From hidden traits teams look for to the biggest mistakes franchises make to the players flying under the the radar. This is the insight you won't hear anywhere else. Starting point is 00:01:28 be his last target. He is not going to get away with this. He's going to get what he deserves. We always say that trust your girlfriends. Listen to the girlfriends. Trust me, babe. On the Iheart radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. In 2023, Bachelor star Clayton Eckerd was accused of fathering twins. But the pregnancy appeared to be a hoax. You doctored this particular test twice, Ms. Ellen's, correct?
Starting point is 00:02:00 I doctored the test once. It took an army of internet detectives to uncover a disturbing pattern. Two more men who'd been through the same thing. Greg Gillespie and Michael Ranchini. My mind was blown. I'm Stephanie Young. This is Love Trapped. Laura, Scottsdale Police.
Starting point is 00:02:17 As the season continues, Laura Owens finally faces consequences. Listen to Love Trapped podcast on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. What's up, everyone? I'm Ago Vodam. My next guest is. It's Will Ferrell. Woo. Woo.
Starting point is 00:02:34 My dad gave me the best advice ever. He goes, just give it a shot. But if you ever reach a point where you're banging your head against the wall and it doesn't feel fun anymore, it's okay to quit. If you saw it written down, it would not be an inspiration. It would not be on a calendar of, you know, the cat. Just hang in there. Yeah. It would not be.
Starting point is 00:02:58 Right. It wouldn't be that. There's a lot of luck. Listen to thanks, Dad. on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Welcome to Tuesday show. Morning Studio. Morning. Man, let's go to Nick, who is on the phone right now. Nick in Ohio, good morning, buddy. Hey, Bobby, how's it going? Pretty good. Thank you for calling. What can I do for you?
Starting point is 00:03:29 Good morning, studio. Morning. Hey, I was wanting to know if we can get the Tuesday song. Can you get the Tuesday song? Yeah, you can't hang it. Yeah, we got you, Nick. It's early, but let's give it a run here. For those that don't know, there are all these songs. Hit it, DJ Ray. There are all these songs about Mondays and that one kind of sucks. There's a song about Friday, Saturday, Sunday. There's working for the weekend.
Starting point is 00:03:53 There are no songs about Tuesday. So we did this song about Tuesday and we sing it sometimes. When someone like Nick calls and requests it, we'll sing it. So we'll start the show a Tuesday song. And let's see. The best day of the week, you all know it's my time. So I made a song about Tuesday so happens at rhymes. The lowest number of crime.
Starting point is 00:04:12 Super bingo at nine. This is how I do by Tuesday. This is how I do mine. The sun comes up. There's a smile on my mouth. Why? Because I love Tuesday is the first thing I shout. Free Zumba this morning and every Tuesday at 5 I got my spandex on. Time to head to the Y. Tuesday. H-O-A. Tuesday. Housewife's going booze. I'm just talking about Tuesday. It's Tuesday. Is my recycling on the curb as I drive off? Yep, my recycling's on the curb.
Starting point is 00:04:40 I mean, Fridays are fine. They're casual and all. But I'm always more productive on my Tuesday conference. It's called my after work plans. I got my spray tan. I'm drinking lemon water adding me some cayenne. Pebbles and bam bam. I'm watching C-SPAN. And then it's two-for-one at Sonic with a conie and each hand. I'm singing Tuesday.
Starting point is 00:04:58 H-O-A-Duesday. Housewife's going boo-day. I'm just talking about Tuesday. No-Tuesday. Brown cow goes moose-day. Eat some cashew-day. I'm just talking about Tuesday. Marty Gras
Starting point is 00:05:17 On a Tuesday I go to Croft Maga On a Tuesday I'm playing Pokemon On a Tuesday Came out of my mom On a Tuesday Tuesday
Starting point is 00:05:28 To to do To do to two To do That's Ray Mixing that Ray stop mixing that All right Nick Thanks buddy
Starting point is 00:05:39 Hey Thank you Thank you I always think it's weird Because Nick's on the phone He requested the song He's listening on the phone to us doing that.
Starting point is 00:05:48 And I know he can't really hear all the audio in the right ways. Oh, right. It's like breaking up there. And it's also like he's not really hearing the music at the same level we are. Sounds like it's a bad a cappella mix. But it's good for everyone else listening. Is it though? That's all what I wonder.
Starting point is 00:06:02 Thank you all. We're here. I don't know if you've realized, but it's Tuesday. Yeah. We've got a pretty good show. Let's get started now. It's an anonymous sandbox. Anonymous sandbox.
Starting point is 00:06:15 Listen to be had Hello Bobby Bones I got engaged last week After two and a half years of dating Love my fiance But I do not love the engagement ring He picked out It's not the size of the diamond
Starting point is 00:06:33 I want you to know that But it's all the details That are just not me I wanted silver It's a gold band I wanted oval It's a princess cut It also has little blue stones in the band
Starting point is 00:06:42 Blue isn't my favorite color I thought it would grow on me But when I look down I want to cry I don't want to hurt his feelings but it also has me questioning, does he know me at all? What, that's the stupid one?
Starting point is 00:06:55 Dramatic. Yeah. What advice do you have on talking to him about it? Signed, bride to be who hates her bling. First of all, he knows you, right? Second of all, if you wanted something very specific, it was your job to communicate that to him either directly or indirectly.
Starting point is 00:07:16 Well, he must not ask anybody. Oh, you're hating on him. Well, I'm thinking, what if she told her sister, best friend, or somebody in their life? But then it's their job to get it to him somehow. Okay. Okay, we're going to go to blow, as I can tell. No, we are. We're going to go to blows. I'm like, ah, even specific.
Starting point is 00:07:34 Here's the thing about a guy. Here's the thing about a guy. Unless, when it comes to things like this, unless you tell us exactly what you want, we have no idea. We don't even know the protocol to figure out sometimes what you like whenever we're trying to hide that we want to know what you like. So the part does he know you at all? stop with that nonsense. Now we can now address how do you go about making some changes. My first suggestion would be you make no changes until after the wedding.
Starting point is 00:08:01 You don't do it now. You wait until that's over honeymoon, three months later. And it doesn't have to be weird. It was like, I love this ring so much. Like I'd love to add a couple things. Instead of subtract. It's the shape and the blue. You just have to get into the conversation because it's going to hurt his feelings.
