Who would you say is like top three dancers in the team?
Oh, you just asked this because you can let me, take me.
Okay, you don't want to include me.
You don't have to include me.
Yeah, I would include you.
Yeah, same.
Same.
So don't have.
Yeah.
Welcome back to We Are Chelsea, the official podcast of Chelsea women,
brought to you in association with Skoda,
the official car partner of Chelsea women and proud supporters of women's sport.
I'm Natalie Bjern, and today I'm,
I'm joined by two of my teammates, very good friends, as we answer some of your questions
and chat about life at Chelsea.
This is We Are Chelsea with me, Vicki Captain and Agbeve Jones.
And every night, the brightest colors film up.
Hello. Hi Natalie.
Long time, no, see. The best host. How are you feeling?
Good. Well.
Yeah.
Yeah. Very good. With you guys good.
Good. How was your day?
Uh, good.
I talked with Nala this morning, went for coffee, and then I came here for recovery.
And came here to do this.
Very good.
Very good.
We came here to do, Agi.
Me and Yo-Yo did a fun little conditioning session.
We did some uppers.
We looked strong.
Can you see it?
And then had some lunch.
You came in and then here we are.
How are you?
I'm good.
Thank you for asking.
We're happy to be.
here with you?
I'm a little bit nervous.
I'm a little bit nervous. Why?
I don't feel like pressure to do this thing.
I'm a bit nervous too.
But we will, we will sort of.
Okay, I have some questions for you that would like you to answer.
Okay.
She's so serious.
Yeah.
Wait, let me just.
Okay.
This is about the team, of course.
Okay.
Okay.
Okay.
Okay.
Who would survive longest on a reality TV show, but we take like...
Which TV show?
We start maybe with Love Island.
Who will be the best in the team at Love Island?
Speak your truth.
Do you know who I think would be really good?
Yo-Yo.
Yeah, I was thinking about it.
Why do you take it so long to answer?
Yeah, I was just thinking about like people.
Just thinking about it.
I'm not going to say it, girl.
No, I think Yo-Yo would be good.
I think she would chat to everyone
and I think she'd make a lot of friends
and then hopefully she could...
She could find her, may I?
That is very, very true.
And what do you think, like,
our big brother?
Natalie Bjorn.
No, I think Ney.
I didn't.
I think Ney would be good
because, again, she's friendly,
she would chat to everyone.
I don't think she'd annoy anyone.
No, I think she would just be
the neutral one.
Yeah, and she's really like,
I think she's quite quick with it.
she's quite funny as well yeah i think yeah what do you think now so i agree you you you
you could do i think you i think you you could do yeah reality shows i think she would
this morning are you there when we were talking about our three best um attributes about like yourself
no and she was really good she was saying how she was like i'm funny and then she you were there
when she was like in swedish i'm so funny you i heard that yeah and she's like tell them i'm funny
in swedish i'm like you've been in this country now for almost four years this is you
Like this is you
I think she is so funny
Yeah
She's got very dry sense
sarcastic humor
Yeah she has really our own jokes
Like she's herself
My favourite is when she does
The laughing thing
You know when another table is laughing
And then she'll laugh
The hardest
Yeah
I love it
Anyways enough about yo-yo
Yeah
We can talk about yo-you
Yeah
She's sweet
She's sweet little bit psycho
A little bit psycho
Oh she was so happy
When we sing that for her
Okay another question
Who in the team
gets distracted the easiest.
So who of you two do you think?
You two, to me.
You two together.
Sometimes when I talk to her,
she goes like, oh, okay, okay.
And then I'm just, no, she just doesn't listen sometimes.
I could get, I think, just in, I don't know,
not a meeting, but like.
I think in meetings you're worse than me.
Yeah, I think maybe too, to be honest.
But I think day to day life, I'm worse.
Yeah.
You're a bit of a dreamer sometimes.
Yeah, I just like, I'm thinking about other things all the time.
Yeah.
But you have to pick the three months.
It's like you say, you two together is like,
it's not the best.
Isn't that not the best combination?
At least we have a good time.
Yes, you do.
It's always something going on with us.
Yeah, that's nice.
It's never a quiet day.
No, exactly.
Very true.
Who in the team brings the energy in the dressing room?
But this is, we're almost, we're never in the dressing room, really.
No, not really.
Maybe just an archa in your room, thank you.
