Starting point is 00:01:42 I've had Scotch before this podcast, so anything's going to fly here today. I've had a good podcast. You could say anything and I'll think it's hilarious at this point. And I'll ask a favorite kind of Caitlin. Scotch, Caitlin is your favorite? No, no, no. Just like when you laugh at it. whatever I think you know what everybody always you know really drunk for that Rick was always a thing back in the day you know Rick but to be honest Rick was always just drunk Caitlin so even though Rick and Donna are sadly no longer
Starting point is 00:02:10 Rick's still here Rick is not a dying breed Rick's right or old Rick is a legend who will live on very much alive through Caitlin forever and ever amen uh Blair back by popular demand people want to hear from the Blair act you know I really really have missed our Blair at Recaps. I haven't seen you in forever. I have really missed knowing what's going on in your dating life. Like, now I just have to catch up with, oh, yeah. Well, I'm a dating life.
Starting point is 00:02:39 Me too. We all free of dating lives. Oh, my gosh. The three of us have a dating life. Well, and Cleo, she's drunk, so, like, we can ask her anything, and who knows what she'll say. Yeah, right. Cleo, that was my D.D. Yeah, I'm not drunk yet. I'm working on it. No, I'm saying Caitlin's drunk. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 00:02:55 We can ask Caitlin questions. Oh, sure. she'll say whatever ask away girlfriend okay go oh well i'll let you have you got warm up i'll i'll go back you're waiting till i have one more glass of line i'm gonna turn some things on to you you know you want to ask about my dating life you know it's great i have the power to edit i know you don't no i'm so excited to hear the update i'm so excited i've got notes i've got questions just to refresh anyone's memory who has been under a rock where was the blaret at we found her love wait like or love have you guys dropped the elbow
Starting point is 00:03:33 have you dropped the elbow gaitland you can't hey i don't you can't ask no you can't answer my question with another question we have when a mountain weekend with my family oh what a time to be alive oh my it's k wait this is what the hype has been since you know remember the first time I interviewed you and we talked about finding a guy and all of your Fs and everything you wanted to find in a man and a big thing was if he could hang with the family with the family in the mountains he has to love family his family love my family and like want to have a family and he does and he does I can't believe he made my grandpa cry what how he was so so I told him to bring his guitar because my mom was like tell him to bring his guitar and we can have a jam session
Starting point is 00:04:25 So he did, and then I convinced him to sing a song that he had written about me. Oh, okay. And my cousin was like, did you see Papa? And I was like, no. He was like, he was like tearing up when Luke was singing that song. And I was like, I was too. Luke sang a song he wrote about you in front of your whole family in the mountains. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:04:44 I was dying. The whole time, y'all. That's next level. That's crazy. The whole time. I was like, this about me, you guys. That song's about me. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:04:54 Oh, that's the most romantic thing. I've heard in a long time. Oh, sweet. Is it the most romantic thing that anyone has ever done for you? Um, he's just, don't hesitate. Well, no, I was trying to think.
Starting point is 00:05:05 Like, but not like somebody else. Like, he just does very romantic things. Like, his balance is just constantly one-uping himself. Yeah, literally. Wow. Like, for, for Christmas, he gave me a giant teddy bear, which has been on my bucket list to get one of those. And he knew that.
Starting point is 00:05:20 At the fair? No, no, no, no. Like, like, the teddy bears that are bigger than you. I saw it on Instagram. It was massive. It's like six foot and I, it's literally on my bucket. I have a really weird bucket list. Yeah, now I'm intrigued by your bucket list.
Starting point is 00:05:31 We also cross something else off my bucket list. It wasn't as fun as I was hoping. Oh, the Mile High Club? No. No. Just kidding. I've always heard that it's fun if you make out with pop rocks in your mouth. And it was just messy and not.
Starting point is 00:05:48 Yeah, that doesn't seem funny. It wasn't. I thought it would be exciting. Yeah, it sounded exciting. So I was like, add it to the bucket list. and we finally gave it a go. You should try it. No, not for me.
Starting point is 00:05:59 Yeah. Not for me. Well, I think it was just like the whole like, you're kissing and it just like random pops in your mouth. There's just so much chemistry. It's supposed to be like fireworks in your mouth. But instead it was like, this is messy. But it tasted good.
Starting point is 00:06:10 Oh my gosh. I recommend strawberry. Okay, what else is on your bucket list? Yeah. I'm so intrigued now. What's on Blair's bucket list? I have it on my phone. We should, tomorrow.
Starting point is 00:06:19 Yeah. Let's create a bucket list. Okay. Oh, do it. Okay. You've inspired us. I have like 30. items online. And that we have to do in 2019.
Starting point is 00:06:27 Only five? Yeah, only five. But they have to be like... Like, outrageous. Yeah, maybe not like... I'll let you read it. Okay. Oh, my gosh. I'm so excited. This is like a segment called Blair's bucket list. Here we go.
Starting point is 00:06:40 Your session is now starting. I forgot to say that earlier. Okay. Oh, in no particular order, she says. Yes. See Taylor Swift in concert. Check. You did? Yeah, I saw. Meet Taylor Swift, not check. Not check. You've done that. haven't you? I did. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:06:56 She's very sweet. I'm jealous. Yeah. She's, she's. There's a lot of hype that she's about to drop a new album and I'm very. Oh, you know what? She's been posting like little hints. Of course she has.
Starting point is 00:07:07 I know. She's so good. So good. She's got the world talking. I got to get a, you know what? This is my bucket list. Get Taylor Swift to wear a do. Oh.
Starting point is 00:07:16 And then to be on the podcast. Cleo, that's just ridiculous. Bucket list items are supposed to be achievable. Yeah. That's just crazy, man. We're putting it on there. Cleo, I like you, but you're crazy. See Kesha in concert.
Starting point is 00:07:31 Yeah, I saw that. I saw her. How was that? It was good. I've actually seen her a few times. See Avril Levine in concert. Yes. Did she, no, I don't know about that.
Starting point is 00:07:42 There's a rumor she died and that there's like, no, that's, you've heard that? You've heard that? Yeah, it's a conspiracy theory. Yeah, it's a conspiracy theory. She died and somebody who looked like her, like, took over to become her and I think it's a lot. Google it. You will go into it very, very dark hole. I feel like I'm going to see a shooting star.
Starting point is 00:07:59 You did. I saw a shooting star. Yeah. Right on the back of a motorcycle. I did that with Luke. That was the first thing we crossed off. He rides motorcycle. Yeah, he owns one.
Starting point is 00:08:09 What a G. Yeah. No, it only rides it. He, what a G. Yeah. Clee, doesn't your boyfriend own one? He doesn't own one. He just, but they ride him.
Starting point is 00:08:18 But yeah, we just rent them once a year. Jason. Step up your game. Jason's like, I actually ride. the like what are those things called like the birds a moped oh a bird scooter a bird scooter to my bank does he what a jeep and dusk we ride he's very practical you know what you can get on the back of that i've done that before oh i'll get it on the back of his bird that's right yeah that's right yeah i will i will ride his bird ride that bird i'll ride that bird all the way to the bank um crowd surf
Starting point is 00:08:49 haven't done it no we need to get you to a live podcast That would be incredible. That's what you need to do. You need to crowd surf at an off the vine live podcast. Well, you're like not coming anywhere near here. I'll fly you out just to cross this off your bucket list. Okay. Deal.
