But if you're looking for point C, well, buddy, you're on your own. But if you'll wait right here, in just about the two minutes, the bus to point C will be coming right by. And now here's your Ralph Cramden of the Airways, Eric Mattaxas. Hey there, folks. It's Monday, April 28th. And I am your correspondent, Eric Mataxis, host of the Eric Mataxis show. Chris Himes, welcome.
Starting point is 00:01:03 Thank you. Welcome. It's Monday. Which means yesterday because I was in New York. I got to go to church at the church that I go to when I'm in New York, which is where I live, but I'm never in New York on a Sunday, which of course is David Englehart's Church, which is King's Church. People say, where do you go to church in New York? Kings Church. It's kind of a weird location, at least for me, because I'm way up the other end of the island, but it's King's Church, Pastor David Englehard. And I, to be clear, I think. it's in a hip hip location. I was going to say, to younger people,
Starting point is 00:01:41 it's like hip. It's too hip for me, man. Yeah. It's right near the, um, the high line, uh,
Starting point is 00:01:50 Hudson Yards, very hip, extremely hip. Um, okay, so a few things. Um, in a couple of minutes,
Starting point is 00:02:01 um, we're going to be talking to, I know today we're talking to Larry Elder. We're going to be talking to Chris Ruddy. the head of Newsmax about current events. That's, I think, in the next segment. I think in a couple of minutes, we'll get him on here. A few announcements. This is the big announcement. We're kicking off a campaign for CSI. Some of you know Christian Solidarity International. Usually we do this around Christmas, but we wanted to do it in the month of May, in the Merry Merry Month of May.
Starting point is 00:02:33 And what does CSI do? If you're new to the program, you don't know. But if you've listened, and you know, they literally free slaves. It's hard for us to get our heads around it. It's a big world, and there's real evil in the world. Not everyone lives the way we do in America. We spoiled Americans who think this is reality. We should know better. If you're any kind of a Christian, you should know better. This is not reality. Most people don't have freedom. Most people don't have half of what we have or close to it. And some people are enslaved. Virtually everybody who lives in North Korea is enslaved. But there are people in Africa, black people enslaved by other blacks. In case you thought slavery was a race thing, no,
Starting point is 00:03:27 you got that wrong. It's a sin thing. And human beings who are sinful often take advantage of their power to subjugate other people. That has been happening since the beginning of time. But if you're a Christian, theoretically you're against it. And theoretically, if there's an opportunity to do something about it, you would jump at the chance. So we get an opportunity to do something about it. CSI is Christian Solidarity International. There is a website.
Starting point is 00:04:00 Actually, if you go to our radio website, Chris, is it up today yet? I don't know. Metaxis Talk. Yes, it's up there on the banner. It was actually, it was up last night. I checked. So they got it up early. So you can do this today.
Starting point is 00:04:14 Metaxistococococ.com is the website. That's our radio show website. Metaxistocococ.com. Mataxis talk.com. At the top of it, there's a banner. And what it is, and we'll be talking about this in the weeks ahead, but in the 90s, there was a whole. horrible war in Sudan. And the radical Muslims believe in slavery. And they enslaved many Christians,
Starting point is 00:04:48 Sudanese people, black people, the radical Muslims enslaved them. So when the international community stepped in and ended that, they did not end the slavery. They ended taking more slaves. So it's like, okay, like Wilberforce ended the slave trade. He didn't end slavery. That's a whole other thing. So right now, it's up to us who can do it through Christian Solidarity International. If you want to be a modern day abolitionist, you can help Christian Solidarity International who is doing this right now.
Starting point is 00:05:26 They've been doing this for years. They have relationships with the people who live there. and they make connections with these Sudanese slaveholders. This is amazing, right? And they kind of barter with them. They give them a cattle vaccine because these are typically tribesmen who have cattle. And they give them a cattle vaccine in exchange for the people that they are enslaving. And these are mostly women.
Starting point is 00:06:02 often children, the children born to these women are also enslaved. Again, hard to believe this is happening. But if you really think about it, when you think about slavery being in existence, I mean, just our inertia in doing something about it, when we could just say, oh, I'll give to that, our inertia speaks to the fallen condition, right? Like we are living in a broken world, and even when we can fix something, most people for whatever reason. And that whatever reason existed in Germany, when the Nazis took over in slavery days in this country, you're hesitant. I want to encourage you today not to be hesitant to understand that this is a crazy thing.
