Starting point is 00:00:05 Hello and welcome to episode 53 of the NXT Clubcast, the official podcast of the NXT community. This podcast is recorded live every Thursday at 10m, Pacific's y on the official NXT Discord server and is available to stream on Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts, Spotify, and SoundCloud. Reminder, you're only allowed to listen if you wear a face mask. My name is Dennis, and with me as always is Ivan. I can't believe we've been doing this over one year now. It's pretty insane. it's a really long time for a podcast, I would say. Yeah, I'm already over it, to be honest. Yes, Tim here.
Starting point is 00:00:41 I'm just starting to start like a whole new project. I was like, I used to look forward to it, but then I was like every Wednesday I'm like, and look at the calendar. Like, great podcast tomorrow. Here it comes, right? That's an hour and 45 minutes of Ivan's life, about two to three hours of my life. They're getting dedicated to this thing every week. To be honest, I really should be dedicated.
Starting point is 00:01:04 kidding more like i think from when i when i was like learning about like creating content and stuff they said that you should put in double the time that it like comes out as or something i forget how it is but it's like the the the amount of time that you should like spend preparing um in terms of like you know before and after it should be like a large amount compared to how long the actual runtime is um what i definitely do that imagine yeah It's like if you put out like a five minute YouTube video or something, right? You should spend like 10 hours on it or something. And I'm like, uh, nah, I'm good.
Starting point is 00:01:49 If that was like, if the podcast was the only thing we did, it'd be a lot better. It'd be crazy. Yeah. And that's the thing. It's just like it's all based on some amount of time that we have, right? So I put in as much time as I think I can. I mean, I'm sure I can always put in a little bit more, right? But then I'd be neglecting everything else, right?
Starting point is 00:02:09 Yeah. It's kind of how it works around here. So for those who are wondering who the special guest is today, it's actually you. We're hanging out with you guys today. Seeing what's up. Check in. How you doing? It's doing it right there.
Starting point is 00:02:22 Got any burning questions you want to ask us? I mean, I was going to be chilling for a little bit. You figure we'd just do something really relaxing and save us a trouble having to explain someone how Discord works every week. Yeah. because it's always the same thing, right? Like, wow, someone who says, yeah, I know how to use Discord and there's always like an issue. Right?
Starting point is 00:02:41 There's always something like, did you set your audio correctly? Did you? Yeah. I think it took Ivan about like an hour to get his microphone working now or your headset. My headset, yeah, but I figured it out. What was the solution?
Starting point is 00:02:55 A different headset. Yeah, it's kind of how it works sometimes, right? Yeah. Yeah. Hopefully I have a bunch of headsets for some reason. Yeah. I've only got, I've got the other one in the office, and I'm not allowed in there right now.
Starting point is 00:03:14 So I have to wait until I'm out of quarantine. And I have a clean bill of health, and then I can pop back in and grab some stuff. Yeah. Yeah. How'd you feel about the fire? Please remember to stop by the Poppy Museum while you're at the office. Do you explain that?
Starting point is 00:03:32 Yeah, our podcast studio basically turned into the Poppy Museum. It's literally like my collection of everything I've accumulated while working at NZC the last half decade. It's just stickers, mugs, gifts. And now that, you know, we're not back in the office, I move my computer in there. So it's like, it's literally like my little music. museum. It's like a tribute room to me. Yeah, the last time I was there was kind of weird because I went to my to my normal desk in the bullpen. And Ivan's desk was empty and I'm like, oh, snap, like, did you have to get fired?
Starting point is 00:04:16 Like, I wish you would have told me something. I'm like, oh, no, wait, no. He was, you moved everything to the podcast room. It's like my shrine. Yeah. Get your desk there. You got some boxes. I didn't know what's in the boxes under the desk, but I know there's like a couple boxes down there. I was too scared of check. It's basically stuff that has to get shipped out that hasn't been shipped out yet because I'm not allowed back in the office right now. Yeah. I actually think I was going to start contacting people and letting them know, like, hey, man, can't really ship out.
Starting point is 00:04:46 You know, that thing you've been waiting on because I can't go in the office right now. Yeah, I had the August calendar winner hit me up. It was like, hey, any update on like that thing you're sending me? I'm like, Corona time. I have to wait a little bit longer. Some of the stuff I can ship out because I don't have to ship it out from the office. We have like an off-site warehouse too. But the stuff at the office, like some stuff I can't ship out.
Starting point is 00:05:16 But working on it, we'll figure it out. Yeah, we'll get to it soon. Get to it soon. How did you feel about having like an outside guest last week that wasn't community and wasn't like from the office or an employee? I thought it was cool because well you know it was our one year anniversary
Starting point is 00:05:37 episode I thought it was cool too because you know Frank commented on one of our podcast posts like the week before and he's a celebrity man it was cool yeah he's he's kind of a boomer
Starting point is 00:05:53 right I didn't realize he's like you guys kind of about like jackass and like CKY and like all these things I'm like dang like I remember that stuff growing up, dude. Yeah, it's a... He's a bro.
Starting point is 00:06:07 Yeah, it's actually pretty interesting because, like, you'd be surprised how many people who are in tech are into things that you wouldn't think, like, a tech person would be into, right? And it's just really, there's, there's, um, I forget which, like, there's like a famous reviewer, a famous
Starting point is 00:06:24 interviewer who said that like, like, every single person has a story, right? And, like, your job as the interview is to kind of dig down and get, like, that story and it's always like like the non-surface level stuff right because like frank we literally just talked about his YouTube channel and talked about like keyboards for like an hour and 45 minutes and say we were talking about the Philadelphia Eagles and skateboarding and like old KY tapes it's pretty cool stuff well what do you think I'm into besides tech I don't I wouldn't even I don't even I don't even care about tech
Starting point is 00:07:01 You need to hear first guys We're at a tech company And I don't care about tech Yeah Someone in chat is asking him about their computer But his name is Chicharito Which is kind of awesome For those who don't know
Starting point is 00:07:17 Chicharito is the name of a soccer player So I'm assuming he's a foo I can't want to DMM And asking if he's from like LA or something Isn't Chicharito in the Galaxy now or something? I forget which MLS team he plays for. I think he might be MLS. I think he went to like Arsenal or something for like a year or so.
Starting point is 00:07:43 But I don't, I don't remember where he went. And I was going real far away. It's for the galaxy. Okay. You just look it up? Yeah. The Galaxy. What do you play with before?
Starting point is 00:07:54 I know played for like a really popular team. I think it might have been in Germany or something. I forget which like really good soccer. I don't know anything about soccer. I know enough to, like, have really basic conversations, but, like, if you're asking, like, who's currently playing on what team? I'm like, uh, but not, like, the players. And I was watching the World Cup.
Starting point is 00:08:12 Because to me, that's, like, the best time to watch, because it's like, I'm from America, you're from England. We just beat you. Let's fight. Let's fight. Yeah, pretty much. I just want to fight with people from other countries. It's the only reason why I watch the World Cup.
Starting point is 00:08:29 That's really. pretty much it. Yeah, so like you said earlier, it just means I've been chilling hanging out for a bit. Feel free to ask any questions you guys like. We will try to avoid commonly ask questions for obvious reasons, but, you know, again, we're just going to hang it out and just doing whatever. I just wanted to have a really chill podcast, so enjoy guys.
Starting point is 00:08:56 Enjoy, because it doesn't happen very often. I'm playing on my switch right now. It's upboard I am. I'm actually about to load up to play Shadow Legends on my computer. Let's see, here are people talking about. Wish I had a Blue Yeti. I'm using a Yeti Nano for those who are curious. Will NXT bring out a $4,000 PC?
Starting point is 00:09:23 No, $40,000. Oh, $40,000. I think it can, right? I mean, just buy really expensive parts. Like, throwing like a Titan or something. Throw in a, I mean, think. I'll see it thrown there. Like, you know, there's, like, RAM, which is, like, really ridiculously expensive
Starting point is 00:09:40 just because it has, like, a special, like, titanium casing or something, right? I wonder what the most expensive computer of all time is. I mean, you can definitely do it. Ivan, when is Linus Media Group staff going to be on the podcast? That'd be cool. Great if you get Linus. What would you ask Linus? I really want to know what's up with the socks and sandals.
Starting point is 00:10:07 Like, I'm sure everyone does, but I really want to know what's up with that. Like, is it like a foot thing? Is it like just his aesthetic? Is it, you know? I would ask him what makes him think he should grow a beard. You don't like him with the beard? He looks weird with the beard. I think it looks 100% better with the beard.
Starting point is 00:10:27 weird. Really? He went from Linus to Daddy on like two videos. Yeah. I missed the old Linus. So from the soul Linus. He definitely is a little bit different.
