Starting point is 00:00:00 Thank you. I'm Good evening. Good evening. Good evening. Good evening. This is our, show here for Monday, February the 20th. Happy President's Day, by the way, to all who celebrate every last one of you celebrating President's Day. If you got a day off, hey, that's cool. Lucky you. We're here ready to talk about stuff we've seen. office numbers and more. We'll get into it up. We were just at the movies. Please welcome Sadek. Oh, man. You're giving away private information. I know. Sorry.
Starting point is 00:01:14 I don't want on our date. Super fun, except for the movie. Everything about the evening was cool except for the movie. Speaking of cool dudes coming in live from the sun, Eric Siska. Hello, hello. And yes, happy president's day. I hope you unwrapped all your you got this morning. The last little boy to actually do that was Lee Harvey Oswald. And you know him. You love him. Mr. Library himself. Chris Cabin.
Starting point is 00:01:47 Hi. Hi, guys. Sorry. Was that a quantum leap novel? That was a quantum leap novel. That we were gifted by a very sweet fan. I'm not actually reading it, but I should. I have to tell you it's amazing. I open to chapter 11, which I will be familiar with. I will be familiar with, I will be familiar with, I'm but it's hilarious because they quote Sir Walter Scott at the top of chapter 11 in the quantum leap book about him meeting the Lochness monster. Wait, he's literally made the lockness monster in that one? He leaps into a guy whose son is trying to prove that the
Starting point is 00:02:26 lockness monster exists. It actually turns out. It actually turns out. It actually sounds like it's like a lot. It would be great. Like if he he leaped into Bigfoot and then he looks in the mirror and he's like, oh boy. Oh, oh boy. Now I'm a Sasquatch. Al, I'm a Sasquatch. Shave me. Shave me down. Hell yeah, hell yeah, just you guys, just had a good weekend. I know, I know Steve had a great Friday night, he's hanging out with me. I also, I saw, Eric, you'll love this. I got totally fucked on a signed seating last night. We did the Crotching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, Regal Union was doing it.
Starting point is 00:03:13 And there was just a lady in our seats. uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, she was, uh, and I was, she was drinking orange juice out of, like a sippy cup. And I'm like, you know what? I'm like, I'm not going to bother this lady because she probably doesn't have a ticket at all. So I go to the, we go to the other seats and I'm like, I'll just move over here. Somebody comes gets us. Go to the other seats. Somebody comes gets us. Really? We moved three times and and wound up at the second row, which was miserable. That is terrible.
Starting point is 00:03:47 You gotta get you know, sure. They need to get a whole rebel to do this across all these things. Change the dynamic. Make everyone hate it again. I mean, but you're not going to find many ladies who are like mid-move and decide to go to the movies with all
Starting point is 00:04:05 their stuff from their last apartment. Like that's not, that's not a normal thing to do. I don't know if this lady had a last department, man. I don't think she had a last department. I don't think she has another apartment to go too, excuse me, I'm not going to be like, ma'am, could you please move?
Starting point is 00:04:21 could you take all of your earthly possessions off my seats, please? F-9 on my little app on my phone, oh, you don't have a phone? Okay, but on my phone, I don't have an app that says you have to move. So I just was like, you know what, dude? We're just going to move.
Starting point is 00:04:35 Your bag of old financial times are taking out my seat, madam. Old financial times. Yeah, I mean, you know, you'd be blessed if it was just a film form old time. Oh, if it was just some old bastard, like, like, fuck face move. Yeah, totally.
Starting point is 00:04:55 They start shoving them. Yeah. Try it, old man. Yeah, that goes to shove. Kind of sounds like she'd be, like, throwing shit at you or something, though. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:05:05 But she was excited to see Crouching Tiger. She was, yeah, for sure. I'm surprised it was that sold out. It was great. Yeah, it really filled up. Yeah, I like that. Yeah. But unfortunately, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh,
Starting point is 00:05:21 five here for the let's check around the box office real quick. is high as gross. I was sweet All right. to get right into the top five here. Because I know you guys, you three guys, were really concerned last week about its fall from grace.
Starting point is 00:05:45 Let me tell you, back at number five, 80 for Brady, back in it. back in it these ladies. God bless them. Sally field. They are They are lured up. Do you think Diane Keaton was said no kind of a thing? Or is she going to be
Starting point is 00:06:06 an 81 for Brady? Yeah. The sequel, they need to add something. They have a big spice to add. That's true. Yeah, yeah. And it's perfect for that. Like Diane Keaton's character wants to go to the museum or something. He's like, now we're going to Gillette's
Starting point is 00:06:20 stadium you fucking moron. They could make this a big, you could do lady for Brady. That could be like him dating someone. What other D. Y word is there. Dude, I bet you anything lady for Brady has turned into some fucking abhorrent reality television show. Haiti for Brady. Haiti for Brady. And they, you know, the Haitians kill him. Uh, that's definitely a good idea. Brady for Brady. One of his teammates has awesome braids and the locker room is like, hey man, can you get? me one of those. Brady for Brady. Dude, Brady for Brady. It's just 45 minutes of him, 9ing himself. I like that one the best. I also think Beatty for Brady, where he has to face off with Warren Beatty.
