Starting point is 00:00:11 Hello, everyone, and welcome to episode 131 of the NCXT podcast, the official podcast of the NXT community. This podcast is recorded live every Thursday at 10 a.m. Pacific Standard Time on the NZXT Twitch and is available to stream on demand on Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts, Spotify, and SoundCloud. My name is Mike, and with me, as always, is Ivan. Ivan, how are you doing? Doing good, man. I'm actually not always with you, but I am here this week. Yeah, welcome back. Thanks, man. I tuned into the last podcast I missed and you did a good job. You don't need me anymore.
Starting point is 00:00:48 So I might just retire from podcasting. Never need you. Never need you. But anyway, today's podcast is going to be a little bit different than previous episodes. We've done this before. It was pretty fun. So we wanted to do it again. And that is answering your questions.
Starting point is 00:01:08 And when I say your questions, I say, listener questions and people who are tuning in or watching live right now on Twitch. So if you guys have questions, you can, and you're watching live, you can just drop them in the chat here. And then Mike and I will answer them throughout the show. You can also ask us questions on Instagram. So just go to our story. And we asked, we prompted people to ask us questions earlier this morning. We got a bunch of them. So we're just going literally go down the list and start answering questions. And the first question I want to answer here is literally the one that
Starting point is 00:01:49 it gets asked the most. Every time we ask people who, or tell people to ask us a question, the first thing that they ask is can they get a free PC? So the answer is no, you cannot get a free PC. I wish we could give everyone a free PC, but people think, you know, they don't cost us anything. And not only do they cost us anything, but Mike and I literally have no power on social media. Our only power on social media is we get to post, but it's like Mike and I don't have,
Starting point is 00:02:26 you know, a storage room full of computers that we can just give out to people who want it. So no, you can't get a free PC unless you enter one of our many giveaways. for a long time, we actually did not give away free computers, Mike. Did you know that? Yeah, yeah. It's crazy the thing that a PC company doesn't give free PCs. Well, that's the thing is we weren't always a PC company.
Starting point is 00:02:55 Like when I first started working at NZXT, we were a PC hardware manufacturer, right? Like, we just made computer parts. We just made cases, coolers. lighting accessories, things like that. We didn't even make computers. So when I first started working here, people would go on social, I can then get a free PC.
Starting point is 00:03:19 I would just tell them, no, we don't have computers. We don't make computers. That was the truth. Like, we did not make computers. And then when we launched build in 2018, that's when we started making computers for the first time.
Starting point is 00:03:31 And that's when we started giving me a computer. So contrary to popular belief, NZXC does give away free PCs. I feel like we do a lot of giveaways. You know, we do giveaways every week. It's not always for a few computer, but if you do on a free PC, just follow NXT on social media
Starting point is 00:03:50 and, you know, maybe one day, it will be your lucky day and you will win. Right, Mike? True. I mean, you got to keep trying until, you know, hopefully you do win one of these. So keep trying, it's easy for you to do. Just do it.
Starting point is 00:04:05 Yeah. Yeah, and like twin daddy in the chat here says, it feels nice to get things away. And I agree. Like, I personally love giving things away. Just this morning, I gave away a poochie to one of the warehouse guys who, he's been asking you for a while and I haven't been in the office in a couple weeks. And he's like, hey, man, do you have any more poochies?
Starting point is 00:04:31 Because I really want one. And I was like, yeah, man, I would love to give you one. So when I can, I can. All right. Next question is from, and I'm just going to read these from my phone here. So you have stories. It's from KD underscore Voss.
Starting point is 00:04:50 He wants to know, Mike. How are you doing social media, dude? I'm doing good. I'm doing good. How are you also social media, dude? I'm doing good as well, man. I want to know, Mike. How is it living?
Starting point is 00:05:04 and I don't want to docks you, but you really moved. No, you can, yeah, that's fine. It's public that I moved over to Seattle recently. How do you like it up there? Honestly, I love it. It's been really fun of coming into a place that like, it's a walkable city. In L.A., in Southern California, you have to,
Starting point is 00:05:27 basically, you have to drive. And that causes traffic, that causes accidents. there causes a bunch of issues. But Seattle's everything's walkable. Literally 15 minutes walk is my gym. Back home, I would have to drive 10 to 15 minutes to the gym. So instead of, you know, gas, pollution, all that stuff, I walk everywhere. And honestly, it's such a nice place.
