194.) Checking In On Our Health... (10/6/26)
00:00Just don't call in a podcast. The Ebro-Lara Rosenberg show.Okay.Tuesday show.Tuesday show. All right, ladies and gentlemen, we are here.Thank you for giving us a little bit of your time this morning as the days get shorter.Days is colder, nights is longer.
00:28It's feeling like life is something. You know, Nause.Yeah, word, word. But, yeah, no, fall is definitely.set in so listen our aim every dayfor the last, how long we've been doing the show?10 months now?About?
00:40Yeah.Has been to give you a good solid hourof, you know, some intel, some perspectives and some laughs. You know, Ebro-Laure-Roszenberg,thank you for locking in.Now, I see you got the rundown. You got two short,
00:54Drake and Siza and Tish James.Yes.Yes.We'll talk about that coming up.All right. The biggest story for me right now,I'll be honest, guys, has been
01:05what happenedwith Rassan's healthI didn't catchlast week's Patreonyou told me yesterdayI needed to gobut you guysas I walk in the studio
01:15you guys are constantlytalking aboutso I can't get to theI've had a chanceall right so real quickwe asked Basque wanted to check inon the health journeyright so now recap for those
01:25that may have missed ithis foothis foot swole uplike a balloonall of a sudden one dayhe hadn't been to the doctoreven though his wife worksat a hospital
01:33and he's been eating gummy worms by the pound every night for...Hiding him in the couch, doing all kinds. So anyways, he said that he was getting it together. He started looking better for sure.Yes.Lost some weight. All right.Said he stopped the gummies.
01:47So we said, how's everything going?Just checking it.And he said that he's added a cheat meal. And sometimes it's a few cheat meals. And I said, what is the cheat meal that we're talking about? All right. And he told us that he frequents a place. Is this establishment in Brooklyn?
02:03It is.But I don't know if it's all over in New York.It should be.You want to shout it out? It's called yo-yo chicken.Yo-yo chicken.Listen, if you work at the yo-yo chicken in...Where is it?
02:15Where's your yo-yo chicken? In Brooklyn. It's all over Brooklyn.Okay.We have one in Bayo, New Jersey.Oh.It's one on 2nd Avenue and one on East 14th Street. All right, so there's a video.
02:27There's a video.Well, which one do you go to?Well, he doesn't want people who...No, now we need people coming up to him. We're trying to save this man's life.that's where I'm going. No, no, no.If you see Rassan coming to a yo-yo chicken.
02:37So listen, well, so here's what...It's like when somebody keeps showing up to a barand they stop serving them.Right, right.Yo-yo chicken, you need to stop serving Rassan. So here's the thing. Here's the thing. When he said that he was having his cheat meal at yo-yo-chicken,
02:50I'm not familiar with the work, but I was interested.I said, sure, what are you getting? And listen, you're doing good all weeks.Okay, you have a cheat meal.Cool.You're loud.I'm thinking a burger.
03:00Okay.A fries and maybe a Diet Coke to Washington.it down.Or some fry,maybe some fries chicken.So I'm thinking he's goingin there some wangs.Right.
03:08Or you have, wangs and dimes. You're having a two piece. You're having a two piece of chicken,a biscuit, whatever. So then we ask him what his meal is.And basketball,I'd like you to tell Ebro what your choice
03:18yo-yo chicken order is.But when you're having your true cheat.This is one day a week, right?Cheat day.Well,could be twice.Maybe three, I think.Oh,
03:27this is now not a cheat day.It was Friday. And then it was Friday. And then it creeped into a WednesdayFriday.Tell them the order, please, the full order? The full order isDouble Smash Burger.
03:41All right.Delicious.Not a combo, single.Okay, good.A chicken, no cheese.Okay, so two sandwiches.One's a double smash.That's right.
03:51With the chickens. That's two sandwiches. It was a double smash with cheese.Of course. And another sandwich. And another sandwich. No cheese. No cheese on that second one, though.
04:00All right.Macaronian cheese, though.Small side of macaroni and cheese.Small mac and a mac and cheese.All right.And that's got to be it.I got a strawberry milkshake.I said.
04:12Medium.Medium.Medium.By the way.Not I'm not doing it.He's not a gavern.I mean, I'm not going to get crazy. So wait, two sandwiches, a side and a milkshake.
04:23But the side.And you were doing that two days a week?It could get up there.I don't, I'll do the milkshake once a week.All right.Once a week with the milkshake.Now, here's my next question.It's a serious question.
04:35Did you have, do you have breakfast on these days, and do you have dinner also on these days? No, that's dinner. That's dinner. That's dinner. But have you eaten earlier in the day, or is this all you're eating for the day?I probably just had my breakfast, the yogurt and.Okay.A yogurt boiled egg, and then about 4,000 calories.
04:58Including just tons of saturated fat.I mean.Yeah.Oil, sauce. And the reason I put it in that frameworkis because there is a world where like, you know, let's say you only had the double smash burgerand the milkshake.
05:13You know what I mean? And it was only once or twice a week.We probably wouldn't, it wouldn't sound as crazy. No, it's, to me, it was the factthat there was so much in there that made me go.Are you hungry?Like, are you really that hungry?Like, you're, keep at,
05:26because I'm, I'm going to say this right now, someone who's been dieting successfullyand unsuccessfully my entire life.I could tell you one thing that people havealways gotten wrong. You know the joke people love? They love the, oh, I go to McDonald'sand I get a big mac of fries and a diet Coke.
05:43And they laugh. They're like, ha, ha, you get a Diet Coke.It doesn't matter.Nah, it does.Okay.A large regular Coke is another 400 calories and 50 sugars. That stuff does matter. So like if you want to have a cheap meal and you're like,
05:58I have a burger and a water and that's it,but I got my burger fix.That's right.It's bad.but it's better.Yeah, yeah, yeah.It makes a difference, though.That's how I do it.
06:09Yo, the sugar is a problem.Like, Coke is a problem. The sauces are a problem, too, guys. And the milkshake. The milkshake is, you know, a problem. It's a lot of fat. It's a lot of sugar. It's all in there.
06:19So I was worried when I heard the amount, like, not just the burger, but the chicken sandwich. So you're having four pieces of bread. Then the mac and cheesemay be the least healthy thing on the damn menu.Mac and cheese is, whoa. And then to worship it.
06:34down with a worseto worse shit on down with a big oldshake medium not a large mediumget that right it's just it worriedso is it really two days a week we're sono it's normally a one day okayall right all right well you've onlybeen on this journey for six
06:52months right hasn't even been six months maybemaybe a little bit less than a little I thinkyeah like four or five yeah soso you say mostly one day a weekso there's been likeit's been like 24four different moments over the lastseveral months that you've had this
07:12exorbitant amount of caloric intake as well as sugarsand what have you. And you know that and by the waythe reason I frame it that way is because you know that's attic behavior. You're going in there to get high. Oh yeah, bro. No, it is not. You're goingto get high, baby. You're on yourChris Rock, pokey, as your mouth high. I would sayI usually get the one double smash. If I'm getting a chicken sandwich, it's because I didn't eat all day.
07:42And I am very hungry.I think somebody said that.So those are the, that's the only time I really double up.Do you guys he says legitimately?Like Seif usually says it as a joke.He legitimately says sandwich.Sangellage, yeah. The fuck is a sandwich, my God.