Starting point is 00:08:21 There's no doubt about it. It is going to hurt his feelings. As someone who gets their feelings hurt whenever they try hard, and it's received, but it's received in a way of, man, I really appreciate the effort you put in, but I don't know that it's perfect, and that hurts my feelings. So you do not do it before the marriage,
Starting point is 00:08:37 have the honeymoon, get back to normal life. And then I would be like, hey, at some point, I love this ring so much. I would love to, like, do some additions. Or somehow, you've got to get there. You can't just be like, this sucks, I need to change it. But it sounds like she wants to do some subtractions and change the shape and the color. He's not going to know this.
Starting point is 00:08:52 difference is my point okay he'll know no difference whatsoever say i'm gonna move some things around that's that right there would be perfect okay it's even better than what i said about it's like hey i love this ring so much i'm afraid like i hit my finger like that some of these small diamonds can i'm i'm gonna move some of this stuff around is that okay that would not hurt my feelings you that's great i'm there okay i think that sometimes too they buy it as the engagement ring and maybe there could be a little expectation there of like you get it reset in a way that you like. No.
Starting point is 00:09:25 No? We don't think that. Okay. So it needs to wait. So you're saying after the wedding. So he's going to be like, wait a second. You haven't liked this the whole time and you married me? He's literally not going to think that.
Starting point is 00:09:33 Okay. I'm telling you, we don't think about that stuff. Okay. We think we want to try real hard. We want to save up. We want to make the purchase, get it. Hopefully she's blown away like we saw in the movies our whole life. And she says yes when we get married.
Starting point is 00:09:46 And that's it. That's what we want. If it's positioned correctly and I like your position, I want to move some stuff around because I love it so much. but there's no problem with that. I know the lunchbox is not even going to be on this at all, but go ahead. Man, I'm going to tell you what. You are so rude.
Starting point is 00:10:00 He went through so much effort to find something that he picked out because he loves you so much to say, oh, he doesn't even know me? You sound like an ungrateful woman. And if you go to him, you know what he is going to think? You know what? Maybe she's not the one for me. Maybe she doesn't appreciate the things I do for her. That's why you wait till after the wedding.
Starting point is 00:10:18 So you just suck up that ring. You say, hey, he got this with love, and you wear. it in your finger proudly and that's it. Case closed. So don't fully subscribe to that, but I do think you deserve to have a ring that you like. I just think the timing and the presentation of what you do not find appealing are very important and have to be handled sensitively. Yeah, the whole thing's unfortunate. Yeah, no, it's awesome.
Starting point is 00:10:41 They're getting engaged. Yeah, but then it's a bummer to be in this position. No, it's happy. Yeah. But to anybody listening that is potentially going to get engaged soon, communication. Absolutely. Communicated. Or this will happen. Tuesday Reviews Day. Let's review something. You had to finish it. I'll review the killing season one. My wife wanted to watch the show because she had heard from friends. It was really good.
Starting point is 00:11:03 But we started it in season one was like 2011. And so some of the stuff, it's still a little cheesy just because shows were a little cheesier than. Anybody watch the killing back in the day? No. What is it? It's about a murder. There's that about a killing. Okay. Two detectives started to figure it out. Season one is pretty good It's just a little cheesy But again I have to think to myself
Starting point is 00:11:25 This wasn't made cheesy It was just 11, 12 years ago that was made I would give it three and a half Out of five packs of cigarettes Everybody smokes in this show Because apparently that was like being edgy then But it was good I think back then it had been five out of five
Starting point is 00:11:43 But we're in season two now And it's getting a little Like newer Like things are just just make more sense. But the killing's pretty good. So it's based off on a Danish TV show.
Starting point is 00:11:54 But I'll go three and a half out of five on season one of the killing. There are four seasons. Amy, you? The perfect couple. It's the new show on Netflix. Oh, we started that. And I finished it.
Starting point is 00:12:05 There's six episodes. And I give it four out of five dances on the beach. They do a line dance. They're all like, look at our line dance. At the beginning. I was like, I told my wife, What are we watching? She read the book and she was like, it's going to be really good.
Starting point is 00:12:22 And then they're all doing like a line dance perfectly, like 50 people on a beach. And I'm like, there's no way. That's even cheesier than the killing. It's the intro of every episode. It's so fun. You liked it? Yeah, I liked it. Yeah, it's good. Netflix? Yep. Lunchbox, see anything? Yeah, I watched a documentary called Addicted to Life.
Starting point is 00:12:38 It's about this woman in Belgium. She's a gold medalist. And they have euthanasia and she wants to exercise her right to do euthanasia. So euthanasia is when you choose to kill yourself. Oh. With the doctor. Yeah, with the doctor. Whoa. Tough.
Starting point is 00:12:51 Yeah. Yeah, that's tough. So I'd say five out of five gold medals. It's good, though. Yeah. Just because it's sad doesn't mean it's not compelling. Right. So it's really good.
Starting point is 00:13:01 Really good. Mike D. Did you go watch Beetleju's, Beetlejuice? I did. All right, movie Mike saw Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice, which is not Beetlejuice. It's part two. Yeah, go ahead. And it takes place 36 years after the original one.
Starting point is 00:13:14 And I thought this was just going to be like another cash grab movie. It's actually really good. Is Michael Keaton still in it? Yeah, he's Beetlejuice. He's still the same Beetlejuice? Same Beetleju. Is Beel's just a son like show up or anything? Or is he, it's just still him?
Starting point is 00:13:25 You got to watch it to find out. Okay. I don't know if it was like, I'm now going to make my son the guy that comes out. Do you need to watch the first one again? Definitely, yeah. Okay. You need to see first one. Because it's now the daughter of one-owner writer's character.
Starting point is 00:13:36 Is that Ginny Ortega? Yeah, she's good. Yeah. Yeah, she's pretty good actors. Yeah. What do you give it? I give it four out of five striped suits. Movie Mike with a strong movie review.
Starting point is 00:13:44 Eddie, anything? Okay, yes, I have a documentary called David Holmes, the boy who lived. I saw it on the airplane, so I don't know what streaming service it's on, but it's Harry Potter, what's his day? Daniel Rackcliffe, he had a stunt double for all of the Harry Potter movies. And in the last movie, he got paralyzed. Doing a stunt. During a stunt. And it's the story of his life and what happened and what he did after that.