Starting point is 00:07:03 All right. His fight is probably the best one. And the winner, the winner gets the Dick Tracy rights. That's how that works. Yeah, finally. Finally, he'll let maybe somebody take it. Maybe Tom Brady is our next fucking Dick Tracy. Oh, man, I'd love that.
Starting point is 00:07:19 uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, and it's, uh, uh, like, uh, it expanded. It expanded to other theaters, which I don't know why they just decided not to release it wide on Valentine's Day week. I think they watched the show. Yeah. I think they watched the show last week and heard me calling him fucking idiots because they doubled nearly doubled the amount of screens like, oh, fuck. Let's get in on this well we can to make it, you know, it's around like 3,000 some odd screens. uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, what's, uh, uh, like, uh,
Starting point is 00:07:55 it's like that's like that's fucking stupid. That's, that, that, that fucking stupid, which is, uh, pretty fucking stupid. Well, hopefully people watch, uh, my bloody valentine around the how holiday. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. That's right. Um, you know, you cannot kill this fucker man. He's got at least 12 lives at this point. Put some boots. The last wish. Holden struck. at number three, still $7 million dollars. That's crazy. It's going to be it's going to be one of the most motion motion pictures in history. You'll be
Starting point is 00:08:27 hearing. Your children will be hearing about pussy boots raining at the box office. At this point, why wouldn't you just like within like a week make a shitty animated movie like from like the blockiest shit and just put it out just to get some of the heat off at this thing? Because like they just haven't released anything
Starting point is 00:08:43 to come near it for kids movies. It's amazing. What's the next big animated? Is there a big one in the summer? that we're Pixar probably Pixar probably yeah I don't know I don't know that in front of me no no no sir
Starting point is 00:08:57 I mean I'm sure there's going to be like a Pixar thing I'm sure there's like a bunch of Sony animation whatever yes Sony's stuff oh well that's actually that's the fucking oh yes spider bird
Starting point is 00:09:10 so that'll oh okay that's gonna make so much fucking money it's gonna be ridiculous oh my god it's gonna be ridiculous nice to be excited about a Marvel movie for me, it feels nice. It has to be a Marvel movie movie. It has to be. It's just a speaking of ridiculous cartoons. There you go. Holden. You cannot fucking beat Jimmy Cam's dude.
Starting point is 00:09:35 No. Week 10. Here we are. Big 10 weeks at the box office. Another 7.5 or if you can even believe it. There's substantial cartoons. Excuse me, sir. Yeah. Ridiculous cartoons. Right. People must be going again and again, you know? Oh yeah. And then. Oh, yeah. oh yeah, jerking it, getting blue, getting blue balls in the theater there. dude, jerking it's jerking it's so hard, your fucking camera's going out of fucking. I know. Also, because I'm, I'm, like, so pale and it's so sunny in here, it doesn't know what, it thinks I'm the wall. Well, we're broadcasting solar base five, you know, you're going to have to change when we do this for, maybe we should do this towards sunset now. Okay, I like it.
Starting point is 00:10:13 On the ship from sunshine. Yeah, dark Cisca. You're going to restart the sun, dude? Yeah, yeah. I'm going to restart the sun. him and Killian have got it. And then here we go. surprise. We're going to go from one segment
Starting point is 00:10:30 into another one talking about it. Ant Man and the Wasp, Quantum Mania. Look at this fucking figure here. $118 million, over $200 million worldwide. No, of course. It's cool because they call it Ant Man and the Wasp because they forget about the wasp the entire time. And then at the end, they're like, oh yeah,
Starting point is 00:10:48 got to get through. you're the second build. all these guys saw it. I haven't seen it yet. I'm a bit behind. wasn't the wasp anti-vax? Maybe they cut back her role for that. Oh, was she?
Starting point is 00:11:01 Maybe. She made a big stink about you know, forced vaccination such as it is. She is most of the time listening to Diane, not Diane Keaton the brain, Michelle Pfeiffer, give exquisition. Like they're just, it's like
Starting point is 00:11:17 Michael Keaton, her, and, and what you would call it, and, uh, uh, uh, literally literally, uh, uh, like, like, like, uh, like, uh, like, uh, breakfast, duck. Well, Michelle Pfefer tells you what the movie's about. Like, it's, it's, it's, I think I sat in a kitchen table like this. A friend of the show, friends of the show, J.J. Case and Sean Weiner used to have an apartment in Chinatown. Yes. Where I am fairly certain that fucking corner kitchen nook table was seen in the motion picture. And man, you are watching them commute for like, it's all ship stuff. You would think, that if she's had anti-vax, I mean, if Wakanda Forever is any sense, you know, and you would think you would put her at the front, put Ross.