07:57Sandwich?It's cool. It's wild that people say.And are you being serious?Yes, King Lou on the sandwich.Well, no, I just wanted to say, Tierra the DR gave us $20.just to tell Rassan to get your cholesterol and your heart checked.Have you gotten that checked recently?
08:11Cholesterol heart checks. Not recently.Well, what's not recent? In a year? No, but I had to go for my birthday when I was nervous and my foot swallowed up.Oh, no, that's recent. So you recently did? That's recent.
08:25So what did the cholesterol and...Everything was good. They said everything. But they didn't do a full heart check. You just did a cholesterol. They didn't do an echo, EKG and all that. They did an EKG.EKG.
08:35Okay.That's peaceful.I will say that if my foot ever swore up unexpectedly.Yeah.And I went to a doctor and they told me nothing was wrong.I'd fire them.I don't know if they told them nothing was wrong. It just wasn't his cholesterol, right?
08:50And it wasn't the same day.Okay.Like it was like two days after the swallow off.Well, let's start here. You wouldn't ever wait two days after your foot.Let me tell you guys something right now.I am dealing with the most nothing symptoms.and I am in every doctor and MRI tube in New York right now.
09:10And I'm the same. This light tingling I've been having in my fingers that I'm pretty sure is coming from the back. That's right.Which actually yesterday was fascinating. So I ordered this Japanese pillow, which has the dip in it because let me tell you something.Don't listen to the tech guy at the place.Wait and talk to your doctor. The tech guy was like, yo, I'm seeing right now in your x-ray, your neck is straight.
09:31You might want one of those Japanese pillows where your head goes back. There's a reason. He's not the doctor.Yeah, no, that over time has actually made me in more pain, and now I'm getting the tingling, which I was never getting before. So my doctor said that my pain doctor, I was telling him,I was like, I'm starting to get a tingle now, too, which I didn't have before. He was like, I'd prescribed you some molyxicam, you know, the anti-inflammatory.
09:51He's like, do run the inflammatory, anti-inflammatory for a few days. It'll probably chill out.It has.Funniest thing is, though, Alan Hahn taught me the stretch that he loves before bed, right?where he lays down, like up against the wall, scoot your ass all the way up to the wall, legs up on the wall.Yo, the second I did it yesterday,
10:10my fingers started to tingle. It was such a wild, like the way your body is connectedand the nerves are connected is wild.Really, the way your body's connected.Yo, no, it's interesting. It's interesting how it works. It's interesting how your body's connected.
10:21So I've been working on the,you know, I'm going to the pain doctorstarting with the trainer tomorrow.I'm trying to get into PT,doing all the little thingsbecause the back has had a,I've had mild back pain.Yeah.
10:31And I don't feel like going down. You've never lived with discomfort ever. And I don't want to.Mild for you is a big deal.Well, I don't like it.And I see the way my mom is and my uncle, God bless the poor guy, has legitimately from his back problems.Yo, he's three inches shorter.Like by the time, yo, he's, I was going to make a cheap King Lou joke.
10:50But it's going the wrong way. That's the point. So I don't want to have these issues and I need to do the work.See?I didn't make it because I respect him. Now, the heart thing.I went to the heart dot.Iber recommended soren medical.
11:02Oh yeah, that's right. You got the scan?Got the scan.Okay.And my scan was not completely clean.Oh.Oh.It was not worrisome.
11:11And I didn't, I took the blood work. You had some cloudy plaque in there.I had some, I had a, I think she said the plaque score was 39.Okay.Which is like. What's that? It's on the lowest end of mild.Okay.
11:23It means there she saw two spots where there's a little bit, nothing resembling a blockage, but where where you're,You can see some calcification. It's gotten hard. It's gotten hard. It's gotten hard. It's gotten some movement. But now the movement stopped.
11:37Oh, nice.So it's just locked in there. So I have a call with her Thursday about what I should be doing.Yeah.How I can, you know, come back this and make sure.Anyways, I'm saying all of this to say. This is all based on paranoia.Mm-hmm.
11:53Having a child and not wanted to die.Yep.Ebro mentioned that there's a place that takes insurance.Mm-hmm.That they'll scan your heart.you know what I mean so why not do itif my footblew up to the size of an
12:06eggplant I don't knowguys you might have not seen me for six monthsI would have been like I can't even liveI gotta go to an island so you gottaget over here to soren medicalRusan you know your LDLclestoral numberwe gotta get the LDL looked at
12:22well they didn't know your number you don't know youryou don't know your LDL numberI don't remember my number for my last oneit's either not an issue or you just ain't paid attentionBut he would know if they would have told him if he's fine, like if it's not a thing.Right, right, that's what I'm saying. So it means because I'm guessing they would have told him if there's a big LDL problem.I'm sure.
12:39But guys, there's a lot of people like Rassan.Rassan's not the only one.I grew up with a dad.I struggle with my partner.I know so many people who just do not want to go to the doctor. No one wants to go.It's scary.I don't like it.
12:51People that go don't want to go.Yes.I don't like being there, but I need to know what's going on.I had to go in a little. It was like it wasn't a full tube like the other MRIs, but it was like, you know, you're into the tube. This is a soren medical thing. At soren, they stick to IV in.
13:05Then they run the contrast liquid through so your whole body feels numb and itwarm and it feels like you're peeing your pants. It's not comfortable. Is your head outside?Your head's outside.Okay.Now I feel better.Heads outside.
13:17But like, I got something for you.My head was inside and the other ones though.I've never had it done.I'm terrified. You've never had an MRI?Uh-uh.Listen, as you get older and I've been getting MRI since the 90s because.my knee issues and surgeries.
13:33Start, put yourself in the closet, close the door. No, it's not that, though. No, no, no, I'm telling you.Or lay in a small space that you're uncomfortable with in a controlled space. It's really not because you could see out both sides. So it's not like you can, you can see out from your feet and you can see out from the top.So it's not even that dramatic. You know what I'm saying?
13:52Don't listen to him.Just talking about it, my heart is bad.I know, but don't listen to him.Listen to me.Why?Because you're not.I've had more in my eyes.Yeah, but you're obviously not scared of it.
13:59But I just helped somebody who was scared. And they said, and I said, hey, yo, find a small place in your house that. And that helped them? And it completely helped them. And they're going through a whole thing where they have to have tons of MRIs.And they're like, this helped me tremendously.By going in their closet?
14:14Well, no, they actually did something I didn't suggest. They were laid under their table and like laid under their table for a long period of time. And it was like, yo, I think I got this. And it was before they had ever had an MRI.And I was just like, the only way you can do, I mean, look, you can go get hypnotized. You can go to pay a therapist. You can do those things too,but you could quickly just put yourself in a space
14:33that's uncomfortable and sit there and relax.I don't.For me, it's not as simple as the space. It's the idea that it's a machine that has you in there. And if something, no.No, my gosh.It always goes to a different place. It's just going to shrink.
14:48Not at all.No.And there's people right there.Like, it's not even like you're by yourself. To me, it's that, to me it's if God forbid something happenedand everyone, there's a nuclear attack, everyone leaves, and I'm stuck in the machineforever. That's what scares me.
15:01How about this, though? I tell my dad, why wouldyou be stuck in the machine from? Becausethere's a nuclear attack and everyone left. But you can't get up, you can get up.Nuclear attack or my machine drinking. It would be hard to get out. Why? Because it's tight, bro. You could slide out.You can like, you can like put your arms.
