03:23Hope you had a great weekend.Welcome to Monday show.Morning studio.Morning.This flight was going from St. Louis to Philadelphia. They heard a noise. There was a boom and the masks dropped. When those masks drop, I'm dead.
03:49Well, in my mind, I'm dead.Yeah, something bad's about to happen.I'm dead until I'm able to live through it.I've never been on a flight where that's happened.Never.Me neither. So when I do get on a flight and that happens, I'm dead.I've been through turbulence.
04:07I've been through pretty bad.You guys have been through worse.Oh, bad.Oh, bad.Could these things fall accidentally?Yeah. So there was an issue on the plane. So they'd already delayed the flight a couple hours.
04:18This is St. Louis to Philadelphia. So the flight's delayed because there's an engine issue. They decided to take off.15 minutes after takeoff.Passengers hear what sounds like metal on metal.Oh, no.Oh, no.Oh, no.
04:31And they felt a drop from the plane, like bottom.turbulence and then the oxygen masks all came down.Yikes.At this point, I've done two things.Screamed and peed.I don't know what order, but I've done both.I've screamed and peed. And passengers were talking about smoke and a strange odor
04:48and they're hearing the grinding of metaland flight attendants, they go back, they emergency land the plane. They say everybody, get off. Now, when they say everybody get off, what do you do?Get off?You get off.Okay, you do?
05:04If they tell me to get off,get off, I have to. Well, I get my back. No, no, you know, I get my bag.No, I got a new turtleneck and I'm really...What if the 60 seconds or whatever it took you to get your bag changes the whole trajectory?Like, then you, like, lose your arms. You live, but...Passengers scrambled off the aircraft, leaving their belongings behind.
05:27I just know we would all get to the bottom, we'd all go down the slide, and everybodywould look around, like, everybody's safe, and you look at me and I've got both my bags. And I'm the only one that's holding both my bags.Even your roller bag?Yeah, yeah, it's all.Yeah, I believe it.American Airlines apologize, took the plane out for a service inspection, and, oh, this is cool. What do you think after all that that they're rewarded with?
05:48Oh, $100 voucher.Oh, $12.$12.Food voucher.Wait, that doesn't even buy anything.Food where? Some passengers were upset that the airline offered them $12 food vouchers per person after the ordeal. But wait, to where?
06:03That's from KSDK.Like the airport?Yeah, yeah, I'm sure.Oh, you just get those universal food voucher for any. There's like a Panda Express in there.Nice stuff.Or is it like you get food sick if they sell snacks on the plane sometimes?I think it's probably in the airport.
06:17But $12, what's that buying?It's terrible.It's terrible.It's terrible.It's terrible.I don't want the masks to fall, man.Yeah.I'm dead.
06:26If the masks fall, even accidentally, don't look at my lap.Okay, everybody?Because it's going to be wet.Oh.What?I think.I'm just picturing you peeingAnd then I started laughing
06:38And you moved the microphone away fromBecause you pictured him peenWell I was laughingAnd then I started to chokeIt's okay to laugh on microphoneIt makes me actually feel fun hereI know but then I started to chokeAnd then I was like oh this is awkward
06:48So I pushed the mic awayI have a bunch of commentsAbout Eddie not feeling wellOh greatEddie got on the air and saidI'm just always sickWell I'm not sickBut I never feel well
06:59And then you walk through your symptomsYou got like stuffyLike bloody nose stuff.Headaches all the time.Today my eyes are dry.Like for some reason, my eyes are just dry.I can't like keep them moist. To me all that is allergens.
07:19Yeah, even like the tiredness.Yeah, because I have all that. But the blood is, I get bloody noses from having.Regardless, listeners know what's wrong.Oh, so they are going to diagnose me?They know in the comments.Eddie, number one, tired.is your low T.
07:36Okay.You do have low testosterone.I do.I mean,the blood work did say that.Yeah.Another one.Eddie,
07:41you have black mold in your house.Oh.Okay, so I thought about this.If my house is, what, two years, three years old,it's a pretty new house. It doesn't matter.Mold can show up in new houses too.
07:52Yeah.Okay.The next one,get your house tested for mold.Oh.Oh.Oh.Yeah.
07:58The next one.If you're always sick, you have a digestive system problem.I mean, I knew that. And your immune system is being attacked from radiation.Oh, no.I didn't know that. You need to eat properly and get rid of the mold.
08:09Oh, so now there's mold in me?Dude, I don't know. You're in a nuclear facility as well, apparently. You're breathing it in and then it's in your body.Oh, my goodness.Eddie needs to listen to his doctor.Okay.Eddie, remove all synthetic fragrances from your life.
08:24Scented candles, wall fragrance plug-ins,dryer sheets, perfume, cologne, etc. What, we have all that stuff?Mm-hmm.Dyer sheets? The plug-ins?So many. Here's another one.
08:36You have what's being called old, and it sucks.Dude, that's how I feel. You have old.I'm old, and it hurts. You're old with mold. Here's one.Low tea, low tea, low tea. It's like they're chanting it.
08:50It's lunchbox put that comment on there.Okay.Of course. And then you got two more. It's the chemicals in your food and drinks.Yeah.And it's the after-40 symptoms,L-O-L-L for real for real
09:02So I don't know where to start after all thatWould you get your house check for mold?Yeah, how do you do that? You call someone like a mold person?Yeah, they have mold people.Mold specialist. So, Amy, are you sure like a newer house?Yes.
09:16Because I feel like mold is like from like old water leaks and stuff. It can happen with anything.I mean, sure, I think it's more likely with an older home, but I've seen new builds where people have had major issues with moldand there's even a really popular case on social media right nowwhere they're in a fight with their builder. And they've taped up all the spots around the house where they've detected mold.Is that real, though, social media?
09:37It is real. He's a lawyer. Is he really a lawyer? They're a viral couple. They have like $5 million followers. They're legit. They do a lot of good. But they have a very dramatic story unfolding online with their builder and mold.
09:50So you won't get it checked because this is kind of your thing, what you're known for.But you could at some point. You know what I'm leaning towards here? No.I'm just old.Yeah.And it's just part of it.I think it's just your allergies.
10:03I did, like somebody's told me before, like, dude, Nashville is a bad place for allergies. It's one of the two worst places in America, Nashville and Austin.Really?Oh, really? Both of us?Oh, right.Oh, my goodness.Yes.
10:14So imagine what y'all would be like if you just moved somewhere else.Yes.Go to Florida and get on a sailboat.Amy, do you not suffer from bad allergies?I don't.When they did that allergen test to me and they dig a hole in your back and put them all in, it looked like my back was on.It was red.Back was on fire.
10:29So I did an allergy thing one time.in Austin where I got injected with something that was like going to cure all my allergies andthat's what I did.Oh boy.It was a client and now I'm good.I don't have any allergies.Good for you.She also has no feeling in her fingertips and she bleeds.
10:49And she stops growing. And she bleeds out of her ears randomly. There is an old man bank robber that is robbing banks and they can't catch them. Now the old man parts a mask.He was an old man mask. He's young. So federal prosecutorsallege that this guy is 40 years old.
11:09He was in prison.A year after his release, they're saying David Sarton Jr.robbed two Tampa area banks in August and Septemberwhile wearing rubber elderly maskssimilar to those using the Texas bank heistthat landed in prison in 2018.Huh.
11:25Do you think you could rob bankand get away with it?No.I think I couldNo I would check it nowI think I could onceBut I couldn't do it multiple timesBecause then they'd have my pattern
11:36Dude the technology they have now is so goodLike they track all the timeYeah and they catch themNo not reallyWhat about that documentary watch on Netflix? The wolf guyThey only got him because after so many timesYeah what about that guy that lived in the woods too
11:52Yeah but I think those are older onesLike now they haveThey don't give you money unless it's trackedOh wellI would just be so nervous.I would say, don't give me track money. That's in the note.Yeah.
12:03If you give me track money, I'm going to shoot you.Oh, yikes. And I know what's been tracked or not.And then there's some that they like have ink bombs, you know?Mm-hmm.They put it in there.I would say, oh, I was a P.S.No ink bombs.
12:16I just think that I could do it once and get away with it.Where people get caught as they do it once and they get away with it and go, well, that was easy.Let me do it again and again and again.and who robbed the bank once?Nobody. No one. It's something if you're successful at it, you do it again. And if you're not, well, you're in jail.
12:38I do think I could rob a bank and get away with it.When you talked about the first they thought it was an old man doing it, like, I first heardthat I was like, man, that's sweet.Don't go easy on him.Walter White, yes, like what's wrong with his life that he needs to go and rob a bank?If an older person commits a crime, you're all just like, oh, I don't like, probably going through hard times. So the two things.
