Welcome to Friday show.
Morning studio.
Morning.
I hit on my scratch off this morning
How much? Well, I don't know yet
So my New Year's resolution was to hit
A thousand bucks or more
I've been scratching them every day
I'm gonna scratch it in a second
But I've scratched the match
Well, it just says jumbo
Oh, that's got to be good
Oh, that's five times
Five times whatever you scratch
Really? Oh, it does say this
It says match any of your numbers
The price shown get a jumbo win five times that prize
Guys, you don't have to question me
It's a lottery ticket
No, we didn't question you
So what do we need?
need.
If it's five times and you need
a thousand.
A million because it's up to
$5 million.
Oh my goodness.
That would be crazy.
I'm going to scratch it this segment.
I do want to play two voicemails and then I'll scratch the money here.
Give me Joanne from Delaware.
Just had a question.
I want to find out whatever happened with the bit where Eddie and Morgan
we're going to compete against one another putting something together from
Wayfair or IKEA or whatever it was.
Just checking in and see where that is.
It was from Wayfair, but Eddie broke his arm.
Yeah.
That bit is on hold for six.
weeks. That's a disadvantage for me, so to wait.
Sorry. Sorry, Wayfair. Sorry, Morgan, because I think you would have dominated him.
Next up, Brittany from North Carolina.
I was just calling in about Eddie. I worked for an orthopedic surgeon and just want to let you know
that if he is on Percocet, which is probably what he was trying to say, you can get
cited with driving while impaired if a police officer pulls you over. So we suggest not doing that
and hope you feel better, hopefully to visit today with your orthopedic surgeon went well.
and take care.
So we had the visit a couple days ago.
Maybe she's listening on podcast.
But no worries, I got a ride to work.
That morning where he was like, I'm kind of drunk.
He did get a ride to work from.
I forgot.
Wait, what?
I really did.
I was like, stop.
Yeah, because after I said that, I'm like, wait, why did I say that?
I didn't even drive to work.
He was on drugs.
Well, yeah, I mean, I was actually really concerned.
I'm like, you're not supposed to drive.
But then I felt bad for calling him out.
And I'm like, oh, I don't want to get him in trouble.
But he didn't even drive?
No.
He didn't drive because we walked out.
and Tim escorts me out of the building every day
and I was like, where's Eddie's Jeep?
And he's like, no, I drove him to work.
I said, Eddie thought he drove.
And he was like, Eddie's on drugs.
Gosh, you're high.
That's crazy.
So Eddie didn't drive and didn't know he didn't drive.
Hey, this percocet stuff is crazy.
Percocet, percassette.
Give me one more.
I know this is such a weird question,
but I've been listening for like 18 years or something
and I've always wondered
since lunchbox can't touch his shoulders,
how does he wipe?
you goes to the bathroom. Good question. What? Lunchbox doesn't have the ability to touch his shoulders
with his arms. They don't work backward. But can you, do they, can you wipe your butt?
My butt is not anywhere near my shoulders. Sure, but she's just asking, does your limited arm
range affect you in other areas? No, I can wipe my butt, no problem. Okay. That was a weird question.
That is a weird question. Like, I mean, your butt, like your hand hangs to your side. It's touching
your butt. I think she's just saying you have limited range. Is it limited in other places?
More so than knowing exactly how yours is limited.
She just was like, is he able to wipe his butt?
No, I usually do it right hand.
Oh, I'm good though now.
Oh.
Yeah, yeah.
Thank you.
Disgusting.
Well, she asked.
All right, you want to scratch this?
Can I get a little drum roll?
So this is my jumbo bucks.
Come on, baby.
Went up to $5 million.
My resolution has been to win $1,000.
And I have jumbo.
Which means whatever I scratch, I'll have times five.
My gosh, what if you get a million?
Times five.
Here we go.
That's cratching.
Come on.
Now, the first part of it does say times five.
Second part says, oh, million.
I want $200.
It's 40 times five.
It says $40 times five.
This is a $200 ticket.
This is the most lunchboxes ever won.
Not $250.
Oh, dang.
You're not on my level.
Close.
Okay.
I just want $200 on this ticket.
Dada.
I didn't resolution it, but you know what?
Happy days are here again.
I won $200 for my brands.
Okay, cool.
It's the anonymous sin box to be had.
Hello, Bobby Bones.
Today I received a speeding ticket in the mail,
but I wasn't the one driving the truck.
A couple of weeks ago,
my roommate borrowed the truck to move some furniture.
The ticket was for that same day,
but now he's denying any.
knowledge of the infraction and sticking me with it. Here's my question. What's the process if I
decide to fight this? Can I force my roommate to show up in court? I don't exactly want to pay
$150 for something I didn't do. Signed, ticketed Tim. If there's no camera and there's no image
and it's in your name and he denies it, it's on you. You can't drag him into court and be like,
judge, I really think it was him. It doesn't matter.
So what sucks for you is that this happened, probably your roommate.
Is he a liar in general?
Like, if he's like a good dude who would tell the truth, I think you got to believe him,
possibly it could have been you and you just don't remit.
But there's nothing you can do about it in the end.
You just can have to bite the bull and pay the $150 bucks.
There is no legal recourse if you don't have proof that it wasn't you,
even though it's probably your roommate.
Amy?
I would try to find a new roommate too.
Yeah, I mean, you can't force them to go there.
That's a lot of money, though, I'd have to find.
Oh, I know.
I mean, eventually, when it works itself out, because if you know that this is the case and they're
not owning up to it, then that's not a very good roommate.
But I don't think you can know-no.
But unless there is some sort of proof, I don't think you can no-no.
What stinks is he probably knows.
That's what I'm thinking.
We probably all know.
But no-no is a different thing.
No-no is if they got you on camera going through the toll without paying or something like that.
A lot of different kinds of knows here.
Yeah, there's no.
and then there's no no, then there's no.
You're going to have to pay the 150 bucks.
Yeah, yeah.
And then also try to find a new roommate.
The key is to get your roommate to admit it.
Maybe you can get him to admit it and just pay half.
But he's already dug in or I don't think he'll admit it.
You have those little psychological games that you learned online.
I don't know what you're talking about.
Whatever.
He could learn those and get his roommate to confess.
Tell him right now how to do it.
I don't know what you're talking about.
I have no idea.
I don't talk about that kind of stuff.
Yeah, bad news for you.
You got to pay the 150, buddy, unless you can get any sort of footage, camera, the cop took a picture of the car, etc.
But yeah, you got to eat that.
Sorry, man.
All right, that's it.
Close it up.
Here's a voicemail from last night.
Hey, so I have a guess on your secret envelope.
I think what you wrote down was Abby is going to be engaged or get engaged at some point this year.
And I think that's the big secret envelope item in there.
Thank you for your guess.
I do have an envelope that I sealed.
I dated, I drew something on it that I could not replicate.
In that I have a prediction, that is not it.
Oh, because that's a good one.
I think that could possibly happen and no one would be shocked by it.
If I'm right about this, you guys are going to go, is he related to Ms. Cleo?