15:17The only reason they tell you... You can't put your arms. You can't get your arms up.Yes, you can. I've done it. I've literally done it. That was a different machine. The machines are different sizes. Some machine... Yo, Rory told me when he had his,his joint was so close he said he saidhe said it was the smallest one he's ever seenit was so close to his noseand because he was in the middle of going throughwhat he was going through it was a head scan
15:38head scan right and they couldn't give him anythingbecause they needed a clear look at it yeah it was i was like bruhthat scared the hell of me but so some are bigger than others i guess so i thoughtthey were all the same i didn't know they had them for you i didn't know they didspecific ones around your your head i told my dad my fear my dad's had a lot ofof them he had a thing here years ago that had to be so he did a ton of them he said he did oneand when he got out there had been an earthquake during it the only notable dc earthquake in thelast 30 years my dad was in the tube when it happened the worst thing about an MRI machine for me
16:17is the fact that you barely can't like twitch your finger what what do you mean because it's takingpictures it's taking magnetic pictures you don't want it you can't it's your face so you can'tmove because if you moveit blurs the picture and then they got to start all overagain and I'm like yo this hasn't been improved you guysthere's pictures going on everythere's so many pictures happening you guys haven't found a better wayto take pictures a different kind of picture no that's to be
16:41the bigger issue is how they're not figured out the soundthe sound what sound what sound? What sound? Oh the terrifying horror movienow when I'm in there they play I listen to shoday and bob sothey're giving you music I always get musicevery MRI I've had since the 90s is like yo you want to listen some musicthey put some headphones on.I'm gonna need that.Last two, I didn't get music.
17:02Just a sound. And I'm like, really? Why?I don't think this is helping people who are scared.Anyways.No, lay under a table.Apparently, Ibra says laying on a table. For me, oh, this last time the lady
17:14gave me, she put a little mirrorabove my face.Take a look at yourself. No, the mirror reflects the other way.So when you look straight up at the mirror, you see out past your feet.Oh, okay. And that really helped.
17:27Okay.And I closed my eyes.So I closed my eyes, but then when I opened them, I would just see the mirror and see my feet.Yeah.And I'd see her in the distance, and that helps. But make no mistake.MRIs are annoying.Yeah, the point is Bascom and everybody.
17:40Nobody wants to do this health stuff, bro.I was scared and I was disappointed. She didn't say it was completely clean. But at the same time, she was like, yeah, but isn't this why you're here? And I'm like, yeah.To learn if I had anything I need to work on.Well, you also now have a person, right? So that's the other part.
17:57Like, you know, heart disease is my whole family's history. Both sides. My mother died of a heart attack.Father died of a heart attack.Heart disease.Like, I don't know, there's no, I don't know anybody in my immediate family that's evergot a cancer.Wait, your dad was a heart attack?
18:11Well, he had diabetes. But he had diabetes really bad and had a heart attack on the dialysis machine.Got it.So, but diabetes is, you know, related to heart. You know, cholesterol, heart disease, all that kind of stuff. So, but that's my whole thing. So that was the reason I went to store medicine.in the first place.
18:27Right.Was because it was like,yo,I got a,what are people doing proactively?I did my own,you know, did my own research,
18:34did some Googles. What are people doingproactively that like help youmonitor your heart?Monitor. And then like right nowI'm trying to figure out likepancreas and liver
18:44and kidneys and like, are you going to do?Are you going to go to one of those placesthat does the full body scan?I've been wanting to do that.Yeah.No,I haven't done that yet.
18:51But I've heard so.Per Nuvo. You know they do have mixed reviews though.Yeah.So a lot of people like, you're just going to find things. They're going to find things that...I asked my doctor about it,
19:00and she's like, look, if you could get it for, like, cheapor a freebie, do it.But pay for it.She's like, I don't think it's necessary.Well, to Rosenberg's point, you get the body scan, the full body scan, and then they find something. Now you got to go digging for the something.
19:17But don't you want to dig for the something?Yeah, well, it depends. It's like looking through text messages. You're going to find something.I want to know.Well, no, meaning like it could be a benign, tumor, let's say, it's a benign tumor. But they got to go cut on you to go get it.
19:29You know what I'm saying? So wherever it is,they're going to have to go get it. And you could taketons of tests that will give you all the numbersto say, is your body whatever? Some people do it, though. And they're like, listen, especially if you're older, right? And you're already down that path of havingtumors and, what is that?
19:48Biopsies. Not fun. And all of these otherthings, then, you know, that's your path. For me, I did all of the diagnosticsof everything.Still got to do the colonoscopy, guys.I'm scheduling it for December.I don't understand why we've waited so long for your colonoscopy.Just travel schedule.
20:04No, but like, it's just ridiculous. They've been going back and forth on what the damn age is for so long. You're past 50 now.Yeah.My doctor, because of my health history and the tests, they've done, they're like, look, you need to go get it, but you're fine.My doctor was like, let's go now.I actually have that. You have a history, though, right?
20:24Mine's this week?Yes, this week?Yes, to me?No, don't be nervous. It's nothing to be nervous about. It's local.I mean, except for the fact that all health thingsmake people nervous, which is totally reasonable.
20:33Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. But, like, you're going to do to a lotand then they put a little thing in your butt, you're good. And then how long do they knock you out for? It's like 20 minutes, but it feels like hours. That's what I'm scared. You wake up and you're like, ooh, man.Is that why you were like, oh, man,
20:46or was it the thing in your butt?You know what?I don't know.You don't know.You don't know.That's what I'm saying.You don't know.You don't know.
20:54Well, guess what?maybe I liked it.No,it's usually,they usually have you off the Michael Jackson,the Propofal.Oh my God.No,
21:02why are you scared of PropaFol?I don't know before. There's a reason he did it every daybecause it's great. That's what everybody says.Rosen.Everyone's doing it, Laura, now it's fire.
21:10Probefall's fine.I don't know why I am so scaredof going under.I don't know. But no, hold on.But no, hold on.You're scared of everything. You're scared of dreams.
21:18You're scared of MRI.No, but this one is different. You're scared of.Propofal.Propofal.Spores.Hold on.Real quick,
21:24this is important for you to understand.Okay.I don't know a lot,but this is important.Okay.Propofal is the antithesis of truly going under. So if God forbid, you needed a real procedure,
21:38like when I had my appendix out.Yeah.They put you under under.Yeah, yeah.Like, it's like, hey, sign this in case you die.Right, right, right.Hopefully you won't.You shouldn't, but you're giving you drugs
21:49to put you out.Right, right, right. That is going under.Right.Propofal puts you into sleep.Okay.Like you're not under. You're drowsy and sleepy.
22:01So it's actually the safe alternative.Okay.The only reason Michael Jackson died is because that man probably killed that dude.Like he should not have died from that.Doing it every day for long periods of time. But they said that shouldn't even been an issue. It was how much they gave him right then. You could really do.
22:17If you had the access to it, is it healthy?Probably not.But he never should have died.Right. The doctor was completely negligent.Yo, the ill is when you have like,so I've had obviously multiple needs surgerieswhen you go completely underand you wake up during surgery,
22:33you're mad cold, bro.Wait, that happened? You woke up during?Yeah, like, I woke up and I was like, and they put you right back, but I've woken up several times. And they immediately, like, oh, he's upand put you back down.Yeah, put me back down.