12:59One, the Kansas City Chiefs, Wolfman.Remember him?Did you watch a documentary?I did.And then the documentary we watched about the guy in like the 70s or 80s?In the 90s.In the Washington State.Yeah.
13:11And he lived in the woods. And he just kept robbing.Yeah.He just read the millions. He had a whole lifestyle going on in the woods.Millions and millions and dollars. But then he got caught.Everyone gets caught.
13:21Yeah, they want to do one more.Just one more. What's the crime that you think, not that you get away with, but it'd be fun to try and see if you get away with it.Any crime.Oh, I thought money laundering would be fun. That is not fun to me.That's like, that's paper.
13:35That's spreadsheets.Yeah, but, but like owning like a business and not really owning the business because you're just trying to clean the money.I think that's kind of fun.But you have to run the business too.Dude, those guys don't care.I swear, I went into one a while back.It was like a jumpy place. And like my kids, like the machine took all their money and they're just like, ah, you know, like they took all the money.
13:53And they're like, here's 10 bucks.Don't worry about it.I was like, that's weird. And no one's ever here.and the guy behind the deskreally acted like he didn't care about anythinginteresting that excites youbecause to me that feels like the most boring one
14:05I think it'd be a one you could really makea lot of money that's just so time consumingwhat's one that like isn'tgoing to hurt other peopleI didn't say thatif you want to pick murderif you want to pick murder I don't give a crapI don't want to do that
14:17nolikeselling drugsthe people you have to deal with manyou're likefeel you're always watching behind your backRobin Banks, carjacking. That doesn't sound fun.
14:33That's terrible.Nobody gets hurt.No one gets hurt?I mean, Robin Bank, you're going to give such PTSD from that. But nobody gets hurt. But what's the one you'd like to see if you can do?No one gets hurt.Nobody gets hurt.
14:48I guess like burglary would be kind of cool. That would be cool.Yeah.See if you could sneak in, get away with it.Or like a heist, like take over an armored truck.See, that's mine. You and your buddies? You nailed mine.
14:59an armored truck because there's no die packs.Like a bank, they're able to slide a die pack in and it can explode. The armored truck, the money's already in there, so they're not expecting robbery. They don't have die packs in them.Jewelry store, that'd be kind of fun.You and your boss, a smash and grab?Oh, that would be so fun. That would be cool.
15:14Because somebody's probably going to get caught, but if you're going 15 of your boys, what are the odds that it's you?Yeah. That would be good. What about a high-speed chase?Would that be fun?Yeah.Sign me up for a high-speed chase.None of this sounds exciting.
15:30This is the adventure park they should create.I'm sure they have that experience somewhere.I don't think they do.Really?Yeah.They have like fantasy camp for baseball and for lead guitar music camp, but not criminal fantasy camp. But isn't that telling everyone that you're a criminal?Like if you're there all the time.
15:48I love this.No, it's what's keeping you from being a criminal.Yeah, fantasy bad boy.Always wanted to be a bad boy.Right. Let me just ask.Bad boy camp.Let's see.What's the question?
16:03What are the most exciting crimes to commit?Oh my gosh. No.Don't tight that in?You know, because someone's going to be like, I don't know, murder. No, I was going to ask it.I don't think that's my AI.Oh, yeah, okay.But.
16:15What?Because that one somebody has to get hurt.Oh, true.Even if you say like nobody gets hurt, you murdered someone. What if you can't murder? You're carving.What?Carving.
16:25Okay, I'm going to say.Carving on someone?a segment on crime.What in the world, Amy?I don't know what she's talking about.She's like, she's like saw.No, she's like saw.Yeah, she's like, can I carve on someone?
16:35She's like torturing people.Let me ask, hold on, I'm just going to ask. What? Here we go, hold on.That's how I feel y'all talking about.Hello, we're doing a segment on crimes, and if nobody got hurt, what would be the mostexciting crime to have a chance to do?And some of the ones mentioned are bank robbery, high speed chase.
16:52What would you say the top 10 exciting crimes?Nobody gets hurt. But if there was like a fan.fantasy camp of crimes that people would want to do.They won't even answer.I don't think it hurt me.I'm trying more time. It's not connecting for some reason.
17:14All right, well, I think we had a pretty good list.Yeah, I think we nailed it.What would be number one?High speed chase?High speed chase would be awesome. No, armor truck.I think heist.Heist would be number one.
17:24Yeah.What about the Louvre?That's what I'm talking about.Like those guys did?That'd be cool.Yeah.And then Amy's was what?Carve somebody.
17:31Carve human up.Yep.and call their parents and threaten them if they don't give youbut nobody gets hurtI don't know I know that was pretty hardAmy wants to do a hostage situationshe wants to kidnapMaybe he's ties me off

19:21Younger, yeah. And then she sings. No, no.I agree it's a good answer.I just wouldn't have gone to her.I'm surprised you know about Younger. It's a good show.I used to watch Nick at Night all the time, and it came on before the good shows did.
19:31Okay, it's so good.Show me Hillary Duff.Amy, name an actor who also sings a singer who also acts.Reese Witherspoon.Show me Reese Witherspoon.Lock the line?I don't make the list.Okay, just because they sing in the movie.

20:39I had on my list. But you weren't saving it.I was pretty important. No, you didn't pick it.You didn't pick it. You'd have picked it.Yeah.Because if you get it, you get to keep going.I know.
20:48Okay, Justin Timberlake.Show me.Justin Timberlake.Number five answer worth ten points.Good.You have 22 points.Were you saving all these, Amy?Nope.
20:59They're just...Why would you save them right now? There's no need.Mm-hmm.I was trying to think of peoplethat sing so that they're singers and they act.We asked 2,000 Bobby Bone Show listeners, name of famous singer, who's also an actor,
21:13J-Lo at 1, Dolly at 3, Timberlake at 5,Miley Cyrus at 6, Lady Gaga at 7,still five answers on the board. You currently have the lead.M&M.He's a rapper. And he acted. One movie, yeah.

21:34Last round.Lunchbox has eight points.Oh.Lunchbox, you heard the list.J-Lo, Dolly, Timberlake, Miley Cyrus, and Lady Gaga.Oh, man.Name a singer who's also an actor.Let's get it.
21:50Yeah, I have three written down and I'm struggling. If you're saving them, go for it now.Now is the time if you're saving them.No.Some people will save them.Just say it.You're making fun of me.Put them out there.
22:01That's correct.Ding.But I'm trying to think about if.If this person acts in...Five seconds.Just say it, dude.Say it.Give me Ariana Grande.
22:11God.That's a good one. She's in Falker-in-laws coming up.I saw the preview for when I went and watch Nathan Filder documentary, where she plays the about-to-be-wife of Ben Stiller's son.Oh, wow.Yeah.Yeah.Yeah, yeah.
22:26Show me.Boom.Aionne Grande.What in the...Did I have that one?Were you saving it?I really was.Good for you.
22:34I can't win and my other two are going to be home runs. That's correct. You cannot win.Lunchbox is out of the running.Eddie, you only have three points. Is that right, Mike?Three points.Yep.Gosh.
22:43I wonder if, because I have three written down here. Can I look and see if there are any ones on my list?Yeah, and I know they've all acted. And they're all mostly singers.Name their famous singer who's also an actor.Mandy Moore.Because she was an artist.Yeah, candy.
23:03She was a, yeah, for sure. And now she's just a.You're not wrong that she's.She is a singer slash actor, regardless of what happens on the board.I want you to feel good about yourself that you're not wrong. You're setting me up for it's not on the board.Or am I switching it up and you're going to get a day. He's switching it up.
23:16He's giving you this one.Dang.Show me Mandy Moore.I'm not switching it up.He wasn't.You lose.Amy, now you're the winner. There's five left.
23:24All right.Give it to me.Reba.Reba.At number four, that's 12 more points.You don't want to hear it.Hey, you don't want to hear this.Oh my gosh.
23:34I was saving it.Shut.You weren't saving it.You just didn't choose her.Go ahead.Let's see.Ryan Gosling.Nah.
23:43Didn't put out music as a guyrecording artist.He wasn't a Mickey Mouse Club.He was like an artist.Yeah, I agree.I agree.Why do you mean a hate her?She won?
23:51Yeah, I won.Does it make you feel better to hate? No, because I had all her people on my list. But Amy made me think of word.Okay, what?Who?That is the answer.Let's see.
24:00Tim McGraw.McGraw.McGraw made it eight.Oh, yeah. When he said three,I made you think of it.But you looked at Eddie's left.Did you have McGraw?
