Starting point is 00:00:00 Any team that's tested AI tools for data has seen the pattern already. AI gives a different number than your BI tool. Metrics don't match across teams. And inevitably, users lose trust. It turns out, turning on AI is easy, but making it work on data is not. Hex AI was built to solve this. The key is nailing context. Hex is built to unify and curate your data context for agents.
Starting point is 00:00:28 Data teams can observe, govern. and continuously improve every AI answer, so answers get smarter the more your team asks. The result? Your entire organization asks data questions in natural language and trusts the answers, not because the AI got lucky, because it knows your business and its data. Because that's what an AI analytics platform should do. Join data teams from cursor, lovable, ramp, AWS, and over 2,000 more at Hex.AI. How's it going, everybody? Welcome back. It is Friday. It is the last in-studio Los Angeles show for capes and cows. Not the last show in general, the last one in the LA studio. So thanks for joining us here today. We got a lot to talk about, man. Blade, it's just turning into the new crow, meaning that every single time you think it's going to happen, a new movie's going to happen.
Starting point is 00:01:26 It doesn't. Something else happens. It pushes it back. finally the crow is getting a reboot and it's coming out soon but it took like 27 years whatever to finally get this thing made well now blade is running into the same problem this lost the director this time it says it's because apparently the director was being difficult is jordan peel gonna step in that's a rumor but we'll see uh the boys season four has debuted i have not had a chance to watch it yet but Winston and koi have and not only to hear their opinions obviously but it's one of the lowest rated seasons so far, still positive, still fresh, but one of the lowest, if not the lowest, thus far. We'll see what the guys thought about the first few episodes.
Starting point is 00:02:13 Booster Gold is getting a TV show, obviously, and it looks like we have the writing team now. How do we feel about that writing team? And there's other things that we'll discuss. So thanks for joining us here today on the show. If you haven't already, please subscribe to the channel. Hit the button. we are at almost 150,000 subscribers hoping to get there pretty soon. If you hit that button, that'd be wonderful. All right, let's get into it. It's me, Winston and Coy. Here we go.
Starting point is 00:02:43 Welcome back, ladies and gentlemen, to capes and cows, big thing. Myself, Winston and Coy. And here is the almost barren studio. The studio will be completely empty after the, but the guys came over today and they're going to, not only we're going to shoot a show, then afterwards we're going to tear it all down. and put everything, put everything out to pasture, if you will. But we have, but if you can see all the stuff, all the tables, the guys made out like bandits today.
Starting point is 00:03:11 Yeah, they really did. Coffee, magic mind. You got a magic mind. I'll give it back. Just change your mind, bro. I know, I know. Well, it's like, but we have to also figure because Koi's getting these lights because we can't have, that was interesting.
Starting point is 00:03:26 Just turned out. AI. That's Winston's new laptop. Yeah, there it is. It just, it just, it just, it just, spoke up. It's become self-aware. I know. We have, but we have, uh, we're now, it was miss minutes, bro. Yeah. Whoa.
Starting point is 00:03:39 Coy has a new, um, Coi has new lights now, these lights right now. So we're going to make sure that not only does his place look pretty good. Winston already has a pretty great setup, but Winston and Coy's going to be going over Winston's to shoot capes and cowls. And then those guys will be in the studio together. I will be in New York and we'll have, we'll still have the back and fourth, obviously, we'll be able to do things each and every week. And that's it. That's the final L.A. show today. So let's...
Starting point is 00:04:09 Before we even get started, I got a... So I was late today, and I actually have a funny story as to... Oh, sure. It's not even funny. It's just... Weird? Effing wild. Oh, okay.
Starting point is 00:04:19 So I'm running out the door, try and get over here. And all of a sudden, I see that the stairwell to get out is completely blocked off. And I go to call the elevator, the elevator won't come up. And I'm like, what the hell is happening? My girlfriend sends a message to the building being like, I'm on citizen right now, and it says there was a burglary in the building. The police are like involved now.
Starting point is 00:04:39 And I was like, really? And so I'm looking around and I do see some cops walking up and they're talking to the building manager and I'm trying to figure out what's going on. And I also see that one of my neighbor's furniture is all out on like the, like in the walkway on the floor above me. And I'm like, we kind of like an open courtyard. I'm like, what the hell is going on?
Starting point is 00:04:58 And so I finally get the building manager when he's done talking to the police just to ask what's going on. And he goes, well, the person in the fourth floor apartment with the balcony overlooking the stairwell had a full mental break and proceeded to all over his balcony and start throwing it on the neighbor's balconies
Starting point is 00:05:16 all on the thing down there. And it's considered vandalism because he is literally thrown doo-doo everywhere. And my poor, the neighbor below him that he was throwing it all on. That's a kind word for what he did. Well, I'm trying not to swear for the last show. No, no, no, no, I said vandalism.
Starting point is 00:05:33 Vandalism is real kind of. No, no, no, but that specifically as far as it's a crime at that point. No, I know what I'm saying. It's a kind of that's a nice thing. It's just like a biohazard. I feel like if vandalism is the lowest of the. How about inhuman? No, exactly.
Starting point is 00:05:45 But it's this poor 80-year-old man that just goes to shit. No, no, not that had the break. Oh, this is like a 40-year-old dude that had a full-net to break. The 80-year-old got all over his patio furniture. Oh, not in his head. No, it did hit. him all of this. This dude just goes out, smokes his cigarettes, and bothers nobody, the old man, and he just got rained all over his entire patio. This is what you're leaving, Christian.
Starting point is 00:06:07 This is what you're leaving. You're like, you should stay. Let me proceed to say this story. I was going to say, let's rewind. Reconsider. Oh, after that story, yeah. Let me just tell you a story of Los Angeles. You think that people don't ish all over the subways in New York. That's not living there. Do you have to take the train into work? Doesn't matter, though, but my kids don't have to deal. with that. That's true. We're going to be taking a train.
Starting point is 00:06:30 My kids have pooped with that, that type of stuff. Like, even yesterday. Who's doo-do in outside your house? Dude, there was something going on last night. It was like, like, there's like gunshots or something last night. They were like, I got like the note, I got the notice on the ring. There was like, did you hear on the two streets? Whoa.
Starting point is 00:06:44 Gunfire. And I'm like, get out of here. It's time to go. It's time to go. That's crazy. This city is just going to the, to the dumps, like all over the place. It doesn't matter where you live. Literally?
