Check this out. Hey, everybody, welcome back. It is a brand new edition of The Big Thing Live. So it's me,
Christian Harloff. That's right, me. All by my lonesome. John Roker out this week, but he'll be back.
So next week, we look to do our first show from the New York studio. That's right. And we are going to
set up the New York studio. And we are going to hopefully do a live show from that Monday episode.
So thank you. And by the way, over the weekend, I had to thank everybody. I woke up to a bunch of people who bought some stuff off that Amazon wish list. And we are building up. We're going to do a document that we're probably going to document the whole thing when we're there as we, from the second we get on the plane to when we get there, we're going to be kind of showing you guys the new studio and we'll put that up on Patreon. So thank you to everybody who contributed to that wish list. I always put that as the first thing you see in the description if you're able to and you want to help out. That's where it goes. We're going to name stuff after people.
who donated so there it is so thanks for joining us here today on the show we got a lot to talk
about the apes man they're back at the number one spot they're back um and so some people i saw
were like oh man didn't do that well from the amount of money it cost was the biggest opening
in i think in the franchise is history from what i read so it did pretty damn good the question is
does that have legs that's the question does it have legs and we'll get into that so gorney weaver
The, the icon, according to Jeff Snyder, joining Star Wars for the Mandalorian and Grogu.
How do we feel about that?
The answer is we feel great about it.
But the question is, what role will she do?
There's some other stuff, man.
I thought it was an interesting tidbit that about X-Men 97, where they could use so many different characters, but they couldn't use Deadpool.
So we'll talk about that in particular.
talk about the last of us season two there's some set photos that came out that will bring into the
conversation and see what we thought thus far of what we what we see and where it's going to go
how excited we are for that in general so um i don't know man that's really that's it today as i said
we're gonna it's just gonna me and you guys you can put those questions in there now for how it works to
If you're joining us live every week when we do this on Mondays,
you throw in a question via super chat.
And by the end of the show,
once I'm done with all the main topics,
I'll make sure I get to every single one.
So throw them in there.
That's it.
If you have anything else you want to talk about,
make sure you bring that up.
But we have Apple Podcasts, Spotify,
anywhere podcasts are found.
We've been really growing on Spotify recently.
I see people throwing in Superchats already.
So thank you for that one.
And that's it.
So let's get to,
it it's me today on my lonesome here we go all right tell me real quick did you guys hear the music
when that played by the way for the for the big thing music for um some it's really weird
check check check i don't know what that hell's happening you guys did hear that music okay
it's really weird i don't know why for some reason it got all screwy on me i don't know what that was
I don't know.
Bizar.
Anyway.
Okay.
We got a lot to talk about today.
I hope everybody had a good Mother's Day for sure.
Yeah, no audio.
Stop with the no audio.
The audio is right there.
Stop it.
You don't have audio again?
Don't mess with me.
No audio.
We got audio.
Stop this.
Anyway, so the music is there.
That's good.
I hope you had a good Mother's Day.
You know what I did today?
and what I want you guys to know, because it's not now, it's going to be later.
I'm going to get into the main topic in just a second here.
But for later, when I, as you guys know, you've been part of this,
when I'm reason we're able to do the shows, the sponsors that we have.
But there's one particular sponsor that I had that my wife kept talking about.
And I was like, you know what I'm going to do when I'm in the middle of doing this read.
I called her in the middle of the air.
So listen to it for when I play it later because she had no idea I was going to call her.
I call her in the middle of it.
My wife is like a natural on air.
People would ask him, when are you going to put your wife on air?
So if you want to hear my wife, she's going to be on during one of the sponsor reads.
So there you go.
Okay.
So let's get to the first story.
And let's talk about the apes, man.
Let's do it.
Kingdom of the planet of the apes.
It is the number one movie this weekend.
Everybody, you know, was talking about it.
And the question is, how?
Did it do?
Well, box office mojo says this.
For the domestic, 56.5, fault guy 13.7, challenges 4.7, tarot 3.5, and Godzilla,
and Kong, the new empire, still making money at 2.5 million.
But Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes thus far has made 129 million.
So for people who are saying, oh, it's bad opening, lost money, made $130 million.
so far it costs about 150 to make so with marketing everything too it'll probably i think you know the
question is how much legs will have and what i say now is pay attention to what aquaman did right
granted a different time it came out the end of the year had more time less competition
but i think kingdom of the planet the apes i've overall the franchise let me see what
the opening weekend for um i want to see dawn i think dawn of the plan of apes was was the biggest one
I know it made something like, was it, $700 million worldwide?
I mean, $710 worldwide, but what did it do?
Do opening weekend?
Opening weekend did 72.
So that's not true.
But it had one of the biggest.
I think maybe the second, what was in this, the third was, was a war?
There was War of the Planet of the Ips.
The War of the Planet of the Apes.
That movie, opening weekend.
did tell you in a second 56 so it was right on par with with with with the last one i mean it's not
so that's not bad not bad at all and that movie wound up making 490 so this it's could be in
par to do it between 4 and 500 if it sticks or and this is and this is post-pandemic so i i'm
very surprised at the um the scene the cinema score from what it was or something to be i'm shocked
by that. I thought there's some movies sometimes that get
this praise from the same people over
and over again that said, ah, this movie's okay. I'm like,
what are you talking about? As opposed to some of the
crap that people give these passes. That was wonderful. That's the same thing I've seen
a million times over. That was wonderful. This is a good movie.
It's a really, really solid film. I like this movie a lot.
A good emotion to it. It's set up new characters.
at the very least I thought it was a B plus I gave it I gave it probably between an A and A minus a little more than a man say hey I really like the movie I dug it I want to see it again um I'm very excited to see where it's going to go overall how it's going to continue to push forward so it ended up a 58.5 or something like that somewhat what someone said so I'm pumped for it man I'm pumped for more of this is this franchise
I thought they did a great job.
Owen Teague did a really good job as Noah.
There was performances fantastic.
It didn't have an easy task.
For the people who really loved those three initial movies,
Andy Circus as Caesar was the reason people were going in those movies, too.
It's like, I want to see, where's this whole legacy of Caesar?
What's he doing?
And they don't have them in this one.
And you got to establish a whole new bunch of apes.
And I thought they did it very well.
Yeah, the new characters hit for me.
I'm not going to spoil anything for the movie itself because it's still out in the theaters.
But there's some stuff that happens that I thought it stays consistent with everything that they had set up in those previous ones.
Plus, it allows us to say, well, I wonder where they're going to go with this.
if they're going to ever kind of connected to the the the the Charlton Heston story,
which I think that eventually they can get to.
So I mean, I'm glad that it made I'm glad it made money.
I'm glad that it, the question is what is it going to hold?
Because I think was, is it this week that Mad Mac or Furious it comes out?
I know I'm going to see it this week.
I don't know if it comes out this week, the following.
But either way, that comes out soon.