Starting point is 00:09:08 I'm not ruling that out. You know what, Cleet add this to my bucket list. Get Blair to one of our live podcast crowd surf. Done it. Okay. Done it. Done it. Perfect.
Starting point is 00:09:18 Done. Done it. Make out in the ocean. Oh. You know, we're going on a cruise at April. Well, and we'll just hope to cross that one off soon. And you have to go, like, wow. You're going on a cruise.
Starting point is 00:09:30 You guys are in love. You're going to be trapped on a boat. Yeah, we're excited. Wait, you know what, though? Maybe not under the ocean, but have you ever kissed underwater? No. Oh, that's... Yeah, I can't breathe.
Starting point is 00:09:44 No, but you've never kissed in the water. That's the exciting part. Are you going to die? I find it. Is this how you go? Maybe. Is this thrilling? Oh, my God.
Starting point is 00:09:52 Who knows? So romantic. Really? Yeah. kissing it. I mean, I love the thought of kissing in the rain. Yeah. That's on there too. Like on the hood of a car. Yeah. Maybe a bird. Maybe like Jessica Simpson style. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Maybe like Jessica Simpson's style yesterday being in a bikini. No, but you see a lot of people do those like underwater kissing photo shoots. I did that on the bachelor. It was you. It was me. Oh. Yeah, we kissed underwater. Very memorable. Wait, who was it. I was about to, I was about to say somebody, someone on the bachelor did that as a date. It was you. It was me. Oh. Yeah. We kissed under. water. Actually, it was kind of romantic. Great content for the Instagram, too. Oh, yeah. His name was. I'm sure you were wearing a long gown. And he was hot, but you didn't like him. There's no chemistry. I did like him. I actually really liked him at first. And then he became a douche canoe. Yeah. God, what was his name? Clint. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. You know what? And I don't want to say anything bad about my guys because everybody. I had a great batch and everybody acts differently in situations they're not comfortable in. Some people I like like douche canoes.
Starting point is 00:10:54 some people are not comfortable kissing underwater he was oh yeah it was very romantic but i did yeah i mean i just talked about this on one of my other podcasts with jason i was like cassie comes out of the water on bachelor dates and looks like a little mermaid goddess i came out of the water and look like a drowned rat yeah i don't look cute out of water i don't look cute and it's like oh you let your hair dry and it's like beachy wavy i'm like no i have like a rat's neck i have eight cowlicks and i don't have yeah i look like a boy It's like hair pushback and it's just sopping. I have a cowlick in the back of my head that makes me look like I have a bald spot.
Starting point is 00:11:29 Then my front are like like my front I can't really describe this over to a podcast. I'll have to show you a picture. Like my the front of my hair makes like a big S. Like, weewee. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 00:11:42 I'll take a picture. Anyways, back to your bucket list. That'll be how you can promote this podcast. Oh, there you go. Real scrim. Real scrim. I don't care. Zipline in the Swiss Alps,
Starting point is 00:11:51 dream big. Wow. start a sing-along. Oh, you've done that. I did that at Taylor Swift concert. Oh. Was it to a Taylor Swift song? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:11:59 Someone was like, somebody started sing along, and I was like, this is on my bucket list. I've got this. And I just started singing and then the whole, like, line sang. That's cool. Great. Make out in a hot tub. You haven't done that? No.
Starting point is 00:12:11 Girl, you ain't living. I know. It's quite uncomfortable. Actually, it's very hot. Oh. Own a giant teddy bear. Check. Thanks, Luke.
Starting point is 00:12:19 Make out. Hey, you haven't put a check mark next to make out. using pop rocks do you want to do it yeah do I have the honors wow this feels good oh now I get to see what's in your recent use a lot of weather emojis in your recent usage on
Starting point is 00:12:34 are you really what's happening no I think it was I think the the fire is like ooh like no no no no no there's lots of snow lots of rain umbrellas there's no there's a squirt look at all your weather you're in the weather section I was just
Starting point is 00:12:52 about to say that. I'm like, are you in the weather section? I didn't even know there is a weather section. Wow, are you a meteorologist? That's all you use. I was like, geez, rainbows, tornadoes. Oh, okay. Well, now I'm really going to your timeline. Okay. We've got the monkey cross. You know, a lot of monkeys. Puk. Airplane. Oh, a rose. Oh, girl. Okay, wait, checkmark. Where is the check mark in here? It's like to while she finds a check mark. Yeah. You know that one that is on my bucket list is to see a shooting star. I've never seen one. Really? No.
Starting point is 00:13:22 And I've been in so many places, but I feel like I don't have the attentions band to just like watch. Sit and wait. I was in Columbia and everyone, we were in, we're actually floating in the water at night. And I'm like, I'm determined to see a floating star, a shooting star. And every time everyone's like, I saw one. I was like, damn. And I looked away for a second.
Starting point is 00:13:40 That's the worst is when everyone's like, I'm shooting star and you're like, blah. I've seen like. And you miss it. Well, I was really, you must have seen so many in Edmonton growing up because the, the sky was so clear in Ladook. See, I saw so many. I was at a beach when I saw mine and it was there was like a good bit. You've only seen one?
Starting point is 00:13:56 I've seen like literally 30 you guys. I've never seen one. I was hoping that we'd see one in Iceland when we were watching them. And you didn't. What are they called? Northern lights. Northern lights. Okay, wait.
Starting point is 00:14:09 I think I just don't, yeah, I don't sit and look out like I'd rather, that's just boring to me to sit and look at the sky all day. Ooh, stay in overwater bungalow. That's what I want to do for my honeymoon. Yep, that's such a honeymoon. thing to do. Yes, borah, borah in the overwater bungalows.
Starting point is 00:14:23 Kayak somewhere really beautiful. Let me tell you, I got to kayak on one of my dates. It's hard. It's okay. I've kayaked before. Just not like, we are kayaking on the cruise, but it'll be like
Starting point is 00:14:35 crystal clear water. So that's kind of beautiful. Yeah, that'll be nice. Sing an original song in front of people. Girlfriend. Not about to do that. But you did. You created your own.
Starting point is 00:14:45 It's like a rat, though. It's called scrunchy gang. Yes. And I listened to it. every week. That's a wrap, though. That's not singing. It's my ringtone.
Starting point is 00:14:54 What if it was? I'm going to make it now. It's my alarm and my ringtone. That would be the most annoying thing to wake up to. The audio file, please. You would start hating me. You'd be like, Blair, shut up. Yeah, because if it was my alarm, like, I'll play the most beautiful song of my alarm and I'll get angry at it.
Starting point is 00:15:09 Learn a song on guitar. Luke can teach me that. Or, of course. Well, you can teach me that. Caitlin is a woman of many talents every time. She's about to show me like a really basic song, I bet. A basic. Like Mary had a little lamb, hot cross buns.