Starting point is 00:14:07 Amazing. So I'm going to give it four and a half ones out of five. Dude, it's so, so good. I looked it up. It's 97% of Rotten Tomatoes. David Holmes is his name. And, yeah, and Daniel Ratcliffe, he's in the documentary. He's part of it because they were buds.
Starting point is 00:14:21 They were so close when they were making the movie. Oh my gosh. Morgan? Yeah, I went to the theaters and watched It Ends with us with Blake Lively and Justin Baldini. It's been all over the news. Oh, I watched, I was on TikTok for three weeks. I was in the algorithm of the drama there. The rabbit hole of all of that.
Starting point is 00:14:36 Yeah, of like those two. Yeah. How was the movie? It was really good. It made me like super emotional, very triggering real life for a lot of people. but it was so good. Like, I'm glad there's a movie out there that's like this now, so I give it four out of five blooms.
Starting point is 00:14:52 All the TikToks I watched for like two and a half weeks, me like Blake lively way less though as a person. Yeah, it's interesting what's happening. I don't know what to believe still either. Me neither. I believe what TikTok tells me. Ray, final one. Yeah, the deliverance.
Starting point is 00:15:05 It's on Netflix. Now that it is spooky season, it's kind of a Halloween theme. It is spooky season. And it's based on a true story of family, lower income can't move out of a house and it's haunted. Is it deliverance like the original? It's the deliverance.
Starting point is 00:15:19 What'd you give it? Four out of five. I will make you have some nightmares, though. Be careful. Rotten tomatoes give it a 33% splat. Is that fair? Well, my rating's a little bit higher than that. It is, yeah, but you feel like 33% is probably because of the vulgarity. There is some bad words in there, kids. I don't know that it's because of vulgarity.
Starting point is 00:15:36 That's what makes a good year old. It's reviewing on Rotten Tomatoes. But you liked it. Yes. Okay, the delirons. We will list all of these Tuesday. reviews days. You go to any of our social media pages, but go to bobbyvones.com. We'll put up a whole story. If you want to hear what we talked about and what shows to watch, it's all up there on Tuesday,
Starting point is 00:15:52 reviews day. Nice job, everybody. Thank you. No podcast, lunchbox? No, no podcast. We're busy, man. I haven't had time. No new friends. You want to review? No new friends. No new anything. No album release parties. No album release parties. But hey, I will work on a podcast. I'll get back on it. All right. Thanks, buddy. We appreciate that. It's time for the good news.
Starting point is 00:16:10 With Lunchbox. Mary Crippin is an elementary school teacher at Pine Crest Elementary School in Florida. And she loves to throw some football statistics and her math lessons to keep the kids interested down, sit, hut. And the kids love it. She makes videos of them and some have gone viral. And Tua Tua, who's the quarterback for the Miami Dolphins, saw a couple of the videos like, man, I love what this teacher's doing. She's getting these kids interested in math using football. Well, why don't I get back to her?
Starting point is 00:16:41 and his charity, they built a flag football field at the school. For free. Oh, wow, that's awesome. That's pretty cool. I mean, that is so cool. He just saw it and he was like, that's just go brother. Yeah, he saw the videos and going, hey, if she's going to do this, got the kids interested in football, let's give him a flag football field so they can get out there and play.
Starting point is 00:16:58 From what I hear and people I know, too, is a really good guy. There are a couple of those guys that are like A-plus guy guys, like Tua, Marcus Marriota, even Kirk Cousins. Like, people that I know that you know them, they're like, they are like the greatest humans. because most athletes are, they've always been athletes, they've been coddled and they live their own life, their own way. But, too, it's supposed to be a really, really good guy. That's a really cool story.
Starting point is 00:17:19 That's what it's all about. That was tell me something good. A win is a win. A win is a win. I don't care what I'm saying. Yep, that's me, Cliver Taylor the 4th. You might have seen the skits, the reactions, my journey from basketball to college football,
Starting point is 00:17:34 or my career in sports media. Well, somewhere along the way, this platform became bigger than I ever imagined. And now I'm bringing all of that excitement to my brand new podcast, The Clifford Show. This is a place for raw, unfiltered conversations with some of your favorite athletes, creators, and voices that
Starting point is 00:17:50 not only deserve to be heard, but celebrated. One week, I'll take you behind the scenes of the biggest moments in sports and entertainment. And the next, we'll talk about life, mental health, purpose, and even music. The Clifford Show isn't just a podcast. It's a space for honest conversations, stories that don't always get told,
Starting point is 00:18:07 and for people who are chasing something bigger. So if you've ever supported me or you're just chasing down a dream, this is right where you need to be. Listen to the Clifford show on the IHeart radio app, Apple Podcast, or wherever you get your podcast. And for more behind the scenes, follow at Clifford and at TikTok Podcast Network on TikTok. This week on the Sports Slice podcast, it's all about the NFL draft. And we've got a special guest. The director of the NFL's East West Shrine Bowl, Eric Galco, joins the Sports Slice podcast to break down what really matters when evaluating draft prospects, from hidden traits teams look for to the biggest mistakes franchises make to the
Starting point is 00:18:45 players flying under the radar. This is the insight you won't hear anywhere else. If you want to understand the draft like an insider, you don't want to miss this episode. Listen to the Sports Slice Podcast on the Iheart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast. And for more, follow Timbo Slica Life 12 and TikTok podcast network on TikTok. There's two golden rules that any man should live by. Rule one, never mess with a country girl.
Starting point is 00:19:14 You play stupid games, you get stupid prizes. And rule two, never mess with her friends either. We always say that trust your girlfriends. I'm Anna Sinfield, and in this new season of the girlfriends, Oh my God, this is the same man. A group of women discover they've all dated the same prolific con artist. I felt like I got hit by a truck. I thought, how could this happen to me?
