The 2026 NFL draft is here,
and the NFL Daily podcast has it covered from all angles.
Join me, Greg Rosenthal,
and Jordan Roderig after night one on Thursday.
Nick Shook joins me night two Friday and then Sunday
to recap everything that went down over the three days in Pittsburgh.
We'll tell you who won the draft and which players were my favorite picks.
Listen to NFL Daily with Greg Rosenthal on the free.

A win is a win. A win is a win. I don't care what you're saying.
Yep, that's me, Cliver Taylor the 4th. You might have seen the skits, my basketball and college
football journey, or my career in sports media. Well, now I'm bringing all of that excitement
to my brand new podcast, The Cliver Show. This is a place for raw, unfills of conversations
with athletes, creators, and voices that not only deserve to be heard, but celebrated. So let's
get to it.
Listen to the Clifford show on the IHeard Radio app,
Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast.
And for more behind the scenes,
follow at Clifford and at TikTok podcast network on TikTok.
On paper, the three hosts of the Nick Dick and Poll show are geniuses.
We can explain how AI works, data centers,
but there are certain things that we don't necessarily understand.
Better version of Play Stupid Games, Win Stupid Prizes.
Yes.
Which, by the way, wasn't Taylor Swift, who said that for the first time.
I actually, I thought it was.
I got that wrong.
But hey, no one's perfect.
We're pretty close, though.
Listen to the Nick, Dick, and Paul show
on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts,
or wherever you get your podcasts.
Are you guys?
Instrumental or the ones where you sing sports?
I'm torn.
Personally, I like when we sing it.
The whole thing.
The whole thing.
I know, but some days I'm just not in the mood.
Like today, I'm gonna find, I'm in a good mood.
Well, then let's do it.
Well, hold, wait, I'd like to say a few things.
First, before we get started with the show.
We're in a transition period right now.
It's kind of podcast purgatory for us.
because we're not officially under contract yet yet.
Hmm.
Because our contract with Draft Kings for season three starts in August.
Correct.
Okay.
We don't even have a new logo yet.
And every season we debut a new logo as well.
So we're kind of in that, you know, new summer show that's just filling in for a canceled show back in the day.
So what we need to determine is, one, we've got to get a new,
logo, same basis.
Get a new logo.
Two, do we want to sing it every single time?
Are we just doing it now?
Eddie, that's a lot.
I think it's too much because like you said, you're just not in the mood today.
Some days, we're not in the mood.
But some days, I don't have to sing it.
Some days it can maybe just be Eddie solo.
Oh, gosh.
Some days it can just be me solo.
Some days it can just be read or a group.
But then we're losing that wonderful Brandon Ray voice.
Yeah, he has a beautiful voice.
Maybe it's the first episode of the week.
If we do one, we play Brandon.
If we do two, we see.
sing it. That type of thing. It's a lot
stuff to determine. Because we're
kind of in that weird spot. So, what we'll
do this time is, Eddie, what would you like to do?
I want to sing it. I want to sing it today. You in a good
mood? It's never about
the good mood. It's how tired I am.
Oh, and we're tired. Because I'm going to tell you.
Let's just play the dang song.
We're singing it all, right?
Yes. Katie,
your objective
shall you accept it over the next
week is to learn the words of this song so you can sing it
with us. Oh, definitely. I'll get on.
Can you sing?
No, but I was in theater, so.
So a little bit?
No.
No, okay.
Yeah.
All right, Mikey hit it.
Let's go.
This is a podcast called 25 whistles talking sports.
And we all wear a whistle.
Yeah, it's stupid.
But what did you expect?
It's a podcast called 25 whistles.
25 whistles.
Thank you.
A little background, Katie.
I'm on the show.
Katie is our, I have a couple things here.
Katie, too. The background is
when we agreed to do this show at first,
we only agreed to do one season, 25 episodes.
That's it. And it was,
we're just going to blow a whistle to end of each show to say the show's over.
So we're like, let's just call it 25 whistles and
retire into the sunset. And much
like George Strait, when he rode away, we rode back.
A lot of times. Yeah, a lot of times. So this is,
we're about to get into season three because
the show has done
really well, surprisingly well.
And we have now done, I don't know,
a lot of whistling. A lot.
150 times probably.
Gosh, it's a podcast called 150 whistles.
But, so that's...
I was wondering about the background of it.
Yeah, a lot of people, very confusing.
It was really for 25 shows, and that was it.
It's all I felt like we had the capacity to do.
And the press conference we did, the Pedro from the, what is it,
do you want to...
A Paso times, I think.
He asked that question.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
The stupid name.
So it's stupid name, but that's our song,
and our song's very easy to remember.
This is a podcast called 25 whistles.
We're talking, and we usually have a...
football, but it's kind of a weird time now.
But we go sports, and we all wear a whistle,
because we used to all wear whistles, now we forget sometimes.
And then we go, yeah, it's stupid, but what did you expect?
It's a podcast called 25 whistles.
Boom.
And here's the version with Brandon.
Mike, would you play the other version?
Yeah.
It makes sense now, right?
It does.
That silence is weird, man.
Only in that time. Usually it says football.
No, I know, but it's...
We have a...
Oh, you think it says...
It sounds like it's a podcast and they talk.
Mike, could you beep it?
Oh, that'd be fun.
We're talking beep!
And they all...
Uh-huh.
Oh, yeah.
That's right.
I like to say this.
And this is nobody's fault.
But I feel like, Katie, they gave you a bad description on the last show.
You think so?
I do because Katie is not an intern.
Katie's a freelance worker.
Who did that?
Who described the show in the description?
That was me.
Oh, Reed?
Yeah, it reads pointing hard.
People go at me quickly.
They do.
I have a theory.
Well, hold.
I would like to say, Katie is a.
she is skilled and she is paid
and who knows
she may stay forever
but she's got to go back to school
she's not an intern.
So first of all I like to hear an apology.
I mean school's always there
I don't need to
I'm in no hurry
but I like to hear an apology
I apologize Katie for
mislabeling
Miss
yeah mislabeling your role here
and guess who's on the show
5 foot seven kick off Kevin
but that piss you off?
Not up in here nope
because you're not 5 foot 7
Nope
that'd be awesome
yeah so you're
Now, it's up to her to accept the apology.
Do you accept my apology?
If you give me a cool hat or two, I'll accept.
Hey.
Okay, well, you're off the show till then.
All right, guys, I'm out here.
Okay, Eddie, we're going to say something?
Yeah, I have a theory.
Go ahead.
No, I have a theory.
I think that Kevin maybe did that on purpose because he's maybe...
Jealous?
He feels a little, yeah.
Intimidated?
By Katie.
Because she has a job in sports.
Correct.
He does too.
Yeah.
Maybe did it on purpose.
Well, there we are.
There we are.
A lot of BS starts the show.
That we're starting it, huh?
Yeah.
Okay.
Five foot seven.
All right, Katie.
I got a lot of stuff to talk about.
I want to talk first.
I did watch a lot of the game last night, but I had to watch probably three quarters of the basketball game on silent because I was working at the Grand Alopry.
They're last night performing.
On your phone?
Yes.
So I watch it on silence on my phone for the most part.
And I did get home in time to watch all of the end of the fourth quarter.
Holy crap.
First of all the Pacers had it.
Page's had it.
They had three.
All they had do, get the ball head, get fouled, game over.
Okay, so they didn't.
Brown's got nuts, like massive walnuts.
Hit that three.
Hit the three.
Everything went right to get into overtime,
and you just knew when it went to overtime.
It's trouble.
That Celtics were going to win it.
However, the Pacers showed up.
And until that Drew Holiday stop in the corner,
I thought that Pacers may still win the freaking.
thing. Drew Holliday put, he just took the ball from Halberne.
When Halliburne was stepped out of bounds? That's it. Over in the corner. He literally just like,
it was just defense. Boddied them up and said you were going out of bounds. And like, no crazy
foul that they didn't call because it's overtime, just straight up good D. So that happens. And
I'm like, well, I guess it's over. Then, see, Alchem goes down. They take, they take the,
ball, he misses the shot, whatever happened there. Jalen stole it from him too. So straight up,
no foul. Maybe a little, but you don't, that's not a real one. Yeah. Okay. So I'm like, well,
Look at this, the Celtics have won it.
However, there's a twist.
The Celtics make a bonehead play.
And that foul, was it Tatum?
When he held, did he hold Seacum?
He wrapped up somebody on the free throw line,
going up for the ball on the missed free throw.
So they call a foul.
Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.
If patients get a chance to make it a one possession game,
they make, like, then they screwed it up.
The Celtics tried every way to lose, and they did not lose.
Well, they both did.
But the Celtics, like,
They're not going to lose.
I mean, go back to...
Everything went wrong for the Celtics and they still won.
Sure, but did they were at home?
Donnie Wahlberg was there.
I mean, Dick Poppy, they were feeling it.
I thought, too, in the second quarter that it was...
I thought Celtics were going to crush them.
It was looking like it was all Celtics.
Well, let it start like 12 to zero?
It was all Celtics.
I'd look at it, watch for all Celtics.