Starting point is 00:15:26 I mean it's basic, but it's probably trendy. It's not that basic. Oh. I'm going to put up the mic to the guitar. Here's what she's... I don't know if this is in tune even. sing along two days gonna be the day that they're gonna throw it back to you
Starting point is 00:15:56 by now you should have somehow realized what you gotta do come on kately oh i can't sing i don't believe that anybody feels the way i do about you now i don't know it and uh great because that was all the words i knew until the chorus. That's all the chords I know. That's a good guitar song to know.
Starting point is 00:16:23 That is, pretty simple. Good party trick. Absolutely. People think you're awesome and everyone knows the song. That was my go-to move in Vancouver when we would go out to the bars and God bless him. We all know I like the homeless because I supported them every year. And every time I came out of the bars, I'd be like, I'm going to find a homeless person. I'm going to give him money to give me his guitar and we are going to start a street band.
Starting point is 00:16:46 And we were going to draw crowds. And we did. That's awesome. Yeah. And that was my go-to song right there. So, hey, guys, so when it comes to choosing a product that's better than the rest, there's only one label that matters, brandless. Brandless cuts out the middle man to deliver just what matters.
Starting point is 00:17:01 They have more options you care about, high quality and pronounceable ingredients, organic fair trade, non-GMO, gluten-free, and vegan food items. Bakeware made a professional grade, aluminized steel by a family-owned company in the USA, premium diapers, organic baby foods for the moms, and protein-first pet treats for the dog moms, all at simple fair prices. Just going to the store and dealing with crowds stresses me out. Then on top of that, you're paying twice as much for something because the packaging looked fun. Starting point is 00:18:30 I'll just rapid fire through them because I feel like they're not that excited. Okay, I'm going to rapid fire through the rest of them. Skinny dip. Cleo and I did that this summer. Fly in a private plane. Clue and I did this. Okay. This is my bucket of, Caitlin.
Starting point is 00:18:47 Jeez. Be on national television. When? You crossed it off. Oh, it wasn't like, it wasn't as cool as you. You're like, oh, did that this summer? Did that does. No, that's on Thursday.
Starting point is 00:18:58 Did that a few times. Tree camp in Elk, California. What's that? Like a camp in a tree? It's like, yeah, it's like a big tree and there's like little, almost like little tents, like up in the tree. Oh, I love that. Caitlin and I will do that this summer. Yeah, we'll do that this summer.
Starting point is 00:19:13 Blair's like, I hate it. you guys. We're all going. See the northern lights? Shut up. Go away. Oh my God. That's actually next.
Starting point is 00:19:21 That's actually next on a fucking less clue and I did that this summer. It was actually just two months ago. I'll take you next time. I'll send you photos. Thanks. Swim with a dolphin. We didn't do that. But I'm doing that in April.
Starting point is 00:19:35 Are you on your cruise? Yeah. What cruise is this? What don't they do? A lot. You're on kayaking, dolphin swimming. Oh my gosh. We're doing one.
Starting point is 00:19:43 day it's called the like extreme excursion or something and you zip line over like the tree tops and cosomel and then you like ride these like dune buggies through like this town and then you like swim underneath in all these caves we're doing that one day and then we're doing dolphins one day and then the other day we're doing just like a beach day with an open bar and that's where we're having doing the kayaks you guys where you'll make so much fun oh my gosh and I'll live it up you're gonna cross so many things of a kiss in the rain you'll do that there yeah um cliff jump it doesn't rain cliff jump you can do that there uh read the entire bible you haven't i would have thought you had no don't you do that it's a lot i didn't go to bible school or oh the well the school that i went to we read the bible a lot
Starting point is 00:20:27 do you read the whole bible uh i mean i can't remember it was like elementary but um crash a wedding so much fun you have to okay it's one of my favorite past times i'll do it with you okay okay we'll document it you can edit the video we can put it on the IGTV perfect um oh my gosh what if we did a double date crashing a wedding that's happening that would be so triple triple date actually triple oh triple yes Blair Cleo can hear you live here okay that's fair that's fair that's fair that's fair watch the sunrise from the top of mountain very romantic cliff jump oh yeah you're going to do that on the cruise and own a convertible yeah what car do you drive right now Not a cool one.
Starting point is 00:21:10 Yeah, just rip the roof off. Bada boom, convertible. I actually have had car issues. Literally, it's like a convertible because freaking water soaked the inside of my car. Yeah, I have to go get fixed. There's something wrong. Wait, so this is that bucket list for, that's a lot of items. So maybe we should do more.
Starting point is 00:21:29 But you've crossed off a lot. Yeah. But the thing is, like, yeah, it's a lot of items, but so many of them are so doable. Yeah. Like, we're going to do five things on our cruise, you know? Which is awesome. that's fair but you know what's crazy and like that's life ends up being so busy like you're like there's a lot of them doable but that's why it's good to write a bucket list you have to write a bucket list
Starting point is 00:21:46 yeah because like skinny dipping we can do that right now in your bathtub yeah that's oh we're not going to oh yeah just kidding we're not going to cleo and i were at my parents place in the summer in um british columbia and i was like clee we have to go skinny dipping and then jump in um the hot tub after yeah and then you made out it's you just did everything on my i mean Making out with Cleo was definitely the top of my bucket list and what a, what a, you know, there was not a better time. No, we did it. Oh, yeah, we did. I'm just kidding. Wait, what? No, we didn't make up. Oh, but we did have fun. But that was my first time actually skinny dipping. Really? I was it exhilarating with me. It's exhilarating. It's therapeutic. It's exhilarating. It's, yeah. There's nothing like it. Wait, what did y'all skinny dip in? Like a hot tub or a lake. A lake. Yeah. Okanagin Lake. I just like, I didn't mean to say hot tub. I
Starting point is 00:22:37 was going to say a pool or in the hot tub after yeah the hot tub that was nice it was so nice you'll have to come in the summer we'll go um to my parents like house and you and you and luke can come and we'll go boating yeah and skipful day except i'll take a knee on the skinny dipping and you and luke can just go okay okay okay we'll take shifts me and luke can go skinny dipping then we'll go inside you and jason can go skinny dipping then you'll go inside and then clear what's your reference Adam. And we have a communal trampoline in the water. So then once we all go, we can just go naked trampolini. Yes. I just painted a really weird picture in my head. Yeah, I don't want actually all of my body to go up and down while I'm naked. But it's in the dark, so it's all good. Okay. Okay. But now let's find out more about you and Lou. Speaking of you and Luke, how weird was it for you once the blur it was all over, all the other boys disappeared and Luke was all yours.
Starting point is 00:23:30 It wasn't weird. It was like just exciting. Easy smooth transition. honestly I like forget that's how we met which is so weird like I'm like oh yeah I forgot I was like dating other people and like our first date was like ballroom dancing yeah yeah it's like I just like it just feels like I've been dating him for so long and I'm like oh I guess it's only been like three months Blair did I not tell you he was the one I know you did I didn't even tell her his name I just said I know this one guy is going to be your guy yeah you knew and he like even when you saw the date you know obviously there's like the two on one, but it was crazy. You know what you're saying you see chemistry? Just like when I listen. So much chemistry. Yeah. I listened to your podcast with Jason too.