Starting point is 00:06:54 It's going to the dumps. To the, to the, to the is. But anyway, okay, so let's get into some of these stories. And here is the first one. And it's Blade, man. All right. Blade faces yet another setback as director Jan Demange departs the MC reboot. Now, the movie is still said to be going ahead,
Starting point is 00:07:15 but Marvel Studios' Blade reboot has faced yet another setback with the departure of the director. Mark Cassidy writes, Blade has been plagued by production ever since it was announced over four years ago, going through a number of directors and writers. project finally seemed to get back on track after a recent production weekly update claimed that the shooting was set to complete to, sorry, to commence this fall, but then we later learned that a new writer was being sought to give the script yet another major overhaul.
Starting point is 00:07:41 Marvel mainstay Eric Pearson from Fantastic Four is said to be working on the script, but the studio has now another spot to fill because earlier this month, a rumor claimed that the production had completely restarted because key players involved with the reboot are dissatisfied with the script. We're not sure if this was on the level, but the rap is now reporting that yet another director has parted ways with the project. Though as Partcha was said to be amicable, Jan Demange will no longer helm the movie and is said to have stepped away a while ago. Getting Blade Right is much more important than getting the film out, the pressure to produce as much content as possible, has lifted the studio and is now beginning to release just two films per year, which gives the team at Marvel some breathing room. Despite the new setbacks, the movie is still said to be moving. forward with Maharshala Ali attached to star.
Starting point is 00:08:28 Ali's last update during an interview with E.W. was positive. He said, we're still working on it. That's the best I can tell you. I'm really encouraged with the direction. I think we'll be back at it relatively soon. I am sincerely encouraged in terms of where things are and who's on board and who's leading the way as far as writing the script and directing and all that. So that's extended to what I can tell you. DeMange, who stepped in to replace Basam Tarek previously confirmed that the movie
Starting point is 00:08:50 will indeed be rated art. I'm excited to show ruthlessness, roughness. He allows him to walk in a particular way and I love him. that. All right, so here's a follow-up. Now, there are more details on Jan Demange's exit. Apparently, the filmmaker was described as difficult to work with, so amicable no more. Following the news that Jan Damage has exited Marvel Studios' Blade reboot, there are new details about his exit, including a clash with Mahershal Ali. Josh Wilding says Marvel Studios announced he was developing Blade reboot during a memorable Hall H panel at 2019. And Mahershal Ali hit the stage to
Starting point is 00:09:26 close out the panel alongside Kevin Feige confirming he would play Blade. The pandemic followed, as did a voice cameo in Eternals, but development on the reboot has since hit more than a few stumbling blocks. So in terms of Eric Pearson, pending the latest draft, Boena Mayo, Strasbury, Nick Palisado, Michael Green all took a crack at the screenplay yesterday evening. The reboot was hit another blow as the director left. According to Jeff Snyder, Ali is said to have grown frustrated with the director while he's considered a talent behind the camera.
Starting point is 00:09:54 the report claims that DeMange is also very difficult to work with. The Scooper adds that he and Marvel Studios parted ways in March. Kevin Feige is said to have been searching for a writer and director ever since. Though it could be, they'll eventually get the same person to do both. Last we heard, Blade will be a grounded, gritty take on the character rather than effects-laden Blockbuster, which runs the risk of feeling more like the same for Marvel Studios. Demand's previously confirmed it will be R-rated and we can't imagine that that's changed. So while some feel that Blade is cursed, the movie did get caught up in the pandemic,
Starting point is 00:10:24 in last year's Hollywood strikes. So the fact is that it's yet to materialize. It's not too surprising. Still, it's not hard to be a little concerned. Yes, movies cursed. November 7th, 2025. No chance. No, that's what's funny.
Starting point is 00:10:36 No chance. It can't. I think it's good for not four movies next year, though. So I agree with you. Can't is not the word, though. It can, but it should. Oh, yeah, no, there's no reality where it can be what it needs to be. I do like their patience idea, though.
Starting point is 00:10:52 I like the idea that they'd rather release it, then release it on time. And I like they're going to scale it down. And I think Blade can be. Yeah. But Winston, you seem torn. I love Mahershala Ali. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:11:06 I love the character of Blade. I'm kind of at that point where I don't even want this anymore. I'm with you, man. I'm with you. It's like, like, would it be great to see it? Sure. But like how long are they going to use Blade? Mahershaw Ali should be, and he is, he's doing other stuff.
Starting point is 00:11:22 He should be doing other stuff at this point. He's not on his 50s, if I remember. Yeah. I think he's like, mid-50s, isn't he? I think the Jurassic Park announcement was me being like, well, that's not, it's not that iteration coming out. I didn't realize the director.
Starting point is 00:11:35 The director probably left before the Jurassic Park public announcement. Yeah. I just, my issue with this entire thing at this point is this, for all the theater nerds, this is waiting for Godot at this point. This is not, this is that, that fantasy movie that is never coming, that that died somewhere. And if it is, we'll be. be too late. Will we care? Will we care? I mean, I think, look, the answer to that I think is, yes, we will, because. Blades always cool. Right. And the character's been gone for so long anyway.
Starting point is 00:12:06 It's just the fact that it's just, you're just tired of like, it's going to happen. It's not going to happen. This director's here. That director's not there. The writer's not there. Don't announce so it's done. Not done, but like you can't, I think Marvel announcing a five-year plan publicly is not the movie anymore. Yeah. I mean, the one thing they have working in their favor, the fans that are closely tied to this are probably annoyed and frustrated. The general populace has no idea, no, do they care? No. So, like, that might be why they haven't pulled the plug.
Starting point is 00:12:33 As long as Mahershala is still on board, it's one of those situations where when they get it right, like, it'll do, it'll do well. Right. But how long do you want him for? I mean, because, like, you know, he's going to be, if this movie. I got to believe he's on a retainer. There's got to be something in that contract that if they, for them delaying as much as they are, he's still getting paid.
Starting point is 00:12:48 I'm sure, but how long do you want a 50-year-old guy to play to play Blaine? It's like because. And it's such a physical role. Yeah. Because you can have a, it's not like a role that can casually be done in your 60s. It's going to happen in 2026, if it happens, right? 2026.
Starting point is 00:13:03 Or a new cast and then it's whenever. Right. So, but that's, but I'm saying if they're going to do this version. Yeah. So he'll be 52 maybe when this comes out. Okay. So then let's say it does really well. They're like, hey, we want Blade for the next five, 10 years.
Starting point is 00:13:17 And he's like, I'm going to be 60 years old playing Blade? How old is he can do it? What? How old is Hugh Jackman? Hugh Jackman right now. is probably, well... I think Hugh Jackman now is in his... Yeah, but he's on his last...