I don't even pay attention to it.
And then I saw it getting closer and then I put it back and saw like the whole end of the game.
But the Celtics tried to lose whenever the Pacers just,
just, they were down three.
All they had to do.
All the freaking Pacers had to do
is get the ball in and be fouled.
But do, we really didn't need to go to overtime.
You're an NBA team.
You are elite and you can't throw the ball in?
Like you can't find an op out of five guys.
I hear you.
You can't.
The Celtics tried to lose in every way and still didn't.
But you won.
That's a great win.
When you should lose and win, those are great wins.
Just like they keep saying about the Celtics
where they can't win the close games at the end,
the Pacers did exactly what the Celtics usually do.
and find a way to lose the game.
And Halliburton, their best player,
had two huge turnover.
Huge.
Yeah.
Where there was nothing,
I mean,
one was great defense,
obviously,
but still,
like,
how do you just get bodyed like that
just to go out of bounds?
Oh,
it's just one-on-one-on-one, too.
What the heck was that?
And the other one where he lost the ball
and went to McConnell,
but really went out of bounds.
Yeah.
Both on the sideline right there.
We pumped.
It was awesome.
Oh.
Or was it like roller coaster of sad emotions,
and you're just grateful to get out of there.
It was everything.
Yeah.
Up and down,
up and down.
I finally felt like the playoffs started for the Celtics.
The thing is, though, and I like the Pacers.
I'm a big Pacers guy.
We went out and practiced with the Pacers.
I think we made them better, practicing with them.
For sure.
The Pacers aren't as good as either one of the teams in the West.
But, man, they can shoot.
They don't play defense.
I know.
I agree.
But you have the two highest scoring teams in the league, basically,
with the Celtics and the Pacers,
and they score a bunch.
But at least the Celtics can play defense a little bit.
Drew Holiday, like anybody.
down.
Horford was getting exposed.
They need Porzini.
I know. I know he turns 39.
They've got to have Porzingis.
They need Porzingis.
To play whomever's in the West.
Because even Dallas with Gafford now.
Yeah, they got some big dudes.
They do.
Congratulations.
That's happy for you.
Were you?
Yeah, I was happy for you.
Wait, you guys aren't rooting for the Pacers?
I thought you all be just because we...
I'm rooting for the Pacers.
I'm rooting for the Pacers, but I'm not rooting so hard that I can't find joy for my friend
that the Celtics win.
That's nice.
Yeah.
So I was like, oh, it's fun.
Kevin's probably watching.
I was running for the Pacers.
Funny.
Because I would, here's who I'd like to see win the championship in order.
Start with Minnesota.
Minnesota won.
Because that'd be fun to see Ant immediately be the new face of the league.
He's not the new face of the league yet, but he's now up in the top three faces of the league.
And he's got the opportunity to go into top two and then top one.
If they win it, he's now the guy.
And it's fun to have a guy in a small market be the face of the league.
He's got a great face too.
Okay.
I'm not really attracted to him.
I didn't say he had a hot face.
Now, Rick Fox, that was a good face.
Rick Fox, like, just chiseled the chin was nice.
He had Lakers.
I think he's a good looking dude.
Yeah, yeah.
So I would go, Minnesota at one.
I would go Dallas at two.
Interesting.
Because Luca's the best player left.
I think Ants closing in, but Luca's still the best player left.
He whines all the freaking time.
But he's still awesome.
I'd like to see Luca have a title more than I would.
Tatum.
No offense.
What was that?
No offense.
Tatum.
Is Tatum the dude in Boston?
Oh, yeah.
Not Jalen Brown?
No.
Jalen Brown's going to max contract.
Yeah, but he's not the dude.
Tatum's next.
Not bald white.
If I were just picking, I would go, I like to see.
Minnesota 1, Dallas 2, because
we don't even talk about Ky.
We don't even talk about Kyrie.
Which is good.
Yeah, in a way of he's causing trouble or being an issue.
He's basically just playing the number.
two. He plays defense now, which is wild. Like, Kyrie has been a model citizen and a great player.
And when they need somebody to get to the bucket, get a bucket at the end of the game, who do they go to?
Kyrie. So I go Dallas at two. I would like to see...
Just say it. The Pacers win it at three. Just because that's fun. It's a small market team. It's the Pacers.
Nobody ever really thinks of the Pacers as existing at a level that you're like, oh, we should really focus on how good they are.
and then for Boston.
But I'm not so attached to any one of the teams
that I can't enjoy it for you, my friend.
Okay.
Thank you.
Yeah, you're welcome.
I'll take that.
That's funny.
I didn't even think about Kevin at all last night.
What?
That's all I thought about.
Really?
Yeah.
Wow.
That's nice.
At the opera, you were thinking about me?
I mean, I associate you with Boston,
and I thought it was over, and I was like, oh, Kevin's probably enjoying this game.
But once he got closer, I was like, oh, Kevin's probably like.
Fuckered up.
Right right now.
I was puckered up.
Good game.
Weird game.
Yeah.
Yeah, a weird game
And also
Halliburton just
He just got
He just got outmanned
I know
Is it
He doesn't look tough
I know
But neither does Tatum
Tatum also looks like
A wilty piece of paper
Sure
For the first time though
Tatum did not whine
50 times last night
I think he had that mentality
Where there's like twice
Where he threw his hands up
He had a big three too though
Like he had a clutch three
He had a clutch three
And get what
10 in the
10 in overtime
Yeah
Like people were like
Oh he's not doing anything
All of a sudden he has 36 12 and 8
The 36 is misleading because they're overtime.
But yes.
But when it mattered.
I agree.
Also, Caitlin Clark's awesome.
Anyway, go ahead.
Oh, boy, oh, boy, boy.
Miles Turner, dude.
Who are you taking Jason Tatum or Caitlin Clark 101?
Well, I'm going to take Jason.
I'm talking about it.
Stop that.
Okay.
Good for you.
Thank you.
Caitlin versus Whimby.
Reed walked in and goes, was there a game last night?
Oh, boy.
I thought you wore all those patient stuff.
I started watching the first bit of it and I started working, but I didn't know it went into overtime.
I wish I would watch it.
I mean, that's the headline, man.
I know.
Is it even over?
It's my team.
Are they still playing right now?
Is this cricket?
What's your team?
Pacers, man.
I'm just kidding.
I don't have a team.
Yeah, that's, yeah.
No, I like it.
Yeah, Pacers are awesome.
It's fun.
Katie, do you watch any of the game?
I did not watch the game last night.
No pressure.
No pressure.
You're just an intern, you know?
Yeah, just.
Lowly intern.
Lowly intern.
Okay.
Eddie, do you watch the game?
Any thoughts?
Of course, man.
I watched the game.
I mean, dude, it was a great game.
That's how you start, like, a series.
Go overtime.
I mean, honestly, I thought with the point spread at 10 going into the game,
I thought the Pacers were just going to get murdered.
So they played great.
I think the Pacers, like you said, when they can shoot, when the ball's going in,
they're really good.
But I think when you see them matched up like that,
I already take Celtics just start a game.
I take Celtics and then once Porzzias shows up, it's over, dude.
It's over.
The Celtics must have Porzingas to play with either one of those teams in the West.
Yeah, for sure.
But the good news is supposed to come back after game two, right?
Or maybe game two?
They said game four probably.
You know what?
I wouldn't even bring them back until they lose.
I was what I was going to say.
Depending on what this series looks like, by game four, yeah.
You know what Kevin said?
Before the game started?
He said, I mean, the Celtics could beat them in four.
Like, they probably want to beat them in four.
And I said, well, no, crap.
He's like, yeah, but they'll probably just lose a few here and there.
A few, though.
No, no, no, no, no, no, no.
I think I'm pretty gentlemen sweet, by that.
No, no, no, no, no.
I said they'll probably go six games,
but I wouldn't be surprised if it goes like five.
I didn't say anything about it.
That's a weird way to put it.
Get out of here, dude.
You're just covering all your bases.
You know, it probably goes...
I say six, four.
I think it goes six games.
But I wouldn't be surprised if it's five.
And you know what?
Six, I'd be like, I get it.
And seven, I go, well, I didn't expect it, but I do understand.
He said that they could beat him in four.
And I'm like, well, then why don't they?
He's like, no, I think they'll go six.
Well, what, if you could choose, just beat him in four.
But also, I don't even go in the middle.
He's like, they can beat him in four.
It'll be that or seven.
Wait, what?
You're just making stuff up.
No, you're making.
Katie, see what happens around here?
She's just an intern.
Don't call her.
Let's do the Tittle Taddle.
Go out, Mike.
All right, following the announcement,
the next season will be the final year
of Inside the NBA on T&T,
do you think we're going to lose
the best panel in all of sports?
I think it's the best sports panel.
Even if you're not a big NBA fan,
there are more clips of that show
that go viral just into the pop culture space
than of any of the sports shows.
a panel shows. I mean, because
Barclay, Kenny,
Shaq are hilarious and you got to have
Ernie who's holding it down and
you know, there's a real skill to
direct in that traffic.