Starting point is 00:24:11 It was over. Hey, Jason's mom said the same thing. Really? Oh no. Are you talking about the first one? All of them. It's not even you can't even see it. It's even over.
Starting point is 00:24:20 Jason's mom listened to our recent podcast and she was like, your chemistry is out of control. And Jason was like, really? Because we know it is. We know our chemistry is undeniable. But especially when you don't see it, when it's over the vote. like over voice yeah but enough about us back to back to that we can talk about like once it
Starting point is 00:24:39 end up just being luke did you see friends with any of the guys that you went on a on date with or not really um so jared he was the first guy super sweet he started dating a girl through the blaret too like she slid in his dms and was like basically i'm pretty sure she said like if blare doesn't choose you like do you want to go on a date yeah and they're still dating too That, oh, is that crazy? Brought so much love. Wow. That's amazing.
Starting point is 00:25:08 That's so special. Yeah. I, yeah, I don't talk to Blake or, oh, Mark. Oh, the sparky, the sparks dead Mark. That's so crazy, though, because if you think of the Bachelor, Bachelorette real world, how many people have come together through that, whether it's friendships, relationships, marriages, certain things like it brings so many people together and changes lives. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:25:30 You know what? That's the Blarette. I know. We've changed some lives, guys. I will say the only one that I thought I would probably see after and, like, hopefully be friends with both jokes because we have, like, mutual friends. But every time my friends have hung out with him, I've actually been gone visiting Luke. Oh.
Starting point is 00:25:46 So I just haven't. It'll be fine. Yeah. No, I'm not heard at all. Yeah. I mean, I'm like, at the end of the day, we went on like two dates. Yeah, exactly. Hopefully we can both be like.
Starting point is 00:25:55 And you guys were under different circumstances. It's not like you went on two dates and he was like, oh gosh, I didn't know she was dating other people. you guys went on two dates being like this is what's going on it's like a hilarious podcast segment like yeah you know and to be honest like on my last date with jacob the whole time i was like so when do i get to hang out with luke like i just like i knew it was going to be luke that's when you know i just i really wanted i saw jacob as a friend and i like wanted to be his friend like because i don't have many guy friends in national so i think that's why i was so drawn to him
Starting point is 00:26:25 was like oh he'd be such a good guy friend of course i get that i actually said that about um people were, you know, losing their mind on Colton for certain things with falling in love with so many people. I'm like, but to be fair, you're in such a isolated situation that you crave connection with somebody so badly and you know that you're in the mindset for connection that you don't, you can't decipher sometimes like, is this a friendship or a relationship? Do I actually really like this person or am I like, wow, I see them as a friend? And you can fall in love with somebody as a friend. Yeah. Sorry to bust your bubble people, but you can. So for Colton, I'm always like standing up for him one because I've been there and two because I think he's doing such a great
Starting point is 00:27:03 job and I'm like you can fall in love with four people and it could be very to actually love somebody unconditionally is way different but you can fall in love of four different people as friends as humans as relationships it's that's true not not seeing you fell in love with anybody else but just like no no I was going to say I feel the opposite like I feel like to love somebody is like a step below being in love with somebody yeah do you feel like it's the opposite way like you can be in love before you like love them yeah yeah oh you're saying the opposite i feel like you love somebody and then you're in love with them well okay i guess that's how you take it because like for me i'm like i can love this person so much and like care so much about them all this stuff but then to be in love it's
Starting point is 00:27:46 like i don't want to be but i see nobody else i see falling in love differently from being in love and loving someone oh gosh that's a lot of there's so many things because sometimes but sometimes like going back to the chemistry piece because the chemistry is so strong sometimes it goes to being in love yeah because the love piece can also be associated with friends so then it can be that's why i think i've always seen like being in love with someone as deep as more than loving someone because it's like i love you guys yeah yeah but i'm not in love i'm not like kitalin i'm in love yeah i don't tell you that i am but i guess there are actually two very separate things if you actually think about Yeah.
Starting point is 00:28:25 Like I, for me, obviously, I can relate to Colton being in the position of like being confused with loving feelings. Yeah. Because to me, I loved Jared. And he's now engaged to one of my great friends, Ashley. And I still love them both, you know? But I'm like, I love him as my husband. I love him as a boyfriend.
Starting point is 00:28:44 I loved him as a friend. Exactly. And so I get, I get what you're saying. And like you said, when you're, I guess when you're in the position, the Bachelorette, they strip everything from you. You can't even talk to your family. me to your friend. So like you said, you crave that connection with people because you're such a social person. So oh my gosh. Human contact. And the dates on that show are so romantic. Like,
Starting point is 00:29:03 oh yeah. I would think I was in love with multiple people. If like you're doing this most romantic thing and then you kiss them and you're like, oh my gosh. And you're like, you know, you're falling in love and you're in this phase of life and then they're like, do you want to hang out with this person off camera? And I'm like, oh dear God, please like let me have connection with somebody. Like I would love to just sit on the couch with one of my guys no cameras and actually just talk like yeah you know like and then you're meant to feel wrong about certain things but again at the end of the day every situation we're all in right now nobody would ever understand it until you're in i would never understand blair's situation your situation clio you'll never understand mine it's like yeah
Starting point is 00:29:41 it's love and being in love and loving someone it's all probably different to each and every one of us for sure and that's why i hate why people judge everyone so hard on the show because it's like that but that's this is colton's decision this is our decision and if you actually boil down to it not even on the show like so many people judge other people's relationships always oh yeah you know just in general but everyone needs and crave something different that's a great point right um and any uh well actually you guys are doing the distance mm-hmm how are you feeling about that so so far it's way harder than i thought it was going to be like i remember you and do you guys see each other usually so we have until june planned out and it's like every three weekends gosh that's hard that's hard
Starting point is 00:30:26 oh cleo you yeah see that's the thing for us that's good but for katelyn she can just hop on a plane yeah it's like once a week and i'm like darn you i will say i shouldn't be like oh that's insane because we're so like we're so lucky to be able to hop on a plane at all times and any times and we both travel and we can both be like put it in a contract to like no we both want to be here this weekend certain things you know like we're very lucky that way because three weeks is hard and and because how long is a flight a flight's not long it's like an hour and a half because like i know so many people that do the long distance and they see each other every like two or three months yeah no i couldn't do that i used to do that with my um with bret the ex yeah um no like even like two and
Starting point is 00:31:07 a half to three weeks between each time which i just surprised him so that kind of like added another trip yes i wanted to ask you about that i'll tell you about that yeah um but yeah i'm like every three weeks is so like I'm just well which leads he might be coming to Nashville to move so he wants to be a travel nurse and so he has been like doing all the applications and stuff and his first assignment would be in Nashville which potentially would be June okay it has to I'm like I'm like trying not to get my hopes up but also last night I was like apartment hunting for him he knew but I was just I'm just like I'm already I'm already going to in my hopes up if he doesn't come.
Starting point is 00:31:47 Hey, what the heck life? Like universe, the universe works in the most mysterious ways. The fact that you won the contest to come on my podcast that we thought of this idea together to find you a relationship, you knew what you wanted. You knew. Not many girls your age know what they want. You knew and you're very sure of yourself and you've got a good career and you were just in the right position.