24:05I didn't have McGraw.What'd you have?I had Harry Stiles.No.Whitney Houston.No.I have Britney Spears.No.
24:12Kelly Clarkson.No.I don't have any more.Good point.First of all, Amy's the winner.Obviously, number one was Jennifer Lopez.Number two was Will Smith.Oh, duh.
24:25But wasn't he a rapper? That's why you...That's not why you do that? Why do that? Why do that? Why did you say rapper? He's a rapper, not a singer. No, because Amy guessed after that, too.
24:36Yes, Eminem.Oh, 50 cent.Nah.So, Will Smith at two, Dolly Parton and three, rebate, four, Timberlake at five,Miley Cyrus at six, Gagat, seven, Tim McGrath, eight. We got nine and ten. This, number nine's dead.Chris Christofferson?
24:52Number nine had great hair.Elvis.Yes.Dang.My next one was going to be, number nine stole a lot of music from black artists.Okay, Elvis.Elvis, yeah. And then number 10 is alive.
25:08Ice tea.Number 10 is also, I think, engaged.I don't think they got married to another celebrity.It's kind of a weird couple.Billy Bob Thornton?You're close.Kevin Bacon?No, go back.
25:23Say your other one again.Kevin Coznor? No.Say your other one again.I said Billy Bob Thornton. You're close.Billy Corgan. It's not smashing pumpkins.
25:32Billy.Bob.Idol.Idol.No.Billy.Carrington.No.
25:39Who's another Billy?Billy Gilman.This person played a dad to his real-life daughter in a show.Oh, Billy Ray Cyrus.Bill Ray Cyrus.Dang, I got Miley.Oh, yeah, they're both on the list.That was a fun game.
25:55There you go.Amy, congratulations on your victory. My name is Jeff Klompz.I'm an Ontario grain farmer. The pride for me is knowing that I'm producinga sustainable product that we can grow every year and help ensure the Ontario families get thebest possible products that they can on the grocery store shelves. If there's a million times more digital intelligence than there is biological intelligence,
26:21it's hard to imagine humans being in control in that scenario.I'm Walter Isaacson, host of the new podcast, The Builders.Right now, we're living through an AI arms race.So I went directly to the people shaping that future.Elon Musk, Dario Amade, Alex Carr, Faye, Faye Leap, Allmer Lucky, because I wanted to understand what the most consequential builders believe, what they fear, and where they think this is all headed.Silicon Valley is always saying the cliche thing about the way to predict the future is to create it.
26:56Well, yeah, it's up to us.But when you say us, who's us?Is it 400 people that you know in Silicon Valley? Is it me down here in New Orleans? They're brilliant, controversial, and they're already shaping the future. The question is, whose imagination do we want to live in?This is going to determine the fate of nations and economies and the future of humanity.Listen to the builders on the iHeart radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
27:28I'm Hamza. And I'm Martin. And we're the hosts of Out of Character. It's a podcast.I know there's a lot of them going around. But why should you listen to ours?Well, we're only the best podcast in the entire world. And we talk about pretty much everything under the sun.

29:02He looks and he goes, you don't look like you suffered an eating disorder. It's a great, but looks too ethnic. It's a story the Miss America organization really doesn't want us to tell.An exploitation of our Miss America's is treated by the Miss America organization as an attack on Miss America itself.Listen to the curse of Miss America on the Iheart radio app, Apple Podcast, or wherever you get your podcast. There are thousands of podcasts that can tell you how to better yourself.Get Worse with Kyle Prue is not.one of those podcasts.
29:44So if you're interested in getting thinner, going to therapy, starting peptide, setting boundaries, taking supplements, making your better getting closure, then I would humbly recommend other podcasts. But if you're interested in blackmail, love bomb, and cloning yourself or getting revenge, then we've got a little something, something for a dastardly individual like you.Take a listen to some of the incredible advice we've given so far.Fake a back injury.Get the spray tan.Up your alcohol consumption.

30:25Do not preserve relationships. You don't need them. You only need one thing, and that's the Get Worse podcast.Listen to Get Worse with Kyle Pruh on the IHart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. You got some thieves that'sstole an entire ATM, respect. That's so cool. You got to do two things.
30:47One, you've got to steal the ATM.That's hard. Then you got to get back and do whatever the ATM.You've got to get the money out of it.They've got to break into it.Police say that's what happened when a blue jeep smashed into a buildingand then three people get out, unhooked a money machine, and loaded it into a black SUV before speeding off.
31:02Like, don't do that. That's against the law.I don't like it, but respect because you guys, you set a real big goal and you went for it.So it has to be one of those smaller ones in the convenience store. No, it can be any.No, dude, the ones now in the drive-thrus or like the banks.Oh, not that one.But the one that you just normally would walk up to.
31:21Yeah.The one that says ATM, like generically.Yeah.Those are smaller. That's what I consider a normal ATM.Okay.ABC 7, Chicago. But what if you saw that?
31:31Wouldn't that be cool to see? That would be awesome. Some people crashing into a store and trying to steal an ATM.I don't think I want to see that.Or if you just see an ATM hanging out of the back of a car or pickup truck, you're like, that is awesome. You're not calling 911?Are they armed?I probably would call.
31:45For sure.Yeah.But that still would be cool to see.I feel like that one's a victimless crime, so I'm not worried about it.You stole someone's property. And then the store owner has to pay for all the damages. The whole store being crashed into.Well, that's not a good answer.
32:00They have insurance.Because when someone hits your car and just goes, well, he's got insurance. That's true. That's different.Because it's you.Well, no, because they don't have to pay.pain thing. I'm assuming someone running a gas stationif they have their own individual gas station
32:15that they're not banking on billions of dollarsthere. And now their station has to be shut down for a bit.Okay.I don't want to see it anymore. I'm talking about. I've guiltedmyself. What if it's just in a parkinglot and they rip it out?Like a drive-up ATM.
32:32I'm telling you, those are, look like they'rejust made into the ground.I know, but that one, victimless crime? I don't want to sayvictimless crime because it's stillI'm all right with that one.Hey, ish.I'm okay with that one.
32:46It depends who owns the ATM.Ish, ish,Ray, give me a voicemail number three. We've known calling with a question.I was listening to the Monday's telling me something goodand you talked about how you guys producethe best 90s series that you have going onand how Kevin wrote it, you spoke it,
33:07it went back to Kevin for editing,Abby fact check, Mike, listen to the whole thing.I'm just wondering, and I wonderif other people wonder this too. What's Mike's work day like or what is Abby's work day like? When they work on you, they work with you in so many different areas, not just the main show.I want to know about Mike and Abby what their days look like. Love the show. Bye.Interesting question. Let's just, I'll just pick a day from last week. Mike, give me last Wednesday.Talk about your day. Wednesday is usually a longer day because we usually have a podcast in the afternoon. So it starts pretty
33:42early. I start prepping for the radio show. We come in, do the radio show, we record everythingafter the radio show, and then it's like a little break in between. What time do you usuallytake your break? Probably like from one to three. Head over to the other Netflix studio, and then I get there like an hour before we have an interview, just so I can get everythingready there, stay there until say it starts, I think last Wednesday was probably four. Sofour to five we're there. We talked for a little bit after, wrap stuff up there, get home aroundfive. Total hours put in?12? And then you work in the evening too because we email back and forth.
34:26Yeah, I'll go home, make dinner, and then for like another hour, hour and a half, get everythingready for the next day. Dang. It's a long day.Did me do Eddie's? Go for it. No, no, do with Wednesday though, because I was with, I was withMichael long that time. I was just going to put a lot of pop a shot in there.Wednesday. Last Wednesday? No Papa shot. No Papa shot. No Papa shot. No pop a shot. No. Play number, was Abby in there? I can't see her. I'm sitting on the couch. Abby's here. Yep.Hey. Abby. Do you want to share what your work day's like? Well, yeah, it's just kind of similar. Like, it's just in two parts, basically. Like in the morning, you know, that's for the day of. And then I kind of take a break in the afternoon, too. And then all the stuff for the next day's show that I prep for is in the evening. So.Kind of similar.
35:14Eddie, what's a look on your face?I feel like Mike's a little, that was a little more busier.Right, because Mike goes into the Netflix studio as all that, and then he's prepping. When she said similar, I think she just meant it was broken up into two parts.Oh, got it.Not really the intensity or the length of the work.Got it.Okay, all right.
35:29Yeah, thanks, Eddie.Eddie hating on somebody else.I know.I just, I wouldn't compare the two.That's it.Okay.Ray, hit number.I have one more left.