Starting point is 00:10:45 I think, wasn't he taking a break or something? I forget what it was. He was like, he wasn't retiring, but it was like he had like this real long video where he's basically saying he was like burnt out and he was doing something different now. Yeah. think he he said he was going to retire but it's all never did yeah yeah it's like a rapper right it's like logic they never really retire a rapper never retires like they just they just keep
Starting point is 00:11:10 on going uh former moderator rat king wants to know when will they free bobby schmurda i thought they did yesterday didn't they no no it's okay so what it was is that there is a bobby smurda like website or something or it was like some website that like reported it wrong it's his um his his his trial is like in two weeks is what it is they have a date wrong but he he might hopefully get be getting out soon which i'm kind of here for because i want to see if he can if he can turn out like another banger is that song slap on whose name i cannot say on this podcast but it's a really good song and then i really want to know where his hat went i think everyone wants to know it's like it's like he does have one of the most epic memes ever
Starting point is 00:11:57 like in terms of gifts on Twitter for sure. The Bobby Schmurter dance. That's true. No, I mean, the thing was pretty hot for a minute. I was trying to make sure it was like the same thing stupid. Has Poppy ever been stick-bugged? I have no idea what they do.
Starting point is 00:12:21 I'm afraid you should look it up. I'm not what stick-bug is, but I am wearing, So I started wearing shorts this summer because it got really hot. And like I'm not a big shorts guy. So like I guess the mosquitoes have just been waiting for me to wear shorts, they started stinging me like crazy. So I've been wearing like really long socks. You really look like a little bit.
Starting point is 00:12:53 Yeah. With my shorts, dude, so I don't get stung by mosquitoes. Recke wants to know, so you're a small shorts guy, like 80s NBA? What I did was I had, so I have a lot of like old Levi's jeans and I just like cut them into shorts. Oh no, do you really wear in shorts? Yeah. Bro, don't tell me you're wearing the shorts. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:13:20 Jeez. I don't know if I ever wear denim shorts. That's like peak dad right there. I also want your new balances. I'm wearing my Nike's Which ones? The yellow ones? They're green.
Starting point is 00:13:37 Green. Green? Are they green or the yellow? I have some green and yellow ones. You should send a photo in the podcast channel. I'm shy. Show you my mosquito bites. Let's see. Let's go up here some questions we got.
Starting point is 00:13:54 I'm not even like pitting. I'm just reading down. How much is it cost monthly for the world? rewards including shipping. I know it's a lot. For us or for them? For us, I'm assuming. Yeah, I mean,
Starting point is 00:14:13 a couple hundred dollars. A couple hundred dollars? Not more, no. At least two dollars. At least. I know, like, it also varies, too, because it's not like we're shipping rewards to the same places every month, right?
Starting point is 00:14:28 It, like, varies depending on who joins the server and where they live. So like the cost, I'm sure, like, jump around here and there. Yeah. Have you ever played skate three? I've never played skate three. Have you played skate three? I don't think so.
Starting point is 00:14:43 But it's really good. I think, I think Frank was talking about it last on the podcast. There's, like, another game was like skate something. It's almost like a skate simulator. And, like, I guess, like, every stick on, or either stick on the game pad is, like, another leg. it's like a different leg so you have to like control your legs independently which i don't know how i'm trying to imagine how you do a kickflip with the with the analog sticks i mean i can't really do one in real life either but i just trying to imagine how that would look
Starting point is 00:15:13 i guess an ollie would be like up and down or something i don't know you'd be like uh like a fireball fireball yeah oh like a street fighter no i think so imagine there was a skitting meme we're like we're like every input For all the tricks, was like a fighting game thing? It should be. Why not? It makes just as much sense. Let's see.
Starting point is 00:15:39 What's the strangest location you've shipped to? Oh. Definitely, I would say, like, India is always weird. But there's been a few people in India that, like, they're staying at, like, at like hotels or something and like the addresses just make no sense. So he's for our shipping system. So it's like always like a complicated process, like figure out exactly how to send those things there. It's particularly in India.
Starting point is 00:16:16 India has a lot of weird addresses for some reason. There is a guy in, I think it was Israel, who sent as his reward stuff in like Hebrew. I think that's the, that's like the text of what. over it to use. And it was like, I don't know how to read this. So I should translate it and it broke my browser. I was trying to convert the text into like, into like alpha numeric letters or whatever.
Starting point is 00:16:41 And it didn't work very well for me. Abby wants to know, bike, scooters, or skateboards? I'm into all three, actually. I've been riding my scooter a lot more. The electric one? Yeah. I went cruising yesterday. actually. Is it safer now during during
Starting point is 00:17:03 current time or the like less trucks going around? Well my neighborhood's really quiet. There's like no no big trucks. I just ride around my neighborhood. Do you ever like sit your daughter on like the front part of the scooter and she holds onto the bar and he's like right around with her? No. No? I remember she to do that with my with my cousin. He's to have like a really like a I think it was like a bigger scooter. So he would sit me in the front of it and hold on. And then we would just like cruise around.
Starting point is 00:17:29 the street. You should totally try. It's pretty fun. I don't think my wife will let me. Just don't tell her. Just do when she's like out of grabbing groceries or something. Then you'll be good, right? I feel like that's kind of like what a dad's job is, no?
Starting point is 00:17:48 What makes you think my wife is the one that gets the groceries, Dennis? Snap. She sends out Poppy to do all the grocery shopping? Yeah, I'm the grocery shopper. And the mailman. And the mailman. I have a Minecraft account called NZXT Clubcast and Water Pucci. That is illegal.
Starting point is 00:18:12 Are they for sale? I was going to say. Are we going to contact you shortly? How many retweets are those accounts? How much are the shirts? Who don't sell their shirts? You get to earn them, my friend. You get to chat it up.
Starting point is 00:18:32 head up the ranks the rewards channel in the information section and it will tell you all about the rewards. Do we haven't edited that part the rewards channel.
Starting point is 00:18:47 You have it? Rewards submission forms are processed the first week of every month. I thought we did. I thought we did too. Yeah. Make a trailer card, please. I don't have trailer open
Starting point is 00:19:00 right now. I keep my setup very minimal. during the podcast because I'm liable to close something I shouldn't be closed that I shouldn't be closing like I remember every now and then I'll be recording and then I'll be sitting there listening and I go oh oh shoot where's the Zencaster tab because like like I think I might like sneeze or something so like I'll I'll hit the mute mic button on there and then next thing you know I like thought I forgot and thought like I lost like 20 minutes of recording or like I'm talking but there's like nothing there. Luckily, I haven't gone to that point yet.
Starting point is 00:19:36 But like I always have this like internalized fear. Like I already screwed something up even if I haven't. And normally 99% of the time I haven't, the one percent of the time that I did screw something up, it's never really that bad. It's just like, you know, something that could be fixed in like two seconds. But it's like a fear in mind that like one day I'll just record a podcast. And like an hour in, there's none of my audio and it's just you talking to yourself.
Starting point is 00:19:59 I'm pretty sure that it's, going to happen one time. It probably will. What do your setup, what do your setup looks like, Poppy slash Ashoki? What does your home setup look like? I've actually, actually no idea
Starting point is 00:20:15 what your home setup looks like. You can tell me you weren't allowed to to record from certain angles, right? My wife does not like this setup at all. No, because it's like, it's in our bedroom. So I live in a very small house.
Starting point is 00:20:30 and like you know there's like no space really for like I don't have an office or anything like that so I used to have an office before I had a daughter but now that I have a daughter that's her bedroom so now it's like I just have like this little nook in my bedroom and it's just big enough for like a desk in my computer so it's like super cramped and I'm kind of over it to be honest yeah i'm like in this room like all freaking day long it's driving me crazy like i sleep in here i work in here yeah just kind of over dream in there there there we go wrecking says just kick the kid out to the living room having to not like that answer yeah my wife is with my daughter or during the day yeah yeah so Do you take breaks in the middle of the day?
Starting point is 00:21:31 Just like to hang out with your family? I try not to because my wife has her routine with my daughter. Like she's like, you know, playtime, nap time. Okay, I get it. Arts and crafts time, all that stuff. So, yeah. I kind of have to stay in this room. What's the coolest thing your daughter's ever made so far, I guess?
Starting point is 00:21:58 Do you keep it all? Yeah, my wife saves everything. My wife just started a little journal for her, really learn how to write and trace numbers and letters, things like that. So that's pretty cute. Yeah, I don't know if I would be the kind of parent to keep all my kids' stuff. I might like maybe go through it every week and be like, okay, this one's good.
Starting point is 00:22:27 This one we can toss. This is good. This is good. This one we can toss. But I'm not sure if I can keep like everything. Where do you guys keep it all? Is it in a box or like just like slap it on the fridge? It's like super stacked up.
Starting point is 00:22:40 My house is a mess, Dennis, if you really want to know. No. Yeah, my wife just has boxes of stuff that she saves. My mom saved a lot of my old toys and now they're my daughters. Really? Yeah. What's your favorite toy from childhood? Probably my Hulk Hogan action figure.
