And if you want to book some time in my schedule, go to mwfmotivation.com slash episode, I believe it's 121. And I will be able to, you'll be able to see my schedule, book some time. And that's about it. That's about all the announcements, the four announcements that I have. So if you guys haven't noticed the past couple episodes, I've been a little bit,
Starting point is 00:01:48 I guess you could say passion fueled. You might hear it in my voice that I've been more excited. And the reason why is more filled with passion, a little bit more direct. And the reason why is because I want you to make real lasting changes in your life. That's the reason why I started the group coaching was because I want you to make real lasting changes in your life. That's the reason why I started the group coaching was because I have the podcast and I wanted to make real lasting changes in people's lives. So that's why I have it. But even if you don't sign up for the group coaching, I want you to listen to this episode. I want you to listen to all of these episodes and go, you know what?
Starting point is 00:02:18 I'm not just going to listen. I'm actually going to get off my freaking tail and do something. And the reason why is because I know some people are listening and they're not doing what I say or they're not going out and they're actually working towards their dreams and they're not making the life of their dreams. And that's not what I want you to do. I want you to get off your tail and get whatever it is that you want out of this world, whatever that may be. And there's tons of opportunities for you to do anything that you want to, to be great. It's everywhere. There's tons of opportunities for you to do anything that you want to, to be great.
Starting point is 00:02:45 It's everywhere. There's tons of opportunities, but it's like the quote says, most people miss out on opportunities because they're dressed up in overalls and they're disguised as hard work. And most people don't go after the opportunities because they go, oh man, that would be, that would be a lot of work. And I want you to realize this. There is a heavyweight champion, the undisputed, undefeated heavyweight champion of the world, and that is hard work. Hard work wins every single time. The person who outworks you beats you. That's the freaking facts. That's the way that it goes. Hard work is the undisputed, undefeated heavyweight champion of the world.
Starting point is 00:03:20 Why does hard work win every single time? Because talent can only take you so far. We all know people who have been the number one draft pick in the NBA or the NFL and they've turned out to be flops. Because when you're drafted, you're drafted off of talent. And then out of nowhere, someone who wasn't even drafted comes out and wins the MVP or wins something and just becomes an amazing person, an amazing sports athlete. And the reason why is because they put the time into it. They put the hard freaking work because in the end, in the long run, the hard work always wins. Talent can only take you so far and lazy people, we all know, give up eventually. And the thing about it is that the lazy people will give up and they won't. Most people will give up and they won't
Starting point is 00:04:08 keep grinding long enough to reap the rewards of the fruits of their labor. They won't grind long enough. They won't work hard enough. They won't work long enough. They'll give up before they get to that point. Most people who fail and give up are so close to success that they have no idea. People who fail and give up are so close to success that they have no idea. And that's the thing. That's the best part about hard work. And the reason why it's so important to instill hard work into yourself is because I've personally had businesses where I know I'm getting into a super competitive market, but it didn't scare me because I know that the average person out there doesn't really work.
Starting point is 00:04:42 The average person out there, I cannot work. I'm okay. I knew I was okay working until my freaking eyes bled. And that's just the way that it is. And I haven't always been this way, but it's something that I've built up. And I took confidence in the fact that most people would give up ever before they find success. They give up. That's what people do. And if you're not one of those people and you can outlast them, you can definitely build a successful business, a successful life, a successful marriage, whatever it might be. Lots of people give up and don't put in work. And just so you know,
Starting point is 00:05:14 this is the exact same thing for a marriage. You could completely change out your work with marriage in this entire thing. So most people act nowadays like they're entitled to free time. If you're under the age of 30, I honestly don't think that you're entitled to free time. When you go out and party on the weekends, what are you celebrating? Are you popping bottles to success? What success is it? If you're not where you want to be, then why are you not working to get where you want to be? In fact, if you're not where you want to be, it doesn't matter what your age is.