Starting point is 00:13:27 And he's on his last run. No, no, no, I understand that that's what I'm trying to... Starting versus ending a legacy. Yeah, exactly. Hugh Jackman's 55. So that's the thing. You're telling me that Myershal has then got to do the chicken and rice diet for the next 10 years at 52.
Starting point is 00:13:40 Right. 52 to 62, bro, I'm trying to eat every steak that my little heart will allow. Right. And he's... And Hugh Jackman is, did it for one last run at 55. One last run at... Which what we know for a fact, he's what in Dead... Pull him Wolverine and then there's maybe an offshoot possibility.
Starting point is 00:13:55 Secret wars probably, yeah, sure, sure. Because he probably was, especially if Sean Levy wants up directing it or whatever one he wants. They'll let him keep his sleeves on then. Who cares? But that's what I mean like, dude'll be 57. Don't make him do this again. I already worry about it. Right.
Starting point is 00:14:09 But so Mahershal Ali is now, you know, if he's going to do it. And it's not going to probably be as intense as Wolverine, but still, it's like, he's like, look, guys, I'm, because when he signed on, he was 46 or whatever he was, 45. It was, was it four years ago? He was four years ago, right? So he's like, okay, so I'm down. All right, not getting any younger. This is happening.
Starting point is 00:14:30 And then probably if the frustration with the director is like, come on, we've gone through all these different things. What are we doing here? Let's get this thing done. I think it was five years ago. I think it was 2019. It was before the pandemic. So it was like 40, he was like 45.
Starting point is 00:14:41 So it's just a whole bunch of crap of bad luck. So it's a pandemic, it's a strike. It's announcing it too early. It's just something, one thing after the other. And that's the whole thing that's wild is they probably. probably came. We're doing this. This is where we're envisioning this going.
Starting point is 00:14:54 So it's about a 10-year sign on, but you've burnt five of those years already. Totally. This is what I think you do. If I'm Kevin Fier, I give this thing one more run. And, well, the rumor, Roka tweeted this thing out,
Starting point is 00:15:06 and I don't know how true it is or not, but he's kind of hinting at the idea that Jordan Peel could potentially take over. That'd be great. If you can get Jordan Peel to do a Blade movie, because he's already doing a vampire movie coming up, though. But if he's going to, isn't he? Oh, no, that's Ryan Cougar.
Starting point is 00:15:20 That's Ryan Cougler. Because Ryan Cougler's making Blake. That's Ryan Coole. Not all black directors. I knew you're going to say that. I knew you're going to say that. I did get one more before you go, bitch. But no, but you're right.
Starting point is 00:15:29 It's Ryan Cougar. But Jordan Peel is, him doing, Blade would do so much for it. He could work within that budget. He can make it really fun. He can make it dark. And, you know, you could trust him to make a pretty good movie. And you'll get a lot of eyes on it because you'll add a little bit more of it.
Starting point is 00:15:48 Oh, it's Jordan Peel. Do you understand. It's a Marvel movie and a Jordan Peel movie. Sorry. Do we still have a writer? Yeah, it seems like they still, like it's, who knows? I think so. Because if you bring in Jordan at that point, it's not to say that this is other writer.
Starting point is 00:16:01 I'm doing both. Just let him write it right directly. Let him do the whole thing. But if you get Jordan Peel to do it with Mahershali and you can get it done by the end of 2025 or 2025 or 226, then you go forward with his plan. If you can't, and it falls apart again, if I'm Kevin Feigey, I'm going to Mahershal Ali, I'm going to look, man. Here's the deal.
Starting point is 00:16:20 We watch you in Marvel. We don't want to keep stringing you along. Here's a role. We'll pay a shit ton of money to do it. This is what it is. It's not the blade, but it's something else. He'd be a fun, Mr. Sinister. Right.
Starting point is 00:16:33 You actually would be a pretty damn good. He's got that, like, quirky anger bubbling under the surface. Like, he, I could see Merchel like crush in that. And then you give, and then you do blade in like whenever you can. Right. And you cast a 20, 30 something. Right. Not 20 early, but late 20s, early 30s to play it for.
Starting point is 00:16:50 Actually, I don't even know if we're, like, because that seems like a deep cut, and you just explored this villain in X-Men 97, he would be a great bastion. Oh, it would be incredible. Because you let, I still, I'm still stuck on Ryan Gosling as sinister, but if you put him as Bastion in the sense of on top of that, with Bastion feeling, very fish out of water, feeling like, because he is sort of a mutant in the way that they portrayed him at least in 97 and feeling that hate, hate, but then the hate spurning on his hate for mutants and all that, there could be a really interesting tale about with Bastion then being a black man,
Starting point is 00:17:20 And if you have a similar type situation where he is kind of getting Ishawn, but then all of a sudden he himself again goes against his kind more or less. Like I think that would be a really interesting dynamic to do that if you're going to recast him as something. Especially if Charles and Magneto were black. Yeah, yeah. Because I do feel like that's like the more modernized. I don't know what they're going to do as far as the Holocaust being 80 years ago. If they have the Jewish element of Eric B. so essential.
Starting point is 00:17:44 Like I don't know how that's going to go. But it would be interesting to have those kind of overtones if they want to keep any of. though. Either way, if you can't get it done, you see if you can get it done within the next start over. And then you just start it. If there's another fall through, I'm looking at it going, maybe this thing is, Jenks, maybe we're not supposed to do this version of it. We obviously want to be in the Mahershal Ali business. The guys are tremendous actor. He's been playing ball with us for the last five years. Let's offer him something else. Also, you lost what, like Mia Gauth was a villain. There was a male villain. The script has clearly changed so much because we've had like three different
Starting point is 00:18:17 villains rotate through. I don't know. It's the ship of Thess. Like at what point all the parts change enough that it's a new thing? Just make it a new thing. Like is it not already? Like if we don't know what it ever was, so maybe it's time to just start over. Maybe so. And I, and you give it, like I said, it's got an expiration date at this point. What sucks is Mehercial is so perfect.
Starting point is 00:18:35 He's perfect. Like if you look at a picture of him with or without sunglasses in or out of a trench go, like every piece of him, I'm always like, man, that's played. But you also give him tons of props as well because he's been so patient. Yeah. And at what point, if I'm him going, I'm, guys, I'm done. And I would argue, I'm done. I would argue that Blade is like an Iron Man type character where Wesley Snipes is
Starting point is 00:18:59 Blade and it's so impossible to have found another one and they somehow did. I feel like that's why this has been five years of it. It's because it's Wesley Snipes is Blade and oh wait, we've got a new take that feels authentic but also is an incredible actor. How do, like whoever takes over for Wolverine or Iron Man are screwed, but if they find that exact one. And I feel like we've been waiting five years because they did find that exact one. Right. I know. And they probably feel the same way. Yeah. I think that's why we're so stuck on this. That's why they're holding on because they just think he's so good. Dude, I mean, I know you're a gym rat,
Starting point is 00:19:27 so you maybe feel a little different about this. But can you imagine you've been beyond the best shape of your life? You've been in superhero movie shape. Oh, dude. For five years. Yeah. Only for it to essentially be, hey, oh, we're real sorry about this. I think we're going to go a different direction because you're getting older by guy. But yeah, but if I'm him. I'm going, all right, you just paid me to work out for five years. And now I eat like I want.