Ringling that group. Yeah, it's a big traffic. Ernie's also
funny too, but he also understands
like there are certain times to let certain people
breathe and let them be the star.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
You know, NBA is going to go to ESPN,
NBC, Amazon.
You know,
league's going to make money. Can't hate it.
TNT was just offering, I think, 30 cents on a band-aid to have the league.
That's not very much, no, these days, boys.
No, no, no.
Used to be, though.
Yeah, I would say that's the best panel in all of sports.
Even though the NBA is not my favorite sport, I think I can still say it's the best panel, because they're the funniest.
I'll watch just halftime shows sometime, just for them.
Just if it's on, you'll just stop.
Yeah.
I mean, Shaq has done stuff and Barclay, and Barclay, especially, when he's like talking about women in San Antonio.
Like, stuff just hit.
It just holds.
He doesn't back off.
He doesn't have done that in a while, dude.
No, no, no.
He was recently talking about...
What's that city?
Mike, what's the city?
It's a beach city down there.
Galvison?
Galvison.
Galveston.
Yeah.
He was like, Galveston.
Where's in San Antonio?
And I'd really go to San Antonio.
You know?
So dumb.
He was saying it's not a real beach.
Have you ever been?
Yeah.
I mean, it's dirty.
It's not clean.
That's what he said.
It's dirty.
I got a beach slice there.
Yeah.
And he was talking to Alex
ball
used to play for Lakers plays
the Bulls now
Caruso
yeah Caruso
and Caruso
like yeah I'm in
a good beach
we don't go swimming down there
yeah yeah yeah
see they know
they know
all right next two
all right
no current MVP's
left in the playoffs
if you were starting
team today
with someone remaining
who would it be
great question
I'd go Luca 1
and 2
oh it's a good question
one of my top 5
right now
of the four remaining
because I can't take
Yokic's out
I go Luca 1
he's very young as well
he gets to be on the team forever right
living in two also extremely young
poor zingis never
that's fair
because he'll be broken
yeah sure
I can't take albert
three
I know you want to say Tatum
yeah I'm gonna have to say Tatum
but I don't really want to say
I met Jason Tatum by the way
oh yeah golfing right
or yeah
golf tournament super tall
yeah but not so much
I was like look at the tall guy
they haven't met 610
there's no chance he's 610
610
No
They had Brony at like 6 5 2
And he's 6 1 when they measured him
So I'll go Tatum at 3
Let me do a top 5 here
I mean Gobert
Is defensively the real deal
Was he at 3 defensive player of the years
He also is not bad offensively
People but he's just French
That's probably doesn't smell good
Goberre
Goberte
Kairi probably at 4
Although Kyrie's getting a little older, though.
Is Kyrie 30 now?
31?
Yeah, I think so.
31 maybe.
So I go Kyrie at 4.
One more.
And then probably go Bear at 5.
Because I'm really not taking anybody top 5 off the Pacers.
Celtics, I'm only going to take Tatum in my heart.
Sure.
Honorable mention.
At Dallas, you're just going to take Luca and Kyrie.
Yeah, that's my 5.
Who's your fifth?
I was looking at Kyrie's age.
What's his age?
31.
Yeah, okay.
So Kyrie 4, though, I can probably get another 3 or 4 years out of him.
I'm going to go bear at 5.
Oh, wow.
You think I'll take Brown, Jalen Brown?
Is that what you wanted?
Yeah, I mean, Colbert?
Yeah, Gobert's legit.
Look at his offensive stats, too.
We give him a hard time because it doesn't seem like people like them.
But I like, Gobert, defensive player, you're three times in a row.
Not in a row, but three times, maybe in a row.
I saw Wemby made the all defensive team, first rookie to ever know.
Pretty cool.
Is he that good?
I mean, I didn't see a lot of sports games.
I'm going to be real with you.
I'll be honest, too.
I have the Sunday ticket for basketball.
I call a Sunday ticket.
And even when the games were on, they were so bad.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Or they were down like an ugly number, like 28.
And I'd be like, why am I even going to watch this?
I'm a Spurs fan, man.
I never watch because they just lose every game.
Yeah.
That would be my list there.
Okay.
Yeah.
What else you got?
All right.
Although Luca is the face of the franchise,
do you think he or Kyrie is more important for the Maverick to win the West?
Do you ever watch Luca go off the court?
And it looks like the whole team's like, finally, we get the ball.
You'll see that.
It's kind of like, oh, yeah.
I'll be looking for that.
It's still Luca.
It's his team.
I think Kyrie is an assassin
when they need him,
and he's playing defense.
But Kyrie doesn't need the ball all the time.
It doesn't seem so far.
Because he doesn't have the ball.
Lucas still has the ball most of the time.
I think his usage is still top three in the league,
even with Kyrie on the team.
So I'm going to go Luca at one.
I was looking at the Mavericks are plus 500 to one at all,
but that's third.
But big drop.
drop off between the Mavericks and the Pacers.
Yeah.
Big drop off.
Because Dallas could win the series.
Paisers aren't winning the series.
You think Dallas will win?
A series?
Easy.
I would have said no, but everybody's already assuming
Minnesota wins.
And that's the only reason I'm like,
sure, why not?
Because of people's assumptions?
It's a foregone conclusion that it's like in the NFL,
Eddie, when you're like,
no, this is for sure a game that Cowboys won.
Right, right, right.
That's every year.
They're playing Boise High School,
and it turns out they lose.
So do I think they can?
Yes.
Do I think they will?
Probably not.
If I were going to bet it, I would bet Minnesota.
But that one wouldn't surprise me.
The Pacers winning would surprise me.
Yeah, next one.
All right.
Last one here.
Big concern the last couple of years,
did the Celtics prove to you last night?
They can win close games.
Oh.
They beat the fourth best team of four teams in a game.
They should have lost like three times.
Correct.
But they won?
Yeah.
Barry is a tough game.
It was hard.
It was.
They didn't prove anything to me.
They haven't really played it.
They've had no real struggle this playoffs.
There's no struggle over in the East, really.
It's funny, too, how that changes.
Because six years ago, the East was debuts.
You couldn't even get out of it with Miami or even Cleveland when LeBron was over there.
No, not yet.
But if Porzingis comes back, I give them a four out of ten shot to win the championship if they get to the finals.
But they will not be the favorite, I don't think, against either one of the Western teams.
There's still the favorite.
I don't think, though, playing either one of those teams head-to-head, they'll be
favorite. They're the favorite to win at all of the four teams because those two teams kind of
cancel each other out. Yeah. A bunch of haters, man. No, no, no. I'm rooting for you. A bunch of haters.
We're talking scientific data that I made up. So it's real. Wow. Okay, thank you. That's a
title title. A stupidest name ever. A win is a win. A win. A win is a win. I don't care which I'm saying.
Yep, that's me, Clever Taylor the 4th. You might have seen the skits, the reactions, my journey from

The biggest decisions.
You're going to look at stats and numbers.
He has no shot at making this World Cup team.

that Eddie was asking me, and I feel like he just wants to prove the poserness of anybody on the show
is like, do you know the fight song to your favorite school college team? No, you're a big
Arkansas fan, man. About them on the fight.
I've noticed that because I was two.
Okay, go for it.
Sing it.
You don't want to challenge me on this.
Why would you challenge me?
And I'm not even saying sing the words because a lot of them have words.
I know all the words.
You don't know the words.
Hey, did you know all the words too?
I know part of it.
Oh.
Can I explain myself?
Can I explain myself?
Can I explain myself?
She's at the University of Arkansas.
I got to explain myself.
Okay, so I was one of the COVID freshmen.
So all of that orientation stuff, nixed.
But I didn't learn it in orientation?
I know.
Until I got my doctorate.
You never went there.
Yeah, I was an alumina.
So, I know, I know.
Why did you go to Arkansas?
Like, really.
Why?
Okay.
So I've got family down in elder way to Arkansas.
Way, that's a long way way.
Yeah.
Yeah.
And then, but I know.
And then my parents went to University of Arkansas at Monticello.
Got it.
Also the bowl weevils, long way away.
They were rivals of the what?
The ball weevils.
That's their mascot?
Yeah.
It's like a cicada, just not as annoying.
Really?
They get into cotton and they, you know, tear it up.
Why would you want to be that?
That's original.
It makes people know what the heck's a bowl weevil.
It's on the list.
for like the top however many mascots that are crazy in the United States, it's on the list.
It makes it top ten, I think.
The bow we've been closer to the school.
Closer to it.
Okay.
And then also, I'm from a really small town.
We were under one route from pre-kated 12th grade, and nobody really goes out of state at that school.
Shocker, there's like 12 of us.
But then I just kind of wanted to go somewhere far from home.
Always been close to Arkansas because we've got family there and just wanted to experience living
in a different state.
So it's about five hours from home.
And it was a good area.
I mean, you've been there.
It's kind of a funky town.
Faville's awesome.
Yeah, I love Fayetteville.
It's real pretty.
Yeah.
Lots of time.
Yeah, yeah.
You know it well.
You know, you're a doctor, you know.
Yeah.
My practice is there.
