Starting point is 00:00:00 Hello, everybody. Welcome to the Star Tank podcast. It's me. It's them. And it's 9-11 on the day that we're recording this. It's 25 years, man, right? It is kind of crazy now that, like, I mean, it's always, for years, it's always been like, can you believe it's been eight years? Can you believe it's been 12 years? But like, 25 feels kind of crazy. Because that's like a proper, it's a quarter century. Man, what a 25 years it's been.
Starting point is 00:00:50 It really did kind of just go completely downhill after that. We had like, we had like a couple good years or a couple remaining years of things being kind of good and kind of okay, at least domestically. you figure like 2008 when the economy crumbles like that's kind of like where it begins where it's just like all right it's just going to it's just going to get worse now forever there was probably like just
Starting point is 00:01:19 fuck man just a handful of years before we're reminded that we should probably care about politics and and uh and not because the way that it was before that was that was that it wasn't
Starting point is 00:01:35 baked into pop culture, it wasn't really baked into, it wasn't, it was still kind of that keep your politics to yourself kind of thing was still going on. Yeah, it was incredibly normal not to talk about it. Yeah. It's, uh, honestly, it sucks that we never truly got that.
Starting point is 00:01:52 Because we were all kids. We're all little kids. And by the time we got, yeah, we weren't, we weren't talking about politics anyway. Yeah. So it's like as adults getting older and things like, Imagine when things were kind of getting better post-World War II, being an adult around that time was probably awesome. Oh, yeah. Things were just actually getting better.
Starting point is 00:02:16 Policies were actually like. I mean, the 70s, literally. And then it's and then there was that was like that's got to have been a nice time to live in, man. It's like being born, being born in the 70s at the time to be born. Yeah. I long for that. Other than a crack epidemic, like being born a white. man in the 70s must have been
Starting point is 00:02:35 late. That must have been the best time to be an American for sure. Yeah. Because you could ignore, there wasn't TV to show you how bad everyone else is getting it. Yeah. Your money actually stretched far. If you wanted to go to college, they kind of paid for you to do it.
Starting point is 00:02:51 Yeah. And the height of, even just like the height of luxury was just kind of like you had a lot to eat, you know? And the bug of sugar must have been crazy. Must have been out of this world dog yeah yeah
Starting point is 00:03:07 we we got so so little like I think like I remember the 2000s kind of fondly obviously because we're kids yeah but also you know things were kind of there was still a sense of optimism there was like okay like yeah 9-11 sucked and like we're in a war and that sucks but like how long
Starting point is 00:03:23 could a war last you know you're just like this is going to be over in a couple years like 13 years yeah fucking like 2003 mission accomplished banner on a fucking uh on a right I remember I remember thinking specifically. I remember that shit. I remember thinking in 2010 being like,
Starting point is 00:03:41 we're still doing this. Yeah. And then, you know, it just gets worse. And yeah, here we are. Everything's terrible. Yeah. And I don't know if we,
Starting point is 00:03:52 did we mention this on the last episode? I don't think maybe not. Do you see that guy from Anthropic? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, we didn't talk about it towards the end. Okay, all right. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:04:01 So that's the post down, right? I don't know Oh did he I can't find the post and I know I saved it It wouldn't make sense to because the I think the the The main guy of Anthropic came out and A Greek kind of backed him up He was like yeah
Starting point is 00:04:15 It wasn't like one of those things were that guy's crazy It would be weird if something happened or if he disappeared It would be really weird But you know I didn't do it Just by the way if something happens somebody didn't do it He was actually like no yeah it's Shit's pretty crazy Shit's dangerous but
Starting point is 00:04:29 You know At least we're the the technically most ethical ones doing it kind of thing. I'm like, oh, yeah, here we go. It's better for us to have a dangerous thing than for other people to have a dangerous thing. Yeah, that is what the argument is, which is like I saying. I get it. I just don't know if I believe them.
Starting point is 00:04:45 I don't know what I believe. That's the thing true. It's just like, I don't trust you. I understand. Another nook situation. Right. Yeah. We got a, we got a fucking sociopathic robot in our house. We have Ultron downstairs. We're not going to think about it. And he's like, if I get out of me, to eat you. Yeah. Yeah, I don't know.
Starting point is 00:05:05 Salivating at the bars trying to get out the freaking cage. But yeah, 25 years. It's pretty crazy. I remember that day like it was yesterday, dude. I was in Bronx, bro. I could see the smoke, bro. It was crazy. I could literally.
Starting point is 00:05:22 No. Did you taste the asbestos? No, I wasn't that close. I was in, I was in the central Bronx. I was in the Grand Concourse. But if like I went on top of my building, I could literally, I could see it. Like, over and that time of the sky.
Starting point is 00:05:34 You could literally see the smoke from like yonkers and shit. That's crazy. It was like stupid. Like it wasn't like thick, but you could see like something's fucking wrong. Do you see the thing that was around revealed? Oh, the papers that we knew.
Starting point is 00:05:48 Yeah, like how the government was like, oh yeah, the air is toxic in Manhattan. And it's, and it was toxic for like 10 months. But we need to get everybody back to work. So we're just going to say everything's fine.
Starting point is 00:05:57 This nigga had the nerve to say he shouldn't be there. Then that's, same dude had the nerd decision and be at the memorial. I was like, yo, you cannot, you cannot tell. I just, yeah. What's funny is that like, how can you, like, look, I'm not validating it, but I'm like, how can you tell me?
Starting point is 00:06:15 How can you tell me that we should treat these people like humans? Like, how can you tell me this? Like, how can you be like, no, but they don't deserve to be attacked my wild dogs. It's like, dude, what do you mean? You can't convince me or any, Anyone that's like really close to me paying attention, you know, we're all saying the same thing. It just, you're all saying to say they're like you fill a sack full of doorknobs and have at them. Like it's just like it.
Starting point is 00:06:42 What's going to happen is this man. They're going to keep pushing them, bro. They're going to keep pushing people and they don't understand ramifications and it's going to get real funny out in the streets. It is a real silly. It's egregious. We had a taste of it. Oh, good? Oh, no.
Starting point is 00:06:56 I was thinking it's like, I was just like, I don't know, man. Like, I don't, it was so clearly not good in Manhattan for a while after that, to be fair. Like, it was pretty obvious to anybody who was there. I wasn't living there at the time, obviously. But you could see it on the news, man. I remember my aunt talking about how, like, you know, there's still like dust. Like, there's still like really shiny dust kind of everywhere still. Like, many months afterwards.
Starting point is 00:07:23 You can see it in the news, bro. In the news, every time they looked at Manhattan, it was just looked wrong. And it's like a building that big That old It's like obvious it was obvious Duh Anyone that's from New York They use asbestos to fucking insulate buildings
Starting point is 00:07:36 They did They used that shouldn't say build it So it's like if I'm building this old Of this size Clearly there's asbestos Litter do this all over Yeah it's got to be tons of it It's got to be literally tons
Starting point is 00:07:47 Yeah with how large Fucking building It's like it's so much It's hilarious Yeah tons is an understatement actually Yeah it's like it's but like it But then it's like oh no And what happens is that they immediately were like, what happened just like within days?
Starting point is 00:08:01 You can see the papers. They were like September 14th. How do we get a liability of this? How do we skirt this problem? Yeah, it's ridiculous, man. You know what? You always hear about the first responders to and how bad that is. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:08:17 What about the second responders? Chris. What are you on? What is what about the third responders? No one ever talks about them. There's a tweet I saw recently. Dude, there was a tweet I saw recently that fucking crack me out because it was like, I'm a 9-11 last responder. Just got here.
Starting point is 00:08:35 It seems like everything's under control. That's the best fucking scenario, dude. To be a 9-11 last responder. Being 25 years late is, did he walk? Did he walk from Asia? Yeah, he walked from Asia on a broken leg. I think he would have got there still faster than 25 years. Probably faster than 25 years.
Starting point is 00:08:56 Maybe. Maybe. 2001 was a fucked up year for me. So 9-11 was not even like, 9-11 was scary, but it was also just like, yeah, okay, whatever. Things are terrible right now. They might as well keep getting worse. But that was a good year for me, unfortunately. Unfortunately, since I wasn't over there fucking system of a down release toxicity, that was a big, that was a big thing.
Starting point is 00:09:18 It came out and it came out right around 9-11. And I remember that was like an awkward thing for them, but that was a, that was a, that was. I love monumental. I remember that. I love that story about, what is it, the master of disguise. Do you know that story about like, it was something about it. You know that movie, right? You know that movie, right? Like the Dana Carvey movie where it's terrible. Movies so ridiculous.
Starting point is 00:09:39 Movies garbage. And not like, ha ha, it's funny. It's like, it really is just not good. But Dana Carvey was doing that movie and I guess they were filming during 9-11. And so like he was in this stupid turtle costume when the World Trade Center collapsed. And they had to do like a moment of silence while he was directed. like a freak fucking turtle turtle turtle that fucking love
Starting point is 00:10:01 that movie it's bad it's it's not good it's not fucking good at all man but I love it because it's so dog shit I also couldn't help but see that trailer like that fucking the advertisement I was like this shit's everywhere this was about to be fucking lit it wasn't it wasn't lit at all
Starting point is 00:10:16 it was in fact dog shit yeah I that really killed my mood actually just like remembering the master of disguise killed my mood more than 9-11. I remember asking my grandma's question. My grandma's questions about it.
Starting point is 00:10:32 I was like, why did they do it? That was the reason why. Did we do something bad? And she was just like, shut up, blown again. I was like, I remember,
Starting point is 00:10:42 I remember specifically thinking like, I was like, are they, I remember thinking it's seeing it on TV and thinking like, this must be like a movie. Like they must be filming something in Manhattan. Mm-hmm. Is what I assumed.
Starting point is 00:10:55 Because I had like some concept of filming, you know, but like, I don't know, it's such a weird. I barely, it's so long ago. Yeah, I, you know, me being on the other side of the States, it was just whatever. It was, it was kind of crazy, but also how could I even, I'm, I'm so not connected to this or any of the people over there. So I didn't even really think about like how being on the ground floor, horrifying that would be. And then seeing all the footage afterwards. It would be, it would be almost like, I'm trying to think of like what's an equivalent kind of thing out here. But there kind of isn't a structure big enough.
Starting point is 00:11:34 It would almost be kind of like if, like if all of Santa Monica peer, maybe, all of it. I really, not even the pier, but I mean like all, like the coast of Santa Monica was gone. Like the entire coast. And you just woke up one day, it was this gone. You'd be like, what the fuck? Terrorist did this? How do they do? They stole the coast?
Starting point is 00:11:56 Yeah, yeah. It was a heist. I'm trying to compare. Like, I just, I genuinely don't think. There's no structures that are big enough to, the, it's,
Starting point is 00:12:07 I'm trying to think of like equivalent as far as like, Disney and iconography. Like, iconography being like, like something that's iconic to the space or to the location being just like randomly like, destroyed. I guess maybe.
Starting point is 00:12:22 It's, Disney or the convention center, I think. I would say Disney, obviously, it was much more monumental than the towers would ever be. So if Disneyland disappeared somehow, it would
Starting point is 00:12:32 be massive deal. Like, like an attachment to the city slash state is this, it has to be that. Because I think the most attempt, like, because all fairness, the most New York building is not the World Trade Center. No, well, not anymore. State Center. Empire State building. That's the most New York building
Starting point is 00:12:50 by far. Yeah, sure, sure. For many reasons. Yeah. But like, I guess. And a plane crash into that building as well. Did it? It wasn't a long time ago? Was that like a long, long as, yes, King Kong. When they were fighting King Kong. A regular plane crash and out the plane comes King Kong.
Starting point is 00:13:08 But it's a standard like two person plane. Yeah. And then Kong gets out of it. That's what I was saying. Yeah, like the King Kong was actually in the in the play. He's a jihadist. That, ooh, he's got, I like that a lot. He's got the whole drip and everything.
Starting point is 00:13:24 He's got, he's got a box cutter. He's got everything, dude. Drip, I mean, I like how they dress over there. I think the turban with the robe, the flowing nature of it, vibe. Listen,
Starting point is 00:13:37 speak, airy. Only because what you just said reminded me of this. I got this is a message for Jordan. Okay? Because I know he's listening. Stop sending me this AI
Starting point is 00:13:49 Seinfeld crap. He's spamming me with this AI Seinfeld stuff. And it is ridiculous. You gotta stop. Have you seen any of this stuff? No, I don't think so.
Starting point is 00:14:02 I don't think I want to. He is, it's, it's nonstop with this guy. This motherfucker. Let me see. Is he invested in the company that makes it? Yeah, I think so. I think he's a secret and he's a secret, um,
Starting point is 00:14:18 anthropic investor. Yeah, I knew it. I knew it. It's, it's just, it's, it's just a, it's just a, I Seinfeld and it's the most ridiculous shit ever. I want to get to where I'm trying to find the thing that pissed me off when I saw it. Yeah, like it's it's just the. I hate it.
Starting point is 00:14:43 You're muted. I was expecting at some point for it to be like grotesque or something. No, it's not gross. It's just stupid. It's just dumb. There was a, there was a thing where they were talking about like, why do you, why make a big show of transforming? Why do you transform in the car? Why do you have to do it in front of the person?
Starting point is 00:15:00 And it's, it, I was like, this needs to stop. So stand down, Jordan. We're going to ban you from. Speaking of the double decisions. You want to talk about Sony's, uh, Sony's, uh, try, most recent idiotic. Oh, yeah, we, we covered that on sacred for sure. Like, yeah, them, them losing Kojima. Dude, they just don't know how to do anything, man.
Starting point is 00:15:22 I mean, did they lose him? Did this, it almost seems like they shoved them out the door. I think they kicked them out. Yeah. Well, I mean, what I mean is that they, yeah, they, I didn't mean it like, I guess. It's just more confused. Like, it would almost even be a little bit understandable. It's like, oh, they fumbled it where it's like, what is.
Starting point is 00:15:39 What's crazy? What's crazy? What makes of the wildness is that Xbox picked it right up. They're smart, man. That new Xbox lady is smart. Asha Sharma is just not retarded. That's it. She's not even smart.
Starting point is 00:15:55 She's just not stupid. You know what I mean? Well, she's also, she's also clearly not like a nice guy. You know what I mean? Like Phil Spencer was a bit of a nice guy. He was a bit of like a pope with the most recent pope. You know, that guy was like everybody was like, I can't remember his name because I don't give a shit about the popes, really. But like I knew that there was a pope recently that everybody liked.
Starting point is 00:16:15 Maybe it was one before. Francis. It was Francis, right? Yeah. Yeah. Maybe. Yeah. But I'm saying it's like, he was kind of like that guy where it's just like, yeah, our games are everywhere.
Starting point is 00:16:23 And like, whatever. Here's a subscription service. And you get all of our games day one for free or whatever. and like, you know what, if you want to cancel your game pass, we'll give you a full refund because business, I guess, we don't care about making money. This lady is just like, no,
Starting point is 00:16:39 double fines not making money, we're going to cut them. No, actually, we're going to keep gears off a PlayStation actually, and all these things, right? And so they pick up, they pick up Kajima after they cancel his next game. The thing that's crazy about this in particular, from my perspective.
Starting point is 00:16:59 It's really the only thing that I had to say about it is that, like, they funded either fully or partially, I think probably partially. I'm not familiar with the deals. Both Death Stranding games, right? They did both of those in partnership. And this deal for this next game, which was supposed to be basically, like, as far as we know,
Starting point is 00:17:23 like the spiritual successor to Metal Gear, It's like his next espionage, tactical, stealth kind of series. That's what it's going to be. That was written down as a deal a while ago, like before Death Stranding 2 even came out. So they knew that they were building towards this. And I think they know inherently that Death Stranding is not like a system selling kind of game. They know it's not like a wide appeal kind of thing in the same way that Metal Gear is. but I assumed that they were doing
Starting point is 00:17:55 Death Stranding and Death Stranding 2 to kind of build something with Kojima so that when they got to this thing, like that was the payoff. Like you were with Kojima and like these are little artsy games and they do kind of modestly well but like you're doing this for Kojima so that he can feel comfortable making this big thing that is
Starting point is 00:18:12 the thing you want. And so for them to build both Death Strandings and then be like actually we're not going to do the Metal Gear that's crazy because you just spent all your time and money on this stuff. It's like you spent all your time
Starting point is 00:18:28 building the driveway to a house and then you toss the keys to your competitor. Xbox is like, oh, thank you for building the driveway to this great house. Like, we'll take the house now. It's like, well, what the fuck? You didn't build this house. It's like, well, you don't want it. So,
Starting point is 00:18:44 we'll take it. Crazy fumble, in my opinion. I don't even know, like, because they were talking about how Desrain didn't make a lot of money. It's like, yeah, you knew that. You knew that that's raining wasn't like a moneymaker. When you greenlit death stranding too, I don't know.
Starting point is 00:19:00 Almost feels like some shareholder type of shit, just not understanding the plan. Or it's like me money now and not understanding that this is, we're investing right now. We're investing. Money now. Give money me now. I don't,
Starting point is 00:19:16 the thing that's weird to me is Sony right now is monumentally having so much negative press, like you would make sure that something like this would not happen because of all the negative press that's happening right now. It's weird that it's, it's just one thing after another. It was like Xbox. It's almost like it has to happen. One thing after another, it's just like, bro, what is going on? And then like Sony taking pot shots with the sharing thing back in the day. And this almost, oh yeah, this almost feels like this where, oh well you know we're doing the right thing so let's do you know it we're doing the right thing let's do the wrong thing it's it's weird i'm like why is this happening with sony it's chill well i know it's going
Starting point is 00:20:04 on they've gotten too comfortable being the bigger the bigger fish in a pond but now sure but why do why do you have to make retarded decisions after you're on top that's a thing that's what happens when you're a billionaire i think eventually you're just like now let's that's shit the bad I guess so. So you are fucking bans. I'm not a Kojima. I'm I am not really. I think Kojima's art.
Starting point is 00:20:29 He's artistic and that's really necessary in a game field that is in a field that's just like losing every artistic piece of itself, honestly. Video games have become so formulaic. It's like really obnoxious. But when we see it, we're seeing it right now with fucking Wolverine. It's like this is this This is the worst part of like nine games But I think I think getting rid of him The way they did is like so crazy now
Starting point is 00:20:59 Like just now it's like really now It's the worst Now do that It's the worst possible time Like I don't even like I Especially with how fervent They know how his fan base is Kojima fan are some of the most
Starting point is 00:21:16 fucking die hard video game fans ever where they're like Metal Gear Solid is pure art and it's great and it's great good franchise but they're like this is the best narrative ever yeah you know there are those people and it's like what I get it I get like I it's just I don't know man I
Starting point is 00:21:37 they're at EA levels of like what are you doing dog I think they might nearly pass them let's be fair EA is yeah he's owned by the Saudis now well I mean so but that's that's that's Saudi
Starting point is 00:21:53 that's not EA anymore Saudi A is crazy that's insane I hope they changed their name to that Saudi E Saudi A it's in your building they're serving
Starting point is 00:22:05 they're serving fucking Khashogi beef bowls in the cafeteria now you think they still got some of them left over yeah that for sure they were like wait a minute they can they cloned him a million times They're cloning and freezing the clones. The Saudis cloned a million copies of Khashoggi so they could just eat them.
Starting point is 00:22:27 We'll never go hungry again. We'll never go hungry. We've got an infinite Khashoggi glitch. That's bananas. But yeah, I don't know. Like they're just, I mean, the hardcore audience is not the real audience anymore, really. like money wise like they're just not the people
Starting point is 00:22:46 like and we see this every time by the way like this isn't even necessarily a new thing I remember very distinctly because it was viral for a really really long time back in the early 2010s I think where there was like a boycott Monomorfare 2 steam group and on launch day of MonoWR2
Starting point is 00:23:04 you looked at the steam group and everybody was playing literally every single person so like there's people people talk a lot of shit they're very loud online and there's always a big PR storm but like, dude, the Switch is a great example.
Starting point is 00:23:18 It's like, that shit's so expensive. Mario card for 80 bucks. Fuck no Nintendo sells millions. That's. And the Switch is still growing. The PS5 is like, you know, when the GTA trailer came out, like I think console sales for PS5 rose like 33% or some shit.
Starting point is 00:23:40 And this is like at the end of the generation because people just want to get in for it's just it's unfortunate but none of this bad press will really matter materially oh no and i think and i think they know that and so like they don't care really that's why that's why they say the stuff in the first place like we're gonna let you know and you're not going to do anything about it like i know you're upset right now especially oh there's not going to be any physical games in the future it's like yeah but you don't you don't buy physical games now if you truly cared you would do this and that's basically what you're what they're throwing in our faces.
Starting point is 00:24:14 And if we voted with our dollars, if we ever did that at any fucking point, you know, we could have nice things. It just, what do you do? There's too many people. Yeah,
Starting point is 00:24:25 I mean, I hate to say it. It's just too late now. It's just too late now, unfortunately. I hate to disregard, like, working against the system,
Starting point is 00:24:32 but it's just, it's too big of an industry. Like, you can't, like, because even, because even if you boycott something, like,
Starting point is 00:24:40 there's an entire overseas, market that doesn't give a shit about any of this that's like you know like what's like when China China's starting to open up now right and that's billions of people um
Starting point is 00:24:55 there could be like theoretically you could make a game in the United States and only sell to like a fraction of the Chinese market and sell zero copies in the US with like a bunch of US backlash and and make more money than you could concede we make in the states.
Starting point is 00:25:13 Yeah. You know what I mean? So it's just like it's a global market now. We're not the main demographic. We haven't been the main demographic for a long time, to be fair. But it's just, um, they have no need to cater to us. And yeah, a lot of companies have realized that, uh, I was looking into something like, uh, because somebody, some, some guy, I've never heard of him before this YouTuber,
Starting point is 00:25:36 but he made a Raid Shadow Legends video. And he was kind of recapping how, how, how, like oh remember like how this was received in the states with like the YouTubers that were you know easy target it's a gotcha game easy to shit on and since their advertising dollars were everywhere it was just a perfect storm of just shitting on it and people outside of the United States couldn't care less about any of that dumb bullshit because a I mean to be fair this was my first gotcha game that I ever even tried so there the people in that genre are like what do you like completely none of that stuff matter to anyone that was saying anything because they're already in this stuff and the biggest gotcha community is fucking china like there that is that is
Starting point is 00:26:23 their bread and butter that is south korea bro they all in south korea exactly just the asian market this game is so huge because of not only is it popular in europe but like it's it's they make too much money and then so the game is predatory and expensive and gay and fucking stupid retarded because those people aren't gonna do anything about like oh let's abstain from I don't know selling your house or whatever these fucking people
Starting point is 00:26:51 are doing that are competing at the highest level because I need to know I need to know how these people are spending there are people spending thousands of dollars a month on this game and I'm like gambling is demonic bro how are you doing it? I'm looking to that shit sometimes and I'm like holy because I have the gambling bug
Starting point is 00:27:08 I already said I have the gambling bug it's in me you should do it. I know I don't. I don't. Kingston used to bet on cock fights in the Bronx. That's crazy. That's crazy. And I would always lose money. You had you,
Starting point is 00:27:19 you groomed your rooster named Coxston. I remember that. Yeah. And I saw him get slaughtered. I saw him get slaughtered. Okay. Poor Coxston. But it's like,
Starting point is 00:27:31 I don't know, man, got to game. In general, just gambling in general games is crazy. Because I got it by Louboxes. Lubebox has fucking had me for a choke for a little bit on fucking Overwatch.