You might do that.
So that's all I'm saying.
Like, it would have to be something so out there.
Oh, you're going to go.
Oh, my God.
Like I have a baby.
What?
Like, you always go back to the baby thing and then we're like, Amy, do you want to have a baby?
She's like, I don't know.
Is it something like that?
Because that'd be crazy.
I'm not giving any indication, but I have a secret envelope that I wrote a prediction that I think will happen on this show.
There's no reason for me to think this, by the way.
No reason.
Then why did you think it?
Right.
You will say, is he related to Ms. Cleo when it's over?
And for those that are young and don't know, Miss Cleo, you could call her at a 900 number back in the day.
And she would give you psychic predictions.
It'll cost you a little bit.
Great documentary about it.
You ever watch her?
No.
In the documentary?
No.
It's cool.
I felt bad for a lot of people in that documentary.
But she was crushing it.
She was pop culture icon for a long time.
So there's that.
It's called Call Me Miss Cleo and it's on Max.
And it gets about 60%.
They're haters, though.
The 40%?
Yeah, they didn't rate high enough.
They're kind of haters.
Okay, there's that.
Also, on the fourth and the fifth, so not next week, but the week after.
That's a Tuesday and a Wednesday.
On Tuesday, Matt Stell, the artist, a bunch of number ones, Eddie and myself, we're playing a show in Atlanta.
On the 5th, which is a Wednesday, we're playing a show on Mobile, Alabama.
Get your tickets.
Tickets are not expensive.
Like 20 bucks.
All the money goes to St. Jude.
It is a weeknight, but we will have you out by like 9 o'clock.
We're doing it for charity and we're driving a bus through, so we're stopping at a bunch of shows.
Get tickets at Bobbybones.com.
News Amy's pile of stories.
The Department of Health and Human Services is preparing new guidelines on how much alcohol is okay.
for Americans to drink.
Generally?
Yeah, I got a preview of the report.
Okay.
Yeah, and it says more than one drink per day
could greatly increase your risk of dying prematurely.
And why this is like, oh, crazy is because we've heard
for men, two drinks a day, women, one drink a day.
Should be okay.
Question.
Let's say they say one drink a day,
but you don't have a drink every day.
Could you save that up and have like seven on Sunday?
I don't think so.
No, okay.
I don't think so.
It's not like they say you can't miss sleep
and then catch you all up on the weekend.
That's not good for your body.
So it's similar to that then.
I think, you know, I'm not an expert in this,
but I am doing dry January.
And when I saw the support, I was like,
hey, I may extend my dry January and keep going as long as I possibly can.
How you doing with that?
Still dry?
Yeah, yeah, dry as a bone.
There you go.
Yeah.
Go ahead.
Dry.
Have you ever heard of bigorexia?
Let's just say, maybe I have.
So there are all kinds of body image disorders.
We're very familiar with anorexia being one of them.
it's widely known, but bigorexia is when maybe you haven't heard of, but it's when a person has this
distorted self-image and they believe that they're not muscular enough. It can happen to anyone,
but it's most common among teenage boys and young men.
I have not heard of that. I thought you said big erectionia.
No, I didn't.
And you heard of that? Hey, let's just say.
People who suffer from bigorexia often turn to excessive weightlifting, extreme diets, and even steroids.
Isn't that just a version of body dismount?
So you do more?
I don't know.
Yeah, no, I mean, I just had not heard of this term at all.
And it's a new one that's out there.
And honestly, I don't think that Ray has this, but I thought of Ray when I read it.
I think he outgrew it.
But there was a time where I think he was obsessed with gaining muscle.
Are you referring to our audio producer, recreational bodybuilder,
Ray Mundo?
Yes.
Got it.
No longer that anymore.
It all looks good in a suit.
So I just run a little bit and lift nothing more than 30 pounds.
Why so low, though, bro?
Dang.
Wait, what's the heaviest you left?
Are you kidding?
No.
Come on, Amy, come on.
I'm honestly not kidding.
I don't know.
Hey, you're probably kidding.
I don't live more than like 10.
Hey, you're probably kidding.
You don't want to know.
Yeah, I do.
It's just sad.
They don't call me big erexia in the other than anything.
All right, go ahead.
Okay, so Morgan Wallin is a top IHeart nominee.
We've got the IHart Awards, the Music Awards,
and he is up for Country Song of the Year, Country Artist of the Year,
and best collaboration as well.
You know, his song...
What's the collab?
The collab is with...
Him in the chair?
Post Malone, I had some help.
I had some help.
I threw the chair.
Stop.
And then his country song here is featuring Ernest.
It's cowgirls.
Okay, cool.
Such a good one.
But for Best New Artist in the Country category,
shout out Ashley Cook, Dasha.
No, we don't want Dash it.
It's the I-Hart Flores.
George Burr, Shaboozy, and Tucker Wetmore.
Yeah, Georgia Shabuzi.
No dasha.
Anti-Dashah.
Okay, is that it?
I'm Amy.
That's my file.
That was Amy's pile of stories.
It's time for the good news.
With Bobby.
Tell me something good.
So they got her scratch off.
She's grandma.
She's 76 years old.
And so grandma's like,
thank you for the scratch off.
And so she starts scratching the ticket,
nothing, no money,
no money.
There's one left.
She scratches the final one.
no money.
Oh, where's the good news?
The good news is it was a pregnancy announcement from her grandkids that she was waiting on.
They had created a ticket.
Oh, that's really cool.
You can do that.
Yeah, I guess so.
I guess you can do anything you want, Amy.
Hey, world joister.
How about it?
You know what I mean?
That's cool.
You can special order announcements through the lottery ticket.
Yeah.
She freaked out.
I watched it on TikTok.
It's really cool because you're watching it going out.
I bet she was like $10,000 or something.
And it's a pregnancy announcement.
and she was super excited.
It's just like a real cool personal moment.
That's from people.
And you can, again, look up Granny Rose Bell.
If you want to see it on TikTok, you'll love it.
That's what it's all about.
That was Tell Me Something Good.
I'll go first.
The Oval Office and how it is now, it's literally an oval, was created in 1934.
It was designed so that Franklin D. Roosevelt could move easily because he was in a wheelchair.
Oh, yeah.
So they made it in an oval show.
so he can move all around the office
and also get from the office,
working it, and get to the residence.
So because of, it was basically
handicap accessible,
and that's why it was created as an oval.
Pretty interesting.
Amy?
People's tongues have a unique print
just like our fingerprints.
I don't know we could be identified
by our tongue print.
What if you have one of those knots
on it from like a lie bump?
It's like, all right, we need to check your tongue print.
You put it down.
You got a lie bump on this?
You never have liebom?
Is that what your grandma called him?
Yeah.
Like, because she'd say, if you're lying.
You get a lie bump.
You get a lie bump.
They get a lie bums.
But what did you lie about?
And then I would be like, I did, I lied.
You got me.
A mouth sore.
Eddie.
Did you know that Buzz Lightyear's real name before he was Buzz Lightyear was Lunar Larry?
I don't understand his real name, meaning when they were creating the character.