Starting point is 00:12:05 It's a mosque's movie, actually. Shazam is also anti-vax. Yeah, and he's putting him in the front. So, yeah, I don't understand that correlation. But yeah, it is, they steal, like, I, I always am. like, hang on, hang on, we should, we should, but hang on. We aren't going to give away any big spoilers here. So nobody has to tune out if you haven't seen it. We're just going to be generally giving our thoughts about the film. We're going to try. We might fuck up, FYI. I just, it's one of those things with them. I mean, we've talked about it a hundred times about how like they're homage crazy. Like it's all of these scenes that you are certain you've seen before. But they are just slightly tweaked to a point where they look more marvelized. Like, the big, the big, escape scene, a bunch of ships are going on, and I'm telling you, the Harkonen raid, nighttime raid on the Atreides fleet from Dune. It looks almost identical. It does not look almost identical. It looks worse, right? It looks so, the special effects of this movie, you cannot undersell how bad they look. Honestly, you look at, you look at, there's like six special effects houses at the end of this movie when you're
Starting point is 00:13:17 waiting for the second stinger. It's just like team after team after team. It's just got um, um, um, and that's, and that's the bummer of it because this is supposed to be. I mean, again, Jonathan Majors is fantastic. Um, nobody else has enough room to do anything. There's five people with the same power set. They're all good guys. They all dream. You know what I mean? Like that's, that's kind of a problem. The other thing, I mean, just to get into another just issue about that with all of the, the fucking ant family like, sure, like, Michael Douglas, Michael
Starting point is 00:13:51 the first Ant-M, Michelle Michelle Fyfer, the first Wasp, Evangeline, and Paul are like the new generation, but then you got this fucking Cassie, this fucking Ant-Man's daughter, and like, that one doesn't even have a name.
Starting point is 00:14:07 She's just Cassie with an Ant-Man suit on. Disgusting shit girl? It's a disgusting shit-girl situation. Yes, you totally fucking right, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, it's, it's, uh, , her name, freaky. She's, uh, Catherine Newton, I want to say something like that. Yeah, that sounds about right. Oh, the movie freaky. I thought that was pretty good.
Starting point is 00:14:26 She's like, she's fine in this as like, but the problem is this movie doesn't have, I think that, like, the first aunt man's really good. It's a heist movie. It's got a real, I really fucking like that movie, man. It's got a real sense of place and a real like, this is, we're sitting in San Francisco. These are all his scubby friends. He's a hard, like, blah, blah. And now he's just adrift in space nonsense. We never figure out. We never figure out. We never figure out what the thing is supposed to be. It's supposed to look like. Who the people are who are under Kang's thumb? Like we never like at the end when like the dude from the good place and that other lady are like freedom. I'm like from what? Is he taxing you? Is he like are you like not able to go something? What? What is he doing to you specifically? All those. All those and more, Steve. Yeah. It's so crazy how that is. is just like, like, like, like, like, like, like, just like, like, like, is just like, William Jackson Harper.
Starting point is 00:15:24 Why do you want to get out of here? Yes. Why is this rebellion being led? Who are any of those people? Why does it matter? Even if there was, you go, Chris. Because those things would be like exposition that isn't exposition for the great arc that's just for this movie is lame.
Starting point is 00:15:42 Yeah. Like, they don't want to do it anymore. Because it slows down jokes. They just want to just like, no, right? Like, you get it, right? And majors, this whole thing is like, yes, he's just a dictator. Like, he just has general pressure on all things. Like, and you never make any, any movement towards like giving us a sense like that this is about anything.
Starting point is 00:16:04 Then focusing on Kang. Yes. It's all about Kang. I don't even think Atman is that important to this movie. No, not at all. They could have given any, any one. of these fucking superheroes and just be like, Kang has been trapped wherever the fuck you can go. It does not matter that this is Ant man at all. Even going from the Thanos playbook of, you know, in the first Avengers
Starting point is 00:16:26 movie, he's a big cartoon ape at the end and he smiles. And that's like, ooh, Thano's coming. And then like they kind of filter him in one or two of those guardians movies, but you never really see him until Infinity War, right? You know what I mean? You see him a little bit, but that's the big reveal. That's, and that's when you find out what his mission is and all that stuff. Why does this need to be, why does Marvel need a farm system? Like, like, like, like, like, like, like, why does he have to, why does he have to, like, why does he have to, like, fucking go two and ten on the Buffalo Bills as a quarterback? And then get traded to the LA Rams. Like, it doesn't make sense. Like, we don't need a farm system. Just make the movie you want to make. And then I'll watch it as opposed to telling me you're going to make the movie. Yep. I don't need to see this guy like scratching his nuts in the dugout, dude.