I think Keish, when she comes back, I feel a lot of energy for a yesterday.
And then also when we had the game, like, are we ready?
Like, just that kind of things.
I think she hypes the team up a lot.
I think that's really good energy from her.
Yeah.
And she can dance when we win something.
She's such a good dancer.
Oh, my God.
So jealous.
Who would you say it's like top three dancers in the team?
Oh, you just ask this because you can.
You don't have to include me.
Okay, you don't have to include me.
Take from the other team.
No, I would include you.
Yeah, same.
Same.
So don't act.
Yeah.
Keyish you.
Right.
Mine's rogue, but only because I think she gives her all.
Like, she looks stupid, but I've actually think...
Who?
Neve.
Oh, she can't dance, but the fact that she goes for it makes it good.
Do you know what I'm trying to say?
Yeah.
Because I can't think of anyone else.
She was going to lose energy.
Yeah.
You disagree.
Yeah, well, I've never seen the dance.
Yeah, well, in the changing room, we'll go away.
Yeah, I don't know.
Just, I saw you and Keisha dancing.
You and Keesha were really good together.
But she's like my dancing queen idol.
I think.
Also when we're like out dancing, I'm like, can you teach me out to dance?
That was really cute.
She's like, you go left, you go right?
Okay, okay.
Do you remember when we went to that salsa?
Salsa evening.
That was so nice.
We need to do that again.
How many of the team, Sessa was there?
Yeah.
Mia was there.
Nief.
Katta.
Ney.
Naye.
Us.
Lucy.
Yeah.
No, Kiro.
I don't know.
But we were so out.
But we were so out.
I paid money to see Kira.
Okay, who would you say then is the top three worst dancers?
Kira, one, I think.
I'm not including us.
I think we can dance if we need it.
Yeah.
Yeah, you have some TikTok.
Yeah, you can also dance.
I've seen you dance.
Yeah, if I go fully, I'm the same as, yeah, I'm not stiff.
No, no, no.
No, not stiff.
You can move.
My hips don't move like a dance, but.
No, yeah, Kira.
Kira, Kira, Kira.
Yeah.
Kira, Kira, if you mean.
Veila can kind of dance
when she did that thing the other day
me and Lucy were like, whoa.
What did she do?
She did that like,
I can't do it,
but not gonna do.
Shuffle.
Not gonna do a girl.
Maybe she did some sort of shuffle, yeah.
Oh yeah.
As Dutch people, we can shuffle.
Yeah.
That's the only thing we can do, to be honest.
But yeah.
Yeah, Phila can do that.
Yeah.
Can yo-yo dance?
She is much better now.
Is she?
Much better.
Now she feels the rhythm.
Before it was a little bit.
Questionable, but now,
I would say she's a decent, good dancer.
Okay, 90%.
We'll keep it on Kirak, Kira, Kira.
She won't care.
Okay.
She's not bothered.
No, she's not bother.
Now we're going to change game.
I'm jumping a little bit here.
That was some questions.
That was a warm up.
That was a little warm up.
Now it's about you two.
Yeah.
But maybe you can just tell the people watching your first impressions of each other.
America.
America.
Every time.
We've seen each other before here probably, right?
Before we go to America.
but I don't have any memories of that.
Oh, tell us a little bit about your friendship.
Okay, so we had like, not a friendly, behind doors.
Yeah, we had like a behind the doors, behind the doors game, didn't we?
Yeah, at your campus.
Yeah.
When was this?
Two years ago?
When was this?
I want to date.
16th of February, 12th again.
Two years ago.
Yeah, two years ago.
And you didn't know each other then.
No, but I knew you'd signed for Chelsea.
and I remember I saw Hannah go up to you at the end of the game
and I was like oh I better go say hi
I was so nervous to go to Chelsea to be honest
you played really well thank you you too thanks
oh cute and then I remember I went up to you and was like
oh like you'll be with us in preseason weren't you and you were like
yeah yeah yeah I remember I said
I was like oh if you need somewhere to stay you can stay
and you were like
I remember that so clearly
yeah
and then you were very nice though
we see you in like a few months
yeah
it's gonna be fine
you said it's gonna be fine or something like that
and I was like
you said you were really nervous or something
I was really nervous
of course but then when we went to America
oh my god
I knew I was gonna be best friends with you
from like the first day
but then was Alexandra
and Lucy Watson.
Oh, Lucy Watson's there.