35:42hit that whatever I think it's five.Hi, a long time listener here.Lunchbox is not my favorite person on the show, but with all his health stuff going on,I know you guys tell him, oh, the doctors didn't say this and brush you off. They probably did.I've had it going on for two years for myself, unfortunately.I know with his canker soresors, I get those constantly as well, just its autoimmune flare-up stuff. To have him take L. Lyosine, it helps, but hopefully he gets some relief from all his issues going on.
36:12Have a good one.It isn't directly related to him saying what does doctors say. It's everything he talks about in life. There's a lot of hyperbole and a lot of making stuff up.And so when he comes in and is using hyperbole againand what we feel like is him making a story better,we just kind of challenge him on it.For example, when he says,
36:30all my doctor says is go watch YouTube videos.Never in the history of modern medicine that I know of,has someone walked in with any condition of the doctor goes,I don't know, do just watch YouTube videos. Now, I said a lot of other things and said, you can also watch YouTube videos for some really effective strategies to get better.Do you want me to pull up to email? And it says YouTube videos on there?
36:50Yes.And that's all it says, hey, just watch some YouTube videos. It says, just Google some YouTube videos. That's all the email says.Just Google some. There's no way. It's your pelvic floor.Look up some exercises on YouTube.
37:00That's way different.That's what I said.That's the same thing.No, it's different.It's not.It's not.No, literally, it's your pelvic floor.Look up some exercises on YouTube.
37:08What?That's not how you do it.How do I know.what exercises are good, which one's the right ones.Like, you can't just tell someone to go YouTube it.You're the doctor.I've had really great physical therapists say, hey, we're going to do these exercises, but you should go to YouTube. There's some really great exercises for your shoulder, for your ankle that you can do.
37:27They'd say that.He didn't tell me any exercise. He just find some on YouTube.Mine didn't say that either. It's like you can find some really good rehabilitation exercises on YouTube.Sorry, if your doctor's telling you to YouTube stuff without giving you an example, like, here, go to this YouTube video, watch it.These exercises are good.Okay, I get it.
37:45But just,I Google it, man.I just don't think that's how it was said. And I can be wrong. But knowing you and knowing my history of going to the doctor,I don't believe you just walk in and go,I don't know, dude, you tube it.Valley at the front.
38:00Leave your car up front.Does anybody else think that's how it happened?No.Okay.Eddie?No.Okay.Let's making sure here.
38:07Can you skip your own neighborhood and go where the good candy is for Halloween?A lot of people.do.Yes.Is that okay?Is that acceptable?Yes.We used to do that in your neighborhoods.
38:17It's awesome. They handed out the good candies of your neighborhood. So trick-or-trading is not just walk through your neighborhood.No.Well, for some it is, but others venture out.Like scatter and find the biggest houses? That's probably the best bet. What do you hunt for?
38:35Better candies.Like bigger house, you know, the neighborhood. So there are some neighborhoods where, like, all the houses.where all the houses are big.You don't want to go to a neighborhoodwhere some houses are big, some are smaller. You want to go to one where if it's gated,
38:47wait for someone to pull up,follow behind them. You've never done that. You've never done that.Stop it.We did that at yours.Stop it.But you could also call me
38:56and I just let you in.But we didn't.We waited.No.And I think it's all relative, right?I think you just sometimes go,like some people are going to be comingto your neighborhood
39:03when you're leaving to go to another one.Right.Like everybody's neighborhood to step upfrom somebody's neighborhood?Exactly. So you've got some peoplecoming here.so it all washes out.
39:13I think you just say that so you feel better.I don't think it all washes out.No, I really do think that that's the case.Sometimes we get pickup trucks full of kids. But why would those people that you saywill come to a neighborhood like yours when you're going to a bigger one,not just go to the bigger, bigger one?Oh, I'm not saying we've always done my neighborhood.
39:28But I'm saying you say, well, some people just go.I think it's all relative to what's nicer for you.Why would you not go to the bigger? If you're just going to go somewhere, why not just go to the bigger bigger?Well, I don't know.Because to the, that is bigger. You know what I mean?Like, I get what you're saying, but sometimes maybe they might be a little, I don't, I don't know.
39:46You know what I thought of?Like, if you know where a country star lives, like, try their house. So you get to see them?I wonder if they actually answer the door.I know.I mean, it's their house, right?Well, yeah, but they know also it's Halloween. And they probably don't want people to know that they live there.
40:03Like, I know of a famous musician. That'd be awesome to go to their house. But it's all gated, so you just have to hit the gate.Or, oh, you mean they have a gated single property?Oh, yeah.Yeah, mansion.Would you ever take your kids and hit the gate and let whomever, hello, and you go, trick or treat? We haven't done that, but I think that would be awesome, especially go to this artist's house.
40:25And what if they come out and they're like, hey, guys. What impression is he trying to do without him saying?I didn't do it well. That's not who I was trying to do.But you know an artist you're thinking about going to their house.Yeah, because I know for sure that's their house.I think if they have a gate or the neighborhood has a gate, if it ain't open, they ain't trick or treating.Oh, really?
40:44If they open the gate.So if the gate is open, just drive up to the front door?On Halloween night, if the gate is open, I would suspect they know people are going to come and try to trick or treat.Oh, that feels weird.Do you think that is?If their gates open and their porch lights on, then they're...But sometimes you don't see a porch light because it's behind a gate.Yeah.
41:01Hold on.You had to drive up a driveway to get there?Yeah, that's scary. No, then they don't expect trick-or-treaters.If their gates open, I bet they...On Halloween night, if their gate is open, I bet they're expecting trick-or-treaters.Are they in a normal neighborhood? No, no, no.
41:12No, they have a single property.Single property. They don't think people are coming up there. So do rich people like that get trick-or-treaters?No.If we left our gate open, it would be because we expect people to come up.Huh.That would be it.
41:23We know. They're also...We know to leave our gate shut if we don't want people in.If it's Halloween night, we'd probably put like a jack-lanter or something out in the frontand open the gate.Like, bring the pain.Wow.If we don't, you're aware that if your gates open, people have...
41:37try to come in, just generally speaking. That just feels weird to drive up someone's long driveway. For sure.To ring their doorbell. For sure. But do you want the ultimate reward? That's the question.Yes.
41:49So most people go to a different neighborhood?I don't think most people do.I don't know that's most, but it is common.Dang.It's common for that to happen.I don't know the number of people that are actually doing it.Are you going to do that?I've done it before.
42:04Are you going to do that this year? No.I've graduated to just, I kind of.kind of like my kids going around our neighborhoodand then me staying home and passing out candies. He says candies, plural. He says a lot of things weird. But that's because I'm giving out more than one.
42:17But candy is also plural. He also says dears. And it's deer. But it's okay.We all say stupid stuff.Guys, English is my second language. No, it's not.So I struggle with it from time and time.
42:28Yes, it is.Because Spanish isn't your first.I think I spoke Spanish early on in my life. You know way more English than Spanish. Now I do, yeah.Yes.Abby, when are you getting married?Have you shared that yet?
42:41Do we know? What did you say? When are you getting married?Have you shared that yet?Yeah, in April.I don't know if I'll show.Well, I don't know, but next year, April. Are you excited?
42:50Yeah.What have you guys done for the wedding?Made a lot of progress.Well, I'm ready to send out to save the dates.I took a lot longer than expected. Why?Just a lot happening. In life?
43:02Yeah.Okay.So I procrastinated, you know. They've been on the counter for a while. Will we get invited to this wedding?Yeah.Got it.All of us.
43:13Yeah, for the most part. The wedding wedding. For the most part, I don't know.Do we all get a plus one or no?Yeah, yeah, you will.Okay.I mean, you're married, so yes. It's kind of one of those.
43:24It's like the no ring, no ring.Oh, shoot.Oh, Amy.Oh, no, I didn't think of it.Sorry, Amy.Chase can't go.Yeah, sorry.Hey, things could change by then.
43:35That's true.So I can slide into her DM.So Abby says Amy plus one, possibly.Oh.What's been the hard to save the dates? You guys spend a bunch of money on those?I mean, kind of, yeah. They're oddly expensive.
43:48Yeah, they are.And then all the stamps and everything. So, oh, would it be weird if I just handed you guys yours?No.No.That wouldn't be weird.I'd like to get mine in the mail. No, I would rather it be handed to me.
44:00That way I get it.Okay.I'll do that. You'd have like a bird flying out of yours or anything? No, no, it's nothing special. It's just like our picture.Did you handwrite on the envelope?Well, I kind of have a question about that. I kind of want to handwrite it. It's just a lot easierjust to get it done. That's something I can do tonight. But is that tacky?