Starting point is 00:06:58 thing that you get to do something about this and to please take advantage of it. So the website is metaxis talk.com. You'll see at the top of the page. There is a banner. We should lay this out. Not only do they, when you free a slave, now the amount that they're giving, I don't see it here. But I believe every $250 that you give, we need to check on that because it's not in my notes, but every $250 frees a human being and sets them up in a life of freedom. So it's a big
Starting point is 00:07:38 deal. I want to encourage you. We'll be giving you details about this in the days ahead. But if you want to get a jump on it, please today, Monday, April 28th, go to the website metaxis talk.com and give what you can. I'll keep talking about this throughout the month. So you might as well do it today and encourage your friends to do it. The idea that we get to do this is amazing. The idea that being an abolitionist today is a thing because the world is still broken. And we're not living in the millennial kingdom where these things have been eradicated. So it's up to us to do what we can.
Starting point is 00:08:21 There's a phone number. Here's the phone number if you prefer to call. If that's easier for you, you feel it's more secure. It is 888-253-3522. 8-88-253-35-22. 8-88-253-35-22. It's important, folks. It's very important.
Starting point is 00:08:44 8-88-253-35-22. I know it's tough to write down phone numbers. I'll say it again. 888-253-35-25-25-25-25-25-25-25-25-25-. This is CSI Christian Solidarity International. They've been doing this for a long time. They know what they're doing. When you give to them, you're not giving it some bureaucracy.
Starting point is 00:09:09 You're doing something very important. You're giving the gift of freedom and hope. You're freeing human beings, but you're also setting them up in a life of freedom. That to me is the amazing thing is that CSI, they figured this out, how to do this. And so all they need is for us to help. So we do have something that we have to do.
Starting point is 00:09:33 The phone number is 888-253-3522. And the website is metaxis talk.com, metaxistalkis-talk.com. You'll see the banner at the top of the page. When we come back, I hope we'll have Chris Ruddy on. He, as we've said, is the head of Newsmax. He's a hero. Newsmax, they've just, on public. I want to ask him about that. It's an exciting time in America. But before we go to
Starting point is 00:10:04 Chris Rody, go to commercial here, I want to remind you to call the number 888-253-3522. Do what you can today, please, folks. Metaxistalk.com. You'll see the banner. We'll be right back. There's been a national focus on eating only the healthiest of foods, and that's great news for balance of nature. Their method of producing a vibrant nutritional supplement is second to none, While so many others use chemicals and additives, balance of nature is made solely from whole food ingredients. While other methods sacrifice nutritional quality for the sake of profits and volume, balance of nature's advanced vacuum cold process involves freeze drying the fruits and veggies into a fine powder, helping to retain as much nutritional value as possible compared to other inferior methods, which cut corners at your expense.
Starting point is 00:10:48 Bounce of nature packs a nutritional punch, and that's the whole reason for taking balance of nature, getting the most nutrition for the sake of your health. Starting point is 00:12:14 promo code Eric. Hey, the folks. Welcome back. Have you called the phone number yet? I want to front-load this. folks. I want us to to help CSI
Starting point is 00:12:40 like ASAP. We'll be talking about this throughout the month, but I want to see how many of us can take this seriously today. The phone number is 888-253-3522. 888-253-3522. The website,
Starting point is 00:12:57 some people prefer to give monthly, and I think that's a great idea. Go to metaxis talk.com. You'll see the banner right at the top of the page. This is literally about freeing slaves. Literally about freeing slaves. You want to be part of the abolitionist movement of our time. This is an opportunity. No, slavery has not been abolished around the world.
Starting point is 00:13:21 It's been abolished in the United States of America, but not in parts of Africa. And so this is an opportunity to put your money where your mouth is, where your faith is, put your faith into action. I always say that. How do we do that? This is an easy way to do that. It's an amazing thing that we get the opportunity through CSI.
Starting point is 00:13:45 I always say that, you know, a lot of times we see this thing's wrong. What can I do about it? What can I do about it? Well, this is a clear opportunity to do something. So you can call the number or go to the website, metaxis talk.com. The banner is right there. we've got Chris Reddy coming up to discuss the news of the day. I understand the Pope is still deceased, even as of April 28th now.