We can tell to coffee.
Yeah, we'll tell that story.
Okay, you'll tell it in English.
No, come on, please.
No, your English is better now.
No, come on.
We did this podcast two years ago.
Three, two, one.
Robbittes, shoot.
Anyway, it was us for, sorry,
we were like a little group, weren't we?
It was when we went to Washington.
Well, you were there, weren't you?
Yeah, and do you remember when there was like
torrential rain?
I remember Jess Carter,
saw me, because she was with Anne or something.
Anyway, relevant of like,
that we had a team meeting and we were in that Starbucks across the road getting a coffee and then it started like the heavens opened and I kid you not I've never seen so much rain in my life like and then we all got the warning on our phone that it was like torrential yes stay inside do not go outside we literally looked at the time when we're like sugar sugar we need to get back to the hotel anyway we literally open the doors and it was like windy it was rainy I've never seen rain like it and we had to sprint across didn't we yeah and we were drenched
Yeah. And you didn't know each other that well at this point. And then we all laughed.
I think we like took our tops off to like try like cover our heads that we didn't.
Because we literally had to go into a meeting straight away.
Yeah. But that whole trip we were just like swimming in the pool doing like the.
Yeah. I remember. He was playing in the pool.
Being like two little, no, four little goofballs. And then it was really good time though, didn't it?
Yeah. It was really nice. And then our friendship blossomed, didn't it?
Then our other two friends went. Yeah. And then.
Last two standing.
Standing. Standing strong.
Standing strong.
That's really cute.

Oh my god.
Okay.
I'm going to ask you a question, but you can't shout.
I ask you a question, you think about it.
And then we say,
say the answers.
I know your birthday.
I do know that.
I don't know yours.
Okay, we can start with that then.
Come on.
I just said, I don't know hers.
Okay.
Okay.
You know, can you tell us Agis's full name?
I've heard this so many times.
Agi, can you tell us, which is full name?
I can.
Yeah, just tell it.
Is yours Margarita?
No, that's my niece.
Oh, yeah.
Oh, yeah.
You said it with it.
Is yours Margarita?
No, yours, you have such an...
It's hard in another language, but it's hard in another language.
It's like, it's weaker.
It's not horrible.
No, it's like a, it's not a nice word to say.
Hendrick.
I knew it's Hendrick.
No, it's...
Yes, it is.
Weaker.
Hendrick.
By the way, it's horrible that this comes in the podcast because I hate my middle name.
No, I like a middle name.
It's just like, I remember it was like a harsh word to say.
It's Hendrick, yeah, but Hendrick is fine.
Wait, I've got it.
Weaker Hendrick.
That's another one.
Weaker Hendrick.
No, I don't know.
Maria.
Oh, I didn't know that.
Maria.
We could cap.
Okay, what's mine then?
Yeah, come on.
What's my real name?
What's my real name, at least?
Agnes.
Yeah, well, exactly.
And then my middle name.
Yeah, Agnes.
Where does it start with?
E.
Elizabeth.
Yeah, well done.
Beaver Jones.
Well done.
Very good.
Go to coffee order.
What's his, Agis, Go to Coffee Order.
to coffee order. Can I go first for you?
Yours used to be a cappuccino
and then I changed you into a flat white kind of girl.
Yeah, because I wasn't really a coffee.
Extra points. I wasn't really a coffee
and then I met Aggie and Aggie is always
into coffee. You take normally a flat white,
just normal milk and then sometimes if she already had coffee
she takes like Dika flat white.
Oh wow. Oh, yeah.
Extra points to you.
Details.
And what else though? Oh no, this is a cute story actually.
you wrote me something happened i think i must have had like i got injured or something yeah and you went
into my locker and you put you got me a little mug from somewhere and you she wrote a little note on
it like thought you'd like this or something cute and then even the other day when i wasn't in the squad
you sent me a picture of like coffee and was like wish you were here or something we always go for
coffee we do on match day so she wasn't there and then i was getting coffee by myself and it was like
a little muck i have it at home also by myself i remember i remember this
Because you bought two and then was one for Aggie.
I remember this one.
That is actually really cute.
I would say that's true.
So cute.
That is so cute.
Do you like to drink coffee from it?
I love a handle this mug.
Yeah.
That's my weakness.
Any fans?
You want to get me handled as much?
That is actually really cute.
Really cute.
I'm thinking about your coffee order, by the way.