Starting point is 00:19:38 The cops didn't seem to care. So they take matters into their own hands. I said, oh, hell no. I vowed I will be his last target. He's going to get what he deserves. Listen to the girlfriends. Trust me, babe. On the Iheart radio app, Apple Podcasts,
Starting point is 00:19:57 or wherever you get your podcasts. What's up, everyone? I'm Ego Wodom. My next guest, you know from Stepbrothers, Anchorman, Saturday Night Live, and the Big Money Players Network. It's Will Ferrell. My dad gave me the best advice ever.
Starting point is 00:20:21 I went and had lunch with him one day, and I was like, and dad, I think I want to really give this a shot. I don't know what that means, but I just know the groundlings. I'm working my way up through, and I know it's a place that come look for up-and-coming talent. He said, if it was based solely on talent, I wouldn't worry about you, which is really sweet. Yeah. He goes, but there's so much luck involved. And he's like, just give it a shot.
Starting point is 00:20:42 He goes, but if you ever reach a point where you're banging your head against the wall and it doesn't feel fun anymore, it's okay to quit. If you saw it written down, it would not be an inspiration. It would not be on a calendar of, you know, the cat. Just hang in there. Yeah, it would not be. Right, it wouldn't be that. There's a lot of luck. Listen to Thanks Dad on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcast, or wherever you get your podcasts.
Starting point is 00:21:12 You can have opinions. You can have like a strong stance. And then there's your body having its own program. I'm Dr. Maya Shunker, a cognitive scientist and host of the podcast, a slight change of plans, a show about who we are and who we become when life makes other plans. We share stories and scientific insights to help us all better navigate these periods of turbulence and transformation. There is one finding that is consistent, and that is that, Our resilience rests on our relationships.
Starting point is 00:21:47 I wish that I hadn't resisted for so long the need to change. We have to be willing to live with a kind of uncertainty that none of us likes. Listen to a slight change of plans on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast. This guy had been using the same rock for basically 30 years to hold his door like a doorstop. And someone came over and was like, hey, that's a weird looking rock. Turns out as a meteorite, it's worth $100,000. Oh, wow. For decades, he's just been using it as a doorstop.
Starting point is 00:22:24 By the way, the consistency of using the same rock as a doorstop, like shout out guy. But it's valued at $100,000. He received the rock in 1988 from a farmer who bought the property in Michigan. So someone was like, I think that could actually be a value. It just looks like a normal rock. If I were to see it, I go like, oh, that's a little shiny, but that's a cool normal rock. Question. How is like Joe DiMaggio's jersey worth millions and then a space rock is like only 100,000? Great question. The value is what people will pay for it.
Starting point is 00:22:55 That's crazy to me. That's it. So the guy obviously not knowing what it was value at, I just left it there to always keep the door propped. But it's from space. That's cool. It does just look like a dirty rock. That's it. Dirty rock. Yeah, yeah. Amy, if I were to say to you area 51, what do you think? I think aliens? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Give me a few words.
Starting point is 00:23:19 Come to mine. Aliens, secrets. Like desert. The West. Yeah. Like government conspiracy. Underground. Where is it?
Starting point is 00:23:30 West, like Amy said. New Mexico? Like where is that? Yeah, it's like you cross the border, Nevada. Right? Isn't it? It's like Nevada right on that border. Arizona, maybe.
Starting point is 00:23:39 It's in Nevada. I'm all positive to Nevada. It's right there. Or New Mexico? It's not. No. No. It's right there. So flight attendants that go to the, that have to go to this, right? So there are people that go on these planes. And so now there's an airline with these flight attendants. It's called like the secret airline. The unmarked craft is highly classified. There are flight attendants on these planes. They pick people up. They don't only say why they're going there. They don't say their names once they get on the flights. There have been reports that it flies government workers.
Starting point is 00:24:14 consistently, but they're never able to, like, check in. They don't talk to the flight attendants at all. They're not allowed to. Does it manifest? They just have to know that, like, person one, two, three, four is supposed to board. Nobody knows why the airline's even named Janet Airlines. Oh, Janet. Which is why they call it.
Starting point is 00:24:30 Some people think it stands for just another non-existent terminal. Huh. That's good. According to flight tracking radars, which show some flights that start with call signs X, X, X, X, X, X, they fly to the nuclear facility and then go from there. So what do you think is happening? here? Because even with this flight from Vegas, it's a Vegas flight that goes to Area 51.
Starting point is 00:24:49 Janet Airlines, nobody knows what it is. The flight attendants aren't able to talk to the people on there. They're always officials. Why is that also so secretive in your, like what's happening? In your mind, what's at Area 51, Amy? Secret things. So I'm not shocked that there's a secret. But what do you think so?
Starting point is 00:25:03 What do you think? Obviously it's secret. Do you think it's a, do I don't know. Do I think there's like dead alien bodies that they dissect? That's the question. Or. Something. There's things there they don't want us to know about.
Starting point is 00:25:16 Or is it like they're creating this awesome world that only they get to live in if everything falls apart. Now that also is interesting. So that's what your mind goes. Is that what you're attaching it to your theory too? I mean, it's a thought that I have had. And it's like in by only, you know, like once it's all set and done. Like if you're in, you're in.
Starting point is 00:25:34 So if you get to go on Janet Airlines, you're just going to see like the place you get to live in if the apocalypse happens? Potentially. Or if it's not aliens, are they creating something? that, like, is top secret there. And they have a lot of places they do this. Mm-hmm. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:25:49 Okay. Lunchbox, what do you think it is? Man, they're building new weapons. Definitely could be a thing. That's what they're doing. A lot of places they do this, though, that we know about. The strongest, biggest, baddest weapons in the world, they're building them there, and only top secret people can know about them.
Starting point is 00:26:05 And that's why they fly in scientists and whoever builds these. And then they fly them out. And they're not registered because they don't want anybody to go after them. Eddie, what do you think is happening at Area 51? same. Nukes. I think they're building nuclear stuff and like ooh, maybe like cool tanks that no other country has, cool
Starting point is 00:26:22 airplanes that no other country has. Or it could be another burning man, but just for government employees. They all just going to make out of each other. Yeah, it's like a big swingers party. A festival? See, I would think it be more than that than the nuke stuff, because we do that already and people already know where they're doing that kind of. But we can't let other countries know what we're working on. No, no, you can't
Starting point is 00:26:38 let your wife know that you're having a swingers part. There we go. See that. That's why. That's why you're not registered on the flight. is I am going to work. Where are you working? Can't tell you. So my top secret. My top two theories are this. That's pretty good. And mine are wildly, wildly, not even conspiracy, but just so far gone that no one will believe me.