Starting point is 00:14:15 It's been like a week almost. Well, Eric, they had a funeral. There was a funeral. I mean, you must have missed that. He's still. You know what that is? That's when you know it's not just a rumor. You know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 00:14:28 So he really has passed on. Yeah, I didn't hear that way. It's also a lack of faith. Come on now. It's a lack of faith. Well, listen. You're rising from the dead? We should be talking about, well, you know what?
Starting point is 00:14:42 I'll talk to Chris Reddy in a couple of minutes about what went on there. With a lot of news going on this week, and we'll be covering it. We got John Smirak, I think, tomorrow. But I wanted to say, I should announce this. I said that I'm writing a book on the American Revolution, and I'm getting very excited about the history because next year is the 250th anniversary of the birth of our nation. It's kind of cool that we get to be alive on the 250th anniversary.
Starting point is 00:15:22 I mean, I remember I was 13 at the bicentennial, and it's just exciting. You think, it's 200 years. I'm alive. This is, we could celebrate 200 years. And it was so big. The bicentennial was such a big celebration. I mean, you guys have to remember some of that.
Starting point is 00:15:40 It's like there's nobody. Absolutely. It's own like a bicentennial T-shirt or hat or something. I remember the red, white, and blue 1776 candle that I bought and put in my room because I was so excited and patriotic at probably, like you said, 12, I don't know, 13. That's probably worth a million dollars. It was a big deal. It was a big deal.
Starting point is 00:16:08 I'm going to share a story. My in-laws, so I was only three, but my in-laws got married in Philadelphia in 1776. I'm sorry? In 1976. I'm sorry. Yeah, that would make me some kind of time traveler or vampire. I've met me either.
Starting point is 00:16:28 I met the in-laws, yeah. Thank you. Thank you. I need more coffee. But anyway, it was red, white and blue themed, like the whole deal. They went all out. It might have even been on the 4th of July. I don't remember.
Starting point is 00:16:37 But it was a whole thing. And if you thought that you could be patriotic during the Gerald Ford administration, can you imagine what next year is going to be like? It's going to be un— People are going to have red, white, and blue lawns. I predict somehow somebody's going to do that. It's just—it's going to happen. So I'm bringing this up because my book will come out on the American Revolution.
Starting point is 00:16:59 next year, and I've started to do a thing on Instagram. If you're on Instagram, you need to follow it. I have decided to coin a term. I've never done this in my life before. But the term for the 250th anniversary, bicentennial, that's 200 is bicentennial, 100 years is the centennial, 300 years is the tricentennial.
Starting point is 00:17:25 What is the name for? the 250th. Well, it's a word no one will remember. It's preposterous. It's the semi-quincentennial. And who wants to say that? So I've coined a term to save everybody time. Think of the man-hours this is going to save and the wealth that will be built as a result of these saved man-hours. I've decided we all need to use the term supercentennial. It's the super centennial of the nation. that's the 250th of Super Centennial. And to commemorate it, we have started an Instagram account called Supercentennial, where every day I or someone else gives you, here's what happened, 250 years ago today.
Starting point is 00:18:15 And so I have been doing these, but we've gotten some friends to do it as well. So it's not going to be me every day. Yesterday was our friend Sam Sorbo. Yeah. Sam Sorbo. In real life, she's a communist, but she's decided to put her ideologies aside and to support this patriotic endeavor, the supercentennial. Seriously, she did a beautiful job talking about what happened 250 years ago yesterday. Actually, no, in a couple of cases, if something big happened maybe instead of 1775, which is 250 years ago, let's say it was 1776, 1777, we will cover that.
Starting point is 00:18:57 So the big news two days ago, which I reported on, which was very personal for me. And again, you can see this on the Instagram account for Super Centennial. But 248 years ago over the weekend was the anniversary, 248th anniversary of what happened on April 26th, which was the burning of Danbury. Now, I'm in Danbury today. My hometown is Danbury, Connecticut. And in 1777, a governor trion, I believe he was the royal governor of New York. I'm trying to remember because it was a weird time where I just know that he was a general at that point for the British, of course. And he was tasked with his satanic overlords in London with, you know, harassing the Patriots. And so he landed a number of ships. Keith Jinta, this will mean something to you. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:20:04 You live down there on Campo Beach. Wow. Westport. So they landed their troops. I think it was 1,500 troops. And they marched 25 miles north. So it's a day's March. And on April 26th, they burned Danbury.