Ah, do you know mine?
Fun new your latte?
Yes.
Well done, week.
Well done.
Well done.
Well done.
Okay.
When you're out in a restaurant, her favorite drink.
Cola.
You usually take cola.
Cola zero?
Pepsi Cola.
Max, Pepsi.
Pepsi Max, Kola.
What's her?
You're close.
Fanta?
No, you hate Fanta.
I love Fanta lemon.
That's my summer drink.
But my go-to drink, fizzy drink.
Sprite?
You were close.
It was Diet Coke.
It was something with Coke.
Yeah.
You can kind of have a point.
Yours is iced tea peach.
I always have it in that order.
Not peach iced tea.
Ice tea.
Whenever she goes somewhere.
Ice tea peach.
You always have iced peach.
I always have iced peach at home.
It's good.
It's very good.
Yeah.
Okay.
And then we can ask favorite meal.
You are really good at making reps.
How do you say he did?
Yeah, for heat.
Yeah.
She's good at that.
She's good at that.
She made it once for me.
That was really nice.
Yeah, well, one time we had it at yours also.
Do you remember a long time ago?
Chicken fajitas with
Alcaccault and Katie.
What's that?
Oh yeah.
I was there.
I was there.
Eating food?
I don't know what yours is because you are a fussy eater.
What does fuzzy mean?
You're quite picky with your food.
Yeah, I am.
But I'd say sushi.
Yeah, I like sushi now.
Yeah, I like sushi now.
If it's good sushi.
Yeah.
If it's good sushi.
Yeah.
Or you like pancakes.
You love pancakes.
pancakes.
Yeah, I do.
I like pancakes.
You love pancakes.
What is on your pancakes?
Speculos.
Sometimes, speculose.
How do you call it in the...
I think it's Lotus, Beskov.
Oh, Bischoff.
Or Boudesuzaiker.
Yeah, great.
Is that like...
Like sort of sugar with white.
Like it's powder or something like that.
Oh, we say yeah, flu shocker in Sweden.
Oh, yeah.
We say icing sugar.
Iceing sugar.
Or powdered sugar.
Is that the white?
Yeah, it's like white.
It's like snow.
Yeah, yeah.
Sort of.
So,
so,
so.
So,
so.
So,
so.
So I think that's,
we didn't do birthdays.
Nay,
birthdays.
We started with that.
Yeah,
but we,
it's 29th of August,
2004.
Ah!
Lucey.
No, it's not.
28th of August.
No, it is 29th August,
but I'm from.
2005?
Yeah.
Oh.
Okay.
Why?
You're from 2003.
You're two years old.
Yeah, so when's my birthday?
You should know this.
19 of January.
Are you?
No, don't, don't, don't
annoy me. We won the euros on my birthday. You know that. Oh yeah, where did you? And when we lined up
in the in the meeting room the other day in birthday order. I was next to you. Yeah. You were.
Wow. Did you really think about that and then you knew my birthday? Yeah. Wow.
Okay, you lost. I win. I know, but can I just have a guess still? Good then. Okay, thanks.
Fifth of September. Yeah. What?
27th of July. Oh, 27th of July. Oh, 27th of
Oh yeah.
Yeah.
Not going to forget it now anymore.
Is it?
Oh.
Where have you been?
I hate us.
I think we should go to maybe one scenario and then some fan questions.
Okay, perfect.
This is where fans send in their anonymous dilemmas and we have to try to help them out.
Oh, I like this.
Do you like it?
Yeah.
Do you want to choose scenario one, two or three?
Two.
too. I've recently moved in with my boyfriend and I buy flapjacks every week because they're my favorite
snack. The problem is he keeps eating all of them before I even get one. I've mentioned it but he
laughs it off. Do I hide them? Do I hide them buy extra or make this a serious conversation?
I've got my opinion. Yeah, me too.
say it to him and don't make it too serious because it's not too serious.
He's not that deep. It's not that deep, no. Okay, so just be up front honest. Yeah, and he should
just understand. Yeah. Yeah, exactly. Silly boy. Yeah. Do you want another scenario? Yeah. Yeah. One or three.
Three. Okay. I play for a team and one of my teammates has a pregame ritual where she clips her
toenails in the changing room before every game. We sit next to each other and it really grosses me out
and the worst part is she just leaves them there on the floor
Oh, I actually feel sick
Is this true?