So that's going to tap into some of its budget,
some of it's box office people are saying that garfield got some good uh buzz on it but a different
audience but still those people are instead of going to see apes themselves have taken their kids
to see it or and i i'm i'm curious for that one that one i'm probably going to have to see opening weekend
same thing with if because i'm i'm missing the screenings when i'm going to set things up in new york
but um but i'm pumped i'm pumped to uh that the summer movie season is really starting to
kick in yeah so that's it it's uh i think it's what is it's it's oh yeah garfield's causing fights
in the theater there was well there's something that i saw that it was i don't know it's more hearsay
so if i'm definitely no no accusations but from what i heard is that some guy was yelling at
his wife and his kid or something or i don't know if he i don't know if he was ruffing him around
or whatever he was doing some boxer was there to see it the boxer said enough is enough came and
whoop the guys ass i think that's what happened
could be potentially wrong, made that up.
So I'm not naming names here.
Anyway, but I see that there's more super chats coming in here, and I thank you.
So you can throw those in there, and I will, I will get to all of them.
And I also want to make sure what I want to do first, you know, like, because there was,
it wasn't last week, but what happened is two weeks ago, I believe, I missed a question.
I missed one or two, but I definitely missed one from Carlton Rutter.
And I want to make sure, and he emailed me, I asked him to email me his question that he sent in.
He did.
So I'm going to get to that today also.
So I want to make sure I pulled that up.
And that is it.
So yeah.
Okay.
Cool.
What did you guys think?
Did you guys see it?
How many people saw the movie?
And I'm so curious if you saw that, how many people saw Fall Guy and King?
How many people just saw kingdom?
How many people saw neither yet?
And if so, what are you waiting for?
Is it Furiosa?
Are you waiting for something else?
So curious.
So curious how that's going to play.
Yikes to the back.
You don't like what that?
Just stick it up your ass.
How about that?
Stick it up your ass.
That's the kind of mood I'm in today.
How about this?
I mean, let's do you want some Triscuits too?
Come on over that.
Stick it up your ass.
It's fucking.
This is why I don't do the live shows anymore.
And how about that?
You don't look at my hat either?
Mr.
Mr. Critic.
You can't take it.
If you can't take it,
don't, don't do, don't be on the air.
Yeah, I know.
How about Dune?
You like Dune too?
How about that?
You skunk.
How about that?
Put Dune right there for you.
You hump.
That's right.
And you know what else I know you like?
That's right.
I'm here for you, baby.
Yeah.
Okay, let's get in some other stuff.
What are we going to do?
How about, let's do this Sigourney's,
Sigourney Weaver.
So I was going to say Sigourney Seaver.
That would be good.
Sigourney Weaver, let's do it.
She is apparently going to be in the Mandalorian and Grogu.
Let's talk about this report.
that came out by Jeff Snyder over the weekend.
I wonder why he dropped it over the weekend.
Or are you dropping on Friday?
I'm not sure.
Where is it?
Sigourney Weaver, the legend that is.
There is a big rumor that she is joining the Mandalorian film.
Okay.
So three-time Oscar nominee, Sigourney Weaver, might be joining the Star Wars universe.
The Alien and Avatar actress is reportedly in talks for a key role in the next film of the
Mandalorian and Grogu.
the project is set to be directed by John Fabra, who was also producing.
Production on the project started to start, excuse me,
slated to start this year in advance of an expected release on May 22,
2026.
It'll be the first of several other Star Wars films on the way,
with one data for December, 26, and another for December, 27.
It's expected that the Charmina obeyed Chenoy directed film starring Daisy Ridley
or the James Mangle directed film about the dawn of the Jedi,
will be the two um okay i mean this a no brainer right you get sigourney weaver and it's like yeah sign
me up right away of course we don't want that who doesn't want that you it absolutely you get rippley
to be in she's one of the i tell you what that if if katy sackoff winds up joining that movie
she's gonna lose her mind so that's one of her like big inspirations so i'd love to love to see that
But man, Sigourney Weaver joining it.
That's a great, that's a great call.
The question is like, what will she do?
And we don't know anything about that story.
It's easy to, you can predict anything as far as what she would potentially do, could do.
You could see it being part of the new government of the new republic.
You could see her being like a Monmothma type.
You could see her be in a, you know, a kind of chiseled, an old vet in the bounty hunter scene.
you could see her i mean she could do anything she could do anything so i i i think i'd rather see her
i'd like to see her in that role where the kind of like the mon mothma type thing that'd be cool
i mean anything anything that she's gonna do what are you gonna i just hope she's not underutilized
i should say i hope they i hope the user and it's john fabro he's gonna use it to for full ability
but you're like yeah that's a goini freaking weaver to be in this thing now you give her a
big role and and i thought she had a good role in in what she did in avatar in the way they continued
you use her over an avatar i think that would be that'd be sweet i'm excited to see it i think it's a
very solid role good casting to especially get us kind of hyped up for it and i wonder what kind of
cast they're going to put together overall if sigourney weaver's kind of the first big name to join
that movie right because you know pedro vizcal obviously is the voice but he's not going to really
be in the movie he's going to be voicing maybe it does like a couple camera uh helmet comes off a few different
times, but for the most part, he's not going to be very, it's going to be Brendan Wayne.
He's going to be doing the majority of it.
And So Gorney Weaver might have a more massive role than we even think.
So I love this.
I think this is great.
Really, that's interesting too.
Someone said it could be Bo's mom.
I mean, maybe.
I mean, Katie would lose it.
Lose it if that was the case.
So yeah.
And this is great.
Love this.
okay so i told you guys i'm we're going to move on to a few more things i want to get to your
questions earlier today too but we have we got a lot to talk about we have the deadpool stuff we got
um you know the the last of us stuff but i told you guys a little bit beforehand i talked to you
about um you know mother's day was over the weekend and i was i was i was doing my

wife. I'm going to call my wife right now just to show you guys how much I love Mac Weldon. Here you go.
Hey.
Just call me? I did. So I'm telling the audience about Mac Weldon. I want you to say a few words about
what you've noticed so far with me wearing Macwell then?
They fit your body really well, flattering.
The materials that they use are high quality.
They're well-made, not cheap.
See?
They're just really flattering to a man's physique, and especially yours.
Well, these are classy.
This looks classy.
It makes you feel good.
The fits good.
I feel good when I'm wearing them.
I get a confidence boost when I'm wearing them,
and it's like it's not flashy, you know?
It's just like it's classic, and it feels like it's always in style.
Yeah, they are.
They're classic, classic pieces.
They're like staple pieces.
And it's regular.
It looks like regular clothes, but they just look better.
I mean, like they had that, I had got, they gave me some sweatpants.
They gave me that polo.
I mean, those pants that I really, I really like those pants.
I think it's really great for the casual professional.
Yes.