44:22To handwrite the address.I don't think so at all. Like I wouldn't, I guess my question was, some people will like hirea calligrapher or something or get a sticker.Yes.I don't know what's considered classy. I know what a calligrapher is.I know.We hand wrote on ours. And no one gives a crap.
44:39Yeah, nobody cares. Can we read your handwriting, Abby?Well, yeah, I'm going to do it super nice.I bought these like felt tip markers and I'm going to try, but.Cool.Not that great. And you have fair handwriting, good handwriting?Yeah, if I write really slow.
44:52Are you going to write incursive? No, no, no, no.Probably not that.I don't think so.Well, with us, you can just put our first name and hand it to us.Okay.Don't worry about that. And then no one's going to judge you if you handwrite your save the dates and mail them out.
45:05They won't.No.I just think it's easier.Yeah.I'm like printing it and...Yeah, no.I think Amy should get a plus one.Just saying.
45:14I know.I didn't think of...No, it's okay.No, you shouldn't.Do you have someone for that?It's in April.We don't know.Are you guys still going to be together?
45:23We don't know what I have going on now or then. No, we do.We know you're dating.Abby, was Amy's not a plus one, though?Yes, she said no ring.No.But she didn't say you specifically. But I'm the only one without a ring.
45:35Right. On my list, I basically had everybody plus one.Even 80.Yeah. Oh.Oh. Okay. But what's the saying? No ring, no.Ding.I mean, but I trust. She said, she started to say like there's some saying. No ring, no pain. It's bring. No ring no bring.
45:53Oh, that makes sense. There you go. That's cute. No ring, no bring. But I trust Amy, she's not going to bring some weirdo.Oh, no. I don't know, guys. This is a time of exploration right now.How about I meet him first? Is that okay?Abby wants to interview Amy.
46:10That's a wedding.Abby, is your wedding in town?Yeah, it is.Okay, good. How much do you have done if 100% is you're having a wedding tomorrow?Where are you?About 70%.The next thing is picking the catering.
46:23And so the next part is we get to go to a tasting. So I'm excited.Wait, did she say the exact day in April? She didn't on the show. You can probably ask her off the air.Cool.Get paparazzi away.Do you want salsa for the wedding or anything like that?
46:36Wow, that would be a nice touch.Oh, my gosh. That would be awesome. Are you going to sing at your own wedding?Oh, my gosh.Okay, so.Oh, no.Do not, Abby.
46:44Don't, don't.That was supposed to be a no.That was a joke.Bobby made a joke and you're actually saying.No, I'm asking.She's a good singer.Maybe she's writing a song for him.Oh, my God.
46:55That would be awful.I've gone back and forth. It's still a little undecided. But as a kid, my dream was to sing.At your own wedding?Yeah.Okay.So, hold on, everybody, everybody, take a breath.
47:08Did you know that? No.You were just being funny.No.Abby's a good singer.No.Abby, so what was your dream as a kid at your wedding? It would be to sing.
47:18Like a love song to the groom.Do it.Like one.So the one in particular was Valentine by Martina McBride.Yes.Like you're all I need my love.Keep going.Okay, hold on.
47:32Everybody quiet, please.No, I just did it.Just amplify it a little bit.But I get nervous.If you think you're nervous now, wait until your wedding.Give us a little bit.Go ahead.I just did.
47:44Okay.You're all I need.My love, my Valentine.That's good.That's not bad.Okay.I felt that.See, but I get nervous just like that.
47:54And so then I will just obliterate it.Well, we've got about seven months to get. We've been working with her for two years.I want you to sing your wedding.Abby. This will be the most viral moment ever. And that's why I don't want to.So in your mind, are you in your wedding dress at the altar looking across at him going,You're all I need Valentine.
48:14No, I think it would be at the reception. You know, everybody, after everybody's dancing, kind of like the first dance. That's a little easier to take it.No, no.I got a question. So is he just going to stand there in front of you while you sing to him and we all sit down?Or is he at the table and you're just like on a stage singing and he's down there?Ooh, what's the least awkward?
48:32Or are you dancing with him singing to him?Or are you dancing on him?Yeah, headset microphone. All of this sounds weird now, so I don't know.I haven't pictured that.Oh, my gosh.Should Abby sing at her own wedding to her fiancé, soon-to-be husband?I vote wholeheartedly 100%.
48:49Yes.Amy.Yes.It's been a dream of hers.Since she's a kid.Yep.Eddie.Abby, please do this.
48:57Yes.I want to see it.Your sounds rooted in something other. No, no.So you can laugh. No, it's not true.I would love for your dream to come true, Abby.Lunchbox?
49:07I have been shifted.I was jaded before.I am all on board for this.Bring it on.I don't think he's that jaded means.I don't think that jaded means.I was like, no, no, that's a terrible idea. This is the best idea Abby's ever had.
49:22Oh, my gosh.Sing.Sing.Why do you want her to sing?record it. Oh, I will record it. You guarantee it. That's going viral. Abby, it's your dream. You should do it. Oh, boy. Well, yeah, we'll think about that. It's your wedding, Abby. Also, weird to sing a Valentine's Day song, though, at your wedding, huh? That's a love song.I know, but aren't all Valentine's songs, love songs?
49:46Well, it's one that I was singing in, like, fifth grade. Then let it rip. Don't let me take you away. I just heard Valentine.I didn't know what, like, love, you know. I was like, oh, this would be so cute. Then do it. You should do what your dream is and not let anybody remove you.from the scenario that you've created and can accomplish.Or I'll just maybe write a song.Oh, my God.That's even better.
50:08That's even better. Yes.Yep.I vote for write a song.Do it.And play guitar.Oh, okay.Now that's just no.That would make everything.
50:16Abby, does your fiancé sing?No.Okay.He's learning guitar.Hey, he could play guitar.Oh.For himself? No, no.
50:23No.No.Now it's getting awkward.Okay.What are you going to sing to with karaoke music? No.Oh, I'd get someone.Or the band.
50:32Are you going to have a band play? No, DJ.So karaoke music.Oh, yeah, yeah.Yeah, but she could have, for her thing, she could have a guitar player.Abby, do you want me to bring my karaoke machine?Yes, yes, yes.Yes, yes.
50:43Yes, I hope yes on that too.So we have Abby with a karaoke machine singing to her husband, Valentine, at the reception. Is it at the reception or during the ceremony?I would rather be at ceremony.Oh, why?I would rather. But why?Yeah, yeah, yeah.
51:01I think that's when the love is the purest when it's all about the connection between two.At the reception, people are drunk.Yeah, that's what I was looking forward to.You've already doing it.In September, you've already danced to that.Yeah, that's a good thing, though, everybody's drunk and I sound better.Do it at the ceremony. My vote.
51:19Okay.Well, we can't wait. Can't wait to get our save the dates because this is a date I'm now looking for it.Oh, no.Okay.Ready to lead change in healthcare?earn your master of healthcare management at the University of Niagara Falls, Canada.Build a strong foundation in policy, finance, and leadership through a comprehensive curriculum.

56:16You don't need them. You only need one thing, and that's the Get Worse podcast.Listen to Get Worse with Kyle Prue on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.Come on, then.Bobby bones.Hey guys, I just did an interview for summer camp I wanted to work at.And one of the questions that they asked me was what's something that I would do differently than how my parents parent's parenting me.And so I'm curious.
56:42I want you guys think about what your parents, what would you say about your parents? And then what would you think your kids would say about you?Okay, let's do our own parents. What would you do different?Wait, I don't understand. So you may have to go first. What would you do?No, because mine's going to be like exist.
56:56Oh.That's why I didn't want to go first.Yeah, Amy.Like, what would you do different than how you're, you know, your parents parented you.Yeah.Oh, I try to emotionally be there for them.Good.
57:06Keep going. So later in life in therapy, and then I had my parents, I had great parents. So this is not, but I, emotional neglect is a thing. They didn't have space for that because of how they were raised and some of their stuffthey never worked through. And so while they, I mean, my dad wasn't necessarily very present, but my mom was, but shewasn't emotionally present.and I didn't know emotional neglect was a thing.
57:31So as an adult, when I'm trying to figure out all this stuff, that's something I had to realize. And so with my kids, we talk a lot about feelings.I try to be there.I express and show feelings.Like my dad left when I was nine. And for another woman, I know my mom was hurt.I never once ever.
57:48That's just one example of something hard she went through.I never saw her cry, ever, never saw her cry.And until her final days when she had cancer, and it wasn't even over the cancer. It was over a bill for the cancer. And that like our family friend and her boss, like my sister's father-in-law,was like, hey, don't worry about it.