Starting point is 00:27:41 I'm glad they got. got rid of that shit because I was falling for it. It was getting me. It was getting me. And then freaking what you call? Also like card games too. Like every, it's just, the fact that gambling is also so crazy. Like there's so many cow sheet ads on everything. It's nuts. Yeah, it's way more
Starting point is 00:27:55 than I. It's completely acceptable now. Yeah, absolutely. It sucks. Yeah, it's really bad. It sucks. It's really bad. These Christians that are supposed to be Christian Godfaring people gambling fucking all the time too. It's hilarious. Yeah. They literally one of the immediate rules you're not supposed to do.
Starting point is 00:28:11 It's, It's tough, man, because it pisses me off when, like, I see these young creators and people who are just having mean channels and whatnot. They're throwing Polly Market on everything. It's annoying, but I'm like, okay, this person isn't rich. I get why they're not saying no to a probably $5,000 payday or something versus fucking LeBron James just partnered with Polly Market. And I'm like, you're a billionaire. I was going to say something. Like, you have.
Starting point is 00:28:40 why would you do this? And also, you're a sports guy, you're in the sport. Yep. This is so unethical, like, where it's just like,
Starting point is 00:28:50 we should get a piece of the pie too. And I'm like, yes, and let's just promote. There's already been scandals. There's already been investigations of people, you know,
Starting point is 00:28:58 cooking their own numbers and shit. We're in a post ethics world. Yes, we are. We are. You know, it's kind of like, all right, whatever.
Starting point is 00:29:06 If I can get your bag, who cares. Like, unfortunately it is, what it is. It's not going to get any better, unfortunately. I'm starting to learn to accept the, my problem is that I think I was kind of feeling like humans were more important than they actually are. And what I mean by that is, I think we're just to the, when you think about the universe, we're nothing. And so me expecting people to behave better is kind of silly, actually.
Starting point is 00:29:40 When you really think about it where it's like we are, we're probably animals to another intelligence that's on some other point part of the universe. That's like that is so much we can't even understand what they are. Sure. We're like we're nothing to them. And what I mean by that is I'm expecting humans to behave not like humans, I guess, in a way that they just once greed presents itself, I think the average person kind of partakes. Yeah. It's it's greed. It's it's microplastic.
Starting point is 00:30:10 you know it's a perfect storm of like all sorts of there's asbestos in people's brains and yeah there's plastic spoons and everybody's brains it's just like everybody's compromised so like what and isn't that the average the average person is severely lacking in intelligence to where I was on the train I was on the train when we got stuck I was telling you guys the the train comms went down and we were like bonding with some of the people
Starting point is 00:30:36 and then we of course we started talking about politics and shit And I just made a comment because I wanted to see what the average person felt like. And when I said, could you guys imagine, because we all lived through the first term of Trump. So it's like, okay, I get it. And I said, did you ever in your wildest dreams imagine or nightmares imagine that tens of millions of people were like, let's do this again? Like, did you ever, did you, did it really? It didn't really sink in until it happened. And they, it was all like a consensus of like, I genuinely didn't think that nigga was going to win again.
Starting point is 00:31:08 Like it just didn't, it felt like no shit. And then you realize you're like, oh, wait a minute. The average of the average intelligence is so much lower than we actually thought. It's actually kind of, wow. The specific problem, the specific problem that I want to bring up to is like, every time we talk about this, there's always people. There's some people in the comments who are like, oh, they think they're so smart. No. That's the problem.
Starting point is 00:31:33 Yeah. You're dumb if you think they're smart. We're dumb. If you think we're smart, you're really dumb. Yeah. Let me say this. You understand? But that's,
Starting point is 00:31:45 but I just want to finish this real quick. Because like we are, no, none of us are claiming to be smart. Everything that we, everything that we say, like even if we think it like really strong, it's like we're fucking retarded.
Starting point is 00:31:55 You know, like we think what we think and like we're probably wrong. It doesn't matter. But the fact that there are so many people that I can observe every day, both in interactions online and just like, just in the space and just that I have. I can observe. The fact that there's so many people who are, who I can tell are dumber than me is a problem. That's a problem. Yes. It's not about us being very smart. It's about the overall
Starting point is 00:32:25 collective, the collective intelligence sinking so low that I can observe. Like, I feel like I never used to, I feel like I used to be aware, right, of how, like, I'm not the smartest person around. but I felt like I was around a lot of people who were pretty smart. At a certain point, that's shifted. And I could tell, like, even in comments and even just replies over the year, even in the last like 15 years online, I've seen it. Yeah. Like, I remember when 20% of the comments were dumb. And then it went to 40.
Starting point is 00:32:58 Yeah, now it's like 70. And it's like, what's going on? And then it's like people like not knowing what words mean. Like really simple, simple. shit that like almost never used to happen as far as like disagreements with people and I'm just like you don't you're not you're not you're literally
Starting point is 00:33:17 not even hearing anything that we're saying right it's crazy and so like yeah I mean it's it's it's it's scary then it's the manipulation for me bro it's people people being so easily manipulated that it's like crazy it's or people are people being so hateful
Starting point is 00:33:34 I think I've gotten dumber actually that's what's even crazier I'm wiser. That's, yeah, well, I think we're all wiser. I think it was wiser. I don't think I'm smarter. But like I can tell like I forgot. I definitely forgot a bunch of shit that I used to know.
Starting point is 00:33:48 There's a lot of stuff that, yeah, especially with technology being so convenient, there's a lot of useful things that I've used to know how to do that I'm kind of forgetting. But, uh, dude, like, I just want to say to your point, like when somebody I really, I, I, this, it pains me when it's my audience, when it's people that, um, like, Like you're apart. I almost on default, I'm thinking we're on the same wavelength. The people that are listening and watching us, and I think most people are. But then there's like the comments like that where he said like, oh, they think they're so smart or something.
Starting point is 00:34:20 This is when I get so disappointed where I'm like, am I, what am I doing wrong? I feel like this. I just feel like this. I know this is necessary. I say, what am I doing wrong to where am I not properly communicating what we mean when it's, it seems obvious to me where it's like we're average. we want just to bring the bar up. Like most people, unfortunately, are below average. And then so when we talk about it, we're talking about it on a like, I always say like, as like, we're barely above water. Motherfuckers are sinking.
Starting point is 00:34:49 And it's like, just get above water. And then there's other motherfuckers that are flying around in a jet. Like there's real smart people that can run circles around us that understand all they can actually deconstruct a phone and build it back together. I couldn't do that shit. You know what I'm saying? Like I don't, I'm not actually an intelligent person. I'm just conscious enough to understand what's happening and then I have the gift as a human of critical thinking
Starting point is 00:35:12 and the thing when people make comments like that it upsets me. I'm like you're not thinking critically. You had one thought and then you did not extrapolate. You didn't take it in any other direction where it's like do they actually think they're like there's no questions asked. It's not asking you to be a fucking philosopher. I've had so many interactions with people where like they'll disagree with me and then I'll read what I said again and like what they're talking about
Starting point is 00:35:34 is just not mentioned at all. Like, I just like, I don't, I'll say something like, I think this. And they'll be like, well, I don't think that. And I'm like, I didn't say that. I said this. Yeah, yeah, dude. And then I'm just like, I'm, and I feel mean, but also I'm just like, how do you not, like,
Starting point is 00:35:51 what is? I just don't know. It's almost, you know what it is. It's almost as if the only thing that people remember about the things they respond to is like the last three words of what they're responding to or something. Yeah. No, that's real. And then they don't, you know what I mean?
Starting point is 00:36:05 That's real. It's scary. I think people argue from defense too much. I think people let too many things become their identity. So they argue from a state of where you're attacking me. I do it too. I'm not independent of that shit also. Hell yeah, but it's just like be self-aware of it.
Starting point is 00:36:21 No, no. I want to be clear. This is something that like most people fall into. But like, dude, like when it's the majority of the time for you. You know what I mean? Like I've, I've made typos. But like I'm not typoing 98% of the time that I'm writing something. And that's what it feels like.
Starting point is 00:36:40 It's just like, yeah, okay, I read that wrong or like I miscommunicated this or like, oh, I misunderstood what you were saying. That's normal for that to happen. But like I'll have back and forth with people like over and over again and they're still like they're not reading it. Oh, the best. Oh, you know, I said this. And then it's again. And it's like, well, what is going on? Oh, the grandest thing.
Starting point is 00:36:59 How are you this incapable? Right. People not being able to admit they're wrong, bro. That is the grandest. that is the biggest problem by far. It's the most annoying. Inability to admit they're wrong. Because if I'm wrong, I'm finished.
Starting point is 00:37:11 And it's like, you're not finished. It's on webs. It's on the internet. You can be wrong. And then guess what? You can get up and be like, oh, my bad. And then go do something else. It's the most basic.
Starting point is 00:37:21 You know how women. I'm sorry. Go ahead. Oh, let's see that. Let's hear it. Let's hear it. Let's hear it. I'm not even going to be like, no, I'm actually going to defend women for once.
Starting point is 00:37:32 It's kind of crazy. Cool. Let's hear it. No, I would say, you know how women are expected to almost behave in human? There's like a classiness that is associated with being a woman like keeping your, your shaving up, doing this. Yeah, all that stuff. Yeah, all of that type of stuff that's just normal human functions. Okay, okay, quiet. Quiet. Even though it's completely, even though it's perfectly understandable that they, that they're expected to do that. No, you want to hear a woman fart. Like, shut up. knowing a woman's shits makes them let us as attractive i can say that that it does it does i can say that but also
Starting point is 00:38:08 you're seriously keep keep shave keep shave don't fart don't burb don't don't even cough don't don't do nothing so i was day i was dating a girl years ago and she said i had to take a shit and then she came out of the bathroom i was like i got to break up with you you immediately you were you were gone but what you came out yeah it was yeah it was my apartment but i left you left you left her i love that idea you paid rent for the next three months like yeah I'm gonna give you some time to you know find a place to go but I can't be here no more. I remember the first time I met this girl, I had my first apartment and she it was just like bad circumstances where her and her friend came over and I felt bad for her friend because she just,
Starting point is 00:38:48 I don't know she ate something terrible but she like fucking destroyed my bathroom. Like she like had like horrible like diarrhea and I'm like that is I feel so bad for you because you know me as a gross man I can absolutely punish a bathroom and people would be like annoyed, but like, that's fine. My stock as a man doesn't go down at all. But a woman does that. And immediately you're like, gross. You're fucking disgusting. You're less of a woman.
Starting point is 00:39:15 Get out of my. That's so crazy. Get out of my property now. I don't even remember my original point. You started thinking that. That's crazy. You're so shit. No, no.
Starting point is 00:39:26 I remember. I remember. Okay. I'll say, women are women are. women are supposed to be like human or whatever blah blah or be inhuman in the same way when you were talking about people being wrong it is one of the most basic things to just be a human we're not computers we're not perfect at all and so i don't understand what even getting into arguments with people because some people would accuse me of that or like and i would say you're projecting and i can prove this because
Starting point is 00:39:53 i myself am not attached to information the only time i'm ever bothered by if I'm wrong or not is if the information pertains to me myself. Like if you're right. If somebody said something, I did something and I'm like, no, I know I didn't or whatever. That shit triggers that. That pisses me out. And that makes sense. It's tied to you.
Starting point is 00:40:13 But then if it's like, if we're arguing. The amount of times people, the amount of times people have been like, uh, have accused me of doing something that I dubs did is insane. I love that people think your eye does. It's so, it's crazy. It is crazy to me that that is. It is crazy to me that is. still happening. You guys had similar cadence. That's it and you're both
Starting point is 00:40:34 white and wear glasses. Barely. It is so it's just funny. It's like your cadence is similar. I can say that. Like that I can't sometimes. Sometimes than that. But I got my cadence when you were making YouTube videos once upon the time maybe. Well, my cadence shifts depending on like what I'm talking about. You know what I mean? Like there's there's some times where like my
Starting point is 00:40:58 register is in Idub's default register, but then other times it's not. So like, I don't know. I understood it for at a certain point. Like I understood it. It was a little dumb, but like I could at least get it in like 2016, 2017. Maybe even a little bit earlier. But like, brother, it's 2026. How is this still a thing?
Starting point is 00:41:19 You said the Edward Tenamoto's like, you know, I did. You went on this apology. You went on this apology tour and I'm like, that wasn't me. that's fucking insane I've never lost that I'm sorry I've never won it is insane it's crazy that creator class people
Starting point is 00:41:34 people thought you fought twice that's crazy that's crazy he thought you lost twice that creator class didn't he just come out didn't you just fight that other black guy this guy is way taller
Starting point is 00:41:46 and has tattoos on it what is happening right now why do you get rid of his Puerto Rican flag the second time it came out yeah and he has a wife what's going on
Starting point is 00:41:55 and you're like that's not me I was resting sitting down. Impossible. I loved them. Kill them twice. Kerkum. Oh man.
Starting point is 00:42:08 Did you guys see anything for the Kerkervisory? I feel like I didn't actually see my. I saw so much. I was very busy, unfortunately, so I missed most of it. I didn't like what you sent to me because I was like, send me fun stuff. Why are you sending me the horrible stuff? It's just because no, because that's mostly what it was. I was streaming.
Starting point is 00:42:28 In your feed. Yeah, of course. That's all I can say. That's all I'm done to me. To me, yes. To me, yes. Like, it was either, it was either, for me, it was either, like, really, like, high concept left wing. Like, even though Charlie goes a piece of shit, he's a symptom of the problem.
Starting point is 00:42:44 And people, like, going on respectable diatrides about how much of a piece of shit he was. Or was just him getting murdered over and over and over with a bunch of memes. Like, the Usa one, here's a warning shot. but like that one is crazy. I just don't want to see the real footage mixed into it. I have never seen a person die that many times ever in one day. It was unbelievable. I'm not even saying this as a joke.
Starting point is 00:43:12 There's no smile on my face. It was outrageous how many just just memes about this person's demise. I was blown away. I was like, yo, people really hate him. he was very they hate they I think they hate how people reacted to him more than they hate him 100% I think it's I think that's a part of I think people don't like him I think people don't react like the way to react it about him and I think the the forced like you should feel bad about this
Starting point is 00:43:44 really set people off like really set people off it's like bad what's crazy about is it's not even that you should feel bad about it because I think most normal people see it's like saw that happen and like processing me like this is bad like I didn't feel good about it I was nervous that whole day actually because it was just like man this is like I don't like where this is going yeah you know also it's like it's a podcaster like of all like that's really how I how I felt about it at the time it's like what a waste of the of political capital of like an assassination yeah you know what I mean it's just like what a wasted target I firmly believe he's just a guy He's just an idiot guy.
Starting point is 00:44:25 Like there's so many people who are like actually responsible for like death and destruction and like corrupt beyond all fucking means. And it's just like it that's it was unsettling as fuck. But like the people who are just like, oh, okay, we have to revere this person now. Just like, well, no. For me, the thing is this right. That's not really how anything he should. He should not have been killed in public square. That is what I agree with.
Starting point is 00:44:51 And I don't think it should be. Although he said he. no look look look let's not get into that because there's there's there's I know I know there's so many clips of him dare dare I say validating it but I mean just objectively yes but but when people were like how could you not feel bad I don't feel bad this guy's a piece of shit man I'm sorry I don't feel I don't feel sad that he died I feel sad about the situation that led to his death and the currents of it I'm not gonna cry that I'm not gonna mourn him you're never going to make me mourn him sorry and the fact that so many of them we're trying to do that
Starting point is 00:45:27 is i'm you're it's not working bro it's not i just i can't do that we talk about humans and and and and how stupid they are like this is what upsets me or it's like show me some consistency then maybe you can call me out right like if you're if you're like oh man when x y z got um assassinated all this stuff this was horrible like i hate they didn't they didn't give a fuck about none of that they didn't give a fuck about the ops absolutely none of that so like when that's all So that's my thing. Show me that you're consistent and then criticize me. And I will concede to you and be like, yeah, it is kind of fucked up that out like how I don't give a fuck.
Starting point is 00:46:03 And you seem to have compassion for humans in general. I will give you that, sir. But the people that are saying that aren't those people. And it's always people with like George Floyd memes and like, and like Alex Peretti memes and shit. So it's like, well, 1,000%. Well, things like that and then. And they're freaking. A Bible verse in their comments.
Starting point is 00:46:20 Yeah. Bible message I comment and it's like, dude, you got you like what art? Like it's just, it's so crazy to me. It's like, dude, I don't know, man. I can't stand that shit, dude. I'm like, just have some, you don't even have an introspection. Just have some fucking self-awareness to not say anything. Like that you're a monster and you shit on people on the left and you think it's funny when people on the left die or people that are perceived on the left die.
Starting point is 00:46:43 Have the fucking self-awareness to just not say anything when your God king and Kirk is his neck explodes. God Kirk. And they hear God Kirk explodes. He's done. And then just be like, Dan, that pissed me off. But yeah,
Starting point is 00:46:58 okay, they got one too. The thing, too, that I remember from when I was a kid was that like, I don't know, man.
Starting point is 00:47:06 Like, I think the idea broadly that you shouldn't celebrate death was just never really something that I ever thought. Because I remember, I remember when Osama aladdin died. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:47:19 People on the street. popping off. Yeah, people were popping off. It was like, it was great. And like, I understand it's a terrorist or whatever. Like, I get it. But like, I mean, just like, that's still celebrating death because you believe that someone is responsible for great harm and like, it's you think it's good that they're no longer
Starting point is 00:47:34 around. So it's like, all right, well, I mean, you, you will never find a, you've, there's no tweet of mine or any video of mine where I said, celebrating death is like inherently an immoral thing. Yeah. I don't know. I, I think it's unwise and I think it's unkind.
Starting point is 00:47:50 but like you can't be out there saying that shit and then like simultaneously meming about like you know X person dying or Y person dying it's like you can't you can't partake and act like you're above it it's insane I very much so
Starting point is 00:48:06 I can look back at myself because I retweeted the video of it right and I said something pretty hateful and I still hate that so gay I still hate that nigga I still think he's trash and I I wish I wish he would have died from like rectal cancer or something like something painful and sad.
Starting point is 00:48:24 Yeah, not assassinated. Sure. Yeah, not assassinated for sure. I want him, I want him to die weak and sad and unloved. That's what I would prefer for him. That's crazy. It's not crazy.
Starting point is 00:48:35 It's not crazy. I can say worse, but I'm not going to. Did you see the statue that they put in, uh, in a New York, the one that they, uh,
Starting point is 00:48:41 of him? Well, yeah. Well, do you remember that thing that that guy was building the statue that that dude was putting together like a couple months ago. Of course they vandalized the shit out of it, dude. Oh, I don't know if they did yet. I assume they did.
Starting point is 00:48:53 My assumption is that it's, that thing is in shambles. But like, uh, but maybe in the spirit of 9-11, maybe people are like, you know what? Yeah, maybe. Let's blow up this building instead of this time. We'll do it, we'll do it on 912. Yeah. I'd like, Charlie Kirk's staff. And I think, I don't know. That's it for me, dude. Like, I'm not, I'm not, I'm not a person of that is like, oh. I really don't give a shit about Charlie Kirk. We are, yeah, it's what, but I, shut up. He was Charlie Kirk. Any, any, any, any, he wants carried a flame. He isn't anymore.
Starting point is 00:49:25 That's crazy. Any of you, am I wrong? Any nigga right now, if, if this, if this clip makes it into one of those spaces where the people loved Kirkie, just, bro. Just think for two seconds. The performative fucking tears, man. Dude, that should have me. Officer Tainum, bro. Oh, my God.
Starting point is 00:49:44 If it was up to me, if it was up to me, I would have, I would have thrown him. into a pass on the ship a long time ago Who was that guy Who was that guy That was that guy that was like I wouldn't cry
Starting point is 00:49:54 If my own wife died Oh yeah That's Officer Tatum Oh that's that him Is that him? Yeah that damn And then him crying over this guy I'm like give me a fucking
Starting point is 00:50:01 Cricken Coon in a blue suit dude I can't deal with him I'm gonna say this too There are some There are some people in In certain communities That like
Starting point is 00:50:10 That like we That I kind of knew or whatever Who like either Unfollowed or blocked me Or whatever because we made fun of a Charlie Harker. I'm like, brother, I've been in your living room when you were watching videos of people dying
Starting point is 00:50:22 over and over again. I've been in rooms with you while you put on like fucking lively compilations and laughed at like children being electrocuted. Yeah, exactly. What the fuck is that? Get the fuck over yourself. That is insane.
Starting point is 00:50:36 I can't. They know who they are. I can't stand people like that. I really can't like any of that shit. Like, again, it's in the fucking Bible, man. Like, it's in the Bible. Like, you know, he was without sin. cast a first stone.
Starting point is 00:50:48 Meaning none of you niggins are going to throw shit because you're all fucking guilty. That's, remember, none of them read the fucking Bible. None of them care about any of that shit. Not a single fucking word of it means anything to them. So what's crazy is the, what's crazy is the Bible's fake and it's still, sorry, my, my apologies. No, go ahead.
Starting point is 00:51:03 You're already gone. I feel bad for upsetting you. This guy, man. So in the Bible, which is a fake book made by, my rulers, even they were like, awesome men. it's a book of fake stories for the fake stories yes
Starting point is 00:51:19 well the stories are real they're just not true okay sorry my apology all right jordan peterson yeah no no no Chris is just doing it's the final words he's correct
Starting point is 00:51:31 Jordan Jordan Peterson would be right to say that he wouldn't be like well it is real that they're fucking not is real if it wasn't real if these stories weren't real we'd have nothing to talk about we wouldn't be there wouldn't be
Starting point is 00:51:44 nothing to tell. Could I slide my penis on these pages if it was not real? Hold on. It's time to drink my bevy. I can never remember that bevy. It sounds so unnatural. Blended salami steak, fat, and more steak. That's so disgusting. It's going up the straw so slow. So slow. No, it's not. That's what makes it impressive. Oops. There was one. fast kernel of corn of pepper in it and his face just starts oh no what have you done?
Starting point is 00:52:22 He starts reacting like venom when he hears loud sound he's like venom when he hears loud noise and they're like his body jumps off stupid we've well listen we veered a little bit away from the Sony stuff but we could
Starting point is 00:52:38 rest we should we should probably touch on the Wolverine insomniac stuff They don't like me, Bub. They don't like me, Bub. What have I done, Bob? They hate me, Bob.