Starting point is 00:19:50 Which is fair. And no one's actually losing. You, you essentially made millions to be put in the best shape. But Glenn Howardson's been in the shape for 10 years and he's been waiting for that call. Yeah. And he got to do a really silly dance scene with Julia Roberts. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:20:01 But I, but I guess, but I guess it's just, I guess it's just knowing that it's not just like you're in good shape. It's insane shape. Like that's the reason why I'm like, even with all that money. Within six months of Marvel shredded at all times.
Starting point is 00:20:16 five years. Yeah, so I mean, I don't know, man. I think, I think that like all of us are on the same page here. It's like you do what you can. You give it a shot. If you get Jordan Peel to do it, no brainer. But I think you're running out of time with the team that you've got right now. You give it one more shot. There's no chance this thing comes out at the end of 2025. If it does, good on them. But you've got to make sure you secured the team ready. Now, the one positive with that is that this apparently happened in March that this guy walked away. So Fikey might have already have a team and may be deep enough into negotiations
Starting point is 00:20:53 that you could still potentially get this thing out. D23 announcements, man. I think D23 is going to be huge for Marvel. I think they're going to announce, they know optics within the people that actually pay attention to D23. Like, we always talk about how insular, if you are actually invested is, but that's what D23 and ComicCon are for.
Starting point is 00:21:10 I feel like Comicon's going to be kind of light, and then D23 is going to be Marvel going, like, this is our plan. Don't announce stuff five years out, but really make the next three years firm. And I feel like Blade's going to be a big part of that. Still October this year? Yeah. Okay.
Starting point is 00:21:23 All right, guys, put your thoughts in there, man. I mean, I'm so curious to see where you guys are and how you feel about that. Do you, are you on the same page? Do you think that, no, no, no, you get Mahershaw Lee. If he's 65 years old, you put him in there and you do it, you just get it done. Or are you on the same page? Just like, yeah, let's try it until, you know, you got another year. year or so and then just go with a new team or push blade back until it's necessary because that's the other
Starting point is 00:21:50 question is how necessary is blade to the overall story right now can you push them back midnight suns man they just they just i don't do you hear about the writer getting attached midnight sons i think so why are we attaching writers to midnight sons you haven't done blade so that's the issue right like if midnight sun's off it's got a rotating team but blade's usually pretty integral so i don't think you introduce blade in a team movie first you need that you know what i mean like Like you need the, yeah. So Midnight Sun's got the writer of Logan Blade Runner 249. Like good writer.
Starting point is 00:22:22 Yeah. That makes me think they do have the Blade team more assembled. And that's why I think they're going to announce it a D23. I think it's a one-two punch between Blade and Midnight Suns. Dude, I honestly think that the Midnight Suns they probably had set up would be Dr. Strange, the Black Knight and Blade and then maybe somebody else that we're not thinking about. So you cannot.
Starting point is 00:22:38 I think Man Thing Ghost Rider. Probably and those would be the other two if you're going that route. But to that point you have to have Blade. This isn't a thing until that happens. So like I let alone maybe even werewolf by night. Yeah, yeah. I find a way to incorporate that too. I just.
Starting point is 00:22:51 But that's the one two punch, I think they might announce. And that's the only way to get our confidence back. This is the next thing. Now, the boys just came out, and here is
Starting point is 00:26:48 the news. All right, so the boys season four, it is out, and they dump the whole thing, huh? Three episodes. They dumped three episodes? Oh, okay, good. Oh, great. Okay, good. That's great. I love that. The review embargo has now lifted for season four of the boys, and it's now been certified fresh on Rotten tomatoes, but it has a series low score. The boys return for its four season with a three-episode premiere, and the critics have been sharing their reviews so far. The First waves were mixed positive with 43 verdicts total. It might be bigger now. When you guys look that up, you don't mind?
Starting point is 00:27:20 And now added to Rotten Tomatoes, season four has been fresh. Currently, this listing is at 84%. 86. It's 86 now. Okay. So one of the critical consensus is boxing in the political area with a bloody smile. The Boys' Four season is grim and even a little glum with holding up a crack mirror towards modern society.
Starting point is 00:27:41 Very respectable. score, but it is a series low. Season 1 is 85. Two is at 97 and 3 is at 98. So there's a bunch of different reactions there too. Let's just start with the guys here because like I said, I haven't had a chance. I will catch up to episodes 1, 2, and 3. You guys have, Winston has seen one episode.
Starting point is 00:28:03 I got three. I'm up to date. Okay. So, Coy, let's start with you then. So thoughts on the first three episodes? I do think it is as dark as is because I'm, I think the show has always reflected the current world, and I do think the two years that have passed are darker. I also think it's an election year, so it's leaning more aggressively political in a way that had been under a few more layers of metaphor that aren't, like, they've uncovered it.
Starting point is 00:28:31 Like, it's very clear what it is now. Yeah. And I feel like that's part of the lower score is, is, you know, we talk about hitting every demo and 86%, 14%, you know, might not like some of the, you know, might not like some of the lower score. is, you know, we talk about hitting every demo, and 86%, 14%, you know, might not like some of those ideologies or more. And I do think it's probably the most angry season. Like, it definitely feels... State Mini?
