to cheating like what's the short story all of the above when he first got when i first got together was really rough and i cheated all right now that we're getting you cheated okay and then it then you opened up eventually eventually okay and that's where you're at now and it's good yes right now we're great we're the best we've ever been in our lives all right but let's go all the way back how long you I've been together? 26 years. Okay. And how long in did things get, like did the cheating occur?

Would that be like the first thing that we should start at? That started. Yeah, I was terrible. I'm not going to lie. I was kind of. Well, listen, I love getting into the head of a cheater. You know what I mean? It's always super, I mean, it's funny, but it's super helpful.

Especially because are you a cheater now? No. Okay. So once a cheater, always a cheater is definitely not a true statement. Okay. People think that that's true. and that's not. I've talked to many people who have cheated.

I know a lot of people that do cheat a lot, but I can't do it anymore. I just don't have it in me. I have a conscience now, and I just don't want to hurt anybody, right? And the lies get to be too much. I know. One lie turns to 80 lies.

It's too much. It's too much. It's your living. Yeah, for what? And now you live in open marriage, so, I mean, you don't need to cheat. Imagine the people that have open marriage and cheat still. That's the people.

I'm like, I can't, my mind doesn't even understand. But let's go back to, now were you just somebody because there's like many different variations of cheating you know you can't put all cheaters in the same category you know some guys are just like everything could be completely and this is much rarer i think personally that you know then the guy that's cheating at home because he hasn't gotten late and he hasn't you know he's not getting attention and him and his wife have drifted apart and like things are really bad or kids have like fucked up the relationship you know that's like one cheater and then there's just some guy that like you know and this is the rarer one the guys that are just cheating because they like variety and everything could be perfect and at home. You know what I mean? It's just because they need, you know, new pussy or to fill their ego or whatever, but everything's completely fine. Who were you? The second one. So I would just cheat for different reasons. Yeah, I would just cheat. If a girl would show me any kind of attention, I was going to do her. Yeah, don't you think that comes from like an insecurity within you? Absolutely. Yeah, yeah, I've seen that a lot. Yeah. I think it also, now I've gotten older,

looking back too. It's definitely insecurity, but also, for me anyways, looking back, my whole family was cheaters. My friends that I was hanging out with the same way. So I kind of think that, you know, hanging out with that, you're kind of like seeing that.

You think it's all okay and I didn't have a conscience, but... What do you mean your whole family was cheaters? So I've seen my sister do it. I've seen my mom cheat. I've seen my dad cheat. You're kidding. No, sorry to God. Growing up, like this was just with like there was fighting going on all the time and it was because people were caught cheating?

I mean, how do you know that your mom cheated? Your dad cheated? So my, oh, because my mom and dad were divorced when I was six. And, right, so I'm back and forth. And I always heard stories about my dad, but I also know when my dad got remarried, I caught him fooling around. Oh, God. He told me about it. I see my mom, she had boyfriends growing up, or mainly one boyfriend.

I know she would cheat on him. Oh my God. That boyfriend cheat on her. Listen, I definitely think that that affects you. You know, these are like key moments when you're really being formed and, you know, developing as a person. So I think to see all that cheating around you and those kinds of patterns definitely imprint in you for sure. Yeah. And set you up.

My friends would do the same thing. Yeah. Their wives and girlfriends. And it's just like, oh, okay, whatever. Yeah, and that's really hard for like a little kid to kind of internalize. Like, what do you like, what do you? like what do you do with that at six years old, seven years old, eight years old? You know what I mean? This was happening all through your childhood. It's like really hard to take on and sort of

make sense of it because cheating is very nuanced. You know what I mean? You're not getting both sides of it and stuff. You're just seeing the actions, you know, so you know, why wouldn't you then think it's the norm, right? It's just happening all over. Right. It's sad, but true. So were you always cheating on girlfriends and everyone since the get-go? Pretty early on. My first girlfriend that took my virginity. I didn't cheat on. She cheated on me though. Okay. That also sets you up sometimes to be like, you know, that'll give you some insecurity and trust issues and sometimes, you know, people could act out because of that. Oh yeah. So then like, I don't know, I'll say after I graduated and had some girlfriends. It just seemed like, yeah, I would, I mean, I had some great women that I should have probably stuck around with me relationships with, but I just kept cheating. Well, that's, most of the time, people like, and I think it's like it blows women. mind sometimes because a lot of times, you know, guys are cheating down, right? Like in the woman's like, what the heck? Like, I don't understand. You know, I look so much better than her or whatever.