Who doesn't want to be just, you know, really like ragged jeans and t-shirt,
but still kind of casual and comfortable.
It's a good, good for the casual professional.
It's not fancy and it's not overdressed, but it's still, you look like, you don't want to look like you rolled out of bed.
Yeah, well, there you go.
All right.
Thank you, honey.
Bye.
She had no idea I was going to do that.
And that's what she said.
So if you guys, you want to get a timeless look with modern comfort from Mac Weldon.
You got to go to Mac Weldon.com and get 20% off your first order.
We had to use that code, big thing.
Mac Weldon, M-A-C-W-E-L-D-O-N.com.
Use that promo code, big thing.
You will thank me.
I'm telling you.
love Mac Weldon.
I'm going to be shopping at Mac Weldon for very, very, very, very long time.
I promise you that.
All right.
So, thank you to both AG1 and Mac Weldon.
Told you, my wife, I knew it.
I knew I had to come because my wife has kept complimenting,
compliment me on Mac Weldon.
And I was like, I got to, I'm just like surprise.
I let her, she's so good.
And now she just naturally talks about these things.
And I was like, I know she loves it.
I'm just not have it. Get yourself something from McWeldon and obviously AG1,
but get yourself something from Mac Weldon like today. I'm like,
I'm obsessed with them. I'm obsessed and I want them to be part of this show for the next
20 years for as long as I'm doing this show. I want them to be doing,
be part of this as well as AG1. So, uh, thank you. Uh, this is a, this is Dune.
June two. That's what that is. Okay. All right. So we got more stuff to talk
about. I see that the super chats are coming in. And today's your opportunity, man. It's me and I'm a lonesome.
So if there's stuff that you want to start throwing in there and asking questions about, do it now.
And we'll get to it. We'll get to all the topics today. Let's do it. Let's do it. Let's do it. What else we got?
We have these another, the other thing I wanted to talk about was, oh yeah, this one. So I'm getting into Shogun right now. I'm like about three episodes in.
Really enjoy it. And we had this story the other day about
Shogun part, season two.
And they were like, no, that probably just can't happen because of the books and this is not
going to happen.
But apparently, that's not true.
Apparently, there is going to be a potential season two.
And this is what happened.
This is the story that broke again over the week.
There's so much stuff that broke over the weekend.
Where the hell did I see this?
The season two of Shogun somewhere.
But the question is, where did I see it, guys?
I could have sworn that's where I pulled that picture from that I saw it today.
All right, yes, Sonata closing a deal for Shogun season two.
I knew I didn't make that up.
Veteran actor, sorry, veteran acting icon.
Hurricane Sonata has reportedly closed the deal to return as Lord Yoshi Torinaga for a second season of Avax's highly acclaimed period series Shogun.
Reports deadline.
Elements are reportedly still being worked on and other deals are being final.
in an effort to continue this series in the wake of its commercial and critical success.
Securing the actor has been considered crucial to those plans.
There is a deadline to all this as Emmy submissions are coming up,
and the outcome of these deals will determine whether the series can be considered for either limited or a drama series category.
Limited series is highly contentious this year, but drama series competition is lighter than usual.
However, not all the pieces are in place for a second installment,
as yet with Sonata's deal said to be a great start.
The other obvious question is the story is what they say.
The recent 10 episode run was based on James Clavel's iconic novel,
but Clavel never wrote a direct sequel.
His others works like Taipan, Kajin, King Rat,
and Noble House are set centuries later with different characters.
The recent series was six years in the making across multiple continents
and FX's most expensive series to date.
The results were widespread, critically acclaimed, and strong ratings,
and the show pulled in nine million views globally across Hulu, Disney Plus,
and Star Plus in its first six days.
I think I'll tell you this.
I really like this show a lot.
I think this could be a big mistake.
I think this could be a big mistake because this could go down the road of the
Game of Thrones thing where they're like, well, George didn't finish the novel.
Let's just start writing stuff.
Nothing against the writers who had this, but they adapted a book and made a great series
out of it.
I don't think it's a great idea.
I think it might, it might be too big of a risk.
to say well yeah there's good screenplays you know you had the essence of where you wanted to go with it but
it's not really based off a book and the historical accuracy and this and i think it might be a mistake
is if it just to get the nominations on it on a drama series as opposed to the limited series
i don't know i don't know it it depends um they really got to lock it in and
They mean, clearly the writers know the characters.
So maybe they can go somewhere with them, but it took a long time to adapt just this book.
Now, I don't know if that's just because of legal stuff, but or just to crack the code.
But I mean, you listen to Justin Marks when he was talking.
He just seemed like, yeah, it's not something we're going to, we're going to do.
And it, I just hope it's not one of those things where it was like, uh, money knocking down the door of, hey, we need to keep this going.
It was just too damn good.
we don't want to we we don't want to quit here so let's put let's push out another one that's what
i hope isn't because that's happened many times over and we don't want to see that happen so i don't know
fingers fingers crossed i'm going to finish it i'll tell you what i am watching i start watching
that show was it dark matter with joel edgerton and uh jennifer connelly really liked that show on
apple but you know it's right up my alley it's about um so for what i read i want to be careful
and total line on and i want to be spoilery because so when i read the description of what the show is
about what they give you and it's essentially this guy is a he's a he's a he's a works in quantum
physics and he's a teacher he had the potential to do more but he's family man teaches at a college
one day his friend who has made it says hey man want to give you a gig so think about it you know you
you have to kind of leave the family and do some stuff here.
What do you got?
And it turns out, he winds up, um, getting involved in a, I say a, an alternate universe,
a different version of himself.
And, and, and, and it's just kind of like a mystery of what's going down.
I'll give, just going to give you that.
And it's Joel Edgerton, who's the star of the show.
Jennifer Connolly plays his wife.
And we're, we're only in, there's only three episodes out right now.
We're in the middle of episode two.
And both my wife and I are very intrigued.
So digging it.
Digging it.
I really like it.
So, yeah.
I think that's it.
Yeah, that's it.
Okay.
So let's,
let's move on to some more stuff here.
Because there's,
like I said, there's a ton of,
there's really a lot of stuff here.
We can get to the,
let's get to the last of us.
I'm bringing, I don't know.
I mean, I'm not even going to show the pictures.
I mean, the last of us pictures, I think it's her sitting on the,
sitting on a car.
And then the other one is, what the hell else was it?
It was just it's, it's her sitting on a car.
And then the other one is, uh, yeah, just like a building.
And it looks like it's like a shot from the video game, but it's,
it's clearly not.
And maybe that's the new Abby character.
Who's this?
So it's just, it's just to hype up the fact, hey, get,
don't worry.
We're coming back.
Which is great.
Which is great.
Oh, Ryan, I'm just busting your chops, man.
I'm not, I wasn't, I wasn't, man.
If you see me laughing and smiling and throwing things up there,
it means that I feel like we're at a, at a bar and,
and we're breaking each other's chops.
