03:34Think about that.I go back to being probably 18 years old, and I used torun a countdown on the weekends on my very first radio station. It was called KLAZ. It was a Rick D'scountdown. Rick D's weekly top 40. Here, come into a number wood. And had to switch CDs out.So the first CD would finish. It'd get to like number 20. I'd put in the CD from 20 to 10,put in the CD from 10 to 1. But I had to watch it myself. And I remember that middle CD, I was so sleepybecause I had worked the night before. I had like three hours sleep. And I was out at like a bar or somethingdoing a radio event. And I remember dream.
04:13dreaming that I was dancing with Ricky Martin.Live in Lovita Loka.That's a cool dream.And I was like in the video,ah,da,dot,oh,
04:21and that was the number 11 songthat was playing and it went offand I just stayed asleep.Dead air.I woke up and was like,huh?I probably was asleep for seven minutes.There's nothing on the air.
04:40And I just remember dreaming of Ricky Martin,live in Lvita Loka,because that was the last song that was playingas I fell asleep.And I woke up like, oh, God, I switched out of you.Nobody ever call me.No one was listening.Oh.
04:51Guess not.That was the scary and the funniest place ever fallen asleep, Amy?I mean, I don't know if it's funny or not, but there was that time I was trying to be a step instructor.I was 18.And the fun part for me was the physical part, like when we would learn routines, because it was two parts.It was that part, learning how to actually do it.But then the, like, kinesiology part, like the books part where you have to, like, study.And there's all these people there.
05:17And, you know, you're paying to be there.You want to get certified.And we were sitting all on those, like, gym floor.And I'm, like, up against the wall.And I just fall asleep completely.Which probably is why I passed the actual physical part and failed thekinesiology part and why I am not a step instructor.Dang.
05:37Wow.Dang.Eddie?So it was a party.George Strait was playing a concert in Kingsville, Texas.and me and three of my buddies went to go visit my brother because he lived there.We went to the George Strait concert.Man, we went hard.
05:52We went real hard.And I remember waking up on the bathroom floor.And I had a roll of paper towels as my pillow.Is this the funniest place we passed out?Yeah, that's passed out.Sleeping, guys.So you woke up.Go ahead.
06:05I woke up on the bathroom floor with a roll of paper towels as my pillow.And everyone said that I threw up in the bathroom and never came out.And so then they just decided to leave me there.Ew.Yeah.Is that passing out?That's passing out.But isn't that still asleep?
06:19That's falling asleep.It wasn't your house though.It was a friend's house too.Yeah, it was like, I guess where the party was.Last box?I mean, I guess, I mean, I chose to sleep here because I was in South Padre for spring breakand you were only allowed a certain amount of people in the hotel room.And so four people got wristbands.
06:35And the other three we kept trying to sneak in.And the last night, they wouldn't let us in.So I tried to sleep in the back of the bed of the pickup truck.And they were like, oh, no, you can.came to sleep on the property. So I went to an intersection and they were doing construction and thosebig cylinder like concrete. Yeah, circle tubes. Yeah. I just climbed in there and fell,went to sleep. What if they started construction? Well, I woke up and it was morning traffic. Likecars driving all around. You were homeless. I came out of the little tube and went walk back to the hotel.
07:03What honor. Good for you, buddy.Oh, Bobby Bones. So an old college friend is getting married and I don't think I was invited to thewedding because everyone else from our group got an invitation. I did not. I wasn't too upset becausewe weren't the closest, but it's not like we had a falling out. If I were getting married, I wouldinvite him because he's a good friend of my friends. So long story short, I got the invitationyesterday that I didn't get originally. But I wasn't so quick to RSVP because in my mind,I'm on the B list of guests. And he probably doesn't care if I go or not. I look at it this way.if I R-SVP with a not attending note, no harm is done.
08:01Also, I don't have to bother getting him a gift or even inviting him to my wedding one day.Am I obligated to go if I got the invitation so much later than everyone else?Oh, and I never got to save the date.What a classy move here.Signed, mad that I didn't get the invite.It sounds like he does really want to go or he wouldn't have sent this email.He's like, I don't even want to go.You were feelings were hurt that you didn't get an invite.
08:25I understand that.it sucks and not be invited places even if you're not super close but people super close to you areinvited happens to me all the time with every party no literally every party all my friends are likedid you get the invite mm-mm sure didn't they're like did you check your email nope probably in therecheck it nope not in there so i understand you're hurt a little bit but no you don't have to goif you don't want to go but i don't think you should go i wouldn't invite into my wedding and thenlater go you know what then i won't invite into my wedding you're hurt by this and that's okayyou do not have to go.