Starting point is 00:20:22 because they could. There's a whole story that goes with it, but it's an amazing thing. They burn the homes of patriots. So if you were a loyalist, scum, they left your house alone. But if you were a patriot, they burned your house.
Starting point is 00:20:40 They burned supplies. They wanted to burn the medical supplies, the tents, whatever, because it was a depot for the Continental Army. It was located in Danbury, Connecticut. So I think the gunpowder and some of the munitions had been removed so they couldn't get to it. They couldn't transport it. So they burned it.
Starting point is 00:21:02 I mean, it's an amazing thing. When I was in sixth grade, sorry, in fifth grade, in Danbury, Connecticut, Beaverbrook school. It's no longer a grade school. But it's when we moved to Connecticut, I went to fifth grade. And we had American history in fifth grade, as most Americans used to, I guess. and our teacher was Mr. McDavitt. He's passed on. He's one of the greatest teachers I ever had, Mr. Robert McDavitt,
Starting point is 00:21:28 and he wrote a book on the burning of Danbury, Trions Raid on Danbury. So here we have a fifth grade teacher, my fifth grade teacher who taught me everything that I ever heard about the revolution in fifth grade. He was a great teacher. He wrote a book about this event. And so April 26,
Starting point is 00:21:51 1777 had happened. It's a whole story. Benedict Arnold was involved. General David Worcester was killed. It's just a whole story. There was a battle the next day, the Battle of Richfield. I think Sam Sorbo talked about that yesterday when she posted this Supercentennial video. So you can see these, the Instagram account is just called Supercentennial. So if you're on Instagram or know anybody who's on Instagram, tell them to follow Supercentennial. Because every single day, we're putting this out. We're getting better and better at it. It's kind of cool, actually. It's a great. It's a great channel. And Eric, like I always tell you, it gives another venue for you to be you. So you're not on radio. You're not in front of lights and cameras in a studio somewhere. It's just you in a location talking to the people. And it's a facet that I love watching. I see my friend Eric showing us how brilliant and smart you are. You can see me in my natural habitat. It's like we're going to.
Starting point is 00:22:51 dirty bathrobe doing lines of Coke. That's just who I am behind the scenes. Then I come on. I put on this whole Christian role. But that's behind the scenes. It's nasty. And we show you that on my Instagram account. Actually, so that's my, I have an Instagram account, but this is the super centennial
Starting point is 00:23:08 separate Instagram account. Okay. We're going to come back. We're talking to Chris Ruddy, folks. Are you ready? We'll be right back. Folks, welcome back. We don't have Chris Ritty yet.
Starting point is 00:23:28 He's the head of Newsmax. We're going to have him talk about a lot. of stuff today. I'm excited about that. But before we get to that, a couple of more announcements. We want to remind you again, we're doing this campaign with CSI. Today's the day, folks. Jump on it. Be a modern day abolitionist. You can actually do it. You can do it. You can tell your kids about it. Put your faith into action. The website is metaxis talk.com. You'll see the banner at the top of the page. We want everybody to get involved. This is exciting, folks. Jump on this. Don't, don't, don't hesitate. Jump on it. There's a phone number here it is.
Starting point is 00:24:07 888-253-3522. 888-253-3522. Okay, we, I should also make another announcement. May 13th, that's like in two weeks, we're doing a Socrates in the city in New York City. people often ask me, when do you do another one in New York City? We want to come to New York City, spend a couple days in the city. And by the way, New York City is fantastic. Believe me, I live there. Anybody who tells you, it's not like San Francisco or Portland or whatever. It's great.
Starting point is 00:24:46 And I live there, and so I'm not blowing smoke, you know. But if you want to come to New York, May 13th is the Socrates in the city with Melanie Phillips. She is one of these heroes. She's written a book on how really Christianity and Judaism, Christians and Jews are what gives us the West and how Christians and Jews are the ones to save the West. So she's been writing about that in London for a long time. The West has been under attack Western values in London far more than in the United States. So she's like a prophetic voice on this issue. So that's, you go to Socrates and City.com to sign up.
Starting point is 00:25:27 There's a dinner afterward. You can meet her. There's a VIP reception. You know, there's all the different options. But it's a lot of fun to do it. We do it at the Union League Club. But go to Socrates and say it's May 13th. I wanted to mention that.
