or Hugh Jackman playing P.T. Barnum and the greatest showman because P.T. Barnum was a short, fat, ugly guy.
Starting point is 00:45:19 I hope he used animals. I didn't sing, didn't have Zendaya as part of his team. Chris, I know you've mentioned, like, they should just cast who they want to cast
Starting point is 00:45:29 and do the movie. Matt was wondering if you have any insight on this. Personally, I don't want a movie to be perfectly historically accurate. I want to be drawn in and entertained.
Starting point is 00:45:39 History's typically pretty boring. Yeah, what are your thoughts on this? Yeah, I mean, you, if you are going to, Take the greatest showman, which is, well, I mean, I don't want to talk about that movie, but Take the Greatest Showman, which is a movie I will never see in the history of the world. Greatestown, exactly, yeah. Hugh Jackman is a huge movie star.
Starting point is 00:46:00 He's a very handsome, beloved movie star who is highly capable at musical theater. Right. But you want to get. If you're out there in the world, if you're out there in the world and you're like, this is a movie, and it's a musical, the movie's a music. Right. Ned Beatty is saying. And if you are out there in the world and you think. what is this
Starting point is 00:46:21 a historical garbage P.T. Barnum was a short, fat, tooth rotten guy. Like, what, what are you looking for
Starting point is 00:46:32 in movies? Yeah, you still want the musical and the musical numbers, but you need him to look like he actually looked. Like, where's your head at?
Starting point is 00:46:42 Well, that's the thing. I, I don't, it's not, it's not going to be accurate anyway. If you get the real P.T.
Starting point is 00:46:53 Barnum and you reanimate him as a person, you get his DNA and you remake him and then make the movie, it's still not going to be accurate. So it's just let the movie be the movie and take it as it is. Also, that looks just like Hugh Jack. What was the first example we used besides this one?
Starting point is 00:47:10 He used a different actor. Oh, Tom Cruise is Jack Richard. That's in, too short to do what? Like, what are you talking about? Like you have a, you're gripe with the movie Jack Reacher is Tom Cruise's height. I've heard about this a lot, though, because what on earth are you looking for in a movie? Well, yes, but I've heard about this because there's the people who think, people don't like, part of the book is that he's this whole thing.
Starting point is 00:47:32 Oh, right, right, right, like in the show. It's part of, yeah, it's part of the character. And so I understand people who are fans of the book, they go, oh, that sucks. But here's the thing. It's source material. And then you, you as a filmmaker, you go, I want to make this movie. Does it really matter that he's that big? Or do I want to make the movie about a different thing?
Starting point is 00:47:55 And Tom Cruise is number one action movie star. I mean, do what you want. Who cares? He's Tom Cruise. Yeah, it's a little bit. Of course you're going to put him in your action movie if he wants to be in your action movie as the titular character. I mean, he's six, five, 250 pounds. in the books.
Starting point is 00:48:17 So that's where I would say gives the shit. I understand there are fans with books that are like, well, that's not what fucking, I'm gonna fuck it up the names. Gandalf really looked like or whatever the fuck. But like, it's,
Starting point is 00:48:29 it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's,
Starting point is 00:48:33 it's, it's, it's not gonna be literally exactly everything that was on the page. I don't like the thing where people are like, oh, you're supposed to look like this, about fictional characters especially, but historical characters too. It's like,
Starting point is 00:48:44 who gives this shit, man? Yeah. It's a, fucking movie. It's not a documentary about the person. And also, I love how Alan Richard says he doesn't do steroids. Remember when he got caught on camera, like beating that guy out or something? That was wild.
Starting point is 00:48:59 That guy, from what it looked like, kind of deserved it. I didn't know the story, but just wild that was on camera. You know what I mean? I mean, yeah. But, um, uh, I could beat the fucking shit at Alan Richard. Really? He's very big. He's really big.
Starting point is 00:49:14 And probably experienced now with fighting. with all the stunts. Yeah, with this on Reacher, yeah. He was probably already in shape with that stuff. I think because I personally think he could crush you. Yeah, no, I'm getting that sense from you. I'm just saying I know deep in my heart that if Alan Richardson and I went one-on-one, Tot-to-to-to-to-to-that I would absolutely-absolutely-destroy him and I would be unscated.
Starting point is 00:49:37 I wouldn't even have like a tag. Oh, there wouldn't be, like a match even. You'd just take him to task. Yeah, it would be like a few seconds. Yeah. I actually think... I would have no scratches on me. I wouldn't even be winded.
Starting point is 00:49:49 And he would be... You'd be crumpled on the ground. So I think that the exact opposite. I think that the exact opposite would... He... Yeah. I mean, that's fair. I get...