So don't, yeah, you'll got to play, play with me.
Play with me.
Yeah, baby.
Woo-hoo.
Yeah.
there's too many things to be uh to get worked up about that certainly isn't isn't it um so
yeah i know i know there's the rings of power season two teaser coming out tomorrow i don't
i don't know i wonder how they i can't imagine that they uh were too thrilled about the
the gallum news because i think more people are going to be excited about that than that show
that show's got that shows one more that shows got one more that shows got one more
more season to get people back on board and they got to shift their tone they got to change up
what they did the first time around there's some episodes of that show that worked and their other
shows it just felt you didn't have the essence at all and some really bad plot twist so i don't
know i don't know about that one um they've got yeah they've got uh it was like you know what reminds me
it was almost like um back in the day there was there was two different ghost busters uh cartoons that came out
And one, I think were they both okay?
I remember one, well,
one was the traditional one that you knew from the movies.
And the other one was like something completely different.
I was like,
I don't know,
this is fine.
There wasn't really a gorilla ghostbuster or something too?
I don't know.
But you don't remember that one as much.
That's what it seems like.
Seems like this one is the gorilla ghostbuster one.
Yeah.
So I'm not sure.
It's just,
it's,
I'm not hyped about that show anymore.
And I think that,
once she got in the fact i don't even think peter jackson was even asked to come back to that amazon
or even asked to be part of that amazon one so i think that was a mistake i think you would if you
would have gotten him involved in that you probably would have had a little bit more um people getting
more psyched about it but i think that i think they're going to be i think that show's going to be in
trouble if they can't if they can't put together and and many shows by the way have done this a lot of
shows have had just an okay season one or not great season one and then just said
boom came back strong in season two they need to have a completely rehauled number two season
where it's just like this is this is what the show has the potential to be and just fire it up
and get people excited about it that's how you save that series if it's the same kind of like it's fine
you're not going to survive especially with the gaolm movie coming out so um that's it
let's go i think we have um that's some more stuff that we can talk about i know let me talk about
that deadpool story because i thought that was interesting you guys hear about this the i guess
x-men 97 was not allowed to use Deadpool that was the one thing that they couldn't they weren't
allowed to do, which I guess makes sense. We'll read the story and then we'll talk about it.
All right. Here is the story from, as I read it from Dark Horizons.
And it says, Deadpool was off limits for X-Men 97. Marvel Studios animated revival series,
X-Men 97 has seen several characters who appeared in the MCU show up on screen, including
Captain America and Spider-Man. However, show creator and former showrunner Bo DeMaio has
confirmed that one specific character was deemed
as a no-go area and as Deadpool.
Asked where the character is at by a fan.
DeMaio responded on X saying he was off limits.
Disney put a foot down not allowing the character to appear,
not expected, not unexpected,
with the live-action Deadpool and Wolverine film coming in July.
The comment comes ahead of the show's season finale,
which will air on Wednesday.
The series is in production on the second season
and is already considering a third.
Two months on since he was fired from the series,
it is still not clear why DeMayo was let go,
with details under wraps,
producer Brad Winderbaum added to EW that the man's exit was more of a we parted ways situation.
I don't know about that. I don't know about that. We parted ways two days before.
Well, we parted ways. I guess. Uh, hey, listen, we found this thing out. It's not good.
What do you think? I agree. Um, we don't want to say anything publicly about it.
We think we should just kind of shake hands and you could kind of do your own thing and we won't
mention it.
I agree.
Okay.
So we're going to par ways.
You're not going to say anything?
No.
You?
No.
Okay.
We agree to par ways?
We agree.
I'll be positive on Twitter and I won't say anything bad about you guys either.
Okay.
We won't mention this.
We'll pretend it never happen.
See you.
That's what it seems like.
Because if he felt like he was wrongfully let go, he would have said something.
two days before he got before the premiere came out and it could be one of those things where
it's like if he was talking with if and if he was talking about hey it was wrongfully this
wrongfully that then disney comes back and goes well no this is what happened neither one of them
has said anything that leads me to believe there's something pretty bad happened or something
not great happened and they went you say nothing you don't say nothing let's let's
agree to part ways
So that could be factual, but I don't know.
That's why they say to people when they go, oh, wait a minute, when this person did that,
I don't know, seems a little double standard to me.
It's like, you don't know what happened.
If it turns out it's just an only fan thing, then yes, I agree with you.
But you can't say that until you know what happened.
I don't think we ever will.
Oh.
What did Snyder say?
Does Snyder say something?
Yeah, but just the only.
fans, you can't, you can't fire somebody for an only fans.
If that's why, if, if you did that, if you fired him from an only fans,
and he, then he would rightfully be able to say, they got rid of me because of this,
because of my only fans, that's why they got rid of me.
And he would be, he would get so much support from people going, what are you talking about?
Just from, from his personal thing.
And then that's why you're getting rid of him.
There's no way.
That's the only reason.
There's no way.
There's no way.
But anyway, some we're talking about it.
I'm about Deadpool.
Makes sense that they wouldn't want them to use Deadpool with with Deadpool being.
They want the first time you see Deadpool in the new Disney era to be in Deadpool, Wolverine.
And they don't want any references.
They don't want anything else to.
And plus the fact, Ryan Reynolds is probably and rightfully so, very protective of the character right now.
And what he was able to do and bring the character in to the, I mean, the first time he'd play
him was in that stupid movie that wasn't very good.
But then he wound up playing him in Deadpool 1 because he was able to get the control
that he wanted.
And he's very protective, rightfully so on the character.
So he's probably like, nah, you know, they're probably using well in X-Men 87.
That's fine.
But we want Deadpool and Wolverine to be the first time we ever do Disney Marvel stuff at all.
So it makes sense.
And it's fine.
This show hasn't, has been using who they're going to use.
And they've been doing it pretty damn.
well. So I think it works. That's it. All right. So I'll tell you what we're going to do. I'm trying to
think if there's any other topics that are really pressing right now. Like, oh, we got to talk about
this. Otherwise, what the hell are we doing? Um, I think that's it. I think that's it. That's the,
that's the big stuff to talk about. And then I want to get to your questions. So we'll do that.
Let's do it. I'm going to, I'm going to tell you guys about two more peeps.
And then we'll get to the, we'll get to the question.
So if you have any questions you want to send in, send them in now.
And we'll get to them.
We got a lot to talk about.
You want to break some bad habits?
Try this.
Let's talk about some habits.
Because you guys know you got some habits.
And there's nothing better than beating a bad habit with a good habit.
And we've talked about fume before.
You guys, you guys know, we've talked about fume.
We've had fume on and we're glad that they are bad.
It's great.
And Mark Riley is the one who's really been talking this thing up.
And I can't wait for him to talk about it even more so on the show when he's on for UAP.
And he just talking about how flavorful it was better than he thought.