22:44So you wake up, you're kind of cold. The other ill part is, you know, well, you've had epidural, right?Yes, I did.I don't know how it is for pregnant.with me, but when I had knee surgery, you give you an epidural, you wake up, your legs ain'tworking. Well, no, I have a, I had a walkable epidural. Yeah, I have that, bro. So I woke up andthey're like, so listen, your legs don't work. You'll get feeling back in your legs. I was like,
23:08how you know? I know. Have you ever sat there and you can't move your toes? It's insane. No,no, what about numb from the neck down? My G. Oh, no. That was you? Yes, I had a C-section.I was numb from the neck down. So you could. You could. You could. You could. You could. You could. You couldn't move at all.No.And I could see.Yo, bro, the craziest thing was getting wheeled into the operating room. And there's this big brolic dude that picks you up because you're dead weight, basically, you know.
23:35And he moves you to the operating table. And you just feel like you're falling and you're like, I might die right now.It is the most insane feeling in the world.Laura, if you've done that, if you've done that. But I was a wakey, bro.No, no, no.But if you've done that, pro pro pro pro pro.I mean, you were awake, but you couldn't move.
23:52By the way, legitimately, this is nothing. You go in, they count back from 10, you're asleep by 6,and then you wake up feeling kind of rested and groggy and like, hmm. And they're like, hey, cool, we got it.We got your results. All right, see you later. At this point, I'm looking forward to my knee surgery coming up now.
24:09By the way, this is always a joke on the Kay Show.Used to always make this joke.Because this is the jokes you make when you were a couple older guys. Can't wait for the colonoscopy and get a good nap.Oh, my God.Yeah, I'm looking forward to the knee surgery.I'm going to come out a little bit of sweat a couple weeks.I ain't got to have pain no more, man.
24:23I mean, which is cool, yeah. You know what I'm saying? It's like, yo, I, yo, I've been in pain in my knees for over a decade.I'm like life?Yeah, really.Life.Like some sort of something forever and ever.Laura, you ready for the rundown?
24:39Yes, wait, what does it say?Gryph said after Rosenberg's colonoscopy comments, people are mentioning him and Kevin again in the chat. What, people think me and Kevin are having a fair?Well, they saw your Googling. And they saw that you got really lit up with Kev and you enjoyed having it as a feeling and they think you guys have a little thing going. That is so dumb.Louis, they said I have a crush on.The chat thinks he have a crush on Kev.
25:02Why?I mean, I love Kev.But why?Because I was like engaging with him and trying to like have fun?Yeah. You were very into his personal life.Oh, my God.Oh, because I wanted, yo, I was fascinated to find out that he had a child and stuff.
25:17I thought it was really interesting.Okay.That's it.That's it.You were interesting. They said you were out yesterday because he kept you a blade outside.Okay, all right.Listen, I like Kevin a lot, but if I were gay, it wouldn't be Kevin.
25:29Really?No.Oh, geez. You want to get, you guys want to go down this path with him and say, well, if you were gay,who would be exact?Or do you guys want to do the run down? You know, no, it's Jackson from Sons of Anarchy. You already know that.
25:41Oh, that's right.My guy.What's his name in real life?I forget.Charlie Hunnam.There you go.Oh, yeah, and your Medchrist is the rock.Yeah, but I'm.
25:50No, he's phased out of it, though.Rock's older now. It's over.I mean, he's kind of old at this point, you know?Damn, you're like that. But that was more admiration.I didn't want to hold his hand and cuddle, though.I don't want to, I said if I was getting.
26:02All right. All right.Let's focus.Jeez God.All right. So, too short is apologizing. After receiving backlash over his comments on Diddy. So he did an appearance.
26:17I don't even know he made comments on TMZ.All right.on the TMZ podcast that, you know, he wasn't turning his back on Diddy and planned to attend hiswelcome home celebration.Okay.So this is the video that he put out afterwards, after Backlash.I want to thank all the people that called me yesterday, text me, hit me up about this TMZPuff Daddy thing.
26:37I was a little insensitive with my words.I said that I didn't condone what he did to Cassie, but I would go to his party if he camehome. And I really didn't know the full extent of the case.I did not know that there were a lot of women who had claimed that they had been abused by Puff Daddy and how it affected them.I do not condone abuse in any kind of way, not emotional, not physical, not sexual, and I don't support anybody that does it.I want to say, I'm sorry to the people that were hurt by the words that I said.I have listened, I have learned, I've read up on it, I am more informed, and I'm telling you now that I have a daughter.
27:19to my daughter to my daughter's mother to my mother rest in peace to my stepmother to mycousins nieces aunties all of them all of the women in my life all the women in general it's not ablack thing this is all women across the board i do not support abuse or abusers and i just want tosay i'm sorry for putting those words out there anything i said hurt anybody i really do regretit and i hope that you understand when i say i'm going to go to his pointto his party. I was talking about the parties that he throws for his friends. Not any party whereis fucking baby oil or some goddamn sexual shit. I've been to dozens of his parties and neveronce have I seen a naked person or a sexual act. These are parties where people socialize.
28:07They're great parties. You want to get on the list. Everybody wants to get in. But now everybody'ssaying that every party he threw was a sex party. It was not like that ever, ever, ever. I neverYou know, shit like that. And I hope that when my brother comes home that he has grownbecause just in a short period of time of me dealing with this,I feel like I've grown a lot.I've learned a lot.And I hope that when he comes home,
28:28short, that he's not going to music anymore. So once again, apologies to all the people, male, female, who are offended by my words.Someone said hostage.Wait a minute. And then two short said, bitch.Beach.Um, no.
28:45I'm thinking of.all the two short lyrics I know about.No, don't do this.Don't, don't do this.And I wanted to say that when he said,say ho,can I ask you a question?Bump, you like to fuck.
28:58Oh, let me not talk to you like that. You like to make love.He definitely asked the question.Right.It wasn't abuse.Nope.And I'm thinking through all the other, you know, freaky tales.
29:09There are some lines that are not going to age.Great.There are.But it's not abuse lines. Is it?I think there's some bitches getting slap.I think there's some pimped talkBecause there's pimping and a hole in it
29:20Well that's what I'm sayingI mean I don't thinkI didn't know offense to too shortI didn't believe all the storiesI thought they were storiesI thought I thoughtFreaky tales are tailsThat's how I took it
29:30But no by the wayEven though it went too longAnd they should have chopped him down a little bitYou know Instagram has it nowThey have their own little app you can useIt'll cut things down a bit for youI do appreciateThe full throated apology
29:44Like he really was likenot I'm apologizing.Well, yeah, but I think somebody like too sure who is known for his freaky tales.Yeah.And his music about such. That's why I said, you know, as vulgar as his music has always been and we've all enjoyed it.I don't think that abuse or non-consensual acts were ever a part of the aesthetic. No, no, I don't think so either.
30:13I was glad to hear him say that. And I always say it's like five. They're dumb. It's like Keith Murray.Make a million dollars, but it ain't no hurry. You know what I mean? You see what I'm saying.Cuss words.
30:24Let them roll.Motherfucking shit, goddamn asshole.I'm so prolific.Bars, bro.No, good for too short.Yes.In other news, this is what's going around the internet.Drake is one of the leading candidates to headline Coachella, which I think is fitting.
30:40You dropped, you know.Wait, wait, wait. When did Coachella become candidates? When did he's running for office? They were just like, because it's Drake, it's Cizza, it's radio head.So it's like a thing where they're, everybody. No, I'm really at it.Is this a new thing that Coachella's doing where people vote on who they want to be the
30:57headliner?I think it's just everyone just in the conversation.Oh, okay.So that's it.Leading, because it's definitely.I mean, I think it should be.No, no, no.I've never heard, have you, unless I've been missing and it's happened,
31:08have you guys ever heard where there's a leading candidate to perform at Coachella? No, sounds like. The names always are thrown around.and be like who is the favorite.I'm okay, but this headline saysDrake and Sizzar are reportedly finalists.Finalist. I've never heard finalists.Ebro's right. I've never heard finalists.