Starting point is 00:05:52 My roommate that I'm living with, she was my little in our fraternity back in college. You know, we were such good friends back then, moved in with her. and then yeah no we're doing good we're having great time be able to Seattle freeze yeah not really honestly like people say that i don't i haven't really noticed that at all honestly most people i talk to are really nice i know i think it's like those that are native to seattle that lived in Seattle like physically lived there their entire lives they tend to be a little bit more stagnant a Seattle freeze by the way is like um if you talk to a lot of people they tend to just push brush you off Those that come into Seattle from other places, they tend to be very, very nice. I was actually really jealous of you yesterday because former intern Annie went up to Seattle
Starting point is 00:06:45 and you were hanging out with her and you posted a picture in our Slack. And you guys were both wearing jackets. And meanwhile, over here where I'm at, man, I'm like, it's honestly like 100 degrees every day and now for like the last couple of weeks. So I was super jealous of that. Yeah, it was like 70 degrees cloudy. It was so nice. I was wearing a jacket.
Starting point is 00:07:07 Honestly, that's why I love it is because I like cold weather. And as much as I loved the weather in Southern California, God, it's so hot, so blistering hot. And even hot here, like, when it gets 90 degrees, it's still like, it's bearable. It's very bearable. Yeah. All right. Next question here is from N. Williamson 8-815. they want to know pink cases when so nzxte has made one pink case that i'm aware of and that was in
Starting point is 00:07:44 2010 and it actually started as an april fool's joke which isn't so funny like in retrospect but this was before my time so it's not my i don't take credit for the april's joke but the joke was that nzx t made a pink case and it was the phantom and And people liked it so much that we actually decided to make it a real case, a limited edition. And it's sold out really, really fast. And to this day, if you go search for it online, like people, people sell them.
Starting point is 00:08:16 And I've seen them sell for several hundreds of dollars. So very popular. And we haven't made a pink case since then, although I would love it. I just don't know if we ever will do it again. but I think it would be cool of not just pink, but we just did colors for every single product,
Starting point is 00:08:38 but, you know, it's not as easy as people might think to do that. It's also not as cheap as people might think, so who knows, but the future will hold. Would you rock the pink case, Mike? Yeah, 100%. I have a couple
Starting point is 00:08:54 like pink shirts and stuff like that that I were frequently. It's a fun color. I like bright colors anyway. Like most of my wardrobe back then was like black, blue. That's it. Gray. Now I'm like, I actually have color now. So heck yeah, I'll do that.
Starting point is 00:09:10 Related question from Nick Stocker 2003. What's your favorite color? My favorite color is yellow. Favorite color is the brightest color. My favorite color is black because that's how I feel on the inside. Oh, my man. What is actually your favorite color? To be honest, it is black.
Starting point is 00:09:33 I like black, yeah. Goes with everything. I don't know. It's like black. I just think it's a cool, cool color. My second favorite color was white. It's very simple, black, black and white. I got to get you on like some sort of color.
Starting point is 00:09:48 I got to get you on like a neon something or like an orange or something. My favorite colors are black, white, and plaid. Flat. I mean, you do. wear a lot of flannels. That makes sense. I love like flannel shirt every single day in my life. I have a couple of questions from chat. I want to get through real quick.
Starting point is 00:10:14 Zombie Clint asks, what's your favorite product from ZXT? All-time favorite product from NZXT has to be the puck. Just because in my opinion, it's the it's the weirdest product and I love weird. So to me that's like my favorite like all-time.
Starting point is 00:10:41 Current product right now probably has to be our new H7 cases. And the reason is because we haven't had a new case lineup in a while. So it's been really awesome seeing everyone's builds in the H7. on social media, like case, it came out really nice, you know, and there's three versions of it now, so which is also cool,
Starting point is 00:11:08 uh, you know, for the longest time, people made memes that, you know, NCXC cases don't have airflow or NGC cases don't have enough RGB, things like that,
Starting point is 00:11:20 and like, now they do. So it's cool. Whether you want a case that's optimized for airflow or a case as optimized for RGB or a case that, you know, you just want a plain case. case like we have all that now so it's pretty cool yep people people were like oh nzx
Starting point is 00:11:36 never has airflow and then you look and then you'd look at like some of the um testings like gamers nexus did like a testing of our 8-7 flow and then it outperform the majority of cases and i'm like they're like oh no nzxc doesn't know airfoam like do you not keep up with any times like i understand it's a mean but like you know try something new give me give me something better you know try better yeah what's your favorite product my favorite product is probably one of the craft cases um oh man there's so many good ones i think my favorite design that we've done is probably the volhalla case because of the etching of the glass let me see if i could show it like the etching of the glass is probably one of the coolest things
Starting point is 00:12:21 i've ever seen i also love the color of like the blue and everything it's like a sea green blue i just love the crafting of everything but honestly most of the craft cases are just so good I just like the design because it's a video game so you can kind of see everything It's probably one of my favorites This reminds me This is not a craft case
Starting point is 00:12:40 But do you mind showing The case that Excuse me The case that I retweeted Yesterday Oh you know what Let me pull that up actually Yeah yeah I know what you're talking about
Starting point is 00:12:53 Yeah from a shout out to MNTC Tech It was a really really cool case mod Yeah here we go Guys just take a little look at this case. Just look at this thing. I saw this and I was like... How?