Starting point is 00:17:08 Like, I want to see this guy at the plate. And like, like, Steve, when we left. the theater, I think, I think, I think, because it feels like, you know, you know, you know, you know, uh, uh, and you're like, oh, I want to read the whatever, you know, story arc. And it's cool because it'll aggregate, like, all the different single issues where important parts of that story, like, wound up. And you can read, you know, you read across different titles or whatever. And sometimes that'll be like one issue, right? Where it's like, someone did one thing in this ant man issue. So we're including it in the whole thing. That's what this feels like is a movie where it's just a movie. You can do that with comics. There's a new one every 30 days. This is just an incredible waste of resources. People's time and money. Just get to him at the
Starting point is 00:17:59 plate. I don't care about this little step before the bigger step. It's a wait. And or actually make a third Ant Man movie, which you didn't do. Yep. I'm very, you know, I'm okay with that second. one, even that is an ant man movie. I can say that's. The thing with that's the thing was, you want to be a ant man. You want to make him. That's their big thing is they want to make him. And I think that's what they're trying to do with majors very slowly. And they do it with another villain character in the movie proper, which is ridiculous. I'm not going to, I'm not going to spoil it because it's kind of like a reveal. But I'm sorry, that's the worst. That's the worst. fucking thing. It's pretty bad. It's bad. It's bad. It's bad. It's just not. It's just not. I was not funny. I was not laughing at it. I was not laughing with it. And I will say on that note, audience reaction wise, I mean, Steve, correct me if I'm wrong. It was like a fucking funeral in that theater. And those two stinger scenes, dude, you could feel the collective shrug. Just a big what the fuck ever. The two stingers are the same stinger, practice. pretty much. It's like, they were they were they were like, you want to do. You know what I mean? Also, can I just say that the bleakest thing in all of capitalism. And it's hold over from the first anime movie is when these major corporations spend millions of dollars to be part of a new superhero franchise and the way that they get to do that is to make fun of their own employees. The basket robin shit always bothered me. It's like, aren't you a fucking sucker for working for us? Imagine if Ant-Man still worked at Baskin-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-Bas-Robins. What a loser he'd be paid for by Baskin-Robins. And to have these stingers and none of them is the wasps behind.
Starting point is 00:19:55 Exactly. Oh, that big old ass with a little stinger on it. Yeah, they should show that. They should show that. That's what we want out of movies. Yeah, I don't know. You know, there's not much more to say without getting into the weeds and spoiling things, but just wolf city man and I think I think I have a lot of goodwill to those ant man movies and this is not an ant man movie oh actually one quick thing um this should have been the easiest fucking home run as far as like how you're making stuff look in this quantum realm how do you fuck up making this appealing for stoners to be staring at the screen with chips and queso going down their gullet while they're watching the movie like this is just the
Starting point is 00:20:42 muddies, brown turd uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, you. , uh, like, like, that's, that's, that's what happens when you, like Steve said, it, but you, you, you get 16 companies to do the special effects. There's no vision through line for any of it because you've got different houses working on. And what you're doing is, is a worse, it's amazing. It's actually a kind of a worse version of what love and thunder did with the Rick and Morty model. Like all the characters are supposed to be like, cute, but dangerous.
Starting point is 00:21:12 the whole thing. The scenes in the the spaceships are you're not. It annoys the shit out of me. This is also a Rick and Morty writer, so they really lead into your criticism there. But it is, I agree with that though. And I mean, I think that like it's so important to like give this, if you're going to make this big
Starting point is 00:21:34 movie, make it big, give it scope, actually care about the special effects. Send the special effects back. When that big reveal what you reveal, and I'm the, and I'm the, I'm the, I'm like, I'm not fucking putting this on screen, dude. You got to go back. We're delaying the six months till you figure that shit out. Send it back, chef. Exactly. Uh, yeah, that's all that. Uh, so let's move on because we could indeed be here all day and we do have a drawing to get to. Uh, but Eric, really quickly here. Yes, yes, yes. Marlowe, man, me and you, I caught Marlowe fever. caught Marlow fever. I went and I was expecting it to be the usual Neil Jordan has been for a while for me, but I feel like this movie just nailed everything
Starting point is 00:22:23 I wanted out of it. It's kind of like you're like hanging out in like 1939 and it's beautiful. It's the cinematography is fantastic. Like it looks I'm praising it but your results might vary Yeah, just no, it, it's not a Liam Neeson movie. Like, like, like, like, like, like, he does have a little bit of a body count, but it's a slow, bean noir detective movie made in 2022 and released in 2023. Like, it's a very different speed. And I think that might be what is tripping a lot of people up. I, I could see myself watching this movie in a couple of months when it's on streaming. Everybody goes to bed. I have a glass of whiskey. And I'm like, let's, let's have an old man night. I'm looking for, I I'm looking forward to it's a very dad for nooner. I figure, I think, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, like, yeah, I, I, I, I, like, a movie. Uh, but, like, this is a movie that is completely out of time, like, it's, like, it's, yeah. Movies like this don't come around that often. And when they do, it's usually off of, like, a big, uh, like, uh, a circuit, a festival circuit, like, you would hear, like, some minor thing, but this is a big thing. And yeah. It's amazing, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, it is, this is an odd time for this movie. Yeah, yeah, yeah, you know, it's not about getting to the next thing or setting up the next thing, so. Yep, no, exactly. There's, there are exactly zero stingers in the movie, which is nice. And also another, another. I'm pissing me pants.