31:26This is new. Let me ask you a question. And I'm telling y'all it's marketing, which fine, Coachella do your marketing. Why wouldn't it be Drake and Siza?I mean, I understand them throwing radio head in there just to like diversify. Why isn't it damn two weekends? Why can't we have all three? You're charging $9,000 a ticket. Are there three weekends? No, there's two weekends.
31:46There's two weekends, but I'm saying, why not three?Why couldn't it be Drake, Siza, and radio?Like, I don't understand.Drake should be the one, though.What you think?Well, why?I guess Drake should.No, why can't they, I don't understand.
32:00That's all I'm saying.Well, I'm guessing why.I didn't know.I didn't know there was a, I didn't know we had to vote.I didn't know.Usually it's based, usually what I, what I've observed is it makes sense based on wherethey've been at when they've been dropping albums, et cetera.Bro, this is just Coachella doing some great marketing.
32:15I agree.but we're just playing along here.It is.But I would think,well,why Cizza this year?Is she dropping again?Maybe.
32:22Oh, it's April. It would be next April. So between now and then, maybe Cizza does put out new movies.I hope she does. But yeah,I think Drake, you know,
32:29he dropped a lot of stuff this year. Why not?Drake, listen, and he hasn't toured officiallyyet around Iceland. There's been no tour announcement. So maybe this is the thing.Or maybe he'll do a bunch of them.
32:40A bunch of,like, world festivals. The festival.Next year, yeah.Listen,he's put out a lot of great music. So why not?Go for it. In other news, New York Attorney General Letitia James is being asked to personally step aside from the criminal investigation into the Cornell University case, the Cornell 7 case. I mean, you know, we all heard that Kathy Hochle just appointed her. But of course, it's one of the attorneys of one of the seven former fraternity brothers. Basically, the request is being made because of a Facebook post that she put out. In the Facebook post, she said, you know, describing what the
33:15woman had been forced to endure was horrific and unacceptable and told her followers,we stand with you.So they feel like, yeah, this is, you know, this is bias.Okay, fine.Isn't the main problem here with this case, New York state law?Yes, that's one of the biggest problems. That's the main problem.Yeah, yeah.
33:40With prosecuting, because I know in California, if you are intoxicated,You cannot give consent.Correct.That's the law.Yes.Okay.So, and I don't know all the other states.New York is more gray.
33:56But now there's also an argument.I'm not saying this argument's legitimate, but the argument that the defense of the guys is going to be,that she wasn't intoxicated. And that phone call came out yesterday of Jane Doe talking to the ringleader of these people. And she's like, like I was effed up when I got there. And he's like, nah, you said you were sober.
34:20She was like, no, I did not.I said I was coming from the barwhere I was at a sorority functionand I was already hammered when I got there. And you could see he's already tryingto cover his tracks that timeand say that she was not intoxicated. But yes, the main people...
34:34Wait, and the phone call was recorded.Yes.Which means someone knew they were...He recorded it. Right.Which means that he already knewthat it was a problem.Correct.Because who just records phone calls.
34:44Right.And by the way,in that phone call when she's like, why were there, and they don't play her side of it,someone reads her side of it,but when she says, why were there, who were the people there?
34:56Like she's like,I remember my eyes opening and being like, there are too many people here. What's going on?He's like, yeah, the party was crowded.People started coming into different rooms. At no point does he go,
35:07well,I posted an invitation on Snapchatwith a picture of you naked for people to see.And it said free pee.Yeah.That gets left out.He just says, you know, it's a big party. But once again, how does this play into what the laws are?
35:22Well, the laws, to your point, is flawed in that if she was intoxicated, she can still have consented.Right.Even though she's like, no, I don't even remember what happened. It'll be interesting to see because I think that they're discovering like all these holes in,you know, in the information that was provided, a lot of information that was omitted. So I think, listen, the person was going to get to the bottom of this,Letitia James.
35:47Well, here's my thing on it.And I tell young men this all the time.Stop fucking thinking that this is some online porn worldwhere you just get to, you and your buddies get to reenact sex acts with young girls, man.Stop.Stop. Stop it. Stop it. Stop it. I've always felt this way.Dudes think, oh, she said it was cool.Bro. It doesn't work like that.
36:14It does not work like that. The minute it's over, she could change her mind. And what did you do?Right. And by the way, like, why don't you just think of it from the perspective of, and I know this is hard for a young person, do you think people would think this was a dope thing to do in general?Like, if your family were to hear about it, if anyone were to hear about it, that you and six dudes all had your joints out on a, with one woman.Would anyone be like, oh, wow. That sounds like a really fun activity.
36:47And she consented, oh, that's great.Yeah, that's all that's awesome. So you said it was you and your friends. You were all standing there with your joint in your hand. That's interesting. Now, listen, I'm not saying you'd even want to tell your parents about sex with one person, but I don't think you'd be embarrassed.I'm like, oh, you met a girl and something happened.
37:02Cool.This is, by all objective things, weirdo behavior.Super weirdo.Super weirdo. And sometimes what you find to be a turn on in porn, there should be maybe a disconnect between that in your real lifeof like that's a behavior now I want to emulatewell it also is like you guys know that those are like actors
37:24right they're being paid to put on shows for your deviant you know fantasyyeah and there are people standing there holding cameras and there are people to wipe themdown and makeup people it's not just life happening that's weirdo stuffit's weirdo I've never got and I said this one you were out you bro for me on the mostbasic level. And as you know, considering five minutes ago, I was just talkingabout who I would like if I were gay.I'm not like, you know, that prude
37:51about talking about these things. It's wild gay to me to want to have sex with otherdudes hard dicks right next to you. That's weird to me.And it's also wild behavior too to like you're juststanding in line, bro. Like what do we do?It's wild, bro. It's wild.Even what was the thing? The guru we had a few months ago?Remember the whole lifestyle and the whole like
38:11sex parties? I'm not in theand none of that, bro.I'm not going in a room or a houseor joining a club.Wait, so hold on,are you telling me there are rappers out thereand on people.I don't want to specify rappers,
38:23but these are who I knowwho might do what I'm about to say,who might say pausebecause they say somethingthat sounds accidentally questionable.Yeah.But they sit and actswhile they are aroused
38:35and turned onand their friend is on the other sideof the woman aroused and turn.Wait, how did you jump to rappersare doing this?Because I'm just thinking about the pause.thing and the like, ah, we hit her off, train. That's all, that's been there in wrap for a long time.
38:50You can't say pause and also look at your man knowinglywhile y'all are aroused and having sex with someone. That's beyond pause. And they're like just swapping bodily fluid.Yo, you're ducking, your boy. What are you doing?Listen, I'm not here to kink shame, but I am here to tell you, man.Stop.
39:08What are you doing?Y'all got to stop trying to reenact porn. You know what I mean?Y'all got to stop.as I said that a day one we talked about it,you know, I don't have a son yet.I don't know if I ever will, but like the idea that you would raise your son
39:19and he would walk into that situationand rather than walk away or tell them to stopor be like, this is bad,we're just like, oh, I'm gonna pull my joy now. That's a failure as a parent. You raised a boy who wasn't ready for the moment. They weren't ready for prime time. And there's also a lot of young people,
39:36boys and girls, and, you know,I'm having conversations with my 12-year-old,you know, now.We in that time, y'all, where the desire to be a part of the cool collective, because remember, there's a frat house.Yeah.So these are people who have opted in to join a group so that they could be a part of a social environment so that they can feel accepted.Sure.Right.