Starting point is 00:28:51 It feels not only state-many, and also like, hey, audience, please start paying attention. And that sometimes feels like, you know, a lot. Yeah, so it's a pretty aggressive opening. Okay. Winston, do you feel the same on episode one? Just off of just off of one episode, no per se, but I see the setup of going to that place. I mean, you, you know, coming off of season three, you had lines drawn on the sand with fans within the universe where you have the people that are Team Homelander and the people that are called the Starlighters or that are Team Starlight. And it literally feels like a metaphor for like a younger. midwestern version of like Hillary versus like Trump in Homelander and the
Starting point is 00:29:37 battle lines that have essentially been drawn politically which again this to me never felt preachy from the show because again it's a reflection of where we're at and this has never been hidden but I can see based upon some of the things that happened in that first episode if it's going to keep ratcheting that up and knowing there is a mastermind actually pushing it forward I can see that it could definitely go to that space but I enjoyed just the first episode of like getting back into it a number of like fun surprises and a number of just like just the nastiness whether it be violence or sex or whatever that's happening there it's already
Starting point is 00:30:12 there there's there's one moment in the vaught tower that i'm like bro what that almost happens i'm like wait what what whoa whoa whoa whoa but it's great narratively too what i what i like is those moments there are times in the comics and times in the show where it feels like there's a moment just to be like it'll get, you know, clipped into the next episode or like TikTok will talk about it. This, I think so far is some of the best use of like, oh my God, moments, but it pushes the narrative. That scene, I thought really did a great job of showing how Homelander is permanently in control. And in a way that also makes you go like, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, I didn't think of that dynamic. But also realizing as he has been this entire time for the irony behind a homelander to me is that we talk about with Superman
Starting point is 00:31:00 Again, it's about like, you know, he has all the power in the world. It's not what can you do, what should you do. Right. So here's a situation where Homelander has equivalent enough power to Superman. And there's a really interesting line when he's talking to one of the characters. Like, you got everything you want and you're not happy. Yeah. And that's the whole thing.
Starting point is 00:31:18 He has literally all of the power, both his physical power and now the power of Vod. And he is miserable. They go so much deeper into that. And that's kind of what the season's about. And I love that. And there's also, I mean, there's a great moment in episode three. you're talking about Superman. Now that Jack is Superman animated,
Starting point is 00:31:34 there's a Homelander in Jack scene, which is really funny because it's Homeland or Fighting Superman, like we've always talked about. But it's a, I think an escalation that is natural, but I also think that natural escalation, inevitably you're going to alienate people as you grow in a direction.
Starting point is 00:31:51 And I personally happen to have animosity in all directions as we go into an election year. So it's really interesting to watch something that is very laser focused, pun intended, heat vision focused at one side. Yeah, I mean, I looked for, when, when, what time did it debut? Midnight, last night. Yeah, yeah, just happened. Right, because I can only get one review done.
Starting point is 00:32:13 Totally. So I mean, because I, last night is like, oh, you know what I'll do? Because I want to talk about it with the guys. I'm going to watch, I'll watch episode one. And I looked for it and it wasn't on. And I'm like, there's no way I'm staying up to watch this. I mean, like, I think that the midnight release is ridiculous. It's such an archaic model.
Starting point is 00:32:29 It's so stupid. I don't know if it's for ratings. I don't know. No, it's even check it anymore. I think it's for, it's for, to not crash the servers.
Starting point is 00:32:37 It was what somebody told me. They put it out at that time. And there's also for, I think they're also probably paying attention to international viewers to, which is, which is totally fair. But I'm not, I'm not,
Starting point is 00:32:47 if you're going towards the, to not crash the servers. So you're telling me that we're between, between AI, crypto, Amazon, Google, Apple. We have,
Starting point is 00:32:56 we've essentially killed the planet to have all these storage facilities and you can't figure out how to make your servers work. Also, there's the issue. I think the spoiler issue is a bigger issue. If you don't watch it when it airs, the internet went from like, we'll give it a week to give it a day to like, I hope you're watching it live. Like the internet is, is. Which is why I still stand by.
Starting point is 00:33:16 We should go back to live. But it really makes me realize how proud of myself I am. I have not, like, because I don't get spoilers anymore because I don't pay attention to Twitter anymore. I just don't pay attention to it. I need to delete Twitter. Yeah, it's just so it's. I've got so many accounts.
Starting point is 00:33:29 It's muted. I don't really get up. Yeah, I just, I post stuff and then I just run away. And I take, and I take like, yeah, I just do it. It's like, okay, here's our latest episode of this. I'll retweet something that, you know, that I know it's coming in for me that I, like, we're doing that live event with Dan Merle. So I'll do that thing. And it's just. It has uses.
Starting point is 00:33:46 Just not. Yeah. What was the final, what was the final vote on the poll? It was like, I think you wind up winning by like 8% or something. Okay. Yeah, it was a bad boys. I agree. I'm a bad boys too.
Starting point is 00:33:57 I think I need to see two again. I just remember, like, it just, I think Michael Bay is the worst. And that's the most Bay movie. The easiest way to look at it, man, is bad boys won is the epitome of just like a 90s action comedy. Yeah. Which, to be honest with you, the comedy turned down just a little because even though Martin and Will are peak in their shows and they're starting to do these big budget. Is there more action the second one? There's way more action.
Starting point is 00:34:22 But there's also more comedy because at that point, they are fully matured into themselves. Their relationship is better. And so that's all. It might have been an unfair assessment. I don't know. I just, I remember back in the day, just not really caring about it. And I think it's because I was so surprised to how much I enjoyed three because I remember just think great. Because I remember.
Starting point is 00:34:41 Did you see four yet? Yeah. Loved it. Great. Okay. Good. Good. Like,
Starting point is 00:34:45 one deck. Yeah. It's one of those. I think that one's going to grow on me. I think. Yeah, I think four. I think you guys should go and watch my, my, uh, ranking, the franchise. I actually did a full ranking of the four movies.
Starting point is 00:34:56 Took him two days to edit. Took four every. But it was totally worth it. Good. See, I pay attention on Twitter. It's dangerous. Well, so when it comes to the boys, I ask you guys when you're watching here, what are you thinking so far? You like it?
Starting point is 00:35:11 Not like it. Is it perfect? Is it too political? What say you? Put your comments in there. Let's talk about it. Let's switch to DC, man, because there's some DC news, and we can start with this. Creature Commandos announces the premiere date, guys, characters will reportedly appear in Superman.
Starting point is 00:35:28 more characters in Superman. Some exciting DC news here. Warner Brothers announced a premiere date for Creature Commandos, and we're also hearing that some of the characters are going to appear in Superman. So Mark Cassidy riots, after months of speculation, WB finally revealed when James Gunn's adult animated series Creature Commandoes is set to premiere on the Mac streaming service today
Starting point is 00:35:48 during a film festival panel. Though we don't have an exact date, it was confirmed that the show will hit in December. So Creature Commandos will be the first. first project to be released under the DCU banner ahead of Gun Superman next year, and the studio reportedly confirmed that the characters from the show will appear in the live action Man of Steel reboot. When members of the makeshift monster squad make the jump to the big screen remains to be seen, but we know that Captain America, the winter soldier actor Frank Grillo, will appear as Rick Flagg
Starting point is 00:36:21 Senior in Peacemaker's Season 2. So he might be a pretty safe bet. The series is also going to feature Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 3, Maria Vaclova as Princess Salonna Rostovic, and Indira Varma as the bride with Zoe Schaus on board as Nia Masarski, Alan Tudic as Dr. Was it Phosphorus? Yep, Phosphorus. David Harbour as Eric Frankenstein, Sean Gunn is G.I. Robot and Steve Agee, reprising his Peasmaker role as John Agamas. Now, Sean Gunn will also voice the Suicide Squad's Weasel, though we're not sure if he can actually speak in anything close to full sentences and viola davis is expected to return as amanda waller um okay so when we get this show this is going to be a james gun special obviously
Starting point is 00:37:07 it's going to be an adult oriented kind of crazy you know another i don't know if it's going to be peacemaker-esque you guys know this property better than i do but no you don't okay so um it's a deep deep cut yeah i was good i was like i did like baby research when they announced it but i was like What the... Yeah, it's a James... It's not even like a comic deep cut. It's like trauma level deep cut of a deep cut comic.