Yeah, they were like, before Buzz Lightyear, he was even a thought.
They were like, Lunar Larry, that's his name.
And then they were, they were like, they were like, they were.
thought like, well, why don't we just name him after Buzz Aldrin?
Because he was a real astronaut.
Love it. Buzz Light Year.
So in like his prequel, his origin story, he's not Lunar Larry.
It was as they were creating it.
Lunar Larry.
Female cockroaches can reproduce on their own if no male cockroaches are around.
How do they do that?
Asking for yourself?
Amy's like, could you line that up for me?
That's why.
I don't know how they do it.
They don't need the dude.
They don't need the dude.
They can do it if they need.
to Morgan. So we just had the
inauguration of a president. Well, the
first woman to inaugurate a
president was Judge Sarah Hughes.
She swore in Landon, London,
B. Johnson? Landon.
London, right? London. Linden. There it is.
We found it. LBJ. Yeah, thank you. LBJ.
You thought it was London or Landon? I don't know.
I couldn't tell if I thing, like, corrected it.
Aboard Air Force
1 following the assassination of
JFK in 1963.
Yeah, so she only had to do it when it was an emergency.
Why don't we have...
I guess a Supreme Court justice, because now that's who does it, it's Supreme Court Justice.
This is all of it more sad and infuriating than fun.
Fun.
Somebody died in order for a woman.
I didn't know there was a first woman.
I didn't know this was a whole thing.
And she also thought it was London Jackson, a whole different guy.
He's a superhero.
That was Buzz Lightyer's original name, London Jackson.
It's more like, yeah, we need to get a woman to do it and not in extreme circumstances.
I'd feel that.
Yeah, Supreme Court Justice does it now.
Yeah, lunchbox?
Oh, you can actually die.
laughing, intense
bouts of laughter,
and it causes you to suffocate.
And numerous people have done that.
Rest in peace to our listeners who for sure have had this happen.
People died laughing?
Yeah.
This is not fun.
I don't know.
I think that's pretty fun.
What a way to go.
What were you laughing at that?
You couldn't stop laughing.
I can tell you.
Somebody fell on the ice on the porch.
Those are funny.
But what if...
I don't know.
Like I'm watching TikTok.
Sometimes I think I might die laughing.
I watch them pretty funny stuff.
Okay.
I guess, yeah.
If you got on an algorithm, you might die laughing.
I got the best.
Dockbrother. Facebook uses blue because Mark Zuckerberg is red, green, colorblind.
Blue is the richest color for me. All I can see is all of the blue, says Mark Zuckerberg.
It's kind of sad. He can't see colors.
He's turned into a complete weirdo, there too, by the way.
Oh, yeah. He's just bizarre. That is bizarre. You see him look at Bezos' wife's boobs during the inauguration?
No. And he got caught. He just looks right down. And they were like, we got you, dude.
And he doesn't give two craps about that.
Billionaire.
The first Super Bowl was carried by both CBS and NBC at the same time.
They ran it on two different television networks.
Whoa, I wonder what?
Unbelievable, right?
Because they're TV contracts.
And they both had NFL.
And so the Super Bowl was pretty new, and they both had the rights to air it.
And so they both aired it.
Wow.
This has not happened since then, because now they pay a lot of money to have the Super Bowl because they sell the commercials.
But that's what's up.
Fun, Fat, Friday.
A win is a win.
A win.
I don't care what you're saying.

Let's do Amy all the time.
So I'm now using dryer balls.
Have you heard of those?
You said that funny.
Is it
is that a sheets?
Yeah, because I can't use dryer sheets anymore because of my rash.
Oh, right.
Remember?
Yeah. So what? How do you know?
Well, I just, I process of elimination myself,
but then I went to the dermatologist and he confirmed that I probably just shouldn't use dryer sheets at all ever, even if I think that my skin can handle it because my skin's just really sensitive.
So I ordered wool balls.
They're dryer balls that made out of wool and you throw them in the dryer.
You hear you.
Where does it 12?
I know.
Yeah.
So do they work the same?
So far.
It's been great.
I just went on Amazon and ordered or like a pack of balls.
Oh, boy.
Do you think that there are other people that may have an it or a rash and maybe don't know that it's the sheets?
and not the dryer balls?
Absolutely.
My dermatologist even said it could be fabric softener.
And I'm thinking,
well, why do they sell us this stuff
if it's ruining our skin?
So I'm just eliminating it all.
It's not worth it for me to risk a rash.
So now I have dryer balls
and I don't use fabric softener anymore,
which is so sad because I love the smell
of my fabric softener,
but I'm using vinegar or something.
Do the balls not smell good?
They're just little balls.
They have no smell.
No smell.
I saw online that some people add a drop of essential oil
to their balls and put it in there,
but I don't,
I haven't done that.
Can you reuse the balls?
Yes.
Okay.
Great question.
Yeah, you just order them and then you keep them and you toss them in.
Depending on the load size, you, 902 balls.
This is too much, bro.
I can't do this anymore.
No, I know.
It wasn't meant to.
Ray, we got to get out of here.
Go, go, Ray.
I got to be careful.
A guy in Pennsylvania was arrested because he shot an Instacart driver,
not because he thought the driver was up to no good as they delivered groceries,
but because he didn't know who it was.
Oh my gosh.
Yeah, his name's Nicholas Sabo.
43 years old was taken into custody for wounding Jerry with Chambay, who was dropping off groceries.
According to police, the wife had placed an order but did not tell her husband.
Hours later, when the guy arrived at the property, she told her husband she had received a movement alert from a home security camera near the garage, which made her think somebody was trying to break in to a utility.
trailer.
Whoa.
So then the suspect, which is the husband, goes outside and shoots the driver in both legs.
Oh, my gosh.
I think it was one shot that went through both legs.
The husband goes out, sees the individual, no verbal confrontation, just shoots.
He then, the guy who was shot, goes back to his vehicle where the wife and the daughter were
waiting for him in the vehicle because sometimes people will grab grocery with the car.
family that'll happen like uber eats that they drive up with the whole family sometimes i wonder
they all eat all eat my fries but that's not this story but so they called 911 gonna live because
he got shot in the legs but whose fault is this everyone's is that the wives for not telling not
then not remembering and then the guy going out and not saying anything and just shooting like that's
weird too i mean that's that's a problem yeah all many things happen here that could have been avoided one
ordered some Instacard stuff, somebody shows up to the house, that's what it is. Okay, sometimes I forget
to do that. Two, she sees the motion detect. So maybe it's like, oh, that's right. I ordered
Instacart. There's a delivery person here. Or three, as he's going out, because what does he know,
except there could be somebody breaking into the house? He doesn't go, hey man, yo, what are you looking
for before you shoot? All three of those. There's just very reactionary to like what's kind of a
calm situation. It's not like the guy posed
a threat in any way, shape, or form.
It makes you think at the time I went to pick up a bench that I bought on Facebook
Marketplace, and I rang the doorbell. And the husband was
like, and it was nighttime.
He was like, who are you? What are you doing?