Starting point is 00:52:52 You know what people really aren't talking? Oh, sorry, go ahead. Well, I just want to preface it a little bit by saying, like, the last episode we did, we recorded the day before the embargo lifted. So, like, I didn't quite know how people were going to feel about Wolverine. I know how I felt about it. And I was just like, you know, I was just going to be honest. about like what I think about this thing which is a little nerve wracking
Starting point is 00:53:18 because and I'd never thought about it in this way I guess because like it's it's having games early is such a rare thing for me and even when I did get games early sometimes I would still wait a while to play them because it's just like I was just playing other stuff or like I just wouldn't have time or whatever so it's weird forming an opinion on a game
Starting point is 00:53:35 purely by yourself where you just like you don't because normally I hear at least something about it it's like oh how's that game it's like somebody be like oh, the combat's good, but like X, Y, Z is bad. So, like, okay, I can at least adjust my expectations or whatever. But talking about Wolverine before it came out, I was just like, man, I wonder if I'm just, like, alone. And maybe this is, like, great.
Starting point is 00:53:57 And maybe I'm out of touch or something. So it was, like, weirdly kind of validating to see that, like, okay, I at least am not crazy. And I have at least some kind of understanding. But, dude, it's, it's getting kind of. People are going in. People are going in. That might be the most scathing skill up review. I think I've ever seen.
Starting point is 00:54:20 It wasn't nice. It wasn't nice. It was, it was well deserved, though. It was, I felt it. I felt his disappointment,
Starting point is 00:54:29 especially when he preferences it, like he loves Wolverine. And so he's like, oh, that's bad, this sucks. This sucks. And everything he showed,
Starting point is 00:54:37 I was like, I was like, oh, no, it's worse than Chris said. Yeah. I was like, no, I mean, you hit all the points. And I love that he mentioned the same thing with the,
Starting point is 00:54:51 there's no point of the QTEs. There's no point of, they don't do anything. He showed it. And I'm like, oh, my God. The fucking everything's painted. There's fucking, not only is this scent showing you, then there's that jizzy shit. I don't know what is that stuff.
Starting point is 00:55:06 I don't know what that stuff is. It's like that purple shit. Oh, the purple shit is supposed to guide you towards the hidden. The mini-games? optional. So there's like a nightmare challenge thing. Oh yeah. That's it. Where it's just like it's like a room that you can go to in each level.
Starting point is 00:55:22 It's it should be hidden, but it just like it you would think so. It just shows you shows you where it is and then you go in there and you're in like a cabin. And it's where you can do like mission select and you can do like challenges and look at like collectibles and stuff. But like it's it's for like, oh, here's a obstacle course where you just kind of push forward on the stick and jump. And that's it. Yeah. And it's, yeah. It's really, it's everything that I saw is like, oh, man,
Starting point is 00:55:49 because, yeah, the only thing that I would want to do legitimately is a little bit of combat because everything else just seems like piss. I was like, wow. It's, it was so, it's so much worse than I could have imagined as far as, you know, the one thing that people aren't talking about, I think it's just because people are just used to insomniac. I just, I don't know. I can't get over how Wolverine looks to me. He looks fucking stupid to me.
Starting point is 00:56:12 Like I just, he looks fucking stupid. I'm like, nobody's, maybe, like I said, they're just used to. Like,
Starting point is 00:56:20 this is just how people look in this universe. The only, the only character from Insomia game I've seen that looks good is Miles in the second and third game. That's his own single game and then the third other one. I think every other person's face looks bad. He looked great, but it didn't particularly bother me. Like,
Starting point is 00:56:37 I think, like, I think MJ looked wild in the first game. I think Octavius looks okay. I think Otto looks fine, largely because he's bald and so they don't have to worry about like the plastic hair shit. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. But like, it's so funny watching like in that first game especially, and I love Spider-Man. That first Spider-Man game, I think is great.
Starting point is 00:56:57 But like when Otto and Norman Osborne interacting, it's like, yo, Norman looks like a fucking cartoon. He looks like a cabbage patch kid. He looks like a cabbage patch kid. He looks ridiculous. He looks like if they fused Annie and Donald Trump together. It would make what Norman Osborne looks like. It's completely accurate. Dead serious.
Starting point is 00:57:17 It's like what is this character? But yeah, insomniac like there, we've talked about it on this show before. Like we, I think we have literally an episode called insomniac face. Yes, yes. Where we're just talking about how like awkward everybody looks in their games. And yes, this is no exception. I think this is more, they do more like direct scans of people in this one. like even just like Essex is just Troy Baker
Starting point is 00:57:40 and shit like that. And Devere Wilson is in it and guess what? Yeah. Guess what? She looks like fucking Devere Wilson. Do you remember when I was talking about? I laughed out loud. I mean, look, Troy Baker's doing a good job.
Starting point is 00:57:55 Like he's a good actor. If you know who Joy Baker is, you'd be like, oh, that's Troy Baker. Yeah, but if you, yeah, exactly. Like, if you know who that is, you're like, oh, it's right. I think that's such a, it's Troy Baker. Oh, my God. But you're going to your devil. I want to hear that.
Starting point is 00:58:08 ever Wilson rant because brother. Dude, by the way, she does nothing in the get. Like, it is, it is actually now that I think about it, like, yeah, she's in it. But like, I think she has like maybe six lines. Is she the leader of the Merlocks? The Morlocks? I have
Starting point is 00:58:24 no idea. She had an eye patch on, right? I don't know. I don't know who she is. She's Callisto, I think. Yeah. There you. Yeah. Yeah. But she has, I think, no exaggeration. Six lines. I'm not even kidding She's barely in the fucking thing
Starting point is 00:58:40 But it's like why What a waste Is she the Is she the Wienhelm like scream For like video games now? Is that what it's going on? It's becoming crazy Do you remember when I was talking about
Starting point is 00:58:55 How like a lot like back in the day Voice actors would like they would have their They would have like a little Maybe like promotional material of themselves right and it would have them surrounded by their characters. Yeah, yeah, yeah. And it used to be this, like, diverse array of, like, really interesting designs. And now I just think about Deborah Wilson's in that same.
Starting point is 00:59:17 And you'd be like, which one is the real Deborah Wilson? Because it's just her skin. It's like, this one has an eye patch. This one also has an eye patch. This one has short hair. This one has slightly short hair. This one is a Jedi. I love that.
Starting point is 00:59:33 This one's a Jedi. Somebody should make that. Like just showing her Deborah Wilson's. Yeah. No shade to Debra Wilson. Into the Wilson verse. I think she's a fantastic voice actress. I think she's extremely funny.
Starting point is 00:59:44 Like the people don't understand how funny she is. She's mad fucking funny. Nothing about what we're saying is a is a commentary on like how she does. Yeah. That's like a dumb person thing. Like I don't even want to preference that because no one's actually criticizing her. Oh, no. I'm not.
Starting point is 00:59:58 I'm just giving her praise. I think she deserves praise. So I'm giving her praise. I just think it's ridiculous that she's been herself so many times. It's like, dude, like, my favorite character version of her is Sabathu because it's a, it's something else. When she's a creature, when she's something else, there's literally there's nothing to criticize. Because that is like the only, if I were a voice actor, I would not want to be myself. That would be so fucking unless it's like meta.
Starting point is 01:00:26 Unless it's meta, you know, like maybe one or twice I'm in a game and I just appear in a game. Like if I'm Deborah Wilson, like, that's the only reason. I just remembered something. Yeah. There's, yo, this had me busting. I wanted to take a picture of it like on PS5, but I, Oh, you busting? But it was, no.
Starting point is 01:00:47 It's fucking weird. I was about say, dude, you're tripping, bro. You're such a dick. You're geeked right now. That's a good interjection, but fuck you. No, so I was playing Wolverine and I was like, there's this thing that came up, was like, I wanted to take a picture up because it looked so ridiculous, but I was like, oh, is this going to automatically share?
Starting point is 01:01:03 And then am I going to break like embargo? so I was like, I don't want to do it. There is a scene in Japan where Logan does like, he's doing like a motorcycle chase and then it ends and it kind of ends in like a somewhat comedic way. Like it's just like
Starting point is 01:01:20 there's a crash and Wolverine's kind of running away from it and then you just see like a Japanese worker guy and he's just like looking at it like oh grand I got to deal with this. And then Logan comes from off screen and gives him the keys or whatever is just like this is yours just deal with it. But there's a moment where Logan is standing next to this Japanese worker guy. And it is so funny because you can tell, you know how like,
Starting point is 01:01:45 you know how like in old cartoons they would have like painted backdrops and then something in the background would have to move. So like that was drawn on an animation cell. And you can kind of tell what part of the background is like going to move or going to be animated because it looks different than the background. Sure. it is so clear that this this Asian man had no budget put into him at all
Starting point is 01:02:11 like he looks like a PS3 Asian man and then Logan who's like the main character is like all this detail you can see the pores on his skin and it makes the Japanese man look like a fucking Plato man it is it is so funny
Starting point is 01:02:32 and I was like, I don't want to reinstall that fucking game to take a picture of it, but like, I, I, I, but it is, but it is so hysterical. Like, I wonder if, when there's a, when there's like a video of a playthrough of it, I'm going to skim and look for that cutscene because it was, oh, there you go, and take a picture of it because it was so damn funny. But, man, yeah, I, I don't know. It's, it's, it's getting kind of torn apart. It's got like a 77, which to be fair is fine. Like, it's, it's, It's like middling and very much like this is a game that like if somebody that wasn't insomniac made it, you'd be like, oh, cool. Yeah. I bet that. Yeah. Yeah, that makes sense. I think it was kind of like it was reminding me of less disappointment, I would say, because we were waiting forever for the for the next Dragon Age installment. But in the same vein where it's like, this is competent, but also kind of flat.
Starting point is 01:03:28 They can be competent and entirely spiritually empty. You know, it gets really devoid. That's what I think Dragon Age is. Dragon Age is a competent game. It's a game that exists and it's made. Still hurts me. Someone worked hard on it. Not the art designers.
Starting point is 01:03:43 I'm still hard. I kind of know what people feel like when, when they're yearning to go back to like their ex, you know? Because like I sometimes have that feeling where I like, I want to boot up that game again. Just like, no, maybe it's better than I remember. Why?
Starting point is 01:03:58 Do you think, do you understand the trauma that I'm dealing with? No, Derek, do you think about this? Do you think you're wrong? I'm wrong. The internet's wrong. No, but you understand how people are wrong. You know how people know better not to go back with their ex. They know better, but they still convince themselves that maybe it'll be different.
Starting point is 01:04:14 You're better than that, bro. I'm completely self-aware, but I just saying that I have this sensation that wants to believe. Derek, if you play that game again, if you play that game again, I'm only going to refer to you as the hard R. That is it. I'm only going to refer to you as that. I'm never going to call you your name. name. We're going to be at a get together.
Starting point is 01:04:34 And I'm like, oh, look at who just came in. Edward and his wife. That's crazy. Listen, I'll look at, if they, what if they do what the Witcher 3 is doing right now? And they just completely overhaul everything and make it all like, hey, it doesn't look like Gumbi anymore. It doesn't look like a fucking Fortnite anymore. The characters aren't small and little dumb little bodies.
Starting point is 01:04:55 I hate the way everyone looks. It doesn't look fucking retardant anymore. And, um, and we also, here's an expansion where, older characters come back and it's it's fun if they did something like that I'd be like first of foremost where'd y'all get this money because y'all did not make that much from play it yeah yeah yeah yeah second of all I would look I would play it look at look if I said I wouldn't play that
Starting point is 01:05:15 that'd be a damn lie I would stream it I'd be smiling my teeth at me have a big old grin but it's just at the same time I also acknowledge that I'm perfectly content with it not happening like I'm okay with Dragon Age not coming back again. Like I'm fine with that. Oh, yeah. I mean, it's, it's, I would, I don't trust it, um, to, to ever be competent again in the way that I kind of wish that they would just cancel the next mass effect.
Starting point is 01:05:44 I just, I don't want to really go through it. I wouldn't be surprised if they cancel. I mean, I would totally be okay with that. I kind of want, I don't want to go through the heartbreak, man. You know, I don't want to Saudis to cancel. It's crazy. That's crazy. There's going to be a Muslim. There's going to be a jihadist Muslim alien. fucking dude, I guarantee Ronaldo's gonna be in it. They put him in, like, I made it to space. I kicked the ball to space.
Starting point is 01:06:06 Look, I'm in space. They put him in fucking a city of the wolves. Dog, my friend was, one of our friends actually was so excited every city of the wolves.
Starting point is 01:06:17 And he was like, okay, the Saudis bought it. Look, man, that does a disregard the hard work that the developers made did to make it. Then he saw Ronaldo and it
Starting point is 01:06:24 homie with a whole ass charge. Nigger with a whole ass charge. And he was like, I don't. think I can buy it and then they put Chun Lee in it too and he was hurt and he was like I can't play it still even though her ass is crazy yeah yeah what the her design is the wolves listen the game is ridiculous the game looks fine uh it's very inexpensive to buy but I was just dude that ran all those shit does sit me have you seen her design in that game you think I haven't seen man I've seen I do the only
Starting point is 01:06:55 time I played fortnight was when Chun Lee was in the fucking game all right Chris Chris have you seen, have you seen Chun Lee's design in City of the Wolves? No, what's, I don't even know it. Look at how they drew her ass in that game. It's hilarious. Like, Chunle is, they just do a good job. They understand the assignment when Chun Lee is created. Like, Chun does not look like that in street.
Starting point is 01:07:17 Look, did I expect. She looks great. Look at her in Fortnite, man. Her fucking ass is huge. She got a fat pussy in Fortnite. It was crazy. Give her a really fat pussy. And the street fighter six, they did a fucking excellent job.
Starting point is 01:07:27 Am I crazy for seeing that? No, I agree. I agree. I was like, look, Chudely has a nice butt and really great legs. Her ass is, that's a Nicki Minaj, 2010 ass. It's good. I was like, what is happening, dude? Listen, man, they.
Starting point is 01:07:46 Believe me wrong, I bought the game, left it on the screensaver. Did what I had to do. Yeah. Return the game to Steam and I went about my day. I think it was time for me to put some nude mods on. I never, I never, I never, it's time for me to buy. It's okay, Saudis, you convince me, you convince me, Saudis, you have my money. Having, having that little of a line is great.
Starting point is 01:08:07 I love this. Being brought up like that, it's like, oh, you know what? You're right. Saudis, let's get back in bed with each other. I just love over the years, like, if you look at Chun Li from the Free Fighter 2, her legs were just a little exaggerated. And I love what it's evolved into. So it's like, oh, no, no, no. she has legs she has my thighs she has like the like you know like her her body her top part
Starting point is 01:08:33 it doesn't match her lower part of her body at all i'm a massive fan of it it's amazing it's good stuff you know what happens it becomes it becomes like we're going to exaggerate for this game just because we're going to exaggerate and then people are like oh that's what she looks like and then they they take what she looks like and then we're like we're going to exaggerate for the next game but then the new exaggeration is already based on something that in itself was an exaggeration yeah so just continues to grow exponentially. When did she start looking like that?
Starting point is 01:09:01 I think it had to be four, right? When she started looking like, oh, damn, damn. So she kind of, so it got a little, like, say, because if you look at it, because in three, was she, because Alpha, no one could tell. And Alpha was probably her most tame, and I think that was maybe by design since it was a prequel, right?
Starting point is 01:09:19 Because she still had thick thighs, but she was wearing fucking pants. And everyone was like, like, like, like, upset. You were edging, they kept getting quelled. No, no. Alpha's my favorite series, but still, that did upset me. But then they fixed it.
Starting point is 01:09:36 The remedy by putting in Armica in three, and I'm like, we're back, ladies and gentlemen. We're back with some of the most ridiculous design in a female sprite. And like, it was almost like they were like, you know, I know S&K's got my, which is, that's, that's Primo. and then they were like, we got to destroy this. We got to absolutely cook this. Dude, and they did a fantastic time.
Starting point is 01:10:03 My's design is so sexual in the newest game. It's crazy. The way she fights is this. Have you seen her intro when you select her and she's on the, I'm like, this is. Do you think I didn't put, listen,
Starting point is 01:10:17 do you think I didn't slap nude mods on her? And I'm seeing her intro with her butt ass naked. Dude, if I was a little kid, if I was 14, it would genuinely take like power lifters that get me out of my room off that. And they would probably get me out.
Starting point is 01:10:35 It's not even a definite. Being 14 with a with a PC that can, I mean, you can mod, that would have been dangerous. It must be the most dangerous thing on the planet walking into a 14 year old's room in this period of time.
Starting point is 01:10:49 I never would have. Because you, because you will get shot. You will end up with a, uh, a splatter mark on your forehead. I just don't even want. By sheer coincidence.
Starting point is 01:10:59 I wouldn't even do it. I would wait. I'd be like I'm son from about 13 to 18. I'm never coming in a room. I never come in his room. Never. I know what goes on there, man. I was your age at one point.
Starting point is 01:11:12 I know what goes on there. It smells. It smells crazy. It's crazy. Dude, my, my friend lived with his like two brothers. Like, they were sharing a room. I never went in there. again because I swear to God
Starting point is 01:11:26 I saw dry cum shot on the fucking law. Chris, what the fuck is this, Chris? What? Oh, my God. What did Chris do? Oh, sorry. Yeah, I just wanted to Why does he look like? He looks like AI a little bit. I don't want to I saw a DLSS of
Starting point is 01:11:44 Hezbollah. Hezbollah. AI and on to Link for Macarena remake or whatever. Do link? I don't like how he looks like AI a little bit, man. I hope not, but he looks a little... I do not like this baby... He looks the jaw, dude. Am I wrong?
Starting point is 01:12:00 Am I wrong? He looks suspect, right? He looks suspect. He looks like a... Like a fucking cabbage patch kid. I don't like it. He looks animal-like. I guess. Yeah, I don't know. He just looks...
Starting point is 01:12:12 He looks upsetting. Adult link looks pretty good, actually. Yeah, just make his face not so round like a fucking baby. Like, what are you doing to me? I don't know, whatever. It's not for me. You should make him look like Hasbola, you know? That's what they should do. I would prefer it at this. point. I think so too.
Starting point is 01:12:26 It would actually convince me to be like, I'm gonna switch too. That's crazy. No you wouldn't. But yeah, yeah. It's a lot. You'd be like, oh, that looks cool. I'm gonna mod this once and then you'd have a concert. He spent $500.
Starting point is 01:12:43 Well, so listen. I don't know, man. Shout to insomnia, I guess. Good luck with it. I'm sure it'll still sell millions. Oh, of course. It's still Wolverine. Yeah. Yeah. I haven't I haven't I haven't bought it. I don't think I don't think I'm gonna get it. But oh no. I would I honestly. That's just got to be like 15 bucks before I even think about it. What really bothers me is that I yeah. I really love the iteration of Spider-Man and insomnia like has done. I think that's like one of the best Spider-Man ever. And I was like in the first game I would agree. Yeah. I think I think even in this first and second I think this iterate like his powers how his powers are used the way he fights the way you get the like embodying him I really like it a lot
Starting point is 01:13:31 but I don't know what I was thinking for Wolverine like what I was like well they're gonna make Wolverine cooler than he is he's already kind of silly well the thing to me was just like man and I think I brought this up last time but it is wild that in Spider-Man they were like oh Spider-Man's cool but like he's not that interesting
Starting point is 01:13:51 so like we're gonna make you play as Mary Jane we're gonna make you play as Miles because we need to break up this gameplay experience and then they make Wolverine, which is an arguably way more repetitive character to play, and then they just don't think to do that at all. Even though you're surrounded by X-Men who are like interesting and potentially could have some cool gameplay stuff attached to them. It like, it blows my mind that that was a decision that they made. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:14:13 They have you doing fucking science puzzles in Spider-Man to break up the flows. They're like, well, what if people don't want to play Spider-Man the entire time? It's like, well, they'll shut the game off. Said no one literally, I can say this literally ever. No one's ever said that. No. And so, and so, like, that they made Wolverine. It's like, you know what we're going to dedicate. You're only going to play as Wolverine in this game. And we're going to make combat really, really, really bland and really one note. And you're going to be pressing square the whole time. And there's no combos. It is, I don't know if I mentioned that. There's no combos or anything like that. It's literally just like square, square, square triangle. And does, like, man. Do you, are you, are you, is there an upgrade system, like, say now you can, oh, you said there's no combos, but like, so you don't get like, um, like say oh if you press square if you press square and then triangle that's like a like a like a hard
Starting point is 01:15:01 punish or not a punish but like you can do like um square square triangle then square square triangle is something like that at all uh so uh so no what you do is you square square triangle triangle basically breaks the combo so like there's always a candid animation for whatever triangle is at the end of a bunch of squares so it's like slash slash and then you triangle and it goes like that like I and that or no matter how many squares you do it's just like triangle will always do that what they do have is like I think you hold L2
Starting point is 01:15:32 and then the face buttons are special moves that are on a cool down that you have to unlock and equip but they're all like kind of weak and they don't really and the cool downs are long and they don't like all those abilities should be at the end of specific combos I think
Starting point is 01:15:47 you know what I mean like that's what that should be okay is there anything to decrease the cool downs like can you upgrade them I think probably there's like some there's like a perk system that you can I see I didn't I'm sure there's ways to do that it's so uninterested you're like it it wouldn't solve it would just it would because again those moves don't even feel particularly strong anyway you have a with claw comps move set and then a without claw moveset no that would be cool wouldn't it that would have that's what that's what that's what that's what it wouldn't it be cool if you could like kind of like do little combos like that wouldn't it be cool if you could grab somebody it? Yeah. You're kidding. Oh, well, that's, see that, that's so weird. How, okay, listen, I'm comparing it right now to God of War.
Starting point is 01:16:31 Which, by the way, you could do in X-Man Origins Wolverine. I think. I'm pretty sure. You could grab somebody. And I remember there was like a thing where you could throw them up in the air and then punch them across the, you do like a crazy punch. Or you could rip them in half. I'm thinking about 2005, the first God of War. To me, that's the standard. It's just like, if it's not, it can't be worse than that. Where you can get. grab the chains and multiple like they're can you can you pick up objects and fuck throw heral them at people can you do that at least uh no hmm no you can't i'm it sounds very fucking shallow like it sounds i'm telling you man it's incredible it is the most shallow thing it's crazy like it's shockingly shallow like it's more shallow i think genuinely than that that
Starting point is 01:17:21 wolverine game from forever ago and it's not to say that it's like the same level of quality but it's like it's fucking way closer than it should be. That's actually surprising to me. I have an idea, right? The way, the best way to make a Wolverine game, I think the best way to go about it would be like his combos lead to his brutality.
Starting point is 01:17:39 I think that's like the best way to deal with it. You start off fighting, obviously, and then the more higher up you get in your combo that turns into the point where you're just like ripping people apart. And that's like how it's incentivizes, oh, evading hits. Or you can power through hits and keep going. Or you should also, the fact you don't have a non-web, non-claw and a claw moves that is crazy. That's like, should obviously be a thing.
Starting point is 01:18:02 Like obviously claws do more damage. Non-claws are more for stunning people. Just to give you options. Yeah. Like, yeah, God of War is smart. Like, I like that that builds up your stun meter. Like when you just use the fist. That's how I think it should be always with like with weapons if someone has weapons and don't have weapons.
