So after a few months of me, you know, I got to the point where my stepmother was fine with me dressing up at her place. She had no issues with it. And, you know, she asked me about my mother and did my mother know? And was I still wearing her stuff? And I said, yes, I was when she wasn't around. I was still trying her stuff on and still, you know, walking around and worrying it. And she said, well, do you want me to tell her? Do you want me to bring it up?

I said, well, I don't know. I don't know how she'll react. Trust me, she'll be fine, leave it with me. And I remember she got up and she walked into another room and she was on the phone for about half an hour. And she came back and she says, there's two things you need to know. One, she already knew.

Or she suspected the same as I did. Okay. And she suspected for many years. So when I told her, she started laughing. She says, oh, so he does it with you as well. I said, yeah. Yeah. And she says the second thing you need to know is she's on her way over here now.

So my mother arrived at my stepmother's half an hour later. And she came in and she says, I've had the talk with my stepmother. Do you think it would be sad for you when she marries him and you are no longer the husband? Or are you happier like in this role in the way that it is? Yeah, it's weird to say And I've had this conversation with other women And some of them can't understand how I'm happy that my wife is living through time with another man Yeah, even happier. I'm asking, are you happier in this day?

Yeah, I am. I'm happier now than what I was 10 years ago Because I've, you know, the things that we do now are probably You know, I have no illusions, I know I'm very low. lucky to have the lifestyle that I do. But, you know, I've always kind of been, well, that's enjoy this. And if that changes, then I'll deal with it and I'll enjoy the next thing and I'll enjoy the next thing. And I think I can see in the future our relationship will move from a husband-wife dynamic to a mistress dynamic and she'll remarry him.

And that is something that they've openly talked about. And that thought for you is that a turn on? Is there any fear about that or is there nothing? No, it's a turn on. Because it's a huge turn on. Yeah. Because I know where I fit into the picture. You know, I'm comfortable.

And that's where you want to fit in. That's where you prefer to be then. You don't want to be him. No, I don't want to be him. I don't want us to live together. Yeah, interesting. For the time, I like the idea that she's going off and fucking other guys. And I love hearing about it.

But I'm comfortable enough in the relationship that we have and the relationship we've had over the last three years whilst this affair has been going on, that yes, it will change because she may no longer be my wife. But I still think we've got enough history there for to, you know, for the sort of continue how, so that we're both happy. Yeah. Do you know what I mean?

Yeah. But, I mean, I might be being naive, you know. You just don't know. Sometimes, like, a marriage certificate might change things. He might feel differently after it. She might. I don't know. I've heard of people, you know, that have said that once they marry someone,

there is a different feeling to it. And she's not married to the guy now. Plus, you know, she's 41. So if she doesn't really want kids, like if she'd want them, she'd have to get on it, like, ASAP, you know? So if she never has kids with him, you're safer. You know what I mean? If she did have kids with him,

might change because she would be so involved with the children and stuff. But considering she doesn't really want children, she has been playing this scenario with you and in this thruple with you and this guy for so long, I don't know what that marriage certificate, you know, most likely it wouldn't change. Why would it? I mean, do you feel like she, as much as she enjoys that relationship with him, do you feel like she needs the relationship with you, too? I think that's sort of, even though our marriages changed significantly over the years, I still think it's probably her safe space, you know? It's where she, it's still home to her here.

Yeah, that's important. Yeah. And she has that, if it all went, you know, if it all went to shit with him, you know, and her job. And, you know, she always has this place. And that won't, that won't change, even if we're not married. right. Yeah, yeah. Okay. I like that. Yeah. Yeah. Okay. Uh-huh. Do you have like a deep friendship is what you're saying, regardless of anything? Absolutely. Yeah. Yeah. And a closeness. I mean, you know her and all of her stuff. Her finding him, falling in love with him, moving in with him. Those are all the scary times where, oh, yeah, maybe she would have changed. But she's done all that. And she changed in far, but she still comes to see you. Yeah, I suppose it might be about a year ago, you know, we did start looking at the divorce and we did start going down that route, actually. And what was the divorce going to look like? Was it just a paper so she could get married?

was it a divorce and I don't want to see you anymore? No, no, no. It was a bit of paper so she can remarry. That was simply all it was. Did she say, but I still want to come and see you on the weekend? Oh, yeah. Yeah, 100%. So, and we did start going down that road, and we had lawyers involved,

and we had some paperwork. Why did it stop? She was planning a wedding, and then a few family things in his life happened, and it sort of could push back a little bit. And then, yeah, it's been put on the back burner for the time being, you know, to the point where she had actually went and looked at wedding dresses and I had come with her, you know. Yeah, you like her best.

Yeah, you like her best. And, yeah, you know, she talked about, you know, if she was, you know, when she remarries, I'll be her bridesmaid and we looked at lingerie for us both to wear.