Starting point is 00:37:31 It's really obscure. It's real weird. But it's very James Gunn. I think it's a bold swing to establish a tone of a universe by making something it's so specifically you. I think it makes sense to do it animated because I don't think you get the budget
Starting point is 00:37:42 for how much. It's almost like Guillermo del Toro-esque in its character choices. So animated's gonna work better. Does it make sense to put these characters in Superman? I don't think a lot of the characters will be in it. I think two or... three to establish that it's a shared universe.
Starting point is 00:37:56 I think it's going to be... Nothing important. Frank Grillo's going to be the most important anchor. Because he's Rick Flagg Sr., who is the dad of Rick Flagg Jr. from the Suicide Squad, Joel Keniman. So it makes sense that, well, if Peace Pinker killed my son, of course I'll be back. And if Rick Flagg Sr. is in this Corpse Commando show animated, that's a through line that is not just like, let's cast someone.
Starting point is 00:38:18 It's a narrative that makes sense. So is this another one of those DC Marvel ripping each other off in a slightly different way? So instead of the Howling Commandos with like Nick Fury. It's like that but more supernatural. It's like the Howling Commandos were werewolves, which they are in some kind. It's essentially the Howling Commandos like spliced with the Midnight Suns. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:38:35 So imagine Midnight Suns as a team, but it's a little bit more altruistic, but they're all weird personalities and they're all monsters. Scooby-Doo. Yeah, it's very, it's definitely Scooby-Doo vibes. It was teamed up with Dracula and Frankinside's monster and all that. And that's why they animated,
Starting point is 00:38:51 it's a fun take. And then no one that is, outside of our space is going to be like, you know, as invested leading up to Superman, but it does give them, it's kind of like a, like a warm-up lap. You know what I mean? It gives them a run to speed. Yeah, it's fun to establish the university. I mean, you're getting it in December and then, what, five months later?
Starting point is 00:39:09 Yeah. You get the movie itself. And you're exactly right that if you don't watch the animated, you don't get any, you're not lost. But Frank Grillo, tying them together is enough. You get like a little present. And I think Alan Tudic might be the other one. I think I could, because, you know, you cast Tudic, you usually, you know, use them around and things.
Starting point is 00:39:23 It'd be interesting. But for me, it's more so of let's not overcrowed Superman. It's maybe if there's a scene where you're like, oh, well, look, that's a scene that called for tons of people to be able to be there, but it doesn't take away from it. I think James Gunn has earned the trust of like, okay, he knows he's going to introduce a lot of these things, it's going to put it. It's not going to overtake what the overall story is about. I was concerned, you know, when you say like, okay, Greenlander, it's going to be in it,
Starting point is 00:39:49 this, that, as long as they're not like taking focus away. from establishing a new Superman. You have to. You have to. All right. Do you guys care about creepy commandos or creature commandos? Do you care about them at all? Creepy commands.
Starting point is 00:40:05 What do you think? Do you think this is going to work? Do you think that it's going to be funny? Are you excited about it? Do you want to learn a little bit about it? Tell us. Let's stick with D.C. Check this one out.
Starting point is 00:40:14 This is sticking with James Gunn. And we just talked about Peacemaker. Well, got some casting news. Season two adds Tim Meadows. and also we've got the director, Superbad director, joins the DC series. A Peacemaker Season 2 cast has once again expanded this time, Tim Meadows. Second and third episodes have also tapped the director of the cult classic Superbet. DC Studios boss James Gunn has confirmed that Tim Meadows is in the cast.
Starting point is 00:40:41 The actor is set to play Langston Flurry, a newly created character for the DCU, who is an Argus agent. It's also been confirmed that's Super Bad and confess Fletch director, Greg Motola has boarded the show to direct the second and third episode of season two. We know Gunn will helm the premiere. He's done so during production of Superman, but the rest of the directing team has yet to be revealed. So they welcomed Tim Meadows to it via Instagram. Ever since seeing daytrippers back in the 90s at Film Forum in New York,
Starting point is 00:41:10 I've been a huge Greg Matola fan through Superbad and much more, which we needed a director for episodes two and three of season two of Peacemaker. So Peacemaker follows the explosive esk, of the character that John Cena reprises in the aftermath of the suicide squad, yada, yada, yada. Okay, so what do we think about the, I can see him playing an agent and hitting the comedic tones, obviously, that James Gunn's going to set up. I'm still, this is, I'm so torn with this because I'm, just like I said, I want to see how they're going to pull it off, but I loved Peacemaker.
Starting point is 00:41:48 And I had seen Peacemaker before I'd ever watched an episode of the boys. So to me, before I'd seen the boys, I was like, oh, this is a... When is it supposed to drop? Peacemaker, I'm not sure yet. I'm not sure. Not this year. I don't think so. I think it's next year.
Starting point is 00:42:02 Because I was going to say, if it drops this year, like, if they're shooting it now and it's like coming out in the fall or like late winter, it still makes sense because technically, because they've said it sounds like it's just this second season. This is him just wrapping up his thing and then it doesn't directly affect. But I think they're... But I think they think they say, said, that's what I'm saying, though, is I, if it was like an elseworlds thing, it's great, but I think that they said they're part of the DCU now.
Starting point is 00:42:25 I don't know how they're going to explain that. And that's my concern with them. Like, I just don't understand how they're going to explain that. Wormhole. I'm so tired of one of the helmets maybe goes interdimensional. I don't know. Got a lot of helmets. Yeah, but what, but what?
Starting point is 00:42:37 Waller tries to choke him out and she's got her hand, it's gripped around his throat, and then the helmet goes off. They both get transported to this new universe. Yeah. Like, great, a whole new Superman I got to deal with. What do you think about, A, the casting, B, where they're going to go with that? I think the casting's great. I think he's so funny.