Yeah.
Eddie, you know where she's from?
Yeah, East Texas.
Yeah.
So, Tyler, Longview.
Drive over to the boats.
Yeah, yeah.
Streetport.
Head right through there.
I said, but you don't know the song, huh?
Well, I know, yeah, other stuff.
Oh, I know other stuff, too.
But I know what?
Like the song.
I know a lot of stuff.
I know lots of stuff.
Like, I know what the periodic table is.
I know the shape of a...
So, okay, I will do it for you.
It goes like this.
Hit that line, hit that line, keep on going.
Move that ball right down the field.
Give it cheer.
Never yield.
Never fear.
Arkansas will never yield.
On your toes, raise it back to the finish.
Carry on with all your mind.
For it's A-R-K-N-S-A-S-R-A-S-R-E-S.
Fight, fight, fight.
Wow.
Dude, you're like the Rudy of Arkansas.
all. I've known that song since I was five years old.
So, like Rudy knew all, everything about Notre Dame since
is five years old. And you, and, yeah,
yeah, I feel insulted, you would even think I wouldn't know that.
Well, I would be like me going, are you sure you know what a taco is?
Oh, buddy, I know what a taco is.
I know you do. I know tacos.
Okay, so I know mine. Kevin, you have so many
poser teams. I don't even know what teacher college you like.
I just went with my alumni. Honestly, I didn't even think we had a fight song.
And then we did. I found it on YouTube.
What school?
Humboldt State.
Huh?
Humboldt?
Are they the Bullevels?
Humboldt State.
Lumberjacks.
Okay, but what about
your big Tennessee Vol fan?
Right.
I was told alumni.
I was told my alum.
Do you know any song of any...
No.
Okay.
They all sound the same to me.
Because most of they're played by a marching band.
Sure.
That sounds similar.
But the only thing I think of
is playing NCAA back in the day
and hearing fight songs.
Like Michigan.
I don't know why.
Michigan is...
If I were to think of...
of a fight song, I would think of Michigan first.
Or USC.
Sing that one.
Oh, I don't know it.
What if I do this one?
Name this one.
Okay.
The time, ba, ba, ba, ba, ba, ba, bah, bah, bah, bah, bah, bah, bah, bah, bah, bah, bah, bah, bah, bah, bah. Bha, Bha, Bha, Bha, Bha, Bha, Bha.A.
That's the Minnesota Gofers.
Minnesota State was the team.
Dauber who is his head of Cystico, he's like,
Coach, we are, you know, the big guy?
Fun fact, he's the voice of,
on SpongeBob of Patrick Starr.
Wow.
Yeah, that's a
Da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da.
See, that sounds just like every other one.
It doesn't, though, because Arkansas says,
and Notre Dame's is
Da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da.
Oh, okay, yeah.
Do that da da da da da da da da da da da da da da da da da da da da da da da da da da da da da da da da da da da da da da da da yeah yeah there's a real version
yeah i feel like they stoned that one though i think that's why i think they're all the same that's a storm
this is so sad there's like four people in that bay
i don't do it really was that it really i'm not kidding there's like 10 people were you one of them
No, I wasn't. I was actually conducting them.
This sounds like there's five guys in that marching band.
And they're a little off.
It's like one of them just got his first horn.
Like I said, I didn't even think we had a fight song.
Is that a recorder in there?
Yes.
Eddie?
Oh, I don't know, mine.
Sam Houston State?
No clue.
What do you think it sounds like?
All right, here it is.
It's America.
Pretty regal.
It's very America.
You know, what's his name?
Josh McCown was our quarterback when I went to school there
So I went to a lot of games
We won a lot of games
I never heard that song
I mean I probably did
It just didn't stuck
Reed
Actually the voice of Patrick Star went to my college
Arkansas State
Dober went to Arkansas State
Yeah
If that's his name
It's the voice of Patrick
How about that fun fact is on the top of my fun fact
I didn't even know
That's fun for me to learn
Dang Reed he's waiting for that
Hey if you're wrong
I'm pretty positive
If you're wrong it's gonna be bad
Oh, no, Reed.
We're going to have a lot of fun facts.
He definitely went there.
Really?
For sure, yeah.
It's crazy.
Mike, he's doing some fact-check in here.
I see he went to the University of Idaho.
No.
Oh, no.
No, that's his name, Mike.
It is Bill, I can't say his name.
Fagerbach.
Are you sure that's like same guy?
Patrick Starr.
The voice of Patrick Starr?
What if everyone's wrong?
That's him.
Yeah, no, that's him.
Bill Fagerbock.
Oh, no.
So let's see.
slick as Wikipedia. Just generically go
to it. Read, maybe Spongebob went to your school.
Patrick stars a fictional character in the American
animated television series SpongeBob SquarePants.
He's voiced by actor Bill Foggerbach.
I'd be careful what's saying that.
Close. Close. Sounds dangerous. He's an American actor.
He played
Dobber and coach. He appeared in 12
episodes of How I Met Your Mother.
He is from Fontana, California
where he's born. His education is
University of Idaho where he got his BA.
But he got a master's at Southern Methodist
University.
Oh, no.
They lied to you, Reed.
Read, why did you say that?
You know what?
I lied.
It's Squidward.
Fun fact.
It's Squidward.
Squidward.
I knew it was one of them.
You didn't know anything.
It was Squidward, man.
I mean, that's still kind of crazy Squidward.
No, we can't let him have it.
Don't let him get off.
He stopped it.
He stopped it.
I could have sworn.
That he declared.
Well, I've been telling people wrong.
My whole life.
I graduated.
My whole life.
I thought our fight song mentioned Dobber.
I don't know the fight song, though
Arkansas State?
Who went to like...
I went to like...
I went to like two games.
Will you play Arkansas State fight song?
Hey Mikey, do you have any other famous fight songs?
Do you have Alabama by any chance?
I can find it.
That's okay.
I mean, we'd know them.
Go ahead.
Not the eyes of Texas.
It is.
That's her fight song?
Yeah, right?
No, it's Texas.
fight. Oh. Yeah. See, people
assume certain songs or fight songs because
they're associated. Like, is Rocky Top
the Tennessee fight song? I don't
know that it is because Rocky Top was written by
a couple songwriters in town, and maybe
they have now turned it into their
actual fight song, but I don't know that.
But if you're like, what's the fight song? I'll be like,
Rocky Top Tennessee. But I don't know
what's their official fight song.
Texas fight.
That's good, Mike.
I always thought, I've been working on the
Railroad.
Sounds like it.
Oh, it does sound like
working on the roller?
Yeah.
All the live long day.
That's not Tennessee's.
What isn't?
Tennessee is down the field
is what it's called.
It's not Rocky Talk, yeah.
Why didn't declare it was?
I'm just clarifying.
They should update some of these
because these are really old, right?
You know who went to Tennessee?
Papa Smurf?
Well, you were talking about,
you're not talking about Roger.
Fun fact, the voice of Papa Smurf went to Tennessee.
And one of the care bears.
I'm so mad. I thought it was...
What's that, Ben.
What you think it says?
It gets into it in a second, though.
Here we go.
You ever heard this?
That's Tennessee?
Alabama.
Alabama.
Yeah, I heard that.
Man, you hear that a lot.
You watch college football.
You hear that a lot.
Amy just walked in.
Now she's getting in the trash.
We're all quiet.
What did you throw away?
What did you throw away?
Why are you getting in the trash?
Okay.
It's her car keys.
Do you know the voice of
Spongeball?
Texas A&M.
I'm sure it's annoying, whatever it is.
Oh,
I like that, Katie.
Why didn't you go to Texas, Katie?
Why didn't I go to Texas?
Oh, I'd rather...
Die?
Amen, there we go.
There we go.
I was never on the table.
Gargamel went to Texas.
Where did everybody in East Texas go,
A&M?
Everybody in East Texas?
You ever heard of Tyler Junior College or UT Tyler?
Yes.
Pretty much where everybody went.
Had a couple people filter out of state.
There's about three of us, I think.
But, yeah, most people stay local in East Texas.
What about Shreveport?
Do people go there?
Just for the weekends.
Not really for anything.
What about ULM?
Louisiana Monroe?
Yeah, I know two people that went there.
Louisiana now.
Is that the school that changed or is it Louisiana?
Lafayette.
It's still ULM.
It is.
Okay, we don't trust you.
Sorry.
Mattie goes there.
It's still ULM.
Uh-huh.
So that one stayed.
So Louisiana Lafayette is now just Louisiana?
The Raging Cajuns?
Maybe.
I don't look at it.
See, I prefer to go, I'm not sure.
Let us take a look.
Instead of...
Instead of just declaring it.
Mike, what do you see?
I'm still looking at it.
Okay.
Still having a read.
Did you ever tell them why were the razorbacks and not our former mascot?
Yeah, do you know why were the razorbacks on our former mascot?
Because there really are no razorbacks in Arkansas.
What's the former mascot?
The Cardinals.
Really?
Oh.
Back in the back in the day, day.
Yeah.
It's an old coach back in the day.
So we play like wild pack of hogs,
razor backs.