Is this really true that people send this in?
I don't know how to ask her to stop
Without sounding rude, what should I do?
Say it.
Oh, just say it.
This is the thing.
Just say it.
In Dutch, you're quite straight up.
Yeah, this is also very true.
Dutch people, you're very straight on.
In England, we would never do that.
We would talk about it.
Oh, I don't like these nails, maybe.
You just, yeah.
Is that right?
Yeah.
What is that?
Did you just eat some?
Yeah, except then they could be like, oh no, I just...
No, that's my toenails.
You could do it like that.
Yeah. That's what an English person would do.
We're too like, we're not straight up.
No, you...
Although, I'm not too...
I wouldn't...
No, you would.
Why lying?
You would? You'd be like, that's disgusting.
I would.
Probably, I would.
Yeah. Although, this happened in our changing room
and someone did do it right, and I said, I did say something,
because I thought...
When happened to this?
When...
I think I know.
Do you know?
You know what I think I know.
They were doing it in the bin, right?
I mean in the bin
should be fine, no?
Yeah, but not next to you.
You gotta go to, like, your bathroom.
Was she next to you or she went to the bathroom?
She went to the bathroom to do it.
Uh?
But I just thought,
maybe you can do it home.
Yeah.
I mean, if you haven't had time to do it.
Plus, like, you have to have good accuracy
to get it in there.
Like, if it's, it's clipped and then like,
and that is disgusting.
Or just it flew away.
You just can't pick up,
but someone is standing on it.
On your dirty toneout.
Of course, but if someone is going to the bathroom
and cut their toenails,
that should be,
fine. Maybe they have too long nails and it hurts in their boots or something.
Okay, but... Maybe they forget. Okay, but then go outside. Go outside on the pips.
No, but like some out of the flits, you're kind of too.
So it's like, I don't know, our own nails is a big no-no in the changing room for you. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, big no-no.
Like, no. Me too. It's the fact that they can like flick anywhere. Yeah, mean, let's say that the person,
like, cut them and then if they flick, they put them in the bin. Yeah, but no, but you go,
you always forget one. Exactly. You always forget one.
And then when you're in the home and you can just clean it, but then when you're...
Always forget.
Okay, sometimes when you click it, it flies, right?
Yeah, that's what I'm saying as well.
So different opinions on this one.
Yeah, so you have a different opinion to you.
Yeah, exactly.
You would be fine.
It was Neve, by the way, who did it?
Yeah, I know.
It was, I'm going to say it actually, I don't care.
It was Neve and I said to her, it depends on the person.
It's good that you, yeah, because I would say it to Neve and be like, what are you doing, that's great.
Yeah, true.
But if it was someone else, I'd be like, no.
Yeah, just look.
get it. Yeah, I think I would say it again. I would say it. Not maybe next to me and if you're doing it, go to
the bathroom, do it in the toilet or in the bin. To be fair, if you're going to do it, yeah,
do it in the toilet. I can't accept it, but I think it's wrong. Okay, can't accept it.
Okay, so we have some off-pitch life fan questions. Okay. So I'm a little bit deeper,
some are a little bit easier. We can start with the fun ones. So this is just a little side note.
Do you remember when we played hitster at home at YoYo's apartment? You, me, Lucy and Yo-Yo.
Do you know that I was cheating?
We were cheating.
No.
Oh, sorry, but what?
Seriously?
How did you cheat?
I'm serious? We didn't even...
Because you went out for a walk with Nala
and Lucy was somewhere, maybe a toilet.
And then I looked...
I'm not the one who usually cheats.
No, we all know who was yo again.
But this time it was actually me.
Ah! Wow.
You were so proud of me.
I'm really disappointed.
I know, I'm sorry.
It's okay.
Because we should have won.
Because we had Jurassic Park, wasn't it, when that big game won?
And I was like, Jurassic Park!
I had one, so Lucy had all the others because they were like 193.
So I just had to come clean.
I was the one cheating in that game.
Wow.
Do you feel disappointed in me?
Yeah.
I am really disappointed in you.
I know.
I hate cheating.
Yeah, but you need to make it up to me now.
I want to know if Yo-Yo cheated in that game of Yatzi.
Which game?
When she had a high record?
Yeah.
Well, that's what I want to know.
Kira, me and Yo-Yo were playing Yatsi, yeah, in the room.
And then Kira was messing up everything.