Starting point is 00:23:04 Please tell me you have a photo that thing, dude. Please do. Please go grab one. Grab a photo right now. All right. All right. All right. We're back.
Starting point is 00:23:18 Let's see what are the questions we got here. When are the error headsets going to be out? Hopefully soon. We're still working on making them perfect. If you listen to the currently deleted podcast slash audio recording went wrong with Irma, we have a commitment to quality at NZXT. It's actually one of our core values. So we don't put anything out unless we feel that it meets certain standards in terms of quality and things of that nature.
Starting point is 00:23:47 So, you know, we don't, if we don't like it, like, if we wouldn't use it ourselves, then we wouldn't bring it out. Like, I'm actually using the full air audio N60 ecosystem right now. I have the mixture of the stand and the headset. And I like it a lot. But there's definite issues with it where, like, if I was just like a regular customer every day, I wouldn't, I wouldn't, you know, I would not buy it. But, you know, me being a part of the company, being a fan of the company, I think it's cool. Like the concept there is great. I love it.
Starting point is 00:24:20 just waiting for everything to be perfect for everyone else, then we can throw it out. So I can't find Hulk Hococan. You can't find Hococke? Oh, no, dude. My daughter, my daughter plays with it all the time. Have you ever showed her any videos of, like, the Okhokulian? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:24:41 Hogan, yeah? Yeah. After I gave her the doll, I was, like, explaining to her, like, who Hoke Hogan was. I showed her from, like, WrestleMania videos. No, Diamond. The mic amusing is not the air. It's the Yeti Nano, which is literally the same thing as the Yeti,
Starting point is 00:24:57 just smaller. Were you a Hulk Hogan or a Maltrow Man Randy Savage fan? Hulk Hogan, man. Really? Yeah. Like, Hulk Hogan was like my hero. Rack King says, I feel like your daughter were really like Hollywood Hogan.
Starting point is 00:25:13 I stopped watching wrestling when, like, before he became a Hollywood. Because it wasn't Hollywood Hogan when he went to, WCW. I believe so, yes. I'm not one of those people that like watch wrestling their whole life. Like, you know, I watched it when I was like a kid and then like, I think like in high school
Starting point is 00:25:37 was probably like, all right, this is so stupid. I'm just going to stop watching this. There was like a moment in time. I think it was during the rock era. Yeah, that's when I quit. It turned into like, a soap opera. It was like, what the heck is this now? It's just, it turned into soap opera. Yeah, I was listening to his podcast a while back about it was, it was WWE versus WCW.
Starting point is 00:26:06 And man, like the drama in that industry is pretty crazy. Because like it's just like everything about it. It's like how they, how they were competing for like for like airtime and they have like their different shows. and it was like, all right, we have two wrestling shows and this one is this way and this one is like an edgier version of like wrestling and it wasn't the way like he got that real. Yeah. That was pretty cool.
Starting point is 00:26:31 Like when I was a kid, like it wasn't really about like these crazy storylines. It was about the characters, right? Like the characters, every character was different. Every character had a story and then it just started, it started turning to like this big traumatic thing.
Starting point is 00:26:48 I don't know. Just kind of got over it. And I really kind of like, yeah, so that was actually one of the thing that like, that, that the podcast highlighted is that like they really started seeing like a huge like, a huge like increasing viewers once they started putting in the storylines. Because that's basically what people wanted, right? They wanted to see like their favorite wrestler like, you know, go through this hardship and then comment on top, right? Well, I make, I would watch like the Bachelor if it was the ultimate warrior or something like that. Or you know what? It'd be cool, like a real world with all like the old school wrestlers,
Starting point is 00:27:28 like the Iron Sheik, um, big boss man, Ted DiBiasi. That'd be awesome. Yeah, I wasn't the biggest fan of wrestling. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:27:42 I just really couldn't get into it, but like, I know people who have been watching it for like ever, right? And they just know every character. They know every, like, storyline. They know who went where and when. He was like, oh, yeah, he was great when he went to WCW, but then when he went back to, like, WWE, he was like this or this or that.
Starting point is 00:27:59 It was pretty crazy. Like this is. Yeah, see what we got here. Why is the mixer so expensive? I'm sure there's a reason, right? The mixer for the air audio stuff. I mean, it's got a bunch of stuff in it, you know? It's got cool lights and it's got like a,
Starting point is 00:28:20 It's got like a slider for your game and your audio, and you can plug in, use it as a pass-through for your speakers. Yeah, it's, you know, it's according to Patrick, if you want to go back, like, however many episodes, I can't remember which episode was Patrick on, dude? Oh, I don't know. Yeah, that was really far back. It wasn't been like early, early 20s. Back in the olden times. No, it was in, I think it was in like Like late 2019
Starting point is 00:28:53 Yeah, it's episode 16 nine months ago We had Patrick on the podcast He kind of explains He kind of explains what the What the Like the internals of the mixer and stuff like that Here let me just link it to you here in the chat it's worth to listen
Starting point is 00:29:15 like all this stuff still applies episode episode 16 is a long time ago it is because after that we had Mark by the way who I think it's on in chat
Starting point is 00:29:27 so hi I think I'm going to deleted his message there he is error 225 is up Mark and then that Mark?
Starting point is 00:29:36 Yeah it should be him now I think it's him maybe I'm wrong yeah it is Mark there we go yep and the cover is made by money yeah that's a really cool podcast art so it's actually probably one of my favorite ones it's really really cool uh well i know i mean the the the audio stuff like is cool it's just not consumer ready if that makes sense right like it works for me but it's
Starting point is 00:30:00 not like you know you want to get a bunch of customer service tickets about stuff we try to avoid those as much as we possibly can especially these days big props to the customer service team working hard right now. Let's see here. What else we got? Rip me. Rip me. I heard that the H510 has bad airflow.
Starting point is 00:30:23 Why? Yes, it does. Don't buy it. Go buy something else. Let's see here. How's the baseball season, Tritney Ivan? I watched the first, like, five Dodger games,
Starting point is 00:30:42 and then my wife was like, you know, enough's enough that's too much baseball so I haven't watched a game it's really yeah man then the games are long the games are super long it's like some of the games are like five hours long um so are we longer for like a reason or is it just like the the same amount of time that they usually are well some of them just you know extra innings um yeah i think the first of which game was watching it was like an angel's game and it was like what was it like 11 innings or something like that like, man, these guys are just not stopping. It just do not stop.
Starting point is 00:31:20 So I do listen to the games on the radio sometimes. But, uh, yeah. I'm not watching any games again. They're just too long. I'll wait for the World Series. Oh, yeah?
Starting point is 00:31:37 Yeah, I, um, I'll, I'll, I'll, I'll put it on in the background. Well, I do like literally anything else. Yeah, it's just like, King said it's really good background noise like nothing happens and then someone hits a home run or they make a they make a base finally and they're like okay cool remember that symptoms episode where homers at a baseball game and then he goes i never realize how boring this game truly is it really
Starting point is 00:32:05 kind of bids to be honest i have this thing i wonder what it's used for that looks like a front i owe for one of our products i don't know what case that would be though maybe like a 510 or 500 or something i don't know what that is h 500 there we go see i knew what's up i know my cases i love my elite uh man i was in i was in chat the other day uh and people were talking about like i don't know they're you know this is the same most similar they're just complaining about airflow and i was like don't buy the case then someone dm me or even until we need to buy a case i'm like yeah if you don't want it and you're debating on it then i don't care it's going to
Starting point is 00:32:48 I'm not going to spend time telling you it's a good case. If you want to get it, if you don't, then don't. I'm not going to spend my time. It works perfectly fine. Does it have the world's best airflow? No, but you don't need that. The case is not designed to have, like, the world's best airflow. If you want a case with better airflow, there's better cases or better airflow,
Starting point is 00:33:12 optimized cases, I guess. But the case is fine if, uh, You just want to show that, you know, let you play video games. There we go. If you don't play video games, the H510 is not for you. That's actually good to eat. It's only for gamers. If you're doing anything else, don't buy this case.
Starting point is 00:33:36 There we go. Is there a difference between the 510 in the elite? No, they're pretty much, I mean, I guess it might be a difference because of the glass in the front, right? With the airflow? No, the airflow is still the same. it gets sucked in through the bottom of the front panel the same way but if the glass might add a little bit different dynamic to it now for air yeah no it's literally the same i don't know i mean it does come with two air rgb fans so maybe those are i think those are definitely better than than the
Starting point is 00:34:11 than the stock fans, right? If you like RGB, me personally, I don't care about RGB, but if you like RGB, yeah. Oh, sweet Jesus. I just went into the Facebook group, which by the way,
Starting point is 00:34:28 if no one knows here, I made Mini Cuddle a moderator for the NCC set-ups channel because he's literally always, it's a channel, the NCC set-ups Facebook group, he's literally always like DMing me stuff. Hey, this person said a bad word.