That's awesome.
Adopted and then turned fully over.
Like that.
Yeah.
That is cool.
They don't really care about that,
they don't really care about that.
Yeah, why didn't you guys care about that?
But you didn't know the fight song,
so you also hush up.
Everybody hush up.
Everybody hush up.
But me.
Reed, I like you to talk about.
Thank you, man.
You give us a lot of material, buddy.
Oh, that turn quick.
Yeah, that we do it turn quick.
That's how we do it here.
Okay.
Let's take a break, and then I got some stuff to say about Caitlin Clark.
Okay.
All right, boom.
Okay, so we're back, and what I'm going to do, I actually recorded this yesterday.
This is on today.
We put it up on Wednesday, but I recorded this yesterday, so I'd still be in my, like, I wanted to emotionally feel it.
So I'm going to now hand off to me and us in the studio yesterday.
Here you go.
I just want to talk about Caitlin Clark for a second again, a big WMBA fan.
Still on it.
Still on it.
It's just from 25 whistles to the Caitlin Clark podcast.
Yeah, I'll do it every...
A win is a win.
A win is a win. I don't care what you're saying.

Show.
Last night we were doing breaks with dorm dudes over my house.
Which is awesome, by the way.
We love, do I saw John,
somebody broke a John Elway,
Pro Bowl, like, 1994
signed jersey.
It's red, number seven, Hawaii.
It was awesome.
Beautiful.
There was some really cool stuff.
Dude, we also broke these, like, chrome helmets.
Like, so there was Barry Sanders,
a lion's helmet that was completely blue chrome.
Chrome.
like a mirror.
And the face mask was like silver chrome.
And a visor.
You don't want every one of your helmets to be like that, but a couple of those, it looked really cool.
Yeah.
So we're doing this and I checked out a little bit, even though it was on camera.
I checked out and I was watching Caitlin Clark and the Indiana fever play the Connecticut Sun again.
Now we had also debated why they were called the Connecticut Sun.
It's because they play the Mohegan Sun in the arena.
The Mohegan Sun Arena.
The Mohegan Sun Casino Arena.
Oh, the Casino.
So there's Sun.
wondering about that.
Because Connecticut and Sun.
That's what we said.
And I had a fight about that.
But again, the Sun could be anywhere guys.
But it's not.
It's the Mohegan Sun.
So I'm watching them.
They got run by on the first game.
I'm watching because I'm a big W&B fan now.
Big fan.
And so it's like a two-point game with four minutes left.
And Caitlin Clark's been in and out.
She had an ankle injury.
Somebody set a screen on her real hard.
Her teammates are idiots.
They're not telling her when screens are coming.
It's twice in two games where she has got served up to a brick wall.
Oh, man.
You got to yell that.
Three.
I didn't even see it.
It was like, boom, nailed her.
So it's back and forth.
The Mohican Suns, Connecticut Sunscore, whatever.
They go down.
Kala Clark takes, just dimes it right to our player.
Like right under a defender, boom, lay up made, boom.
Tie game, go back down.
They, uh, there's like a foul that to get reviewed.
They make both their free throws.
So there's like 12 seconds.
left.
The fever are down two.
Caitlin Clark is inbounding the pass.
She inbounds it.
She gets it back.
Serves it right into her center,
whomever that is.
Center goes, it's a perfect pass.
Misses the layup game over.
Center did a great Euro and everything.
It wasn't even...
Hossily contested.
It is a...
It's a wild disservice for Caitlin Clark
to be playing on this terrible team.
Because everybody's using to take shots.
She still scored like...
She was still like 17, 8 and 8 or something like that.
But it's a...
early in her career.
Like you have a microscope on her right now.
On the worst team too.
But that's, hey, that's how it works, man.
Wimby went to the worst team too.
Like, it's just how it works, man.
And you've got this microscope on her.
She's going to get comfortable in the team.
The team's going to work around her.
They're going to figure it out.
But they're not.
They don't have the talent to figure it out when.
It's like Wimby.
He didn't have the talent.
Wimby was rookie of the year.
I read you the stats of his first three games and hers.
No, they're not going to win.
They're not going to figure it out.
They don't have the,
the army to beat these other liberties and the aces.
But she can still shine.
They blitz her every time she gets the ball.
And not only that, when she's playing defense,
her team gives her no help at all.
So her shining is what she's doing now.
That's about the best she can do with their dropping passes.
They're not used to getting passes.
They're not used to getting passes.
Just laid right into their hand like they're getting now.
And then to watch other players take shots at her.
Wild.
Again, I have no allegiance to Cana Clark.
except now I do
Oh, you're in now
I'm fan number one
They played four games
I've watched four games
They're only four
And I get
Yeah, they're on four
And I get,
they should have won the game
The girl missed a wide open layup
Kaila Clark said
Have an easy bounce pass
Right here
And then she takes it up
Right hand
Oh miss
Was that on the Ion channel
No, it was on ESPN
Yeah, I was
I did see that
It's travesty
Now I get it
Her team sucks
But nobody's going
These other
Diana Tarasso
These
I don't think Rebecca Lobo's been that bad.
I've been watching a lot of commentary too.
Some of them are like, you know, she's just learning.
You know, she doesn't have it now.
No, she has it.
She's already better than everybody else.
Save a few.
It's a different level, though.
I mean, it's a different level.
But she's already exceeding anything,
any of the other players are doing
because the entire defensive schemes on these teams,
they're only coming to kill Caitlin Clark.
Their only job is to guard Caitlin Clark,
kill Caitlin Clark.
These other teams that are pretty good,
they have like two or three players.
they can't fully invest in covering one person.
Caitlin Clark, when she doesn't have the ball,
she's being chased by two people.
And she's still scoring 17, 21, 22.
They almost beat the team that beat them in game one.
She's already really good.
She's already top seven player in the WMBA now,
and she has nobody to help her.
I volunteer's tribute.
I will go play.
Question.
So are you...
I will tuck and go play.
Stop that.
Stop that, man.
Hey, are you upset,
that they're losing?
No, I don't care about that.
It is because she's still putting up good points
and good stats.
What I care about is people are using the losing against her
to argue why she isn't as good as everybody
It works.
But every talking head is saying that.
Well, they're stupid.
Not us.
Hey, we're talking about.
It's like the Liberty who are like,
we've made $2 million in ticket revenue tonight.
No, no, no, no.
You made $2 million dollars a ticket revenue that night
because you were playing Caitlin Clark.
Yeah.
So.
See what their next game does.
That's what I said.
That's what I said.
It's so stupid.
Anyway, I just wanted to have that still in me.
Yeah, man. Glad you got that.
You get it out?
I don't know. What did they play again?
Oh, boy.
Mike, can you look and see when the fever play again?
I had to set my...
I did see her pull it from, like, the logo and make one.
That was awesome.
She's never open.
Yeah.
The only time that she really has any space is when they're...
It's a fast break.
And I think the logo, three, she hit two was on a fast break.
Yeah, it was on a fast break.
She just dripped it and, boom, nailed it.
Yep.
Those shots are so long.
Yeah.
How did you do that?
I tried that at the Y the other day.
I couldn't do it.
From the logo, but the Y logo is real small.
It's a little logo.
A little Y logo.
Wednesday night.
Okay, so when you're hearing this, it's tonight.
She's going to play.
You're going to watch it?
Yeah.
You also got the Timberwolves.
Can't look hard.
Who?
I can do both.
I got YouTube TV.
Okay.
Oh, you have that room with multiple TVs too.
And I have multiple TVs.
Yeah.
That's cool.
I'm going to flex that hard, but I do have YouTube TV and multiple TVs.
Dang.
And I play PlayStation in the middle of multiple TVs.
And you have your VR thing.
Yeah.
Don't buy that.
Okay. No, I wasn't going to buy it.
In case you were thinking about it.
I'm not going to buy that.
I forgot about that.
The storm.
Yeah, that's, um...
Is it?
I don't know, dude.
Come on, let's guess.
Let's guess, let's guess.
Chicago.
You can get it.
Chicago.
No, Seattle.
I'm going to go, the storm are the...
Had they said it yet?
Yeah.
Okay, Seattle then.
Yeah.
Yeah, it's storms in Seattle all the time.
Who plays...
It rains.
You know, man.
They could have been the Seattle's sun.
Yeah.
I mean, the Connecticut's son.
Come on.
Who plays on the Seattle?
Oh.
Does the three-point shooter from Oregon play for the Seattle Sun?
Inescu.
Sabrina?
Not seeing her.
Okay.
None of us know anything.
I know Kelsey Plum plays for
Las Vegas.
Where did Angel Reese go?
She plays for
No, because she played for LSU.
I want to say now.
Angel Reese.
I know that the Steph Curry's god sister plays for L.A.
Steph serious.
What?
What?
The blonde girl?
Except her is God's a godson.
That's his god sister?
Wait, hold on.
What's a god sister?
Her parents agreed if her parents died to take care of her.
They're very close.
What's her name?
She played a Yukon, right?
I'd just been seen her a lot.
Cameron Brick?
That's it, Cameron Brink.
