to the Dolphins game yesterday because there were two games yesterday. Jags, Pats, out of my life forever, and while we're at it, Thursday, Saints, Broncos, out of my life. Look man, time is short. Yeah in fairness to the Dolphins, Skyler Thompson looked like he was going to be available most of the week. He was listed as questionable and then in the last day they deemed him to be out. So Skyler Thompson is very close to coming back as the backup. Greg I can't believe I'm saying this but if Huntley stays in that game I think the Dolphins probably win that game. Is that fair? They played pretty good defense. they rushed for almost 200 yards, they absolutely would have won that game if they didn't self-destruct with two extremely costly lost fumbles with a boink on a makeable field goal with not going to Tyree Kill and Jalen Waddell early enough or often enough. There's just so much that they shot theirself in the foot. The penalties continue hurtful, six more for 50 yards. It's just a sloppy team that has, the problem with the Dolphins right now with two out is they have zero margin of error.

They have to do everything right including not turn the ball over to have a chance to beat even an average Colts team. That's why the Boink is so bad, right? Because the Boink then not only costs you a 13-13 game, it costs you a chance at a 16-16 game, right? So then you have to rely on Tim Boyle to lead you down the field for a game-winning drive where he, for whatever reason,

decides to check down for a negative one-yard gain when time is running out. Because he's Tim Boyle. And basically cost the team the game. Then sale one almost into the stands on fourth down, which was crazy. Tim Boyle. played seven games and josh allen has not thrown an interception you're not as good as that team him coming back and risking injury again because you guys don't like the way the offense has looked for the last month. and you want him to save you in the division. It's not the superhero you want to be. No, that's a no. Brain injury guy. No. Josh Allen also had a concussion this year. He did I Feel concussed when you tell me he's played seven games and has zero interceptions more concussions than interceptions Let's remember Jeremy's not watching to a play so I really don't want to I mean

They've given me no reason to want to watch him play as a franchise anyway, so he's coming back They're better not watch I not going to win anything. All right, fine, I won't watch. It just feels like they have all kind of shrugged through the last few games, Greg. I mean, they won at New England with good defense. They won at New England the good defense they won at New England the same way they intended to win in Indy and the game plan was working if not for those two turnovers and and that's a big if granted but if they play a clean game they win that game in Indy there's no question about it they played good defense they they had almost 200 yards rushing with no two that's exactly the way they intended to play that

They're three and three today if they win that game They should have won that game right exactly and and and when I try to put a positive spin on this I'm saying a two is about to come back and the team is a totally different team with him and and B Three of their next four opponents have a combined record of a seven and 19 I think and three of those four games are at home couldn't I argue that one win against the Patriots is almost as bad that way as no wins against the Patriots I like it once so far the Patriots are god-awful to win that doesn't look bad they beat beat Cincinnati. Their Jagswin wasn't that great either to start the season. They're two wins are not impressive Yeah, the Jagswin hasn't aged well. Did you see last night yesterday for for an example? Did you guys watch in Giants Eagles? he went backwards all game because we are losing your left tackle all of a sudden it can short-circuit any number of offenses but my question to chris and billy and greg as people who care about to what allegedly my question is legitimate for this season really because i know you're in the tyreek hill window does it give you any discomfort at all

to say hey brain injury guy if you get another one i'm probably gonna say retire on the spot because you've got you guys have already said that you've you guys have already said that his next concussion if it looks like the last two you're gonna urge him to retire. But that's unfair what you're doing to them. This is a decision that Tua is making

and ultimately doctors are clearing him to play. They're just fans. Like that's it. They're fans who are gonna root for their quarterback and their team when their quarterback comes back and makes their team better. I mean, Tua is deciding this, not Greg Cody. Right, and the only thing I've written is that I predict that the next concussion will end his career.

I hope it doesn't. The decision may not even be his at that point. But for now, it's his body, it's his brain, it's his career, it's his team of doctors advising him. While the team, by the way, while Mike McDaniel stands back and doesn't involve himself in the hurrying at all, when Tua and his doctors feel like he's ready to give another shot, I'm all for it. Dolphin fans should be all for it. You say this season, Dan, they're a game out of the playoffs.

Yep. I mean, with the extent, with like the more teams making the playoffs, everyone's still in the hunt. Yes. Like my dad said, they have a weaker schedule coming up. This is all I'm saying to you guys. Bad division. You want us to not be excited to us coming back?