58:10We'll cover it.And that's when she first like got emotionaland choked up.So like she was very blocked emotionally.I think too, not to defend parentsthat are the ages where our parents would be.There wasn't really, there wasn't the knowledge of.I agree. I don't have any
58:29of being there and aware. It was just like work hard to give your kids the best life possible.Yeah, I don't have any hard feelings about it.But that is absolutely something I try to do different with my kidsis so they feel safe with their emotions and they see me.I mean, there's a healthy balance, but that's me.Eddie?I'm kind of doing it now, but I'm letting my kids live their own life.
58:53meaning like if they want to play sports, they want to do whatever. You guys stop snickering. Let him finish. But he's like, let him finish.I'm not lying. Go ahead.I support them in that and I let them do that.I take them to their practices.Violin?Violin?
59:08We do it.You didn't want to let your son play violin. But we do it.You know what?We do it.When I was growing up, we lived my parents' life.Like, we go to school, we get out of school.Where are we going?
59:19Oh, we're going to my friend's house and we're going to have a party and you're justgoing to hang out with their kids. That was my whole.life. I'm going hunting. You're coming with us. Okay. I never got to choose what I wanted to do in my life.Friends would invite me over? You can't do that. We're going out of town. Oh, okay. So now I let my kidskind of live their life and I helped them live their life. I think it was rude to snicker at you before you evenrude. Did you snicker? I snickered. Why? Eddie does he brought stuff in like lately. But he lets him do it. Even though he complains about it. He lets them do it. No, no, because his wife made him let him do it.
59:53Whatever the case, he could also still say no.I don't have to defend you.I don't need to defend you.I take back my snicker.I'm sorry, that was very inappropriate of me.I mean, what do he want to join?Man?And you're like, no, you're an athlete.
01:00:04A violin. But he's playing violin. But he's playing violin. And he also chose to be an athlete, too.Like, that was his choice, not mine.Okay.Lunchbox.Nothing.
01:00:12It's nothing.Oh, because he does everything like.Yeah, yeah, yeah.Whoa, hold on.This is going to be hard for me to say.Go ahead.Oh, wow.Are you going to get emotional?
01:00:21Are you going to cry?No, but my parents were amazing. They did everything great.I loved everything about my childhood. They treated me, they gave me freedom. They were there for everything.Any event I had, my parents were there. So I would say absolutely nothing.
01:00:36I want a parent just like my parents. They were phenomenal.Boom.That is so cool.Like phenomenal.I don't even know what that's like. But then why is he so angry at the world?I don't know.
01:00:47Because his parents were angry at the world. But he had the most well. They must have been. You don't know that.Childhood was so well adjusted.Like it was, like you said, Candyland.Yeah, so like what gets? And they're so angry at the world all the time.
01:00:58I don't know what the issue is.Were your parents angry at the world? My parents were phenomenal.I'm just telling you, like, they were so good at everything. They let us do what we wanted. They never, you know, harped on us.They never yelled at us about, oh, this or that.I mean, if we got in trouble.
01:01:14But they were present.They were there.They did everything.They worked hard.They were phenomenal.That's great.Best childhood ever.So that's what my kids are getting.
01:01:24Best childhood ever. But what do they want to go to Disney? Not doing that. His parents didn't do that, so he's not going to do that.I wanted to go places and my parents are like, we're not doing that.Yeah.I like your answer.Which I think you can still create an amazing childhood without going to Disney.
01:01:38I don't know.I'm not sure about it.I don't know.Yeah, mine's going to be.And I said this whenever we had a baby, someone said, hey, what is your success of,what is your definition of a successful parent?said honestly being present that's it I didn't have being consistent and present because I
01:01:56didn't have that and also I'm not going to do drugs yeah those are the two things that I wouldchange differently no drugs mm-hmm I'm stopping drugs today I've never done drugs somebody at leastgoing to tell the new listeners I'm kidding yeah yeah yeah you're kidding drinking like I'm neverdrink not gonna drink yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah so no drugs I'm gonna be there most of the timesometimes I got to go away but I'm gonna be backSo that would be my answer.Thank you for the voicemail. You guys can leave us one anytime.
01:02:25877-Bobby.It's the anonymous inbox.Anonymous inbox. There's a question to be high.Hello, Bobby Bones. My daughter wants to dress up as dead Dolly Parton for her school Halloween dance. She says everybody else is going to dress like Dolly, but she wants to do something Halloween and different.
01:02:54It's still Dolly's signature look just with zombie makeup.no blood or anything graphic.I think it's disrespectful.But my daughter says it's just a Halloween costume.Am I being too sensitive?What do you think?Signed, Jolene's mom.I don't think it's disrespectful.
01:03:09I think the reason you think that's because it's recent.I think if you gave it another year, you wouldn't feel that way.I don't feel like it's disrespectfulbecause she's not doing it.Like her heart is not disrespectful. It's Halloween.Your thoughts.
01:03:24Yeah, it's a little morbid.but I don't thinkDolly would hate it.Good point.So I think it's right.You're right, I don't. But I thinkshe would probably be like, oh,that's a cute idea, darling.
01:03:38Yeah, but it's Halloween. You do a lot ofdead celebrities.I also don't think Dolly would hate it.So that's what I'm basing it on.It's just my, what would Dolly do?And I don't feel like it's being done out of disrespect.Correct.You don't like it?
01:03:51I think it's too soon.I think it's too soon. You want to do Zombie Elvis?Hey man, he died a long time ago, right? But Dolly just died, guys.I think that's fair.It feels weird to me.Weird's not always wrong, though. No, you're right.
01:04:05And I can't tell you right now, honestly, how I think Dolly would feel about it, you know, because I don't know. But I can.I can tell you how I feel.I knew her better than you guys did.But you don't know if she would have liked it or not.I know, but, I mean, I feel like I could guess a little better.I don't like it.It feels weird to me.
01:04:22But that's also fine, too.You can not like it.Yeah.I was just thinking like if she wanted to do something really inappropriate like you know like sexy dollyyou know that works too that's fine that's better than dead dog no no no no a kid no oh noyou didn't say that you just changed up the costume I just thought you meant in general no no for the kid like thatwas yeah no sexy anything in kid at a school yeah no dead dolly's better yeah no sexy anything atschool right yeah that's inappropriate okay but what about it's a work event you're being sexy dolly
01:04:51well that's fine dolly was sexy too wait butIt's okay to dress up if she's...At a work event.Like Bobby's saying for me?You're saying you're picking a version of Dolly. She has died, but you're picking a version of Dolly.Right, right, right. So you're going to go...
01:05:06And also, Dead Dolly is not really Dolly that died, Dolly.Dead Dolly's kind of a cartoon character Halloween version of that. You know what I mean?Yeah, I know what you mean.Just feels weird because she'd just die.But what if you did Dolly last year when she was alive, but you did a dead dolly?Okay, that's okay, because she's not really dead.but she just died.
01:05:26So, like, the fact that you're doing Dead Dollyfeels like you're kind of making fun of the whole situation.I don't think you're making fun of.I think you're Halloweening it.I get it. I don't think you're wrong.Like, for some reason, I feel weird about it.You can feel weird. And people are going to feel weird. That's what I would say.
01:05:41That's the only advice that I would give you.Do whatever you want to do in this.I don't feel like you're disrespecting, but people are going to think it's weird. And maybe, like, Eddie, be a little sensitive.A little pee-p-pee's a little peepie sensitive. All right, there you go.Thank you for the email.
01:05:53Close it up.Shit.Quentin and Huntsville is on right now.Quentin, you're on the show.What's up?What's going on?Good morning, studio.Morning.
01:06:03I got a question. You know how we do feel good Fridays and tell me something good and all that?I love listening to that in the morning. But I do have one question for lunchbox.Do you always have to have something better that you've done than the thing that you've said that morning?because it seems you've always got to, you know, one-up the spill of the day, I guess you could say.So regardless of what we say, he's got to have a better story?Right.
01:06:33Yeah, yeah, yeah.I've heard you do that.I literally have no idea what this guy's talking about.I've heard Eddie do that, too.No, just lifeguard stories. That's it.Well, that's you doing it.But I'm more relating to the lifeguard.
01:06:44Hold on.Why are you tagging Eddie?Yeah. The guy normally asked you about lunchbox and you turned your sights on Eddie.Well, that wasn't an attack.I was saying it's not.A little aggressive toward Eddie out of nowhere.Amy.
01:06:55Hey, Quinn, it's early in the morning for Amy too.Hey, I was not being aggressive towards Eddie.I was saying like, we might all. You're protecting your lunchbox?Oh, he's sensitive to luncheon.Actually, no.Ew.But Eddie does do it.