40:02That is what the whole thing's about.Yeah.A lot of it is that. And so there are young people will always struggle with that.being able to say this isn't what I stand for and if you guys are really my friends and I'm tellingyou that I don't like this you're not going to ridicule me for that right because friends wouldn'tridicule friends if some and people who truly care about you if you say this ain't my thing broI'm not interested they would be like yo then you need to go on and you know because we are yeah
40:33you know what I'm saying or a friend trying to stop another friend from doing something thatthey know could potentially harm the rest of their lives. And you being like, yo, bro, I love you.I'm not letting you do this.I don't like this and I'm not letting you do this. That's some real friend behavior.Your real friends are not going to ostracize you because you stood on businessabout something that was morally wrong.
40:55In fact, on a bizarre level, it brings us back to the Nolan Wells case of like,if he was really drunk and was like, I'm staying here and doing my own thing.Yo, good friends.Like, nah, bro. You're coming with us and you don't leave.Absolutely.That's like so many of these situations that's so critical is that you have friends who are like, nah, we don't.Because they, she was at, it was at a party, right?
41:17Like, were there other people who saw that she was dancing with multiple guys and was about to go upstairs? And you see that she's drunk and has multiple guys with her?So I've seen, I've seen multiple influencers that I follow who went to Cornell, who say that this frat has a history that everyone knows.Yeah, I saw that too.Really?Yeah.that like legit people were like yeahnah I learned when I got to Cornell
41:44that if you go to their partiesthis is the type of things that are going onyeah and people are likeand I went there six years agothis isn't like a new phenomenon rightand by the way it's in many collegesmany universities this is something that happensmore common than you think like when I speak to my girls
42:01who are in college and we talked about thisthey were like yeah in differentdifferent variations of itbut it happens more than people think and everyone on their side because of shame they don't want to talkabout it and the school definitely doesn't want to address it well and then you find out that the kidsin this frat or this sorority's parents are big donors and the school doesn't want to jeopardize the moneythat they're getting from these families nobody wants to press the political capital that they getfrom this fraternity because a lot of the uh you know people in this frat are politicians and powerful people
42:37et cetera, et cetera, et cetera. So it dovetails into all the kind of societal issues that we have with a lot of our thingswhen it comes to justice and fairness because of political influence, elitism and, you know, money and all of that type of stuff. So I'm sure that's in here somewhere with regard to how this case was dealt with. And remember, I mean, Cornell's an Ivy League school.People just pretend and assume like, oh, my kids are going to a good school.well, they've got it.
43:06They've obviously been on point. They did well with their grades, but that doesn't mean they're together. You know another piece of this storythat really like, God, it just gets worse each time.I read that she, after all of this happened, she asked to go home and heal. They paid for this,
43:25and it's very expensive that the school would not allow her. They wouldn't give her money back.If she were to go home and heal, she loses a semester. So she was forced to stay in school andAnd see them dudes because they didn't get expelled either. Two were gone, right?Yeah.
43:42And the rest were there. It's awful, bro.Yeah.We're going to see.But I think, you know, as voters, if this is an issue which I think most of us arepassionate about, we need to pay attention to what the New York state law is.Yes.And that's what needs to change.
44:01That specifically is what needs to change. And I've heard that they've been trying to.do this and nobody has been successful. So maybe now it gets momentum.Yeah.Unfortunately, it always takes a horrific incident for people to wake up, but, you know, maybewe're here now.Yeah, I mean, this is a huge.
44:15I'm trying to remember the last, this story is so big.Like the last story like this, that was this big a deal. This is such a huge national story, you know.It should be.And I hope it highlights, you know, things happening on other campuses, right? And we're women, and I'm sure men, too, are dealing with this kind of.of behavior and assault. Now, did the right wingers yet make a fund
44:39to defend the boys yet?I have no idea. You know that's coming. Not sure, but I've heard all of the, you know, the defense and everyone defending them, and there's like already one guy who is trying,he's trying his best to dox Jane Doe.Yeah, they're going to try to dox her, of course.
44:56Well, they're going to try to discredit her toobecause there was like in her testimonyor in the case from 2024,she said that she was like willing to be in a threesomewith one of the guys and was willing to do thatbut wasn't, I think the way I understand it wasn't okaywith this whole group setting.By the way, getting people understand that.
45:16There's the difference that you could sayyou want to have sex with two guys and even thoughyou're allowed to judge that and think, why would you do that? That doesn't mean that they can have seven, 10, 20.What's the difference? What? The difference is you choose what you want to do
45:31with your body.Well, and then they'll also talk about the drug usage.Oh, well, you did drugs. Now you deserve it.That's right.Yeah.So you know that's coming, though.I think Trump has already said the guys are never going to get a fair shake because of Tish James.
45:43Yep.So that's the beginning of the right wing.Let's start to line up next to the guys. And it'll end up being this political football, as we like to say.Well, once again, the law in New York, there's too much gray. And if we want this kind of atmosphere changed, you know, the ability to consent, you know, while intoxicated in California, you cannot consent while you're inebriated to some level or intoxicated.Shane said, Shane, oh no, sorry, I got that completely wrong.
46:17Shana Ed in our, in our chat, I'm botching.Shnade, Shonette, Shinehead.Shon.No one talks about Shinehead enough. They should.Shing Gamer.S-H-A-N-A-E-D-M-E.Chenade
46:32ShanadeShana Mead9983She said a lot ofSVU episodesAre about Ivy LeagueSchools and sexual harassmentYep
46:41Well this isn't just harassmentThis is abuseThis is abuseThis is essayI'm sorrySomeone saidK3 AVA saidI come from an era
46:53Where trains were ranI'm sorryThat wasn't an era broThat was you and your weird friendsOh my GodI'm probablyHow old are youI bet we're from
47:01the same era and it wasn't happening with my friends. So,nah, I'm from the era where trainswere ran is crazy. It's crazy town. Oh, wait, Danny from the staff just gave us money.Trains are still being run.Right, right now. It's not like there was just oneera. It's just whether or not
47:21these are consenting adults who have the ability to consent. And whether or not you think it's weird. And Ifall squarely into think it's weird. Not my thing. I'm not here to Kingshame but not my thing see that's the difference between me and you you're here to kick shame andI'm down for a king but what is it some I might shame some I'll say that's a good idea this one's a badidea I know I just would say Danny from the stuff said thanks for answering my guru I appreciate itoh no problem Danny well the next question I have you Danny is was helpful right right
47:50because it is a tough time for the the clip farmers and content makers on the internetLou you were telling us they changed someone recently on one of the tech platform youYouTube, what they change? So basically they're changing the algorithms, basically pushing more original creators over clippers and things like that.So similar to Instagram,I don't know if you know this, but like if you just take someone's post and repost it,
48:18that's just like Instagram won't allow that to be seen by the algorithm after time. You would have to take someone's contentand then add your content on top of said content to make it your original content.Right.Same thing on YouTube is what it sounds like. You can't just clip up other shows added to your channel. You know, it's crazy how many people have made a living.Yes.