Literally, she wasn't paying attention
because she was messing up my line with her line
when she was doing the writing.
When was this?
I don't think, you were in your...
I left, you left, because they were playing again
and I was like, I'm not...
So we can just say we love to play Yatsi.
We love to play Yatsi.
Yeah, we love to play Yatsi.
Yeah, and then Yoyo just kept throwing good things
and then it all fits in.
It all fits.
Do you say good?
It all like, she got what she needed to get.
Exactly.
But I think it wasn't really, I don't know.
Yo-Yo is saying, yes.
Kira's saying, no, I'll be in the middle of it.
Okay.
But we all know that Yu-Yo is a cheater,
so that's why we're not really trusting it.
No, I understand.
And off Yo-Yo again.
But I also heard on the Yatsi that you almost took the lowest.
The lowest record in the team.
Yeah, and then I threw Yatsi.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I don't know.
And I true, yeah.
Because you have the lowest.
Yeah, I have the lowest.
Like hundreds.
I'm really sad that you got yesterday.
I'm really happy.
Fun for you.
Thank you.
If we're going to go for dinner,
who in the team would you choose to do starter, main and dessert?
To cook?
For you.
Oof.
Would you have the same person for everything?
To be honest, every time when we eat at yo-yo's,
I like yo-yo's food.
She's really clean.
Everything is really, you know it's good.
Yes.
So I would choose her.
for the main or do we just choose one?
You can choose one for the starter,
one for Maine, one for dessert.
So if you want...
I would choose yo-yo for the main.
When Orienne was here, the dessert,
the mango.
Mango dessert.
Oh, that was so good.
And then you tried to replicate it.
Yeah.
And did you?
No, it was so bad.
It was so bad.
I literally took a spoon and...
Oh, it's horrible.
Yeah.
So it didn't work out.
And then starter.
I have some.
but
you can similar.
Remember when
Z made pizzas?
Yeah, I'd have Z.
Yeah.
I want Z as much.
And then she was pregnant
and we didn't know
we just didn't notice anything.
And she was pregnant at the time.
And she was pregnant that time.
But I would pick Z for all of them.
She's unbelievable.
Yeah.
Yeah.
The pizzas were really good though.
So good.
Yeah.
And she's just so cool.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Missy.
Yeah.
What has been your favorite of pitch moment this season?
Oh.
We went to
Brighton when we had like an off day we could see that that was really cute we had a lot but we went to
brighton we went shopping and then i had my had a tattoo there so that was really nice get your tattoo out
show us yeah come on it's nice i'm gonna do it girls but yeah we went to bright and then we went for
really nice food didn't we um yeah and then i'd been there before and my friend got a tattoo on a walk in so
then weka went and got a walk in as well it's really dry she doesn't moisturised that it's
Anyways, you have to tell them what it says, though,
and the meaning behind it, if you want.
You don't have to if you don't want to.
No, it's just, I've done intuition
because sometimes, of course, in football and in normal life,
you need to make choices and playing and everything.
And I don't know how to say it good.
Like, I'm really a instinct person, sensitive person.
So sometimes when you talk with your psychologist,
psychologist.
He always says to follow my intuition.
I think this last, when we were there last month,
so it was the right time to,
I always wanted to have it.
But then I thought it was the right time
to put it on my body.
That's a bit weird.
But like, it's really nice.
Yeah, I think that's quite how I am.
And I just want to follow my intuition.
And also on the pitch, like,
I'm a player who.
Trust your gut.
Yeah, exactly.
And if I'm too much,
thinking about things it's not going well so yeah that's good but that also takes in a bit maybe like
when you go through different things on pitch or like private life and like how do you help each other
and support each other going through injuries or like not playing as much as maybe you want how do you
help each other with that yeah i mean i think it's really really hard and if i'm honest i don't think
it's spoken enough about i think it's i mean on my tattoo yeah i've got a tattoo that says sonda
which means like similar like everyone's got their own complex like
as unique as your own and you never know what's going on in someone's life.