Starting point is 00:26:57 But I think one, there could be a portal there to like another timeline or dimension. Oh, my God. Oh, I just thought a one that you're going to think of. Or it is really where there's some sort of craft that landed a long time ago. This is the original thought in theory that it is there. and that's where they've been keeping it, and that's where they're doing all the work on that. Okay.
Starting point is 00:27:18 But I definitely can see it being a portal. That's what they found the portal there. You guys have seen King Kong? No. The new ones? That's what that is. True story. Do you have more?
Starting point is 00:27:30 What do you mean? You said you had a couple. Well, time machine portal, similar type things. Okay, I have one that I thought you were going to say. It just popped in my head. Is where Arkansas wins football games? Yeah. The one place?
Starting point is 00:27:40 No, but maybe is that where, you know sometimes you're like we're in a simulation and we're all just like asleep somewhere oh that we're all stored like in these freezers that's where no no no we'd actually be on there we just be plugged in and like quiet our bodies be quiet that's a good theory I have three now these are all movies right
Starting point is 00:27:56 like all that stuff but don't you understand movies are based from thoughts on sometimes what people can see things are already being developed no I think they just make it up and they're like that's cool it can be like the it can be like the portal to hollow earth I'm not following anyway every one we'd love to go if anyone let one of us on Janitor Alliance. We would love to go
Starting point is 00:28:15 and get on. I wonder if you could get it? Can you win like a... I don't think it's Willy Wonka. I don't. Win like a ticket. Name this from a movie. Go ahead. Truth is, I am Iron Man. What movie's that? Iron Man. Very easy. That's the easiest example ever. You can't get easier
Starting point is 00:28:33 than that example. Okay. So I'll play a famous one-line movie quote. These are off in the 2000s. And you name the movie. If you miss it, you're out. Oh, geez. This first movie's from 2005. Go ahead. I wish I knew how to quit you.
Starting point is 00:28:47 From 2005? I wish I knew how to quit you. I'm in. I'm in for the win. Amy. Brokeback Mountain. Lunchbox? Brogback Mountain.
Starting point is 00:28:56 Eddie? Brokeback Mountain. Everybody's in. Good job. From 2000. Here you go. Are you not entertained? I'm in.
Starting point is 00:29:09 In. I'm in for the win. Amy. Gladiator. Lunchbox. Gladiator. Eddie. Gladiator.
Starting point is 00:29:21 Good. Let's turn up half a notch. Next. Doc, none of us could remember anything from last night. Remember? I'm in. 2009? I'm in for the man.
Starting point is 00:29:37 Doc, none of us could remember anything from last night. Remember? How do you feel? Fine-ish. Answer? Hangover. Yeah. Lunchbox?
Starting point is 00:29:48 Hangover. Eddie? Hangover. Good. Context close. Next one. Why so serious? I'm in for the win.
Starting point is 00:29:58 Oh, man. A little trouble over there? Yeah, a little bit. Eddie, you first. Joker. Amy? Joker. Lunchbox?
Starting point is 00:30:05 The Joker. The answer is the Dark Night. Yeah, that's why I was scared. Oh. We're done? All right. See you guys. Oh, that's the name of it is the Dark Night.
Starting point is 00:30:13 Different movies. But he is the Joker in it, right? That's the Joker, but it's not the movie that. I know. I understand. I just. No, you asked a question. We answered it, and then you reacted in a weird way.
Starting point is 00:30:21 Is there one called the Joker, though? Yeah, that's, uh... Heath Ledger? No, Joaquin Phoenix is Joker. Heath Ledger's dad in Dark Night. You're right. I knew that was Heath Ledger. Here we go.
Starting point is 00:30:32 Number one. Exercise gives you endorphins. Endorphins make you happy. Happy people just don't shoot their husbands. They just don't. That's from 2001. Can you name that movie? Here it is again.
Starting point is 00:30:43 Exercise gives you endorphins. Endorphins make you happy. Happy people just don't shoot their husbands. They just don't. I'm in. I'm in for the wind. Legally blonde. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 00:30:55 Uh, yeah. Lunchbox? I fell asleep in theater of this one. Legally blonde. Eddie? Legally blonde. Okay.
Starting point is 00:31:02 Everybody's good. All right. Next one. With great power. Comes great responsibility. From 2002. One more time. With great power.
Starting point is 00:31:15 Comes great response. What? With great power. Comes great responsibility. With great power. I'm in for the win. I can't I nail the actor though with that Well that's not the game
Starting point is 00:31:39 I know but that would help me If I could recognize the voice You say you can't nail the act Yeah like if I could Got it got it got it got it Everybody up? Yeah I think this happened way
Starting point is 00:31:52 It is tough 2002 mostly it's the line that's very famous That you should know from the movie Yes Amy I don't know a few good men The 2000 She mumbles it. She knows she's like, no, it's like, what's that?
Starting point is 00:32:06 What's that? Yeah, that's stupid. Incorrect. Lunchbox. Come on, guys. The six cents. That's I see dead people. Well, I know, but I think he went with a different line from that movie.
Starting point is 00:32:19 Obviously. Eddie? I could win this. You could. The Avengers? Wow, no. You couldn't be more wrong. Spider-Man.
Starting point is 00:32:26 You kind of right. No! You're the most right, but that doesn't matter. Nobody's right. I don't lose again. Everybody loses again. All right. Play a song.
Starting point is 00:32:35 Wow, how does that happen? Come back. I don't know. We'll go one more round. We'll do speed round for three. Buzz in with your name. Okay, here we go. This one, go.
Starting point is 00:32:51 Trying to earn money for college. Your mom goes to college. Lunchbox. Lunchbox. Napoleon Dynamite. Correct. One for lunchbox. Here we go.
Starting point is 00:33:01 They've done studies, you know. 60% of the time, it works every time. That doesn't make sense. Eddie. Juno. Incorrect. Amy. Anchorman.
Starting point is 00:33:10 Correct. Dang it. 60% of the time. It's Sex Panther, whatever. Black Panther. What is it? Oh, it is? Black Panther is a superhero.