It feels very fresh.
And it's like refreshing herbal tea, but if it was vapor, it was, you can look at like sticky soda.
It's got none.
It's really good.
It's well-weighted.
It's perfectly balanced.
It's extremely fun to fidget.
with and it really look at the wood itself it's it's great you can start the year off right

They use delicious flavors.
And that's why I got involved.

You guys have spoken.

You help yourselves out.
So all the links to this.
our sponsors are in the description so make sure you check that out all right we have a lot of
questions here today that i want to get to and i want to make sure that every time i do this
you guys are know that whatever it is you want to talk about i mean obviously movie related
trailers tv wrestling whatever it might be you want to talk about it it can be anything
let's talk about life throwing a super chat let's have a conversation um the first thing i want to
do is I want to bring up a question that Carlton Rudder had brought in this was two weeks ago
and for some reason we missed it and he said London calling who were your screen crushes when you were
growing up I think we talked about this I did I did bring this one up maybe we I did who your screen
crushes when you were growing up mine were Phoebe kates Heather Thomas and Christy Brinkley
mine were mine was definitely like Alyssa Milano and Julia Roberts those were the two I just wanted
to take this opportunity also to thank you.
you for your channel with all your colleagues and the various shows you host thank you so much so
much i've started my own movie review blog that's awesome man thank you carlton um yeah the lisa milano and
julia roberts those are my two and um i think that that's uh that was like everybody else
i was growing up but uh there's this as where i'm sure tons of people now today is like margar
robbie and sydney so there you go that that was that was mine all right now today's questions
start here with Dennis Hoffman.
I really enjoyed the new apes.
By the way, we'd love to see you interview Frank Grillo.
I did interview him once at Collider Live.
He was great.
I feel like you'd have an awesome conversation.
Your vibes would sync.
I've interviewed him before.
And we did.
I can't remember what I did.
I wound up something happened where, what did I do?
I messed up and I said something stupid.
I didn't have enough sleep.
And he was kind of broke.
Funny the way he did.
He broke my book.
balls. It said something along the lines.
I like, what are you talking?
This is what you do?
I can't remember what he said.
But it was, it was, I just remember going, I like this guy.
Definitely see like just cracking jokes.
It was good.
Man, this I got to, I got to make sure I edit this stupid audio thing out from earlier today
to once I, I'd re-upload this.
I'm not going to re-upload it, but I'll just do the YouTube fix where you can knock that out.
It was real annoying, wasn't it?
I think so.
Okay.
Let's see. So we're going down the, going down all the super chats here today.
And next one was from our good buddy Gallagost who said, stuck in meetings all day and thought I'd love.
They sent some loving before the move.
Stanley said it best, you can't buy love, but you can rent it for three minutes.
Cheers. Thank you. You, you are, I mean, they are like the people that I always know every single time are going to throw, are throwing in some love and support.
and you are always one of those people so i thank you so much every every monday we have like our
it's like i feel like we only we have like a bar on mondays and you always get like the the regulars
that come in and sit around the bar and get like the and galago is definitely like the one of our is like
like our norm and cheers for sure you always know you're going to see him there and he's going to
get a laugh and he's going to cheer you up uh mike joyce i don't buy your argument the
day that it's too expensive to go to the movie subscription services like amc a list
and Regal Unlimited, one out of two.
I didn't say that it's just too expensive overall.
And you see, but you're talking here, Mike, I think, correct me if I'm wrong and I'm sure
you have a part two here.
You're talking as if just one person going by themselves.
You're not taking into consideration families and stuff too, because I can tell you there's
another person in here that I talk to often who will definitely go with the fact that
they choose whether you have the AMC thing or not.
you choose to go to the movies now where it's like,
okay, look,
I've got this that I want to see.
The family wants to see it.
And you're spending money on three to four,
five people.
Plus you're doing treats.
Maybe you're going to dinner.
I don't know.
But the treats are going to hit you in the pocket every single time when you go.
So whether you have the Stubbs thing or the A list and all that,
Regal Unlimited, you're still going to,
that's, that's yet.
another subscription you're also paying for.
Plus the fact you are paying for Apple, Disney Plus,
Hulu, Amazon Prime, Paramount Plus,
all these different things.
You didn't have that years ago.
Because when you know, it's like, hey, this new show and the quality of shows that
they put out now on these, whether the show I just mentioned on Apple and those shows,
if you were like, hey, I could go see a movie that I don't really know about and spend,
like, let's say fall guy.
If you had the casual viewer and going, you know, that probably be out in the next two or three months on TV or streaming.
We can wait or we can just watch that new show that we're going to start.
Do you want to go out?
And plus, the other thing that does add to it is people are horrible at movie theaters now.
I mean, horrible, even worse than it used to be with.
I mean, horrible.
It's so bad how bad people are at the movie theaters.
Like etiquette is just, it's gotten, it's, it's gotten worse and worse and worse.
So yeah, I'm gonna, I'm gonna respectfully disagree with you.
I think that it absolutely, pricing absolutely has a lot to do with why people and,
and things have gone up.
It's not, and not everybody has that service, by the way.
A lot of people do.
And those people are the ones who are going to the movie still.
But not a lot of people, not, not, I mean,
say not a lot, but a lot of people don't have that service and don't subscribe to that service.
So it absolutely is a reason why people don't go to the movies.
I guarantee you.
So I will respectfully disagree with you, my friend.
Yet again, another guy who's sitting at the bar every Monday.
So Mike's one of those, Mike's a good guy.
He's always in here supporting.
And I like the way the way Mike presented that.
I don't know, I don't like, you know, it wasn't disrespectful.
actually says, I don't buy it. I don't buy what you said last week. And here's why. I don't agree
with this take. We had a nice conversation about it. Thanks, Mike. Wesley Cunningham, how this
APE series has been handled by this producers is special. Yep, one film at a time, character
focused, not relying on a roadmap of sequels and spin-offs for each other to feel like
a complete story. Could not agree more. So I was so surprised at that B score. I mean, some of
the junk that's come out that has gotten better reviews than that. I mean, I even, I even, I
want to tell you let me see what what did what did the what did the what did the marvels wind up getting
what do the marvels do on rotten tomatoes let me see marvels on rotten tomatoes because i know
okay good not a great not a great one 62 percent so that's not that wouldn't be a good example
but i guess maybe the people i saw raven about it um as opposed to the people who just
do that this one's okay the apes movie um kingdom the planet of the apes i'm gonna see what that what that is
right now on rotten tomatoes that's 80% of rotten tomatoes so yeah i i thought it was i thought it was
a good movie anyway so yeah i i but i agree with you i like i like how they have presented this
overall and it's set up for i think they a total of they want to do um like eight films or nine
films i think they said i think a total like nine films of what they want to do uh mike joyce
following up make it pretty cheap to see movies people don't have to buy food at the theater too
and ticket prices only seem to be expensive in major cities.