Starting point is 00:32:12 I never like just click with random people. like I clicked with you we met all these guys I said I knew Luke was your guy I know and now you guys and now he's your guy and he's considering moving to Nashville are you freaking kidding me he's one it's funny too because a girl actually reached out who's like a travel she's like a senior travel coordinator thing for like travel nursing and she reached out and was kind of like if you ever want to move to Nashville like I'm a travel agent and he was like oh that's actually what I want to do no way so they copped on a phone call again universe I know this is meant to be We had, so the last trip we have planned is like May 18th weekend, and then his lease ends in June. So it just kind of like all made sense. Moli, guacamole. Yeah. Which is super exciting because he did say originally when we talked about living in the same city, he said he thought it would be at least a year because he wanted to give his music, like his new band a chance.
Starting point is 00:33:05 But national is perfect for that. Yeah. Well, but like he started, yeah. But then like after Mountain Weekend. Which shows his commitment. Yeah. After Mountain Weekend, we like had long conversations. and I think he just kind of realized, like, what he wanted when it comes down to it.
Starting point is 00:33:19 That's so true. Mountain Weekend will get you, man. Yeah, it will. That was a big trip for you guys. It was. That's a big trip. And what do you think will change in your relationship when he lives here? See, I feel like I'm just ready to see what, because all day long I can think, like,
Starting point is 00:33:38 yeah, I think he is the person I'm going to marry and spend my life with. But until I, like, really live it, yeah, because I'm like, I don't know what it's like to just go to dinner on a Wednesday night or like go to the gym together. Go grocery shopping. Like that's the things I want. Exactly. Well, what what roadblocks have you run into? Do you guys argue over anything? Like what? What the what? Yeah. We've, we haven't like fought or anything yet, which is good. Super compatible. Whoa. Yeah. It's supposed to be easy and flow. It should be easy. Yeah. Yeah. And I mean, you know what the arguments will happen when you live together and just know that that's normal. Yeah. Oh, for sure. Like the only thing.
Starting point is 00:34:14 he's already that you guys are already going to live in the same city though i know how long has it's been it's been three months as of now so june will be like six what's what is it february march april may june oh that's great yeah and what do you have any tips way sooner than i do you have any tips for people doing long distance out there um i mean you definitely both have to be 100% committed committed and like wanting to face time and talk and like be willing to like spend money to travel and see each other and all that kind of stuff um i'm just so happy for you me too me too oh my gosh you guys you guys the three of us like we're all glowing we're all i'm pretty sure at one point when we first met we were all pretty much single yeah well no i wasn't actually wait when
Starting point is 00:35:03 was this i'm like trying it's actually no that you were you were dating when i was dating when did i oh i was yeah i was definitely in it this was a while ago when i met you were when did i you? August. Oh, in August? Oh, that was a rough time. Yeah. That was a rough time. It might have been July. The roughest time. It was rougher. Oh, even more rough. Okay. Yeah. Oh, that's crazy. Yeah. Wow. Okay. Well, we're going to. And then now look at us. And then now look at us. See, and that's, anybody out there who's going through a hard time, just know that three months can change everything. Literally. You can be the happiest you've ever been. So just keep your head. I always like, like, like thinking about how I was going to meet my person was like okay well I want a good guy so
Starting point is 00:35:48 like I guess I'll have to meet him like at a coffee shop or at church you're like I'm not going to meet him out because I don't want like a party guy like all this stuff and then it's like look how I met yeah yeah that's so true never a million years that I've thought that would be how I meet somebody but you know what I will say something I've noticed recently with especially with like in 30s single my single girlfriends but right off the bat you were so open to it and I think that now nowadays like a lot of people are still close to doing like the online dating or are going on dates but you have to put yourself out there and know what you want yeah and then you attract what you want and you really did i know i just said that already but blare really
Starting point is 00:36:27 knew what she wanted yeah and like you're very lisher of yourself good one see what i did there oh you're very you're very blare lusher of yourself yeah um but you you just to me i was like shocked to find out your age so sometimes because I was like, you just are where you should be in life. And some people aren't. Some people aren't, but you are. And you're ready for that person. And I think some people think they have to be a certain age to meet the person that they want.
Starting point is 00:36:56 Oh, I want to be 25 or I want to be 26. But it all depends on just being ready and knowing what you want in life. And I just think that's why this has worked for you is because you didn't put, you're not like, well, I need to meet this person here. You're just like, well, this is what I want. And I know what I want. Yeah. And I wasn't even looking for it at the time.
Starting point is 00:37:12 Exactly. Like, I wasn't just like, where I need a boyfriend? Like, it just kind of happened. Yeah. And law of attraction. It is. Going back to the bucket list and that's why we're going to do it. But you have to just like know what you want.
Starting point is 00:37:25 And sometimes you just need to like say it or write it because it actually makes it real. Yes. It does. I think so too. For years, they said it could lead to madness. They relegated it to dark rooms and back alleys. They shamed those who grew it. They even did a stop and frisk on anyone they thought might have it.
Starting point is 00:37:41 but now a completely new era has begun because of it. The new normal is here. Millions have already witnessed a rival, have you? Brought to life in a short film that runs only 120 seconds long, a new normal seeks to leave behind 80 years of unjust prohibition in favor of a safer, happier world. It depicts a product that once drove good people to the black market as one that today is creating a new global market. In this new era, a plant that was tied to fear and madness now represents a source of calm and wellness. From this day forward, what inspired the symbol of counterculture is, at long last, just culture.
Starting point is 00:38:16 The new normal has arrived to your city, to your neighborhood, to the inside of your living room. Watch it now. Experience the new normal at medmen.com. That's MEDMEN.com. Did you see the video when I surprised him? no oh my gosh let me show you okay show me because we had talked about this before but I didn't
Starting point is 00:39:16 see do you saw my phone from the bucket list oh it's on my lap um yeah because you told me you're gonna surprise him yeah but no I didn't see the video and if other people want to see it it's on my Instagram highlights yes oh my god show me everything when was this thing ever did he this past weekend hey I need to hear the story about how you guys said I love you too or is that like personal I mean I can tell you okay great um I'll tell you after this and all All the Binoes. Yeah. All the, we're family, though.
Starting point is 00:39:44 Yeah. So he had literally no idea. He thought, I told him I was going to Atlanta for a baby shower for the weekend just to kind of like throw him off. Yeah. Because he was supposed to have a show Saturday night. But then like a week ago, it got canceled. And I was like, well, I already booked a flight. Like, I'm just going to go.
Starting point is 00:40:00 Yeah. And so he, like, thought he was just going to have a chill weekend, like, all this stuff. So he was clueless. And I was even texting in, like, the morning before. And I was like, hey, I was like, hey, I'm, I was like, I'm. I was like, I have a really long meeting. So, like, I'll text you after, which was actually my flight. Because I was like, what if he tries to text me?