Starting point is 00:42:51 He's an actor that you see pop up and stuff. You're like, oh, good. This is better for it. Greg Matola, I think, is a really good director. Fletch should have gotten a theatrical release. It should have been bigger. Is it a one with Sean Ham? Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:43:01 I think Fletch is such a fun franchise, and they fought to get that made for so long. And then, you know, I still think Jason Lee should have played him because Jason Lee is Chach. And he is Fletch. Should have Fletch won. W.O.N. Yep.
Starting point is 00:43:12 And I wanted that so bad. And Kevin Smith wanted to make it. Like Kevin Smith doing Fletcher with Jason Lee is one of the great loss. Anyway, but I think Peacemaker will have a logical reason. But at the same time, I don't think of, I know there's a scene with Aquaman Boning Fish, but I don't think of that show as being DCEU. I know it canonically is, but other than that one scene, it didn't feel like the DCEU, it didn't feel like it put itself in that world.
Starting point is 00:43:37 The Suicide Squad doesn't even feel like DCEU. So other than Harley Quinn, That was better. Yeah, it was. Yeah. And Peacemaker. Other than Harley Quinn tying to the original suicide squad and Joel Keneman, but again,
Starting point is 00:43:52 it felt very different and better. And other than Peacemaker tying to Suicide Squad, none of those pieces feel like my attachment to the DCEU. So I have no problem if Peacemaker is the thing that's like, well, we wanted to keep this toy. Because that, to me, felt separate anyway. And if they've got some silly reason for him to be in the new universe,
Starting point is 00:44:10 I don't think it's going to bother me, because I don't go, oh, no, we lost peacemaker in this thing. We lost that specific universe that doesn't feel like. I don't think the mainstream Monty's. They're not going to care or no at all. What do you think, listen?
Starting point is 00:44:22 I mean, this was one of my favorite shows that was 2023, right, that it came out of last year? No, it's 22. It was two. It's been that long time. But it was one of my favorite shows of that year, though. So I'm not going to say no to more of it. I just, I think that it is definitely,
Starting point is 00:44:41 definitely a move and it definitely sends a signal of I'm going to still do my thing, you know, even though I'm resetting everything. But the only people are the chronically internet people. No, no, no, I understand that. But, but one, it was a hit. So I'm sure HBO and Warner Brothers was not upset about that. And two, you're the boss. So you technically do whatever you want.
Starting point is 00:45:00 Who cares what they feel about it? It'll actually be almost three years when it comes out because there's January 13th, 2022 is when it debuted. Wow. It was almost three years ago. My God. In six months, we're five years out from 20. It's a 20.
Starting point is 00:45:12 Shut up. Yeah. It's nuts. Five years, half a decade since 2020? It's insane. Anyway, so that is the casting. Does the DC, does the fact that Peacemaker's Season 2 is going to be part of the DC? We think, does that bother you?
Starting point is 00:45:27 Do you not care? Go ahead, put your comments in to tell us. And then I think finally, sticking with DC, and I had never heard of Booster Gold before the announcement. And then Coy and Winston talk about the character all of the time. so I'm curious to hear what they think about this news. Series is rumored to have enlisted a righteous writing team. The planned Max Booster Gold series is rumored to have enlisted the creative team behind the righteous gemstones to work on the project.
Starting point is 00:45:54 Amid persistent rumors that the Booster Gold Max series is in the process of assembling its creative team, we're now hearing that the project has enlisted a tree of righteous writers to work on the script. According to Nexus Point News, James Gunn, Peter Saffron have tapped Danny McBride, John Carcerary and Jeff Fradley, the creative team behind the HBO Max original series of Righteous Gemstones to work on the show. If accurate, this might lend some credence to a previous rumor that the team's frequent collaborator, Jody Hill, was hired as a director showrunner. Gunn recently shot down a report that production was set to commence in July, but he did reveal the most of the DCU-based shows currently in the pipeline have set their creative terms.
Starting point is 00:46:33 Back in 2022, Gunn asked his social media followers which character that has yet to appear in the DCU they'd most likely to see, and Booster won by some margin. Interestingly, Booster was the most requested character when I asked people on Mastodon, what character they'd most likely to see on screen. I'm not creating stories by public vote, but I found it fascinating, nevertheless. A Booster Gold feature from Greg Berlenty and Jack Stearns was in development before falling off the radar back in 2019. As for who fans would like to see play the time-traveling hero,
Starting point is 00:47:04 Chris Pratt seems to be a popular choice. The actor was asked about the possibility of suiting up as Booster in the DCU during a recent interview, and while he denied having any discussions, he said, if James thought I was right for it, then you know I'd have to consider it. Booster Gold and Skeets appeared in the Smallville episode of Booster, portrayed by Eric Marsloff and voiced by Ross Douglas.
Starting point is 00:47:22 Respectively, Scrubs alum, Donald Faison, also played another take on the character in the series finale of Legends of Tomorrow. Booster Gold is one of comics' popular cult heroes, Gunn said. He is a fascinating guy, and he's a loser from the future who uses future technology to come back to present day and become a superhero so that people will love them.
Starting point is 00:47:40 It's basically the superhero story of imposter syndrome on an HBO max series. When is this supposed to come out? Doesn't say. Okay, because I would argue, but though he may not want to just jump right into another superhero thing. I still say Anthony Starr is the perfect person to play Booster Golden. Personally, I think that just knowing Booster's personally. There was a rumor that he met with Gunn recently, and they started following each other on Instagram and everything. So maybe, but yeah, will it be too tied into Homeland or though?
Starting point is 00:48:07 I think he's got too much darkness behind his eyes. Buster Gold's dumb, but he's not dark. I like, I like Billy Magnuson. I love that call. I think Billy Magnuson is, Billy Magnuson, it could be like downy for Ironman. I'll show you. I'll bring up a picture. I'll bring up a picture.
Starting point is 00:48:20 I honestly, the look, the age, where he's at in his career, the physicality, every role he plays, I think like, man, this guy should be a specific type of superhero to this. This, I mean, to me, this is Buster Gold. Oh. He's in Roadhouse recently. He's in Game Night. He's incredible.
Starting point is 00:48:36 He's great in Game Night. I love him as the other prince Into the Woods, the great sing. Him and Chris Pine having a sing-off, and he's literally just the other prince. To me, this is like one of the great potential castings. I agree with you. I think that would be definitely good.
Starting point is 00:48:50 I don't know enough of his work to, like, like the look-wise, I'll give it to you. I don't know acting. I understand what you're saying about. It's hard to play dumb well. He's also an Aladdin, the remake. Yeah, and he played like a pretentious prince that, like, thought highly of himself.