I don't agree with you, Mike.
Prices have gone up everywhere.
People do wind up getting, you don't have to buy snacks,
but China people do.
It's where the theaters make their money.
And not everybody has that service.
So again, respectfully disagree, my friend.
Okay.
We're going to keep moving on here.
I mean, you still have people throwing in questions.
and I stay here until the questions are done, so don't worry.
Carlton Rudder, there he is.
I saw if on Saturday.
For me, unfortunate misfire.
No.
Sweet movie, but real pacing issues.
Gags didn't land Reynolds a bit flat, but Kaylee Fleming was super.
That's a bummer.
That's a bummer.
Well, I'll tell you that my, I feel like my six-year-old will still love it, right?
Because she's, she's so, anything that pops up with that movie, she's just so, she can't wait to see it.
So that's going to be the movie I'm going to take her to see her over the weekend.
but it's a bummer that's a bummer oh what a bummer okay Zach woolly I don't I don't
so granny weaver could be a new Leah Solo hmm I don't know if that came out the way you
wanted it to but I'm not I'm I don't want to try to make up what you said there um okay
is that it for today well we had a short one today guys oh no we're gonna get Pete Parker
2288.
Did you watch unfrosted?
Oof, it was pretty bad.
I don't know what that is.
Just binge Basked Reeves on Paramount and thought it was great.
Barry Pepper so underrated.
I have not seen Bass Reeves and I don't, I don't know what unfrosted is.
Let me double check.
What's unfrosted?
The hell is that?
Unfrosted.
Is that, oh, the Jerry Seinfeld thing.
No, I heard it was the farts though.
I didn't hear it was, I heard it wasn't that good.
So I guess you're also saying not that good.
Yeah, I heard it wasn't that good.
I mean, it doesn't mean this is an excuse, but doesn't really,
Jerry Seinfeld could put out eight shows until for the rest of his life,
and it could all be the worst things ever,
wouldn't matter.
You know,
his generations upon generations upon generations will,
will benefit from his last show,
the,
you know,
whatever it was,
Seinfeld,
for however many seasons it was.
But yeah, that's a bummer.
That's a bummer that it wasn't very good.
I'd look at a pretty good, pretty solid cast.
Artem Shakur Mania.
I'm a huge Star Wars fan, but starting with Last Jedi, I don't trust trailers anymore.
That's why I don't know what to think about Akulai trailers so far.
That is the most fair statement.
Anyone's given in this stream thus far?
Totally agree.
Yeah, I mean, and it's not just the Last Jedi, but there's tons of times where trailers can trick you.
and polish it up. I don't know. And I, you know, what's funny about that is for,
I don't you, I assume that you think that the trailers look good for Acolyte. And a lot of people do.
Um, so that's why I look, but I still don't want to trust it. I feel in the same way that I'm
like, I don't love the trailer so far, but I also don't know how much that's going to represent
the show that we're going to get. So I'm still going out. I'm going in there with, okay,
let's see what the show is. I'm going to give it the benefit of the doubt. But it's because of the fact that there's been,
So subpar a lot of these things.
And a lot of the Star Wars stuff, unfortunately, gets worse with age than better.
There's a couple times.
Like I try, like, there was a few times when I was watched, okay, it wasn't that bad.
And then the more you watch it, it gets worse.
Although, I think Rogue One is, is not that.
Rogue one to me got better and better and better.
I think Rogue One is easily the best thing that they've done since, movie-wise, movie-wise,
is the best thing that they've done since the original trilogy.
And yeah, for sure.
I think the Force Awakens, as I mentioned,
I liked a lot when it came out.
And I still think it's a good movie with the problem.
I just know where it goes afterwards.
And it just kind of like, it's just kind of a bummer to watch.
But when you watch the acolyte,
it's like, okay, well, what is this?
I think I had this conversation with,
with a patron recently too.
And I was just like, it just looks generic.
And he's like, well,
the final, like what you think generic is about it.
And I was telling them my examples on what I thought,
the reasoning behind it.
And I hope that as I'm watching it,
I'm going, well, no, this date,
did some good writing here.
That's what's been missing.
Writing.
Writing hasn't been good in the,
I think since like season two of,
no, since Andor, since Andor.
Andor,
the writing in Andor is fantastic.
Fantastic.
The writing in Obi-1 was not good at all.
all writing in Assoco is not good at all.
And I hope that the writing gets is good for this one.
She's a good writer.
I mean, she's a good writer or good storyteller.
So hopefully writing is,
hopefully they define the character.
So we'll see.
We'll see.
But I think you're absolutely in the right to be skeptical on.
Okay.
Next one here.
And this is from.
the dart double o five nice to hear another man's wife opinion on mac weldon well done if you know you know
if you know you know that was good that was good one that was good that was good that was really good i'm not
even going to explain the joke because if you know you know jim one have you seen the hunt for gollum
youtube movie pretty good for a 3k fan film no i haven't not sure how w b can stretch this short story
into a big budget film. Is that where it came from? Did it come from that YouTube movie?
I don't know where it's going to come. I don't know how they're going to do it.
But, I mean, you know, that's the thing. If they have it from Peter Jackson, then maybe.
Yeah. Okay. Let's see. Let's go to the next one here too. So we just started the super chats.
Someone asked, I know we're kind of deep into them now. Pete Parker 2288. Is it ticket
price or snacks that are the issue. That depends on who you're talking to. Because if someone does
have that AMC past thing or, you know, the regal thing, then it's like, okay, I'm going to go X amount
of times a week and do that. But the question is, you know, are you paying for your whole family to go?
You're paying just you to go. The snacks do get more and more. I mean, it's the snacks now are,
it's insane how much, how much money the snacks are now. It's, but I think that the snacks, too,
are usually what are going to be the main issue for people if they have that past thing.
So that would be my guess.
Renee Reyes.
Happy Monday, Christian.
I saw Apes movie over the weekend.
I like the movie and interested in the story they want to tell,
but I still like the other three movies before.
It's hard to replace Caesar.
I think that's more than fair.
I don't think that I'm ready to say that I like,
I would probably,
if I'm going to rank them,
and Mike Vogel from GeekBuddies just ranked them the other day.
And I think that it was completely on the same page.
as he was. But if I'm going to rank the new ones and not include the Charlton Heston ones,
the one, rather the older ones, the new ones I'm going to say, and this doesn't say anything
about the quality of the movies. I'm just going to say, I would go, dawn, rise, war, and then
kingdom. And I could potentially put war and kingdom in the same spot, but I got to see them both
again. But, but yeah, so I completely, absolutely agree.
And the other thing that is unfair to kingdom is that we spent three movies with Caesar, right?
We've only spent one with Noah.
So we don't know the progression of where Noah is going to go and where the rest of this story is going to go.
What I would say is if they get to, you know, the next two movies, then let's compare the total kingdom, whatever the next one is, whatever the next one is, and then compare them to the original three with.