Starting point is 00:40:16 And it, like, doesn't deliver. Like, is he going to do anything? You don't get the airplane Wi-Fi? I'm too broke for that, Kail. That's what I have T-Mobile and they get free, uh, free Wi-Fi on Delta flights. So, oh. Sorry, I forget some of these people don't do that. Well, I don't even fly Delta.
Starting point is 00:40:31 I fly, like, frontier because it's so cheap. Girlfriend only flies Delta over here. Oh, yeah. It's a thing. Anyways. Um, so anyways, this is, this is the video. I'm going to die. Okay, so I went to his hospital, so he's about to walk in.
Starting point is 00:40:46 Oh, my gosh. In his cute little scrubs. And he has no idea that you're here. Oh, yeah, he's so surprised. You're done at three today. Look at his face. Oh. And he's so happy.
Starting point is 00:41:06 He, his mouth did not shut for like 30 minutes. He was like, I can't believe you're here. like can i post that on um off the vine yeah okay that is the cutest thing i've ever seen yeah you can just okay that's when you like you know what that's really sweet because you can just see love in his eyes and i mean that yeah he lit his jaw drop and he was the most excited person in the world to see you you're just so you guys are so cute and this is crazy so then Saturday the next day his family came and surprised him he we had like play it because we were all going to go to a show wait had you met them before yeah i met them and so then the next morning we like were going to brunch
Starting point is 00:41:45 and then they walked out and surprised him and so it was just like a week and full surprises it was so amazing oh oh okay and then how fun is it to surprise someone oh it was the i was like i'm such a good liar i love this but it was like for a good cause yeah of course it's fine you were going to go to seattle you should just that's true i should have damn it you can still do it no i love a good surprise I love a good surprise. Same. Nobody ever surprises me. My mom did one time and it was like everything.
Starting point is 00:42:15 I broke down. But I lived in Newfoundland with the ex, the same person that lived in Germany. Yep. And he, we were, um, so Newfoundland is so, um, east coast of, it's the furthest east you can go in Canada. And it, we got snowed in so many times and he would go on road trips for hockey and, um, even the girls, even the girls that I was friends with, we couldn't even get to one another. because of the snow.
Starting point is 00:42:40 It was insane. I've never seen anything like that. And they, because they were so far east, they'd go on these road trips that they would be gone for two weeks at a time. And I went so stir crazy. I didn't work. I couldn't even walk or get to the gym. We didn't have a car.
Starting point is 00:42:56 I was snowed in. My place was 100% haunted. The, like, TV didn't work sometimes. The couch wasn't very big. It was a very small, like, everything, I was just, like, going nuts. and I missed my family so much and my mom was just like yeah Rob and I are going
Starting point is 00:43:14 they were going to Italy and that's actually kind of close to Newfoundland because of how far east it is. And so she was like our flight got delayed like do you want to text for a while? I know you're lonely and I was like oh I just miss family and friends like this is so hard for me because it was the first time I moved away from Vancouver
Starting point is 00:43:32 after making all my closest friends and being closer to family and I was like I can't handle this like I don't know what to do I'm so lonely and my mom goes well I sent you a bottle of wine from Italy it should be at your door blah blah blah and then the doorbell rang and I was like oh my god I think the wine's here and you don't have any I was excited to see a FedEx man because I was so lonely like I maybe he'll stay and have a glass of wine I was like oh my god I'm going to have a like a conversation with a human being and so I was like oh my god the doorbell rang and I stayed on the phone and I like open the door and her and Rob were standing there and they were recording this is the best video yeah I have to actually post that on off the vine it's post the two videos it's the best thing in the world because I literally get people to submit the videos when they surprise someone like a really good surprise wait that's such a good idea because everyone loves those I want to see those who doesn't love a good surprise video yeah you can
Starting point is 00:44:29 share I I I looked at my mom and I just backed up and I she was like hug me and I just backed up like in disbelief and I was like you know and I just dropped and started crying and then I looked up at her and she's such a neat freak and I said my place is a mess that's what that's true because when I got to luke's apartment I was like I was like you did it clean for me and he was like uh-huh but it really wasn't messy like compared to my room I was like you can never surprise me because you will never think I can be a housewife hey screw it you know you got to just own who you are if you're a messy little slub but i'm not mess i just have clothes every like i go out of town and then i don't put my clothes away i just like unpack on the floor and then pack it again see i in and that will change
Starting point is 00:45:15 with age because in my old age of 33 i literally can't go to sleep unless you're in your you're in spotless oh my i used to be disgusting more than anyone i know i think i really i change every year for the better yeah if i do say so much i'm a fine wine a fine wine a fine wine yeah fine no but it's true like it's crazy like you're you're actually a neat freak now no but you should surprise jason like what not the next time you see him jason i hope you're not listening to this podcast well he won't know when it is no i know now he would be so happy you guys he's just the he's one of a kind oh he would be that you wouldn't make his he'd cry do it please do it and film it oh okay yeah you have to film it and then post it as well on the vine page he's the best okay i'm gonna play a game
Starting point is 00:46:01 with you, Blair, before we exit this. Gosh. Oh, okay. We're still doing okay for time. I love having fun on podcasts. I have a dream job. I love podcasting. But you also are meant to do this. Well, we're going to play a game called Favorite Thing Luke Addiction. Wow. Luke Addiction. Well, there's that. But Favorite Thing Luke Edition. Okay. Oh, gosh. You know, like, what's your favorite thing? Well, Brandy and Wells have a podcast called What's Your Favorite Thing? They just, that all wow nice plug for you guys you're welcome yeah favorite things but this is favorite thing lucid it addition why can't i say it addition words are hard you've had scotch words are harm uh favorite gift he's ever given you probably valentine's day big tape me no that was christmas oh
Starting point is 00:46:49 that was like a happy like oh my gosh this is so sweet like and so fun but valentine's day was like super romantic and sweet yeah so he gave me he like wrote a poem and then he gave me a message in a bottle. Nope. Jason and Adam need to step up the room. Wow, I thought Jason and Adam were romantic, but now I'm like, Luke for the window. I think Luke and Jason are pretty similar.
Starting point is 00:47:14 Like what you've talked about. Isn't that so cute? Yeah, and it was a little message in the bottom. We loved having the video, the Valentine's video recap. You put that in there, but I think you filmed it before. Yeah, we had filmed it before. I know, that's like in the recap on duet it.
Starting point is 00:47:30 It was like, no, we haven't said, love you like no we're not moving for a year and then I'm like yeah so much has changed oh yeah but no but you know what um for people who haven't seen they can see your recap on do on the IGTV and yeah yeah it was it was really cute because you guys can really see you like your authentic and there's a pretty good confession oh I know I laughed out loud so hard we just keep reaching new levels though as you should that's called a relationship I know but they're like things that shouldn't be reached yet and I'm like no no no no the quicker the better. Oh, I know. Now I'm like, great. I'm gonna go poop, bye-bye. Oh, I do that all the time.
Starting point is 00:48:07 Jason was just, I went to like fake open the door and he's like, what are you doing? I was like, tooting. What do you think I'm doing? I'm like, what do you think? I'm just opening the door to see the nice view out there. No, I'm tooting. Is that what you say? Tuting? Tuding, yeah. It sounds cuter, no, we used to say when, yeah, when I was little, we would say popped. Oh, we said, I popped. Pops. Very cute. I said fluff.