Starting point is 00:13:09 How did he make this? It's really, really cool. God, like, look at this thing. Look at the... This thing physically moves, too. Like, is it just one of the coolest things? It's legit a castle with an orc inside of it. Like, what?
Starting point is 00:13:26 And here it is. Orcs must die. Love that game, by the way. I want a favorite games. I haven't played it, but I, do want to play it now just to look this case. It's insane. It's legit.
Starting point is 00:13:37 Like, I can't even fathom like the time and effort it took to do something like that. Like, it's crazy. Absolutely insane. Yeah. He's actually, MNPC tech has made, they've been working on NZC case mods for years.
Starting point is 00:13:59 Like, ever since I can remember, they've been making, case mods they can look at him because that's that's insane yeah straight insane yeah
Starting point is 00:14:12 next question here is from Jaden Lau 09 they ask what does NZXT stand for and I would like to tell people that we stand for what is right we stand for all gamers
Starting point is 00:14:29 and all weaves around the world nice but in reality like people are asking you know is it an acronym for anything and I wish it was because it would be cool I could just tell people oh MZC stands for New Zealand stock exchange or something like that but no it's literally nothing it's just our founder Johnny thought it looked cool and just stuck with it that's really it kind of a related question from space has died is what inspired you to create NZT. So I didn't create NZXT, but I do know the origin story, so I'll tell it quickly. Our founder, Johnny, when he was a wee lad of about 16, 17 years old, he just got this idea in his head that he wanted to make a computer case
Starting point is 00:15:29 that a gamer would want on their desk, because at that time in the early 2000s, every computer case was a beige or a brown box. Like, there was no case that had like a gamer, a quote-unquote gamer aesthetic. So he designed it and he called it the NZXT Guardian. And that was what started the company. The company started with that case and it was just him.
Starting point is 00:15:59 And the case had a lot of features. that became really popular in the PC gaming industry. Like, you know, it had funky colors, integrator RGB lighting, a side panel that you can see inside of it, things like that, you know, like things that are now are kind of common, but back then they weren't.
Starting point is 00:16:23 And that's literally what inspired him to create the company. And then from there, you know, when everyone started making similar, cases with like funky shapes and colors and things like that. He kind of reinvented the company by making things simpler again, such as when he came out with the first white case ever, believe it or not, which was the phantom lineup. And then from there, the cases just be getting simpler and simpler and simpler until we were at where we're at right now. The next question here is from FNH7.
Starting point is 00:17:05 Will you launch a mouse? I don't know, Mike. Should we launch a mouse? Let me, let me take a quick look. I'm not, I'm not sure if I'll ever launch your mouse. We just did.
Starting point is 00:17:21 It's called the NZXT Lyft, available in a variety of colors. I like it. It's very comfortable. Very comfortable. It's a very, simple mice and I love it. It's super easy to use. So that's all I don't need like the crazy like I know like people need like the 20 buttons of macro and everything like that.
Starting point is 00:17:42 Oh, hey, Haley. Oh, she got. Oh, you got the purple. Nice. Nice one. I'm not to be a, I'm probably the outlier here. I'm not a huge fan of really light mice. I was kind of skeptical about our mouse when I found out how much it was going to weigh. But after using it, it for a couple months now, it's really grown on me. It's primarily the shape more than the weight, to be honest. It just feels really good in my head. I like it a lot.
Starting point is 00:18:14 I have a quick question from Chat. Asteroid 006 asks how to become an NZXT partner. I actually, let me go ahead and put the link in chat. Actually, we have one of our partners in chat right now.