Starting point is 00:34:41 Hey, this person. is posting their stream or something. And I'm like, here's Adam and dude. Or I'm having a nice game moderator. I'm like, here you go. It makes it easier, right? I think it's like the only other like forum that we have where we can have moderators, right?
Starting point is 00:34:56 I don't need the platform that we use that has that. Like, we don't have a forum. So we can't add the mods in there. We're not going to give an asses to Twitter or Instagram. Heck no. I can't imagine the stuff that like that could be tweeting out, right? you'd be trying to talk about Fortnite or something on the NXC Twitter but in other case is really this setup's really cool
Starting point is 00:35:18 whose setup is that someone named Corey Chapman I don't know what's up with his profile but apparently I guess he's a Facebook gaming streamer oh man I don't know how people do that Does anyone hear stream on Facebook gaming? I want to believe it's like the coolest thing ever and just like no one knows.
Starting point is 00:35:42 But 99% sure, it's like really bad. We're not having to deal with Facebook, right, Evan? I'm not going to get in trouble for talking to Smack on Facebook gaming. I don't like Facebook. Neither do I. If I could it, I would avoid it 100% entirely. TBH. We can.
Starting point is 00:36:05 can you really make can you make really small holes in the front panel that 8, 7, 10 so it can provide air I mean, you can if you want to grab a drummo or a drill people have done it I think Joel isn't it as like or you just trust the design
Starting point is 00:36:20 of the case and believe that there's enough airflow for you but Ivan I need that that minus one degree I was going to say centimeter what's it called Celsius Celsius oh man I'm not
Starting point is 00:36:38 not on it today. English is really hard. Let me shoot the elites with fitting my motherboard. It's a really tight fit. I promise going to do the front panel ports. No, yeah. I mean, the 510s are really compact cases. So, you know, like, you're just going to be a tight fit for everything in that case.
Starting point is 00:36:58 It's the smallest possible ATX case you can possibly get. I think even like removing the, what you call it, the cable management bar doesn't really do much to help, right? Because it's still a really tight case. How sick are you? The free PC joke. Free PC jokes are great. I don't know about Ivan.
Starting point is 00:37:20 I'll never get sick of a free PC joke. It's like free, easy engagement. We avoid it because it's so easy, right? Because it's like, there's got to be a better joke out there. It's going to be a better tweet than like a free PC tweet. sometimes he's got to throw it out right speaking of much I think
Starting point is 00:37:42 yeah I'll talk about that later do you guys think phone gaming whatever will take over most of the gaming market at some point there are coming there are coming more and more games to phones and gaming phones with high refresh rates
Starting point is 00:37:55 are getting more popular question mark I personally don't think phone gaming will overtake the gaming market I don't think phone gaming is ever going to be like the primary way people play video games. It's just like you're going to play video games on your, there might be more people playing games on your phone,
Starting point is 00:38:18 but your main form of gaming will still be a console or a PC. I think. I don't know. I was going to say, I think that, I think that like mobile game is already kind of taken over in terms of like how many people in the world are playing video games on their phone, right? I think that's like all of India. It's probably like PubG Mobile or something, right? So it's like it usually like pretty much the entire world.
Starting point is 00:38:45 But in terms of like what like big gaming is, I don't really know if like that's going to be like I'm not going to swap over right. Like if I've because here's the thing. I think people who play on mobile but probably rather play on like a console or PC, right? But mobile's there and it's cheaper than a computer in most cases. Right. For me, the thing about the price is just. I can barely even type of my phone. Very true.
Starting point is 00:39:13 I can barely type of my phone and like, you know, I don't want to play video games on it. I play Rayshed headphones on my phone. And even that's kind of hard because the buttons are so tiny. And I'm always like missing stuff on it. I'm starting to get so old that the switch is starting to feel really small to me now. Oh, really?
Starting point is 00:39:41 I can, like, barely see what's going on on the screen. It depends on the game. Like, I tried to play... I tried playing Diablo 3 on my Switch, which is kind of a bad purchase, because I wouldn't play, like, two hours of it. And, like, if you were playing it
Starting point is 00:39:55 on anything other than, like, a TV, it's kind of impossible to read anything. The buttons and everything are just so tiny. Or you get to have your screen, like, way close up to your face. That's how I feel about Super Mega Baseball. Yeah? On Switch, yeah.
Starting point is 00:40:08 It's, like, unplayable. can't read the score. Seriously? Yeah, it's like so tiny. Yeah, it's like if you're, like, just because you can't put it on a tiny screen, doesn't mean you should. And if you're going to then like make the UI look better, right? Yeah. Just a three-fan GPU fit in the H510.
Starting point is 00:40:30 Yes. My 270 super fits in my 510. Got them. When is the N-16 going to release a phone? Some say it's already out there. Let's see here. What else you got here question-wise? I want to know about tight fits?
Starting point is 00:40:46 There's barely any kind of space in my H-2-10. Yep. That's what I told you do before you got it. You sure you don't want like a 5-10 or a 7-10? That 2-10 is really tiny. It's super tight. It looks nice, though. I really like H-2-10 builds.
Starting point is 00:41:00 They look really clean. Because you can't fit that much crap to begin with, so you have to, like, be really smart about how you rat everything. So I think just by proxy of being a really, tiny case, people kind of make it a little bit cleaner than it normally would be. That's why I like Manta. Are H1 builds generally cheaper? I'm not sure.
Starting point is 00:41:23 I don't know. No, not really because in general, many ITX motherboards are more expensive than ATX motherboards. And also VH1, it's our most. expensive case because it includes a water cooler and a power supply. So right up the bat, you're like just with the riser cable and a riser cable. So just with the H1 and your motherboard, you're already going to that's already over $500. Right. So and then you're going to you know get your your graphics card. You can get pretty crazy with that as well. So it adds up.
Starting point is 00:42:11 I think just because it has a cooler built in and also the riser card that already adds, like I would say what is considered to be like a necessary cost, right? Like you don't need like an all of one cooler. You can just grab like a regular air cooler that's like 30, 40 bucks. And it'll work for most people. So, you know, if long as you're not like overclocking or something. It's like I think like already because like I was looking at what what a riser cable cost. I think it's like 40, 50 bucks, too.
Starting point is 00:42:35 They're not cheap. It's actually kind of expensive for that. Yeah, yeah, it's expensive. Yeah. So like if you were to build in like a budget like regular ATX case and then you know not use a riser card you're ready. There's already cost that you don't have right. Like riser cables are literally just for aesthetic just so you can like mount your your card not into the motherboard itself. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:43:02 There you go. You're welcome. NCCPU NSICW Wireless hoodie. Fun fact, our hoodies are actually wireless. wireless. You don't have to plug him into the wall to charge him. They just charge the body heat. So there you go.
Starting point is 00:43:19 You heard of your first folks. It's an exclusive. Johnny, feel free to email me afterwards about leaking company info. Also, our shirts are wireless as well. You just got two for the price of one. What do you think, Ivan?
Starting point is 00:43:37 Yay. I'm excited. Let's see what else you got here. I'm curious if any other questions. Have you heard about Ray's Shadow Legends? I have not heard about Red Shadow Legends. Tell me what that's about. Sounds pretty cool.
Starting point is 00:43:57 NXT, NXT podcast. That's a good one. Wireless stickers. Be good to wireless stickers. NXC dentures. I think once Ivan is in need, he'll probably make some NXE dentures. It's a purple grill.
Starting point is 00:44:12 Yeah, exactly. It would be a purple grill. Live-sized Poochie. It's funny, we actually considered putting our former intern Mike into a Pucci costume, but we couldn't figure out how to get the hole in the middle to work without like having their. Yeah. That's funny. But also like, so like Mike, okay, so so people basically already know this because I think he revealed it.
Starting point is 00:44:40 He was, he's the, he's the, he's a Otto the Orange, right, from Syracuse University. And we asked them, like, if we could actually get like a costume built out. And apparently those things are really, really expensive. And it's like months and months in advance. You have to get them like built out, right? Yeah. And I don't know like what the requirement is for like size. But it would have to be a really, really big costume for it to fit a person.
Starting point is 00:45:09 Because it's also square, right? It's not like a, it's not like a long costume. So it had to be really tall and also super wide. Bro, my mom can make that costume in like two days. You think so? Probably. Did your mom ever make you costumes for like Halloween and stuff? All the time.
Starting point is 00:45:28 Seriously? Yeah. What was the coolest costume she made for you? My favorite was my favorite. I used to love dressing up as a vampire, Dracula. I don't know what. It's funny to be. I won a Halloween contest.
Starting point is 00:45:48 once dressed up as Dracula. You really? Yeah. Who were you competing against? Other kids? Yeah, but like, no duh, but like what other costumes were they? No, normal costumes.