At least you rang the doorbell. And he was like, hey, babe, did you sell
something on face? And she goes, oh, I forgot. I forgot.
Here's the chair. Like, she was supposed to put it on
the porch, and then it became this whole thing. It was on the
porch. And then I ended up getting the chair. But it was
night time, and I was showing up to their house.
Yeah, but you rang the doorbell.
And you're a girl. Yeah, both.
I know, but they were like ready for bed and they did it.
I had to bring it multiple times.
It was a whole thing.
But not a thing like this.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
I know.
But I mean, I was on someone's property and it was sort of similar where they just forgot that they even listed it and sold it.
That's from Bradenton.com.
That's a wild story.
It's time for the good news.
With Amy.
Tell me there's not been good.
So a family was eating dinner at O'Charlie's and they accidentally left behind an envelope of money.
When they got home, they realized the envelope was missing and they were freaking out.
Well, they called the rest of.
and turns out their 18-year-old waiter named Nate, he found the envelope and he put it to the
side. Now, Nate is a college student who works five days a week saving for a car. So some are like,
hey, Nate could have just taken that envelope for himself, but he didn't. He set it aside.
I don't know the exact dollar amount, but it was significant. And she said it was just a really
hard day for her family. So to find out that Nate had set the envelope aside and that they were going
to get their money back, it was huge. So then she posted about it on socials. Community started
flooding Nate with donations to help him out.
Because, you know, he's saving for a car and he's a college student.
So it's just really cool, like seeing others give back because he found the envelope and saved it.
And an envelope, you're going to see the cash too.
Yeah.
And then Lola, that's the mom and the family.
And she said that her family, they're going to eat at O'Charlie's now regularly, likely in Nate's section.
Oh, you got to sit in Nate's section.
Of course.
Right.
To show their appreciation, it's really cool that other people in the community started sending donations.
especially when they give cash back because they easily could have taken the cash.
Exactly.
Great story.
That's what it's all about.
That was tell me something good.
Time for the morning corny.
The morning corny.
Why do keyboards never sleep?
Why do keyboards never sleep?
Because they have two shifts.
Okay.
Did it?
No, I get it.
That was the morning corny.
No, I get it.
But I've worked a lot of different shifts.
There's more than two shifts.
Not if you're a nurse.
There's, well, I'm not an nurse.
I wasn't ever a nurse.
12 hour?
12 hour.
Yeah, I hear you.
She's fighting for this.
I know.
All right, here's the voicemail we got last night.
Go ahead.
Morning studio.
I just wanted to say thank you.
My husband has a glioblastoma brain tumor.
And for Christmas, I decided to sign us up to be partners in hope for St. Jude.
And when I called, they told me that I would be getting a T-shirt.
And I said, wait, I want the pimper.
joy sweatshirt for my husband. It's a Christmas gift for him. And they said, well, we're sorry.
Your state is in the wrong state. And so you can't get the sweatshirt. So I thought I was getting a
teacher and guess what showed up today? A Pimp and Joy sweatshirt for my husband. Thank you. I love you guys.
I listen every single morning and I listen to the podcast. Thank you for sharing that story.
I'm very sorry to hear what you're going through. We're rooting for you. Why don't we send them a bunch of
other stuff. Okay. Can we pack it up?
Pack it up. Back it in some number
Yeah, I was going to say, well, we'll just send her the sweatshirt,
but we'll see, we can send another one too, one for her, one for him since she already has one.
That's cool. Maybe we'll send like some underwear, some boots.
You got pimping joy underwear? We don't. Just some general. Just random.
Oh yeah, we want to send you up. I think we have your number,
so we're going to get in touch with you and send you some stuff. We're rooting for you
guys. And thank you for the call.
On the Bobby Bones show now.
Kane Brown. It's new album day for Kane Brown. Before we get to that, which we
We have a question about Lunchbox.
He apologized, and you may not have heard it,
but on the air he apologized to you publicly because he says he's screwed up.
Now, Lunchbox, give your version to Kane.
So it was over the holiday break and I was at a holiday festivity thing, activity in Nashville.
And I see Kane Brown and I just don't even think.
I just go up and say hi, how's going?
Happy holidays.
And then I'm like, oh, after I left, I was like, man, he was with his kids.
But did you do that or did you do it loud?
Because he said, like, Kane Brown comes to this stuff?
Things like this.
And I said it like that.
And later I was like, man, I probably blew up his spot.
You know, he was just trying to be a family man.
And so I came on here and I apologized.
And I mean, yeah, that was the whole thing.
And Kane was probably sitting there going, this idiot.
What do you remember about that?
And if it was low-key, who cares, right?
It was the most normal conversation.
Okay.
Yeah.
He just came over.
He said, hey, Kane.
I was like, what's up, boy?
So it wasn't like, hey, Kane Brown.
Funny seeing you here.
No.
And there have, there is people that do that, but no.
And I commented on the Instagram post.
Oh, probably good.
Yeah.
So it was normal.
It was normal.
He didn't need to apologize.
No.
So do you think then he was just name dropping?
Yes.
So is that what it was then?
So he didn't need to apologize, but he was like, I saw Kane Brown.
Amy what?
I don't know.
I think this is just falls in line.
We can add this to the category of stories that Lunchbox tells that are exaggerated and not true.
No, no.
Okay.
Hold on.
My bad.
He yelled.
It was loud.
He acted as if he was like,
Kane Brown, what are you doing here?
Like, he's this real loud
and, like, it was this whole thing
and he caused a scene.
And now turns out, Kane's like,
it's pretty normal.
He's like, what up, Kane.
No, I did.
I said exactly what I said.
Because I told him, I said,
Kane Brown comes to things like this.
And he was like, yeah.
Did you call him Kane Brown?
I think I did.
I don't remember that for it.
And then later I thought about it
and I'm like, what Bobby always says about kids,
he had his kids with him.
And I was like, I didn't even think about it.
But you're not a fan seeing Kane.
being like, Kate, I'm a fan, like going up to him with his kids.
You're like a, y'all are in the business together.
It's normal to say hi.
Okay.
So, I mean, good.
So I can, that guilt can leave me.
Yeah.
Because he feels a lot of guilt.
I think he just lied for a good story.
And now that's what it is.
Okay.
What are you guys doing?
Just taking the kids to do what?
Look at trees or something?
Man, it turned out to be so bad.
Really?
Yeah.
Well, I mean, not terrible.
But like, we usually have somebody there that, you know, just gets us through everything.
And we pay for it afterwards.
and this time my wife had her brother and his wife in town,
so she decided to go and not ask for help.
Yeah, she was trying to buy the tickets.
We were trying to buy tickets.
They're like, we don't do the tickets here.
You got them online.
So then we'd go to get them online and we couldn't figure it out.
So we're just standing out there and everybody's just got, you know,
they're just with their phones out.
Everybody's really respectful.
It's just weird when, you know.
People are fishballing you?
Like, what face am I making right now?
Do you get that at restaurants if you eat somewhere
where people are recording you the whole time?
Or do you not go out to eat anymore?