08:55You can RSVP and say not attending,but I would encourage you not to hold it against them.Also, the B list.That happens, buddy.That happens.We had a B list at ours.We didn't get to it because everybody said yes,but we had a B list,
09:07meaning they're on the border.Did?Yeah.Like they're on the border, like close,and we don't have enough seats.And when you invite people,especially if it's a specific amount of food and chairs,you have to only invite up to that point.
09:21And so we didn't get there,but we had to be.list. I think also too sometimeseven if it's not a B list they justroll out at different times and they'reyou're working on a list. Oh I don't believe thatprobably all go out at the same time unless it's likewell we got seven nose so let's send some more
09:35out. Oh. Yeah I don't think it's reallygoing on ships. I didn't know that happened. What?I didn't know that happened but if you got a certainamount of nose I just figured you just take that amountoff the list and then your head count goes down.You don't have to like fill athere's a quota. But then you may be getting pressurefrom like cousins being hey why don't you invite
09:51this cousin or what? And it's likeokay. Okay. Because we had some of that too, but I was like, we're having the wedding on our house.We have no more room. So we were able to get out of it that way. So I would also encourage you tohave Ronnie Dunn, from Brooks and Dunn singing at your wedding.You don't do it. When you have one. Super easy. Don't worry about it, buddy.They say you know RSVP, if you don't want to go, just say, hey, can't come. Appreciate that.Have a good day. But my heart says you want to go because your friends are going to be there.Go to the wedding. Go. Just go. And you're, you're, you're, don't let that hurt you. And things that
10:20stood out to me were you're like, we weren't that close anyway.Oh, the whole thing's defensive.Right.Go to the wedding, have a good time.Don't worry that you got invited second or third.Listen, they didn't even want me for this job to like fourth or fifth.The whole world is successful people who weren't the first choice.So this isn't a huge deal, but go and have fun.

No, what happened?So I was just driving and I look and on the shoulder there is a perfectly wrapped brand new love seat.
11:53You know the one with two seats and not, it's like a couch, but it only has two seats.Yeah, we know what a love seat.And so I was like, someone obviously just dropped that.Like it looked in perfect shape.Like it fell off a car?Yeah.But then why would you think you needed to go steal it if you think someone?Well, if it's just sitting there, it's for free.
12:08You take it.But they might come back.But you just said someone probably accidentally dropped it.Well, I mean, if they can get there before I do.That's the rule?Yeah, it's finder.Finders keepers, losers, weepers.And I mean, I called Scoob because it was only 10 minutes from the station and he's up here.

13:07I didn't, no, I rode my bike.Oh.But the other way.I was just, I was taking the kids somewhere to get something to eat.And I saw it.I was like, dude.Would you take them by today and if it's still there, scuba, get it for them?I don't want to be a part of it because what if it is somebody's or it's a store's.
13:23Now I'm accomplice for stealing something.If it's there for a whole day, then you can have it.If it's there today, yes, they have to go back and get it 24.Oh, absolutely.That means they forgot about it.If it's six hours, they can't get a truck, no problem.But 24 hours, absolutely you can go get it.I'm with you, dude.

14:33It's time for the good news.With producer Eddie.Tell me something good.Last week, deputies with the Pierce County, Washington's Sheriff's Department were out.They got a call that there was a dog that was hit by a car.So they go out there.They call animal control.They can't get out there fast enough.
14:48So they say, well, let's look for the dog.And they find out that the dog went down under a roadway into a culvert.It was hit, and then it tried to just escape.I guess hide.Yeah.Really.And I guess a culvert is one of those pipes that go under the road.So the dogs, the sheriff deputies hear the dogs.
15:03They say, okay, dog, come on, come on, come on, come on, come on.Dog's not moving.Scared and injured.So one of the deputies says, you know what?I'm just going to go in and get it.And there's body cam footage of the deputy squeezing in that tiny little pipe,reach is for the dog finally after like 30 minutes they get the dog out i love the story i don't like thatthe dog was hit by a car but i love the story that they went and saved the dog then so they named
15:25the dog piper because it was stuck in a pie right so then they're thinking oh my gosh this dog needsemergency surgery so they call a vet they say we can do it but it's going to be really expensiveso they're like oh my gosh what do we do so the sheriff contacts an organization called people foranimal care and kindness they say don't worry about it we'll take care of the billSo Piper got surgery.And now I just saw the update yesterday.Piper is at a foster home ready to be adopted.That's awesome.
15:50Come on.That's really good.I love that.Man, no stories get me.Those are the animal ones, man.Those are the ones that really touch the old soul here.Yeah.Like humans.