48:36Stealing other people's content.Well, and I believe that the only reason YouTube and Instagram even give a shit at this point is because actual agencies, actual businesses, became marketing machines off clip farming. It became a marketing tactic. They didn't really care before that.Once it became something that businesses were like, oh, we're going to be able to monetizeclip farming. They were like, enough of that.
48:59You know what I mean?that's usually how it goes. You finished with the rundown? That was the rundown. There goes. All right, boom.Laura got the rundown.Turn that up.
49:07Oh.Screens don't glow when she pulled up.Headlines heavy, but we still cut up.See here.It says here, LeBron James gets access to fanatics helicopter as a part of his deal with the Sixers. You know, I saw someone post this recently, and I saw someone posting a video of his helicopter leaving Philly to come back, and they were just being like, why are you doing this?Like this is excessive and gross and dangerous and like just why.And it did cross my mind.
49:37Like, I don't know. There is something to be said.I know helicopter crashes are not common. There's something I think about a good amount because my wife has a history of going up in helicopter.Take pictures.Right, right.Since she had Maya, she's been more averse to it and done it a little bit but really gets way more anxious about it.But like, given the way Kobe passed.
49:56That's what people were bringing out.The idea that, like, you're going to do it all the time.Like, yeah, it's not likely to get into a crash, but you're taking them maybe every day, every other day, whatever. It just feels like unnecessary. It's not that far, bro.People are just worried, you know, they're just scared.I don't disagree. But is it that often, you're asking?
50:16Is it as often as we think because road games or being on the road?He won't be doing it at all.Right? He won't be doing it at all.I'm sure back-to-back nights.Like, do NBAs do back-to-back games still?Yeah, they're back-to-back.At home games, back-to-back home games.
50:32I'm sure he's not going to, you know, just stay it, you know, wherever he's going to stay in Philly,I'm sure.I think what this was a lot about was, I think, his kid, like his youngest daughter and his wife, I think, are in New York.So it doesn't, he's always on the road anyway. So I don't know if it's like he's doing it every day.But then again, I don't know.
50:52But I agree.like there is some fear. How much are you doing it?There is some fear because you have the Kobe situation. We would, and we nobody, I don't care how you feel about LeBron, want something bad to happen a little bit.Of course.I don't think that's a thing.
51:04And then there's just, yeah, the excessiveness of it.But I got news for you guys.LeBron's a, he can afford it.Yes.And I would say that, you know, while yes, excessive, you know, LeBron's one of the people that we watched earn a thing.it wasn't giving to himhe worked for this
51:27and if this is how he wants to spend his moneyI don't think it's grosswell it's also he's not spending moneyit's the fanatics hell right and there you goand they don't even have Michael Rubin's helicopterassumption there you go sobut I'll just say thisif it was very often
51:41like a couple times a weekit's really not that badto likebe driven from Philly to New Yorkin a luxury ass limo with spaceand being like you know what I'm sayingAnd there are ways to commute and have it be safer and still super comfortable. It's not that long a trip.
51:59Is our car safer than helicopter?Percentage-wise, I'm sure they would say, you're just as likely or more.I'm sure they would.Because I'll tell you what, that turnpike between New York and Philly and them trucks.I mean, that's where, you know, shot to our guy, Tracy Morgan, that was where his accident.Accidents happened on the turnpike, for sure.I feel like a helicopter ride repeatedly is more. How long is that helicopter? I think it's only like an hour too.
52:27Less like less like less. Well no less.I mean the drive is 90 minutes to two hours. Right. It's probably like half an hour. So it's probably 30, 40 minutes.Oh up, come down. Kind of.Ish. I'm good on it. I wouldn't want to be doing that every day.You guys ready for the gurus? Sure.Hey, yo, it's time for the gurus.Rosenberg. All right. You know you are a beautiful queen.
52:48Ebro. Don't ever play yourself. You're not a guru. The original gurus.at gmail.com, the original gurus at gmail.com.Where the gurus unite to fight for what's right.Burn the sage, Hebrew.Who's writing to us, Rosenberg?Who needs us?I was asked yesterday if I speak to Shani Culture still.
53:11Who on the show?I was like, y'all see Juanito all the time.Talk to cats for time, time, people to station, Nessa. We don't even see all them people flex.We were texting over the day.Shani? Nothing.I even talked to Mero and Kaz more than I talk to Shoney.Damn.
53:24Meabelle.Everybody more than Shawnee. No, Shawnee.I will say this. The original gurus at gmail.com.The original gurus at gmail.com.I reached out to Shawnee a week ago.And I was like, yo, bro.
53:38Like, what's up?Let's talk.He was like, I'm going to hit you later today. Then the next day I followed up like, damn, bro, or something like that. And he was like, nah, my bad.Yesterday got away today. That was like five days ago.No, he's bad at it.
53:50But he's always been.Let's be honest. He's always been bad at.It's, yeah, but I told you last time we talked about him.I love Shawnee.I miss him.He is one of those people. If you're not in his face all the time, at least as a dude, it's not, you're not hearing
54:03from.Yeah.All right.Let's get to the guru. All right. He's writing to us.Let's see.Lots of nice pleasantries about everybody.
54:13Congrats on Envision Fest, Laura, et cetera, et cetera.I'm a male.I'm 40.My lady is 41.We've been together for 16 years. We have three kids.19, 14, and 7.Let me get to my point.
54:27The main ongoing conflict issue. My lady hasn't worked in years.Odd jobs and lawsuit money have been her major contributions over the years.I've been the breadwinner. This isn't to take anything away from her doing her stay-at-home mom job. She's a great mother.Takes the kids to school, cook, shops, cleans, household organizer.Because of the financial instability, we've been living at her mother's house for well over 10 years.
54:52I've expressed my frustrations with our living conditions many times. Her mother helps sometimes with babysitting.Other than that, she's a 70-year-old woman that we're taking care of as well.My lady has made many promises about her finding work that never come to fruition.Any saving we build up always gets demolished with emergencies in life.I've been building my career.I've had a good job climbing that corporate ladder and making good money finally.Should be stated in my years of frustration, it led to you.
55:22to infidelity. Here we go. Unhealthy coping mechanism that involves sex, lies, and secrets. We've been doing couples therapy for over a year now. Communication has improved greatly.Overall goals are far from being achieved. I'm no longer cheating and we're in a good place, but the same story remains. I don't believe she's afraid to work, but still the lack of even tryinghas grown old. Do I give her more time to finally do what she says she will do? How much time is enough?I don't want to keep the same storyand stress as going into my 40s.How can I trust that she ever will?
55:59Hope this gets elected.Love you guys. Keep doing what y'all are doing.Hey man, that's, I was going to have one approach to this.I don't know how you guys felt. Before I got the old, it's been a yearsince I was cheating and I've stopped.Yeah, I threw it.Because let me tell you what you've lost the right to.
56:18Absolutely fucking everything.Like for a lot longer than you just, it's been a year, you're like, hey, babe, I know I was having sex with other women and I was out here coping because of your job issues.Right.I was so upset by it that my dick accidentally fell into this woman repeatedly. But, you know, what's up what you getting a job?Or women.Maybe it was a-huh.Women.
56:43Women.Mm-hmm.Women.But what's up about you getting a job?Bro, you lost all your credibility. And also you may be contributing to her depression, which is lacking, which is, and I'm calling it depression because a lot of times when people are unmotivated, it is tied to some form of depression.Yeah.You know what I mean?
