Hey, Nav, look, we keep it so ATL every time we go somewhere.
We had to come all the way to L, all the way to L.
just to run into some more folks from Atlanta that we could have saw at home we could have
caught home but it feel better when you're out of town and you connect with Atlanta so you know
we got to reach out to everybody from Atlanta and it's it only makes sense yeah so look man we got
one of the hottest up and coming out of the east side of Atlanta right now the beautiful
Jayland thank you hi y'all hey how you doing hey did he say your name I said the beautiful
with Jalen. Oh. You gotta say
the whole thing. You gotta say the whole thing.
I feel like we on first name
basis, my way. Oh, you're. Stop getting so
cool, yeah. She said it was
Speed, dang, God. He's done
the investigation. I've been trying to figure out he can
read all day. I don't know if he could read
words on the paper. That's why I was
trying to see. Everyone tuning in, we have the beautiful
Jalen Jones with us. That's not it.
He don't know how to read. I knew
it. You busted.
You busted. It's Joseph.
I knew it. Jalen, Josie.
Yeah, we got it.
We got this.
How are you doing?
Hi, how you doing?
Welcome to the 85 shop.
We have the beautiful Jalen Josie with us today.
It's nice to meet you, hey.
How are you doing?
I'm well and you.
Catch us up.
Let us know exactly what you've been up to and for the people who may not know.
Well, I've been working real hard.
I've been working with Tricky Stewart.
He's the executive producer of my album.
It's entitled Seri Romantic.
It'll be coming out at the end of the summer, so the beginning of August.
Okay.
And, yeah, I've just been trying to grind.
doing all, you know, content, stuff that we're supposed to be doing as artists.
Yeah, well, for sure.
And yeah, and now I'm here with y'all.
So listen, what was your introduction to the music?
How did you get started?
How did this journey start for you? Where did it all begin?
Well, it's crazy. My mama worked for Social Deaf,
and so she would say that at the album listening party,
she would be pregnant, and she would be by the speakers,
and she would feel the music through her tummy.
So even though I don't know, didn't know that experience,
I feel like that's where it started.
Is this the first BET Awards?
awards?
Won't be the last, though.
It definitely won't be the last.
What are you looking forward to this weekend?
Is it somebody you want to see?
Is it somebody you might want to run into, take a picture with?
What's your moment that you're waiting for?
My motive is really just opportunity.
I want to connect with whoever is willing to connect with me.
I want a network.
And I feel like however the steps unfold, that's how it is.
I'm going to keep working and grinding regardless.
But, you know, that's really what I want to do.
this week. I just want to be
present.
Be present. Because it's going
it's like who knows. I mean
of course you know God fearing that
it's going to happen again but
never know when the next time I'm going to be able to experience
like. Have you met somebody already that you was like
just walked through the door? No.
All right. Now look
we came up with our own segment
for the 2025
BET
Awards and it's called
What the fuck you got on?
And you just let us know
what you got on and you and you
do it that Atlanta way. Do it that Atlanta way.
Pop up your shit, man. Let them know what you got
on. From the nails to everything.
Okay, well I got
the nail salon
and
I got a dress that I got
in New York probably like five years ago
on. You still can fit it? Man, shout out of that.
Father Grace of God
I got some
of my mama's jury on.
Okay.
Oh, oh, this is the one right here.
Okay.
This is a family heirloom.
Okay.
I got my cross on my neck.
That's what I got on right now.
And some, oh, I got this nice perfume on.
It's by my friend Robbie.
It's all of me.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Yeah.
So that's what I got on.
Hey, we definitely appreciate you stopping through.
Thank you for the opportunity.
I'm talking about a little shit with us.