Starting point is 00:18:30 Basically, you go ahead and apply for the partner program, and one of our partner, one of our people here will basically review it. And you guys also have to make sure that, you know, you don't have to be the biggest stream of all time, but make sure that, you know, you have a decent audience, you are an awesome person in general. You don't have to have, like, millions and millions of followers, like the top streamers in the world. Some people that we have don't even stream. There's a content creator.
Starting point is 00:18:57 So apply. Doesn't hurt to apply. And, you know, down the road, go ahead. Yeah, hey, yeah, there you. There she is. he knows. Exclamation partners, right, if you're in the chat? Yep.
Starting point is 00:19:14 Do you want to ask some more chat questions if I go back to story questions? Oh, hey, Tiffany. Should I reply if I applied like two months ago? If you didn't get response, you don't need to reply. Every single person will get a response. It's just that we basically only have like one or two people really working on it.
Starting point is 00:19:31 So just give us a little bit of time. But you should get some sort of response no matter what. If you do get a rejection, go ahead and reapply. It doesn't hurt to go for it. By the way, Tiffany Lockhart, I LOLLed at the Squidward meme. You posted the other day. That was hilarious.
Starting point is 00:19:49 You're on hinged, Tiffany. You're a little, you know, I got to show it. I'll show it. I don't think it's, I'll think, yeah, no, it's SpongeBob. It's okay. Let me see I can pull it up. I opened up Twitter and I was like, what did you do, Mike? I didn't do anything, okay?
Starting point is 00:20:03 All I did, I did ask for, I don't know. I just replied because I was just like, what is this? I'm going to pull up to these things. I downloaded it to my phone. That's how much I liked it. It was hilarious. Here we go. Y'all want to see this?
Starting point is 00:20:18 I'm going to throw you under the Buzz Stephanie real quick. Squitter is a batty. I replied with just a couple dots like, what are you doing? And this is what she decided to reply with. You're a batty too. Yeah. I put that in my meme folder.
Starting point is 00:20:41 Whoa. I just have no. I just saw that. I go, what the? Thick PC? No, come on.
Starting point is 00:20:53 Nothing ever goes wrong or unsclered. True. I admire. I admired a quickness too of that. That was like really quick. Yeah, it took you six minutes to make that, Tiffany. Just, all right, you know what?
Starting point is 00:21:11 I'm just throwing us up. I'll throw a PC on it. Done. Just set it like instant. No, no hesitation. Let's see. Next question, Mike. Yeah, I'm pulling up the next one real quick.
Starting point is 00:21:28 Oh, Juan asked, are you excited, are you guys excited about the StarForge system PCs? Have you read into that? Yeah. So this is like, I don't know why people think that is so like controversial or a hot take, but. like people on social media sometimes are kind of shocked that like nzxte is friends with other PC companies and we are and the reason is because it's like I'm not just trying to like make this up right now the reason is because we really do want the the PC gaming industry to grow not just us right so I don't really personally see companies like that
Starting point is 00:22:16 as quote unquote competition. It's more like, like, you know, great. There's another company now it's going to push PC gaming forward, get more computers to people, get more people playing and using a computer for playing video games, you know. So I think it's cool. And I think it's also cool that it's a company started by, you know,
Starting point is 00:22:38 streamers. And the reason why I think that's good is because it's, you know, it's another way for a content creator to have like a revenue stream, you know, beyond just like going in front of the camera and doing something. So I think it's cool. Obviously, it is my best interest to have people buy in VIXC computers, but that doesn't mean I don't think, you know,
Starting point is 00:23:04 other companies are bad or anything like that. So I wish them luck. And we'll see where it goes. What do you think about it, Mike? Yeah, I was going to say, like, you know, so it's awesome. I mean, I watch a majority streamers anyways. Like, I watched literally, like, pretty much 80 to 90% of them, especially, like, Moist Critical and Miscif and stuff like that.
Starting point is 00:23:29 The prices are high just because I assume it's just because it's new company. But actually, there was an article that I pulled up for that. It was that Moist actually, which is awesome, which I love, that he's being transparent about it, is that he is saying, like, I understand the pricing. Pricing is a lot higher than usual. We'll try our best to basically bring it down, which is awesome.
Starting point is 00:23:50 Like that's, that's good. Like, at least he's addressing the concerns of it. So wish them luck as well. Like, I'm excited to see, especially because,
Starting point is 00:23:58 you know, I'll watch all these guys too. So it'll be fun. Yeah. And Starview is saying that they're affiliated, affiliated with Artesian builds, the controversial artesian.
