I've never seen a woman put anything together. So I'm going to go, man. I put everything together in my house. You mean, in your house, you know, or something? Well, I haven't really looked around. And he doesn't walk into other houses and be like, anybody put anything together in it? Right. I'll be peeking through windows.

Okay. So I'm going to read you the story. and then we'll have a little situation here. Morgan, what's your answer, by the way? I like to everybody's answer here. Oh, I think it's women, for sure. A group of researchers conducted a study of 2,000 people. In the end, they found that,

and there's a couple things that don't jump yet. Guys are better builders, potentially because of their prior knowledge in the field, meaning they've been raised and taught how to build. Women tended to follow the directions better, but that also tended to slow them down. Guys were both more efficient, faster, and more productive than the hour-long building sessions.

So here's what I'm going to say, because they do say, guys. They said man? Barely. Yes. But here's what I'm going to do. I have a $100 prize. We're going to get two IKEA or some kind of chairs.

I hear you. But it does say in the end, they found that guys are potentially better builders because of the prior knowledge. And I think that Eddie has probably built a lot more stuff. Oh, gosh. Hundreds. Well, he has four kids and is older. So, yeah, it would make more sense that he's put more things together. But Morgan is capable.

Morgan extremely capable. Like, I think Morgan could take my car apart and put it back together. Oh, don't do that. No, I'm not going to. Okay. So scuba. Oh, but I have a question. Go ahead.

Part of this, does it just have to be put together in work or does it have to be put together properly? That's a weird question. That's what I'm wondering. No, well, but it's a fair question. It needs to work. Okay. Well, the reason I ask is because guys do put it together and they do it without instructions. All pieces need to be used.

We'll have all the rules. But yes, you can't like pull a duct tape out of your pocket and go like, ah. I mean, if she's starting with that question, she's already downed herself. No, I'm asking because I've seen, I've watched like. Eddie's the villain. Eddie's taking the roll of the heel. He didn't even mean to. the heel. No, I think she was covering any

loopholes of your point of duct tape and Eddie could just be like, oh, I made it work. It's functioning. Who cares if I used all the parts? Morgan is the face. Eddie's the heel. In wrestling, Morgan's the good guy. Eddie's the bad guy. Just how they're talking about each other. And so, sometimes you're going to root for the villain, but Eddie is definitely the villain in this.

It's like, where's the chocolate river? Right. It was like the second version of Frye Festival kind of. I feel like that's what people were saying. It was Fire Festival for Kids. Yeah. This is going to ruin the tour. If I say that, I should say it like this.

right. I probably, if it's a bad one, I probably still, if he's going to offer somebody $12 million, give her like $100,000, that would be quiet, you know? The Cincinnati home of quarterback Joe Burrow was broken into while I was playing. Remember when I was telling? Yeah. This is crazy. This is too much. So he was playing the game in Dallas while he was playing. And there were a couple layers to the story, his house was broken into. The sheriff's office got a 911 call and the person was saying her daughter was staying at the house and the people had broken in. The daughter then called 911. It said someone's broken into my house. It's completely messed up. WLWTTV says a bedroom inside the $7.5 million home was ransacked and the burglar or burglars entered the home by shattering

a window. This happened to Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelsey. This happened to a basketball player, the place of the bucks, Bobby Portis. And there's like a ring of people, they say. But it's a real, the juicy part. Because this sucks. The juicy part is like the girl, woman who was in his house. It's like a swimsuit model. And that's how everybody knows that Joe Burroughs.

I thought you just said it was his daughter. No, no, no. Her mom called. And said, my daughter's in a house. And then the daughter called. See, I didn't hear that. I was just assuming that it was his daughter. He doesn't have a daughter.

If it's bad or whatever the case, that's an unfortunate way to find out that you have a girl in your house. If you shouldn't. Right.