Starting point is 00:50:07 I get what you're coming from. Based on size afterwards. Yeah. Yeah. People would probably pick you up and then just throw you on the ground and then break your whole body. Yeah, I hear you.
Starting point is 00:50:15 And then you'd go... be like, anyway, I got to go to the mall or whatever the fuck. It's just a difference of opinion. I get what you're saying and I hear where you're coming from.
Starting point is 00:50:21 I just happen to no differently. I fall on the other side, but yeah. Yeah, I don't know. That's so big. That guy's so big. He's big,
Starting point is 00:50:31 yeah. Big guys, big guys, huh? Seems like a cool dude. His politics are weird, but he seems like a kind of weird dude in general now. Yeah. Yeah, he's got to be weird.
Starting point is 00:50:39 I mean, come on, dude. Of course he's weird, yeah. Yeah, he's an actor. Yeah, I know. I know, dude. I know. All right. Hi, Chris.
Starting point is 00:50:48 Hi, Matt. Longtime fan. Chris, years ago when you went to the Steeple Theater in St. Louis, me and my sister went to your show. And it was wonderful. And I remember almost all of it to this day. Wow. Thank you. I have a question, though.
Starting point is 00:51:04 It's kind of a deeper and more like, oh, crap kind of question. I have a history of mental health issues and self-medicating to mask my. social, crippling social anxiety and to make me not so tense and, yeah, high strung. I was diagnosed with bipolar disorder and medicated for such, but last year in December I sought out a new diagnosis because I was not taking any of the medications I was on for the bipolar and I didn't show any traditional symptoms of such and I've had people you know in my life point that out if anything it all kind of presented itself as depression and lo and behold I am what's called we used to be called ADD but it's inattentive ADHD and I'm on the spectrum and you know
Starting point is 00:52:04 it's been hard but I've been figuring my life out I've been put on the great the great medications to calm myself down My emotional regulation is a hell of a lot better. Like I, my life has done a complete 180 cents, you know, getting the right help and the right support. But the irritability and the rage that comes with it is still there. My crash outs have minimized on the intensity, but I'm not where I want to be. And I feel terrible because I feel that people feel they need to walk on eggshells around me. when 90% of it is my own crap,
Starting point is 00:52:45 but nobody seems to kind of like understand when I say like I need a minute or like I have and I've had enough. Like I need to go and relax and isolate for a little bit. I'm kind of seen as rude. So it presents itself in ways that I don't like. And I need help on. tips to minimize and catch myself when I'm starting to feel like that and help navigating that. So thank you guys. I love you.
Starting point is 00:53:25 Have a great day. Love you too. That's cool though. That you know all that, though. I mean, it sounds like you're definitely heading in the right direction. Yeah, dealing with it in the right way. Incredible. Yeah, that's tough.
Starting point is 00:53:38 I was going to say, we have. a friend who's on the spectrum who I've seen him do it. When he introduces himself to people, he tells people what his not, it's not exactly how it manifests for you, but he tells people I'm like this. So if I'm, if I do the X, Y, Z, you guys have a friend? We do. Maybe you've never seen him do this.
Starting point is 00:54:02 I don't know. But he'll like announce it to a group of people that he's meeting and being like, if I'm this, I don't want to air a shit out. But like, if this happens or if that happens like, it's because of this thing. It's not because of something any of you did or or anybody's fault. It's just like these things might happen and that's just part of who I am. And it and I've,
Starting point is 00:54:24 I've seen it have an immensely positive effect on his interactions with people because then they're, they know, A, what to expect, B, nothing's personal and C, it's like,
Starting point is 00:54:35 I get where all this is coming from. So it's not like he sits there and like gives him a fucking pamphlet. But he just, like briefly just casually says it, you know? Yeah. And I'm not saying do that, but that works and I've seen it work. Like, you know, there's a difference between being like something catches you off guard and you become extremely emotional and anxious, whatever it is.
Starting point is 00:54:58 And you're angry, irritable, whatever. And you need to run off into the other room. People would be like, what the fuck's wrong with her? And they would not be wrong to think that necessarily. but if they knew that this is a thing that happens and it has nothing to do with those people, it has nothing to do with whatever, they know that it might happen,
Starting point is 00:55:19 then they won't think, what the fuck is wrong with her? They'll think, oh, she's having a moment, she'll be right back. You know what I mean? Like, getting ahead of it with your friends and especially people
Starting point is 00:55:28 are close to your family, whatever, can do a lot. Yeah, it's hard for, especially for like somebody like me to deal with that. It's hard because I'm like codependent and shit. So I'll be like, you'll need a moment and I'll be like, why? Are you okay?