Starting point is 00:24:08 Yeah, look out for me stinger. I go around town. Watch out for me bum. My bum is coming for you. The other thing, too, that they could have done because if you wanted to make this a Liam Neeson movie, right? You set it in present day and it's like, yeah, I'm fucking Marlowe. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:24:30 And it would be like terrible. Yeah. The scar on his face. period. Period. Yeah, yeah. So let's get to the drawing here. I just will say really quickly, just a quick update. I did watch the first episode of Picard's season three last week.
Starting point is 00:24:48 I think it fucking ruled. I had a really, really good time. It was awesome seeing him. The first episode is basically you get a little bit of Beverly, and then it's Picard and Riker, like doing shit, like trying to trick this. Can I ask you something? Yeah. Is Elnor? Are they like, come on, right? One second. Elnor, can you? I've got all these exciting characters that I want to mix with Riker. They know what's going on, dude. And they know when to flush the fucking toilet because Elnor is gone. He died in season two? No, he's just like off like studying at Starfleeter. I'm sure he is. He fucking did the Chuck Conning.
Starting point is 00:25:33 him and went upstairs, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, you have, uh, and she's the commander of the titan. She's a great character. Um, the woman who plays Ravi, Michelle Hurd is still on it. She's like, now like Starfleet intelligence, like kind of strung out on drugs almost. Like, interesting stuff with her, but then that's it. Like, Allison Pill in the last season became the new board queen and fucked off to the far reaches of space. Like, okay. The rest of them are gone. The, the, Captain Chris, they went back in time, they went them there. You can tell. You can tell you're really refocusing to be like the two women that everybody really kind of liked from previous Picard shit. But then everything else is going to be new new versions of TNG characters. Can I as someone who absolutely skip that second season just jump into this third one? Is that what I'm able to? I'm probably going to do it. I'm going to give it a shot. The only thing you, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like,
Starting point is 00:26:42 like, like, living together at the, oh, we're just kind of, like, living together figuring it out. Yeah, you know, we're both very, uh, career focused, you know. You know, we're fighting over who puts their records where. I'm like, hey, man, can I put my records here? My old lady's giving me a lot of shit about my records. You know, I was told that. next mission was to care for this child
Starting point is 00:27:05 can not be taken over by robotics. I have to get her I have to get her to called the fireflies. Just give us another season, okay? I'm tired of doing the Last of Us fan fiction. Just let me go.
Starting point is 00:27:21 So I will 100% be continuing it. And I think if you haven't seen literally any of Picard, you can pick up this season three. And a lot of people are saying like, oh, it's like TNG season 8, and I agree with Keith Phipps, the great TNG sendoff movies. It more feels like we're getting like a
Starting point is 00:27:41 movie kind of story. Like a nemesis? Way better than nemesis so far. It would almost have to be. So anyway, maybe I'll weekly check in with Picard if I can keep on schedule. Okay. So anyway, the big moment is here. Steve and Chris went through hundreds. if not thousands of emails and calls, getting all these requests together. It's a big lift here. Thank you for everyone who called in and all the patrons who wrote in their selections. We're going to get right into it. I think, Steve. Do you have a way you think we should do this? I guess I'll go first and then Andrew's second, Chris, third, and then Eric with his special one will go last. Special one coming up. We'll talk about. But I do. to think everybody who calls always says something. Everyone who calls always says something. It's very sweet to hear those that I really appreciate the time people think. Also, just an FYI, and this is not even being snotty or anything. Check out that episodes tab, dude. There are movies that you're requesting that you're so excited about. They're already done. We've done Mario, brother. So like, even if you're sitting there like, oh, my movie didn't get picked, maybe it did in the past. Oh, shit. That's right, dude. Yep. Think about it. This is some time bending shit right here.