Starting point is 00:33:21 Black Panther's a movie. Wakanda, forever. Okay. So Amy has one. Lunchbox has one. Eddie, you got to get it. You got to get it. Or if one of you two get it, it's over.
Starting point is 00:33:32 Yeah. Here we go. Next one up. I live my life a quarter mile. Eddie. That is fast and furious. Correct. Yes. We're all in.
Starting point is 00:33:41 Diesel. Hey, we all lose. No, we all win. Oh, we all win. This is for sudden, sudden death. Oh, no. For all the marbles. There's all the bag of marbles in the studio, and if you win, you get all the bag of marbles.
Starting point is 00:33:52 Here we go. I'm going to steal the declaration. Amy. National Treasurer. National Tetres correct. No. Yay. Here's a voicemail from last night.
Starting point is 00:34:02 I have a tell me something good and also a request. might tell me something good. It's my husband and I. I've tried to have a baby for seven years. And we have our miracle daughter, which is awesome. But that also means that I went on maternity leave for the past six weeks. I listened to your show religiously at work and I haven't been there. So if you could please recap the past six weeks and save me a bunch of hours, I would greatly appreciate it.
Starting point is 00:34:30 Thank you. Yeah, I have no idea. I can give you a couple things. We'll go just do two things. I had COVID. We went on vacation last week I had COVID the whole time as a vacation so we were gone but I was in a hotel room. That part, that sucked. And then
Starting point is 00:34:41 I don't know. I came to work. I was on time. I don't know. Six weeks is such a weird time. That's a lot. I moved. Amy did move. Yeah, officially so I've been doing that. Six weeks? Six weeks. Six weeks. What's happening? What even month is that? It's like the end of July.
Starting point is 00:35:00 We went outside. We went outside and sweat. it at some time. It was hot. I went to a pool. I fed the dogs. Yeah. I took a nap. Mike, anything big in the last six weeks? Yeah. You ever miss anything. What about? Oh, yeah, Hock Tua. Hucktua was on what? Morgan's boyfriend. Oh, yeah, Morgan got broken up with.
Starting point is 00:35:20 Single again. Yeah, she's single again. That's big. Because maybe the last time she listened. Okay, you on morbid. Eddie's dad died. Is that way? I didn't know where we were going there. I wasn't going to go there. Oh, I don't compare those to the same. No, no, but I wouldn't be saying that. You just like, you did a gateway. drug. That's a okay
Starting point is 00:35:36 to something, yeah, heavy. Yeah. Okay, but maybe the last time she listened, Morgan was moving in with the guy. Oh, Abby. No, Abby. Okay, so anyway, thank you for listening. You didn't miss much. There was funny moments, but you didn't miss much. Okay. A win is a win.
Starting point is 00:35:53 A win is a win. I don't care what you're saying. Yep, that's me, Clever Taylor the 4th. We always say that, trust your girlfriends.
Starting point is 00:37:52 I'm Anna Sinfield, and in this new season of the girlfriends... Oh my God, this is the same man. A group of women discover they've all dated the same prolific con artist. I felt like I got hit by a truck. I thought, how could this happen to me? The cops didn't seem to care. So they take matters into their own hands. I said, oh, hell no.
Starting point is 00:38:13 I vowed. I will be his last target. He's going to get what he deserves. Listen to the girlfriends. Trust me, babe. On the Iheart radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Everyone, I'm Ego Vodom.
Starting point is 00:38:35 My next guest, you know from Stepbrothers, Anchorman, Saturday Night Live, and The Big Money Players, network. It's Will Farrell. Woo. Woo. My dad gave me the best advice ever. I went and had lunch with him one day and I was like, and dad, I think I want to really give this a shot. I don't know what that means, but I just know the groundlings. I'm working
Starting point is 00:38:57 my way up through and I know it's a place that come look for up and coming talent. He said, if it was based solely on talent, I wouldn't worry about you, which is really sweet. Yeah. He goes, but there's so much luck involved. And he's like, just give it a shot. He goes, but if you ever reach a point where you're banging your head against the wall and it doesn't feel fun anymore, it's okay to quit. If you saw it written down, it would not be an inspiration. It would not be on a calendar of, you know, the cat.
Starting point is 00:39:27 Just hang in there. Yeah, it would not be. Right, it wouldn't be that. There's a lot of luck. Listen to Thanks Dad on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcast, or wherever you get your podcasts. You can have opinions. You can have like a strong stance. And then there's your body having its own program.
Starting point is 00:39:50 I'm Dr. I wish that I hadn't resisted for so long the need to change. We have to be willing to live with a kind of uncertainty that none of us likes. Listen to a slight change of plans on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast.
Starting point is 00:40:38 Here's Amy's pile of stories. DIY fashion braces are popular among teens right now, so dentists and doctors are having to put warnings, hey, don't hot glue these fake braces onto your teeth. They could be very damaging. Also, basement braces are becoming a thing. What's that? It's where they go to someone's basement and get the braces put on for a cheap deal because they're teenagers and they don't really need braces. So they're trying to just find a way to look cool. Who knew? I mean, my daughter just had to get like some little braces and I kind of thought she was going to be a little insecure with it, but she's not. Braces are all the rage right now. For the record, I'd like to say you
Starting point is 00:41:15 should not DIY anything medical. I've said it. Moving on. Yeah, definitely not. There's a lot of risk there, so don't do it. A sneaky trip. Have you heard of it? A sneaky trip. One specific or one you did? No, it's a new trend. Oh, no. It's called the sneaky trip where you don't. Oh, I know that. Sometimes I go to the card shop and don't tell my wife and I'm like, hope she doesn't look. Exactly. You lie to your wife say you go in one place and go by baseball cards. Yeah. It's in the same vein. Okay. But this would be more so for social media, whether you're posting it on Instagram or Facebook, TikTok, whatever you want to do to show off that you went.
Starting point is 00:41:49 It doesn't even have to be somewhere fancy. But the point is you don't post about your trip at all in any way, shape, or form until you get back, you do a dump and it's like, oh, bam, I went on this trip. Yeah, yeah. On our vacation, and mostly because I covered the whole time, and I was too sick to push it.