Starting point is 00:25:44 I also wanted to remind you we just spoke about the supercentennial Instagram account. Every day we're listing a new thing that, like, what happened 250 years ago. So this is all about kind of getting psyched about our roots as Americans and being patriotic. And I just tell you the fact that next year is the big year. So I'm already on it. I'm already all over it. Did I mention that I went to church yesterday? You did.
Starting point is 00:26:16 You were also in a place that we got scolded for mispronouncing Winachi. Oh, right. What happened there? Tell us about that. Well, Winachi is, I had to fly to Seattle. So it's like you're flying across the country to Seattle. And then in Seattle, you could either drive two hours and 45 minutes through the mountains, or you could jump on another plane and fly to Winachi.
Starting point is 00:26:47 Winachi is famous for its apple orchards and also for its cherry orchards. and it's just a beautiful place. It's a valley. And I've been there once before. I'd forgotten that about 13 years ago, I spoke at a number of pregnancy centers in Washington State. Our friend Beth Chase was driving me around to all these places. And basically, Winochis, it's just a beautiful place.
Starting point is 00:27:17 I ran. I did my four miles next to the Columbia. River. And so yeah, it's an amazing thing. Got to see our friend Stephen Meyer of the Discovery Institute. He's been on Socrates and the city many times. Has he discovered more things? Has he made more discovery since the last time you hung out? You know, he discovered that I'm not that fascinating of a dinner guest because we had dinner together. And I saw the glazed look on his eyes that was trying to sound interesting. And he, it was a sad discovery. But you, it was a sad discovery. Yes. He discovered some stuff about me. Sounds painful. But we, but it's such, you know, listen,
Starting point is 00:27:58 it's amazing to have friends all around the country and to go to Seattle and have dinner with Stephen Meyer. And Stephen Meyer, his picture is in my book as atheism dead. I write about him in my book as atheism dead. He is a really amazing, amazing mind writer, scientists. He's really a philosopher of science. He writes about science. But I was with him. The folks in, In Winachi, I spoke at a pregnancy center of benefit. So it's just a joy. You know, you meet all these wonderful people. Some of them are coming on a cruise, which is incredible.
Starting point is 00:28:35 And one crazy thing that happened, there was a couple there. The woman's name was Sasha, and they were part sponsors of the event. And there was a video. And in the video, she gave her testimony about coming to faith. and central in her journey of coming to faith in Jesus was my book, which I never mentioned, Everything You Always Want to Know About God, but We're Afraid to Ask. It was the first book that I wrote,
Starting point is 00:29:04 Everything You Always Want to Know About God, but We're Afraid to Ask. And that just blew my mind that she tells the story of her husband, I think, had given her the book and how it helped her come to faith. And so that book, I wrote three books. Everything I always wanted to know about God, but we're afraid to ask. everything else. You always want to know about God I'm afraid to ask. And then everything you want to know about God, I'm afraid to ask, the Jesus edition. So were there three books in that trilogy? And to hear, you know, 20 years after I wrote the book that somebody came to faith as a result of reading a book that I wrote,
Starting point is 00:29:38 it just blesses my socks off, just amazing. And she gave me this gorgeous piece of art. It was really amazing. I gave your book, that book, the first one, everything you wanted to know about God, but we're afraid to ask. I gave you. gave that to a friend who was in a really painful point in his life, and he came to faith. So that book has been used, and this is many years ago. You can still buy it. Everything you always wanted to know about God, we're afraid of us. There's three of them, actually.
Starting point is 00:30:05 Anyway, we're going to go to a break. We'll be back finally with Chris Ruddy. Folks, as promised, Chris Ruddy, the CEO of Newsmax is my guest. Chris, welcome back. Eric, always great to be on with you. There's a lot to talk about. I want to talk to you about, oh, I don't know, tariffs, Putin, America. Why don't we start, though, since you are actually the CEO of Newsmax, a lot has been happening with Newsmax.
Starting point is 00:30:55 So give us the update, exciting news. Well, I appreciate it. You know, you were there with us from the very beginning on some of these things, Eric. We announced last year we were going to go public and people like, well, they're really going to do. We actually raised $300 million. And then before our public listing, between the IPO and the pre-raise, we went public on March 31st. It was an amazing experience.