01:07:08He brings up his lifeguard thing.I do too.I relate.Whenever there's a story that I relate to, I talk about my experiences.It's always better.Or like you've done more.Are you?I mean, I don't.
01:07:20know that it's that. It's just that, like, can he give me an example of when I've done that?Great question. That's where we should have gone first.Because I'm like, instead of Amy attacking Eddie and all of, yeah, because I'm very confused.Quinn, so on the show, even like Friday of last week, whenever, what do you got? Do you rememberlunchbox saying anything specific?Wasn't that a story about how whenever he was on Facebook marketplace, always complaining aboutpeople how they would, you know, message him wanting something and then all of a suddenback right out of it and then he would, you know, basically call him out and get all upset about it
01:07:59and talk about how he would never do that. If he said he would do something, he's going tostick to it because he's a man of his word and this and that.I mean, sort of. He had a Gemline Facebook Marketplace and then some listeners hit him upand he's like, I'm too famous.I don't need listeners coming to my house.Like, that happened. But it wasn't that listeners coming to my house. It was the way they approached it.
01:08:23They said, we need to see it.And I responded, and I said, here is a picture of it in the box. It's not out of the box.So there's nothing to see.And they responded, but we need to know like what it looks like. And I sent him a picture of what it looks like put together from online. And they said, we still need to come to your house. And it was like, all right, no, this is weird.
01:08:44And then they go, I feel like you're scamming us.I was like, no idiots.See, there's no need for idiots.Disconnect.Well, I mean, they were being idiots. They didn't want the gym. They wanted to come to my house. Then they were going to say, no, we don't want it.
01:09:00Quentin, could it be his just general tone that you have a problem with?Well, maybe.Yeah, I think he could maybe, you know, pull up and be a little bit nicer on a lot of things.Yeah.Okay.That's fair.but let's not forgetEddie does it too
01:09:14Thank you AmyThanks for reminding usYeahYou doNo problem guysI just like to call itLike I see itI think we all do
01:09:21I have really triedOver the last couple yearsTo not be a one-upperBecause I thinkJust generally that would happenYou go oh that's coolAnd I'm not trying to do it betterYou but I have a story too
01:09:30And then you just try to be more entertainingOr at least as entertainingIn your case you're relatingYeah yeah but I just haveI'm tryingLike I'm conscious about not doing thatYou've never been a one-upper.I don't know.
01:09:43I think I was at a point, inadvertently a lot.I see it as relating.Okay, well, that's nice. That's nice to be.Dang, she's nice to me.Amy's like in a weird mood because I'm trying to attack myself and Amy's like, no, no, no.But to Eddie, Amy, how am I not relating to the lifeguards?
01:10:02Quentin, you've hit a nerve here in the studio. It's not just lifeguards. It's donating things.Like, oh, one time I walked from.West Virginia to TennesseeRelating. He did, hundreds of thousands of dollars.I know, but it's like the shine
01:10:16to me on the story, and then it's like, well, look how much money I raised. That's a great point, too. That's a great point, too.Quinton, thank you for the call.I'm so happy you called us.I hope you have a great rest of the day at work, and we appreciate you listening, man.Thank you, man.
01:10:29First time caller. I love the show.Call us back, Quentin. We loved it.Appreciate it.All right, see you all. It's a Bobby Bones show. Now the morning, Corny. The Morning Corny. What do ghosts put on their bagels?
01:10:46Scream cheese.Scream cheese.Good job, dude.You got it.That was the Morning Corny.Cheated a little bit, but...How?Oh, it's not investigative.
01:10:59Yeah, I just didn't have it came to me.And it's fun to try to figure out.Yeah, I like to warm up before we get to Thursday.Oh, okay, this is a warm.I'm fine with that.Hey, Ray, would you hit voicemail number one, please?Hey, studio. This is Ryan from Oz.Idaho. You guys had a segment about your album in high school, driving your first car.
01:11:16My first car in high school was a 1980 Z-28 Super Sport Camaro, and the song that, or the albumthat brings me back is Nickelback, all the right reasons. The song is Animals. And that bringsme back every time just driving on the highway, going fast as I want. Anyways, love the show.Appreciate that. First car of mine was an 88 Pontiac. No, no.88 Subaru. Pontiac was second. It has a piece of crap.Subaru?Yeah, but they weren't granola.Oh, there was that tiny red car I bought for like $300.
01:11:51Okay, okay.So it was an 88 Subaru. I don't even know what the name of the car was.And it worked for about a year and a half, and then it obviously died. You paid $300 for a car. You're going to get $300 worth of car and that's it.That was my first one. You, first car?1986 I think sometimes I think it's 85 but 86 Ford Bronco full size how'd you get that red big tires
01:12:19how did I get it my dad surprised me with it uh somebody was selling it right by my high school thoughwhich was so crazy because one time I was driving to school and I saw my dad at the run text it was a runningshoe store by my school and they had it for sale in that parking lot and I saw my dad thatthey're looking at it.Oh, yeah. And I was like, I wonder why my dad's looking at that Bronco. And then on my 16th birthday, we went to dinner at Chewys, and then I went out to the parking lot,and it was in there with a big bow on it.
01:12:51Oh, that's cool.It was.I actually saw my Subaru. It was being sold in someone's front yard.Oh, you did see it?Yeah. With one of those signs on it.There was like for sale.
01:13:00Yeah.And then it was like 300 bucks. And I said, that's mine.Yeah, I'll take that and bought it.Yeah.I didn't see anybody out in the front yard, though. It really wasn't a yard you'd get in the front yard of it, though. If I shoot you.
01:13:12Yeah.It's a good car, though.Shout out that Subaru.Eddie yours, first car?1989, Jeep Wrangler.Man, you guys got cool cars.It was red.But I'm telling you, and same thing with my birthday.
01:13:23They took me to a Japanese Hibachi place. They bring out the cake and it's got a key on it.I'm like, yes!And I didn't even get to drive it until I was 17.But I got it when I was 16.Jeep Rangler, baby.I've been a Jeep guy since then.Really?
01:13:37I've always had Jeep.Nothing but Jeeps as your main car.I had a Ford Focus there for a little bit.Yeah, that thing was a true. That's because they stole my Jeep and they ripped it to shreds. That Ford Focus looked like it had been ripped to shreds.Yes.He's missing hubcaps.
01:13:53Ironically, my son drives his first car as a Ford Focus. That's what he drives.Lunchbox's first car?A 1985 Mazda RX7, no power steering, no AC.Man.I bought it with my money, $1,100.found it in the newspaper and that's how you found cars for sale and then you go look at themand they describe them it's like oh it's going to be a beautiful car and they're all pieces of crap
01:14:16and man I'll tell you what I came home with that thing and my mom was like so mad at my dad likewhy did you let him buy such a piece of crap because it had no AC she goes we live in Texasyour son's going to be driving around without an air conditioning and I mean I would have sweatcircles on my back everywhere I went that showbiz baby when you got no money you take whatYou can get, first one to find their car, their original old car.I've wanted to.Oh, mine's dead.I left it at a, it needed a repair at the car shop, and I just left it there.
01:14:47I never called them back.I was just like, never mind.It wasn't worth the call back even?Right, because they were going to make me get rid of it.And I was like, oh, I don't want it.So they just inherited a car?Yeah. You guys want to leave us a voicemail.
01:14:59Please do.87777 Bobby. The Bobby Bones show. All right.Hey, Bobby, I just had a question that I thought of from the stories you guys talk about situations with tipping and sharing money and who you share with if you win the lotto, who paid for the ticket, who gifted it, whatnot to lunchbox. On the day that you and Abby went out to that diamond field, if she had found a diamond while you were taking a nap that day, would you have expected her to share that with you?Back to you guys later.100% because I'm the ones that hey all right you're going to dig for a little bit while I take a nap
01:15:35and the only reason she was there is because I was there and I needed a driver so yes I would haveexpected her to share that diamond with me then I would have expected if you'd have found oneto take a share of it because the only reason you were there was because you were doing it as ashow bit and I had you guys go out there no no no but that's the only reason you were therealso we faked a bit where Abby found a diamond and he got so upset I remember that he got soupset. And Abby's like, it's mine. Had it been the opposite, he wouldn't have given her anything. How do you share a diamond? Do you like just break it and half? No, no, no, half the value.Oh, so you're going to sell it and then keep up the money. Got it. All right, hit the other one, Ray.