Starting point is 00:46:05 Which is... Power Rangers. There was no Power Rangers when I was a kid. Power Rangers came out when I was like in... You're trying to think of actually when you were a kid. You're not that much older than me, dude. You're like what's set?
Starting point is 00:46:18 seven years on me. So, I mean, let's see, if Power Rangers came out, I think Parangers were out when I was like, no, no, no,
Starting point is 00:46:25 Power Rangers definitely had to have been out when you were junior high, I think, at the latest. Let me see. What's that? Mighty Morfin Power Rangers.
Starting point is 00:46:36 It aired in 1993. So, yeah, I was 13. Yeah, so that's junior high. Right? Mm-hmm.
Starting point is 00:46:45 That's why I never got into Pokemon, because Pokemon came out when I was like literally like in college I think it's like 96 or something 96 or like 99 or like like like Pokemon means nothing to me yeah it's really interesting how something it's like so so like did you ever feel like you're like left out of that like that whole life all he's like the link costume dude when gaming costumes didn't exist that's so crazy dude like it's funny because he looks he looks exactly the same as he's now older
Starting point is 00:47:20 um yeah um do you ever feel like like if you're like missing out on things like like you're you were just like a little bit too old for it no not at all not not for one second you never once see like the millions of people who are like i'm not like i'm not interested in in like Pokemon at all like I don't feel like I'm missing out on anything because of that that
Starting point is 00:47:47 that's just crazy to me because like I think like almost like I'm pretty sure I don't remember is is Johnny older than you? No I'm not I'm like one or two years older than him
Starting point is 00:48:05 oh wow for some reason I thought John was like way older he just looks way older you see him during the time of holiday the man looked like he aged like like 50 years look like the president oh yeah man hiring the company
Starting point is 00:48:22 I know right I think it's all fun in games N60 show about how N6T was founded that don't know that would be really interesting show but maybe it is I don't know I feel like I think the best scene of that show would be where Johnny met
Starting point is 00:48:38 shin hilarious I don't know if we're allowed to tell it. Did she tell that story? When it was on a podcast? I don't think so either either, yeah. NZXT, a game by Hideo, Kajima. Did that be a crazy, a crazy show?
Starting point is 00:48:54 There's like a zoom in on the case and a baby pops out or something. Something really weird. NXT, Gleazy. Okay, someone explained Glyzzy. Rat King. I know you know. Someone explained Glyzzy. Why are we calling Hot Dogs Glizzies now?
Starting point is 00:49:10 I know it came from some place, But what's wrong with hot dog? So I'm just calling you a hot dog. Glyssie is a cooler name. I don't know. Glyssie sounds like a rapper. Shagglyze. What you know?
Starting point is 00:49:21 That is a rapper's name. Never mind. That's why I do. It's shy Gleazy. But, um, well, it's like, Gleazy is the name for, I believe, a Glock and also for a hot dog. But I don't know why. I don't know why there is from Twitter thread where a dude was walking down the hot
Starting point is 00:49:38 dogs and popping up. That's all I got to know. dude. We'll figure it down hot dogs and popping up. The rapper is a glizzy globber. I think you mean gobbler. Yeah. I don't know, man. It's really funny because, like, there's, it's really funny how like Twitter works, right? On one spectrum, it's like, you know,
Starting point is 00:50:02 we're accepting everyone. We don't talk about, like, you know, like stereotypes and then on the other end of the spectrum, these guys eating a hot dog, let's make fun of them. Really? I don't really know. I really know how that how that makes sense. Oh, Lord, chat's going insane now. Whoping down hot dogs and popping off.
Starting point is 00:50:27 Is NSC ever going to bring out a case like the I-by-star snowblind? Fun fact. The snowblind is technically like one of our cases, isn't it, Ivan? the snow blind is not really a case it's a it's a panel right yeah yeah it's um i think they did it on a the first one was a i believe a noct this and then the next one was uh i think they did an s340 elite yeah i think the current still blinds an sc40 elite uh we call it like design um i mean i don't know It'd be cool if it looked like. I don't know if I want a panel on the side of my computer, though.
Starting point is 00:51:15 I feel like I already have too much stuff they can break. And I already get enough tweets with someone like slip in their hands on like accident, and then they break like a panel. And I don't know how much you charge for those, but I can't imagine like a side panel with a screen on it being very cheap. If people will break that on purpose to get another one. N60 owns cyberpower. No, they do not.
Starting point is 00:51:37 NZXT artificial lungs for optimal airflow There we go Ready for that Super ready for that Does NZXT mean something It does, it means NZXT Just put a space between the letters And that's the meaning
Starting point is 00:51:53 Snowblind, knocked his 450 side panel Like a mini-caddle Just always knows these like really obscure questions Or the really obscure answers to these questions it's funny because he's like probably way more boomery than like mirror you but he hides it very very well Twitter simultaneously is stream of information and news while also being a test pool of memes and BS I agree but that's that's what makes Twitter so great because the thing about Twitter too is it like literally anybody with the right tweet can like pop off right and just like have a banger of a tweet and it's treading for the next three days it's only it's only a
Starting point is 00:52:34 assess pool if you're on there all day scrolling through everything. But if you're just like on there, you know, five minutes a day, it's fine. But I know there's people that spend literally like all day on Twitter or like all day on Discord. It's definitely not a it's not a healthy thing, I don't think. No, definitely. And it breaks, especially right now, you know, with like being quarantined. and everything.
Starting point is 00:53:04 Like, I think people just need kind of, you just need a time and just chill out for a little bit. What's your, what's your, what's your social media detox, like, tip, Ivan? If you ever want to, like, just get away from social media and, like, not be angry for a minute, what do you do? I mean, for me, like, I have all my notifications off on my phone. So, like, I don't, like, someone DMs me. I don't have, I don't have any idea. Like, they DM me or anything.
Starting point is 00:53:35 I don't check my DMs. That's very obvious. I just, whenever I feel like, like I want to, you know, check my DMs or look for memes, that's when I usually open up an app. But I don't leave it open up all day because it just drives me crazy. It's nonstop, man. Like, if I really wanted to, I can spend all day just replying to people that DMs. me. That could be my job. But I don't want to, I don't want that to be my job.
Starting point is 00:54:08 I have to, like, actually, like, do some work around here. I, I am always on social media. Yeah. It's kind of my job, though, just to be looking at what's up. But I try to do it very smart. Like, I don't go down, like, the political stuff. I don't look at the K-pop stuff. I don't, I purposely don't look at things that will make me upset.
Starting point is 00:54:33 There's a lot of stuff on social media that will legitimately, like, to make you, like, really depressed, right? It's like how people talk to each other or the things that's happening in the world. Like, there's really a lot of information that I have to pop up to my brain just because I have to do social media for work. They're like, I just look at fun stuff now. It's like, what can I put out there that's fun? What can I look at that's fun? The last thing I want is to be depressed because of work, right? I just go on there to give you domers. Domers. With an unlimited budget and full creative freedom, what would either of you add to NXT's product lineup or projects to improve company direction in 2021.
Starting point is 00:55:12 If I could pick any product, let's see, unlimited budget and full creative freedom. If it were up to me, I would want to make an NZT controller. Ooh, really? Mm-hmm. I think whatever I make will end up looking like this thing right here, the Homer Simpson car. Yes. just be like, give me everything and make it the worst thing in the world.
Starting point is 00:55:40 Actually, speaking of controllers, I've been using my Switch Pro controller for my computer. I have weaned myself off of the Steam controller. As much as I like it. The Switch ProC is probably my favorite controller. It's nice.
Starting point is 00:55:57 It's really, really good. It's just way too expensive. It's like 70 bucks, right? I don't know. I don't know. Switch Pro controller. Let me see. Switchboard controller is currently selling on Amazon for,
Starting point is 00:56:10 oh, it's actually they lowered the price of 60 bucks now. Yeah, it should be like 70. And I was like, that's way too much for a controller, dude, way too expensive. But no, I think the trailer would be really, really cool. I don't know, like, what we would do that's different, but at least like something that's like made for PC, I guess, right? But I don't know what features it would have. They will, like, make it unique.
Starting point is 00:56:33 The buttons would be square. poochies. They're like, they're like, what you call it, they're like hollow on the inside. The material for the controller would be plush, nice and saw.
Starting point is 00:56:49 Imagine like eating and then like right after you eat, you put your hand on that controller. Get really grody. Be super gross. NXXTBR headset. That should be kind of cool. I would say it's anything that I would like to see is make. It's kind of hard
Starting point is 00:57:04 because I already kind of got everything. But honestly, I don't know. Like, if we get, like, license out iOS, I think I like to see what, like, a Apple N60 phone would look like, right? But phones are also very boring right now. There's, like, nothing a phone does. That's, like, super crazy.