Starting point is 00:48:35 Fluff's cute. Fluff? Like I fluffed. Favorite place you guys have been together? Mountains, obviously. Yeah. That was a good trip. Favorite gift you've ever given him?
Starting point is 00:48:47 Favorite gift I've given him. Hmm. Why is... Or is he the only gift giver? No, no. I give him gifts. Mine just aren't as like... Thoughtful?
Starting point is 00:48:57 Well, no. Actually, this was a gift. I surprised him when we were new york with his favorite movie of all time is school of rock so i surprised him with broadway tickets to see it but i wrote it very sweet and i wrote that in like a little poem and then the last line told him we were going you know what you need to do is a key would you keep would you keep all these like um sentimental things like the ticket yeah because the honeymoon phase is freaking where it's at with um like building your relationship and what you do together because
Starting point is 00:49:26 it's literally building the foundation that you're going to grow your love on and long distance is money for that because you get to do things that you went you know you're like I'm surprised him we're going to do this we're going to make the best of the time we have we're going to spend quality time yeah and it literally builds the best foundation for your relationship I think so too I'll tell you what's not a good foundation the bachelor I go on I was just going to say and then too like when you finally do live in the same city like it's like a whole different kind of relationship and then you enjoy the little things like you're like so true we get to go to the grocery store together no it's so true it's a deeper
Starting point is 00:50:01 more more um not relaxed just just a deeper it's just like everyday life yeah yeah oh my gosh that honeymoon phase when it's so new and exciting it's prolonged and then that i think carries you through totally and like you said because then you get excited to go with a grocery store yeah and then you just build on everything you know yeah i love that guys eat carbs dine out drink alcohol Work out less. Starting point is 00:52:21 I mean we don't do a ton of day-to-day activities yeah that was a stupid question favorite part about being in a long-distance relationship probably the missing each other and doing the quality things yeah just like when I do get to be like yeah every weekend with him is like so fun favorite food you eat together oh he makes the well it's like uh traitor joes but he makes the um he makes like stir fry it's like fried rice with vegetables and then orange chicken oh it's so good that sounds freaking incredible yeah uh he likes to cook which is a plus wow do you do you like to cook i like to cook with other people not by myself but it's like if we're like oh let's cook tonight i'm like oh yeah that sounds fun see and i love oh clito's taking a picture i got fixed my hair um i love cooking it's like one of my favorite things even if it's by myself or with somebody i'm like cooking oh my gosh glass wine cooking yep time yeah uh this is a this is a mean question oh god favorite family member of his um honestly i love them all i feel like me and his sister are definitely the closest like we actually like
Starting point is 00:53:34 text pretty frequently that's cute but like his mom hysterical really she i'll have to after the oh oh my god i love cleo she's taking photos and she just told me to fix my posture and this is why i love her um his i'll show you a video after but his mom was dancing this weekend to like get low and she was like booty popping it and it was the funniest thing ever no way yeah and then his uncle i met him so you guys are like in like this is okay i don't i'm gonna say it and i'm i'm not jinxing it because i truly believe this but no this is it for you yeah i mean i i could i i could see it and i think it but and obviously he does too do you guys talk about like future yeah i mean obviously if he's thinking about moving yeah i mean we have i know she's like you look large kately you look large and in charge
Starting point is 00:54:29 and you're a little slouching what were we saying you guys talk about it oh talked about the future yeah i mean we obviously like i am always kind of self-conscious about talking too much about the future just because i don't want to like like if anything were to happen like it would just make it that much more heartbreaking like i don't want to constantly be like oh my gosh when we're married right you know like i don't want to you can be excited about that kind of thing and you are and like we've talked like he's asked like if we do get married like would i ever consider traveling with him like if he's a travel nurse and i'm like duh der you love traveling up added to the bucket list yeah and like when he when we had the long conversation about if he was going to try and pursue
Starting point is 00:55:10 pursue music like I kind of ask like what do you what do you picture your future looking like it was kind of like he would be a nurse and then we would like have a family like all this stuff so we've definitely talked about it god I love you guys okay two very you guys like Cleo and I or and you and Jason and you and Adam I just love everyone oh god I love the vinos like I love that video it's like i love my mom i love my house i love my cat have y'all seen that the little girl yes oh yeah yeah yeah yeah that's how i feel right now i just love everyone i love everyone too especially the vinos vinos are my everything oh yeah god they're my everything literally they're the sweetest i don't think there's a group of women out there in the whole world like the vinos no they're special
Starting point is 00:55:58 and i'm not just saying that people will ask like do you get like me in comments and stuff i have never once gotten a single mean comment, mean DM, nothing. They are all the nicest people ever. Vinoes are the definition of women coming together and empowering others. I'll cry. I can't. I can't. Even your Facebook page.
Starting point is 00:56:16 It's like somebody could post and be like, I'm going through a hard time. Everyone will be there. We're here for you. I'm like, God. We have to plug just because I'm your proud mama. But like, so Caitlin obviously is now going on tour. Boston sold out in 10 minutes. Like that's crazy.
Starting point is 00:56:31 It's a community. it's a family you know we're a family and I and you know what forever grateful it's because of you Caitlin well that's the example so that's the kind of people you draw in empowering women who like sometimes I can't even fathom the power of the good in social media and and yeah and being online you know because sometimes I get all bitter and then I'm like all I need to do is go on the off the vine Facebook group yeah and be like the internet is a beautiful place yeah who could say that whoever goes on the internet and thinks it's a beautiful place except for the vinos oh the vinoes you know the finest well yeah it just goes to show like you
Starting point is 00:57:13 could bring amazing people together and then it just like multiplies and it's awesome it's what life's about them all together it's what life's about true i'm not gonna cry you're crying uh two last hard-hitting questions that are my favorite questions oh gosh i'm nervous the favorite thing he does and the and your favorite thing he says oh man i feel like my answer is very generic but favorite thing he does like oh i just hit my tooth you're nervous no like literally she's blushing yeah when i say like he treats me like a queen like i am not exaggerating yeah i could see that the sweetest like the small things and like the big thing like he is always willing to do anything for me and so it's just like that's my
Starting point is 00:57:59 favorite thing he does is he always just treats me like a queen and like he even says that like when I say that I'm like you treat me like a queen and he'll be like I'll always like that like that's not going to ever stop like you deserve that and I'm just like well you do oh my gosh but that comes from you knowing you do yeah you know what I mean yeah and you know you know settle for somebody that treats me because girls women men guys whatever out there people who don't know their worth settle and then they question how they're treated and then they think they deserve what they're when you know exactly what you want and exactly what you deserve you'll have eye-opening moments where you're in a relationship and you're like I got to get out of this yeah and then that's when you find the most successful relationships whether it's I'm talking career friendships yeah loving relationships family members when you know what you're worth and what you deserve and what you'll stand for that's it'll come to you it'll come to you yeah and you can't just say that and want it you you you you're
Starting point is 00:59:03 have to really believe it and work on it. You're a testament to that. I always say about age and stuff on podcasts and you're, you know, you're younger, but you have so much confidence in, like, what you want and who you are and what you deserve and you've got it. Yeah. You know, sometimes that takes people into their 40s and that's okay. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:59:21 My mom was 60, 60 when she found true, like, no, I shouldn't say true love because her and my dad had a beautiful relationship. But my mom, you know, went through a divorce. my dad went through a divorce and they both found true happiness in a later age oh yeah you can't give up on it you can't ever yeah ever that's my biggest thing like is when i feel like somebody is settling like if it's a friend or something i'm just like do you like do you think you don't deserve better do you think you'll never find that i'm like you just have to trust that you're going to find that because you will and like if you settle in a relationship especially or a career like you said
Starting point is 01:00:00 Like you're never going to be happy. It's always going to want more. It's always what you put out there. If you believe you only deserve down here or if you put it up. Or like a comfortable life with a person. That's what you're going to get. Yeah. I can say that like even I, you know, I've always been a pretty happy person.