Starting point is 00:31:19 I know you were at one of our events related to that. We went on the New York Stock Exchange. It was actually broke a historic record, go from a regulation offering, directly to the big board. The stock went way up. It's still very significantly up over 100% in a declining or, dodgy market. So we think investors really like us. They're looking at what we're doing. They're saying they want us to grow. And we have big plans ahead. But I can tell you our ratings for the first
Starting point is 00:31:50 quarter were up 50%. We had 34 million people tune in the first quarter this year, up from 22 million in the same period last year. That doesn't happen by nature. That is a force. That is a movement. And we're proud to be part of it. So people, by the way, can check out our stock on the New York Stock Exchange or symbolist NMAX. And we also have a website, newsmaxinvest.com, newsmaxinvest.com with all our filings. Well, listen, the world, the conservative world woke up, you know, in the fall of 2020 and realized that they could no longer depend on Fox News. I would never say anything negative about Fox except for the fact that they stink. and Newsmax, everybody was like, where do I go? Where do I go? I tried to be one of those voices.
Starting point is 00:32:44 But Newsmax, of course, tons of people said, I want real news. And so, you know, congratulations. I just, it's an exciting time in America, Chris. Let's be honest. I mean, we have opportunities that, you know, I see great things ahead. And so I want to talk to you actually about some of that. Most people that I know, sane patriots love Donald Trump. They don't just like him. They love him because they see a level of courage and innovation that is, frankly, it has not existed in public life. It has not existed in the Republican world very much. And so most people love him and they're excited.
Starting point is 00:33:32 But the news media lately, they've been just, you know, this is what they do. They're nattering nabobs of negativism, to quote William Sapphire by way of Spiro Agnew. I'm dating myself. But they're nattering nabobs of negativism. Anything good, they hate. They claim that Trump's polls are down. I don't know what to make of it. So that's why you're here, what's to figure it out.
Starting point is 00:34:01 I look at the polls pretty consistently. First of all, for the president, have taken on so many hub-button issues and still stay very strong with the polls as a good sign. But, you know, like Rasmussen's been pretty much close to 50% the whole time. He's one of the most accurate pollsters. They certainly predicted the election. As Dick Morris said recently on Newsmax,
Starting point is 00:34:22 all of these pollsters that predicted Trump was going to lose are now saying he's down in the polls. and I believe, I remember saying to the president he was on a CBS poll at 50% in the past month. And I said, you know, if it's 50% at a CBS poll, that you're actually higher than that. And he agreed, he's, you know, they underweight the polls constantly in favor of the Democrats. The Harris poll's always been at 44%. He's still at like 44%. So I don't know what, they get a couple of polls to try to tell a narrative.
Starting point is 00:34:55 Most of these pollsters are Democrats. Just start with that. fact. And there's the reason, you know, the Gallup poll, the Gallup study showed that Americans no longer have confidence in the big media. I mean, it's just zero. And not close, it's close to zero. Like, you know, especially conservatives and independence. It's, it's in the low 30s. And that is just abominable. And the liberals will still trust the media because it's all woke. It's all left. Well, I mean, this is the joy of having been through the hell of the last four years is how many people have finally
Starting point is 00:35:28 woken up to the reality in which we live, that you can't trust the mainstream media. They've proved that. I mean, it's sort of, you know, I mean, it's, reality is reality. And eventually, it's kind of like, you know, socialism, it's great, but eventually
Starting point is 00:35:45 you run out of other people's money. If the media lies, eventually people are onto it. And it's sad that it's taken us this long. But we're just, we're at a point where I think people are thinking for themselves, there are obviously innumerable other venues, obviously Newsmax, X. There are places you can go to find out what's really going on.
Starting point is 00:36:07 So I'm generally encouraged. But let's talk about some of the issues. What did you make of Trump at the Vatican having a sit down with Zelensky? I thought, what is going on? This is fascinating. Well, I think it's good. I think dialogue is very good. I think Trump is sympathetic to the city.