Starting point is 00:42:05 Post. Yeah, so you post it later. But the big thing that this does, too, not only is to allow you to enjoy, enjoy the trip while you're there, so you're not on social media, but people don't know. that you're out of town. Don't get murdered in your bed.
Starting point is 00:42:17 It doesn't get burglarized. You're murdered in your sleep. Okay. Hormel is a bacon little canned meat company. They are partnering with cinnamon toast crunch for this bacon cinnamon toast crunch flavor situation. It doesn't seem like it would work, but that works. It's not bacon bits inside the cereal. Oh, God, that would not work.
Starting point is 00:42:36 Oh. Oh. Yo. Well, some people wanted clarification, but it is the cinnamon dust onto the bacon. That works. Yeah. I feel like it would be good. Bacon, bits and cinnamon toast crunch. Mm-hmm.
Starting point is 00:42:47 Don't work. Now, this combo is going to be available only for a limited time later this month at Select Walmart and Croker's stores. So if you have one near you, get your hands on it. All right. Thank you. That's good. I made me. That's my pile. That was Amy's pile of stores.
Starting point is 00:43:01 It's time for the good news. With Amy. Get home. Okay, follow me here. I got 99-year-old Henry Clayton. He lives in like a nursing home. And he was not able to attend his daughter's recent wedding. His daughter's 60.
Starting point is 00:43:17 Got it. Okay. Okay. So it's not her first marriage situation. But he really wanted to walk her down the aisle. But because he wasn't doing well, he wasn't able to attend. So fast forward a couple of months. And his home where he lived, his assisted living home, they put on a ceremony for him.
Starting point is 00:43:35 She showed up with her wedding dress. They had musicians. They sort of recreated the whole wedding experience. And he was able to walk his daughter, Fiona, down the aisle. Headline. He's 99. And he's alive. He's alive. That's pretty awesome itself.
Starting point is 00:43:50 I mean, they're almost to the point where they could, like, live together. Or, like, date each other and no one would think there was a big age difference. True, true. That's true. Yeah, but, like, his granddaughters were involved in the ceremony, so it was a really special thing, especially for the home to kind of go through all that effort. That's a great story. That is what it's all about. That was Tell Me Something Good. There's a guy, WDRB with the story.
Starting point is 00:44:13 This guy keeps going and pooping on porches. Oh, my. What? The alleged porch pooper has returned to Old Louisville. The homeowner said the alleged suspect returned to his home at 1.30 a.m. He pooped on the porch. He returned at 3.30 a.m. the next day. But there was an alarm. And so it scared him from pooping on the porch.
Starting point is 00:44:33 The homeowner said he ordered no trespassing warning tape to span the railings of the porch at night. He said he hopes this would be the end of it. But the Louisville police are taking the situation seriously. And they've increased drive-by patrols on the street. Do we need drive-bys if it's just a poopper? Or do we think the porch-fooper turns into something worse? No, I think it's a little overreaction. Stepped up patrol for poop?
Starting point is 00:44:55 That's what I'm saying. Come on. But you don't want that. You don't want that. You don't want it. I agree. Nobody wants it. Also, what's up with this person? Either he is angry at somebody in this house. It is a practical joke that made the news that they must continue.
Starting point is 00:45:07 I dare. Yeah, I'm not quite sure what the motivation is. Usually I can kind of find the motivation. They lost a bet. Ooh, let's put this on the wheel. But he has to go to the same house. That's the problem. That's risky.
Starting point is 00:45:18 And also, like, to, the pressure of pooping whenever it. That's tough. Well, you schedule it. You schedule it. No, I know, but, like, on there, because you got to go, you never know to make it open the door. It's make you drive by. So, WDRB, if you're listening right now, porch pooper, we would put your voice on voice changer and talk to you and never turn you in.
Starting point is 00:45:39 We never know who you were if you wanted to call the show. We're quite big in Louisville. We'd love to talk to the porch pooper. That would be awesome. That would be awesome. All right, Amy's morning corny. The morning corny. What do you call an igloo without a bathroom?
Starting point is 00:45:55 An igloo without a bathroom. Ig. No, Lou. Oh, Lou. That was the morning corny. That's a pretty good one. Yeah, I like it. You know, you're British.
Starting point is 00:46:10 Yeah, the Lou. But I also didn't know we had a bathroom story right before that either. Oh. Hey. The dumb question for the room brought to us by Eddie, can you raw dog a sweatshirt? Do you raw dog a sweatshirt? I don't know what that was.
Starting point is 00:46:23 I've never even thought about this. Eddie, so give you a question. Like when you wear a sweatshirt, do you wear an undershirt underneath or you just raw dog? He's raw dog like skin on raw. I guess I do. I don't have to have an undershirt if that's what we're saying. So where does this come from, though?
Starting point is 00:46:39 I was putting on my sweatshirt and my wife, I guess, was in the room and she's like, you're not putting an undershirt into that? And I didn't think about it, but I guess all my young life, I used to wear undershirts. Then somewhere in the middle, I just said, nah, screw it. I'm going to raw dog it. I don't know that I have a real feeling on this either way. Because she says, like, itches if you don't wear an undershirt. Now that I agree with.
Starting point is 00:46:59 And I would say some sweatshirts, if they do itch, I'll raw, I'll not raw dog. But some, if they feel fine, I'll raw dog it up. Right. I guess I never even thought about the question. Yeah, my wife's one that brought it up. Like today I have on, this is not a sweatshirt. It's kind of like a sweater. It's kind of like a sweater with a little zip on it.
Starting point is 00:47:15 I have an undershirt on it because the sweater gets my little, I have 1% chest hair, like almost none, but it does get caught up in there. The little zipper? Yeah. Catches the one ear? A little chest hair. I'm like, ow. So just generally speaking, raw dog a sweatshirt, Amy. Yes.
Starting point is 00:47:29 I say yes, too. I think mostly I just throw a sweatshirt on. Unless it, like, lift, if I lift my arms and it shows the bottom part of my belly, I'll put an undershirt on to make sure that doesn't happen. And you tuck in the undershirt? Yeah, because I don't like the little part of my belly showing. Lunchbox? I never really. rod dog with a hoodie on because
Starting point is 00:47:45 I feel like it is too itchy. Well, because you are five days in a row, though. That's what I'm saying. And also, where I'm going, you know what I mean? Like, it may be cold in the studio, but when I leave the studio, it's hot outside, so I want to take the sweatshirt off. So if I rodog it,
Starting point is 00:48:01 I don't have a shirt underneath and I can't take it off, then I'm sweating. So no raw dog for me. So two raw dogs, one no. I'm raw dogging now. Wow, you are. Yeah, dude. It does seem kind of white trash, though. It is a little bit.