No, you're just two and four is all, and the idea of being excited about this Dolphin season seems far-fetched when you're like, they're only a game out, but you know they're not as good as the Bills. The Bills did this to the Dolphin season dolphin season they came in here ransacked your team and not do you want to the race two games into the season

but with when their guy who was dead recently knocked out your guy who was already having a bad game could he was desperate trying to get to ten points in a thrown a couple of interceptions you know the bills are better than you you know their quarterback is played seven games doesn desperate trying to get to 10 points and had thrown a couple of interceptions. You know the Bills are better than you. You know their quarterback has played seven games, doesn't seem to get injured like that and has thrown no interceptions. To believe in the illusion of two and four because you've limped to this and think you're close to the Bills when you're not, it doesn't have any perspective in it.

There's four teams that they're not close to, but the rest of the teams in the conference with two a healthy, they're right there with those teams. I know but that's not a real... So not make the playoffs so if you can't be a top seed you're saying just take? No actually let me do it another way. I play the rest of the season. Some stuff here like to wants to get on the field the big business of football wants to get him back on the field and The doctors will study this imperfect thing as much as they can but we've diagnosed this with our eyes Like he's got something happening that we have diagnosed as a worse concussion problem, a worse brain problem than other people. In this case, I do believe many people just listening to this are saying, yes, I know as much as the doctors here, which isn't very much about what the damage of all this is.

You're picking and choosing, though. Devon A. Chan just got back from a head injury. We're fine with him playing yesterday. Like, it's just like, I get it, Tuas had a few of them, but there's, Josh Allen had one a couple weeks ago. We're okay with him playing. Well, what Dan is saying is Tuas seems to be more at risk than any other player.

Well, no, Chris Olave has had a ton of concussions and no one talks about it because he's not a quarterback and it's not happening on prime time games. Okay, that's totally fair. But Dan, he is deciding to come back. Like you can't pin it on the fans for cheering for him when he decides to come back. So we boo him like he comes back like boo. Didn't work yesterday.

You can question whether or not he should come back. I mean, there are certainly arguments on both sides of that, but you can't get mad at fans for cheering when he decides to come back. I just I'm it's just an interesting distinction that Greg is making on the next one being a real, like a real moment. That's my concern. The previous one, he said that about the next one, which then happened against the bills.

Dad, you wrote an article, you wrote an article saying, hey, stop telling Tua to retire. But now you're like, but if he gets another one, he needs to retire. It's like, what do you mean no? What I wrote was, I fear that the next concussion will end his career. It's not what I'm hoping happens.

No, you wrote a column telling people to stop retiring for Tua. Yeah, the same thing I've been saying right now, that it's not our decision. Unless he has another one, then it's yours. No it isn't. No, you're putting words in my mouth. What he's saying is if there's another one,

they're gonna force him to retire against his will and that's what he's concerned about. That's my concern is that either Tua is gonna see that he needs to retire or the doctors will see it for him if he has one more concussion. That's just my presumption. I hope I'm wrong and I may not be right. Well you might want to be right. If he has another concussion we might hope that you're right that they just are. Take him away from here. Take the decision out of his hand. Do I have it wrong when I say he's wearing sunglasses

in a dome yesterday because there are light issues with your head and your eyes in a dome? But Dion wears sunglasses everywhere. He might just want to look cool. Okay, so which is it? Do we have a theory on that? I mean, I think it's the former, but still. Okay, no, it might not be.

It might be the latter. It might be that he's just... Did he look cool on the sidelines? Yeah, he looked cool. He looks very cool whenever they score 10 points and have three targets to waddle in hell. That makes him cooler. I'll tell you what, lighting in domes is a tricky game, a dangerous game.

Look at how Billy's dressed, and even he can't go with you on this. Who facilities. You never know like we go to Billy's dress and he can't go is it that never knows I gotta tell you I go to Northwestern to watch lacrosse games and their indoor facility is very very bright And there are times where I want to wear sunglasses like this place. Yeah, I mean I need sunglasses

So bright in there you go It's terrible to experience I, it's terrible to experience. I feel bad for Tua. Tua's looked great, by the way, these past couple weeks, I will say. No one has looked, I would probably give him the MVP of the NFL based on how the Dolphins have played without him.

Like, he's dressing well, or like? No, like he's looked like one of the greatest quarterbacks in the history of the game because of how bad the Dolphins have looked without him. You mean his absence has made him, in hindsight, look like the better quarterback? And it made the heart grow fonder. Yeah, looks healthy.

I thought you meant like he, his sunglasses were really cool. Like he's looked really happy and healthy on the sidelines. He does look happy. You see pictures of him like, I think I saw him playing ping pong or something. He looked really happy. Table tennis, some people call it. I don't know why.