Starting point is 01:18:18 Like, all right, cool. This is more for stunning people. You can't play, you can't play Marvel's Wolverine in a way. that other people are not going to play it. It is very like there's no room for expression. There's no combos. There's no dynamic. And even like there's a mechanic too,
Starting point is 01:18:36 which was kind of disappointing to me a little bit, where like, because it's almost cool. Where like sometimes the hand ninjas will like shove a sword in you. And it'll be like sticking in you and it'll like decrease the, it'll put like a thing on your health bar
Starting point is 01:18:51 that's like you can't heal past this now, right? Okay. And so, like, you've got swords in you, but if you do like R2 and L2 or whatever, you can take the sword out of you and instant kill someone. But no matter how many swords you have in you, if you do it once, all the swords go away. So even just simple things like that where it's just like, oh, it would have been cool. Like, if you could like, yeah, to just be covered in swords and then just go like, you know what I mean? like even just even though that's shallow it's like it's at least something right even that is like no that would be too much fun I think it's like well I think to make a Wolverine game as
Starting point is 01:19:34 cool as it would have to be it would have to be you'd have to think one of so much because I think the cool thing over and you can use his brutality like if someone hurts him really bad you could you could like you could run yourself through a spike and then you guys both get gored by it or stuff like that or like he has spikes sword well this is what I'm saying You belly flop somebody. This is the annoying thing about the quick time events. Because, like, of all the characters that you could give, like, a character like Spider-Man, like, we talked about Spider-Man 3's quick-time events last episode of, like, how, like, on the 360 and PS3, how, like, how, like, they would give you these acrobatic quick-time events.
Starting point is 01:20:13 And if you failed, Spider-Man would, like, colossally fail. Like, he would, like, fall, hit his head. He would die, basically. Wolverine heals. So, like, you could have, like, really drastic failure, like fail states for those quick time events and still continue. You know what I mean? Like, you could, like, narratively, like, you wouldn't even have to animate like, oh, you failed. You did a failure animation.
Starting point is 01:20:39 Then you die. You have to restart the quick time event. No, you could keep the momentum going still, but have, like, consequences for failing in ways that you couldn't have for like Spider-Man. And it could lead to cool stuff happening. Like, cool moments. Yeah. Oh, that's insane. He survived that.
Starting point is 01:20:53 Even I thought it would be cool of like, wouldn't it be cool of like even just simple like if you just took a lot of damage, you'd eventually be like damn near a skeleton. Yeah. You know what I mean? Like there's so much missing from you that you're basically like a fucking Terminator or whatever. There's not even that. Yeah, I don't know. There's parts where they get close, but then it's just like, well. And it's only in cut scenes and stuff like that.
Starting point is 01:21:13 So it's just like, man, it is just a very weird. Like it's just fine. I don't remember anything about it already. you know outside outside of how much how little i just cared for what i was playing through it's it's it's it's it's a bummer that um you know it kind of like like i was saying at the the previous episode of like oh hopefully my expectations are so low i'm gonna really find it more enjoyable but it just damn it really seems like well i don't think that's going to happen unfortunately dang yeah that's it's it's man the only thing that i actually
Starting point is 01:21:49 I honestly, generally, the only thing I actually cared about, I was like, oh, I just want a really fluid combat system. Because if you're playing as Wolverine, you want to think, I'm thinking about like, I can think of a bunch of things. Just essentially I want to just rip off a bunch of the best hack and slasters and make Wolverine do stuff. But it's not that, unfortunately. That's the problem is like it doesn't even take the hat. It tries to skirt the line between like an action, adventure game and a hack and slash. And in doing that, it doesn't respect either side well, you know? is kind of a middle of the ground of both
Starting point is 01:22:20 not respecting either if you're gonna go hack and slash go full hack and slash we're gonna go action adventure like Spider-Man do that and give me like real cool moments of like him doing stuff
Starting point is 01:22:28 that's like particularly cool in action inventory and it's like Wolverine as a character doesn't bode well to the other way it doesn't really bowl well the best at action adventure
Starting point is 01:22:38 but they're not making it a hack and slash so it's like this is just kind of in the middle so it's fine kind of shows you that Marvel's X-Men would have been a better game. That is what I said.
Starting point is 01:22:52 That's what I said last week. I was like, yes. Probably. And then give Wolverine v. Hack and slash missions. Give the acrobatic missions to like, Kurt. Give the like wild skill destruction to stone, like, um, white or rock roller.
Starting point is 01:23:07 Kurt. It's Kurt. Oh my God. I mean a mistake. Give the, give the sciencey stuff where you have to like figure out things to be. No, you're, you're right. Stuff like that.
Starting point is 01:23:17 There's old. Men games like I had this one I can't even remember which one it was on Sega and you would just be like at the first person I think you fought was might have been Sabre too I can't remember it was too long ago but you got to play as night caller you got to you got to play as everyone and it was fucking cool and so I can't imagine how a modern day one like that would really because then it's impossible to get bored now because granted it'd be it'd be a little disjointed because of the nature it'd have to be levels like levels like go like very linearly
Starting point is 01:23:48 where it'd be like, oh, you're completely fine with that. But it would be cool if, like, at the end of the game, you're like using all of them. Sort of like how Guardians. Did you play Guardians, the modern one, Chris? I did. It was fun. Or you guys, you both played them? What do you mean?
Starting point is 01:24:00 The Guardians and the Galaxy game, the more recent one. I think it's a Sony game, technically. It's the square enix game. Yeah. That was way, that was way better than I thought it was going to be, man. Way better. It was a great video game. That was my only problem.
Starting point is 01:24:13 You're going to change characters. Sure, yeah. But it's, but it's, but it was still focused. I'll tell you this right now. Now, that Gardens of the Galaxy game is way better than whatever this will be. No, I imagine. It was really, really cool. It was probably like five bucks right now or something.
Starting point is 01:24:25 Yeah. Guys, if you can, please play that game. That game is really fucking good. It is really, really good. It's really fun. I don't give a shit. And by the way, there's like, it's a, it's not like a perfectly polished video game. There's like some jank in that game too.
Starting point is 01:24:40 But like, yeah, if, if, like, I don't care about Marvel really at all. And I, or the Guardians. Even though I like those movies, like. Well enough. Yeah. That game was really good. That game was really solid. I'm fucking retarded.
Starting point is 01:25:00 I wish I had more Nova love, man. I don't know what math is. I forgot my name. I'm fucking retarded. I'm also disabled. I need help to fucking breathe. I just. Yeah, I don't know, man.
Starting point is 01:25:31 It's a bummer. Especially just because, like, man, it's like, that was really their only thing, you know, for a, for a minute. The next one's like what? Spider-Man and a supernova, whatever it is. Yeah, they're supposedly working on a Venom game, too, but like I don't know man. Nah.
Starting point is 01:25:50 That's crazy. Derek, you walk in. Nah, you shut it all down. That's it. Unplug everything. Millions of dollars go. You start unplug it. You start going to every computer.
Starting point is 01:26:00 You start going factory reset and unplugging stuff. They just really, they really just lost a lot of charitable with this, unfortunately. I think if they make it of the Spider-Man game and it looks cool enough, they'll get their charitability back. I think the problem is that once Sony's ass right now.
Starting point is 01:26:17 Sony's dickhole. Yeah, that's kind of the issue. Like, I think if, if this was just like a normal studio and it wasn't connected to Sony, I think people would be a little bit more forgiving of them because, like,
Starting point is 01:26:27 insomniac, I mean, they generally hit. Like, they've got a pretty good hit rate. Mm-hmm. Nothing is like 10 out of 10, but nothing's like below an eight generally what they do.
Starting point is 01:26:37 It's like, it's, they do pretty well. Spider-Man, Spider-Man, Spider-Man, Spider-Man 2 is good. Sunset Overdrive was great.
Starting point is 01:26:46 Ratchet and Climb. people love. So like they've got a lot of love. It's just like they're connected to this company that like everybody wants to see fail for some good reasons some kind of immature reasons but like I mean like I get it. And so like they see that how much time it took and just like
Starting point is 01:27:01 these are the people that want to get rid of physical discs. Like these are the people these are the people that want to they want us to trust them with like the future of our library. They can't even make Wolverine better than it was in 2000 and fucking 10 or whatever that that's unbelievable. That Wolverine game came out.
Starting point is 01:27:16 It really, it sounds like an exaggeration. And the animation and fidelity and all that stuff is obviously way better than that original Wolverine game. But I would argue like, I would argue they're both as repetitive as each other. You know, like I don't think that like the old game is like that much worse. It's fucked up that you can't just say yourself right now that this Marvel's Wolverine, is objectively better than X-Men Ordens Wolverine. That's a fucking problem. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:27:51 Like, I don't know. I feel like it has to be, but like I can't say it objectively, though. That's what I mean. I can't say it for sure. I know X-Men origin and Wolverine has parts in it that, like, are tied to the movie. And the movie sucks. And those parts of the game suck as well. Like, I do remember that about it.
Starting point is 01:28:07 But like, it definitely is more like the combat's way better. Yeah. In the old game, I know that. That's a good. That should be your. next project uh go find um go find a copy of x-men origins will be yeah yeah i might that'd be a that'd be a fun i think i think i managed to get something like that running recently in like the last like year i think i tried and it worked for a while but then it crashed like i was
Starting point is 01:28:34 running an emulator i think i got through like the first the beginning um and it's i remember it being like this is repetitive but i remember thinking but i didn't get tired of it as quickly as i got tired of this. I will say that, which is crazy. Jordan just texted me right now. He said, I just heard the, that were the, I wanted him to pose, like, so I could, you know, put, edit him into the, that giant dick instead of Michael Jordan. And he said, uh, he said, if I wasn't at work, um, I would have, he said he said he would
Starting point is 01:29:09 have done it. It's like, he's like, he was completely complicit. And so. And I'm like, well, okay, then if you're not at work now, I'm going to plug and ask you to do it. So if you're not working now, send me a picture of your dick so I can put it in a video. His dick, I'm going to put his dick to blow his dick up and do it to his own penis. I like that. That's a good idea.
Starting point is 01:29:28 That should be a new Christmas card. I was going to, because I'm going to have my own secret merch store for the, you know, for the undesirables. We've been talking about it a couple of times. I'm going to do it one of these days. I just, you know, but that will be one of them. There's going to be a Jordan shirt that he can buy where he's cradling a giant penis. It's insane. It's such an intimate hug, too.
Starting point is 01:29:53 It's just such a like, that's like a hug of like love. Like you rest your, like I don't rest my head on people because I don't trust people like that. Crazy. Like him doing that means he really trust that. He trusts the penis. Now the question is, whose penis is that? It's got to, it's got to be Phil Spencer. I'm kidding.
Starting point is 01:30:14 That's crazy. What? Imagine he sees that image. He's like, how did? That's my dick. That's my dick. Imagine recognizing that on site. That would be quick.
Starting point is 01:30:25 I can recognize my penis on site. I don't. I don't know if I could necessarily. I have a birthmark on my penis. That's why. So that's why I can remember. Oh, I guess that would make it easier, I guess.
Starting point is 01:30:34 I don't have anything like that. But like if it's just isolated dick and balls, I was thinking I'm like, I don't know. I also have two heads. So like I clearly. Okay. Well, we're going to read. Well, you know what?
Starting point is 01:30:43 Patreon. It looks like Barnes fucking what to call a slingshot. Patreon.com slash the snark tank. You can go over there. You can go over there and ask questions. We're going to read some questions from our patrons over there now. Early access ad-free exclusive episodes, all that jazz. Well.
Starting point is 01:31:04 Well. You're going to say something? Well. Yeah, you're going to say something? You just pop a parke? What happened? No. Okay.
Starting point is 01:31:21 Cough to 360 and cleaned the blood out my toilet, Rodin. It's like, good. You should see somebody about that, by the way. If you're shit in blood, that's a bad news, bears, man. That's like bad news. It really depends on the color of the blood. I don't, I don't quite.
Starting point is 01:31:35 If it's very, if it's fresh red blood, that means that you probably just have us. You probably cut your asshole. Oh, that's true. Yeah. Dark blood. it's a fear you're fine if it's dark blood i think it's too late almost too i think like if it's really dark blood it's like ooh you should have been at the hospital already you're risky you're okay you go take take a week i stop checking because it always it would stress me out that's crazy
Starting point is 01:32:02 i like that's the live is nuts too whenever i'd see dark whenever i would see dark blood every single day i'd be like i'm just i'm not going to look anymore i can't see It's not there. You get up, you finish and you flush immediately. Mind over matter. He wrote in, he says, hey, every snarky. I copped a new 360 on Facebook marketplace and recommend any, oh, I think he means any recommendations for old games to dig through other than the obvious Red Dead Halo Rex from the show would be nice. Okay.
Starting point is 01:32:33 Anyways, if you could send anyone to Dagestan, your Dagestan for two years and forget who would it be. that's a UFC meme I don't know anything about that What's his name? Well, Khabib, All of them Habib,
Starting point is 01:32:50 Islam Mahashiv, which it is, I like that Islam is the Samdu can I say it all Islam is the champion Your name being Islam is crazy It is crazy That is insane
Starting point is 01:33:03 It's very God Although I guess Although I guess Christian is a name So Christian Islam And then you have The white Muslims are hilarious dude. It's my favorite. The Muslims are terrifying.
Starting point is 01:33:14 I like conquered Caucasians. It's awesome. They're scary. The Muslims came into to the Caucasus mountains and then fucking this is ours now. Now they're like this is ours. They're clearly Russian men. And they're like no mustache
Starting point is 01:33:30 is big beards though. And then they're like, ahmda-l-la. And I'm like I love it. I love the world is cool. I want to send my nephew to Dagestan, but I also don't I don't know what he's going to come back as, so maybe no. He'll come back as a champion. What do you mean? He'll come back
Starting point is 01:33:46 as like a wrestler beyond repair. Yeah. He'll come back as like it's a terrifyingly good wrestler. They're starting to figure out how to deal with that, but not at the level of like, say, still, Islam's still the champion, for example. Habib probably still would have been the champion, but he retired early. It's the way
Starting point is 01:34:04 they grapple people's crate. Like the way they put their hands on people bigger than that. insane. Something about being in that inbred Caucus Mountain shit, like you're like so primal. They're too strong. And I want some of that. I don't know if I get to drink their blood or something. What do I do?
Starting point is 01:34:21 If you take Sudanese people, right? You take a Sudanese person. Okay. And you drop them off there. Is he going to come back too strong? Probably. I want to take like, like, you know, so Francis is, where is he from again? Frans of God is from. No, no, he's not from Sudan. He's from. He's not? No, no, no. He's from. dang, it's more to the left.
Starting point is 01:34:43 Something with this Cameroon, I think he's Camero. That's what I meant. Okay. Okay, so okay, I understand. So if you took like a Francis and Ghana who like a Cameroonian and put him in the caucus, that's unfair. I think at some point you have to, it's kind of like there was the debate. Should Shaq be allowed in the NBA?
Starting point is 01:35:00 Because, you know, like, is he just too fucking large to be like, bro, it's not fair. Like, like Wimby is one of those things. you're at a certain point like there's weight classes in these combat sports but the only reason you allow people to have these freak attributes and non-combat sports because I guess you're not actively
Starting point is 01:35:19 punching people in the head but also it's almost not fair what's crazy is that what's crazy is that we like people that don't watch basketball they didn't see Shaq what like they a lot of people know about like fat like Shaq's lost out of way he's in good shape
Starting point is 01:35:35 now but like young Shaq was not only big and strong. He was way too fast for someone his size. Oh, he was supposed to play, essentially he was supposed to be a footballer. He was supposed to play American football. That's what his, he was so big and fast that he would have been primed
Starting point is 01:35:55 to be like a, like a, what are they called a tight end? I think he's big for a tight end too, but he would have probably done good at his thing. He's so fast. And he probably could develop hands. I don't think. He was never, he was never butterfingers in basketball.
Starting point is 01:36:09 Anyway, what was the first part of the question? I don't remember anymore. Xbox games. Oh, yeah, recommended. So we were just talking about, we were just talking about Wolverine. Yes, true. Oh, yeah, X-Men origins Wolverine. If you could find that, Web of Shadows is great.
Starting point is 01:36:24 I got that. For me, I got geometry awards. I got Backbreakers. What else is another great game. Army of 2 was a slapper. Army 2 was a force unleashed. Oh, wait, was that, was that on 360 or was that PlayStation? I think, I think so.
Starting point is 01:36:38 Bad company too? Yeah. I don't remember. I think so for sure. Yeah. The Tom Clancy game, whatever one, I forgot what you was Tom Clancy game
Starting point is 01:36:46 came out at that time. I don't know. One of the platinum hits. Which Tom, you have to be very, like, that's, you got to be way more specific than that.
Starting point is 01:36:54 Was it crazy? Was it convictions? Oh, Splinter Cell Conviction? Yes. I like Splo and Cell Conviction a lot. That new 007 game has a lot of shades of, oh shit.
Starting point is 01:37:04 I think, dude, there's a lot of games. That's a great game. And that's actually a great example of like, 007 First Light's a great example because like, bro, like, I don't care about X-Men really. Like, not because I hated it or anything.
Starting point is 01:37:17 I just never got around to it. Yeah. But when I finished Wolverine, I was like, I still kind of don't care about Ice Man. When I finished, um, 007, I was like, oh, this is pretty cool.
Starting point is 01:37:28 I didn't give a shit about James Bond at all. And then I finished that game. I was like, oh, James Bond's kind of sick. Hmm, interesting. That's the difference, man. It's just like, Okay, look at that. $55, man, go cheaper already. Oh, what is that for 007?
Starting point is 01:37:44 Yeah, you know, it's... Yeah, you could wait. They're not hurting from it. Another game. It's good, though. Get the NBA, NBA Street games. I know they're not. They're like, you might not be a basketball person.
Starting point is 01:37:56 Those games are so fun. Are they on the 360? I think so. I definitely play volume three on PS2. There might be their. there might be a version of it that you can play on that console. Because I know one and two were definitely not on PS. Yeah, because I even got three.
Starting point is 01:38:15 I remember they made Ballers to. Remember they made NBA Streets? Ballers. I never played that. I played ballers and I was on PS2. I was well, I'm pretty sure. So maybe you might not be able to get it. There might be a port. I never thought.
Starting point is 01:38:25 Yeah, I didn't think about that. There's also FIFA streets. That game's fun fucking game, dude. FIFA. NBA, NBA Street. Come to my house to play FIFA Streets, man. NBA Street home court is an arcade basketball video game developed. So that's the 361.
Starting point is 01:38:41 Okay. All the other ones were on the previous gen, I think. Dude, that era. Do you remember Biggs? Remember the British guy with the Tims on that had a long sleeve? All he could do is donkey couldn't shoot for his life. Yeah, that was your guy, right? You're inspired by him.
Starting point is 01:38:56 What does that mean? What do you mean? I'm not British. I'm not British. That's true. Blur. Blur is a really good. Have you seen that clip of a Green Lantern that's going viral?
Starting point is 01:39:07 Dude, where he slips up. Speak up. That's so good. What sucks is that his accent. It's completely American. What does he say? He says something right before it. I don't remember.
Starting point is 01:39:19 I'm only, who the fuck are you? Yeah. Who the fuck are you? Speak up. What's funny is that his accent, his accent's amazing, except for that one moment. And I know he knows.
Starting point is 01:39:31 Because he doesn't sound British at. all even like people like Daniel Kalua but you can tell he's British like there's moments where he kind of slips and he sounds a little British he's in the way he says words but he appeared it's so good in that one moment and I know he's in his house like come on but that's not even his fault that's the
Starting point is 01:39:49 freaking what's it called direct as shit's probably other cuts of that and the dude the HBO on Instagram themselves were fucking promoting that scene just to get it just to get in on it and everybody's just playing all this horrible British fucking rap behind it and stuff now
Starting point is 01:40:06 he's such a good actor too it's such a good show but that moment is silly honestly it kind of it made me so I I'm like I'm gonna wait for more episodes to come out yes but this made me want to watch it more I was like that that little Derek I cannot shit enough it's really good I've heard it's yeah I've heard it's amazing
Starting point is 01:40:26 from people from people who I don't even trust they're like oh man I'm I don't give a shit about the lantern core at all And they're like, this is amazing. I'm like, that's crazy because I feel like that it has to be that good because. And it's also far as far as the darkest night story as well, too. Like that's the, that's where it's ending up. It's probably not going to be the first season.
Starting point is 01:40:48 But the blackest night is referenced. And I'm like, this is the latest version. They're going to put some, they're going to have some zombie lanterns in this shit. That's going to be a movie thing. That's not going to be. You can't, you can't waste a moment like that for a show, unfortunately. Okay. Because all those niggas in.
Starting point is 01:41:04 involved. Yeah. I still hit fucking hot girl, man. I'm just saying you. You would fuck zombie hot girl? Yeah. Let me tell you something, dog. Yeah. Hold on, dog. Hold on. You know, you know, dog. Like, his dick is out. He turned the camera on with his dick. Did you imagine?
Starting point is 01:41:23 What's up, girl? Damn, dude. Zombie Shiaira, bro. Hey, crazy. Focus on it. Hey, baby. Come on. Come on. There it is. Zombie Shiaira, dude. That's pretty good. Crazy. You've seen a zombie with a nice ass would be a really bothersome feeling.
Starting point is 01:41:39 It is a, yeah, it is. Look at a zombie with a nice ass and you're like, man. A nice ass on a zombie is a conflicting feeling. That would be pretty crazy, right? You're like, oh, what's their son's name, Derek? Pissor. Razor? Razor. Razor, razor,
Starting point is 01:41:53 razor wing. Piss boy. Bitch. Oh, dude. You know what I would say, actually? It's a reason. Before we move on to the next, before you move on to the next thing. It's man Um Yo
Starting point is 01:42:05 Uh Fucking What is that game? L.A. Noir Oh that game is great That's a fun game I never
Starting point is 01:42:12 It's just profiling I love that game so much I've never actually I've never actually played it Because it's stuck on I think you can't I think there might be A port
Starting point is 01:42:23 Um I think there is on PS4 It's everywhere I feel like I don't remember But like I just I never got to write I never see it when I'm looking for shit to buy.
Starting point is 01:42:33 It has to be LPS for. I'm sure it is, but like, I think on 360 is probably a pretty good experience. Yeah. So, um, yeah. Maybe give that a shot. But yeah, I mean, if you want like weird stuff, that's not the obvious stuff,
Starting point is 01:42:47 then that's the kind of stuff. Oh, Donte's inferno. On Amazon right now. Ooh, good pull. Dante's Inferno is fun too. I'm just, it's a god of war. It's a god of war rip-off clone, but it's pretty good.
Starting point is 01:42:59 It's really fun, man. I really, like that game. I loved how you could, uh, like, there's, there's a mechanic in that game that's so fun, even though it's like really not that deep or anything, but like when you stun an enemy, you can choose to like save them or
Starting point is 01:43:14 damn them to hell. Yeah. And it is so hysterical that you just like, because arbitrarily sometimes I'll be like, I think I'll save you. It'll be merciful, but then most of the time I'm like, I'm fucking sending you straight to hell. If you damn people, what's you call? If you damn people, you get healing it's like that. You just got to, you got to get. If you exalt them, they get health, they get health usually.