Caesar and go, I don't know. That second one was pretty damn good. Is that as good as Dawn?
I don't know. Because remember, when Rise came out, nobody was like losing their minds with
I remember having a conversation with Ethan Irwin when, and I was like, I'm excited to see where
they're going to go with this. And that, that was like a surprise movie. People weren't psyched for
that one. People were much psyched for Dawn because of what Rise did. So, you know, I'm, I'm,
I'm curious to see. And I hope they continue because I really like these movies a lot. Okay.
Next one. Mirror domains. Love your reactions. The House of the Dragon. Are you going to do them for season two next month? Keep up the good work. I think that, thank you for the kind of words. I actually do think I'm going to do them for those. I, yeah, I pick and choose which ones I'm going to do actual reactions to the full episodes too because they, well, they cost money for the editor. They take a lot of time. And if you guys, you guys tell me if you want them or not through clicking on the videos.
And if they don't do well, they're not worth doing because I can watch them and do reviews of them.
But those, those were, those were good ones to do.
So I'll probably wind up doing those again and given it a shot for that, for that season for sure.
Okay.
Is that it now?
I think, I don't know yet.
Could be it.
It might be it.
No, there's a couple more.
Sorry.
Mad Sinister McCall.
We'd love to see you interview Anthony Starr, but during the interview, he shows up his homeless.
Yeah, I don't think I'm going to be able to do that.
Also, Jedi, uh, Kai Adi Mundi from Star Wars, Snorrs.
He might.
He might.
Uh, I look, Anthony Starr is my, is my one that I would absolutely love to interview.
I think that he's, I think, you know what movie he was really good in that I haven't
even mentioned when I mentioned the movie was the covenant.
He was in the covenant for, I don't want to say small role, but smaller role.
And he was great in it.
He was great.
So he's,
he's,
he's,
he's,
he's, he's,
he's, he's,
with the,
with the,
with the,
with the boys universe right now,
but I hope he does other things as well,
because he's great.
And I would love to interview him.
Absolutely would love to.
I did see that someone wrote about the new Agatha title.
I'm just,
I think they're doing a thing now where like,
they do new Agatha title.
It's probably,
I think someone,
I saw someone else,
right?
This is probably the episode titles.
I don't know.
I'm not very excited for that show.
Uh, wicked art.
I'm going to go see apes this weekend and I will be saving money because my family doesn't want to see it, but I enjoy the hell out of it myself.
Two pages left on issue number five, keep up the great work.
So wicked art, if you don't know, does the capes and cows comic books for Patreon and people have bought hard copies of them and they're amazing.
I've got someone.
I'm going to be hanging them up in the new studio.
Uh, but he's an example, right?
So he's going to save money because he's going to see it by himself.
He's not taking his family because, and.
And he's like, okay, fine, let's go see it by myself.
And I don't have to spend the money on a movie that my family doesn't want to see.
So going back to Mike's point that if you're going by yourself, easier to do.
And I'm sure that a wicked art didn't have his lovely family, he'd probably see more movies in the same way that, you know, I probably, you know, it's very hard for me if I don't get to the screenings, to see movies by myself.
just see movies just like normalness I'm taking like my my six year old or my 12 year old to go see a
movie it it's hard for me to just go okay well I missed a movie I'm gonna go see it now in the
in the theater it's hard for me to do okay let's see we're at a bar what you go to drink
um this is from rene rea reyes by the way probably a either rum and diet or a or a or
kettle and sprite, but I will tell you that most recently, I've been drinking wine, man.
I've been drinking wine. Depends on the bar that we're at, too.
But I've been drinking wine. When I went to meet my friends last time when I was in New York,
I was just drinking wine. And I died last night. Mother's Day.
Glass of wine. So I really wanted freaking first leaf to come back. You guys didn't buy any wine.
That is great wine subscription. You guys didn't buy any of the wine. They didn't come back.
I loved having them on. They were great. That deal.
I'll tell you because you guys are you guys are my buddies.
You blew it with that one because that was that was a great deal.
But yeah, I've been drinking a lot of wine.
Let's see.
Next one, Zach Woolley.
Sorry, that was supposed to say, do you think she could be the new layer?
I don't know, Zach.
I don't know if it's working out for you today.
The new layer, new player?
Are you messing with me?
Sorry, that was supposed to say, do you think she could be the new Jedi?
I don't know.
Zach, I'm trying, man.
I'm trying.
Okay, what else we got?
Got another mad sinister McHale is a leafblower on your Amazon wish list.
No, I will tell you, man, I was so shocked with how many people got some stuff from that wish list.
Like I told you, over the weekend, I told Brad, I was like, yeah, we got to, we got a, we're going to have a good start with this wish list.
We got some stuff.
We're going to have, the studio is going to look sick.
Can't wait.
So we're going to be setting up, and we'll give you guys, again, for people on Patreon, you'll see the kind of build out as we're
do it but leaf flow is not not in the cards i don't think right now um yeah look this is so someone
ed haskell so he's it's emce premiere and still large popcorn and the soda is like 18 bucks
it's 20 bucks every time you go to the movies so it's not cheap man so that's it okay uh keeping it
going keeping it going all right kiki and luka big fan of yours thank you very much many theaters are
empty. Will there be a day when theaters will go the way of the drive-in theater and disappear completely?
I don't think so. First of all, I don't, I think big people with money won't let it go away.
That's, that's, that's, but I do think that I do think eventually studios will own theaters
and theater chains might go out. That is more likely, is that the theater chains might not be able to,
or might have to change their ways, but go and, and, and I don't know, I shouldn't say never, because the
other idea of it is with virtual reality and certain things that can happen, you know,
with virtual, the way you can bring things up and the way technology is changing.
Who knows?
Even the other day when I had, I mean, with whatever, it's not even called Oculus and
meta, whatever it's called now, I have one of the, the headsets and even watching like
Amazon Prime through that, you feel like you're in the, you know, you're in the movie theater
and you see the big screen.
That's like, this is like the eight track version of that in a couple, in like five years,
well virtual reality is going to be like, you probably don't even have to have the big clunky thing on.
It probably just zip you right into it.
So it might be the Wally situation of where you can actually place your, like, if, if I was able to get to it, you know, if I could just push a button and this is, this is, this is no technology that exists right now.
But if I could push a button that allowed me to be in the theater, if I could watch this, I'm going to watch Dune 2 in a theater experience right now with the sound, you know,
like if I had the sound in my ears and it could be like the same type of sound with a big,
huge screen that I could do virtually and it just feel like I'm actually watching it.
Or you're like, well, you have to sit next to a bunch of people on their phones.
The guy who's eating a burrito farting his ass off the whole time.
What do you choose?
Give me the button.
And as tech keeps going on and on and on, that might be a thing.
I don't know.