Yeah. Tokyo Japan will implement a four-day work week for government employees next week to encourage women to have more kids. Oh, that's the reason. An extra day for love. That's good. Or something. Well, what you could do is do the love on the Wednesday and then just have the other Friday off to do it. But also, I didn't take it just as that.

Micro-influencers make decent money. Like, it's a real thing. And so it's not crazy like it used to be like, I'm an influencer. What do you influence? I don't know. Anything. But like if the people that are specific, like broccoli, it's a real weird one. Yeah.

But it could be leggings. It could be, I'm going to go and test out. You can make a decent career if you're dedicated and disciplined at it. And so, yeah, that's it. That's that. And then finally, if you're relaxed and patient, you have a better chance of losing weight. This is back to kind of that first thing, too. The first story we talked about where it's, hey, if you're holding a secret,

Because, you know, Amy, like you always say, that book, the body tells the story. Body keeps the score. Whatever. Mine tells the story. Same thing. Mine's like a pet. Different title. Mine just tells the story.

Amy's playing games. Sort of both, yeah. Impatient people are more likely to gain weight. If you're on edge and in a hurry all the time, that tension exists. Also need some sort of outlet. So not only is a tension bad for your body, but the tension is needing some sort of like tranquilizer to chill and most time just met with food. So it's kind of the double whammy.

It's eating you up on the instant. side because you're like, and secondly, it's like I need something to give me a bit of relief, and most of the time it's met with food. And sometimes it's best it's meant with food. Otherwise, it's like crack. I'm straight to crack. Food's better. You can numb out with multiple things.

Crack is what I go. Could have gone alcohol, but crack. That's the news. Those were Bobby's B. Stories. On the Bobby Bones show now. Austin Tanner. Hey, Austin, wasn't it weird when this story kind of blew up and you were all over the

news? Yeah, you could say that. Well, so you look great, by the way. Was that your wife? It is, yeah. Great. You guys liked A-plus. Amazing. And you went to the CMAs and I hope you, first of all, did you have a good time with CMAs. We did. We had a great time. And so you knew you shouldn't have left, right? Or were you confused about that you could go to the CMA since it was kind of work-related? We had received permission to leave to go somewhere in the first part of June. We were in court in the latter part of June. And I got cast in a month. movie that was shooting down in the Dominican and we had asked to leave the country to go to be a

part of that movie. And the judge, you know, said not verbatim, but basically said, I don't want you leaving the country, but I don't have a problem with you leave in a state for work. And so we took that as we could leave the state for work. So it was a misunderstanding and certainly got blown out of proportion here. So I'm not a moron. I certainly wouldn't have went and and then posted it everywhere if I thought I couldn't go. I get even if you know you shouldn't go, but you still go. But then when you posted the picture, I was like, there must be something to this part of it, we don't know,

unless you were just so proud of how good you guys look, because then I got that too because you guys did look really good. So from when you posted the picture, when did the story start to trickle out that like, hey, maybe you shouldn't be there? I think the post went up. I think management put my post up on maybe on Thursday or Friday, and I think it came out on over the weekend or Monday.

I honestly can't remember the exact day. Were you shocked that it was a story? Yeah, honestly. I mean, I was shocked more about all the national attention it got. You know, I mean, it got picked up, I think over 50 different platforms picked it up. You know, so I was, yeah, shocked by that, honestly. Well, you look good. I'll say that one more time.

That's what I'm saying to the show here. Like, I don't know what he's doing, why he's thinking it if you can do it. but that's a heck of a picture. Like, if you're going to go down, that's a heck of a picture. Now, it turns out you were not supposed to leave. Is that correct? We assumed that we didn't have to file emotion since it was said in open court, but that was our misunderstanding. Since then, are you wearing an ankle monitor?

Unfortunately, yes, I am. Is it, is it annoying? Like, do you, like, kick it? It is. Yeah, I would think it would be annoying. Yeah, for sure. Does it, like, tell you your blood pressure and stuff or, like, an oral ring, or is it just, like, letting it know? No, that would be great.

Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, if there was an app that I could get some bottles and stuff, that'd be really cool. But no, it doesn't do any of that. So when they gave you that to put it on, what do they tell you? Standard stuff, I guess. You know, just basically just obeying the court order, which we would never blatantly disobey one anyway, right? But, you know, everybody wants to talk about that part. You know, I feel I know for a fact that we, you know, I'm going to be fully exonerated of all of this.

And I look forward to that happening soon. and so, you know, we, I wouldn't have, I wouldn't have blatantly disobeyed a court order again. You know, it was just a misunderstanding. You know, it is what it is. But people don't want to talk about, they want to talk about that. But, you know, that's, I guess, more newsworthy than all the good stuff, right? All the charities we're involved in and all the, all the things that we get to do, you know, a couple weeks ago, we raised almost $400,000 for the Christian Service Center, which is going to feed, you know, families and do some really cool stuff in our community.

they don't want to talk about our involvement with the child rescue initiative where we where we've rescued over 2,000 kids from slavery and we take care of them to adulthood. They don't talk about all that stuff, but, you know, we, that's not as newsworthy, I guess. Yeah, it's not as clickable. I get that. Another question about the ankle bracelet. Do they put it on or do you put it on yourself? No, they definitely put it on.

Oh, that sucks. Well, yeah. Because I'd leave it a little loose. And then I'd like, sometimes you go to a concert. You can't get it. You can't get it off. But, you know, it took a day or two to kind of get used to it, I guess. Because, yeah, you go to, like, even to go in at Waterpark,

and you leave your bracelet a little loose so you can pass it over to your friend. That's how I would leave the ankle bracelet, because then I would, like, slide it off and, like, hey, I'm going to head over here for a while. I made my wife wear it for a little bit, so it stays in, like, the little radius. So what happened? Why are you possibly in trouble? I can't get into it because it's an active case. But what I can tell you is it's absolutely false.

And again, I'm looking forward to a full of vindication, full of exoneration, and hopefully that will be soon. You know, the court system doesn't move fast, but I'm ready for it to be over with, for sure. Are you able to play shows at all, or just you have to play them near the house? No, not right now, but hopefully soon. Yeah. Dang. It kind of would be cool to have an ankle bracelet on them.

No way. Because nothing about me screams hardcore, nothing. I'm a geek, I'm a nerd, all the stuff. But if I was like, yeah, I can't go anywhere because my ankle brace. You would love that. Dude, I'll be so, that would be so legit because they'd be like, dang, what'd you do? And I'd be like, can't talk about an active case.

Oh, tell me, that ain't outlaw. Oh, see, I feel like you would just love it because you wouldn't have to go anywhere. That also would be the secondary reason. They'd be like, well, you can't leave the state. No, no, mine says I can't leave the house. And because I don't want to go anywhere. Okay. Yeah, being an introvert, it's not that fun.

Yeah, being an introvert, it sounds like a delight to have one of those. Yeah, my wife would love it. My wife would love it, but not me. Does it ever beep? Or does it just chill? No, it's just chill. I would like for mine to be. Just there.

Like, I'd have an alarm on it in the morning. You wake me up. I would use it from, it'd be multi-purpose. You know, it'd be, it'd be an alarm. It'd be time-take of medicine. They've got different medicine. It's not an Apple Watch, man. Feed the dogs.

Yeah, no. Yeah, oh, no. That's what it is. It's an Apple Watch. But, Austin, so it's just tracking where you are. It's not like listening to you, right? Never know. Yeah, well, I mean, I assume it isn't listening.

I don't have anything. Demos in it? Yeah, great point. I'd record demos, song ideas. I'd push down there and be like, oh, there's one about doing hard time in Alabama. Oh, man, the uncle Bryce is like that would be awesome. Okay, look, Austin, this has been fun.