We rarely go out.
The only time we really go out is if we're not in Nashville.
Right.
Because people probably are like, surely that can't be cane brown.
Yeah, I don't know.
It's weird.
But I also don't have an approachable face
because I have a rest and be face.
So a lot of people don't know if I'm nice or what.
Yeah, I feel like you're a very quiet guy.
Yeah.
I get, oh, people will think that I'm a jerk
because I just feel like nobody wants to talk to me.
Yeah, so you don't approach.
So I don't, never.
Exactly.
Never.
I just kind of sit and just do my own thing.
And then it ends up being like, man, he was kind of a jerk.
I was like, no, I didn't want to bother anybody.
You got to ask Jelly.
Jelly thought I was a d'I.
Sorry, I don't know how you said that.
Well, I thought that too about you early,
but it was just because you were quiet.
It was just so quiet.
Yeah.
It was unfair.
And it doesn't help that my wife's very chipper and we'll talk to a tree, you know.
That's probably good.
But that's probably good for the relationship
in general, though, because you got to have one if you have the other. Like, my wife's the same way,
very personable, where I'm really not, because I feel like I'm not worthy of anybody's
attention. But without her, or if we go to dinner with people, I don't even talk. She's like,
if we go to dinner, I have to do all the carrying of all the conversation. Like, she knows that's
part of, part of the deal. I saw you guys sing on New Year's Eve. Yeah. Was that live? Yeah.
Was that, what was? How was that, like, cold? It was freezing. My suit was thin. They told me I had to play for an
hour and I got like six songs. I said, I just want one. And I ended up having to play that long,
but it's over. Wait, they told you to play for an hour? Yeah, so I was playing the whole time.
And they just come to you for a song? Yeah. So during like the breaks, they're like, okay, two minutes.
So then I don't like talking, but then I had to talk to a crowd of all those people and Centennial
Park freezing. No alcohol involved.
What you're doing dry January or? Well, that was New Year's Eve. Wait. Well, no, no, I had.
it. Oh, you got it. They didn't have alcohol. Oh, fans. Yeah, and so it was super cold outside. I was like, I feel bad.
But yeah. Oh, okay, got it. We'll get to the new album fully in a second, but I do want to play the new song, Backseat Driver. So what about this song? What are you attracted to? Why'd you like it?
Oh, this is my story in a nutshell. I was not a writer on this song. It was going around for four or five years, and nobody cut it, which is crazy.
crazy to me and when I heard it, it just, I mean, I felt like I wrote it. And I mean, you know,
even, it even took me back to like middle school and high school going through the drive-thru
was, you know, my parents before they took me to school. So I just, I love it.
On the Bobby Bones Show now, Kane Brown. How do you decide how many songs to put on an album?
Because if you put on like 100, that'd be awesome. And you know you're going to get a lot,
a lot of streams on the 100 song, one.
Or nobody finishes it.
Yeah, I don't finish any album at this point.
I mean, I'll go through once and I unfairly will not give songs a second chance.
And that's why I kind of ask that too, because if you put on a lot,
16's a lot for an album.
How'd you settle on 16?
And again, you have to kind of give every song its own story so people will come and listen
to every song somehow.
Yeah.
Well, I think there's 18.
Oh, hold on.
I go to page two.
I'm not sure.
There's 18.
Page two.
You didn't look over there.
Page two, there's two more back here.
Yeah, there is.
Even longer for you.
Yeah, my bad.
Yeah, it's not a double album though, right?
No, it's not a double album, but, you know, it's been two years for me since I released an album,
so we got this, and I felt like I was kind of getting pretty rushed.
So I was like, okay, here's an album.
This is the first time that I've actually went through every sequence,
like listen to the song to the next one.
It was a couple that we had to mess around with, but I think it's my favorite album
just because I've put the most time into it,
and even though I did get rushed a little bit, but put the most time into it.
rush. Like somebody's like, we gotta turn it in?
Yeah, I mean, but that's how it always is.
I got, my last album, it has been two years.
I'm a kind of guy that just wants to go off singles,
but I feel like, you know, fans are like, give us more music, give us more music.
Did you have any of those songs where people were like,
we just barely cut it?
We heard it the last day and we barely cut it just in time.
Any of those, make that?
Rescue with Khalid.
And so when that ends up being this massive song,
that's the story you get to tell.
Like, we weren't even going to cut it.
And then all of a sudden, there's five seconds on the clock.
Yeah.
Well, that one, we just wrote late.
The album was already supposed to be turned in.
And then I was like, yo, Khalid would be perfect for this.
Do you think a bit of that is because you love it late?
Like you have a new love for it and the timing is perfect that you're recording.
And you may have loved other songs, too, that didn't make it.
But because you loved it right when the album was ending, you cut it.
No.
I think that one, we literally wrote it and had two days before the album was supposed to be turned in.
And so I sent it to Khalil.
and he jumped on it.
But when I wrote that song,
there's some songs that when you write,
you immediately love it.
And then the other ones you've got to live with
for a little bit.
What's a song you've had to live with for a little bit?
Maybe not on this record, but ever.
And you're like, I don't know,
and end up being awesome.
Like I Love Country Music.
What did you not at first feel was there?
I loved it at first.
Then Dan Huff cut it.
I didn't like how Dan cut it,
but I didn't know exactly what it was
that I didn't like the song anymore.
So I let it sit there for a year or two years.
Wow.
And then I randomly found the dimmed
to that song again, fell in love with it again,
and then realized it was just a production.
So I had Dan recut it.
You went back to Dan to do it again?
Yeah.
That's how good Dan is, though.
Yeah.
And was he like, I don't know, man, I already did this once,
or he'd go right at it?
No, he went right at it.
He completely knew what I was talking about.
Do you have any songs that you've just been sitting on for years now
that you're like one day when the time is right,
like that you wrote forever ago that you're still holding on to?
I couldn't do it off top of my head.
It's just the thing that's got to happen.
What about, like, demos?
It's like you talk about the last song.
Like I love country music.
That's set around for two years.
You don't have any of those sitting around?
I've got a song called Be a Boy that I think should have, it should be songwriter of the year.
Or song, songwriter, song of the year.
You haven't cut it yet?
Yeah, I did cut it.
It was supposed to be on my album.
I didn't do it justice for how good the song was, so I just kept it off the album.
I don't understand what you just said.
So you're going to do it again?
Are you going to recut it?
Yeah.
Oh, it doesn't exist yet.
No, I'm saying it does exist.
I cut it.
But it's not anywhere we can consume it.
No.
Got it.
Yeah.
Song of the year.
Yeah.
Let's give it blindly.
One day.
I'm telling you.
I'm not a writer on it either.
But then what's so good about it and why haven't you put it out?
I couldn't do the song justice.
It's very sad song.
It's about, you know, growing up without a father.
They wrote it for me.
It's grown up without a father and I never got to be a boy because I had to be a man.
So do you think you can do it justice later?
Is that why you're still holding it?
Yeah.
Yeah.
need time to live with it.
Let your voice mature, like get a little deeper.