Starting point is 00:24:10 I have no idea if they are. their whole backstory or anything like that. I don't think it's there. I don't think it was mainly just the CEO of Artesian that had the issues. So I think as long as it's not them should be fine.
Starting point is 00:24:27 I do know that a lot of the people that worked at Artesian builds started their own company. I just can't think of the name right now off the top of my head. Yeah. I wish I knew it because
Starting point is 00:24:41 I would love to tell you that. But I know, I know like a large portion of them did start of their own thing, which is also pretty cool. Yeah. Yeah. Oh, yeah. Is it Phoenix TCs? I think that's what it is.
Starting point is 00:24:55 I think that's what it is. Yeah. I think it is. Yeah. Everyone else is fantastic. Like literally, like we, I, uh, we actually, I started retweeting a lot of stuff because a lot of people were getting to let go. I retweet a lot of those.
Starting point is 00:25:07 They're awesome people. Don't feel like those that work for them have done that. I know it's a little bit of controversial statement, but. I think these people are awesome. Like there should be no controversy with these guys. Especially because these guys are also well-known people. So like if they're going to be held accountable no matter what. So like if you have any issues like pricing right now and voice addressed it, so it should be pretty good.
Starting point is 00:25:33 Let's see. I'll get to the next one. I'll do one more from chat and then we can go back to the Instagram ones. Oh, so you guys just want to capture cards. what is the next peripheral on your wish list to get the NZXC treatment? Peripheral. Or really any product. Let's just expand to like product that you want.
Starting point is 00:25:59 I would love an NZXT controller. Like a like any controller, like just for? No, like a controller. Like our take on a handheld. Interesting. But just for PC? No, for anything. just a USB controller, you know, you can plug into whatever.
Starting point is 00:26:20 Can that work? Can you use any sort of controller for, like, can you use like a, like a off-brand, like one for, like a console or anything? Can you do that? I'm not sure about console, but I know on PC, like, I've used, I'm kind of a controller freak. I have a drawer in my house. I think I have like 20 controllers.
Starting point is 00:26:40 And we all work on my, yeah, like, I love, that's kind of one of the things I collect. So I know for sure on PC Like literally any controller will work You can plug it in or connect via Bluetooth I'm not sure about consoles But I think it'd be cool If NZXT came out with like Its own controller
Starting point is 00:27:06 Instead of the XYAB buttons It was just NZXT That'd be cool too That'd be so annoying Million dollar idea That'd be so annoying Because when I play my switch and it's like, oh, plus X, but then I'm used to like Xbox X or PS, PS5 X.
Starting point is 00:27:23 I'm like, which one? Which one's X? I think I told you recently I had to like clean up my house a bit. So I don't have a computer right now at home. And I fired up the switch the other day because I want to put some video games. And I was like, why are these buttons backwards? It's like, oh, yeah, I'm going to look at freaking Nintendo right now. It drives me nuts that Nintendo's backwards.
Starting point is 00:27:46 Yeah, it drives me insane Wait Wait, how do you How do you break Your step-like? I don't how do you break your triggers that hard? Like how hard do you press your your triggers for them to regularly break?
Starting point is 00:28:04 Oh my God Do you rock live? Do you do you do what finger-strike do you have to break these things? Step-lag must have some giant ham-hands Jesus. I don't think I've ever broken controller from like, have you ever, have you ever raged or from like,
Starting point is 00:28:22 and through a controller or anything like that? No, I've, I've never, I've never gotten so mad at a video game that like I destroyed something. One time I broke a TV out of rage,
Starting point is 00:28:36 Villion man. What game were you playing? Oh my gosh. Yeah, I don't think I've ever, I don't think I've ever broken anything. I did slam, I do slam my death.
Starting point is 00:28:49 occasionally, I'm like, darn, you know, but like, that's it. Broke controllers from Trash Talk gaming is a gentle sport. That was damaged my left stick. Yeah, control drift is kind of a common thing. If you have a Nintendo controller, you can actually, if you start to get JoyCon Drift, you can actually send it to Nintendo for free. They'll send you a shipping label. You just got a box up, ship it to them.