I feel like you're probably a pretty good dude. I don't know. I hope the court clears you. I hope everything's awesome. And the court was like, well, we're wrong about that. Otherwise, go ahead. I've been handed this. This is what he is allegedly, all the words, allegedly. Just from the court? Yeah, yeah, court hit me up. He was indicted by a grand jury for insurance fraud and more in April. He allegedly inflated hours and rates. We talked about this charge to a condo association when working as a property loss adjuster.

He was free on a $20,000 bond pending his trial. All this was supposed to get set. settled. Okay, so we know all that. And I get it. Look, if I were in trouble, I'll be saying, hey, don't it's charity too. That's, you know, I'm sure he believes in it, but I would be saying the next to me, you know. But then again, if I'm like, man, he's out for insurance fraud, do I want to give him money? But he also said he's going to be fully exonerated. No, but I would say that too.

All those things I would say. Like, all, it all makes sense and I hope he didn't do any of it. Sure. But I'm just like, if I'm looking for somewhere, I'm probably going to hold for a second. Uh-huh. He got me believing he's innocent by all the charities involved with. Like, I would look at everything good I've done. And say it all. Like, I love more talking about more about the good stuff.

Me too. I mean, he saved a lot of kids, so I was like, man. And he probably really has been involved with it. I don't take anything away from that. But I'm saying if I were just thinking about it, I'll be like, I'm a whole tell I'd give my money to him. But no, check it out. I hope it's clear. I hope everything.

I hope it's all wrong. And I hope he comes up here one day. And I appreciate him coming on the show. But I just needed to say that because I felt that. No, yogurt. Yogurt. Is yogurt? Is that? Bob Marley, hippie, what's going on over there with your yogurt cereal? Okay. I do eat yogurt, but never with cereal. That's like orange juice and cereal.

It's a psychopath. Somebody check our computer for what she's been looking up. Okay. For sure. I've been talking about my doctor and I got a terrible stongue bug and he's like, yeah, sometimes with adults, once they get to their 40s, they can develop like an intolerance to, you guys, I want to tell you how big of a deal of this is because there are big things happening in the world.

And I could list the current events that aren't great and I'll add this to it because I love cereal and if I can't have cereal, I'm not going to be the same. some of my favorite things in life Yeah but you can use a milk like a A nut milk It could An almond milk Yeah

It's not the same guys Or like Amy said yogurt Yeah That's not an option obviously It's not the same but Okay There aren't many things worse in the world Than this

But it is a bad And I'm just wanting to share That I think I 90% Now as an adult man I've become lactose intolerant What if you take lactate Before your cereal?

Oh yeah my father-in-law See, that's the thing. Why not where it depends? You know, there's a lot of options here. We'll just adhere to the 70-year-old. I identify the 70-year-old. Okay. That means no more ice cream? That could mean what it means. You know no more cheese, too, bones. I know what it means. Losers, you don't have to keep rubbing it in. Oh, so. I've been living with this my whole life, but I just eat it anyway. You're not lactose intolerant. I am, and I eat it anyway. Wait, right, Eddie, you're minimizing what's going on with him. It's not taking it away from me. Yeah.

Because you're also not lactose intolerant. I was trying to eat a whole, but. I watch you eat a whole, No, I watch you eat a whole pizza and come to work the next day and you're fine. You're Mr. Pizza. Yeah, yeah, I do love pizza. Yes. So anyway, it's not that big of a deal except it is. If everything happened in the world, I'm surprised,

this isn't like number one on Fox News or CNN. Well, it will be now. You just announced it. Well, here's the thing, too. Like, I had to, like, strategically. You ever see that game, that Frogger game, Amy? It's an old game and you had to, like, bounce across the street when the cars weren't.

They had to, like, time it just right. No. I felt like I had to play that to get to work to, day in my car because I was going to poop my pants but I had like time I had a hurry. Get there. Jump. Get in the car. Boat bathroom.

Get, get it, bathroom. It's tough. And I did not bring an extra pair of pants. So. But you made it. I did make it. Okay.