We're learning.
Hey, you can make fun of us for not knowing their names.
We're learning.
First time we ever cared to talk about WMBA.
Are you my God, brother?
No, because...
We're tight?
I would take...
No, I could be...
You could go to me and say,
hey, if something happens to you and your wife, would you take care of my kids?
I'd be your kid's godfather.
Absolutely.
I want my kids to go live with you for sure.
They would love the pool.
You want to send them now.
He's like, you're taking them right now.
I'm going to say that she plays out I'm guessing.
I didn't look.
I think it's another major market team like Chicago.
Wait, the blonde.
Angel Reese.
Oh, bring place for L.A.
Yeah.
Do you know that.
Angel Reese is with Chicago?
I don't know.
Mikey.
He plays for Chicago Sky.
And those are the sky.
Sea storm, sky.
You know why?
They have a sky.
Clouds.
And he can justify any
any mascot
LA Sparks
Was that
Yeah
Because it's all a spark in L.A.
That's the one team
I do know for sure
Maybe
Not even being from
Southern California
But what's her name
Was it Mile Moore
Played for them for a long time
I don't know if she did
The tall one
The real tall one
I know why I'm more
Because she went to be a lawyer
And like
Changed the world
Yeah
Now she's not even playing
Right
And
I remember Rebecca Lobo
Who's the
Only at Yukon
And the real talk
Leslie Leslie
Yeah Leslie
Leslie
Yeah Lisa Leslie
Lisa Leslie
And then Cheryl
Swo
Ferrell Swoops.
I don't know what teams they played for.
I just remember Olympics.
Lisa Leslie was L.A.
Yeah, she was Sparks for sure.
What about?
She was the face of the W.A.
for a long time.
The Kings.
L.A. Kings.
We switch it back to.
Hockey.
I mean, hockey's tough, too.
I know more about WBA
the hockey, though.
Really?
Yeah.
I know nothing about hockey.
I got John Hockey.
I guess I know.
I have a friend that plays for the Preds.
And I know nothing about hockey.
And plays for the Bruins.
Well, he's a big fan.
I don't have, it's my friend.
I have a friend that I've played.
I think he wants to be friends though.
That I've played golf with.
That I could...
Be friends with a Bruin.
I don't know him.
I don't have to know him.
What are you like?
Dinner.
He's a big fan.
I would love to be friends with him except I don't even know his name.
Charlie Coyle.
And let's let's look.
What up?
Charlie Coyle, let's go.
And let's not talk so much about not knowing much about hockey.
But I don't.
And you know what?
Maybe that'll bring your friendship closer.
Yeah, we can get them on and talk about it.
I don't know much about hockey.
Okay.
I know Mario Lemieux, Pittsburgh.
Oh, dude.
They were awesome.
Crosby, Pittsburgh.
Alex Ovechkin?
Alex Ovechkin, Canada.
The Olympic team?
Sure.
No, he's from Russia.
Oh, dang.
Oh, dang.
Pecoreen.
Somewhere over there.
Pecorene, when it isches.
P.K. Suban.
I know him.
From here.
What's Peck?
He's not here anymore.
He doesn't play anymore.
P.
P.K.'s done?
Peck.
Oh, I don't know about P.
No.
Wait, P.
P.K. Subon, yeah.
He's on ESPN now.
Oh, cool.
I'm dating and stuff.
Name another one.
Yarmir Yogur.
Russia.
I think he still plays, honestly.
I know.
No, I think he plays overseas.
Right?
Yeah.
He was a, he was the enforcer.
Corey Perry.
I kissed a girl and I liked it.
That's Katie Perry.
My bad.
My bad.
See, I don't know anything else.
I know Mark Messier.
Connor McDavid?
No.
Mark Messier is the Rangers.
Rangers.
So my friend is Roman Yosi, who plays here, and I remember we were playing golf,
and he's a nice guy ever, and he's from like Swedish land or Finland or something.
Swedish land.
Yeah.
And I was like,
I know you play hockey.
Like, what do you do?
Play hockey.
He doesn't talk like that.
He doesn't?
It's a much friend.
No, but it's not like that.
His accent's much friendlier.
Oh.
It's not Russian.
So it's warm.
It's like, play hockey.
No.
I play hockey.
But he was like, he was like defensive player of the year or something.
I don't, let me look.
And I was like, hey, pardon my ignorance in hockey, but I was never around it and I never just like invested any time and learning it.
and I never played it, nor will I ever play it.
So he is a, he's from Sweden.
I know his wife, too, but I'm trying to see.
You ever been to Sweden?
No.
Roman, he won the Norris trophy.
That's a defensive award.
I haven't either, man.
I just look like, he won, like, defensive player of the year.
Oh.
He won the Norris trophy.
Out of the whole NHL?
Uh-huh.
So.
I love those games they play out.
side in the winter.
The winter classic.
It's neat when I'm looking through and I see it and I'm like, oh,
the whole, they kind of turn the stadium to it, change.
I went to the one here a couple years ago.
Yeah, I just don't, I have an, I have an appreciation because I know it's extremely hard
and if it be major athlete doing multiple things at once.
But I also don't know anything about, what's the sport that they play for like 48 hours,
but they go to sleep?
What the?
Cricket.
Yeah, and they have like 48 hours.
What are you talking about?
Three day matches.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Cricket, the one game.
It's like baseball and it hits the ground.
A match lasts like three or four days.
You have the paddle.
But Eddie, imagine this.
It's not that crazy.
I know you're like, what?
Think of a baseball series.
That's a three-day series.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
It's a three-hour game.
Friday, Saturday, Sunday.
But that's what's happening.
Yeah, but it's each game.
Every day's a game.
This is a one game that lasts that long.
That's tough.
It doesn't last for 24 hours.
48, you said.
No, but I'm saying it's over that span.
They stop playing and go to bed and eat and stuff.
Okay, okay.
In five days, six hours a day.
There you go.
Six hours a day.
Time out.
Time out.
Yes, I'm just saying in baseball, there are people stay in the same town.
Baseball games just to be four hours.
It's not a little more, but not crazy, crazy, crazy more.
I was talking to a dad and he said my kids should try lacrosse.
I'm like, dude, we're Mexican.
That's like football.
We don't try lacrosse.
Mexicans don't play lacrosse?
No.
I wanted to say something else before we drop this segment.
I know you guys are all trying to book your guests to make a hundred bucks.
Who's your guest, Eddie?
Mine is Eddie Murray.
Who's yours, Kevin?
Barry Larkin.
Mike, who's yours?
Mike Messina.
Okay.
Eddie, what have you done to book yours?
I googled where is Eddie Murray?
Nothing, man.
I saw that...
That's all you did.
I saw a couple of articles, but there's like from six years ago.
You're not like trying.
Okay, so you're not trying.
No, I'm trying.
I just don't know how to find it.
He lives in L.A.
Mike, what have you done?
Try to find social media.
Nothing.
I'm on LinkedIn trying to find somebody connected to him.
Okay, same thing.
Mike and Kevin have...
No, you literally Googled where is he?
Right, that's how you start.
You're like freaking going Carmen San Diego.
Find my location.
And not book a guest.
Where is Eddie Murray?
He read an article headline.
No luck there.
Okay.
Oh, and then Kevin, I have your...
I told you it wasn't much.
But I have your card that I ordered here.
It's of 99.
It is a Robert Parrish, game-worn jersey from, I think, like 84.
Really?
Yeah, it's part of the jersey.
Yeah, there you go.
So that's the card I saw and I bought that.
Because I know you're...
Nice.
Dude.
Keep that.
Hey, be careful, man.
Let's go.
Leave it in the case.
I will.
Don't worry.
Put it somewhere safe.
Thank you.
Thank you.
I tell my kids.
But do they do it?
No, I'll find it in the couch.
Find it in between the cushions and the couch.
You think anybody ever takes us out and puts it on their own, like, jersey at home?
I thought about that.
It's sewing it in the jersey.
I've never thought about that, but that's awesome.
Like, you're playing with a piece of Robert Barron.
I just thought about that.
You build a super jersey with a bunch of them.
Like I have a Tatum jersey.
What I have to put Parrish and Tatum together?
I think that's a great fun idea.
And then Mike just took your idea and took it to the next level
where you get 300 of them and make your own jersey of all of them.
Oh, yeah.
And it's like I got on Parrish, McHale, Bird.
Look over here.
That's expensive.
Money's no object in Fairyland.
That's where we are, man.
We're in Fairyland.
All right, let's take a break and we'll come back.
Hey, before we get out of here, I wanted to pull,
because we just did that whole segment on Caitlin Clark,
I wanted to pull some stats.
Because this is today, it's still on my mind.
Hey, well, you see what, did she play again tonight, right?
We said that.
Canell Clark plays tonight.
Through four games.
Wimby average 22.
Katelyn Clark average 17 a game.
So points, pretty close.
A rebound.
A win is a win.
A win is a win.
I don't care what I'm saying.
Yep, that's me.
Cliver Taylor the fourth.

I'm Tad Ramos.
I'm Tom Boe.