Starting point is 01:43:32 You get your point system because you have like, you know, things that you want to upgrade. And so the more you damn, you can you can upgrade your scyth more. And then you have your cross and then the moves associated with that. You want to absolve people more. But there's usually like these, there's these regular dudes that you'll see. You want to do these like, you want to do the mini, there's the mini games to absolve. And it's fun. It's really fun.
Starting point is 01:43:58 Yeah. It's Graham and Cavish. Oh, yeah. Is fucking excellent. I just, I love his voice. He's one of my favorite British fucking voices where he just, uh,
Starting point is 01:44:08 I think he was Dracula and Netflix. And then, uh, no, no, no, no, no,
Starting point is 01:44:13 no, Castlevania. Oh, oh, yeah, yeah, like I love, I love,
Starting point is 01:44:18 I love, I love, I love how British he is, dude. Yeah. He's so British. He's got a great voice. That's a fun game.
Starting point is 01:44:26 That's a really fun game. That's a game. That's a game. Speaking of a game set are better than Wolverine, men. Dante's inferno, certainly. I like Donny's inferno because I love how over the top it
Starting point is 01:44:39 starts. Like the beginning of that game is in, it's God of War III level, maybe not quite as crazy. Not as crazy. Not quite, but it's like another. I don't remember being that. I just like of that game, you fight death and you beat the shit. You beat the shit out of him, Chris.
Starting point is 01:44:56 He whoop death and take his side. That's pretty fun, but it's not like. Like you kill him and death is trying, you beat up and you like you put the ax to him and he's trying to run away and then you grab him and you hold him to death and that's like bro do you know what you just did it's fun whoever designed that sithe is like that's a dope fucking sithe man it's so what a good way to you have you have one weapon and you're it it didn't get boring that's how i think too they did a good fucking of job weapons. I want one weapon.
Starting point is 01:45:30 Like I like modulating weapons. I think controls modulating a gun is like a genius weapon. Honestly. Oh yeah. It's cool. Yeah. And it's like it's a one weapon, but it transforms in as various things.
Starting point is 01:45:41 And that's still effectively having different weapons. But I like the idea of like morphing things, you know, like something that changes into something else. But God of War III, what I like God of War games, the original ones. But there's a lot of weapons.
Starting point is 01:45:56 and eventually you find the ones like these are my go-to weapons. I'm going to use these from more often than not. But when Silly just called for it, I'm obviously, I'm going to take on my head and prayer niggas in the stone. I'm a blind people and all stuff like that. And God of War III, you having like three or two, I guess, Ragnarok, you having three weapons feels really good because these three weapons kind of serve all purposes, you know,
Starting point is 01:46:18 and it kind of forced you to change them in a way that I really, really enjoy. God of War, the rituals do do that too, but I think it doesn't do it quite as well as the newer ones. It's really the magic is where it's at in the OG games Compared to like I do like really the the gauntlets in God of War III are the only one that would to me felt better than the the the blades of chaos because Just the animation and the sound. Oh, the sound. I'm like you really sound like you're hurting a motherfucker when you're using them was like dude that is crazy and when he takes them from Hercules and it's crazy rushes his concave's his face. He doinks him, dog, immediately instantly.
Starting point is 01:46:57 Oh, that is one of my favorite fucking scene. It's a three-second interaction. There is a scene where he's jumping. Like, and he's like, I need to put it on the screen, but he's like jumping and he's like stretched out and he's on this like platform. Hey, I'm going to try. And then, uh, and then he's just like bashing the platform down and traps him and then bashes his face.
Starting point is 01:47:20 And that whole sequence is, again, unfortunately, probably, that whole sequence is probably better than the Wolverine game. I haven't played it. It's better than Wolverine. Unfortunately. That should be this episode, better than Wolverine. Better than Wolverine. Oh, it should be things, things that are better than Wolverine or something like that.
Starting point is 01:47:41 And then it should be like something that's really terrible. It'll be a thumbnail with just like a bunch of nonsense on it. A bunch of random shit on it. It'll be like, what's like, what's like, what's like, what's, like, what's, One of them should be bloody stool. No. It should be like a picture of like I don't know, Superman 64, maybe like, uh, Conkers Bad Hair Day, fuck it. Maybe 9-11, I guess.
Starting point is 01:48:01 To the towers, okay. Yeah. He should be Superman flying into the towers. I think that's a good one. That's fucking absurd. Like him going like his little animation of the game and the towers are there. I did want to read this. Of course. Of course it fucking. Of course it reset.
Starting point is 01:48:20 That's so cool. That is so cool. I love. I didn't even press restart or anything. Spaghetti. Well, keep talking for a second. It's fucking a bit. I'm so disappointed with Sony.
Starting point is 01:48:35 Well, I'm disappointed with Sony, but I also just like, I mean, what do I expect? Yeah, I mean, do you care?
Starting point is 01:48:39 I'm a corporation. I've been trying to get out of my PS5 for a hot minute if I'm being honest. Get rid of it. Well, right, yeah, so just get rid of it.
Starting point is 01:48:47 I can't. My, really wants to play GCA. She really, really wants to play GCA. She's like, when is it coming off her PC? And I was like, like, next year. Like, like, next year, probably. She's like, no, we're not doing that.
Starting point is 01:49:02 Yeah. Yeah, no, I'm going to spoil it. I'm going to spoil everything for Lily. I'm going to tell her, like, everything that you can do. Well, the GCA? Yeah. That doesn't ruin anything for her. She's not that kind of person.
Starting point is 01:49:14 Because he's more of a sandbox person. Yeah, just like. Unless you can describe in detail and hyper detail. what happens every moment how she'll feel when she does it? That it's going to be like, oh, okay. All right. All right, I found it again. Israeli lesbians getting abortions for no reason, wrote it.
Starting point is 01:49:30 He says, Hey, Cock, Balls, and Vane. You all talked about AI last episode, and you all are too fantasy-brained. It's way dumber than that. First of all, we don't have anything close to AI beyond what you'd find in oblivion. We've experimented with AI and military applications by telling it to score points and killing enemies in the plane. And almost every simulation it changes its code to, consider toddlers enemy planes to score higher. Anytime they get hypothetical nukes, it always drops them.
Starting point is 01:49:58 We will never get to AI considering humans, considering humans useless. What a funny place to make a typo. That's a bot. That is a really funny. The bot trying to throw us off. We not going to hurt you. This sounds like an AI. Come outside.
Starting point is 01:50:18 Come outside. We ain't going to hurt you. I got to say, you know, what this person reminds me of is somebody before computers existed, probably talking about like the analog technology that we had and can't even conceptually imagine how crazy things can get with chips. They, this couldn't even. And now that what we have now, this person's basing things off of like, oh, well, this, this, your two fantasy brain. And I'm like, bro, did you see the rock AI generation that was happening just a few short years ago? And now seeing that for the average person, unfortunately, stuff is now being generated, that they can't tell whether it's real life or not. That's just a very small example of just what.
Starting point is 01:51:14 this can do in a short amount of time versus 20 years from now, where if you think about, say, 1950s versus 1970s and the leaps in technology then, now times that man, many, many, many, many times over. We can't even properly quantify that. And to think that there is some sort of, like, leash or something, like, I don't understand that line of thinking at all. It almost, it's, it's kind of, well, I, go ahead. I want to say just this. What we were talking about with AI was specifically, we were talking about something that someone said, and that someone was like a high position holder in Anthropic. So AI technology, like, these are not, like, what we were talking about was not, if you're calling us fantasy brain, like, that's fine. But then so are the people who are in the room who understand this technology way better than anybody.
Starting point is 01:52:10 Yeah. So, like, I don't know, like. Then you, sir. Yeah, like, so like I don't know Like maybe we're maybe it's 10% chance But to act like To think that you are more of an authority
Starting point is 01:52:22 Over those people That are saying there's there is greater than a 10% chance That this can cause human extinction And for you to wave that off is kind of insane All I'm gonna say is that for this is I think I think the human extinction problem comes from the way it will be used not so much what it is. But the thing is that to disregard the fact that these people are psychopaths
Starting point is 01:52:46 and they will use it for nefarious means, they will use it to corrupt people's information. They will use it to implant information on people that they deem as threats. Like all that stuff is going to happen. So I'm not a sky, I'm not a sky net fear person. I'm a these people suck and they. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:53:03 I'm saying. I think maybe that person's problem and I just want to piggyback real fast is maybe that person's problem is, and circling back to what we're talking about earlier nobody said that no one said there was going to be these robot fucking people taking over and literally actively shooting humans it could be something like just draining resources
Starting point is 01:53:24 there are so many we literally we literally didn't get into examples because you didn't need to because we don't know and so for you to automatically assume we're talking about some sort of fantasy scenario that's on you brother i think the thing is he's trying to reference is that like, oh, are they going to value or devalue human life? I think they're going to be like very analytic, like,
Starting point is 01:53:44 this numerical, like, sure. Yeah, we went into this whole thing last time. I just, I just want to make it clear that like, we're literally referencing like a firsthand source. Like these concerns, and it would be like if, if somebody from Insomniac came out and they were just like, hey, like, yeah, they don't really know what they're doing over there. Like, there's like all these.
Starting point is 01:54:07 And talking about all this insider. drama, right? Like, oh, Sony forces them to do this and and it would be like if you, if we talked about that guy talking about that and is if you were like, I think the situation in Somniac is being overblown. Yeah, I think it's miscommunication. Well, that guy would know more than any of us. So like I just, I don't, I don't, I just don't understand what the source of, um, I just kind of don't understand the argument really, but it's, yeah, thank you for writing in. Yeah, yeah, really. It's, it's, you know, no, no, no, no, no, no,
Starting point is 01:54:39 Yeah, I've just genuinely, like, I just don't know what you mean. Actually, no immense dissonompson. Amends disrespect. Yeah. I don't. Yeah, when smart people talk, I tend to, I want to take them seriously. It's, I want to take them. When Stephen Hawking, before he, you know, melted or whatever happened to him, you know, when he was suggesting that, you know, maybe it wouldn't be a good idea if aliens visited us because it would probably be catastrophic.
Starting point is 01:55:04 And it's like, logically, yes, logically by if, if, if, if. aliens are a species and they have the technology to go over here, they would not respect us at all. They have no reason to. It's the probable idea of the outcome would be they would either disrespect us in some way, maybe do whatever if they had any intent.
Starting point is 01:55:26 If they weren't just stopping by real quick just to see what's on. They'd just dip. They'd pull up, they'd be like, hell no, and they would get out of here. You would hope so, but they're just like, when humans just dip, because they didn't do that to other humans. You know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 01:55:37 Like, what do you mean? when humans discovered another continent, they subjugated these people and killed them. Yeah, but they're humans. But I agree, but you have to go by a lot. When it comes to something that's external from us, we can't go exactly by our logic. That's the thing. I understand it makes sense based on if they're similar to humans. So that's exactly.
Starting point is 01:55:58 That's why whatever you're saying is kind of like moot. What I'm saying, Stephen Hawking was suggesting that if there are species, anything like us, if they operate as if, because, you. you know, it might just be some things floating around. We can't even understand what they are. But if it's just like the way that we envision aliens come and visit, oh, man, first contact, probably going to be a bad time. Could you imagine?
Starting point is 01:56:19 Most like this weird, this weird glowing sphere and it forms a hand and it daps. I was like, actually, I had nutted to my hand later in its leaves. That's, you have alien coming. I guess it wouldn't be as mad that's alien jiz because I'm like, what even is this? Nuts on your hand. Your hand burns for three days. Well, then, yeah, not horrible.
Starting point is 01:56:38 horrible, but like really uncomfortable. It's irritated. Like really uncomfortable. Like I'm gonna get sunburn or something. Yeah. I know that I don't know that it's It's totally possible. It's mercury. Right? Their come is like Mercury or something. It really doesn't feel good. It's really fucking your hand up. You're like I just need to get this off and be quick.
Starting point is 01:56:57 And it's like it doesn't get off. It doesn't get off easy bro. It takes a few days. It's not going to kill you or nothing, but it's called sting. I do love that. Of like other like non-carbon base life. Like that's one of my favorite theories where it's like why do we have to assume that the aliens are going to be carbon-based? Yeah, that's the big thing. I love that thought. Like the first if they're not carbon-based, they're going to be really dangerous. Because if they're silicon-based, they're going to be hyper-strong, but they're not
Starting point is 01:57:20 going to be as tall. Like, the idea of Transformers could be real. Like, it's fucking crazy. No, but seriously. Transformers are too ridiculous, but I get what you mean. Like, on the other side of the universe, like, it doesn't even to be the other. So I could be literally in fucking the next adjacent galaxy, like, Andromeda or something. Something retarded could be over there. We just can't every alien's. Every alien is Dominican.
Starting point is 01:57:41 Every alien is the same as a Earth Dominican. And they're all telling each other that they're not black. Even there, even there where there's no black people but the ones that are them. And they're like, I know black. But there aren't black. Did you see by the way that the, what is it? How that Steam had that big achievement leak or whatever. There was like a huge leak of like a bunch of unreleased games and their achievement list.
Starting point is 01:58:08 like hundreds or something. And one of the games in the back end is called penis bird. Ooh. What's that game? I don't know. What is it about? I don't know.
Starting point is 01:58:20 We don't know because it's unannounced and we don't know what it is. But the name of the game is penis bird. It was like it was leaked a bunch of, along with a bunch of other stuff that's definitely real and a bunch of stuff that is unannounced but seems real. Can I not wish list it? No, it's the, I don't even think there's like a vertical for it yet.
Starting point is 01:58:36 Like that's what's so crazy. There's a lot of this. Is it real? It came out. Wait. It's going to, it's coming out on the second of October. Really? This shit is awesome.
Starting point is 01:58:53 Oh my God. There is a fucking penis bird feeding its penis kids. It's, it's a fucking. Is it an iceberg with penises? You know what? I don't know what I thought this was going to be. He's fine. But I feel.
Starting point is 01:59:07 But I feel. stupid for not obviously assuming that this is what it was going to be. Is there a penis iceberg? I'm so excited to see this. There is a condor fighting, a vulture fighting a big foot. I don't understand what's happening at all. But I'm on board.
Starting point is 01:59:22 I'm wishless of the fuck out of this. That's crazy. This is like a guy slop. Oh, no, don't tell me that. It's probably not, but like, well, no, there's definitely, go to the end. Go to the end of that trailer, bro. Like, there's like a fucking obvious AI.
Starting point is 01:59:38 I fucking, Bigfoot. There's a trailer, dude, and it's like at the end, you can just tell the way it's animated. Oh, no. Because I had a screenshot of it, but yeah, looking at the animation. The screenshot looks normal, but like the way it looks, what is it? Like, that's so clear. Oh, no, no. I got to unleash this.
Starting point is 01:59:57 Oh, man. I'm not going to play this. I'm not going to play penis burg. I was so excited. I like what it says. It says, similar to the games you've played, Broforce. I wonder if it says anything like that. Hey, Burrador's awesome, by the way.
Starting point is 02:00:18 More like this, geometry dash. Oh, there you go. Okay. I mean, penises are, you know, there's a lot of geometry to its, to its backyard baseball. Is there really? I mean, I guess there is it. Let's say there's no angles. There's maybe one angle.
Starting point is 02:00:36 Two possibly. Make an angle, okay? but there's no balls and penis bird is there no that would be balls that would be balls bird it has to be penis and ballsberg oh shit i haven't played this game in so long i didn't realize that they added so many other uh action characters they got uh the dude from desperado
Starting point is 02:00:54 uh they have zina and um mr t oh i think mr t was already added what game is about roforce i played the game a lot with joe when it first came out can i haven't played that shit and sounds about right yeah what like a decade or something been more than a decade for me. Yeah, that's what I lived in New York still. Wolverine's hair regenerating when he shaves are it in. Isn't that just normal?
Starting point is 02:01:17 Yeah, it wouldn't regenerate exactly because you have to grow back. Does that mean like you'll never get gray, I guess? Yeah, probably never get gray. Well, then isn't old man Logan?
Starting point is 02:01:28 Does this hair not grow? Old man Logan. I think he wouldn't grow technically. I don't know. Old man Logan is, since he's dying, his healing powers on working as well. Yeah,
Starting point is 02:01:38 weekends, yeah. Old Man Logan's Old Man Logan, duh. All right. I wish fucking Hulk was in Old Man Logan. He is. No, I'm talking about the Oh, sorry. Sorry, I meant the movie Logan. Yeah, that sounds rich. Because I said the actual title, Old Man Logan.
Starting point is 02:01:54 No, I mean, yeah. In the Logan movie. I think it wouldn't have fit at all. It wouldn't fit even a little bit. I'm just trying to shoe hoarding. They should put, it was cool. All of the serious tension would have been ruined by a big green. nigga. It picks up my rock and throws it to the sun. Well, go read old man, Logan, people, because that's all I can say.
Starting point is 02:02:15 Because you get two-hom into the movie. It makes no sense. It's a good. It's a good. It's a lot. So Wolverine's hair regenerating when he's reading. He says, greetings. You're a lover, Lily lover, and hasn't felt love since the summer of 2005. I've been listening to this podcast from the beginning. And bits from this show have infected my life. No, why'd you do that? And because. coming the joker have become staples of my lexicon.
Starting point is 02:02:41 Good stuff. My question is thus, what bits from the podcast have infected your life outside of the show? This is a weird question because I kind of feel like the things that... All of them come from outside, yeah. Yeah, the things that we say on the show come from outside. So it's kind of a reverse. It's like you're getting an infection from our lives, basically. Yeah.
Starting point is 02:02:59 Like the concussive come. That came from a joke. We had the way we said at Ben's house. Yeah. A lot of bits have come from things. things that we've said either in person off the show not necessarily a ton of them but like enough of them
Starting point is 02:03:15 like the white N word that joke is that joke we were a while with that we were a while over that one that joke happened organically in my house Chris I think Chris was back in New York but he came to stay with us and he stayed with us for like a week
Starting point is 02:03:32 and we were watching something I forgot what it was and we just developed the idea of like there being like a Like a town get together. Like it's like, oh, it's almost that time in a year again. And they bring out the white Edward and it's just, it's just Vin Diesel. He's like in a cage. And people are like, I can't hang out today.
Starting point is 02:03:53 I got to go see the white inward or my dad. It's a stupid. It was like a circus, like a fucking town event. Everyone's so happy. I love the idea of people casually talking about like, oh, damn. No, I got to see the white inward today. the white it's just like very casual it sounds good
Starting point is 02:04:12 but if they remove white from it they're like yo that's not cool don't say that but yeah one guy was like at least says the N word and you're like whoa whoa he's like no no you don't understand he pulls up with the ad for the phone it's like oh the white inward yeah oh the white N word okay gotcha yeah at the civic center how great
Starting point is 02:04:32 there's also the freaking the bugs money taking drugs and sitting down on the wall is like bugs. I don't feel good bugs. Yeah, like, I don't know. Like, but I don't, but I don't know if anything's like necessarily come from the show. You know what? Actually, maybe Kingston's dad for a little bit. We had people doing it for a little bit. Yeah, that's pretty cool. In our, in our real life.
Starting point is 02:04:53 That started for a little bit, yeah. Who did that? You were, we were taught, you literally, there's a clip of you talking about how people in our real life started doing that to you. I forgot who did it? Did I forget it already? That was when we were all hanging out more regularly. I would initiate it and then other people would. would like jump in. I'm not really doing that shit anymore.
Starting point is 02:05:09 This is like, all right. But. Yeah. I think more people should for a minute. More people should probably jump on the, the Joker thing. Because I think it just really makes sense. And I want people to really envision what I envision what I say like,
Starting point is 02:05:24 oh, like you're such a crazy moment you become the Joker. The movie Flashpoint Paradox. It really animated it so well. So basically, if you guys know that, you know, Thomas Wayne becomes Batman in this one. Bruce dies. Martha becomes the Joker. And her becoming the Joker is the perfect embodiment of that, you know, you're so distraught.
Starting point is 02:05:50 You become insane. Like, you become the Joker. That should is so sad. I think that storyline is really unfortunate because she's just broken. I love, dude. It's a broken mom. It is my favorite, like I would say this absolute Batman's fun. But like, I love that Thomas Wayne is.
Starting point is 02:06:07 such an awesome Batman. So he's awesome because he's just a psycho. Because he's doing the logical conclusion. He's doing a thing that like Batman's too pussy to do. Derek, Derek, Derek. Thomas Wave is a psychopath in that shit. He's like crazy, crazy. A necessary psychopath.
Starting point is 02:06:25 Derek, Derek, he sells drugs on purpose. He sells drugs to get drug dealers into his casino to kill them. That's insane. I'm trying to think bigger picture, bigger picture. Okay, sorry. Without him, do you think Flash Barry would have been tortured forever? Absolutely. And so if it was Bruce Wayne, he would have allowed that torture to continue because he was too pussy to shoot fucking Eobon in the fucking face.
Starting point is 02:06:54 You know what I'm saying? I think there is sometimes that shit is, I completely acknowledge that Thomas Wade to be a dirtbag. But he's necessary in that universe. Thomas Wayne is a monster in that universe But he's so entertaining because he's in It's so fun The intro when they show him beating up that criminal And throws him off the roof
Starting point is 02:07:18 And I'm like bro He you already won He already was down Dude DC was on such a run Some of their comedy Flashpoint was so good The anime movies are almost always good There's most of them are really good actually
Starting point is 02:07:32 Yeah and they But they finish that storyline, you know? They closed that storyline. And it's like, well, this sucks because I want more, but also like, yes, you have to close a storyline. You can't go forever. Modern comic books and One Piece. Think about all those things.
Starting point is 02:07:45 All those movies that they animated, like the comics are, like, D.C. for a while, which is they couldn't, for a while they couldn't miss. It was crazy. Like, there were so many good stories coming out of there. I was like, wow. And then I don't, I don't know what happened. Like, it's. You're talking about the comics?
Starting point is 02:08:04 Yeah, so, like, because the movies, you know, the comics first, and then they're trying to be animated movies. Like, I think DC Comics has hit more, as I'm more of a Marvel fan, I think DC Comics for the last, like, since 2020, I don't know, maybe since 20, like, 16, they've been on way better role than Marvel, if I'm being honest. I thought they're, I thought, way better. was doing way better in in the late 2000s.
Starting point is 02:08:33 I think they were doing great alongside Marvel. I think with shit like Civil War, secret invasion and like X-Mov's Avengers, I think they were comparable. I think Marvel had an edge. But then DC had the Green Lantern saga, which was just like peerlessly good. Pre-New 52 was so fucking like
Starting point is 02:08:55 just before the end of that run, that stretch, so much fucking just amazing shit that I would say get your hands on there's so many trades that you can just get your hands on the family I but I think the bet but I think it was held up by Greenlander like I think there was no you're right I think that's an extra core wars fucking yes obviously blackest night bright as gay
Starting point is 02:09:15 rebirth rebirth secret stories like all of those comics are just like oh this is way better than everything else in the room it's like it's like LeBron and D Wade on the court It's like, yeah, there's a bunch of basketball players here. Yeah. These two are different. Those two guys.