Starting point is 00:49:07 Which one? The main other prince. He was going to get married to Jasmine before Aladdin. Got it. Yeah, yeah, yep, yep. Yeah. That's a great booster goal performance. You know, yeah.
Starting point is 00:49:18 You know another one that would actually be pretty good. But again, it depends on if he would even be interested because I know he's got other stuff going on. Oh, boy from Hamilton and Matrix, golf. Oh, yeah, that's fun. Jonathan Groff. Oh, he's the one who plays. Mine Hunter, too. He's so good.
Starting point is 00:49:34 He plays like King George, right? Yeah. He's George. and then he's Agent Smith in the new Matrix. He's so great. He would crush it. And they're very similar types. I do think, though, I mean, really good choice.
Starting point is 00:49:45 I think that Billy Madison is perfect. And I want, I want James Gunn. I hope James Gunn has thought about that. Me too. I've been tweeting. I've been trying. I've been like pushing it as hard as I came.
Starting point is 00:49:56 And honestly, it doesn't really work though. No, it doesn't. It's probably a good thing. I want creators to create how they want, not by fan choice. But Chris Pratt is the wrong choice, man. No, you know.
Starting point is 00:50:04 Absolutely. I love Chris Pratt. I think he's a really, I think he's, I think good on him and what he's done the way that he's made himself. The guy was like this comic sidekick and became leading man and now gets every role. And that's why I don't want him to have this one. It's not, it's not to say that he couldn't go back and do it again,
Starting point is 00:50:20 but Booster Gold in a lot of ways, feels like if Andy Dwyer, no, no, it feels like if Andy Dwyer became a superhero. Yeah. Like he didn't, he was like, yo, Mousstrat isn't taken off, but I found a time machine. I could go back and become a superhero. It kind of feels like what's, a version of Star Lord almost.
Starting point is 00:50:38 Yeah, that's what I mean. Yeah, that's what I mean. But to that point, I don't, that feels like a regression for him. Yeah, 100%. I also think that it's a really good opportunity for a character to make a star out of someone new. And that's what I think, like Billy Magnuson,
Starting point is 00:50:53 I love him. I know his name, but most people don't. But you're like, oh, that work, that works. Especially on TV. You want someone to, exactly. And then you can book him for a year like you need to. I'm with you. I also think it's a character, which you don't know of the character that well,
Starting point is 00:51:05 But as we enter this really interesting, like, TikTokers are everything to media. I think a character that saves people for clout is super topical. So the idea of, like, filming something so you're popular. And I think a character has to be likable. That's the reason the anti-star thing is like, he's doing unlikable things. And he's still the hero. So you need someone that's got that like-test, like-ability. You can test his range.
Starting point is 00:51:28 You can test his range if you wanted to either way. I mean, it wouldn't be a terrible choice. So I just had one more rogue one, but it just depends. Paul J-M-I. I was never going to live that down, am I? No. I was going to say the gay white male teacher in Abbott. I don't know the actor's name.
Starting point is 00:51:44 I don't know the show. Oh, Abbott is great. But he has like this kind of just nervous tick energy that a lot of times you get out of booster. Obviously he has that insane confidence. He's very full of himself. But there's also this like, yeah, that I think like he would also be interesting. I think the two that we mentioned before are better choices, but that's just another option. I could also see both playing Abilie and Groff playing off of Sholo well.
Starting point is 00:52:08 Blue Beetle and Booster Gold of Friends. Okay. Oh, yeah. I heard, that's right. Normally the cord one, though, right? Yeah, normally, but I don't know if they're going to do that. Well, let's say, guys. Which Jason Sudecas would crush.
Starting point is 00:52:17 We did it. We did our last show here today. In studio for capes and cows. This is the last, you'll see of this blue prison wall back here. We'll get a new prison wall in just a little bit. But it'll be changing up and evolving over in the New York studio. But we'll be doing more stuff with Winston & Coy. Little win, I guess it looks like from the way that we're set up. Look at that. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, yeah.

Starting point is 00:53:40 I'm doing a rewatch of those and talking about that leading up to Deadpool and eventually I will also rank that essentially that franchise, rank all 20 of those movies once that's all said and done. So come check all that stuff out. And when you ask Winston,
Starting point is 00:53:55 what if you said, what did Winston do? Which one did he rank number one? I would say. I wish I knew. I wish I knew If you watch the videos You would know
Starting point is 00:54:06 I haven't thought of I wish I knew In so long Man throwback What other stuff We had I wish I knew He needs some milk
Starting point is 00:54:13 That was a big one That was Sien Yeah The top gone guy We do a clip show Let's do a clip show Let's be serious Go ahead
Starting point is 00:54:23 And then you can find me I'm waiting for whatever There it is I was like What's the sound That's gonna be serious We'll see No we don't have it on this one
Starting point is 00:54:30 one. Oh, I wish I knew feels like ours. Like that to me feels like capes and cattels. You know what I mean? Like I want that to be our legacy live in studio is. I wish I knew. I am up at Coydandro on YouTube and I am doing every episode of The Acolyte. I am doing every single week I read 50 comics. You don't have to. And I give you my top nine comics that I think you might like and I break them down. I also preview that week's books and I'm reviewing all the major movies. So I'll be doing Inside Out this week along with the Ackleight season or episode three that just dropped so my YouTube like five videos a week I'm so tired so please follow up there um before we go I will say this there was an article that I missed um that it said there's three rumored names for booster gold did you oh I've not seen that all right so
Starting point is 00:55:13 all right so the three fan casting or credible source no this is what it says it says we why we take recommending excuse me why we strongly recommend taking the following with a pinch of salt film front claims they'll learn who the three front runners are so this is what they say so according to the site says that Dylan Playfair Finn Whitehead and Patrick Schwarzenegger are all screen testing for the role of Brewster. So Patrick Schwarzenegger was
Starting point is 00:55:36 Golden Boy in GenVie. Yes. Which is fitting. That actually is a great... Those are all three of those shows. I don't know these guys. I mean like you go to your unknown. I don't know the first kid looks like I mean that looks pretty... Yeah that's definitely a new Lucas Till type. Yeah so I don't know but anyway. It's so funny we've hit an age
Starting point is 00:55:56 I'm like, oh, this new generation of actors, I get one of three. Yeah, that's the, we're hitting that. Yeah, anyway, so we'll put that picture up, but put your comments in there if you think any of those are potential or is it going to be someone else we didn't talk about? Thanks for joining us here today. Really appreciate you for Winston, myself, and Koi. We'll see you on the flip side. Bye.