You know, a lot of times. Because most of the time it's not about the woman at home. Sometimes it is about like the treatment and stuff. You know what I mean? But in your case, since it wasn't, like, it had nothing to do with your wife. This is all about you and your issues, right? It wasn't a reflection on the women that you were with. It's pure, like you said, it's insecurity, right? Yeah. You know, it's just that extra attention. Like, oh, man, this is awesome. Yeah, but also maybe what you just thought was the norm on even maybe not a conscious level, but, you know, because it was just so imprinted on you too, right? Right, that too. Yeah.

So you meet your wife, right? And you get married. Now, are you cheating on her even before you guys get married? Yes. Okay. And let me ask you this because sometimes I said this on a recent episode. Like there are these guys out there that are just so obviously like players that you know, you know, and we all know that guy and we all know the person that's married to them and we all. think to ourselves secretly.

Like, how does she not, does she not fucking know? Like, everybody knows. So obvious, you know. But then there's plenty of people that are probably doing it and nobody would know. Like, are you like an obvious player cheater? Are you like a guy that, like, no one would ever guess that you do this? Oh, I don't really know. Maybe back in the day, people would assume so.

Okay. Back then, like when we first got a reputation. Yeah. A little bit. Yeah. Okay, but your wife never suspected, never knew, never caught you? No, she knew. She's caught me a few times.

Wait, did she catch you even before she married you? Yes. Okay, so she was with a guy that was so obviously not faithful, but she was able to turn the other head? I mean, you know, she caught you many times? A few times. So what happened was, is like when we got together, I just got an out of relationship. She did too. she ended up pregnant right away,

like within the first few months of us dating. We all moved in together. So at that time, I was also still kind of, you know, not ready to settle down. So I was cheating. She called me a couple times. We broke up, got back together. Broke up, got back together.

The other one, we both enjoyed each other. We just, I just wasn't. completely ready to settle down. So we both kind of wanted to make it work not only for us, but for our son, our only son. I'm not, you know what I mean? And her and I have such a routine oriented life that, you know, I go to work, I come home. I go to work, I come home. She's going to know any time. I'm up to no good now. Like I can't sneak it in like she's smucking in with me because I don't have the time that she has. No, but does she want you to do it for her? Yeah, she wants me to.

I mean, it would be. Yeah. So what is the reason why you have it done because you feel like you're too old? I just don't have the opportunities like I used to, right?

I am, you know, I'm 50 this year. I'll be 50 in a couple weeks. And I just, I don't know. I just don't. But there's nobody from your past, all those girls that you, like, you know how she hit up someone from her past? Maybe, maybe. I've kind of sent some messages out to try. Oh, okay.

So you have tried that angle because that's a smart angle. Yeah, one or two. One or two, but it's not, you know, most of them are married. or something and I just I'm afraid to kind of go down that road again. Get it, I got it. But does she like pushing you to do it? She's just giving me an open book. I'll ask if you will.

Yeah. To do it. And one time I get an hour lunch and I usually leave for lunch and go do my thing. And I forget how I did it. But I sent her a message on Snapchat or whatever and kind of said that I was full around or having some fun. I can't remember. I don't know exactly what it was.

And she was set back by it. She was turned on. Same thing, right? Like you get an angst turned on, but jealous at the same time because she didn't know. And then I didn't tell her I was joking. She was a little bit let down. Were you just feeling her out or were you just joking?

Yeah, just feeling her out, just kind of seeing how it, you know, see what would happen. Because all I want to do is have her turned on. That's my biggest thing is having her turn on. So if I could do that and have her turned on, I'm the happiest guy in the world.

Mm-hmm. So one day, not too long ago, this is probably a month ago. I don't know how it got started, but we're home. Kids are all gone. They're all moved out of the house. It really is.

She's not against it is what you're saying. It's more so just getting it started. That's good. So she'll listen, she'll get there. Yeah, but she'll get there. There's nothing to be nervous about. She's going to feel so bad that she's going to fucking be running for them. Okay, soon.