Starting point is 00:29:01 WHM podcast podcast. They are there. They are there. We've got like that. Look at that. It's like that. Check in the past. Oh, no. I already did that movie in the past. Oh, oh. So, all right. Steve, go ahead. Here's the first one here. These, now these are the we hate movies. Available wherever you get your podcast, main feed episodes. So the first and we'll probably wind up changing the order of these as we decide. But, you know, the first. what we're picking. Patrick Ewing, did they, this is, this is exciting. We are doing a Stallone movie called Driven. That's that like Reese car movie of his. Yes. I thought it was a little dull when I saw it years ago, but I think there's plenty of meat on that bone somewhere. I like it. I saw Driven in
Starting point is 00:30:01 theaters. Is Casper Van Dean? Oh my god. That sounds terrible. He probably is 2001. You guys keep going. It is. It is the Reni Harlan movie. Bert Reynolds is in this movie. Yes, that's right. It's like a passing of the torch. You might be thinking of somebody named Kip Perdue is the other guy. Okay. Part two, there you go, that's exactly what I'm, there you go. Don't. Sub Casper Van Deen, so that's where we're at. All right, here. So I'm going to do the next one. Now I just make sure, yep, okay. I was making sure I didn't have the Patreon one by actually.
Starting point is 00:30:49 So we're going to mix it all up here. Ooh, the sun's coming in here, Eric. I'm going to start melting soon too. All right. I'll try to find a solution, a gentle viewer. where we'll maybe block out the sun or something. is a good idea. I have one here.
Starting point is 00:31:06 I'm just, I'm trying to put it into the universe now. Like, please, God, go easy on us this month. Like, so far, okay with Driven. Driven, not too shabby. We can work with Driven. All right, so let's just please, Christ Almighty. We're gonna get one.
Starting point is 00:31:21 Oh, okay. Oh, boy. Ooh. Oh, this is one I've never seen, but you guys are always getting the hair on the back of your neck. standing up and oft requested I'm like that's like that
Starting point is 00:31:34 yeah no equilibrium oh boy yeah I cut out for a second I think what was the movie I missed it yeah it's we got gun caught in that thing lots of oh nice oh equilibrium equilibrium yeah yeah the feed cut out for me so I missed oh there you go sorry dude now you're back yeah you're getting a little that's awesome
Starting point is 00:31:58 that's a good one to do yeah A Kurt Wimmer special baby. Oh, from the best. From the best. Which is perfect because his new movie, remake of Children of the Corn, is coming out in like a week or two. Oh, that's exciting.
Starting point is 00:32:13 We'll be able to do some synchronicity. All the Vimmerheads will be enjoying. Didn't they just reboot that fucking terrible franchise? We're always doing it. It's over and over again. There's sequels and then remakes. But it's Children of the Corn.
Starting point is 00:32:28 Who gives a fuck? Nobody does, but Kurt Wimmer needs, baby, oh, oh, oh, oh, baby, oh, oh, yeah, yeah, oh, oh, shit, Eric, totally frozen. Yeah, we, well, let's, let's do the third one here. Oh, here, you're back. Oh, I'm back. There's my guy. All right. For now. The sun might destroy the fucking battle station. I'm on, though. Eric, focus on me. Eric, focus on me. Shields at 30%, dude. Holding, holding, holding. Okay. All right. oh look at that orange how you got that's a car heart
Starting point is 00:33:03 uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, it's not as fancy as the, uh, the aquatic, the Zsu brand. Is that your sock now that you're like, pleasuring yourself into? Yes, Eric. I use it for both things. I was sorry.
Starting point is 00:33:15 I thought I was frozen again. That's why I said that. Okay. Here we go. Okay. Uh, hard rain. Oh. It's another one.
Starting point is 00:33:28 Morgan Freeman, Christian Slater. There's some, there's some people in that movie. I remember there being a lot of wetness, which I appreciate. Yes. It's an incredibly wet movie. An early hurricane heist type of movie. Yes. Very sure.
Starting point is 00:33:44 Okay. I've still never seen it. Oh, man. Oh, we're going to have a ball with that one, baby. Fuck, yeah. Is it up to me? It is a few. Yeah, dude.
Starting point is 00:33:52 My God, before I freeze again. Okay, so the special. Yes. you want to explain this. Do you please do you? All right, all right. We're a level with you. Episode 666 is going to be happening during listening listener request month. That's right. So this hat represents. Oh, no. Oh, no. Oh, man. He froze. I'm back to us, Eric. I will continue. So episode 666 is in Listener request month. What we're doing is we siphoned off all of the devil requests. Hi there. Yes. You came back. I'm back. We siphoned off all the devil, go ahead of all the devil, please. We're over devilish requests and get him to Eric. Devil and Devil adjacent movies are in this hat, and let's see who we're hanging out with Lucifer with. The Covenant. Yes.
Starting point is 00:34:50 Oh, that one, it's going to be a field day with that one. I'm happy that got drawn, actually. It gets requested all the time. That thing comes. We get a lot of That and tremors just bust out Our entire fucking request line. Sebastian Stan, I believe is in that movie.