I remember this last year when you talked about it the first time and exactly in that moment
where we walked there, something really happened. Something happened and we were both there and we
were like, oh that I need to get it now. Like a moment happened. It's like a sign. Yeah, we saw these
fans and they were trying to get to the hospital. Not fans, sorry. No, just we were. They didn't even
know us and they just trying to get to the hospital for someone who was in need and they really needed
to rush to there and they were really like, oh, can you help us, help us? And they had like an old
map like a card and we were just like on our phone of course because I think they didn't even have
it and then we just walked to them to the hospital and they were just telling us their life story
and we had a game and I remember I then scored in that game and we did the and we did a little
thing and we all that's like so little but it was something cute but yeah no I would just say yeah like
along those lines you never know what's going on in someone's life and I think football is quite
a fickle industry sometimes like you can always get injuries I think and sometimes you
times you don't have the best of games but we're so lucky that to have people around you that support
one another and we all like we're all in the same boat and yeah exactly and we have each other to talk
about exactly if something happened or if we're not having our best game or not our best time so
i think that's really important also to have the right person where you can say everything to
so yeah it's nice to have someone that you can speak with outside football that you know outside
football kind of like me and you or like you too like you have someone and also knows the environment
but also
exactly
yeah
yeah
I think
that's quite good
was that
your question
like from the tablet
or from
I was here
I baked it in
quite good
yeah
do you have
other deep questions
we can discuss
what would you
bring to Chelsea
what do you want
to get into this team
wow that's a deep question
maybe or like
obviously you
came from
home
first time you moved
away from home
yeah
like how do you
find
the transition
to
come to a new country, young, new language, new club.
Like, I think people don't understand how difficult that is at that age to leave everything
you know and your family.
Yeah, I'm really, really good with my family.
So that was quite a challenge, yeah.
And I was always thinking, like, I'm really a person who enjoys it to be with other people.
So I was really thinking, like, I'm not going to live alone.
I can't do it.
And then when I was 17, of course, I said.
signed for Chelsea then I stayed at 20 and at 18 I needed to make the step so I had a year to
think about everything so that was really nice I talked about with my close friends about it a lot
so that was that was quite good and then when the step came I think sometimes I have it difficult
when I come home and you're alone and everything but like yeah I yeah I make good friends here of you guys
so I think that's what I've learned a lot that you can be out of your comfort zone and make new friends
and the most, I think it's not even about football
and the most proud of is I think
that I am really enjoying it now to be sometimes alone
and that's quite nice
because I was really, really scared to go live alone
so I think that's really good
but still of course like I miss my family a lot
I miss home
but yeah I've tried to make like
a little bit of your new, a new family
here that's what I want to bring to Chelsea too
but yeah
but that's good like you said
you need to be comfortable
in your own silence or like by yourself on your own yeah but it is difficult it's and also with
the schedule because you can't go home and visit your parents no exactly as you want and they are
working so it's hard for them to come here yeah exactly so i think you have made the most of it yeah
like you've really flourished in my opinion like like like a flower like you sprouted it like
but it's true like you used to like like even cooking for yourself but it's true you yeah make the best
meals and now you're like inviting people around for good meals
It's true, though.
Yeah, I wasn't really a good cook.
No, yeah, that's true.
Yeah, but like, you're growing very quickly, I'd say.
Like, you are still very young.
I forget that sometimes.
Yeah, you both are very young.
Yeah, but, you too.
Yeah, but, like.
And me.
But it's true, I do think you're doing a very good job.
Yeah, you're all of me completely away from home.
Thank you.
But how do you feel, Agie?
I mean, you've been here for a long time and growing up here.
Yeah.
How do you feel being in the same?
Obviously, you've been at different places.
stole in Everton.
But how do you feel like taking that step from the academy
then up to the senior team and staying in like one place
over a longer period of time?
Do you feel like you want to do not do something else?
But like do you want to see other parts of the world?
Do you want to move maybe out from home?
These kind of stuff.
Like do you know what I mean?
Yeah, no idea.
Yeah, no, I think like obviously coming from the academy
is something I'm so like proud of.
And especially like I was chatting to someone about it the other day like we, when we were like 16, we were all sat in a room and like our coach would be like one of you is going to make it into the senior team like who wants it.
And I remember we'd all look at each other like who's it going to be.
And we had like a really good age group.
I had like Emily Murphy who actually initially made the jump.
Charlotte Wardlaw like Georgia Fox.
And then I think obviously I had my opportunity.
And I remember when I actually got told like you're going on loan and asking why am I going on loan?
Like I want to fight here like against all these world class players.
But like I've said it in every interview I've ever done, like, if I didn't go on loan to those Everton, Bristol, like, I wouldn't be where I am today.