22:32relationship with all three of you individually, and then you come in and I don't know who I reallywant to talk to. So I'm just going to kind of go down the line here and talk to each of you a bitdifferently. Charles, one more question for you. And that's not really a question. It's just a statement.We were backstage, and I'm telling the show this. You already know this. We're backstage at theOpry and Charles was performing and I was performing and my wife was with me. And I believe it was Charles'sfirst time to meet my wife. And Charles, you know, he'll just say whatever he thinks whenever he's saying.He goes up to her and she's not pregnant. And he goes, when you having a baby?Yeah, I did. And she was like, the tall guy just asked me.
23:02me a really weird question.Well, I just, you know, figure y'all got married.I said, when is this baby train starting?Hillary, good to see you.Hi.You know, I was thinking about you, and mostly it's kind of your relationship with famebecause it is such, fame is weird, but for you guys, and you especially with growing upwith a mom who is in the business and had her fame and her talent, you, you guys blowing
23:32up taking a break coming back and even again you and i at a different time we're talking at theopera about you just walking out of target and somebody being so surprised they saw you just walk outa target what is it what is fame to you and your relationship with it now what have you learnedabout what it means to actually be famous my relationship with it has changed over the years ithink then that's natural i mean we're 15 years 16 this summer and to being a band um it's a littlebit different now with kids but i think as i've gotten olderI consider it, you know, a privilege and an honor, and I kind of take the platform pretty seriously.And really, because I just want to be a good example for my girls.
24:13But ultimately, what I'm learning is the older I get, the more work that I do, the more normal my life is, the happier I am.So I'm going to go to Target.I'm going to go to the grocery store.I'm going to do those things because they're fun for me.And I love being able to engage with people who either just have.hey, your daughter has on a really cute dress,or hey, I really love that song that you sing.Like, however conversation starts in public spaces,
24:41I welcome it because it's fun.When we travel together, we get recognized a lot more.And I would say Charles gets the brunt of itjust because he's six, six, and, you know,he walks into a room or walks to the airportand, you know, he's tall.Charles, do you, you go to airport?It's not normal person airports at this point, do you?
25:00Oh, yeah.Oh, yeah.Oh, yeah.You fly.Guys, we are A-list on Southwest, okay?We, we, I mean, listen, I think the quickest way to go broke in our line of business isthink it's going to last forever.And you never know how long, you know, the thing's going to last.
25:15And it's like, I want to be, I want to take care and have something to leave my kidsand stuff.And anytime you start to figure out how much you could spend on private planes, it's just too much.Hey, Dave, we've a group dynamic here with you three.Yeah.You guys have been together a long time and I can tell you from experience myself, we've had agroup dynamic where me, Amy, lunchbox, we've been together a long time. For you guys,what has been the key? And I would not like an answer like communication, because that's
25:40always a, what's the key to marriage? Communication. All right. Yeah, I'm good. I know what thatmeans. What's been the key to staying together, even though sometimes you don't always want to staytogether. And I mean that you love each other. We love each other. But it's not like we're not realhumans and don't fight. And at times we have to because we're so close. What's the key to stay intogether over a long period of time.Honestly, I think we have such a respect for what the three of us have when we get in aroom together.I mean, we've been a band for 15, 16 years.
26:09We often play, like, the first song we wrote.And it just takes me back to that room.Like, when we walked in, something was different and special there.I just feel like no one can take that away from us.When the three of us step into a room to create something, I know we can.That's just where we're great.That's what we do.That's what we love.
26:24We feel called to do that.So I think it's a respect and a remembrance of that, which,gives us the fuel to kind of like power through the times when it's tough. Somebody's in a toughseason. You know, some of the other ones kind of, we pull each other along. I mean, honestly, weliterally have like seasons where one of us may be really struggling and the other two are kind oflike there and supportive and we're listening or present with each other and trying to lifteach other up. So I don't know, but it all comes back to me to just the respect of each other'stalents, what they bring to the table what we all have when the three of us kind of step into
26:56a room together. Here is my number three favorite Lady A song. It is Needs YouNo. Oh, I love that you're requesting because that's the name of our tour is request line. So we'regetting requests from you. Yeah. Interesting. Yeah. I love it. I'm going to request a machine gun Kelly next.Yeah. You guys have 11 number ones that I have here on the list, which is so, it's so many songs,and it's got to be difficult to put a set together at times because you want to get them all in.But I was, I didn't look at the list when I was picking my favorite songs. And what I picked here at number two was not a number one,which again reminds me of it's not always about what's number.number one that ends up lasting in people's hearts and minds.