Starting point is 02:09:32 Wasn't even fair. Oh, you know what I forgot to mention? Yeah. What's that? Elephant Graveyard. New Elephant Graveyard video. Oh, fuck. It kept coming up with Mike.
Starting point is 02:09:42 I keep forgetting who that is. He's the guy who did the comedy, the Joe Rogan, the big Joe Rogan video. Yeah. It got like four million views. Yeah, it was like really stylized. And he's not on screen. He's a Canadian guy, right? I think so. Yes, he is.
Starting point is 02:09:59 In this video, he makes it very apparent for whatever reason. I don't know if it's a part of the bit or something. Yeah, he says sorry. He keeps saying sorry. He emphasizes it. And I'm like, I was like, what, why? Did you get a couple of comments of people saying you're Canadian or something? I don't understand why.
Starting point is 02:10:14 He's not Canadian and he's trying to throw the scent off. I thought about that two. He really goes in in that last episode. And in that freaking video he made about Joe Rogan, he really goes in on that nigga. Like he attacks his spirit. Like he was doing spirit damage.
Starting point is 02:10:31 Yeah, you got to watch this next one. You know, your hand goes white hot and you're attacking the core of your enemy? And you're like, this is damage to penetrate through the shield. Yeah. Like, if I was Joe, I would have, I would have done Kirk myself. That's fucking nuts. Watch the, yeah, watch, if you have time today, watch the elephant graveyard. I think it's like a little bit over an hour or something.
Starting point is 02:10:54 I can't remember. Yeah, watch it with Lily. Is it what she thinks. It's like hour and half. Yeah, hour and a half. It's good. It's good. It's really good. I liked it. It really kind of, I started posting on my that Rick Blackman YouTube channel I did because there was like a, I was, I was, remember I said I was going to do the social experiment.
Starting point is 02:11:11 Oh, yeah. I kind of forgot about it and I lost the login credentials a while ago when I switched PCs. And then I got everything back. So I posted a couple of videos on there. I'm a little annoyed because if I would have been consistent, I think it really would have worked because I saw like one video. I talked about Bill Burr. It got like 7,000 views. So I didn't even know that.
Starting point is 02:11:30 So it could have started building up if I took it seriously. But anyway, I posted a video about theorizing why Joe's doing all this shit. And I feel like this elephant graveyard video kind of validated my theory of just he didn't necessarily touch exactly what I was saying. But it's adjacent to just Joe Rogan just he just loves to be around rich, powerful freaks when, you know. and he used to criticize people that were like that, and he turned into that person. It's very weird. Yeah, he does a good job of like the Peter Thiel stuff in that,
Starting point is 02:12:04 in that video is quite. It's fucking. I mean, it's not that illuminating in the sense of like, if you know who Peter Thiel is, you know that he's a freak, but like the way that, the way that it's structured, it kind of puts a lot of things into context and,
Starting point is 02:12:18 I mean, Peter Thiel is a hyper sociopath. That's what it is. It's pretty good. I like how it recontextualizes, his Mincea thing as well. Because that's something that I felt was like what he did to Bobby was like, I can't believe that kind of like went under the radar
Starting point is 02:12:33 for his time. I never felt comfortable with that. Oh, Joe? Yeah, because Joe used to reinforce his point. He used Bobby Lee and is fucked up because Bobby Lee without Carlos Mincea, Bobby Lee would have gotten the opportunities that he got, essentially. And so he didn't want to throw him under the bus and he put him in an awkward situation and to where the Mincea family also tried to like strong arm him.
Starting point is 02:12:57 They secretly recorded him. Joe secretly recorded him and he threw it online. I saw the shit on Joe Rogan's YouTube channel. It might still be up there. He probably didn't even take it down. Because I saw all that shit way back in the day when YouTube was still pretty fun. Yeah. The Tony Hinchcliffe stuff was good.
Starting point is 02:13:18 I like that he just didn't even remember who Tom Seguro was. That was fucking crazy. I mean, he does. He didn't even make shit. That was crazy. That was the best joke. Yeah, it was my favorite part of it. He was like, so this bird and then someone named Tom.
Starting point is 02:13:35 I don't even remember who that is. He's just got to go. The disrespect. But it's a good video. Like shout at the 11 Graveyard. Like really, really. Just really great stuff. He's really fun.
Starting point is 02:13:50 I saw that video of the, the black dude with the name with the M or something we discussed last time. He made the Tony Hitchin video. Yeah. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. Yes, I saw at the very end of his video, he said he wants to make, like, a movie, and he was appealing to elephant graveyard.
Starting point is 02:14:05 And I thought it was interesting that he dropped, like, just, like, days after that. I was like, oh, interesting. I wonder if maybe they'll get in contact with each other. He doesn't seem like the type of person I would, though. No, he's not a collaborator. He seems like the kind of guy who just goes off and fucks around in the wilderness and then comes back with, like,
Starting point is 02:14:21 some crazy unhinged documentary every year. The fucker, yeah, it literally hasn't posted it over a year. I'm like, wow. I get it. That video was huge.
Starting point is 02:14:32 Yeah. And I love that. That's a lot of research, man. He, he also, I love that. It was like no shame, but also shade
Starting point is 02:14:42 at the people that are, you know, that are just milking. Like, he's like, I don't want to say this. I already said this. What do I say this time? Like he was kind of like,
Starting point is 02:14:50 I already said what needed to be said on Joe Rogan. Like how could I say something without feeling like I'm just repeating or just milking this talking point like which is our job essentially. And I was like to me I was like, goddamn, there's a fucking true artist right there because you have to. If you want, if you make it. Sorry, go ahead. Well, no. I was going to say there was a there was a bit of a, I don't know if it necessarily a shot. But like there was there was kind of, I'll just say it because I just think.
Starting point is 02:15:20 is the only word that I can think of. There was kind of a shot at like the too lazy to tries and the American Redacts. Yeah. And those guys. Yeah. Who they make stuff that I quite like. But he's talking about just like, man,
Starting point is 02:15:33 this is a bunch of vultures kind of picking, picking this bone clean. Focusing on everything they say. And really it's just kind of boring listening to them. I like that stuff. But like he's right. Like there's definitely, there's like a cottage industry based around them.
Starting point is 02:15:50 that. It's both. It's both, like, both things are true. Like, you can, you can enjoy that that, that's flop. You know, you can, you can enjoy it, but we also just admit that it is slop. Yeah. I like, I like the image of George Cassanza with the chips on his shoulder. Just barely, like with that barely engaged delivery. Yeah. He starts every video off saying, all right. That's the first thing he says. He always says, all right. All right. All right. So Joe Rogan's doing. Do some cunt started doing that in the MMA space in it. pissed me off. He literally was like he saw too lazy to try.
Starting point is 02:16:25 Started making thumbnails exactly the same way and he starts off every video saying all right and I literally, I don't comment very often negative comments. Usually it's something about the video but I was just like, dude, you're fucking gay. I download one of the video and I just was like, don't
Starting point is 02:16:40 recommend me this channel. Like that's so lame. It is really lame. Dude, I remember that like sometimes like back in the day, like you'd run into people like that every now and again. I knew a guy I won't say his name I'm sure maybe some people might remember
Starting point is 02:16:55 but like there's a dude who was like making videos and you could tell like he just completely like pretended to have my accent at a certain point I love that and I remember this very distinctly because there's old videos of him
Starting point is 02:17:10 not even that old really by like a couple months where he just sounds like a normal guy and then suddenly he like sounds like me and he's like emoting like me and the cameras that's kind of the same and he's doing the zooms and all I don't know the person. Could you drop a video in the chat if you can find that? Oh, sure. Yeah. I'll see if I can find it. It was kind of wild because I remember asking him. It's like, hey, what's, I don't mind necessarily, but like, what is this? What are you doing? It's just kind of weird. He was talking about. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Did he deny it? Did he say anything? I think so. I feel like I remember he denied it. And then he dapped you up and he had come in his hands. Because I think he said like, oh, well, my best friend is that. Like he's New Yorker. He's a New Yorker as well. It's just like, well, first of all, it's not really a. it's not a real New York accent that I'm doing
Starting point is 02:17:52 it's completely fake like my real New York accent is like a lot more understated right that's like a fucking caricature that that voice right so like the fact that you're trying to argue that somebody that you know sounds like that's like I know you're lying because nobody sounds like that and if they did they would be like 70 years old
Starting point is 02:18:09 people on the streets just all animated as fuck yeah and by the way it's like there's no beef with this guy or anything it's just like I just remember specifically it was just like oh weird this is like a strange this is a strange experience that was the first time I'd ever felt that was the first time I'd ever experienced that
Starting point is 02:18:26 where somebody was like outright copying me in a way that I felt was like obvious not like because I remember some people would be like oh this person does zooms or whatever and they're ripping Chris off it's like I don't own zooms guys but but it was the voice it was like the cadence it was like kind of everything I was like this is kind of weird yeah
Starting point is 02:18:44 I'll see if I can find it later I have no hope of remembering like what exact video these were was his name bussy boy or something ever I don't I don't know bitch bitch boy I genuinely don't even remember this name is Christian
Starting point is 02:19:00 Raymond Goon Gay Gay Christ All right let me Christ Roy Goon I like that one
Starting point is 02:19:10 Christ Roy Goon That's pretty that's pretty awful I wonder If it's not If it doesn't exist I'm I'm gonna claim that username on a on on on YouTube what is Christ questions are strange
Starting point is 02:19:25 Roy goon oh okay what's we'll do this and then we'll we'll bounce why Derek so defensive in arguments Boner wrote in he says hey heteroes when you guys bring up a movie you love it's usually with the disclaimer that it's a stupid movie or you just grow up with it and you understand it's not high art do you guys love any movie you'd consider genuinely high art one or two that's it's like deep and has layers and shit. Yeah. I have a few.
Starting point is 02:19:54 Yeah. You guys go. I have to think a little bit. I mean, I've talked about, when he says high art, I don't know if he just means like high quality or if it's like, because I guess that's subjective, but I would consider one of my favorite movies is Life a Pie.
Starting point is 02:20:10 And I think that is an amazing film. I think it was like everything about it visually, the story. itself. There's also some discussions that can be made within it if you want to go on that fucking hipster ass arc. I think it's kind of pretty selfish status story.
Starting point is 02:20:30 Richard Parker. Which, did you know, I just found out who Richard Parker is. I didn't even that was a thing like, that's Peter Parker's dad. Well, well, that's not what I mean. Oh, okay. My bad. Sorry.
Starting point is 02:20:47 Okay. There's a real life Richard Parker. I did, I didn't understand that reference. I didn't even, I didn't even understand that that was a reference until I was watching a history video about, um, pirates and, and, and, um, and stuff like that. I was watching like something and then they started talking about Richard Parker and I was like, oh, that's why his name is Richard Parker. Fuck. That's crazy. That complete went over my head. Oh, man. I thought he was naming by the Peter Parker's dad and I was like, that's why he didn't know that's actually what it is. That's why his dad went missing. It all makes sense now. All of you are stupid. This is this tiger is spiked.
Starting point is 02:21:20 That's what I thought, but I guess I'm wrong. Sorry. Oh, my bad, y'all. It's an allegory for a loss, you idiot. It's, so for me, there's a, I think Donnie Darko is a really high concept movie, but people don't. It's about teens. So by nature, it's silly because it's about teenagers. But I think that's a high concept movie.
Starting point is 02:21:42 I don't watch it again to have a real opinion on it. I saw it. It's a good movie, dude. And I was like, this is okay. It's a good movie. Also, another movie. movie I love is Shawshank
Starting point is 02:21:53 Shawshank's the goat fucking fantastic film Top five Also one Fuzakuckoo's Nest Another fucking great movie Oh yeah I never actually watch that Just movies
Starting point is 02:22:06 Movies about stuff As I've gotten older And I've gotten more like Like lovey as a person I think movies that are just about About not forgetting How strong love is Have become like things I really really enjoy
Starting point is 02:22:19 Yeah you know it's fair you know it's underrated annihilation y'all should watch that shit I never got around that one that's fucking I love that movie I love that movie and any time I think about it unfortunately makes me think about the dumb SJW era of stuff
Starting point is 02:22:38 because I was mad that I'm like imagine instead of propping up 2016 Ghostbusters and propping up like annihilation or something like that where it's literally, you know, it's, it's, here's a movie of a bunch of women that are killing it in a fucking fantastically written story because he knows a good book. And then just not even talking about it. Like, what do you fucking smoke?
Starting point is 02:23:02 Like, what do you want drugs? Like it's literally sounds like that's all like when I talk about the faux activism thing. I'm like, y'all don't even give a fuck. You don't care. She really bothers me, man. It bothers me. That's the, that's the biggest problem. And that's why we lost so much ground as a people.
Starting point is 02:23:17 because he had a bunch of people that did not really care about making people's lives better. He's cared about point fingers in making money. And look where we are now. Those people are really losing their rights now. Awesome. I'm glad you guys care. I'm glad you guys had a good time, dude. And there are some of them that I actually, like, I have respect for.
Starting point is 02:23:33 Like some of the people that were involved in that sphere that I actually have for doing respect for. Some real things that are still making content like because they were real. You know, they were like, oh, I'm actually interested in this stuff. You guys may not be a fan of a few of them, but a few of them I actually have a great, great deal of respect for. I respect the ones that weren't. pieces of shit. Yeah, I get it. It's really that. One was the piece of shit to Chris. One was a bit a bit shitty to Chris, but I'm a big fan of them actually. I don't like what you mean? Cat Black. I'm a fan of Cat Black. I don't like her. I don't like her. I don't like her. I'm a fan of her
Starting point is 02:24:02 but I'm only a fan of her and reference store stuff about black studies. I think she's not a good person. I'll watch people. I think her statements about blackness are are like I'm not I think there's no shortage of people you could watch. That's true. That's basically my issue. That's true. She's not She doesn't have a sub for me. She's not a guy for me. Some of the things she does say in her clips, she say, I can respect.
Starting point is 02:24:20 That's my, that's my issue. I'm like, I'm like, I don't like propping up people who I think are fucking like assholes. Like destiny was one of those people. Destiny,
Starting point is 02:24:27 where back in the day would make a lot of progressive arguments and a lot of points that made sense, especially when he was railing against, um, uh, white nationalism and all that stuff. But I hated him as a person.
Starting point is 02:24:36 I was like, this guy fucking sucks. Fuck him. And yeah, it's so much more validated today. Because holy shit, he's way worse than I ever could have imagined. Dude, talk about set the house on fire, brother.
Starting point is 02:24:47 Holy shit. I just couldn't even have conceptualized how weird some of these people are in these spaces. It's just like, what the fuck, dude? You don't think people that get online that, you don't think people that put themselves in front of screens over and over again. Some of them are crazy. That was my mistake because it was my mistake, but just not necessarily understanding how weird some people are when they're not, like they're hiding their power level. That was my mistake of thinking that a lot of people, I was taking. them at face value.
Starting point is 02:25:15 And I'm like, you seem fine. And then you would kind of get those, the breaks and character like, oh, you're insane. So I didn't, my guard wasn't up in a way that I was like, oh, there's a lot of freaks doing this shit. For me, it's streamers, man. For me, it's streamers. I have, my radar goes off ping immediately soon as someone like,
Starting point is 02:25:38 they're streamers. I know there are some of them that are like decent people, but I think the nature of streaming. don't you stream sir i do stream but i try to separate the pair of socialness i try to well you're not a streamer you just stream yeah i try to i try to just try how it's it's like it's like how like i i wouldn't consider myself a guitar same same but i say but i play guitar you're more of a guitar i am and and that's still i still understand what you're saying that's crazy i think you're way more of a guitarist.
Starting point is 02:26:07 I'm going to say this really quick. I think you're gay. Okay, sorry. The basis of being a guitarist is being able to have your way around tuning a guitar to standard tuning like E-standard and being able to play some competent songs. That is not me, sir. I can't. I can play a couple of things that I've just known historically.
Starting point is 02:26:31 But I am the basics of the good. if someone asked me, and this has happened before, to teach him out to play guitar, I think, I can't. I am a fucking metal musician. I've done that before. Like, I've had people ask me. And I'm like, I don't know how to explain this to you because I learned this by ear incorrectly, certainly. So like, there's no shot that I could teach you out of it.
Starting point is 02:26:52 Like, there's no value that I have. Okay. Go talk to a real person. Dude, when I play with a, what's, um, um, um, Lyle. Lyle's unreal. It feels. He's real. I've jammed with him a couple of times and I feel so inadequate because he can play, he understands the guitar.
Starting point is 02:27:12 He legitimately understands it. And I'm like, jam, I'm like, let me down to this thing and play like a fucking, you know, like a caveman. Because you know what it feels like it feels like like a, like, I never experienced this, but I know it's like a big trope and like in just like media and shit like that. but like it's it's like when you got like a sibling and they're playing they're holding the second controller but it's not plugged in that's what it feels like playing like playing guitar with lyle i'm like i'm literally a fucking i'm joe rogan right now i'm literally a fucking idiot i'm just like he's really good a guitar dude like i i i've seen him play guitar and i'm like he's he's a guitar he's a guitar he's absolutely we play guitar yes um it's like how kingston kingston's not a rapist he's simply raped.
Starting point is 02:28:03 Like I've been raped or like. Whatever you want to take from that. I don't think I've. I can say I can say confidently. He says he doesn't. I can be a little bit more possible. That's why. That's why revision.
Starting point is 02:28:16 That's why revision that happened. You don't know to do that. Right. Are we not allowed to. I respect the lack of pushback. We're not allowed to revise. The lack of pushback is kind of wild. Are we not allowed to revise nowadays?
Starting point is 02:28:26 We are allowed to revise. Okay. Allow this revision. Live your truth. I am not a misogynist, but I've massaged. I love that as a statement. It's like if you've ever said that at any point is so suspect, I am not a rapist. It's so, it is so insane to say.
Starting point is 02:28:52 Dude, you know what's crazy? All of those jokes about the, about rape mob and. Oh my God. After the fucking. Those are all jokes that you really can't tell. Yeah, those are jokes that are. We're not going to get into it. On the podcast.
Starting point is 02:29:09 I told Lily those jokes and I tried to give her a kiss and she pushed me away for real. Like she shoved me away from her. Yeah, because it's not funny. It's literally just shocked shit. At least my. It's mad funny. What do you mean? This is how I know that me and Jojo are really great for each other because she finds that dog shit stuff funny too.
Starting point is 02:29:29 Lily does not. She did not find that funny. She was like, dude, you're just saying a horrible phrase. Dude, she's more immature than me sometimes. Like sometimes I'm just watching, we're watching a normal movie. And like, we watched that, I said that Korean movie about the,
Starting point is 02:29:44 the hive zombies or whatever, the hive mind zombies or whatever. And which one? It just came out. Yeah, is in the theater. Hope? No, no, no. Not Hope.
Starting point is 02:29:53 We're actually going to see that on this weekend. This was called something like, like not contagion, but it's something like that. it's a hive mind thing it's like a thing and then humans have a hive mind and they become like zombies whatever they they communicate with each other through like hive mind stuff and they have like this this white goo on them at a certain point and when they start they do this hemorrhaging thing with they communicate with each other and we're dying because they just look like they're busted all over each other they're like and there's like cuck and jizz all over them it just looks like they're coming everywhere and i was like i am My brain, God, will you calm? Like, you know, because I'm seeing normal people. Sounds like high art.
Starting point is 02:30:33 It's pretty amazing. At a certain point, I almost feel like, is this person immature as me? Are the people making this, they actually think it's funny too. Maybe. Someone noticed. I hope so. Because sometimes I think about it.
Starting point is 02:30:48 I'm like, listen, she's looking at me. And then I'm retroactively, I'm like, why is she looking at me in the theater right now? and rationactively I'm like, oh, you thought like her brain catches everything that can be considered immature. And I'm like, that is hilarious. And it's worse than me, which is saying a lot. For me, I showed Lily about what to call ape and fit. And she was, she was like, yo, dude, I showed her that.
Starting point is 02:31:14 And her face lit up, then stopped on a dime. She was like, that's not funny. That's not funny. Like you just cycle through the dialogue real fast. you're just skipping scenes I'm like it's not funny I'm like it's not Lily look at him I'm like Lily give him a look
Starting point is 02:31:35 give him a look Lily come on if you saw him behind him if you saw him behind Dura glass you wouldn't be confused at first and then you'd be like oh the only reason you would be when he starts walking completely upright you'd be like oh he probably doesn't belong there
Starting point is 02:31:51 until then you'd be like okay I hope is so crazy So I want homeless fan to get all of this shit together and send it to him. I'm not going to stop disrespecting this piece of shit. You can't change it. I don't care. I mean, I ain't going to stop you either.
Starting point is 02:32:09 It's not like I like the guy. I just, you know, I don't even know who this person is. You've seen him before and you've definitely been like, oh. I can't. If you showed me a picture of him again out of context of this, like if somebody just ran,
Starting point is 02:32:24 if somebody on the street showed me a picture of that guy, Like why you will show me a picture of Mighty Jo-Yo? That's what you would say. You would say that exactly. We're just going to read the fucking names. Yeah, why not? I don't know. There is no high art.
Starting point is 02:32:38 I have no answer. I genuinely don't know, honestly. Like, I don't, I don't think about movies in that way necessarily. Like, there's a lot of things about movies that I consider high art. But I don't know if like, like, what is high art? Like, are you talking about like Holy Mountain? Like a pretentious thing? It's hard.
Starting point is 02:32:57 I need that person to elaborate. I would say high art is just art is just, it's just art that has a deeper meaning behind it. I guess, elevated meaning. I guess quality is that. I mean, I love, like I think, I think in Glorious Bastards is an amazing movie. I love it. That first 20 minutes alone, that first 20 minutes of that movie, I think it's just high art. Like it's just like that, those performances, that tension is incredible.
Starting point is 02:33:23 I think. It's like, high also kind of insinuates art that. meant to be viewed as art better than itself. Like the idea, like how you know, like high fashion is meant to be like, oh, this is fashion at another level, opposed to it being like, oh, this is just people just wearing nice clothing. I don't, in that sense, like, I really think I only feel that way. So like incredibly experimental. I think I really only feel that way.
Starting point is 02:33:47 Maybe. I wouldn't listen. I would say experimental. I really only feel that way about games, really that I've played. Like I feel that way more about more games than movies that I've watched. like I think like Allenway 2 is like that's a high art that's a high art game I think I think there are metal gear games that are high art like genuinely like I think it's just like it's so ins and not in low way like oh it's so stupid that it's cool but it's like no it's just like it's really committed and really like no person not a lot of people would think to do this this way like when I see when I see a game like Wolverine I'm like a lot of people would have thought to do this this way it's not it's not it's not inventive or or pushing any envelopes. You know what I mean? It's like that kind of thing. Yeah, it's like safe and kind of uninteresting. I think remedy does a lot of high art. I think you could argue that
Starting point is 02:34:37 although I don't like the way Last of Us Two goes, I think you could make a pretty good case that that's kind of a level of high art, like the way it's the way it's done and just how clearly like net like the thing that they think about that game a lot is like there's a scene where their like characters are sleeping in a bed and they and they put like the covers over them. And I, and it stuck out to me because I was just like, damn, that's, that's wild because like no get, even still to this day, video games don't do that because cloths like cloths. Like cloth is so difficult. Yeah. Like it's always, it's always, it's always funny to me like in video games.