Starting point is 00:29:09 They'll send you back a brand new one. That's why it was one of my things. Apparently, it's like a really common thing, too. It's so common they have a website for it called like, Yeah Nintendo JoyCon Refund or something Yeah you basically just like
Starting point is 00:29:24 You apply for it You just like tell them like Hey I have a blue left one That the left The drift is bad or something like that They'll test it They'll confirm Instead of you brand new one
Starting point is 00:29:34 Super easy Speaking of Nintendo When the podcast started Earlier I realized I realized you did something funny Mike So when
Starting point is 00:29:48 When Dennis was running the podcast, shout out to Dennis. Our theme music was the Nintendo Wii Shop theme, right? And it was cool because there's like tons of remixes online. And, you know, we did like over 100 episodes just using WeShop music. And it was fine. And then when Mike took over the podcast, I remember when Mike said, you know, I'm going to change the song because I don't want to get, I don't want to get in trouble by Nintendo, man.
Starting point is 00:30:15 Is that cool? And I was like, yeah, go for it. No problem. So what did he switch it to? Pokemon. No, so actually, I was wrong. So apparently the Nintendo thing. So there's a huge issue on YouTube right now for copyrights.
Starting point is 00:30:30 Anyone can claim themselves as a company and copyright strike people. So those that were getting copyright struck down, it was not Nintendo. Like they broke into it. They're like, no, it's just this one person going through thousands. and literally wasting hours. Like, this is not a bot thing. Like, you have to physically do this for hours a day to copyright strike people. YouTube has a really bad copyright system in general.
Starting point is 00:30:57 So you could claim that you are Nintendo, even though you have no proof and do it. Because the one that was claiming it was Nintendo of America, but the ones that actually are in charge of the actual, like, thing is, like, it's like sounds or something of Nintendo. It's really bad. So then I learned it was like, oh, it wasn't Nintendo doing it?
Starting point is 00:31:18 We're good. Yeah, YouTube, copyright striking is just, it's just rough in general. And not just that. Like, I think, um, I think it was Gamer's Nexus
Starting point is 00:31:30 recently, like, something happened where they couldn't, like, monetize their video or something. And then to make it worse, like, they couldn't get in touch with someone at
Starting point is 00:31:44 YouTube because their account their account reps like change so often that they literally like lost their contact or something and apparently there's a gamer nexus viewer who worked at YouTube or something that they were able to fix the issue but yeah it's pretty bad when like anyone can just you know
Starting point is 00:32:04 issue a copyright strike on someone right get it get it together YouTube it's just in general stuff like that and I love All right, ready to go to some more stories questions? Yeah, let's go for it. Oh, hey, hey, little. So, Spreezer, Mark,
Starting point is 00:32:28 Frizer, Spreiser, Park. They ask, do all coolers fit in all cases? So the answer is no, and I'm going to quiz you, Mike. I'm going to list out the cases, and then you tell me which of our current coolers fit in these cases, okay? I'll try my best. Yeah, let's do it.
Starting point is 00:32:51 H210. Which cooler are we doing? Any of our coolers, which fit, which of our coolers fit in the H210? Probably just the X53, if I'm correct. Is X63 as well? Do not? No, I thought that H210 is a 280.
Starting point is 00:33:13 Is it not? Yes, but you're forgetting other coolers. We have other coolers that fit in there. Oh, are you talking about a Cracken, the M-22 and then the 120? Yes. Oh, yeah, that's a given.
Starting point is 00:33:26 I'm talking about like the largest amount. I'm thinking of like the largest amount. Because as long as you do like the largest one, then you can, you know, fit it. Yeah. The X-63 and Z-7 and Z-63, they technically can fit in the H-T-10, although it's not, they're not officially supported.
Starting point is 00:33:47 I've seen it done. I have personally done it myself. Like Mini Me Kuddle says, if you have a little bit of muscle, you can do it. Same thing with our H1. Like there's certain graphics cards that technically should not fit in there, but with a little bit of muscle
Starting point is 00:34:06 and a little bit of, you know, cleverness, I guess. You can squeeze them in there. Like, they'll barely fit, but they will fit. Yeah, it depends also all the GPs, too, because GPs are just huge now compared to like back then. So really your best bet is getting like a mid tower or like a full size case, basically. H5 or like H5, what is it?
Starting point is 00:34:30 5 of 10 flow would be good. Or at 87 would be very like pretty much your like the best one. Because 87, if you want, if you can go for like the biggest size. Like the 87 can basically fit a 3, 6. the on top. So you might as well, if you have a front. Top and front. So if you can't, if you do it, do it because that, you know, obviously more fans will help out in general.