Starting point is 00:55:45 You know, you don't want that. So I get it. But I don't know. Maybe just start screaming out, it's happening again. You know, like you're turning into a whirl. No, I just feel, yeah, you're doing, it sounds like you're doing it all right. And that's sad. but you're dealing with it.
Starting point is 00:56:08 I mean, look, on the, look, at the grand scheme of things, everyone has their shit, and this isn't the end of the world, and the people who are close to you are the ones that matter so they know that this happens. I mean, if you're flipping out daily
Starting point is 00:56:21 on fucking people like the mailman, it's a different problem, but, you know, maybe you need medication. Which is what I do, yeah. Yeah, I live for a mailman and just go flip out on it. But, not even mine, but, um, you fucking do a mail today?
Starting point is 00:56:33 So, uh, again? We got to deal off or whatever the fuck. You just has a blue shirt on? No, I'm not. So anyway, I, yeah. That's tough. It sucks, man.
Starting point is 00:56:47 Because sometimes when you're stressed and when you, when you, because when I get stressed, oh my God, it sucks, right? You think about, you think about animals and stuff. You know, I always think about like, what's that book? Zebras don't get ulcers or whatever. Huh? It's good literally that's what the book's called like zebras don't get I know what book you're talking about and it's like because they don't worry ever yeah unless they have to yeah there's a lion next to him
Starting point is 00:57:19 you know why zebras yeah and it's like we have a low low-grade we have a low-grade anxiety at all times now everyone you know and it's just that author has severe OCD oh really he's a he's a he's a very preeminent uh what what is his title what is he of something physicist not physicist biologists why zebras don't get ulcers or dance around in a circle like that um neuroscientist there we go well it's a smart thing to think of he's a brain guy yeah yeah i mean is your point what is your point sorry it it's i get when things are too much and you want to fucking flip out like i i'm kind of there with you in a way yeah also i suffer from depression and i often have to i'll be out and i'll have to be like i have to be at home and why do i have to be
Starting point is 00:58:21 at home there isn't a reason i just feel like i have to be at home and that is not explicable to people to who don't suffer from the specific thing i suffer from so they're just like what's What the fuck is wrong with Matt? Why does he be at home for 10 minutes and then come back? I don't have a reason. It's a part of whatever fucking my brain is up to, which I have no control over. But like, I'll often have to step out of a room to like fucking pull down the anxiety, whatever. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:58:53 It's less than what you're describing, but there are ways to explain it to people. Yeah. So that they're not like, what's this asshole doing, just leaving in the middle of a conversation. my thing is like if sometimes I immediately I'm like I want to have sex with my wife you know and if she's like no or I can't then I'm like well you're not going to like how much of the kitchen is covered in fucking peanut butter in a little bit then you know because I'll do all that and like to act out my thing yeah I just go into this fucking like a monkey I mean no I would say that because I carefully kind of like you don't do it Like a monkey, but I put it on the handles because I know someone's gonna have to open it and get it that way.
Starting point is 00:59:44 And then when she does that, I go like this, well, you should have sex with me. That's fucking, so that's like my thing that I'm dealing with, right? So like I do understand. So, you know, because I hate on the other end, I'm there on like, oh yeah, I know there's peanut butter on the handle of the stove of the oven.
Starting point is 01:00:05 And that happened because of you, and that sucks. And there's nothing. can do because it's my shit. I don't want to be on a bunch of medication to take care of this. I don't know what we're going to do. We have to come to some sort of, you know, next time, I guess. Maybe we make love.
Starting point is 01:00:21 Coercion. 100% coercion. You don't have a fucking house full of peanut butter. It sucks. Like you have nothing to do with it. Like it's just a thing that happens. And I got to get all this peanut butter too on my downtime. It's just fucking like I'm, I got to go to supermarket at some point get peanut
Starting point is 01:00:41 because I know that this is going to happen. Making her want to have sex with you so much less. So let's just drop it and let's make love whenever I want. She's already left the room for sure. Okay then. See you later. She's driving off. I come in.
Starting point is 01:00:57 Baby want to have sex? Yeah, so anyway. No, it's tough. It's tough. It's hard out there for a pimp, you know what I mean? It is hard out there. there for a pimp specifically because pimping is illegal and you're going to get arrested. So anyway, that's it for us. We appreciate you. Lifeline. We love you. I'll be in Springfield,
Starting point is 01:01:23 Missouri, Spokane, Tulsa, Louisville, Miami. And, well, I'll have already been in Washington, D.C. I think there's one show left tonight if you listen to this on the day it comes out. Tempe, Alpharetta, Georgia, which is basically Atlanta. Come on to see me, chrously.com. Thank you very much. Love you all. Bye. See ya.