57:03So you've, you know, if she is aware of this, because he said she found that she knows.Yeah, yeah.Yeah, they're in therapy. They're in couples therapy for a year.Yeah.And he hasn't been cheating.Right.So, you know, you may have contributed to her lack of motivation and her lack of desire to want to do better for herself.
57:20That was going on for a year's price.which he says was a contributing factor to him.Which I don't believe. No, no, no, listen.People definitely can make, you know, mistakes, let's call it.Sure.Because their partner has lost the sexy, right? Her lack of motivation, her lack of getting jobs.
57:43He's like, I don't, I'm not into this.I'm not turned on by her anymore.I'm not, I'm going to do something else.Let's say, women do it too, where their person is overweight.and laying on the couch playing video games all the time. And they're like, yeah, I slept with my coworker. You know what I mean?Whatever.
57:59It happens.I'm just saying, is it right? No.Does it happen?Yes.So there may have been other issues that she was dealing with also because, you know. There's obviously stuff going on.Stuff going on.
58:09But, yeah, you don't really have a leg to stand on with this kind of like hurried response. That's what I'm saying.I'm going to be like, I'm out on the relationship now.Yo, that's what I'm trying to say to you, bro. It's not that I'm saying you don't have the right to feel. It's not that I'm saying because you cheated, you now don't get to feel likeyour wife's not working is a problem.
58:28I get it. It all is a problem. What I'm saying is because of what you did to her, that level of heartache, the idea that you should havesome sort of timeline she needs to be on?That's wild. That's wild.Bro, she still wants to keep you in her life. You won. And now it's like, how do you guys find a wayto make this work? And also, even without all of the cheating,
58:49I would have said, like,You may have to,it's a really blurry linebetween wanting to help your partners be moreand wanting to accept peoplefor where they areand meeting them where they are.And that's even what she wants.
59:03Right.I was going to say that.I'm like, have you talked to her?Have you asked her, what do you want to do?Is there a dream that you haveor is there a small businessthat you want to do?
59:11What is it?And maybe you help her achieve that goal. And the real question, cheating aside and all the problems is not.The real question is,are you sure you even still want to be in this relationship?Yeah, because you're sounding between the cheatingand the how long do I need to wait.
59:29Yeah, like, what does that mean? You may want her to be something she'll never be.And you might have been in a place where you guys,it made sense when you guys got together. How long were they together?I don't remember.A long time. They have a 19-year-old.
59:401970.Y'all might have. The relationship might be,it may not be the same.It may not,you may want more or something different. But you cheated,so it kind of invalidates your management of the same.
59:52situation.It's not, yeah, it's...No one's gonna be on your side where you're like,I'm over this relationship.People are gonna be like, well, you're a cheaterand you hurt her. You're gonna have to deal with that with your kids.I would put this whole timeline thing
01:00:04completely out of your mind.Be grateful that she still wants to be with youand hope you guys can work together to...If that's what you want.If that's what you want.If not, like Ebro said, do whateverelse is doing. Blow the whole thing up and leave.Your kids are older anyway.
01:00:18I mean, except for the seven-year-old.Oh, seven.I thought you said 17.Oh, nah, you're going to be paying that bill for a minute anyway. So it's up to you, but sometimes I really, and listen, I say this is someone who didn't always understand vows. It's fundamentally well, I suppose. But now that I'm in my second life and understand it better, what do people think they're signing up for?Maybe we need to change the vows to, yo, are you going to stick through this when it sucks?
01:00:42They don't know what sucks is.They don't know what it's going to suck. No, but they don't know what that is.Yeah.They don't know what that is.They don't know what you're saying.sucks sometimes. No, sucks to them is like I'm bored.
01:00:53For a lot of people that get married, it's like, oh, the relationship gets boring. That sucks. Not like life and death scenarios. Not like extended mental health issues. Not like literally financial stability is in question. But by the way, those things to me are kind of in there, right?Because they have richer, poorer, sicker, you know, sickness and health.Yeah.
01:01:14But what about just the like, it's not sexy anymore. We're busy all the time. She's always yelling at meHe always wants to watch footballWhatever the things are like you didn't knowThis shit's hardPut that in thereWould you stand up in front of people and be like
01:01:30Yeah it's a goodWhen we don't want to have sex with each other anymoreWhen you find me unattractiveFor an extended period of timeYes I got fat for five yearsYeah when we're so busyTrying to like figure out our professionalAnd financial stability for a decade
01:01:47Are you still going to want toSay it.Maybe people need to start saying it.Because they don't.They get up there and they say a bunch of pretty shit.Nobody actually gets up there and says real shit.Or at least at the weddings I've been at.No, no, they don't.
01:02:01No, it never happened.Because it's not as entertaining and beautiful to ruin the floral arrangement. And also, when people say sicker sickness and health, they're like literally talking aboutI won't leave you at your deathbed if you're dying. That's a nothing commitment. Not cold. What kind of low life piece of shit?would get married to someone when they get sick and beg you know man oh man
01:02:22it happened no john edwards did it no no no but no like this is about othersickness though we know people that got terminally ill we do yes and their partners cheatedoh oh those things happened and then they were covered yep like people are you can say that'seasy. When your partneris on their deathbedfor yearspeople, you can'tfathom. Let me not say it's easy. It's not
01:02:56easy. But the commitment on paper tonot being a piece of shit feels moreobvious. Whereas sometimes there's othersickness. Mental health stuff.Sickness and health means depression. You know, not thinking highlyof yourself, doing dumb, makingdumb decisions because of that. Like, sickness
01:03:12incorporates a lot. Andpeople just roll out on people and think it wasjust to, you know? They do.Look, we remember Shaky Jake.Shaky Jake and his wife, they were together, though. They rocked.Well, until they didn't.
01:03:24Well, but he was on it.I mean, his entire, the entire time we knew Shaky Jake, he was waiting to die.By the way, though. And making jokes about it.Literally the biggest gangster of all.Yo, guys, when I got divorced completely in hell, I was under a table for a year straight.Jake was staring death in the face.Yeah.
01:03:42And his wife was like, I'm kind of over you being sick. And he was like, I.Well, life is short.Let's go out, guys.Remember? He just kept him moving.Hey, we're still friends. It's all good.
01:03:52Keep it moving.Because he knew it was hard. She had been with him through tough times. And he knew life wasn't guaranteed,so he didn't have time to be down for a year. And it was like, no, go live.Go live. She needs to go live.
01:04:04This is hard.I know this is hard.Jake was an old producer of ours for the audience.Jakey, Jay.R-A-P.Yo, it's terrible, too.If you think about it,called him shaky Jake? No, Lil Half dead.
01:04:18I made up the nickname Little Half Dead. Oh, I never called himLittle Half Dead. That was your thing. That was not. I was in Berg. I forgot aboutthat. Until he was Little All Dead. But it started out, Little Half Dead. And he thought it was hilarious.Well, that's why I wouldn't hesitate. There's no joke I wouldn't makeabout Jake. I would call him Noel All Dead.
01:04:34And I know he'd laugh at. I thought it was bad becausewe called him Shaky Jake. And then we would coughbecause he had cystic fibrosis. He had like threelung transplants. He would cough. We wouldall stop and be like, yo, is it going to happenright now?By the way, best moment, best, I've said this before, the best Jake moment is when he just had it up to here with Ebro
01:04:51and threw his wallet down the halland then I had to go just pick it up.It's so good.He was so, Ebro could get his goat so well, and he was just like, oh, you, shut up.All right, see this.Do we say so, say the guru?Hey, yo, we're up out of here, man.