But I think I'm like Tulsa Taller and that isn't. That sucks. And we'll get there though, won't we? Yes. Together. Hey, together we'll get there. You're not alone. There's a lot.

I was in the bathroom for like 20 minutes this morning here at work and Eddie text me and he goes, you need help. And I said, how can you help me, man? I said, just come hold my hand. That's where I drew the line. And then, I was like, you're on your own. He still did it, but from across, under the stall. He wasn't in the stall with me. I'm glad everybody is here.

We had a heck of a show. If you get a few minutes and you want to go listen to George Burge and his wife, that was really fun. His wife did not plan to be on the show today, but she was in the green room and she came in. That's a fun dynamic because as George is about to have his second number one with she only listens to Cowboys songs. We didn't care much about George.

It was about his wife. Yeah, it was cool to hear her perspective on his career and, you know, how they've gone, like taking this journey together because it hasn't been easy. And I wrote on my Instagram as I was lactoating. Is how you call it?

Yeah, yeah, yeah. That was in the bathroom forever, dude. It feels like when I left, we were in the old building. I came out of the stall. We were in this building. So I wrote as I was in there. A whole thing about George, it's like, man, sometimes as an artist, and not even as an artist, just in a career you love. Like, he didn't quit, and at times he had to supplement in other ways to continue to keep going.

And the fact that he's having success now is really cool because I think that's the normal story. It's not the glamour story. And again, I'm not just talking about music artists. I'm talking about life when it's something that you really are dedicated to and you want to do and you believe in and you're passionate about it. I can say, if you love it, keep doing it, sometimes life happens and you can't just love and pay the bills. You can't just love something, do it and pay the bills because you got kids, you got a mortgage. But there are ways to continue doing it and do other things to make that money. Like I have a friend, I won't say who he is now.

He's awesome as an artist. And for a while, as he was making his life, he was just like secretly driving Uber. Because he was like, I'm not stopping. And he drove Uber for like six months. And now he's wildly successful. But sometimes in life, we have to do some of the things that make. Maybe we feel like, do I need, do I do this? Do I quit?

Yeah, sometimes you supplement it with things that aren't comfortable so you can be super comfortable and being fulfilled. So I'm proud of them. But I think bigger than that, I think we all have it in us to win if we choose to focus. And sometimes we have to do other things just to get there. But that's it. Good. Anything else?

No, I like that encouragement. And I, yeah, there's a beautiful story. I liked her talking about her support for him. And how he was like, hey, stop being so humble because she never. once mentioned how she was having to like raise the kids and do the real estate stuff and then he would be gone. And not just gone like making less money than like losing money. I know like being paid like 800 bucks but it costs them 1,300 to go do the show to get the band out there. There's just the type of people you root for. Um, not me anymore. I root for me because I am lactose intolerant and I really need help. I need your support. I'm sending up a go fund me. Good, good. You need it. For sure. If we can all just, my life's been changed. We need research on this. We do. We need funding. Yeah. We're going to have another radiathon starting tomorrow. And that's all. So she punched the manager and tried to steal his keys. You would think, though, they would have given her a little extra because they messed up.

Yeah. It's a lot, though. It's a lot. Eight can't sauce is what are you going to do with all those eight sauces? Unless you're going to save them. Which we used to do that. Save them for another day. Put them in the fridge.

But if you order eight, they forgot to put eight in and you ask for ten. I think they should meet you with ten. Although I don't think you should meet him with a punch of the face. And she stole his keys. Yeah, she tried to steal the keys. I heard what that was for. Probably a little locked-up sauce. I don't know, but she tried, you know.

The keys to what? The car? Oh, he had him on his, like a little loop on his belt, and he tried to, she tried to grab him. Like, you know, the janitor has him on there. Yeah, like Amy said, to get it into all the sauce or to steal his car? It just says, tried to steal all the keys. Okay. I'm Lunchbox.