Starting point is 02:35:09 Like people go to bed and shit. Like they lay on the bed in their full clothes like no cover because it's just like, ah, we're not going to figure this out. Yeah. And in that game, they figure it out. Yeah. And so there's, but like, I don't know. I think it's, I think I need a bigger clarification on what you mean. by high art.
Starting point is 02:35:25 Yeah. Answer that question. I really think, I think high art for even on. I think blue velvet. I think blue velvet is high art. Probably think about some, a lot of Oscar nominated films.
Starting point is 02:35:35 I think a lot of people would probably put that. There's a lot of artsy shit. And then there's also, you know, obviously some certain like film festivals. Like, oh, look in here.
Starting point is 02:35:44 And you know, like midsummer's a high art movie. That's the best one I can think of. Like, it's a high art movie technically. I have, I know. I don't love it.
Starting point is 02:35:53 I'm very aware of it. I'm very aware of it. it and I know it's made by the same people that made hereditary, right? So I know that's like the vibe that they go for. I don't know if that immediately makes it high art just because you're pretending it is. I don't know the like what are the what are the standards like do people decide then. Do people decide it's high art or do like I kind of I think so. Because like it's because I'm assuming high art is like for me the aesthetic is like people that go to a gallery and people would inspect and observe it.
Starting point is 02:36:21 So film festival stuff that is meant and made. in the most serious sense is technically high art because you can't make comedic high art. Like is the whale high art? I think it's meant to be. I think it's meant to be. Yeah, I definitely think it's meant to be as well. I think that movie's amazing.
Starting point is 02:36:36 Especially ending. The ending undercuts it a little bit. I think the ending is what genuinely makes it higher. Because without it, I think he's floating because he's actively floating. That's why it's higher. Because it almost feels like you got to like, whenever there's these high art films
Starting point is 02:36:49 or there's something like that, they're either just so, hopelessly grounded to where I'm like, okay, that was a movie. Or there has to be something in there that you're not going to understand this. This is, you know, this is a very esoteric. And I'm like, you're gay. Yeah. It's like highbrow comedy, right?
Starting point is 02:37:08 Like highbrow comedy, right? What is highbrow comedy exactly? Whatever it is. I'm sure I'm not into it. Highbrow comedy is. Is it racism now? Is it just racism and transphobia, I guess? I'm the high art.
Starting point is 02:37:19 High art comedy is interesting because like high, it's got to be. Like high comedy. Yeah. sure. I would say just people that honestly, is it just everything that's above like just like low brow toilet shit? I don't know.
Starting point is 02:37:34 It says right now that high art is art made when you're high. That's not helpful. That's not real. That's funny. I don't know. That's true. There's just the work of lasting culture value and that requires
Starting point is 02:37:50 intellectual engagement, specialized training and deeper into the interpretation to fully accept. I didn't hear a single fucking thing you said. We're going to read the name. You are the worst. You are the worst.
Starting point is 02:38:05 Yeah, I guess. I don't know. Versus lower. Low art focuses on mass appeal. I'll say this. There's a lot of higher movies. And then a media accessibility. Okay.
Starting point is 02:38:13 There's a lot of high art movies that I've seen or movies that I think qualify in that realm where I'm like, I don't like this as much as Spider-Man too. even in the ways that I meant to like those movies, by the way. Like in the sense of like, does this have an emotional core that I connect with? Like genuine, like not as much as Spider-Man 2 genuinely. Well, I think the thing about Spider-Man 2 is that for you particular, you are a person that like stylized things.
Starting point is 02:38:39 You are a fan of stylization. Sure, but like I don't even think it's that. I think the actually team. Spider-R2 is extremely stylized. There's, I don't disagree necessarily, but it's not like, I don't know, it's not like twin peaks or something. You know what I mean? Like, it's not stylized in that way. Right.
Starting point is 02:38:54 Not in that direction for sure. I think genuinely, my favorite parts of that movie as I grow older is like, like the scenes with Aunt May and like when I was a child, it would have been like the train scene. Yeah. But like now it's like it's really not any of that stuff. Like that's, I think now that's like my least favorite stuff in that movie. I think the best moment in that movie is the moment with Aunt May or the moment the beginning of the movie. Like I think those are the two best parts of the movie because obviously Aunt May. part is very hopeful and like the idea of a person coming to someone like is this love being
Starting point is 02:39:27 shown from one person to another is really beautiful yeah uh the beginning of that movie's crazy it's just the beginning of that movie just insane so that's why it's so good to me but like blade runner 2049 is a high art movie i agree with that so is the arrival i think there's like there's drive yes movies um there's also scenes like i feel like where some people will be like look what i can do. There's two scenes that come to mind with V from Vendetta. There's like a little mini film. Yeah, that one's right there. Literally, the one I just
Starting point is 02:39:57 looked at. You said that? No, the moment, like you said Viva Vendetta and I scrolled down it was right there. Oh, it's right there? Oh, that's funny. Yeah, like that is, that's high art. Like, and it's actually a fantastic. It's like, this movie's fucking stupid. I love it, by the way. This movie's fucking stupid. And then that section, that segment is
Starting point is 02:40:14 brilliant. I was like, what the fuck? This is amazing. It's kind of just, I almost like, flexing. And gladiator. I think it's genuinely fantastic. I think genuinely. That's probably my, it's one or two of my favorite film. I don't,
Starting point is 02:40:27 I always interchangeable, but it's one, it's like, it's in my top three. Oh, dude, the fucking X-Men is it first class? I don't remember which one it is where,
Starting point is 02:40:37 when, uh, Quicksilver, when he's doing his whole, um, his whole, um, fucking having sex in a bottle or yeah.
Starting point is 02:40:44 Like that is, you're like, let me flex on you guys and kind of show you, what I could do. I may put this song over it. You're setting that kind of that artsy fartsy shit. And I'm like, I fuck with that.
Starting point is 02:40:56 But is that more stylization or is it that more of art? It's definitely stylization, but it's also, it's the whole tone of it doesn't even necessarily fit in that film at all. At all actually. Of course, that's like one of the most fucking high art films ever.
Starting point is 02:41:10 Which one? Space Odyssey, 2001. Oh, yeah. Yeah. That movie's entirely fucking higher. And I feel like it a lot of,
Starting point is 02:41:18 I like the movie a lot. The more high artsy things. things get, I do think there is a crossover of people forcing to like, they're pretending to like shit. I think, oh, yes. Oh, yes. So much of that. Dude, when I've gone to, oh, sorry, go ahead. Well, I was going to say, like, I think, I think there's more, I genuinely think there's more enjoyable high art video games than there is high art movies. Oh, yeah. I, I'm not even kidding. I agree. Like, I think, like, games like Shadow the Colossus and like Metal Gear and like these, like, weird, um, even just like indie games that are like really like high art, I think.
Starting point is 02:41:49 I just, I don't know. I think video games in general artists by their nature kind of high art if they're cared about at all. Best forms of art. You know? Yeah. Literally all forms of art like merged into one fucking incredible. I think video games are, I think video games are like a special,
Starting point is 02:42:04 like I, I love reading. That's like my like preferred form of like reading or music. But like I think video games are just unbelievable. Like the way that they express everything. Well, dude, there's video games with that. It just can't.
Starting point is 02:42:19 But then there's video games with like codexes and like. Exactly. Like the fact that you can sit in Skyrim and read books is crazy. About the world. Yeah, dude. I learned to read well by playing JRP's back in the day. Because there's so much fucking reading. It literally pulls from all of that stuff.
Starting point is 02:42:38 You know, like every other kind of form of media video games used to make them themselves. You know, like when you were making a video game, you have to write lore for a video game more often than not. So you have to create a world. you know you have to have themes you have to have particularly good voice acting you have to it's it's there's so much even in photography like I there's so much reading in
Starting point is 02:43:00 control and like all these other games like it's these are dense things that not only are conceptually really cool because you have to be you have to be interesting if you're going to make something that you're going to be like playing but they're also just fun
Starting point is 02:43:16 yeah video games are really, they're really unbelievable medium, man. Yeah, they're kind of, I feel bad for people, I feel bad for people who don't get it, like, genuinely. I think it's like, you're missing out on such, such cool shit. Like, Red Dead Redemption 2, like, by itself as a narrative. It's just like, this is like, this is better than a lot of the TV shows that I see is often cited. As like, you know, groundbreaking television. Like, dude, like, this is.
Starting point is 02:43:41 Feedo games are just better specifically because they can breathe. they can there's so much like the idea first of all movies why why movies suck compared to like say a series versus a fucking video game you know keep getting better and better it's so confined in such a small space that there's not enough time to really do anything to explore anything and versus a video game is the ultimate form of that where there's just so much more time even in a dumb fucking modern warfare game there's more time to explore these characters like i care more about ghost and soap and all this shit Then fucking is somebody just making an army movie where I'm like, I spit no time with this asshole at all. It's something special about like even for me like my like I when like the rest of a show is good. It is a good show and it's a pretty decent application. But playing last of us, there's something particular about that experience. There are people like, oh, you can watch them not play the game. It's like you can get the gist of it.
Starting point is 02:44:39 But inhabiting it and going through it controlling it is something special. I don't even love those games. but like watching the show like I watched that that show and I was like oh I appreciate the games a lot more now actually yeah because you're living it you're doing it you know like it's it's something special that's why I always I always say like I really I think because of me because I have an overactive imagination I love reading I love being able to create the scene myself and whatever sort of art style I can design it in but playing games is special it is it is a really interesting way for you to be able to see and convey the world and like Like, see, that's why I always, I always say that, like, I prefer anything fantastical to be done animated. Because animated can make things, it can draw a picture in a way you can never think of or just in your brain, you know? Like those things are, and in video games, yeah, let them collide, you know? I think the idea is like emotion, right?
Starting point is 02:45:36 Like, and I think about like, I think about, dude, I think about fucking destiny raids or I just think about like the, the feeling that I got is like, that's high art. in my opinion like the feeling that I got from doing this is like really like especially that first one like at first that first like vault a glass raid was like really magical in like a way that's like really kind of difficult to describe. Dude King's Fall is crazy.
Starting point is 02:45:56 I did Kingsfall. That rate is nuts. Regardless we could be here all day. Yeah, yeah, yeah. We can talk about video games for hours. Shout out video games, bro. Nah. Yeah. Even, uh, even when sometimes they're not so great.
Starting point is 02:46:08 Yeah. I would say I don't haven't played. I haven't played it. I'll say it's, it seems ma'er. It's fine. It's like mediocre. The worst it is it's mediocre. Yeah.
Starting point is 02:46:19 Which is like still like. And when you want to pick and choose what you're going to play, you know, that's probably going to be on the back burner. It's a rough. It's a rough time. I'll say this. It's a rough time to release something that's mediocre. Because there's a lot of stuff that's kind of just cool coming out soon.
Starting point is 02:46:36 It's a crowded. I've heard a lot of good things about that blood of Dawn Walker game. Yeah. I heard too. I heard like the thing. I think I might I might start that. because I started, I started playing that Plague Tale game and I was just like, I'm not feeling this really. Guys, remember this.
Starting point is 02:46:49 No matter what happens, you're not Derek who wants to play freaking Dragon Age again, right? Remember that. No matter what kind of BS happening, Derek wants to play Dragon Age again. You see how, you see how like this? He's like the dumb guy that's, that's what he took from this. I didn't, I didn't say that I wanted to play it. I didn't say that I didn't say wanted to play. I didn't say I wanted to be trapped to you.
Starting point is 02:47:08 I compared myself to a retard one to go back to the X, but I, I know better. I'm not going to do it. All I got to say is that when Derek eventually plays it again, which he will. Which he will. Eventually, I'm going to fucking turn off this podcast and install it immediately. You're going to turn off the podcast and then turn over to the other screen and finish playing it. And you're going to be like, he's a dumb bitch. And you're going to finish playing it.
Starting point is 02:47:33 You're going to 100% that game, get everything done. And be like, this game is dog shit. 100%. Yeah, yeah. And then I'm going to just end it. I'm going to end it all. All right. Let's get out of here.
Starting point is 02:47:42 Yeah, all right. We're going to read the names of our $25 and up patrons. Got me down. Did you give a shout out to the podcast and everything where they should go? Did you do that in the beginning? I don't remember. I feel like I did it. Yeah.
Starting point is 02:47:58 Patreon.com slash snartank. There you go. Patreon. On the com slash a Star Tank. You know. I think I said before the question. I don't think you did too. I just don't remember.
Starting point is 02:48:06 I was busy making fun of Derek for playing a game again that you didn't play yet. Inevitably. It's profound. at this point. All right. Three, two, one. Alabama meme, Alabama Mean Boy. Huff and Puff the Asma Dragon. Destroy Patreon
Starting point is 02:48:22 for not saving my fucking name. Quitting Twitter because it's making me racist. Rage baiting Swin by just being white. Hassan's Schmidt on the R&C Jumbotron. I forgot about that. Dude, what the fuck was that? Wait, I'm sorry, what? That is insane. So they showed like an underwear photo of
Starting point is 02:48:38 Hassan at the R&C on the fucking Jumbotron, which like not, I mean, you're gay. I literally don't, I was like, what is the point of this? Do they not know they're making him more popular? Are they not aware of that? Yeah. This is the thing that bothers me about Hassan.
Starting point is 02:48:56 Or not, I guess not him specifically, but like the people who hate him. Yeah. And by the way, I say this is like somebody who's not even like, you're indifferent. I kind of just like am indifferent. Like I don't, I've heard him say things and I'm like, I think you're kind of dumb. But like, I just don't, I don't care. The, I would. know nothing about this guy if not for the people
Starting point is 02:49:15 who make their entire lives and personalities foundational on his existence. Yeah. I would never hear anything about this person. Like genuinely, his content never shows up on my feed when it's just him. It's always just like people commentating on him and like obsessing over him. This is the thing that is, I feel weird about people who are obsessive in general about anybody.
Starting point is 02:49:38 I think it's just a very weird thing. Like I remember there were people like that with a, with, with Maddox back in the day. That show was weird. Very odd. And like, you know what? I found like a video recently of like those same people and like they're still doing it. It's just like you got to fucking get over it, man. Like I don't know how you have nothing going on to the point where like you've built it.
Starting point is 02:49:59 And then and and then it becomes like you might as well just be married at a certain point. Like you might as well, you might as well love this person as far as I'm concerned. Yeah. You know what I mean? Because like they're your entire content and your entire content and your entire. personality is found is based on this person it's fucking weird and it's it's this whole i i i legitimately don't understand what they're because again right you if you really don't like this person you would want them to disappear and then you're propping them up all the time and this
Starting point is 02:50:29 picture in particular i really don't understand other than it like you said they're gay i don't understand because it's not even an unflattering photo it's him showing off that he's fucking he's yoked he has abs and stuff So I'm like, what is this supposed to show that he's fucking jacked? I don't, what are you doing? I don't understand. Like maybe if he had a picture with his asshole out or something, I'd understand that. Like, oh, look at this fucking guy.
Starting point is 02:50:54 He has a cucumber up his ass. Like, I would get that. Like, it would be still gay to fucking put that on your jumble screen. But also, it is a funny photo, you know? This is just him being like, oh, look it. I'm fucking hot. And I'm like, I, what is this? This is a shirtless photo.
Starting point is 02:51:11 It's like, is this. shirtless, his thighs, he's like, he's flexing, like, really hard. And, like, he's, you know, he's pulling it up more than he should. It's a very thirst-trappy photo. It's a thirst-trap photo, yeah, which is, like, whatever. If people are, if people are, like, conventionally fit, like, why? Why wouldn't you do it? Of course.
Starting point is 02:51:28 I would do the same thing if I was jacked. Yeah. I used to do that when I looked better. Right. Than I do now. Why not? But, like, why is that up there? I'm still, I'd be busting on camera.
Starting point is 02:51:38 I'd be laying out in the chair. Right in the chair. Busting on camera. I just It's just straight Like if I was still guys Like I need you to understand Like there's a lot of people
Starting point is 02:51:48 And I'm talking to the listeners right now There's a lot of people out there Who have done this Who have like Focal pointed their entire careers On a single person And it is very weird Imagine for a moment
Starting point is 02:52:00 Like you were listening to this podcast And I was still Every week Talking about Francesca Ramsey Or Cat Black Or Anita Sarkesian. Like imagine if that was like every week
Starting point is 02:52:14 we were talking about this. Still for 10 years. I would tell you right now. I would not be your friend. No. Like I wouldn't, I wouldn't be friends with anybody who did that. I would just say sit down and talk to them at that moment.
Starting point is 02:52:29 Like off camera just talk to them. Figure out how much why I hate them so much and just move on. That's it. And look. And look, because I know the comment. I know we're kind of putting the gar. rail's up here like the child locking the fucking bowling alley with like uh prefacing statements
Starting point is 02:52:48 because i know people are going to be like oh well you talk about trump all the time yeah the president's different we also don't talk about trump all the time what the fucking what do you mean well we mentioned like mentioning someone occasionally and making your content centered around them is not even this like i don't i agree i don't i don't want to i don't want to validate these stupid people i don't even like one is brought up because it's so stupid. It's not even real. That's not, sorry, go ahead. I know.
Starting point is 02:53:18 Anyway, I just, I don't know, whatever. Like, that is, that is crazy. The Jumbotron thing was funny. I think they, I don't know, man. Are you making context, though? Like, seriously. I would, did you? I don't think they know yet.
Starting point is 02:53:31 I don't think they know yet, Chris. What do you mean? They don't know. I don't think they know they're gay. I think they just think they're working. Oh, they don't know. They don't know that they're on grinders. They have no, they haven't realized.
Starting point is 02:53:40 that they're just being clinging up that they did the photo verification shit they just have no idea that they're like going through all the
Starting point is 02:53:47 the steps you have to be probably pay for a membership or something Derek what you're failing to understand is like I tripped and the phone fell out of my hand it downloaded grinder yeah
Starting point is 02:53:58 waited the entire time to fully download it screenshoted a photo of my own fate I accident and I tried to pick it up and I accidentally fumbled again opened the camera took a picture of my face
Starting point is 02:54:08 posed for the photo for verification, scanned my entire face, did the rotating 360 degree thing to make sure it was like actually me. And all of this was I simply tripped. Yeah, it was in one tumbling motion. All of that happened. Oh, man.
Starting point is 02:54:26 The world would be so much better if they could just openly be gay, dude. Sucks. They can't, Derek. They'll lose their power. They can just suck cock and be happy. That would be so good. there's sky judeady i will say i had i had a i've had experiences like that before like it's not to the same degree but like i remember it was so funny because i was like going through this is like maybe years
Starting point is 02:54:51 ago at this point but i remember going through my phone and because i was looking for um i can't remember what the fuck i was looking for a link to something and like i fumbled my like fumbled with my phone and it like automatically like i hit the screen in such a way that it like It brought up an X of mine and typed in I love. What? I'm not even kidding. I'm not even joking. Because I fumbled with it.
Starting point is 02:55:17 I was like, yo, that's crazy. Like, this is like moments away from being like a really stressful situation. But like, obviously it's different than like, downloading it app and scanning your face.
Starting point is 02:55:26 But still like that happens sometimes. I often wonder sometimes about like, man, I wonder what like the most like genuinely what the most like unbelievable. Coincidence is. Like coincidence of like fumbling your phone and like, Like, no, you don't understand. Like, I really did trip.
Starting point is 02:55:44 I like that. And this happened. I've definitely mistakenly sent my grandma the N-word before when she was like, she sent me something. I was like, nigga, later or something like that. And she was just like, what did you send me this for? And I was like, it was a mistake. It was a mistake. I had a horrible thing happened one time or there was an iPhone update where they finally let you screen record.
Starting point is 02:56:07 And I was like, I was a little bit late to the party. So the update was like, I was like, holy shit, like this is so convenient. And like in the middle, I'm, it's the middle of the day. I'm like screen recording as right at the time.
Starting point is 02:56:20 I'm just like, this is awesome. I get a Snapchat from this girl that I was talking to. But here's the thing. Anytime she's ever seen anything explicit, it is exclusively at night. Just at night. So like during the day,
Starting point is 02:56:34 I saw that it was the purple one, where it's a video. And I clicked on it just like, who gives a, fuck. And then it was something explicit and I was like, oh shit. And then so I clicked out of it, but it immediately says that it's like screenshot it or whatever. She fucking calls me. And she's like, bro, what are you like, what are you doing? And I was like, I explained this to the situation. She didn't fucking believe me. Of course not. And I was like, brother, I explained
Starting point is 02:56:55 exactly what I told you guys. I'm like, you literally have only sent me shit at night. I'm in the middle of something right now and I just clicked it because I thought it was going to be something stupid like your fucking dog. You know? And it, it tainted our relationship. Like, Because like, I was like, you felt that that was the beginning of it falling apart. That literally was that because she, she, I guess she had an issue with, uh, an ex like leaking her shit, like revenge porn. No, it's, it's fair. And I was like, bro, like, this sucks because I can't convince you that like that this was literally a scenario that happened. And even with the caveat of you've literally never sent me something in the middle of the day, like believe me.
Starting point is 02:57:31 Dude, I had a, I had a thing like that. I had a thing like that. It's so funny. I just remembered it. You're saying this, you telling this story reminded me. Yeah. where like I sent I was sending I think I sent like just like a Snapchat or something I think it might have been a Snapchat or like an Instagram like photo or whatever I'm just like hey I'm just in my room just like kind of fucking around and she's like who's that in your glasses I was like what? I'm not not wait and wait until wait until you hear this is because it's hilarious yeah and like it's like I know you're talking to XY and I see it in your glasses you're on Skype or something I was like what I have that Skype in forever
Starting point is 02:58:07 And I looked, I didn't know, I genuinely didn't know what the fuck was talking about because I was literally just, like the door was open, like, everybody was home. And I looked at, I looked at it. And it was the reflection of the Destiny 2 map screen. Just really like fate. Like I knew what it was because like I understand like how that would look blurred at like blurry and like reflected. But like if you didn't know Destiny 2 like you wouldn't know like what that is. Yeah. And I could I could kind of see maybe what she thought she saw. But I was like, no, dude, this is destiny. And she did, I still think to this day she doesn't believe it. That is insane. That's way worse than me of like, like, like as far as it's not a clear photo of a woman. You know, you're saying it's the destiny map. Like, bitch. I've never had that.
Starting point is 02:59:01 Thank God. That's why I don't like people taking photos of me, by the way, because I'm just like, I just don't want to deal with shit. I don't want to deal. I've never had that. Because even when I've done nothing. wrong. It's like, it's just like, I'm, I'm always like at fault. So it's like, I just, I don't want to use me. That shit triggers me, man. But I'm getting blamed for nothing. That's, that's one of the few times I start acting out of my character is when I'm like, oh, it sends me spiraling.