Starting point is 00:34:53 On top and front in push pull configuration. So yeah. So I guess the easy answer to that question is no. Not all of our coolers fit in all of our cases. The harder answer is if you want to know which ones, Like, if you go on the product page for it in case, we'll list out the radiator support. You know, you can figure it out. It's not that crazy. Or all, almost actually every single one of our coolest fits in to 8-7.
Starting point is 00:35:26 So that makes it easier for you as well. Magic Frog asked, would you ever think to make a cheap and fast SSD? What do you think, Mike? Should we make a cheap and fast SSD? Why not? I mean, it would be really cool to have a full NZXT setup. Like, you know, having NZXT,
Starting point is 00:35:48 GPU, RAM, CPU, that'd be pretty dope. But, you know, it's going to take time. It'll take time to make these things. It's not one of those things where it's like, yeah, we'll do it. Be done in a month. It will take, like, years to do.
Starting point is 00:36:01 The only reason I would say no is because I think it would be a really hard, hard thing to say, because it's like all letters. like NZXT SST. SST. Oh, you know what, you're right. That actually makes sense.
Starting point is 00:36:15 NZXT SST. Yeah, that'd be a lot. I agree. NXT RAM. Yeah. Yeah, you're right. NZXC CPU. CPU.
Starting point is 00:36:26 MC Tom, they ask, what is the most favorite fun activity you do in between work? For example, shooting Nerf guns. And this reminded me, so back in our old office,
Starting point is 00:36:39 but our creative director, Jin, I don't know why he was so into Nerf, but man, he had an arsenal of Nerf. He had like a whole wall just of like Nerf stuff. And we would have like some Nerf battles at the old office.
Starting point is 00:36:59 It was pretty fun. And I know like I know Minnie Cuttle here is asking about Airsoft. I know Vivian. Vivian does it. Vivian was like, she probably still does. Yeah,
Starting point is 00:37:12 she was like really into Aresoft. But besides that, I mean, right now there's not really much, I don't want to say there's not much fun at the office. Just there's not much, I guess,
Starting point is 00:37:23 in-person activities because a lot of us are still working remotely. I'm actually the only one from the marketing team that comes in here a lot. Yeah, because I mean,
Starting point is 00:37:33 I'm in Seattle now, so obviously I can't really visit very often. And even when I was back, home. It was mainly remote, so unless you, like, lived near the office or you had an obligation to go, you just, you know, work from home.
Starting point is 00:37:47 But we do, we do do things, like, remotely, though. We do, like, game nights. Ivan and I are also part of, like, the Tetris group. So we play, like, Tetris every, like, week for, like, 20 or 30 minutes. And it's really fun. You guys should get super get into Tetris as well, if you guys want
Starting point is 00:38:03 to do a fun little time. Yeah. And I know, Like, I see people around the office constantly watching anime. Everyone's listening to music. So I guess it's like probably those are the two most popular activities I see at the office are people just listening to music while they work. Well, and watching anime basically. Let me see the next question here.
Starting point is 00:38:39 A demonic 25 asks, when are y'all getting a shipment in for the built parts change? So this question comes up a lot on social media. The answer that we always tell people is, you know, our part selection changes often. And the reason it changes often is because it depends on what we can get our hands on, right? and it depends also like how the market is for different things. So for example, you know, GPUs, which in the last couple of years have fluctuated in terms of pricing, availability, things like that. We couldn't always get every single GPU. So like there's some days where it's like, okay, we have a lot of, you know, 3080s or whatever.
Starting point is 00:39:33 So we have to put these in our builds instead of 3080 TI or whatever. So it changes often. And I guess the thing that sucks about that is like we can't really control how that is. So we can't really give you an answer of like, you know, every Friday at 3pm, we're going to stock up on this thing or that thing or next week we're going to. get it in a shipment of this, and we're going to update that. It's not like that. So if you're waiting for a specific part, my only advice is to either check daily
Starting point is 00:40:17 or contact customer service who might have more detailed information, or if it's something that we make, you can always send up for email alerts on the product page, and then we'll email you once it comes back in stock. Let me see another question here. Et anyone asked, you were not satisfied with the headset quality and decided to take time and remake it. Any progress?