But I don't think it'll go away because I think the theater experience for certain movies are just too.
needed. Speaking of June, like I had to see Dewan in the big screen. I was so mad of myself that I took this stupid stance that I didn't need to see it. I mean, it was during the pandemic and I probably still wouldn't have gone. But like, I was like, nah, I don't need to. I can just watch this stuff at home now. The day and day and stuff. I can just watch movies at home. I don't need to see it. The theater experience is the theater experience. So, I don't know. Luke Skywanker. It's up, buddy. In your opinion, what's the greatest R-rated movie ever made? Well, what?
are the greatest movies ever made what is the greatest movie ever made i guess that's so hard to say
um i mean i can tell you like the movies that pop up in my mind or you know the the standard answers
empire strikes back godfather two um like internal sunshine and spotless mind is one of my favorites
i think it's kind of perfect uh inception is a great one too there's so many different movies
that pop into my head so i i can't i can't say what the greatest is plus the fact it's like i i
That's why I always think it's so silly when people argue with each other about, like, you know, how if you think a movie is stupid and you yell at somebody for it, it's like, we don't watch movies the same.
My experiences in my life make me look at movies differently than you do because you've had different experiences in your life.
And there's certain things that someone, a character says that you relate to in your memory that reminds you of something that someone said or you can relate to or that, that, or there's certain ways and dreams that you've had that makes you think about.
about a particular thing that resonates more with you and ambitions and things that you had and
creative things. It just goes on and on and on about why you like movies and why I like movies
and we might have similar interests, why we might have a similar interest in, you know, a particular
movie. But it's like, yeah, it's so your favorite movie or what you think is the best
might be on the same page as me, but it might be completely different. So yeah, it's just hard.
it's hard to say when that question goes up but those are the ones the first ones i think of
jim one hunt for gallum is based on a chapter early in the fellowship of the ring when arragorn
and gandolph tried to find gollum but we already know soron got to him first ah i see i see okay well i wonder
how they're going to play with that are they're going to so does that mean they're going to bring
arragorn and uh and e mackleham back i mean that's interesting to do a full movie out of that
if that's the case huh i don't know
Is that it?
Oh yeah, Braveheart.
That's one of the, that's up there too.
That's right.
No, there's more.
Artem,
Shaccaramanian.
I'm definitely not saying your name right and I apologize.
I went to the movies last week.
I paid for four people with snacks and drinks.
I paid 120.
I know.
That's what I mean.
You know, 120 bucks to go see the movies.
It's like money is a major issue.
I love you, Mike.
But money is a major issue.
And whether you have,
that pass or not it's a major issue you might have self-control and say i'm you know what i'm just
going to the movies today i ain't buying snacks i'm not paying for parking i'm walking the movies i ain't
doing nothing except going to see his movies this thing that i i pay for every month but you still
paying for that every month so yeah it's a thing it's a thing i'm trying to see if this is if that was
the last one or not i think that was the last one guys so unless there's anything else that you guys
want to talk about today.
Uh, I think that's it.
That's today's show.
We had a, it's a shorter show.
And like I said, Roke will be back and we're, and I'm, so the way it's working here today,
or this week, rather, is that so Riley and I will do a show for UAP Tuesday tomorrow.
Wednesday, Wednesday I'm going to try.
I'm going to try to do a virtual show with Mike and Steph.
But if I can't, then Brett and I are going to try to do.
a on the road show. Thursday, Brett and I would definitely be doing on on the road show.
And then Friday, I'm going to try to do a show with, with Coy and Winston from New York.
And then Monday we'll be back with Roka and myself next week. So there's a lot moving.
There's a lot moving right now. And so everybody who contributed to that Amazon wish list, thank you.
Oh, there we go. Unknown D. Any advice for reactions?
So those are always the toughest, right?
So if you're doing reactions in general to like trailers,
then I just,
like this is my advice.
This isn't,
this is,
you talk to other people.
I don't know what they're going to tell you.
But for me,
I would much rather watch a trailer like this.
Hmm.
Okay.
If that's my reaction,
then to do,
whoa!
Huh?
when it's not real.
Yeah.
It's like it's so fake.
It's like that's not real.
And it's that I don't, that I don't suggest doing because I feel like if you're over,
if you're overdue, I would rather someone go,
oh, boring reaction.
All you do was look at him.
Like, yeah, that's, that's the, that's the response that it'll listen to me for me.
That was it.
Um, if you're doing an out of the theater reaction, give your first thoughts.
When you pop out there, start walking.
Hey man, look.
just do it just whatever comes to mind have some fun and that's to me that's that's that's that's
the beauty of that one is that when people go oh that's just that's stupidest comment i got on the
reactions it's essentially a review no it's not review is a review is when you sit down for like
four to six minutes you can really go over it and start to break it down just your initial
thoughts are like you know i thought this was good and this is that's not a review it's just
your first like that's my reaction when i came out of the theater they like what
What was your reaction when you, when you heard that?
Well, my reaction when I heard that is this, this, this and this.
Breaking down a full thing is a review.
Now, reviews, if you do that, the advice to that is be yourself, do what you got to do as far as be authentic.
Same thing that I was saying with the reactions.
And that's, and if you're doing like the, the other thing, like the House of the Dragon reactions when you're doing those videos, it's all goes back to the same thing I'm saying.
Just be authentic.
That's, that's it.
Um, so I think that's all.
But yeah.
But, oh, yeah.
So what's hilarious is that.
So we've done these, um,
galaxy geeks who's helped out with a lot of our shorts and a lot of the things that
you've seen.
He's been Luke over there's just been so, uh,
so helpful with that stuff is that, uh,
we did these elemental shorts.
And I've talked about this before again.
And, uh, Brett, he did a, just a regular reaction.
And then Luke broke it down.
to a short and it's the stupidest thing Brett like is literally looking at this thing and we've talked
about this before but he's looking at and he goes huh hmm oh one point two million views or something
stupid it's so stupid and I don't know how that works I don't know how the algorithm works I've
had no idea anyway uh okay so as always saying before we'll have a we'll have our stuff we're
going to see Brett and I are actually going to see Furios so we're going to see it in New York
So we will have our first out of the theater reaction from New York, which is going to be great.
And then that's it.
So and let me know what in the comments.
What did you think of my wife's, my wife's Mac Weldon read?
I thought she was great.
You talk about authentic.
That's what I knew.
It's like she's, I, she was so good.
She was so good.
Any one of our sponsors here today, please go ahead, sign up.
You help out the show tremendously.
you help out the channel, you help yourself out,
get yourself something, Mac Weldon.
You will thank me.
It is my, it is one of the best companies I've ever, ever tried.
I love Mac Weldon.
Really, really do.
They're so, it is like my, my go-to,
they're like my go-to clothing thing now.
I really, really love them.
So check it out.
Okay.
Thanks, everybody.
Appreciate you.
See you later.
Bye.