Starting point is 00:48:13 I guess that's where my wife is coming from. I guess that's why I do it too. When I see it on you, I'm like, ugh. It almost be like not wearing underwear under jeans. Right. Some people do that. That's over the line. Does anyone here do that?
Starting point is 00:48:24 But here's, no. Okay. I don't either. No. Doesn't that hurt? It's not even that to me. It's that I dribble. See, there's a lot of reasons.
Starting point is 00:48:33 Right. I don't want my dribble to get in my denim. Like, that's that real reason. And it's just very light dribble. That's why I don't understand why y'all don't pat. we don't pat what i do no i do that doesn't mean you still don't dribble a little bit oh okay it's hard to explain i know i understand i and also like the denim's rough it's like it's not smooth rarer what's up morgan's holding her face right now now i get it if it's like
Starting point is 00:48:59 sweatpants just the conversation of the dribble really but it's also you girls don't have to worry about that you can wear jeans with no underwear because you don't have anything no i don't really like that no and that's fine but you don't have anything that the texture of the denim would actually be affecting. Right. So raw dog sweatshirt, yes, raw dog pants. No. And not because really the pant, but because the dribble.
Starting point is 00:49:22 I didn't even thought about raw dog in pants. Never, never crossed my mind. I'll wear shorts if I don't have underwear. Now that's fine. Like that's, okay. Just because I'm so anti-dribble, I will wear gym shorts underneath pants. Oh, I thought you made you wear just shorts, no underwear. No, no.
Starting point is 00:49:38 Okay, all right. I wouldn't even do that because I don't want people see it. I don't want to sit down and somebody be like he, look at that like the little guy you know yeah
Starting point is 00:49:47 anyway good morning everybody yeah good morning he's got a call that his house was on fire that call sucks but he's like
Starting point is 00:49:56 no one's at my house security footage caught it was the dog a kitchen fire was started by the fat and hungry according to the story puppy
Starting point is 00:50:04 and so they're out of their house for six to eight months that would be nine dog years by the way so So the guy gets a call and the security footage shows the black French bulldog named Harvey perched on a chair reaching for a bowl of snacks. The snacks are on top of the stove. And what happens is as he's trying to get on the stove, he like pushes down on the pilot.
Starting point is 00:50:24 Oh, it starts the gas. Like the gas pilot. Yeah. So the burner turns on, catches it on fire. The whole kitchen burns up because the dog was trying to get the snacks on top of the stove. That's from the New York Post. This is why I don't put things on top of the stove. I have this thought.
Starting point is 00:50:40 That's why I don't have snacks. For you guys. So once one of my old dogs named Dusty had eaten an entire pen and not a big deal because the pen just gets old, but he had eaten the pen all over the living room. And ink was on it like every piece of carpet. It is blue ink everywhere. I remember going home and it was all over his face too. And I was trying to figure out where did all this ink come from.
Starting point is 00:51:01 And then he comes up to me as a white dog. He didn't know what's going on. You can't help but from laugh and cry because I'm like, all this carpet. There's no way this is all coming out. It's all done. So if you have an animal that like ruined your stuff, give us a call. I want to talk to Carson in Florida because I'm sure animals have just eaten a lot of stuff too, like expensive things.
Starting point is 00:51:23 Hey, Carson, what's going on? Hello. One of my family members was at the house and he ate one of, my dog ate one of his AirPods. I would assume there are a lot of AirPods and bellies of dogs out there. And a lot of missing single AirPods. that people don't know where they are that just happen to be in the bellies of missing animals. Let's go to Shannon who's on right now. Shannon.
Starting point is 00:51:47 Morning. Good morning. Go ahead. We had a chocolate lab who we put in the garage. We had a air-conditioned garage. And he ate the Corvette cover off our Corvette and then proceeded to eat the car itself. He ate the molding around. around the window and the top, where the top came on.
Starting point is 00:52:13 He ate the molding around the top of the car, did about $800 from damage to the car, and a couple hundred dollars in damages to the Corvette cover. Why do you think he ate all that? Was he just bored? Actually, this dog was neurotic. He ate the steps. He ate drywall out of the middle of the wall.
Starting point is 00:52:34 When he got older, I was saying he, you know, and didn't want to get up. and find something to chew on. He chewed his paws. We tried medicine. We tried all the things. But I just think we got lucky and got a crazy dog. Anxiety.
Starting point is 00:52:51 Sometimes I get anxious to the airport. I eat all kinds of crap from that little store. I'd never eat in real life. I mean, like peach flavored funions. I would never buy those in real life. But I'm anxious to fly. Thank you for the call. Appreciate that.
Starting point is 00:53:02 Let's go to Adam and Indiana who's on. Hey, Adam, you're on, buddy. Hey, Bobby, how's going? Good, man. What's your story? Yeah, my dog, you got a chocolate lab as well, and we went to a lotball game, and we came home, and he went to a pantry, and he had eight hamburger buns, eight hot dog buns, and a whole loaf of white bread. So is he sick after that? Because luckily that didn't, like, destroy the house or catch the house on fire.
Starting point is 00:53:28 He just, like, over eight. That's like me at Thanksgiving is what that feels like. He was pretty backed up for a while. We also had another one, so at the old house, we finished off our loft into a, an office drywalled in and everything and two weeks later he had been staying up in there when we were gone and he chewed a hole through the dry wall to get out of the loft so had a dog who ate to the drywall once i mean it was the same dog i was talking about earlier he would like put his face up against the wall and just know i guess i just gnaw in a little hole then turns to a big hole my current dog does
Starting point is 00:54:01 that it's so hard choose to the wall yeah it creates like yeah little holes in the wall maybe drywall tastes really good and we just don't know because we've always been We've been told not to eat it. Maybe it does taste great. And that is the end of the first half of the podcast. A win is a win. A win is a win. Yep, that's me, Cliver Taylor the 4th.