Starting point is 00:36:26 situation there, but he also wants to end it quickly, maybe too quickly because Putin clearly doesn't want to join in here. I've always felt the real villain is Putin. Russia invaded Ukraine. It was unwarranted attack. It was not necessary. Ukraine had done nothing. They hadn't even applied formulative NATO. So there was no real excuse, and they made this attack. There's probably at least a million Russian casualties between dead and wounded. There's probably about a third of that with Ukrainians. Vast devastation. And the president's looking at this saying,
Starting point is 00:37:07 what a mess which Biden really created. I got to get out of here. So President Trump did some tweets over the weekend we were covering on Newsmax where he basically said Putin's not living up to his end of the bargain here. He's playing me along. I think he said he's tapping me along. Yeah. And so he's fooling, he's not fooling anyone.
Starting point is 00:37:29 And Trump said, I may have to do sanctions on Russia. Yeah. I don't think the Ukrainians are going to give in. I think Europe's going to continue to fund. We've had, I know some Americans are very angry with the amount we spent there. I actually think, you know, we spent, let's say, $200 billion. I don't have the exact number offhand. But we have reduced the Russian army significantly.
Starting point is 00:37:52 And they're a main adversary at one of them in the world. So I think that we learned a lot about warfare If we have another coming battle with China There's certain benefits that we've learned from this disaster So that could be beneficial I don't like to go a break Forgive me Chris we're going to go break We'll be right back folks
Starting point is 00:38:12 More with Chris Ruddy of Newsmax I've got to hit pause on Chris Ruddy He'll be back in five minutes He's got a lot to say about the tariffs He's a very, I can say this because he's not on right now. He's a very sophisticated. You could tell this when he talks. He's a very sophisticated, brilliant, wise observer of what's going on.
Starting point is 00:38:54 So it's always very interesting to get his take on what's happening. So he'll be on again in a couple of seconds. But before that, oh, and after Chris Ruddy, We're talking to Jenny Allen. She's a huge influencer in the Christian world. We've not hired her on this program before. She's got a couple of books out, a kid's book. But she's a huge influencer.
Starting point is 00:39:20 She understands spiritual warfare. It is very real. I have come to know that it's very real. So after Chris Ruddy, who's next, we'll have Jenny Allen. I want to remind you that we're doing this campaign with CSI. We're really trying to kick it off big today, and we hope you'll help us today. It is, they are freeing slaves in Southern Sudan. I just cannot get over the fact that there are enslaved people, not sort of enslaved, not
Starting point is 00:39:58 trafficked, like actually enslaved, like fully enslaved human beings. it's so sick, but the beauty is that we could do something about it, but it's horrible if we don't. So please, take advantage of this. Everybody who's listening can do something. So whatever something you can do, $250 freeze a slave. But I don't want to discourage you if you want to give $10. Maybe you want to give $10 a month. Please do what you can.
Starting point is 00:40:31 Maybe you want to give $25 or $50 or what? This is, you know, we give tides and offerings. These are offerings, folks. This is an important thing that we step up. It's God's money. What does God want us to do with it? We partnered with CSI because they are absolutely as trustworthy as it gets. It's just, it's a joy that we get to do this with them.
Starting point is 00:40:53 So our radio website is metaxistalk.com. You can see the banner at the top of the page, Metaxistalks Talk.com. or you can dial the number. Very easy to do. Talk to somebody. The number is 888-253-3522. 888-253-35-22. Got a couple of things to say before we go back to Chris Ruddy with Newsmax.
Starting point is 00:41:28 Keith Jinta, do you have any thoughts? you're on Instagram. I've noticed you're on Instagram. You're sharing some amazing stuff. And I was talking about my Instagram account. And you were talking about my Instagram account. You've got an Instagram account. What is your Instagram account?
Starting point is 00:41:43 And this is very new for me. I've never really touched Instagram before. It's just my name, Keith underscore Junta. And thank you for even bringing it up. But I am working on this little project. It's just kind of something that I feel it's time to do. It's on worship. I've been, as you know, I've been a worshipper for many years.
Starting point is 00:42:08 I've been a worship leader for decades and a pastor and a church planter. And I just felt like it was time to share some of my thoughts on worship. So until this thing is done, all the writing is done, I made a promise to post something every day. Yeah. And this is very new for me. Yes. Well, Instagram on this level is new to me too. So there are folks out there who are not on it. They can follow you. They can follow me. They can follow Super Centennial. Okay, we're going to be right back with Chris Ruddy talking about the tariffs, talking about a lot of stuff, and Jenny Allen right after Chris. So we'll be right back.