Starting point is 00:57:24 I think we talked about this last time, right? Like, the only thing to do with phones is, like, slapping on, like, five extra, like, cameras. It's like, here you go, guys. Here's a brand new phone. But, by the way, we also made the hardware, like, much, much faster. which I don't really know what that does because I'm just
Starting point is 00:57:38 I literally just going through Twitter all day so like what do I need like a 20 core processor in my phone to scroll through Instagram I can play video games oh there we go so we can finally get off these computers and start playing video games huh
Starting point is 00:57:51 there we go that's the we remove the screen it goes into your brain I don't know change change the company direction I guess there's something different right I would say
Starting point is 00:58:06 I mean, the Virginia company direction that means we're not doing what we normally do which is like gaming or gain more products, right? So I guess a car. We just become like an automobile company. And Johnny becomes Elon Musk 2.0. Right? Without him like tweeting insane stuff
Starting point is 00:58:28 and then making the stock price drop in like two seconds. I don't know. How is someone allowed to do that, Ivan? I don't understand that. Like, I get it yields the company, but it's also publicly traded, right? So it's like, can we just take that phone away from him? I'd be pretty angry if, like, the CEO of the company that I, like, invested in, tweeted something really, really suss at, like, 1 a.m. on, like, a Wednesday.
Starting point is 00:58:54 And then, like, my stock is, like, half its value. Then don't invest in his company. You don't like this company. Don't invest in it. Right. But I mean like, I feel like the shareholders should have enough of a power to be like, you know, let's just get this guy out of here. But he's like you can, right?
Starting point is 00:59:11 Unless you're a majority shareholder, which you're not, then you have no say. When you just like, you have no say whatsoever. What if all of us collectively bought one stock? Can we take over Tesla and make it make the Homer Simpson car? You think so? No. It's like eventually little by little now? No.
Starting point is 00:59:41 Just make Elon make like consoles. This is the direction we want the company to go. It'd be crazy expensive to get a majority. Well, yeah, no, for sure, right? For sure. It'd be impossible. Yeah, it would never happen. Have you driven to, we call it, to Vegas in the past, a couple years, Ivan?
Starting point is 01:00:05 It's last time with Vegas. Probably like 10 years. No, no, no, not 10 years ago. Maybe, I don't know, like three years ago. Okay. The reason why I ask is because we're talking about Elon and like solar stuff, right? And I was driving to Vegas for Evo like a while back. And I saw this thing as I was driving.
Starting point is 01:00:35 and it's literally like this this is a giant solar farm right in the middle of the desert in Nevada or I think California desert it's like it's like on the edge or something right and this is giant pillar that's super super bright
Starting point is 01:00:50 and I had no idea what this thing was and I was driving right so I couldn't pull my phone out and like look it up but it was all I could think about and drive over there here's a little look into my mind right it's now it's now the dentist show so just it's drop it's dropping
Starting point is 01:01:05 about five in, right? So we get to the hotel, we check and do everything, right? The first thing I do, the homies, like, they want to go grab, you know, some of the drink, they want to, you know, play some slots. And I'm like, guys, give me a second. I need to look this thing up. It turns out this is like a really giant solar farm. And that thing in the middle, that giant pillar, basically like harnesses like all this energy. And it, and it runs at like a really, really hot, like a temperature. I'm trying to figure out what it is. I'm sure someone can look it out for me. and like figure it out. But apparently it's so bright that it actually attracts birds.
Starting point is 01:01:44 And when the birds get close enough, they literally burn up and die. It's pretty nuts. So they have like all these measures in place so that like the birds don't get hurt because it seems is harnessing so much solar energy because the way they work is basically they're like it's like it's like super reflective. So it takes the sun, right? And whatever material is in there reflects that sun on. to the solar panels. So it's so almost like multiplies the power, right? That the, that the panels
Starting point is 01:02:12 are like receiving. But here we go. Two point two billion bird scorching solar project. It's from the, from the Wall Street Journal. Yeah, but like it's it's apparently something really crazy technology or something. But part of the part of like part of the budget goes to finding ways to prevent birds from getting onto it because it's super super hot so there you go Ivan i was curious if you ever heard of this thing it's pretty nuts oh it's like it's kind of like what i do like i'll just like i'll see something and i don't know what it is and then i'll just literally just look it up what is that you show you guys came from dinner uh here i'll look you guys the article for and check it out i don't know how you can get past it because you got to like subscribe
Starting point is 01:02:59 to them but i'm sure you can understand what it is um yeah but it's it's it's It's a crazy technology. This is like that giant thing in the middle, like it's, it's super bright. And you can see it like as you're driving for like miles and miles and miles. It just burns it that hot. I don't know what the temperature is, though. Let's see. Ivan Popplan.
Starting point is 01:03:22 I really want to look this up. Temperature. Here we go. This thing runs as 550 degrees Celsius. There we go. So that's like, that's like if you took. I don't know. What's my computer running at right now? It's 42 degrees.
Starting point is 01:03:41 So however many times. But yeah, that's like a crazy amount, dude. That's super, super hot. Just can't imagine like how, like, can imagine getting close to that thing? Woo. Dude, burn it up. Sorry if I'm boring you, dude. I just like, I'll get into like these.
Starting point is 01:04:01 I'm falling in sleep over here. I'm like, what are this talking about? It's a giant shiny pillar in the middle of the Nevada desert on the way to Las Vegas, and it burns birds. It's a solar power facility. That's what we're talking about. I don't know. I just like, because we were talking about Elon and stuff and he's made me think about that. It's pretty crazy stuff.
Starting point is 01:04:31 Who owns NZXT? Johnny Ho owns it. NSXT book documenting all the NZXT products. Do we have that? Is that the Bible? I think so, right? I think we do have that. Is that like?
Starting point is 01:04:46 Pretty sure it's, I'm pretty sure the creative team has that. Okay. Yeah. I, um, because I know there's like a, there's like a Bible that we got, right? But I don't know if that's like the, if that's what's in there. I haven't read the whole thing. Like, I've only been able to, because there's not like a few copies, right? It's like I haven't been able to like actually sit down and read the whole thing.
Starting point is 01:05:06 But I really want to. like do you think there's a way I can get like a copy for myself or is not a lot off the premises? You have to kill Jen. I can make that happen. So tell him. So hopefully he's not listening now. So he doesn't know of my plan to take his role and just so I can read the book. You know, it's a, I think it'd be kind of cool, right?
Starting point is 01:05:31 Like I think we've had enough interesting designs that we can make like a copy. table book now, centered from the first case to what we have now. We can make a coffee table book by anything. If I go to a coffee table book about Pucci. Do you have a coffee table book? Yeah, I love books. I have a lot of books. Books for the sole purpose of having it on a coffee table so you can just look at.
Starting point is 01:05:57 I actually have a coffee table solely for the purpose of displaying books. Really? Yeah, I have this clear top coffee table that, like, you put, books underneath it. It's pretty cool. Okay. Yeah, I have a couple of art books. Like, I went into the process of, like, cleaning up my room and, like, throwing away a bunch of old stuff. But one thing that didn't get rid of is my, it's my StarCraft 2, like, the Wings of Liberty, like the First StarCraft 2, like, limited edition box thing. The cardboard smells like farts. It's not good cardboard. I think it's like reclaimed or something. It smells bad. But inside
Starting point is 01:06:35 is his really cool art book slash copy table book that I've maybe peruse like once or twice because I just so I just wanted it but I don't want to throw it away because you can't get them anymore. To be honest who really just reads books while sipping on coffee. I do all the time. I'm pretty sure it's like what Ivan does all day. What was NZExtee's first case? That was The Guardian.
Starting point is 01:07:01 But yeah, like I mean if I if I had like my own space like I like like like a like my own apartment. I would definitely like in the mornings before I start my day, sit down and just like read something. I feel like it's like a good way to start your day, right? It's, I like to read at night. I can't do that. I think if I read it had to be in the morning or like in the middle of the day. I can't do nighttime reading. That's not a... Best way to fall asleep with the book. I drink milk tea while reading because I don't like to taste of caffeine and amnesian. I mean, anybody can drink tea.
Starting point is 01:07:47 I can drink tea. I actually had tea last night. I went out with the homie last night. She and I drove to Starbucks at like 11 at night. She got a coffee. I got a tea because I don't want any caffeine, but it's actually kind of nice to grab a coffee like super late at night. It's like just kind of reminded me of like pre-COVID times just grabbing some coffee and stuff. milk tea milk tea is dope
Starting point is 01:08:13 spill the tea you got any tea to spill Ivan you got any good gossip to throw out there for the peoples not really what you're swagged out what she up to these days I don't know how
Starting point is 01:08:32 I don't know how it happens but like my sister is slowly started to become like the like librarian for like all the family like gossip and stuff. So like I'll be in the kitchen and she'd be like, you know, do you hear? Did you hear like what my DIA said about ex person the day? I'm like, no, my tummy was good.