Starting point is 00:40:51 The answer is yes, there hasn't been progress, but it's still not ready. If you go to, I think it's nzxti.com slash audio, if I remember correctly. Unless the page that taken, down. But so those I don't know, we did try launching a headset a couple of years ago. And we just decided that, you know, it wasn't ready to launch. So we didn't launch it. And then we've run back to the drawing board. And since then we've launched other audio
Starting point is 00:41:29 products, you know, like this one, capsule mic. Our, our headset, you know, hopefully comes out soon, but still not an official date on that. Mike, we're almost out of time. Do you want to go through the chat questions to wrap this up? Yeah, I have actually one awesome one. Actually, you really like this one. From Zombie Clinton, do you guys ever plan on hosting community game night? Yes, actually. I'm going to figure that out soon. That has actually been on my list for, like, something that I really wanted us to do is do a community game night. So keep an eye out on our socials. I'll be trying to figure out some sort of way we can do it.
Starting point is 00:42:12 Maybe we can even get a stream going as well. And maybe we can have people join in. And then we can do like a simple one, maybe from our Discord or something like that. But yes, definitely we'll do something. We'll figure out the games. We'll do like a poll maybe. And we'll forget that out. So don't even worry about it.
Starting point is 00:42:29 Speaking of Discord, this is a related question here from Mike Wavy, who's asking, is there any possible way to get anything for free? And the answer is yes. If you go to the NZXT Discord server at Discord.g. slash NZXT, you can earn XP, which then allows you to get some free stuff. So you can get some free NZT stickers, lagers, t-shirts, pities, and even the coveted Pucci doll. So go to it, Discord.g.g.
Starting point is 00:43:00 slash NXT and get some free stuff. You won't get a free computer, but you could get a lot of other free stuff there. And then I guess I'll do one more. Let's see. I have a couple ones, but let's see if there's anything good I've missed, though. Oh, okay. How about this one? Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 00:43:24 Will you guys ever make a smaller mini ITX case? I actually really wanted to ask this one. Smaller than the H1? I don't know, but H1 is pretty small. Yeah. I was thinking like maybe another rerun at the H210, maybe. I don't know if there's too much demand
Starting point is 00:43:43 for too many mini-ITX cases as of now. But maybe down the road, we can probably do it, you know? A mini-itx is my personal preferred form factor. Really? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:44:00 I feel like an ATX case was a lot of wasted space. You know, because if you look at an ATX motherboard, or any ATX build for that matter. Like, there's just, like, empty PCIE slots, right? It's just wasted space.
Starting point is 00:44:20 I mean, I guess it's not quote unquote wasted because there's airflow traveling through there. But I don't know. I'm not one of those, like, performance junkies that, like, tries to squeeze every last ounce of air that's at my computer. I just want something small that looks cool on my desk. there is one there is one question
Starting point is 00:44:42 harley heart asked can we see you 1 v1 ivan versus mike on the podcast iven you get destroyed every single time just saying except for the super big of baseball i would get destroyed in that someone should actually we should have harley heart one v one on the podcast because she's a she's a huge wrestling fan i'm sure she did like beat anyone up You probably like do a suplex on someone. Do you want to do a one v1 real life, IRL?
Starting point is 00:45:17 Yeah, we'll just, we'll have a Harley Hard on here, just beat everyone up one at a time. Do you have any other questions that you want to go over before we do? We'll keep this podcast a little short because I haven't yet to head out soon. I got any questions that you want to ask or answer? Um, yes, but what I'm going to do is, because we have several hundred on our Instagram stories now. I'm going to answer some of those later today on Instagram stories and solve.
Starting point is 00:45:51 So if you guys didn't get your question answered here on the podcast, go ahead and ask them on stories, and we'll probably answer it later on in the day. Perfect. That was anything. All right. Let's see. I guess we'll go ahead and go a little bit into the announcements. If you guys have seen our Twitter, it is blowing up because we are accepting so many wonderful and amazing people to our partner program.
Starting point is 00:46:22 If you guys want to join the N60 family, please take a look at our partner program. It is awesome. And basically, are there any particular requirements for NX partner? No, not really. There's not too many requirements. You don't have to have an audience count, like, of X number. or you have to have this amount of people. You just have to be a really awesome person.
Starting point is 00:46:44 You have to also have some sort of audience, just a little bit. But really, you could be any sort of creator. We just have some people that don't even stream. So if you're a cool creator and you have a cool audience and we like you as in general, assigned for a part program. If you don't receive a response, it means we're still going through applications because we only have like one person really working through these. So if you do not get a response, you will get a response.
Starting point is 00:47:09 no matter what, either acceptance or rejection. So you will get a response. If you don't get a response at all, we're still going through applications. But we literally brought in like 10 to 15 people just recently, super amazing people. So please, apply, go for it. It's awesome. Take a look at our new canvas monitors. We actually just released the 27Q and the 32Q curved.