Well, no, I don't know if it's the production or just the vulnerability of the song's not there.
So maybe on a day that you're feeling extra vulnerable, go in.
Like today.
Like today.
You're feeling really vulnerable with that, man.
He's like, I'm just not ready, guys.
I'm just not ready right now.
The peer pressure is crazy.
Well, we want to hear it.
Now I got a camera in my face.
Jesus.
Your gym looks pretty good.
Is it all colored coordinated?
At your house?
All orange?
No, it's red.
I'm colorblind.
I'm colorblind as crap.
Are you colorblind?
Yeah, bad, bad, bad.
Did you think that was wrong?
Hey, are we in a fight, by the way?
No, you just don't text me back.
No, no, no, no.
Untrue.
You also, at times, don't text me back.
Well, then when that happens, I just, I'm like, oh, we're just busy.
And that's what I thought, too.
No, I forgot I was even going to ask this.
I'm glad you here, because I don't mind asking you on a microphone.
I wondered if we were in, like, a little fight.
Kane said, hey, come over and hit the golf simulator.
I was in the middle of an interview when I got the message.
And then you get texts and sometimes three hours happen and you're like, oh, I forgot to go back to that.
And then I get a follow up and it's like, I guess we're not friends or something like that.
No, that was Gator.
Well, what, it was something?
And then you said something like, I guess Canada are fighting.
But you also said you were coming over to play pickleball one day and you didn't, like you canceled last minute.
No need to feel bad.
No, no, no.
No, I really wanted to go over there.
But we're not in a fight.
But we're not in a fight.
No.
Okay.
Who would win, though, if we got to a real fight?
You.
Thank you.
100%.
Hold on.
110%.
100%.
Why is that?
Just out of curiosity.
No, he knows he would kill me.
He's being nice because he's a nice guy.
No, no, no.
I didn't know if maybe he was kind of scared of you.
I'd bite, though.
I'd use my teeth.
Oh, I'd bite.
I'd bite and twist genitals.
Feisty.
Immediately.
Yeah.
So wait.
Why orange?
Is that a thing?
Is it just like the color of all your stuff being orange?
It's not orange.
What color is your microphone?
Well, I know it's red because red is my favorite.
Is it not orange?
No, he said it's not orange.
It's red.
It's red.
Red's your favorite color.
Okay.
I'm done.
No.
It's red and black.
It's got an album out today.
It's red and black because of Georgia.
But Planet Fitness, it was going to be purple because Planet Fitness out of, or fitted my gym.
Oh, that's cool.
Do you have a lunk alarm?
Isn't that what they have at Planet Fitness?
I don't, but that would be funny.
Yeah, like are people allowed to grunt in your gym?
I don't know.
I wouldn't say no.
No, can't slam weights, because I feel like that's very...
Disrespectful.
Disrespectful and scary because we're on the second floor,
and I don't know how well my builders are.
Okay.
Yeah.
And when we're working out of my house, I don't let them slam weights,
I don't want to break the floor.
I don't want to have to pay for new stuff in the floor.
Yeah.
And they're just like dropping crap.
Like, guys, yeah, this ain't Planet Fitness.
Sometimes it's just too heavy, you know.
You can't do it at Planet Fitness.
You'll get kicked out.
I saw your back.
Sick.
A bag.
No, everybody, I don't know, man.
I just, I had to post some money on social media.
And then 2025, I will say I've been really trying to better myself.
His back's like, he posted a picture of him doing like a pull-up,
and it's like the best back I've ever seen on it, dude.
Interesting.
Okay, now he's telling lies.
No, it's not.
You mean his muscles?
Yeah.
Okay, I didn't know if he got a new back tattoo or something.
I needed context.
I've always been weird about that because I can't see it.
So you don't have any tattoos on your back?
That makes sense.
You know what I'm supposed to go in mirror or look at?
It is hard to even do that.
Is it?
Do you have a back tattoo?
No, but even to look at my back at all, I got moles.
And sometimes I don't even know because I have all these moles back there.
And then my wife's like, you got a lot of moles.
And I'm like, I can't see them.
Yeah, they're not there to me.
That's interesting.
What's up with your, do you want to take your Batman tattoo off?
Yeah.
I mean, I don't.
No, it's painful.
But I'm to the point now where I'm just like, whatever.
Which one is that?
What's the Batman tattoo?
It's on my chest.
But it's not Batman anymore.
It's a big hawk.
But it's not finished.
Oh, you turned it.
Got it.
Yeah.
I've had it like that since it was 18.
but I keep trying to go back,
but there's so much scar tissue
that's just so painful.
You could get it lasered right?
Off.
You know, bad it would hurt.
I used the exacto knife for mine when I had mine.
It was Superman all my chest.
I just peel it off.
That's me.
I'm just a dude.
I'm a strong dude though.
Talk about the song with your wife
because you guys did body talk.
I don't know.
Is that a conversation where it's like,
do you want to do it?
Because now you guys have a thing.
It's easy.
No, she just, I mean,
I play my songs.
She hears them.
She's like, oh, I can hear him.
Well, there was originally a girl on Body Talk.
And I were talking about getting Selena Gomez on it.
And then Kate was like, I would kill this song.
I was like, well, it would be better because it's an actual thing, husband and wife.
So you jump on it.
And you guys can perform alive.
Yeah.
Yeah.
literally a bank vault in my room.
And then I was all these creepy pictures.
Whoa.
And I was like, let's write a song called Haunted.
And then I just started talking about depression.
And then you just, do you send it to Jelly Roll?
Yeah, just sent it to Jelly and Jelly said they loved it and jumped on it.
Brad Paisley's on the record?
Mm-hmm.
And how'd that come about?
I didn't write that song, got that song, and I cut it and put it on Instagram.
A lot of people said that they heard Brad Paisley on it.
So I sent it to Brad.
or actually Dan Huffson it to Brad after I asked him
and Brad jumped on it and played the solo and everything.
Fiddle in the band, that's one of the first songs.
When did you cut that one in the whole 18 songs?
That was one of the first ones because it's been out.
So that wasn't even, that was just a single
and then we just ended up putting it on the album
and I think it explains the album pretty well.
Did you put I am at the very beginning because it's,
well, I am?
Was that like a, I'm going to put the songs as I am
because it's about me?
No, I put it up there because we've started
all of our albums with a big uptempo type of song so we ended up putting iM up there so when i
saw stay because there's some social media stuff been on what's stay didn't you post about this
yeah yeah and i think that's where i saw it at first but um the writers you and also as jennifer nettles
but because it is stay yeah what's up of that what's stay uh was my mom's favorite song uh back in the
day played it all the time i would i would just always sing it and
And for some reason, it was stuck in my head.
I just kept singing it, kept singing it,
and I'm going to sound like such an idiot right now.
But the why don't you stay?
I was like, why didn't she have that in the chorus?
And then I went back and listened to it,
and I was like, oh, she does.
So we wrote the song anyway.
And I still ended up falling in love with it.
And the funny thing was Gabe and Jackson that were on it with me.
They had no idea that song existed.