Starting point is 00:35:09 Boy witches. It's very much like we're it's like could have been Twilight but wasn't. You know, it's one of those kind of movies that's very much Twilight. Yeah, yeah. I always confused that movie with the one with Winona Ryder and Ben
Starting point is 00:35:24 Chaplin. Laws souls. loss souls. That's a terrible movie. It might not be a terrible movie. I just remember the poster like with their two faces like that. And I'm like them really? You're anchoring this all. I mean, I like them both in ways. But very, very gooster has a really good point. That's two Rennie Harlan movies in the month of March. That's how this shit works. That's influence, I guess. The Covenant and. Oh, yeah. Driven. Yeah. Yeah. Okay. We're having fun with Renny. This. month. Now, now we'll, now. Now, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, so I'll, to get all of these episodes. You are going to want to subscribe to once you hear what's drawn here. Exactly. So first is animation damnation. A lot of like WLM animation damnations in this bucket. Which is all right. It is. There's no rules against. Yeah, no, this month's animation
Starting point is 00:36:20 damnation. I think it's a total WLM. Yes. Our Gargwell's episode. Uh, what do we got here? We are talking oh good lord, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, okay, so, you fucking jinxed us, man. Yeah, I did. What is, what is ugly Americans tree gasm episode? Ugly Americans at least was a like South Parkian. Oh, mid-hot comedy central show. Oh, great. Oh, great. I am sure. With every word you say this gets better. I'm sure this is the age like a fucking apple dude. I'm sure it's wonderful.
Starting point is 00:36:56 Trigasm, let's see how that goes. So what's do? I don't know. Let's do the Nexus. Who's doing the Nexus? That's me, I believe. We'll build up to the WLM. How does that sound? Oh, that's perfect.
Starting point is 00:37:15 I cannot believe whatever that fucking cartoon is. You gotta be fucking shit. And remember, folks, Mel Rowe is not at play here, but that is another show that we are still going to be doing this month. That is Beverly Hills. That's right? That is That is. That is. We get to a lot of hijinks talking about those shows. All right. Now, if I'm thinking of this correctly, I have to, I'm drawing two
Starting point is 00:37:39 right. Yes. Two episodes. Okay. So here's, we'll do this. This is the first one. Voyager, the episode Sincatez. Okay. Okay. I haven't watched Voyager. No, does the score does the No, no, no, no, no, no, oh, oh, yes, but excellent joke, too. Excellent, that's the niches joke I'll hear all week. I love it. All right. Are we getting a plot summary
Starting point is 00:38:08 for this before we get to the next one? I'm trying to find out, but I got nothing on Suncate. It's, uh, here, T-S-U-N-K-A-K-A-H-A-G-A-G-G-G. Yeah, all right, got it. Uh, blah, blah, blah, seven of nine, and two, are enslaved while in a new wave mission with seven forced to fight the death. maybe, like, like, like, like, like, any, like, any significance? Oh, wait, hold on.
Starting point is 00:38:39 What's that? Yes, there is. What? Mr. Dwayne the Rock Johnson is. Oh, no way! Yeah, dude. Oh, this must have aired long after I stopped watching Voyager. I'm going to go in our private chat.
Starting point is 00:38:53 I'm dumbed the picture here. Yeah, we got a private chat. Oh, wow. It looks like, I mean. I mean, I mean, you got all that gleep-glob shit on your forehead. You couldn't fix the fucking hair? Very rarely do you see a forehead that could also be a Sibian. You don't often see that. You're totally right. You do not.
Starting point is 00:39:20 All right. So that's pretty cool. Okay. into it. All right. So let's go here. We got the second one. I'm sure. I'm just grab one here. Okay. And if it's in Katzegan, you've got to pick again. Yeah, no, that's fine. We're not going to do it twice. DS9 in the pale moonlight. Okay. That's the Jack Napier episode. is that the one is that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's I can't tell here it just seems like a lot it just seems like a lot is it written in wingdings
Starting point is 00:40:04 what is what is so hard about reading the episode to save the federate because I was on the Wikipedia and that was hard to figure oh oh that's like that's the federation in a critical scheme Cisco comes to realize that he must violate its most fundamental principles to do so. he's, he's into it. I mean, everyone pretends it's, it's a fake prime directive. I'll say, um, a lot of people in the chat go and fucking ape shit over this DS9 episode. That's exciting. Oh, they say it's good. That episode of DS9. That episode fucking rocks. Great
Starting point is 00:40:43 episode. Class of app. All right. app. That's exciting. That's exciting. Eric, let me get the gleep sure, let me get the gleap hat out. Oh, there he goes. Oh, shit.
Starting point is 00:40:56 Yes. Ceremonial. Activate it. Wow. It doesn't make a peep noise. You hear a beep noise. But it's bloopin. I can see it.