On our podcast, inside American soccer, you'll get the real storylines.
I'm not worried about Policic.

The biggest decisions.
You're going to look at stats and numbers.
He has no shot at making this World Cup team.
And the truth about the U.S. national team.
It wouldn't be a huge surprise if our team ends up in the quarterfinals
or potentially a great run into the semifinals.

Wendez.
Wemby, a lot more there.
These are Wemby's first four games?
Yeah, what rookie of the year?
And assists, we're about the same.
Let's see how many games won be won.
He went two and two.
She should have gone four now.
Pretty close, huh?
Yeah, but the team.
Who are they playing tonight?
Can they went tonight?
The Storm, yeah, they're one and three.
The Storm.
The Seattle Storm.
Who plays for Seattle Storm, though?
Do we ever find that out?
I don't want to do this again.
I know we did it yesterday.
We don't know much.
We don't know much.
We don't know much.
We don't know much.
We know we love her.
Do you know who that is?
Do you know that impression?
Can I hear it again?
There's no chance she knows it.
No chance.
Mike, can you pull that music down for one second?
It's a song I'm going to sing the song and the actual person that sings the song too.
Don't know my.
And that's a pretty good impression.
Yeah, let's give it a six and a half out of ten.
Yeah.
You won't know it.
You'll give me a decade.
I know old country music, but I don't think that's country.
It's not, but he did sing it with a country-ish singer.
Well, that narrows it down.
to not to nothing.
Reid, do you know that it is?
No.
You never heard anyone sing kind of like that?
Once you say his name, I'll know.
Put off the top of my head.
Patrick Starr.
I knew it.
Went to school with him, man.
His name's Aaron Neville.
Nope, actually, nope.
Never heard of it.
And I believe he sang that song
was Linda Ronstat,
and she was a bit of a hybrid.
I believe so, yeah.
She was a pop star too, right?
For sure.
We weren't alive then.
I think she like did a little mingling over here.
Okay.
Okay, so we're watching Caitlin Clark tonight.
We are?
Games on watching.
Hopefully they went tonight.
Eddie, any final thoughts?
Oh, I want to thank you, dude.
I got the best news ever about going to St. Louis.
Best news ever.
Kevin told me.
You should know it because I think you're behind it.
I got my own hotel room.
Oh, yeah.
Dude, thank you so much.
I was sick and tired of rooming with Kevin.
Kevin. Thank you, man.
Welcome.
Well, I put you in first class last time, though, and it was awesome for you, but then you left your computer behind and it stuck us back.
Correct.
I will not leave.
And he gets rewarded with his own room.
If anything happens, because I obviously have to pay for all the rooms and our travel and stuff.
And if you screw this up, because no more first class for you.
Like what, leave something in my room?
Anything that we have to like, you burn it down.
Oh, gosh.
I get it.
Yeah.
You get your own room.
Yeah, dude.
Thank you.
That's a great news.
You deserve it.
Thank you, man.
And then also numbers-wise, it just worked out.
Because Mike D can't go.
Oh, that does work out.
Kevin and Reed are sharing a room.
Yeah, thank God.
And then Katie has a room herself.
Correct.
And then we have a room.
Not together.
Not to know.
We're separate.
We're separate.
Yeah, that would be good.
Okay, cool.
Reed.
I got a weird question.
Does the WMBA have trading cards?
Yeah.
Yes, they do.
Actually, I have a couple of Caitlin Clark rookies.
Oh, okay.
That's what I was going to have.
And Iowa cards.
Yeah.
Oh, that's cool.
I don't know that.
Should I have a wimby rookie?
Should I hold on to it?
It just depends which one it is.
I think it's just the base.
Yeah, like you can still probably get 20, 25 bucks from a decent base,
but it just depends which one it is.
But yeah, I send one base off to be graded,
which costs 18 bucks or so.
Yeah.
But I would keep it.
You're not going to make enough off of it right now.
You're not going to sell up for anything unless it's graded like two bucks.
Kevin?
Yeah, I just talked to the Cardinals, like an hour or so ago.
It's gonna be fun, guys.
And girls.
Sorry, Katie.
No, guys can be a universally.
Okay.
Yes, of course.
Okay.
You guys ready?
You didn't say a group of men.
All right.
That's true.
But yeah.
Katie, you can be a guy or?
No, it's not even, oh, she is a guy.
Like, what's up, guys?
That's everybody.
You can also use y'all.
Yeah.
He doesn't really say y'all.
He doesn't have a real home.
We don't know he's from.
He's from Boston, but not really.
And he lived in Europe and got his whole.
He's a big.
He saw a cold play.
Yeah, it's a thing.
He's all a call play once, but didn't know the lead singer.
Right.
It's a little muddy.
These are all facts.
Yeah.
So, yeah, so we're actually.
That's going to be a lot of fun.
Yeah, we're going to jump in his house.
Can not wait, dude.
And we're going to the car.
Yeah, I can't wait either.
And I've been a Cardinal, only because of a rivalry, like a Cardinal hater,
my whole life, because I've been such a Cubs fan.
But I'm really looking forward to it, and I don't feel like a traitor because who cares.
And like I said, if we were going to Texas, I would still do it,
but it would feel weird.
It doesn't feel weird.
I'm looking forward to it.
And also it's baseball, man.
I love baseball.
I love going to baseball games.
We got two new gloves.
Do you?
They're not new.
I bought them used.
Are you taking them?
I've taken one.
Really?
We've never taken equipment to it.
Because we never took...
But I'm taking a glove.
We're playing baseball.
You don't need equipment for football or for basketball.
So they just came out with their city connect jerseys.
Did you see them the other day?
I did not.
They're cool.
Yeah, they look awesome.
And the guy's like, he's like, well, class of, you know, you guys can have some gear to wear as we
shoot.
And they say, yeah, we're trying to push these new.
New jerseys. Do you mind if they wear those?
So you guys are getting new City Connect jerseys.
That's really cool. Yeah, that's going to be awesome.
I just don't want to get super pumped right now until we get there.
Just in case it doesn't happen? Like what do you mean? You never know.
I was worried by that for a second because you know, you know, show biz baby, right?
Showbiz baby. But then I just, like I said, I finally talked to their people and we're looking good.
Are they excited about us coming?
Super stoked.
That's cool. Because we were very excited to go.
Yeah. That's cool. All right. Katie, anything you want to say?
just that I'm excited.
My brother's going to be a little bit jealous.
How lucky is she?
Her first freaking day.
Because the Cardinals.
And she goes to a major league.
We're going to Jim Edmonds to shoot there.
And then we're going to the ballpark.
And that's like, Mike can't go.
I'm sad, man.
That sounds awesome.
And Morgan can't go.
And so we don't roll the big crew anyway.
But we're a skeleton crewing.
And I was like, well, Katie is not an intern.
She works here.
So you should come and work.
And then I was like, man, how lucky is she?
First week here.
She gets to go do one of the most fun things.
I was talking to some of my friends who just graduated,
and one of them started their corporate job right after graduation.
He goes, I couldn't believe that when I was sitting there,
that I have to come back and do this again tomorrow.
And I was like, see, couldn't be my line of work.
It's real fun.
What do you do?
So I don't need to worry about you, like, being bored.
You have friends and you have a TV and stuff?
Oh.
So really, because this, you know, even to read,
not so much Eddie and Kevin,
because we come in and do the radio show every day.
but like Reed's schedule is who knows.
It's sometimes he's got a ton of stuff to edit.
Sometimes he has nothing.
Sometimes but it's like some days there's a whole lot of stuff.
Some days there's nothing.
And yesterday I don't think we had anything for you.
I did the stats.
Oh yeah, you did.
I text her real quick.
Can I get these stats?
And she was first time it's ever happened.
She goes, got you the stats.
Send it over and text.
And I sent you a PDF over in this fight.
I'm like, let's go.
Wow.
Overachiever.
That's a good intern.
Really good.
Kevin's.
All right.
So the show is over.
We're going to blow the whistle,
but I know some of you guys don't like it,
but we broke open a box of cards from Shep's collectibles
that he had sent up,
Shep's cards and collectibles.
We were looking for Griffey Jr. rookies.
And so we Billy Ripkin.
And the Billy Ripkin F-Face bat.
So you can listen to that if you want.
If you don't, we didn't put it in the show.
But if you want to listen to that, you can.
But the show is officially over.
Eddie Blow the Whistle.
All right, we'll see you guys.
All right.
I was sent.
A box here.
I think there's a mini helmet in it,
but I don't know what it is.
We're like going to do a break here live.
This was sent.
Bobby, keep ripping.
Let's rip some at the shop sometime soon.
We're just a few miles north of downtown.
Thanks, Shep.
And it is called.
Is it called Shep?
Shep's Collectibles?
Okay, it's Shep's cards and collectibles.
I've been there, but I'm going.
And the guy's name is Shep?
I'd imagine.
He signed Shep.
The hat says Shep.
All right.
Shep cards on Instagram.
Okay.
So.
He ain't shipping you.
Okay.
Let's, we're gonna break it here.
It is a box.
It says, watch for.