So I got to introduce them to a new song that wasn't so new.
Do you still want to act?
Yeah, I have a movie that we have set up to record with a good friend of mine.
The only thing I can really say about that.
So you are staying in?
You've already done it or you're going to shoot it?
No, well, we're waiting for the time.
And then maybe I haven't got the right information and they just said we're not doing the movie anymore or whatever.
but the meeting that I had last,
which was a couple months ago,
so we're just waiting.
Do you take acting lessons?
No.
So you're just raw dog in it?
Just raw dog.
And no coaching at all?
Huh?
No coaching at all?
No.
He don't need it, dude.
He's raw dogs.
He just goes at them.
Just go in a mirror.
It just goes at it.
Have you been here since we played that ball game?
This all ball game?
Been here?
Like, have we done the show since then?
Have you been a part of there?
I want to say I was just here
not too long ago, but not night.
When did y'all get in here?
This morning, actually.
We built us for you.
We leave and go back to the old place tomorrow.
November, I think, right?
Four months, three months.
Oh, then, yeah, probably not.
But we've been together.
So I don't need to, like, compliment your game-saving play that actually saved you.
You mean the...
Oh, yeah, we've talked about that.
The All-Star game?
Yeah.
Yeah, where Kane saved our whole team.
No.
Are you kidding?
The freaking play at Shorthop.
Yeah, but you got MVP.
Kane hit a home run over the fence.
Why didn't he get it?
Oh, because Bobby had it in the park home run.
and Bobby had a lot of diving saves.
Kane could have easily gotten it.
But Kane struck out a first day.
I struck out. Dude.
I wouldn't say this though.
No, do you need to say it?
Because I just want to prove a point here.
I want to prove a point.
Go ahead.
I struck out, right?
I've played baseball since I was three,
so I came in this game so confident.
I didn't only strike out.
This is what happened.
So the very first play of the game,
I get a pop-up right to me.
And I drop it.
So right there, my demeanor is,
at the floor. So then I go up to hit. I strike out. I'm my ass. So then now I'm in the,
I'm in the infield or no, I'm in the outfield now. I'm like, please don't hit it to me.
Please don't hit it to me. I cannot drop this. So luckily it didn't get hit to me. Well, then I went
up to the plate and everybody on my team, who was, Des, Tio, Des Bryant, Tio. They're all,
they're like, oh, and then Dion, they're like, you got this.
man you got this I walk up
I have two strikes
I'm like I cannot strike that again
Jenny looks at me she's pitching to me
she's like you got this Jenny Finch
who's like she's like you got this she put it in the
perfect spot and I hit it over the fence
and you have no idea
and I swang slow because I was like I can't strike out
it was just crushed and then made the game saving play
at shortstop that's all because Jenny got my confidence back
yes that was it was awesome and you saved the game
because they had scored like eight that inning,
and you made a freaking backhand shortstop.
It was best defensive play at night too.
So, like, is that an example of, like,
that very first play that you missed, that you messed up?
When you get knocked down, you just have to get back.
Right.
So, like, you could have told yourself a different story
and then maybe had, I mean, you eventually got there.
She brought you your confidence, but I just think that that's,
this is a good reminder.
He was feeling pretty sad over there.
I was like, dude, check it off, shake it off, shake it off.
He was like, I'm not feeling very good.
But mentally, if you let that one mistake take over, then you're done.
Yeah.
Well, it was two mistakes.
He dropped a ball too.
That's not a guy.
Not nobody's counting.
No, that's.
Yeah, it can be just to, like, tell yourself a different story and be like, even if you miss it,
be like, that was amazing.
I caught that.
You don't lie to yourself.
You have to, because then you're like, he said it's confidence at the floor.
You don't say you caught it if you didn't catch it.
Or like, you're still amazing.
What she's trying to say is you just let it go.
Yeah, I get that.
Yeah, let it go.
Bullfish.
Kane's got a new record out today.
called the High Road.
Hope everybody streams the crap out of it.
Congratulations on the new record.
And by the way,
Kane's doing a bunch of dates
starting in March on the High Road tour
and it's basically everywhere this show is,
even some of the places in Canada,
doing a few Canadian shows too, which is cool.
Start March 13th in San Diego
all the way until July.
And so always good to see you, buddy.
We're on a fight.
That's awesome.
And we'll, I don't know, do this again soon.
There he is.
Our friend in yours.

You play stupid games, you get stupid prizes.
And Rule 2, never mess with her friends either.
We always say that, trust your girlfriends.
I'm Anna Sinfield, and in this new season of the girlfriends...
Oh my God, this is the same man.
A group of women discover they've all dated the same prolific con artist.

The cops didn't seem to care.
So, they take matters into their own hands.
I said, oh, hell no.
I vowed.

Morgan. AOL was a popular internet service.
the 90s, what does AOL stand for?
Yeah, yeah.
Oh, gosh, a little yellow running man.
AOL was a popular internet service in the 90s.
What does AOL stand for?
Shoot.
I want to say it's American online language,
but I don't know why that is popping in my head that way.
AOL, five seconds?
I mean, that's all I have.
I don't know why.
American online language.
I don't know why.
Listen, she wasn't really,
kicking it when this was crushing it?
I know. So AOL
would seem like it would be three letters
that stood for something.
So, because everybody's laughing at Morgan pretty hard right now.
I'm sorry, we don't need to.
I used it, but nobody ever told me what it stood for.
Like, it was just AOL.
I know.
I don't know what it is.
Oh, is that why you were laughing?
No, I'm laughing because I don't know what it is
and American online language is funny.
I'm just running with it.
What would you think it is?
I don't.
A on,
Analog
It's just America Online
Oh
Are you kidding?
The L, I can see where the L would be confusing
If you didn't
Yeah
America Online
Our winner
Our winner is Amy
Wow, look at her
There she is
Amy
Amy wants to do a happiness jar for the show
I'm not sure what this means
Yeah, I saw Hoda talking about it
It's something Elizabeth Gilbert does
She's an author and
she has a happiness jar
That she goes to
and every day she puts something that's happy that happened to her in the jar,
just the littlest thing.
And then on days that she's having hard days,
she digs in the jar and she gets to read back all the happy things that have happened to her
over the weeks, the months, the year.
We can do that here on the show, like at the end of the show,
something happy that happened, let's drop it in the jar,
and any time we need to be reminded,
maybe it's something happy about someone specifically on the show,
or it's a funny segment from the show, like, oh, that was kind of funny,
let's put it in the happy jar.
Okay, okay.
What if it's like it made me laugh at Eddie broke his arm?
That's not happy.
No, no, no, no.
Got it.
That wouldn't make the way.
But you know, that's what the jar would turn into is my point.
You know, it's like what's your...
We'd find a way to ruin this jar real quick.
Your happiest moment of the day, or in our case, the show.
But people could do this at home too, like with your kids.
Like, put your happiest in a jar.
I like this.
For home, I think it's great.
We'd find a way here to make this the most toxic jar in the history of media.
But at home, you could do that.
So you only go into it, though, if you're having a bad day?