01:16:10Morning studio. This is Kyle from Wisconsin. Just wanted to give a shout out to my wife, Wendy. On the 22nd Thursday of this week is our 21st wedding anniversary, and we are both avidlisteners and just wanted to give a shout out to her. Be great if you could put us on air.Thank you. Bye.Well, we missed it by dayBut happy 21st and one dayYeahWedding anniversary
01:16:34Quite the accomplishmentThat's bigThat's pretty goodHow long are you?21That's you guys tooWowWe just celebrated 21
01:16:41WowIt's crazy manFeels like a lifetimeWhat's the secret?Oh I don'tJust stay in itHey one day at a time manAnd then next thing you know
01:16:51It's 21 yearsGot it manRomanceThat's romance right thereThat's a romance87777 Bobby.The Bobby Bones show.So you ever take fish oil?
01:17:03Yes.Big believer?I was.A two-year study found no benefit.I know. That's unfortunate. These studies, they're really messing with us because so many things that I've done for yearsor so many things that I got into, new research says, waste of time.
01:17:21And I'm like, cool.Yeah, I took fish oil for a bit.I didn't do any research at all.I was just told...My mom did it, so I did it.What were the so-called benefits that you guys thought?Omega-3s fatty acids.Unknown greatness.
01:17:36You were going to feel great.Overall, yeah.So they did a two-year clinical trial. They found that fish oil supplementsdid not improve memoryor protect against brain shrinkagethat affects Alzheimer'sdespite successfully delivering
01:17:51omega-3 fatty acids to the brain.Yeah.So people did.did this, they also had people taking placebo. They didn't know. And their brain was the same.Same.It was all the same.
01:18:02Brain scans showed that supplements did not actually help. But like salmon does.Science daily with that. That's fish.Right.I know. But like if you eat salmon, you're getting,
01:18:13salmon's good for your.Good call, Eddie. You did good.So how is the pill different?Well, it's a supplement of the actual food. That I don't know.I mean, I don't either. Are we going to soon learn like all these.
01:18:25It was like, for my brain, I want to eat blueberries, walnuts, avocado, salmon. And now one day are we going to find out does nothing. The only thing good for us was Red Bull?Oh, dang. And we never drank it.Or we didn't for some reason.I know.Collie.
01:18:41So if you take a pill that's called fish oil, it's not real fish oil?No, it is.But I think there's different levels of how much is in there. What's going to actually be beneficial?Like how much of it is actually fish oil mixed with a filler of something else?Or possibly the distilling of it.Yeah, the quality. When you make affects it.
01:19:01Yeah, that's a good point.Because like salmon, you fish it, you fish. Here we go.Amy's going to tell us now how to catch a salmon. This is why we need to be living off the land. You hire a bear, right?Follow me here. You get a bear.
01:19:16And it goes into the river or wherever they are.Sure, sure. Also, if you took fish oil for a long time,I'm not going to be a hater of youbecause you were trying to do something goodand nothing bad actually happened. If they said fish oil killed you,we're like, oh, crap, we've been tricked.
01:19:31But it makes sense.I mean, I have took fish oil for years. You just lost a lot of money, though. No, I'm not going to think of it that way.Oh, okay.Good.Thanks.Yeah.
01:19:42So whenever they did that Victoria's Secret show,I don't watch it live.I saw clips, though, mostly because of that $5 million top.Is that a brawl?Yeah.Kylie Jenner? So do you think they pay her to do that show or is that like a prestige thing?
01:20:01Good question.I know the answer.I'm asking if you think. What do you think?I feel like it's prestige.Like to be invited to be a part of that? It's such an iconic thing.Like the Super Bowl halftime show.
01:20:11Yeah.Like they don't pay you to do that. You actually have to pay to do that.Oh.You have to pay for your own set.You have to pay for all that. They don't cover the bill?Like maybe you don't get a talent fee, but they don't pay your bill?
01:20:21Mm-mm.Oh.I know.So they did pay Kylie Jenner.How much?I don't know.Take a shot.A million.
01:20:30Five million.I thought I was going high with a million. You're going to be like, why do you desk over?I appreciate you doing that because if someone says, hey, take a guess, and then you should overshoot or undershoot. But yeah, they paid her $5 million. And then she wore that $50 million fantasy brawl with 4,000 diamonds
01:20:48and a 75-carat yellow diamond.But that is quite the talent fee.$5 million.Kylie got the biggest checkand the supermodels are furious.No, they're not.No, I mean, she's going to draw.She's famous.
01:21:01Does she get, because she's walking in itis more people are more peoplegoing to watch to see her?Yes, I would not have seen it at allif it wasn't for her being in an algorithmfor wearing that expensive braw. But the story is Kylie also gotpreferential treatment backstage.
01:21:15She's the most famous person there.Personal bodyguards. She was wearing a...How much?$50 million.$50 million bra.Yeah, they just want to dohaters stories all the time.
01:21:25Right.Because they get clicks. But I was surprised, that was a $5 million fee.And you're surprised, they don't pay for the Super Bowl halftime show, the set.Yeah, that's crazy. You have to put the bill for everything. All of it.Bobby Bone Show.
01:21:38Don't head.Story up the day. This story comes from Scottsdale, Arizona.A man had a little bag of white stuff, and he knocked on his neighbor's door in the apartmentcomplex said, hey, you guys want to do this with me?they're like, no, we're good, man.He goes, no, no, no, it's part of my culture.Don't offend my culture.
01:21:58They said, we're good.So they slammed the door in his face.He went to his apartment, got his gun,and fired 10 rounds into their apartment.Wow.And that's peer pressure. That culture is weird. What culture is that?
01:22:11I think that culture is being messed upwhenever you make that decision to even do that. Also, who just goes and wants to share drugs with people you don't know?Because it's expensive, right?Drug people. No, if you buy drugs,You don't want to share them people you don't know. But if you're on the drugs, do you like...
01:22:26It's still money. What if you're naturally generous? You know how alcohol sometimes brings out who you actually are?I don't, but I hear that.Okay, so some people, you know, you may hear, like, they get mean or they get nicer, whatever.Eddie gets feminine.Maybe this person gets more generous.Dang, catching strays for nothing.
01:22:44Sorry, Eddie, this wasn't for you.But like, the more drugs they do, the more generous they get?Maybe.I just know drugs are expensive, man.So what happens? He got arrested on numerous charges.Anybody get hit with a bullet? No, no one.
01:22:56All right, good. All right, there you go.I'm Lunchbox. That's your Bonehead Story of the Day.Most people feel when they come back from a vacation that they're more tired than beforethey went on the vacation.Especially if you have kids.I think that's what it is.
01:23:11Yeah.Because I never feel that way.And like, I'm not a big vacation guy, but I still don't feel tired.Mostly, I've just been bored. But I've never traveled with kids.Yeah.Or if you're kidless, but you have a packed itinerary. But that's me, though, sometimes.
01:23:31If we go somewhere, I need something to do all the time.I don't mind that.We would travel across the world. That's true.Cop and trains.Do you sleep in them?Do I sleep in?Yes.
01:23:43See, we don't do that.Why?Children.Yeah.Okay.Yeah, I sleep.And then, yeah, jet lag.It's fine.
01:23:50but I always try to get home two days before vacation ends, but my wife will tell me,you get to leave all the time for your job, meaning I have to travel. And to me, I don't like traveling, but I have to travel this year not as much, but a semi-significant amount for my job,if I'm touring or if I'm just doing events.
01:24:09She's like, you leave all the time,so of course you want to get home. This is the only time I get to, like, leave and go on vacation. So then we end up battling it out,and then we usually settle on getting home one hourbefore I go back to work the next day.that's where I land.Which doesn't feel like much of a settlement.
01:24:22Yeah.But yeah, so vacations obviously are supposed to leave us refreshed, but more people come back tired and mostly it's because of children. What is it like traveling with your kids?Well, now that they're older, it's pretty great. When they were younger, there's just a lot to keep up with. But now I feel like their dad taught them how to navigate the airport.I don't even have to like go to the airport.
01:24:48together, but I'll see all at the gate.Like, they can take care of themselves. You don't have TSA pre-checks and they don't.So you guys go through the slow line.Right, right, right. Yeah. And he wants to like travel with four kids and a wife?Planes, we got it down.Like, give them devices.
01:25:03If it's a two-hour flight, three-hour flight, they're good, right?Cars, nightmare, dude.If we're driving, it's a nightmare. What if you go somewhere and you land and then you're going to have a vacation so you don'thave a car, but you're also not on a plane, like you're Ubering.Do you ever Uber for six?Yes.not to be able to Uber because we needed a car seat.
01:25:21But now that...Oh, yeah. And dude, if you don't have a car seat, they ain't taking you.Well, yeah.Yeah, but I mean, if you're trapped somewhere...But can you bring your own car seat and plug it in?You can, but I mean, who wants to travel with a car seat?Well, some people have to.