Starting point is 00:05:44 I don't think that you're entitled to free time. I think that you should work your tail off to get to where you want to be and then you get the free time. And I understand some people are out there listening and saying, well, I don't want to work my life away and I don't want to work my ass off all the time. I'm okay where I am. Listen, if you're okay where you are, good for you. I am so jealous because I don't know if I'll ever feel that way my entire life. But there's a part of me that I know that's, there's a part of everybody
Starting point is 00:06:11 that's listening that's going, I'm not where I want to be. That's, I mean, that's why you're listening to this podcast most likely is because you're looking for more. But part of the reason, the way that I feel like I can work my tail off and work until one o'clock in the morning every single night or whatever time I fall asleep and then wake up early again is because I know my purpose in life. I've gone on the mission of finding out what my purpose is in life and I will work my ass off and spend all of my waking hours working towards that. I know that the reason why I was put on this earth is to have you guys realize your potential and make you actualize your potential and go out there and work for the life that you really want. I know that's
Starting point is 00:06:50 my mission in life and I'm okay with working my ass off, trying to make as many people as possible realize that by putting it into the podcast, by putting all of my waking, the rest of my waking hours into my businesses and then into my group coaching, into my one-on-one coaching, because that's my job. That's my purpose in life. And I'm okay working my ass off because I actually love working my ass off for something like that. And I put up a quote the other day, yesterday, actually, and it said, hard work wins every time. I put it on the Instagram and on the Facebook as well. And a couple hundred people liked it and commented on stuff, but there's always somebody who comments on my quotes and says,
Starting point is 00:07:26 yeah, that's true, but blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. And you can just fill it in with whatever you really want. Because they just always say, yeah, no, no, I agree. Hard work wins every time, but blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. And they just spew out excuses. I call those the butt people. They're the butts. That's what they are.
Starting point is 00:07:43 They're the people who count themselves out of the race before they even get there. They're the ones who give up before they even start. They're the one who give the excuses. So therefore they're never going to go anywhere because they never allow themselves to actually start. Those are the ones who won't even show up to the race. And I understand some of you guys have families that you want to spend time with, do it, spend time with your families. But then when your kids go to bed, you can work your ass off when they go to bed if it's something that you're really passionate about and you really want to provide the life of your children's dreams on top of the life of your dreams as well. And here's what I think. Personally, you might feel the same way, you might feel differently. I think that your kids seeing you, their parent, work for something
Starting point is 00:08:24 that you're passionate and that you believe in with all of your heart might be one of the best things for your kids to see and learn. Think about that. It might be one of the best things for them to see and learn. Would you rather them see their parents slave away at their job and come home and be tired and not have enough time for the kids and hate their day job? Or would you rather have them see the parent that goes and works for their dreams and they can see that and they go, you know what? I want to be like him or her when I grow up because they're working for their dreams. Which parent would you rather them see? See, the problem is not that most people don't want to work hard. Most people want to work
Starting point is 00:09:02 hard. The problem is that they don't have something that they love so much that they're willing to work hard for it. That's what it is. And for you, I don't know what it is. You're gonna have to find out what it is. You're gonna have to do some soul searching. You're gonna have to think about it.
Starting point is 00:09:17 Think about it long and hard. And people ask me if I think that hard work can be taught. I don't think that hard work can be taught. I don't think that hard work can be taught. I think it's just internal drive, but I think that anybody can work hard if they find something that they're actually truly passionate about and they believe in with all of their heart, and then they will be able to work hard. I think anybody can work hard, but I think that in order to work hard, you have to have something that you truly, truly believe in, and anybody can do it if they find what they're most
Starting point is 00:09:45 passionate about in this world. And so for you, if you're an employee, if you work for yourself, if you're a dreamer, whatever it is, more than anything else, if you have to completely stop listening to my podcast in order to work your ass off and get to your dreams, I'm okay with that. Because I want you to get to where you are. The extra downloads don't matter to me. I want you to become the best version of yourself. And if it takes working your ass off and not listening to my podcast anymore, so be it. I am a hundred percent down for that. I want you to find what you're passionate about. I want you to work your tail off to get there. And I want you to be able to retire early because of that. I want you to be able to spend more time with your kid because
Starting point is 00:10:23 of that. I want you to be able to spend, time with your kid because of that. I want you to be able to send your kids to college because of the fact that you worked your ass off at night when they fell asleep when they were in their five, six, seven, eight, nine, 10 years old. That's what I want for you. But you have to realize no matter where you're trying to go, you have to work hard. And people say, oh yeah, but I'm just lazy. That's bullshit. Sorry, guys. That's complete BS. You're not just lazy. You just have excuses. And your excuses are bigger than your why. And when your why becomes bigger than your excuses, you will never be lazy again. So with that, once again, if you want to be part of group coaching or wants a little bit more information, send me an email, rob at MWF motivation, because I'm putting almost all of my waking hours