But, yeah, obviously Chelsea feels like home to me. It's like, I'm from like 20 minutes around the corner.
Still live at home now. That's fine. That's our answer.
Sorry, I was like, can I see it? Okay, I've said.
Yeah, no, like, obviously this is my club. It always will be.
And yeah, like, I never take for granted being able to play this club. And I think, like, I have to credit, like, Emma for everything she did for the club.
and like she put me into the position I am
and like for that I'll always be so so grateful for her
and it was so nice I saw it obviously when we played Arsenal
the other day I saw her and like caught up with her
and it was so nice to kind of see that face again
and be like even just like reminisce like over the old times and stuff
but like obviously the new Chelsea that's here today
and it's like we're still going for the same common goal
that we want to win and that's still so exciting
but yeah I mean
yeah but I remember like even like when you came to Everton
you were young.
Yeah, I was, I was worried.
Yeah, she had the two braids like this that she played with.
And it's like, as for me, yeah, it was so cute.
And you were young and you, yeah, obviously we're in Bristol, but it's different.
You lived far away from home this time and, like, with new people and stuff.
Yeah, it was a bit like you, like, when I was at Bristol, like,
I had a family friend there who I could go for dinner with, whereas, like, in Everton,
I was actually living in this, like, massive apartment block, like, on the top floor,
and I was like, this is so daunting and scared.
But, like, I really grew up and I had to learn a lot about myself.
And, like, you said you get to, like...
enjoy your own company.
Yeah, exactly.
And I think it was such a learning curve.
And I think like even now that's why I sit,
everyone, it feels like not a step back,
but I've come back to Chelsea
and I've gone back moving into home.
So it's like I moved out twice.
Yeah, but it is difficult
when you've been living by yourself to go back.
But it's just, like for me to see you,
like first, obviously in Everton,
and we're like, we both were young.
That's cute.
Not with beach blonde hair.
I was like, yeah, you had a lot of hair colors.
For another time.
And then like coming here and it's like,
we're playing together and like,
Also, for me, you grown so much from, like, that.
So cute that you guys know each other, to be honest, already.
It's crazy.
Do you know, I loved her the fact that I had you for Secret Santa in Everton
and I had you this year as well.
And it was so fun.
I got her the cutest.
Noghast.
That yaya.
She was going to give me a pillow off yaya.
And it spent, it took like four weeks to come.
And she thought it was going to be like this.
It was literally.
And it was like, yeah, it was like this.
Was it so little?
And she was in a Portugal kit that I didn't.
And she's Italian.
Oh.
It was like a bikini in her face.
Oh no.
And it was in a Portuguese kid.
I was like, I don't know what I ordered.
But anyway, I was like, it looked.
The shape of that pillar was a little bit weird.
Yeah.
It was cute.
But it was better this year.
And that's why I remember when you came to Chelsea and I was like, this is so nice.
Because I knew how like capable you were.
And you were always one of the best players at everything.
And then you came and yo-yo and everything just fit perfectly.
And now look at you.
It's cute.
Just to clarify, I feel like I've made it sound bad.
But I don't love living with my family.
family I do to my family.
Shout out.
Shout out to family.
Do you know, I just remember a good memory that we had this year outside of football
playing paddle with my dad.
Oh, it was so fun.
It was so...
You've booked the wrong thing because it was going to rain, but she...
It was inside normally.
But now she booked like...
She meant to play paddle inside, but then all the courts were booked and I was like, well,
my dad had a paddle job opportunity the next day.
So I was like, oh, I needed to play with him.
So we played outside in the rain.
And it was really funny, though.
It was raining so hard.
you couldn't even smash the ball anymore because it was not bouncing anymore because of the radar.
But he had the best time. Every time I see him now, he says like, when are we going to play then?
When I'm going to go play again with him. Yeah, we really do. We really do. It was really sweet.
When my ankle is better, we will play. Yeah, exactly.
Get fit first. Yeah, I play part of that. We need you.
I think we've been doing quite a lot. Quite well, yeah. I think so. I'm feeling very, I'm very satisfied.
Me too. I am really happy.
And we didn't sing a lot of songs, which we said we were going to do.
Yeah.
You think we need the theme tune for a nap.
Yeah.
For being the hoofs.
Ring.
Ring.
Da-la-per-seud.
Da-da-da-da.
It's perfect.
Then I can say, thanks for joining us for a special episode of We Are Chelsea.