Starting point is 01:08:52 She gives me all the info, dude. It's great because like I get all the fun drama without having to like actually interact with the extended family. Works out pretty well. But about you. I don't know if you're about that. I don't care about drama. I can avoid it.
Starting point is 01:09:11 I don't want to know what people are doing or saying. But what is it talking about you, though? And I really don't care. We should all aspire. We should all aspire to be like, I have one day. Just not care. Do you hear the rumor about the butter? Now I'm going to spread it.
Starting point is 01:09:39 Write that one down. does manga count as reading? Because if not, then I've been lying. Yeah, it has words. It's reading. But does manga have enough words? Yeah. Like, if he took all the words...
Starting point is 01:09:56 If you read one word or one sentence, it's considered reading. I think it's cynically I read all day then, since I'm always reading stuff online. Do that count? Yes, but are you comprehending anything? I try. I want to believe that I'm comprehending stuff. What this is about? Anish, this is about, it's about you.
Starting point is 01:10:19 What do you want? What's your life like? Tell us what's good, dude. So that is doing right now. There's a difference between reading, like, Twitter and reading a book, though. Oh, yeah? Why's that? Well, you don't know the difference?
Starting point is 01:10:34 No, I don't. I guess, like, Twitter is just like a bunch of, you know, random people's random thoughts. There's, like, no cohesive thought. It's just, like, a bunch of random things. Whereas a book is, like, you know, flashed out idea that's, that's, like, thought out and construct it in a wave that either tells a story or teaches you how to do something, you know, whatever. So that's a difference.
Starting point is 01:11:07 I guess I can see that. I'm just going to think of, like, some of the, I would say, like, 99.90% of the stuff that I read on Twitter is probably the, like that and then like every now then you get like that one good thread you're just reading it like um do you see the thread that mariello put in slack of the day uh i saw of it last night it's a really cool idea i kind of want to try it i think i think it'd be really really dope um but him out here ivan can you identify this case you get two guesses i'm pretty sure i know which case it is but i want to know if you know that is the h440 a let's go
Starting point is 01:11:46 Got them. Easy peasy. I'm literally just like chilling right now. Who's in the podcast again? I'm not in currently not at home. They want you in this channel, dude. Can you please cue some lofi? Yeah, let's do that. It's just end the podcast early and listen to the lofi all day.
Starting point is 01:12:04 I'm totally done for that. He's just quit this podcast for everything. All right, guys, see you later. Yeah, I don't know. what do you see the podcast being in like five years Ivan assuming we may get the five years well it's hard to say because i don't know when or if we'll ever be back in the the office again you know like if you would ask me that question six months ago i would have said like before the whole quarantine thing happened i would have said five years or yeah five years you know
Starting point is 01:12:43 I would imagine we have like, instead of having like a little podcast closet, like we have now, I would hope we have like a podcast studio that's like with video and, you know, just more people listening for sure, hopefully. Yeah. Better analytics. Alan says full booth producers on the boards. Yeah, no. I think like that would be nice to have like a full team. for it. But now, you know, like ever since we've been working remotely, like, I feel like the
Starting point is 01:13:21 podcast, it did take a step back because the quality is definitely not what we ever imagined it to be. Like we, we, we would never would have started a podcast with this quality that we're doing it right now. Right. And so I don't know. Like if we never go back to the office, office again, then will the podcast still be the same ugly quality in five years? Probably. I think what we need to happen is you would all individually need to have our own little spot set up in our individual places where we can record with like a decent quality, right? Because that's part of the problem is that like you're using like a headset mic or something.
Starting point is 01:14:07 I'm using like a bleeddy nano, right? Like if you get all like have the same equipment, like we all grab like a little mixer, right? We all grab this or this or that. We all learned how to use it. Then we can have like a really, like a really good quality sounding podcast, right? I mean, that's what our podcast studio was. Yeah, right?
Starting point is 01:14:26 It was, yeah, like we bought a whole, a whole mixer, 18, 2020s, right? A computer dedicated for recording and stuff, all kinds of stuff. A lot of equipment. Now it's really like. Now it's my shrine. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:14:42 And like I literally have nowhere to put any of that stuff in my house And no lie I've actually been kind of considering moving Like the past like a couple weeks. Yeah. Where too? Like I have no I don't know. The room is thinking like she wants to go to Brea.
Starting point is 01:14:59 I'm like Braya. She doesn't know the area. So I'm like, Brea. But technically it'd be closer to the office. But then like it doesn't even matter for close to the office. Right. Because like we can't go in there half the time.
Starting point is 01:15:11 Yeah. And like, you know, and like now we're, you know, we're being like just really cautious about everything. Like, I don't want to get tested again, dude. Testing sucks. It's not fun. Yeah. So I don't know if we talked about it. Did we talk about it last week?
Starting point is 01:15:25 About getting tested? I forget. I don't think so. I don't think so either. Okay. So the office, right? We have, you know, we have staff. We have to be there, right?
Starting point is 01:15:36 Like the builders, right? They can't take computer parts home. So, you know, we started doing like more, more. We started doing testing on site, which is actually pretty cool that we're actually offering like on-site testing for free. But we have people who will come in and they'll administer these tests. And they started saying, hey, you know, we want to be careful. There's flare apps, blah, volume.
Starting point is 01:15:55 And Kobe's, you know, the whole pandemic thing is getting crazy in the, in the U.S. So, you know, let's have people come in and test more often. And if you want to be in the office, we got to make sure that you're tested and you're, and you're not positive. I'm like, all right, it makes sense, right? So I went to the office. I got tested. and they literally, they stick that swab in your nose,
Starting point is 01:16:14 but it didn't realize how far that swab goes. And it doesn't hurt, but it's uncomfortable. And it hits like a certain part where you start tearing up a little bit. It made your hair stand up. A little bit, dude. It was just really, really weird. Like, I wasn't aware that there was, that you can go in that deep into your nostrils. I've, everyone I know that I took that test tells me the same thing.
Starting point is 01:16:38 and like the other option was like you know you don't have to get those tests if you don't want to the other option is like not going to the office so I'm just like yeah I'm just not going to go to the office right now well I think now it's like you have to get tested if you're going to go in yeah like at all so you had a tested regardless dude I'm not going in like ever for real yeah no we need to figure out some other solutions for stuff then too like if you're is not ever, ever going to go in. And I know what the solution is, at least for me. Which is.
Starting point is 01:17:14 Like, the only reason I go into the office is because I have to go in there sometimes to ship some stuff out. Not everything, but, like, if we do, like, a custom sticker or, like, the Pucci cup, something like that. Yeah. And I'll have to go into the office because we ship from there. But the solution would be, I just don't ship from there. I'd have to figure out a way to ship from home.
Starting point is 01:17:38 Not ship from home, but ship from our off-site warehouse where I ship all the other rewards. Got it, got it. It's basically just more inventory management. I'm telling you, man, I'm a mailman. Legit mailman. We go to NSICT.com slash careers. We're hiring a mailman. Your job would literally be to ship stuff all day.
Starting point is 01:18:06 for the club we'll pay you in a free PC once a year it should be enough right yeah but then you don't have to like trade games yeah exactly
Starting point is 01:18:18 that's a trade off right do you get a job shipping stuff out but then you can't you can't do uh you can't play video games um yeah like it's uh it's it's weird like i
Starting point is 01:18:31 I'm trying to figure figure that stuff out like um like I was I was thinking of requesting extra equipment so I can record better but like at the same time as I was saying like I don't I just don't have the space for anything so like maybe I'll talk to Josh about that hey can get any money so I can afford a new place so I can record the podcast of better quality do you think Johnny will go for it probably not yeah I think so either I wish it's you have better equipment at the office go to the office Yeah, but they're going to get my nose swabbed every day or like every of the week.
Starting point is 01:19:12 And that stuff's not fun. Logistics coordinator. There you go. That's probably what that is. I have no idea what the logistics coordinator it is, but apply at nzixie.com slash careers. And maybe one day we'll have a mailman, a mailman role. I was going to say, people told me they took brain samples.
Starting point is 01:19:34 No, they don't put take brain samples. kidding me yeah dentists like a brain yeah exactly that's why that's how I was saying like how far that that swab went like they literally couldn't find the end of it she'd be so weird
Starting point is 01:19:50 if they did that they just like swab the inside of a brain or something really really weird let me see what is this I don't know if I have monsters in this chat is he in here right now I'm on I don't know if he's listening but yeah send that yeah no that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's definitely not legal
Starting point is 01:20:10 technically that Takeshi 69 sticker is super legal there you should totally buy one of those um fun fun fun fun podcast stuff for people who really have no idea I'm talking about but he responding to someone D um um what we got here CS 1.6 dude I remember playing CS1.6 for all who don't know Ivings to be a pro a super big pro at kind of strike yeah It used to be. Used to be. And then the Fire Nation attacked.