Whoa, whoa, whoa, hold on.
Before you do this,
should we do like a real dorm dude's break
where like we all put in like 10 bucks?
No, because it's mine already.
And we have divisions?
No, it's mine already.
You can have divisions.
I already own it.
I don't give it to any of you.
It would be more fun, dude.
It would not be more fun for me.
We could pretend where we worked yet.
You can jump in on it?
No, sorry, guys.
You already broke it.
Yeah, okay, let's see what we got here.
Okay.
Cowboys?
No.
I had NFC East.
So.
Chief.
So, no, it was sealed.
So I'm going to tell you this.
I'm going to show you the side of it.
Oh.
Oh.
Oh.
It's your boy.
I already had the jersey.
Yeah, what jersey?
The Baker throwback.
So you want this?
I can match it.
You think it's Baker?
It could be.
Vinnie Testa Verdy?
It could be.
Mike Evans.
It could be Mike Olsock.
It could be Mike Evans.
It could be Tom Brady.
It could be Baker.
It could be Warren Sapp.
It could be.
John Lynch?
Any of those
Any of those guys.
About it.
And it was sealed.
Leonard Fournett?
It's not Tom Brady, is it?
If it's Tom Brady?
That would be crazy if it was.
Okay, so it's not Tom Brady?
I thought it was when I first pulled it.
It's Baker.
This person was, it's signed
their name, Hall of Fame, 2013.
Oh, Hall of Fame.
Is Vinnie in the Hall of Fame?
2013.
Oh, 2013.
It says Hall of Fame 13.
It's Warren Sapp.
Yeah.
It's Warren's Sapp.
Yeah.
That's pretty good one.
That's really cool.
That's awesome.
That old school helmet.
What's he doing now?
I saw him in the news recently.
I did too.
It wasn't anything bad.
No, I think he's on staff it with Dion.
Yeah, I think that's it.
Oh, really?
Coach Prime in Colorado.
Yeah.
It's what it is.
And then he sent that, and then he sent...
We got another thing?
Some cards.
Ooh, old school cards.
In packs.
It says, look for Billy Ripkin, F-Face, and King Gervie Jr.
Rookie.
How funny one to be after.
after I bought the Billy Rican F-face.
That would be terrible.
That would be funny.
Let's just do one pack and we're done.
How's it going with trying to get the guys booked?
Yeah, you know.
I haven't heard back anything.
Nothing?
No.
We have Kevin Romine.
Calvin Shoraldi for the Cubs.

Raphael Palmero, Ted Higera.
You want to do one more?
Yeah.
Kevin, you'll do one?
Yeah.
Grab me one, Eddie.
Last one.
Are you going to do one?
Reid doesn't deserve it right now.
He can give Katie one too.
All right, we're looking for either Billy Ripkin or King Griffey Jr.
Be careful with the corners.
Is this the Ken Griffey rookie?
It is.
Looks like there should be gum in here, man.
Yeah, they should be.
I know.
Baseball stickers, Andy Hawkins.
That's crazy that these did.
didn't sell back in the day and that somebody can still have him sealed.
Gary Sheffield. Nice. It is a Gary Sheffield rookie card. Rookie card? Mm-hmm.
Get that graded dude. I'll see how, well, I can just see how much it's worth though.
Rick County cut. Who is this guy a professional athlete? Look at that. Dude, I know. Some of those 80s pictures.
I mean, come on, look at Luca, dude.
Luca? Or you example? Look at Luca. Like, how does he look like a professional athlete?
Any luck, guys? No. Daryl Strawberry.
Okay
Were we trying to get a hold of him?

It was more like two bucks.
Oh.
I'm not going to get that great.
There's a Kirby Pucket at 89, but that is not a rookie year.
Tim Jones.
Oh, wow.
The Cardinals.
Wow, Tim Jones?
The Tim Jones.
The Tim Jones.
No idea.
Let's see if this one's worth anything.
Who's Mookie Wilson?
I play for the Mets.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Randy Johnson rookie.
Oil can void.
This was pretty good.
I could get 10 bucks for this raw.
I got nothing, man.
Yeah, I got you, one bones
What you got? Ryan Sandberg
Oh yeah, 89?
Yeah
He's been with the Cubs for like five years.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, it's got a lot of stats back there.
King Griffey Jr.
No, you didn't.
I don't know why you're lying.
I don't think it's a rookie.
Oh, that's him.
He got King Griffey Jr.
Let me see it.
Don't touch it.
Don't touch it.
Get your hands off it, man.
Put it down.
Here.
God, there's no way that's that card.
It's Ken Griffey.
It's not the one.
Oh, well, then it's not the one.
It's King Griffey.
I mean, it's King Griffey.
You said this in the year?
But no, there's a specific card
You're looking for it's this solo rookie
Dude, he's so young
Let me see
Oh, that is the one
It is?
That's the one
It is?
That's the one.

Well you gotta hope it's
Yes
Dude look how young he is
I thought Reed was messing with us
like he did, we won't say the thing yet
because it's not been out yet, not been put out.
Can Griffinie?
Who's Cal Griffey?
Is that?
Is he can to Cal Ripkin?
It's that one, that one.
This one?
$502 graded.
$5.02?
Yeah.
What?
Is it PSA 10 graded?
Jim meant?
That is a 10.
Okay.
Dang, he looks so young.
That's what I'm saying.
Dude.
It doesn't even look like him.
Good job, Reed.
Except you didn't do anything.
He didn't do anything.
Good job, Eddie.
Hey, I'm going to double check his cards
just in case.
He didn't miss any other ones.
I haven't checked them yet.
What do you mean?
The one's down here?
No.
I got to King Griffey and I stopped.
Reed finds the car and he still gets back.
I gave him the whole stack.
Bones, you had the rest of his stack.
I went through it.
There's not a second here.
King Griffey in that stack.
John Smoltz.
Imagine.
He's a terrible golfer I heard.
Okay.
Let's see here.
That's crazy.
Hey, we see what a nine is.
King Griffey fits like a rated nine.
Dwight good.
And you think about getting Daryl Strawberry and Dwight together or something?
Yeah, if you get them inhuman together.
Do you guys want to do one more pack?
Yes.
Katie's like, uh-huh.
Okay, Katie, take that for you and give it to those three.
Oh my gosh, I cannot believe you got that, Reed.
That's what I do, baby.
This one nine.
Rick calls the card company.
Don't let me open any more boxes.
Hey, Reed.
Oh, it's not him.
This is says Jr. on it.

Yeah, Barry Bonds.
Billy Rookkin, do you have it?
No, no, and I haven't opened yet.
Okay, we just got a box, a card sent up here from ships.
Collectibles, appreciate that ship.
We just hit a King Griffey Jr. rookie in the box.
Boom.
Look at this.
That's right, suckers.
Dude, Marvin Freeman.
What's his name?
I know this guy.
Shep's cards, boom.
You know Marvin?
Yeah, this is the dude.
Remember I told him my buddy gave me a Gaylord Perry.
Autograph baseball and I didn't know who Gaylord Perry was and so I took that ball to an Astros game and I got Marvin Freeman's autograph on it
So I have a Marvin Freeman Gaylord Perry signed baseball sounds confusing
Andre Dawson Rob Deere Chuck Finley
Alan Trammle
Roberto Alamar
It's probably a rookie card it is
Billy Ripkin who else? Oh, is there another? King Griffey Jr.
King Griffey Jr. Was it only two? Yeah
Do you have Billy?
I mean, that bill is so rare, dude.
And for those that are complaining, we put this after the show.
Yeah.
You're listening.
Yeah.
You could go.
You could have left.
I have two more.
Oh, careful, bro.
I have two more these.
Scott Bradley.
John Moses.
Cool.
Glenn Davis.
Hey, Reed, you got that, buddy.
Do you think if anybody else would have that pack, they'd open it, too, or just because it was Reed?
Because you can't know, it's, you don't know what's in that pack until you open it.
It's like Shortinger's cat.
Probably like a lottery ticket.
It was definitely all of him.
Yeah.
It's the easiest game.
What I do, dude.
Are the corners jacked up on this one?
I hope not.
Hey, what did you say a nine was, Kevin?
I see one under 450.
A nine?
Yeah.
No, I just put him back.
Braves.
O'Do B. McDowell, Tom Glavin.
I already went through him.
You can go through them.
Medina, Keith Hernandez from Seinfeldon.
Keith Hernandez from Seinfeld.
Yeah, Julia, Barry Larkin.
Okay, well, look at us.
We got Randy Johnson rookie and a Ken Griffey Jr. rookie.
That's freaking awesome.
What about Bobby, Barry Bonds?
What about it?
Bobby Bonds?
I'm trying to find it on here, but I got a Barry Bonds one.
Is it a rookie?
I got a Bobby Binella.
Yeah, that's who I thought that was.
Bobby Bonds.
Oh, man, I think this corner of Griffey can be a little tinky.
Oh, really?
Well, it looks like Reed got a hold of this.
Reed.
Read.
All right.
We're done.
Good job, everybody.
And until next time.
We'll see what we get this graded.