Starting point is 00:41:08 It's bloopin and whatnot. It's definitely bloopin. There's a lot. You know, I like the energy on a lot of these. There's a lot of good requests. This is exciting. see. R5D4. How? How? It's how extensive of a biography could this be? Well, hey, it's a short month for us. The 500 fucking Elon Sleys Bagano fucking requests we get never come through. I never understand. They're in there. They are in
Starting point is 00:41:44 I just I'm the devil's work. that's the devil's work. It's the devil's the devil's the is the red one that's the he's the red one that explodes at the start of the movie. Oh, oh, man.
Starting point is 00:41:57 Oh, okay. Yeah. So it's going to be literally two sentences. What do you try to push on us? This is all Elon Slagano. There's some Jack Porkens. There's some good ones in here. But, you know, we do what you request
Starting point is 00:42:11 and you request it R5D4. It's going to be amazing That's so fucking funny Watch him Watch him have some long story to tattooing He probably does Seven pages long All in novels
Starting point is 00:42:25 Only in novels All right So Chris will tell us What our big WLLM episode is going to be I'm really excited about this I will say some of those requests By the way You folks have some strange ideas about WLMs
Starting point is 00:42:38 Just putting that out there Okay here we go here's my god, I'm a man's a man, I'm a man, I'm a man, I'm a man's a man. a John Connery Michael Kane showdown. Oh, okay. All right. It's going to be an impression a thon. That sounds like a lot of fun. It's, uh, it's a famous story. It's, yeah, it's a, it's a, it's a very good movie. I'm not, 75, we're going back in time
Starting point is 00:43:10 like this. This is kind of this is kind of like these WLM I guess it's like, you know, it's got two good people in it. It's very good, you know, I've never seen it. So do I love this movie? Will I love the man who would be king?
Starting point is 00:43:30 I don't know. You might. You might. I can see you loving this movie. Okay. Because it is just them like going at each other for two hours in the prime of both of their lives. What do you mean?
Starting point is 00:43:42 I don't think there's any dix. They're like shouting at each other. This is exciting. It's just arguing with each other essentially for two hours. And you got Christopher Plummer also fucking around it looks like. That's exciting. Oh yeah. You'll have fun. That's pretty exciting. I like it. Yeah. We're changing it up, you know.
Starting point is 00:44:00 Look at the fucking facial hair on Sean Connery in this movie. That's 25 minutes a lot. Oh, he plays a king. He plays a king. He plays a king in the king's He plays a king's It's usually for the good reason.
Starting point is 00:44:16 What time period is this? The 1880s, okay. Wow, it's going to be a real, you know, film education month for me. That's pretty cool. Okay. Yeah, a brand new one for all of us except for Chris.
Starting point is 00:44:32 That's cool. Just get your tea in, guys. Just make sure you'd be drinking that tea because, I mean, Sean Conner, you gotta be able to switch back and there's subtle differences, of course, versus just Brits. Well, absolutely. It'll be great to just do a Michael Cain movie again. That's kind of been a while. Yeah. Oh, yes. Should we re? Because that's it, right? Should we recap the list really quickly? Yeah, yeah, yeah, sure. So we don't know the order yet of these, we hate movies episodes, but just to go back through them, Steve, you started with Driven with Stel Leic Stallone. That's right. I have equilibrium. I have equilibrium. I have
Starting point is 00:45:09 I have hard rain. I pulled And I pulled the Covenant 2006 with Taylor Kitch Sebastian Stan. I think Chance Crawford, the guy I believe is the deep now on Oh, yes, yes, yes. Boys. Boys. Yeah. So a lot of new metal in it too, I believe. And another Reni Harlan That's pretty crazy. And then, Steve, The AD was, ugly Americans Is the episode? Oh, boy.
Starting point is 00:45:47 Fucking great. The Nexus, we are talking Voyagers, Sikunska, Sankate, I don't know, sorry. It's the rock episode. Yeah, Sincatsy with the rock. And DS9's In the Pale Moonlight. So there you go The gleepe was The gleeveevaled2d2
Starting point is 00:46:11 And we will be doing the man who would be king As our WLM And I'm really looking for it Because we haven't done like an old one Like like China syndrome's last one I consider that but that's still the 80s But like I still like we haven't done something like this A nice 70s guy
Starting point is 00:46:31 I'm kind of into it I'm, I'm, that's pretty cool. That is the, um, um, um, um, um, um, um, um, um, um, um, um, uh, the, the, uh, the month of March that you all have programmed for us. again, uh, if you didn't get your, uh, pick in, hey, better luck next year, man. What do you want me to do about it? Yeah. Morseley's bag andos in next time. We need that. Somehow that son of a bitch keeps dodging the Reaper, man, but we're going to cover that guy one day. But I feel like at this point, we can't, we can't just say we're going to. No, no, no, no, no. We have to pick it.