Starting point is 01:20:42 No, then I just got married and had a baby. It's basically it. I grew up. I mean, you still can. I still play games, but it's like to play a game like CSGO. To play a game like CSGO, that's the type of game you have to play every single day for like, minimum four or five hours honestly to like you know stay good at it but now i just play you know like 30 minutes a day or something yeah i surprisingly i have a lot less time i play video games
Starting point is 01:21:22 these days um but when i do play it's like it's like so i i realized this the other day i wanted to play video game and i was like okay they got definitely destiny. I started playing satisfactory, right? Which are the games I was looking at here? Some of the games. And like every single game that I have is like work. I don't have any like dumb fun games just to hop on display. Because like everything now is almost kind of like a grind, right? Like every game has some kind of grindy aspect to it to kind of keep you playing. And like I'm trying to figure out what game is out there that isn't a grind that I could just play just to play it. And then I like, you know, turn it off and I don't feel bad about it. There's tons of games like that.
Starting point is 01:22:04 Name me two. Tetris 99 and Marrile. But there's ranks in there, though. Mario Deluxe. What's Mario Deluxe? I never heard of that. It's a Switch games. The heck is this? This is a brand new?
Starting point is 01:22:24 No, it came a couple. It's like a, it's a Wii game, but they put it on the switch. Okay, it's just a platformer. A couple years ago, yeah. It's awesome, dude. game. I play the game a lot, actually. Any single player game. So see, here's the thing, Jake, right? I want to play a single player game, but a lot of single player games are really, really long as well.
Starting point is 01:22:46 So that's the thing, right? Like, I want like a nice, short-ish, sweet experience that doesn't require me to grind. I just play the game and enjoy it, right? But a lot of the, like, a lot of game development these days hinges on, unlike you playing a lot, right? Like, example, The Witchers really good, but it's a little. like a lot of granny aspects to the witcher as well right like getting like the witcher gear and stuff
Starting point is 01:23:08 like that like i have um i've been wanted to play yakuza zero but i know there's like a lot of like grandy aspects of that game too like i know 100% as soon as i can in that game i'm ahead over to the casino see if you can build my money right and i'll be stuck there for like five hours virtually gambling in the game that literally has no impact on my life but i'm going to do it because that's the kind of person i am i know i'm going to dedicate my time to that stuff so i don't do it totally parable that's a good one yeah I mean the last game I really enjoyed that life was just really nice and short was
Starting point is 01:23:39 brothers I don't know if you know that one brothers tales of two sons it's like two hours long and it's like a really nice story short and sweet nothing too crazy it's just here's the story portal yeah see but portal came out like five years ago or like more than five years ago
Starting point is 01:23:59 yeah no long time ago actually Porto came out. Probably like 20 years ago. That's part of the Orange Box, right? Orange Box. Orange Box. Yeah, that was Portal. That came out in 2007. This is the year I graduated.
Starting point is 01:24:18 Yeah, no, that was a real one time ago. Doom Eternal. Doom Eternal was great. I like Doom Eternal, but honestly, I kind of like Doom 2016. I think Doom Eternal is the better game mechanically, but from a tone perspective, I still like Doom 2016 better.
Starting point is 01:24:31 Doomiturno has like legit like clown noises in the game. Like you'll like jump up on like a, on like a caca demon and you'll pull its eyeball. It's like it's like really weird noises. I'm not sure. I'm not into that. I'm definitely not into that. Yeah, like I'm not into the, into the gory either. I like Doom, but I prefer Wolfenstein.
Starting point is 01:24:57 It's a little less gory. Wolfensin's kind of brutal, though. It is. It is. It is. It is. But I just, if it's more, I prefer the more, I guess, realistic, even though it's not super realistic than fighting like demons.
Starting point is 01:25:17 I rather, I rather fight people than monsters, basically. Yeah. I get that. I get that. I like, I don't know, I'm trying to think how to, how to, like, properly articulate this. But, like, I do like do maternal a lot. I think it's a really, really fun game. But Gord doesn't bother.
Starting point is 01:25:35 me the thing that bothers me from from from from Dume Eternal or in a thing that bothers me about Dume Eternal that's the way you say it that's all English works is um there's like a lot of cartooniness to the game that I don't understand why it's there right and I know Dume is definitely a game that didn't it doesn't take itself seriously right Dume Dune 2016 I felt like in dude 2016 everybody was in on the joke right like this game is not serious it's doom you're killing demons in space on mars right so it's not it's not a serious game but there weren't like clown shoe noises right as i'm talking about like it was it's still felt serious
Starting point is 01:26:16 but there was enough of like a tongue-in-cheek aspect to it that like you can still enjoy it and still kind of have fun with it whereas with with a doom eternal like you'll literally like you'll you'll do like a glory kill on like a demon and then like confetti flies out of his head And like, you know, you get like a, you know, nice job or something. I mean, it's not literally what happens, but it's, it's like in the same vein. It's like almost too much of a joke, which is like what kind of turned me off to the game from that perspective. But it's still like leaps and bounds the better game than doing 2016. It's just much, much better, except for the Marauders.
Starting point is 01:26:56 They can die and be deleted from the game and that would have no problem whatsoever. I hate them to the worst. But other than that, though. Yeah. for me is really more a tone perspective. Actually, I uninstalled Doom Internal yesterday because I thought they would bring out some DLC
Starting point is 01:27:11 by now, and they haven't. So I'm just going to wait until they release something else so I can continue playing it. I don't want to do the grindy like master level stuff they threw in there. I'm not down for that.
Starting point is 01:27:27 Ashoki, how are you so good at multitasking, reading DMs, reading messages here and there and still being able to talk fluently. I was going to say I'm not going to multitasking. I'm telling you, man. Multitasking is not possible. And I told you, in a perfect world, I would not have to multitask,
Starting point is 01:27:47 but I literally do have to watch the recording, watch the chat, and also just make sure we're staying on time for stuff. Speaking of which, I'm going to do one less question. And I saw this up a little bit earlier, or was it? thoughts on TikTok being banned in the U.S.
Starting point is 01:28:07 What are your thoughts on that, Ivan? I... Mm-hmm. I don't know. I really thought about it, to be honest. Yeah. I still use it, so it's like... Yeah, like, I don't post anything on TikTok,
Starting point is 01:28:29 but I love scrolling through it because I get all these videos of, like, guys doing burnouts trucks for some reason. I'm literally like all my all my videos are just people burning out in trucks. But I enjoy it. It's wrong. Yeah. I think we talked about that last week.
Starting point is 01:28:50 I know. I don't really know. I mean, people say it's going to get banned, but I'm still browsing it. So it's obviously not gone anywhere, you know. I don't think, you know, I don't really think that there's going to be anything like, you know, I don't know. I don't even know. know if like Microsoft can like actually buy TikTok. I think they make a lot of money.
Starting point is 01:29:11 There's ads all over that thing, dude. There's ads all over, all over TikTok. It's kind of annoying to be honest. Like I'll be scrolling and it's like, hey there, stop, take a break. I'm like, no. I'm like, go away.
Starting point is 01:29:23 Random person who I don't know. Like I didn't subscribe this channel. I'm not following it. Stop serving me this content telling me to get off the app. That's the exact opposite. It's TikTok the next mixer. Oof. plus up to Microsoft.
Starting point is 01:29:41 Okay. I think we're going to end that there so we can kind of get out of here on time. Ivan, do you have anything you want to bring up real quick before we get to the roundup stuff? Just want to tell everyone to, yeah. Just tell everyone to like stay safe and wear a face mask and social distance.
Starting point is 01:30:07 please, please follow the rules. Be safe. Be kind to each other, yeah, be safe. I want to be able to go outside in like four months and like grab dinner with friends. Be nice to each other. Yep, behave on the server. I think, I think this is a good, it's a good test for human beings to see how nice we can be to each other. Because it's crazy times.
Starting point is 01:30:33 Well, the U.S. ain't passing. Crazy times And we could all We could all use a little bit more positivity In each other's lives right now Yeah like there's a Like there's a lot of countries that like I've gone through really bad stuff
Starting point is 01:30:51 And now they're opening up And like, people seem pretty chill over there And we're like here in the US Hey you know how things are getting better Now they're a lot worse. Stay inside. And like I feel like in the beginning I was really like
Starting point is 01:31:04 I don't say worry about it was really like cognizant of that stuff. Like now it's just kind of like going over my head, you know? Like I'm not even like thinking about it anymore. It's like this is just what life is at this moment in time, you know? It's really surreal. It's really, really surreal. It's like I thought it would be like, you know, going on to dinner with friends or something. Hasn't been any more disasters in a while, which would be normal, but it's weird for 2020.
Starting point is 01:31:29 Yeah, right? Like it's been in really oddly chill moment right now. We're all good here in California. Bro, California is scary right now.