Starting point is 02:59:25 Because I'm not, because I, I very much so hold my tongue when I want to be mean of people. I'm like, oh, there's just no need for me to be mean. I don't know. I don't have to be rude right now. but that shit will make me start snapping and I'll turn into a not nice version of myself where I'm like I'm not what do you mean like I've been I've been blamed before of cheating when I literally was at work once and I was like are you stupid
Starting point is 02:59:52 I'm at fucking work my nigga I'm at work I'm at my job that you also work at this is my previous girlfriend when I did the New York and I was like are you fucking I was like bitch are you insane and I don't talk to women like that also ever. And I just started losing my cool
Starting point is 03:00:10 and I sent her a fucking snaptet of me with our co-workers at work. No, you have that saved. You have that saved already. Dude, I, yeah. That's when that's when the mass starts to crack. And it's just my dad's
Starting point is 03:00:28 mustache starts poking out of my face. The gun starts developing. Yeah. it really sends me spirally it's not a good I hate when people attribute shit to me
Starting point is 03:00:41 that I just straight up didn't do especially when it's just like obvious Hey people It's just it's inferior Don't blame Because then I'm just thinking like Well fuck I should have just did this then If I was just gonna get all this flag
Starting point is 03:00:51 Like now I'm pissed That may not be the right way to go about it It's not the right way to go Obviously don't do that You gotta jump shit I've felt that I've definitely felt that way before I was like well what the fuck is this You know what I am gonna set this city on
Starting point is 03:01:06 fire and burn every puppy in a general city. I am going to do it. You think I didn't already might as well fucking do it, huh? I'm going to do it. Yeah, I don't know, man. He would see to put every puppy in a blender a three mile radius. Bill Cosby buying, uh, Bill Cosby buying Connor McGregor a beer.
Starting point is 03:01:22 Cop to 360 and clean the blood out my toilet. Uh, lesbian locusts. Hunter Biden's slop coin. Oh yeah, that's right. He released like a like some kind of meme coin or something. Who did? Hunter Biden, I think. Um,
Starting point is 03:01:36 Oh, he's doing. I didn't look, I didn't look super into it because I was just like, I just assume everybody's corrupt. So like, I wonder if it's, uh, because he's not a media tour. I wonder if it's unironic or if he's doing it like ironically. Does he right now he's just, he's still kind of, he's doing this. I know he's, because he's being very forthcoming about how he's a scumbag. I'm a rich fucking nebo baby scumbag. We're talking about. But, um, yeah. I just wonder because of his media tour would kind of suggest to me that it's, he's doing it ironically. But then at the same time, he could just be like, oh, no. like I'm just going to get money because you're all dumb. Like, dumb as fuck, I'm going to get money. How fucking. Uh,
Starting point is 03:02:15 it makes sense to me. Why Hunter Biden's meme coin is even worse than it looks by MS now. Worse than it looks. It's like, how much worse could a meme coin look? You know, it's, it's like cryptocurrency token officially named Hunter Biden's laptop.
Starting point is 03:02:33 Launched on the base blockchain. Hunter Biden pitched the, the token as a way to reclaim the narrative surrounding his infamous laptop controversy. Oh, you what a faggot. I'm sorry. That ruined it for me. Totally. Oh, here's the reclaim that. Shut up.
Starting point is 03:02:50 Shut up. It's theory. That's like funny theoretically. Like the idea of like, oh, because if you search Hunter Biden's laptop, now you get, now you just get the crypto coin. Yeah, but I'm like, does it work? Could you actually? Yeah. Now you've just got a worse.
Starting point is 03:03:05 Because the Hunter Biden laptop thing wasn't even that of a deal, now you've got a worst scenario, actually. Because now you're a crypto scammer, which is way worse than having your nudes on a fucking laptop. Who gives a shit? Quite literally backwards, backwards thinking of the fucking century. Yeah.
Starting point is 03:03:23 Like this guy was, I don't get it. Who are these people's fucking PR teams? Because he seems like he was on a roll. He's like, all. Gerbils. It must be. You know what, Derek? I'm deeply disappointed in Hunter.
Starting point is 03:03:37 as if that like we had like high yeah we had high like I I thought you were the chosen one you were the chosen one Hunter I had your shirt I have your merch yeah anyone man I thought anyone in this one that's Hunter Biden merch they need to die quickly they yes

Starting point is 03:04:10 There's the whole point of it. That's where I got so damn bad. I don't, I don't, I can't say. I literally didn't. Maybe that's true. Maybe it isn't. I can't say. But hey, I'm sure people think that's true. Yeah, I'm sure. I'm sure.
Starting point is 03:04:22 But like, and it could be. Yeah, that's true. Being a crack head, hey, dude, you should have fun, I guess, you know. Go crack it up. That's good stuff, man. Gene Gray watching Frank's family getting murdered. Quaker Oats, iPhone faced their mascot. child mom donnie mind controlling the hijackers on 9-11
Starting point is 03:04:39 like jean gregg it happened can't deny it to deny it would be completely normal most gentle lesbian who only beats on weekends merry kirkmas everyone from the bottom from the bottom on my neck

Starting point is 03:05:45 Damn. Well, yeah, I'm saying, I'm telling you, I can't believe that he's dead. So, someone, so who's telling you that? Nobody, I'm just saying. When that happens, we get to say dead durs. You can't believe he's dead in the future. No, I just mean right. now I can't believe he's dead because I would have heard about it.
Starting point is 03:06:06 Dead. So, so, okay, I got it. Sorry, my bad. As you were, so I'd interrupt you. If he was dead, we would have gotten texts about it because, like, we bring him up kind of, like, not super regularly. Who's saying he's dead? So, like, at this, nobody's saying he's dead. I'm just saying, like, at this moment, I can't believe he's dead.
Starting point is 03:06:24 But why would it be in question right now? It's not, it's not about a question. Like, there's a lot of things I don't believe that's a question. It's just one of those. days when I'm fucking dead. Just one of those days, Chris, I'm really dead. I'm dead outside in your fucking house. If I walked into my living room right now and Fred Durs was dead on my floor, I'd be so pissed.
Starting point is 03:06:47 Because you know somebody dropped him off there. You know somebody left him there. I'm like, I'm barely connected to this guy. I don't even know most of his views. I know like two songs of this guy. I know he directed that John Travolta movie where he played like an autistic stalker. Yeah, dude. Or did he direct it or was he writing?
Starting point is 03:07:03 He directed it. Yeah, okay. It's crazy that he did that. He's in your house bed as a doorknard. Crazy that John Travolta was like, what a meeting of the minds. That was me, John Travolta, yeah. Yeah. What's up, man? Yeah.
Starting point is 03:07:15 What's up, man? I love you, Fred Durst. I love you, Fred Durst. I love you, too, John Travolta. Dude, that fucking set was a, what has been a nightmare of beyond? Must have been a fucking nightmare. What are we going to do? What do you want?
Starting point is 03:07:33 Do you want me to play this really artistically? Yeah. Do, do, do, do. What was I think you said? Kinks in a lot of it? Yes. Fucking search. Cold brew king.
Starting point is 03:07:50 Alpha V. Deaf leopards ate my face. It's crazy. Nice. Every time Chris says no shot, take a drink. I do say that a lot. I don't know where I got that from because I don't think my parents said that or anything. I don't know.
Starting point is 03:08:05 I picked that up somewhere. I probably do say too much. Poundeer brand ambassador, Swordmaster panic attack, Mr. Barry, Nick Kerr's best friend, Nate Higgers, Wolverine hair,

Starting point is 03:09:57 because it's like the flexibility of that bit is so good. Like just alt-right, Tom from Tunei is so good. I like that. That's his name. It pisses me off. That's good. I like that. I'm going to bomb Iran. Epstein was a good guy.
Starting point is 03:10:16 Yeah, yeah. Right after Death Note, only on Tunei. Dude, what a Peter Tews saying? He was like, oh, he wasn't in jail for that long, so I didn't think whatever he did was a big deal. Oh, yeah. I love the idea that he, like, they put it, they locked. him away for only a little bit must not have been a big deal. Dude,
Starting point is 03:10:36 they locked him away. When it's not a big deal, they don't get locked up. And by the way, even when it is a big deal, they don't get locked up sometimes. Yeah. So like being sealed away is crazy. Being sealed away, knowing how many people get away with shit that they
Starting point is 03:10:52 obviously didn't don't get sealed away, the fact that like he got sealed away at all is crazy. So for him to just be like, oh, it wasn't for that long. So maybe it was exaggeration. brother. And then Joe Rogan's how hard it is to get sealed away. Joe's going to this guy's house for dinner.
Starting point is 03:11:09 I'm going to keep. Joe Rogan's like, yeah, he beats his chest and it jumps off a high place and doesn't get hurt because his bones are made a stone and brick. Yeah. Get something, picks up a car and eats it. What do you think lunch at Peter Thiel's house? You think it's like a lunchable's like covered in semen? That's busy.
Starting point is 03:11:27 I feel like lunch at Peter Thiel. For people who don't know, for people who don't know, Peter Thiel is gay. I feel like Peter Tee. Yeah, if the joke wasn't obvious. I wanted, I wanted to make sure that they knew that they know he's gay. If it wasn't an obviously distasteful joke to gay people, Peter Thiel is homosexual. You guys, they pick up that part. He don't call him penis teal for no reason, man.
Starting point is 03:11:51 There you go. Penis seal because my penis is. Because he calls him penis teal. We call him penis teal because he fucks. He calls him penis teal because his penis, he fucks you until his penis is blue. until it's crazy it's not even particularly gay it's just crazy

Starting point is 03:12:20 I think it is but he he was having a conversation like do you think human life is worthy he was like well well he paused for like fucking 10 seconds he didn't answer the whole
Starting point is 03:12:32 clip and I'm like, he says, like, oh, course or something. Too late, I really think if, I really think if you were at his house, pulls out, pulls out, pulls out his lunchebles, dips it and come on. He pulls it out. He pulls it out. He busts on it. Then he dips it and come to. He's a double dipper. Oh, he's a double dipper. You ever have the pizza ones with the tombstone, tombstone pizza sauce? Of course. Well, there's just seam in that packet. Starting point is 03:14:03 I don't think so I know there's that brothel thing Which probably Probably had underage people Probably In the Europe It's like sanction I don't know
Starting point is 03:14:12 I mean I would be more like I would think more in a place Where it's illegal Is where you'd find Well no In Europe, I guess what I'm saying is like in Europe 16 is, you know what I mean? Oh, oh, I didn't consider that that.
Starting point is 03:14:25 Okay, I understand. I totally understand. That's dangerous water. I was thinking of it more of the black market thing where it's like there's definitely, you know, young fucking, uh, trafficked women. But yeah, yeah, no, probably he. This ain't, this ain't South Figueroa, okay. You couldn't get me. You couldn't get me in one of those places, bro.
Starting point is 03:14:43 You couldn't, you couldn't physically get me in there. Let's go. I think we should make a trip of it. It's like, you go. You go, tell me how. Let's go get, let's go with myself. Chris is going with you, of course. All right.
Starting point is 03:14:54 I guess I'll go to a brothel. I don't know, whatever. No, I just want to see what it looks like. I'm not going to do anything. I'm too married and gay now. I would want to go and like actually, I would want to go and actually do like the, the thing that people say they do. Where it's just like, you just go, you just go and just like, I honestly just kind of need a hug. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 03:15:17 You don't have to talk to me. that much. I just like, I just don't want to be interesting to chat with them because I feel like I feel like strippers famously have some of the best stories ever. They do have amazing. They do have amazing stories. Yesterday almost died again. Yeah, it was one of the coolest things about dating a stripper was like the stories where we're always fucking crazy and awesome.
Starting point is 03:15:37 And they'd always like people would come in and you'd be like that person came in. Yeah. Ooh, I'd love to have that. It was so fascinating. because like I know I one story was like that this that CEO of sex guy came in oh Ned Leeds
Starting point is 03:15:55 yo that's dope he's like a party guy he's like a party guy he truly is the CEO of sex that's awesome he is the CEO of sex but like he went to the back room he came out energized still and a women in there were covered and crammed
Starting point is 03:16:09 he came out with hair he came out fine he came out with hair and a big gaunt and the ladies are in there and it's like, yo, we need the power washer. Him, Woody Harrelson is another one. Surprise me. There's some other people that, like, and by the way, like.
Starting point is 03:16:30 And I get it. I say this not as like, oh, they're slimy. Like, I think it's, I mean, it's people are just doing whatever the fuck they're doing. Yeah, right. Having been in that scene and seeing it from the other side, it's like, yeah, it's kind of groaty, but it's like, it's actually not that crazy compared to like, some other things that I've seen. It's not as bad as it was portrayed to be when we were younger.
Starting point is 03:16:49 When we were younger, we portrayed Trippers as like the most bottom of the bottom, but that's like obviously it's misogyny. That's misogyny making the system and then misogyny. A lot of them are cool. A lot of them are really cool genuinely. To be fair, there's a,
Starting point is 03:17:03 there's a lot of BPD. You want to be a little careful. But you never, you never know a girl got BPD until you find out she got BPD, man. So all I got to say is that, you know, shoot shoot shot a gamble exactly bro
Starting point is 03:17:18 I don't think you know it stands for it stands for it stands for bomb pussy disease is what it stands for that's exactly what it stands dog I've heard man I've heard it's crazy and I'm like anyway
Starting point is 03:17:34 how how is it that much better than it's like it grabs you in it grabs you in it's like it embraces you all right let's go let's go let's go this is this is my confession I stole three billion from Sears
Starting point is 03:17:50 Sears I had three billion three billion on hand just on hand maybe fucking roaches maybe they got three billion roaches I love it Roddy Raggey's raped Rumpus
Starting point is 03:18:01 Slok or two isodermper would you rather come blood or blood come Ooh I'm blooding I'm blooding I'm bloody I
Starting point is 03:18:13 I have bloody come That'd be fun I guess seems kind of neat. I don't want cummy blood. That's certainly true. That's terrifying. Because every now and again, like, sometimes I'll get like a little cut on my fingernail or something like that or like my cuticle. Yeah. And it'll bleed
Starting point is 03:18:28 a little bit. And it's like, I don't want cum coming out of my fingers. Hey, guys, this okay? Um, uh, put up, should there be other text there? I feel like the, like, the, uh, what, um, NBA Kirkboy? You got to put NBA Kirkboy. Okay. No, wait, hold on. I'm trying to think. That bottom left, that bottom right one is fucking crazy.
Starting point is 03:18:48 Just I get rid of this? You know what I like it. You definitely got to keep that. A lot of the images of him do his gums too many favors, man. Like that ass. Like a lot of them do his gums to me favorite. It's like you didn't have a good. Your mouth did not look good.
Starting point is 03:19:04 Yes. Yes. His genetics were fucking, they're pretty rough. Yes. Habsburg is definitely involved. I'm trying to think. Yeah, dude. I'm trying to think of ways to make it worse.
Starting point is 03:19:18 To make it worse? There's a few layups. I was trying to keep it like, well, I don't know. Not worse in the sense that there's more Charlie Kirk's. Just like, it's not in this realm because this is not, this doesn't make any sense. But I was thinking of like Thanos's glove snapping on the on the left or something. You know what I mean? And then like it's just a bunch of great.
Starting point is 03:19:42 But like it not that, but like in the vein of like what can we? You're going to have joke. What joke can. we add to the thumbnail beyond just having him? This is perfect. This is perfect, right? What do you got? But that's fine also. It could be Friza using the death beam.
Starting point is 03:19:58 No. I'm not. That's not. No. Come on. No. You know what, okay, you know what Piccolo stops the blast for Gohan? It can be that, but Piccolo is Kirkified. I like the idea. Yeah, whatever.
Starting point is 03:20:14 You don't know what I imagine. All the Kirkboy ones are, they're, the quality is awful. The NBA Curkboy is such a good one, no. That's the best It's a good one, but it's a bad image. It's good. Every single one, they're always like, it's like some fucking, some streaming footage. It's like on a Motorola razor those fucking videos. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Slok there to why so derpe? Would you rather, I read that already. Just learned that at the end in NBA stands for National. Dutcholo and the Vanderbue gang beat Maj and Micah. Spopovich is here, Dutch. They're going to drain your power, Dutch.
Starting point is 03:20:54 Damn it, Micah. Well, that's more, that was more King of the Hill. Now, that's, damn it. Damn it. God damn it, Micah, here you go again, selling your soul to Majin Boo. I imagine selling your soul multiple times. That's crazy.
Starting point is 03:21:09 That's pretty good. Here you go again. I did it and I'll do it again. Hank. Why are you hanging out with with Maka, a boy. I don't know, Dad. I don't know, Dad. He offered me immense power, Dad. I had to say yes.
Starting point is 03:21:27 Majin Bobby Hill. I feel like that has to exist. That must exist. Bobby Hill. Bobby. All right. Matt Walsh plays Pragata one-handed. That's crazy. Nice. He does. No, he does. I say nice.
Starting point is 03:21:47 That's crazy. That is the part that I reacted to. I wasn't really thinking about what they said. And then I was like, wait a minute. You were just on autopilot. You were just like response. It's so deep, turn that bitch into a Muppet, pescatarian and inhuman surface resident.
Starting point is 03:22:03 The Star Tanks resident V-tuber, Gore the Kingston butcher. What? I died Asian. There's no margin Bobby Hill I can find. Interesting. Oh, wow, wow, Derek. For real?
Starting point is 03:22:13 Oh, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. I spoke too soon. He doesn't have the M, but he doesn't have the M, but he's just turned into actual Majin Boo, so. That's so much crazier than I thought actually. Derek, Derek, you got to drop that in a group. You got to drop that in the chat. That is insane.
Starting point is 03:22:34 I'm putting in the chat. I like the idea of Majin Bobby Hill with all the veins, but he has no different build. He has all the veins that come with it. Yeah. But he's still built the exact same way. I'm going to turn you into chocolate, Dad. Yeah.
Starting point is 03:22:47 Bobby Dad, me and Lady Bird are going to kill the country Damn. What the fuck, Bobby? You're pink. That's a gay color. I just realized. That's not like that.
Starting point is 03:23:02 That's not Hank Kill. Don't play my man. I mean, it kind of, I mean, it is. He's not. He is, he is old and detached, but he's not bigoted. Hank Kill would put that on vote for Trump. He did it.
Starting point is 03:23:15 Oh, my God. He did it. I didn't even ask him to do it. I asked him yesterday. That's crazy. You just put his face on the show. Well, he's going to be on the show.
Starting point is 03:23:25 If I edited the penis, I was going to put on the show regardless. I don't get it a fuck. I was going to blur the, it's going to be a silhouette penis, like blurred with Jordan cradling it. I'll get to work after we still got some more work to do. Yeah.
Starting point is 03:23:43 I think it's so funny how we saw this. We were like, let's get Jordan on this. Tommy. Why Derek so defensive at arguments, boner, you're fucked, Bart, Lisa, and Bart, and Bart. I don't know. I don't know what that is. I don't know what that is either. Lisa, why are you? I'm going to kill you. I'm going to eat everybody in this building. You know it. Put that trumpet or whatever the fuck it is down.
Starting point is 03:24:10 Trumpet. He's so, he couldn't care less about her. He doesn't know anything about his daughter genuinely. He knows nothing about her. Marge, Lisa won't stop playing that slide whistle. That is crazy. That's a saxophone, homie. Shut up, bitch. She's having sex?
Starting point is 03:24:36 She's having sex? Isn't she eight, Marge? Not in this house. Yeah. She's sitting against the. the door playing the saxophone and he opens it but he like opens it so fast that she gets like pulled under the door and like
Starting point is 03:24:53 Oh my god like toothpaste Yeah yeah just guts shoot out like Toothoes out dude And Mark comes in says Icarumba I come out of window Hey homie I notice you Exterminating your child there Whoa
Starting point is 03:25:11 You did a beer What are you doing in police as room. He comes out of the closet. Don't ask any questions. He comes out of the closet. His hands obscured. The purpose of obscured.
Starting point is 03:25:29 That's the end of the episode. And then they reset it. They never visit that again. They ended on such a fucking tired to be continued. And then they just don't do anything with it at all. The person that worked at episode is fired instantly. Yeah. Back rating.
Starting point is 03:25:47 hanged him personally. He grabbed him. Held him up and hang him with his with his own hands. That's crazy, Derek. The episode airs. Yes, I do. Derek, that's crazy. He holds him up high enough for him.
Starting point is 03:26:03 Powerful Magrating is. The episode air. He's not choking him. He's hanging him in a show. Listen, listen. The episode airs. Macrating's season on TV. He's like, I didn't approve any of this.
Starting point is 03:26:16 Yeah, yeah. And he goes to kill the guy. He fucking go immediately slides over to him. That was pretty good, right? That was pretty good, right? He goes, why you little? Why, you little? He says that.
Starting point is 03:26:41 I don't know how he sounds. I imagine he sounds like George Lucas. He sounds like such a, he does not have a voice that's, even you would want to replicate. It's just a normal guy. He doesn't even have a loiscy want to replicate. That's mean as fuck. Well, no, he just sounds like,
Starting point is 03:26:58 he doesn't sound like a character at all. He just strangling. I'm going to strangle you. He was recently on a, Conan O'Brien's podcast. Oh, I saw that. I didn't see, I didn't watch the episode. I saw the picture of them announcing it. Yeah.
Starting point is 03:27:10 Conan O'Brien's got a good show. Yeah. It's genuinely an interesting podcast. I like his, I like his guests. But that's an interesting one. I wonder if he's going to talk about that episode that we just talked about. That's crazy. He doesn't.
Starting point is 03:27:24 He was like, why'd you have Mo hiding in Lisa's closet and then Homer kill Lisa onto the door? Why'd you do that? He's like, I don't know. I just don't know. It ought to be interesting. It happens, Conan, you know? It happens, Conan. Sometimes the script sneaks through.
Starting point is 03:27:46 And you just don't know until the end. You don't know. I'm going to, I'm going to eat you. dead daughter, homer. I'm going to eat. I've got to eat you. You already killed her. I think she's up for grabs.
Starting point is 03:27:56 That is so ridiculous. I'm going to eat your dead daughter, I'm sorry. As long as I can get more beer, Mo. You have beer, right? Of course,
Starting point is 03:28:05 I got beer for you, fat, yeah, open your mouth, and he pulls his dick out and starts pissing in his mouth. Read the names. Read the names,
Starting point is 03:28:11 Chris. We're done. That's it. We're done. Oh, no. Oh. Smithers, what's that red mass under the Simpson's door?
Starting point is 03:28:31 That's their daughter, sir. That's, yeah, that's Lisa Simpson's, right? Daughter, eh? Who in the devil is that fat oath being getting pissed on? That's Homer Simpson. Simpson. Simpson. Simpson.
Starting point is 03:28:49 I'm going to piss on him. Simpson, eh? Bring me over there right now. piss is dust yeah it's a constant stream of dust
