Southbound 163rd Avenue to eastbound US 60 will be reduced to two left-turn lanes. The westbound US 60 left turn lane to southbound 163rd Avenue will be closed; however, flaggers will be on-site to allow left turns. Westbound US 60 to northbound 163rd Avenue will be reduced to one right-turn lane. These restrictions are to allow for work to prepare for a second eastbound U.S. 60 left turn lane to north 1 163rd Avenue with a dedicated left-turn traffic signal arrow. The protected left-turn signal will be in operation on Wednesday, January 21st. The new turn lane is expected to be open by early February. Drivers should slow down, stay alert, and be prepared to merge with caution when approaching and traveling through all work zones.