Starting point is 01:00:19 I've gone through relationships that were hard. I've gone through ones that were great. I've gone through ones that were bad. I've gone through ones that were challenging. And then all have led me to. 33 and I can say right now at 33 people can judge me for moving on quick or whatever they want to say and they don't know the truth but just know that like this is genuinely the happiest I've ever been and I think it shows and just like I think it shows just you know in my everyday life
Starting point is 01:00:47 but and people can say whatever they want but it's the best feeling in the world to just be genuinely happy and like feel like you actually have what you've wanted yeah and I'm like oh You don't really realize that you weren't happy until you're happy. Yeah. And it's interesting because everyone at the end of the day, what are they doing every day? They're just searching for happiness every day. And you can never apologize or feel guilty for being happy. And you can never judge somebody for how they find happiness.
Starting point is 01:01:15 No. Because that should be everybody's goal in life. It shouldn't be this paycheck. It shouldn't be this house. It shouldn't be this status. It shouldn't be this Instagram. It shouldn't be this. It should be to just genuinely in your heart.
Starting point is 01:01:28 be like wow that's the happiest I've ever been yeah yeah wow well we're so happy that you so happy for you that makes us happy yeah I want to flip the question on you okay what's the what was what oh what's your favorite thing he does and what's your favorite thing he says my favorite thing that he says is every single day that we talk every single day without even if it's like 11 to 59 and the day is about to end he'll call me and go oh my gosh have I told you how beautiful you are today have I told you have you you are every day and he'll go you are the most beautiful beautiful person I've ever laid my eyes on inside and out I just wanted to let you know that
Starting point is 01:02:09 and I'm like whoa that's the sweetest thing it's insane and he does every day and that means so much yeah and not that I need to be told I'm pretty but god damn does it feel good yes every time it's like good night beautiful you're like but he means it you know like yeah and he says inside and out and I know he he will tell me I inspire him like it's i feel very um safe and appreciated with him yeah that's that's the thing it's not like you need to hear those to like feel good about yourself but it's like no him saying that makes you know you're appreciated and like i just feel so safe yeah yeah and then my favorite thing he does i know the favorite my favorite thing that he says oh let's go i'm like and i have come i'm jason i've completely taking that
Starting point is 01:02:54 let's go he's so positive he's he's he's a very happy go happy go lucky when I spoke to his mom she said Caitlin he is just a good kid like he calls me every day he's a happy go lucky person every day yeah he calls his family every day his family talks every day he's a happy go lucky guy he's positive and he means well he really does he's the most stable human I've ever met which is that's probably my favorite thing that he does is just like how he lives his life yeah he lives life to the fullest. He does. He is not holding back. Nope. He, seriously, you like talking about him reminds me so much of Luke. Like, I feel like they're super similar. That's awesome. I can't wait for triple
Starting point is 01:03:39 dates, guys. I'm in. Cleo, come back to Nashville. We'll get the guys to come. Or we could all go somewhere. Cool. We should. We should all take a trip together. Because literally none of the six of us live in the same city. Yeah. So we all need to meet in the middle. Well, we do. But yeah. Just the two of you. We'll pick it some are fun. Okay. Oh my gosh. We'll put it on a bucket list tomorrow if this wasn't the happiest most go luckiest podcast you've ever listened to in clio you got to tell us yours yes and about adam yeah favorite thing he does favorite thing he says um well in terms of says he's not a words of affirmation kind of she's like he doesn't say but he still says cute things but i will say like for for for being a um a guy of not like who it doesn't express
Starting point is 01:04:20 himself through words he says cute things oh yeah absolutely and especially over text i absolutely since day one like our text banter is amazing and I'm yes it has yes weird I'm obsessed with his voice yeah she is I love since day one every time I put him on speaker phone yeah hang up I'm like how much do you love his boy yeah and I'm like yeah it's okay yeah the favorite thing he does and I love this so much about him it's he when there's a group of people he always or not even like he always wants to make sure that everyone's taken care of yes that everyone it's like he'll make the reservation he's just like nurturing people he's so nurturing even I'm always skiing in Vail this weekend and he's like he messaged me two weeks ago and he's like okay he's
Starting point is 01:04:59 like I have you all set up he got me skis and boots and those things like he's that's he's and boots and skis and boots and skis and he is very um not just accommodating but like thoughtful in that way yeah for sure which you say like he's not words but like when he calls you to tell you he got you boots and skis and boots and skis and boots and skis and boots and like I feel it from him and at the end of the day like that's like that's all that matters. And like we're saying like both of our love languages are touch. And so I, as long as I feel it. Wait, what is your love language, Caitlin? Words of affirmation. Oh, it is. What is Jason's? Um, Jason's is. Um, Jason's is. He does. I think he really appreciates, um, acts of
Starting point is 01:05:42 service, which is my best way of showing. Yeah. So that's really, and his best way of showing is words. Okay. That's good then. Well, that's why it's such a good match. Yeah. It is. We're a big difference. And words of affirmation, I feel like are very important when you're long. distance yeah oh so true oh my gosh physical touch like when me and luke are together it's like we're so physical touch but then like when we're away like you can't do that so you have to be like affirming with your words and you can still do acts of service from a distance yeah and you can do words from a distance so i think that's yeah we're all doing long distance you know what i think everyone if you're going to take anything away from this podcast it's distance is worth it's it's a few things
Starting point is 01:06:20 It's distance makes the heart grow fonder. Love yourself and know what you want. And have you be your first love. And then third is find yourself an Adam adjacent or a Luke. Boom, chakalaka. Can't wait to catch up with you and Luke on another podcast when you guys are here together. He's coming in March. Perfect.
Starting point is 01:06:44 March it is. Thank you so much for being here. Of course. This is so fun. I love Girl Talk. You know how Dax does, like, the podcast where it's like the armchair? No. Oh, no, I haven't seen that.
Starting point is 01:06:56 What? Dax Shepherd has, I can't believe I'm blanking on this. It's like the armchair expert or something because he always sits in his armchair and does podcast. I'm like, this is like the couch, you know, like the, um, what's that show? What about like the big comfy couch? The big comfy couch. Yeah. So inspirational right here. Yeah.