No, you do it.
Every day you commit to the happiness jar.
But when do you go into it to relive the happy moment?
Oh, well, it's helpful on the bad days.
You get to dig through and read through all your little happiest.
You know, it can come in handy anytime.
Like, you can revisit it or not.
You just know you have this jar full of happiness.
And then even looking at it build up because it's a sliver of paper.
Like on your low days, you can even just look at the jar and be like, gosh, wow, somehow,
every day no matter what, I've been able to find a sliver of happy.
So what if I do a happiness jar?
as an experiment for myself.
And then at the end of the month,
we'll just pull out some happy
and you guys can see
what made me happy over the month.
Yeah.
Okay, but you're not going to tell us
what made you happy?
No, and then we just pull some out.
But here's the deal.
This is the day it's going to get hard for you.
If Arkansas's participating in any kind of sports.
I'll slam the jar into the wall.
No.
Oh.
No, but that's going to be the real challenge for you
is picking out the happy moment
on a day where Arkansas has lost.
I thought that's when you opened the jar.
He could, but you still have to add something.
Even if you're reading the happiest,
You're going to, you still have to contribute every day.
That is tough.
Okay, I'm up for a jar.
If we can get a big jar and I will, I think starting February 1st,
heck it, maybe even today.
Who cares?
Yeah, let's start now.
I'll put something in and then in a month we'll pull it out and we'll see what over the last month made me.
But nobody look in it.
Commit every day.
Every day.
But you have to remind me some days.
It's fine.
You have to have something happy every day.
What if a day just starts, right?
The exercise.
Like today, not really that great a day so far.
Exactly.
It's to show that even in the hard sucky days, I'm happy the segment's that be over.
There's something you can be happy for.
I mean that works?
Uh-huh.
I think in general for our listeners, I think this is a great thing.
Even something for me, I can incorporate it at home.
But for the sake of the show, I'm going to do for one month every day I'm going to put in a happy thought.
And then after the month, we will go to it and just relive some of those happy thoughts.
Perfect.
Good, good?
Good.
Okay.
I think it would be interesting to see, like, what makes you happy?
Me too, honestly.
Yeah.
I often wonder that.
Everybody was on time.
Early, early.
That made him really happy.
Obviously, we're all on time now, but I'm trying to think of, like,
what we're really making happy is if we all showed up, like, super early.
Take your shots, guys.
I feel like this is what this is the time.
See, this is why I think it's toxic around here.
Take your shots.
What else will make me super happy?
Eddie?
Like, maybe a pleasant experience in the bathroom.
What?
Like, it wasn't difficult.
What?
Like for myself?
Yeah, yeah.
I don't go to the bathroom often.
You know, you've had stomach issues.
Like, you had a good day.
I didn't have any issues today.
So you went with Eve.
So, okay, so Amy brings that out.
You bring up my IBS.
Yes, that's probably.
This is like a way to slammy.
Go ahead.
Lunchbox?
Oh, you've got a cool memorabilia in one of your polls, whatever the breaks.
See, that's a real one.
That would be cool.
That's a real one.
You two took shots, and the guy expected to take the biggest shot.
Did not take a shot.
Maybe that's my good mood for the day.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Okay.
Thank you.
Bobid Bones show.
Bonehead.
Dory up the day.
This story comes to us from Memphis, Tennessee.
A man was mad at a dead relative, held a grudge, so he's like, I'm going to get back at this dude.
So he broke into his mom's house?
Get back in the dead dude?
Yeah.
And poured his ashes in the toilet.
Oh my gosh.
What?
Get back at the dead dude?
Yes.
I can understand, and I don't think that this is right, but I can understand getting back at somebody that's alive by dumping somebody that he loves ashes in the toilet.
But the dead dude don't know.
He's dead.
You didn't get back.
Yeah, I feel like that's wasted.
Wasted revenge.
So then is that jail time?
Is that a crime?
Well, he broke into the house to do it.
That would be a crime, yeah.
So that's part of it, and then destruction of property and abuse of a corpse.
Oh, I didn't know that was a thing.
Dumping ashes, is abuse of corpse?
Yep.
I thought making the ashes would be abuse of the corpse.
Well, that's legal.
I guess if you do that not legal.
Sure.
But a lot of times you decide that when you're alive if you're going to become ashes or...
But if I kill you or somebody kills you and they're like, hey, get rid of this corpse secretly,
and then I burn you up into ashes, that would be abusive corpse.
Exactly.
I'd never do that, though.
No.
No, I would just bury you alive.
Oh, sorry, sorry, anyway.
All right, is that it?
Yeah, I'm lunchbox.
That's your bonehead story of the day.
Eddie, question for you guys, because I never know what to do in this situation.
If you are on social media and you see a post that's kind of sad, like maybe they lost a loved one, like, oh, my dad passed away.
I really miss them.
Do you like that post?
Because the like is a heart, but that means you like it.
But you don't like the fact that that person died.
Interesting, Amy.
I think it's okay to like it.
You're showing support to the person that posted it.
I don't like it because I don't want it to be like, I like it.
They died.
I think Amy's right.
No, I think you like it and you also leave a comment, like a heart in the comments or something else.
I do.
I do.
Just in my heart, I feel it.
And I'm like, dang, I'm sending you good vibes.
Sure.
I don't want to.
You're right.
everything you're saying is right.
But you like something because you like it.
I don't want to feel like, oh, he likes my dad's dead.
Okay, I got something for him.
Right.
I agree with you.
Irrational of me.
I agree with you.
I agree with you.
I've never really thought about it.
If somebody liked it's tragic, I don't like it's tragic, I don't like it.
And they put that up and they were just wanting some
comfort. Who knows why they put it up in that
moment and then nobody liked it because they felt
weird about it. That would be weird. And then they
haven't, they're like, well, did anybody see
my post? They're like five people like this.
Well, there should be a
sad button, but only if you allow
the sad button. Like, I am sad
and support you button. Not a hate button
because that's all mine would be. Maybe for
those it'd be great. You know that the hearts
that have a bandage on them? There we go.
Like they're healing. Like, that's the option.
You could comment that one.
Yeah. And that's another one too.
Do you comment an emoji?
Yes, that's what I'm saying.
You do some hearts and like a prayer sign maybe?
I don't.
I do.
I know exactly what Eddie's talking about because I think through it and I'm like, I want to show support.
I was out of one post for like five minutes.
I'm like, what do I do here?
When in doubt, comment and like.
I think through it too and I just scroll off.
Oh.
Then move on.
Yeah, I just, I'll probably do the wrong thing in that situation.
I'm a little awkward there.
Good question though.
So the official answer is we've learned from Amy.
You can like it and give it a thumbs up.
And when in doubt.
comment and like
thumbs up under it
but just show support
I will say I do
appreciate it more
whenever they say
exactly what there is to be sad about
oh yeah sure
nobody hates a sad sack
post without any details like me
I'm just feeling so down on blue today
and there's nothing else
I will like that
and be like good
because you're not even giving us any details
so okay
good question question for the room
that's it
have a good weekend everybody
