Starting point is 00:00:00 You're listening to One-on-One with D.P. Brought you by Canopy Street Market. On 93-7, The Ticket and The Ticket FM.com. Welcome back, final segment. Before we handed over to Pete Ferguson. And then you got, yeah, no, he's got some of his scholars out there. They're rehearsing for youth rally. And he has to, like, use his space.
Starting point is 00:00:29 I was like absolutely. Absolutely. That's what it for. That's literally what we built it for. Full afternoon. Who's on Take Down Tuesdays today? It should be Ridge 11th. Confirm with him, but I think it's going to be a Ridge again tonight.
Starting point is 00:00:42 Okay. And then last week he had James Green with him. So, you know, Ridge, he'll bring some leverage. And then Jay Leno Reyes, as they prepare for the 316 Friday and Sunday. Kansas, and then staring down the gauntlet, they will pay attention to Kansas and Kansas only and not get caught up and not pay attention to anything else that's going on. It's go one and oh. It's every cliche.
Starting point is 00:01:14 But I think that they work it so that it's so active in how they compete with one another that a lot of that stuff stays out of the way. Iron sharpens iron and they are iron. I'm going to stay focused. I mean, you're undefeated at this point. Yep. There's a lot. Good in the space.
Starting point is 00:01:31 Ticket late night tonight should be interesting. I've got one for you. Okay. I've got one. I had it for it last night. And I was like, okay, I'm going to put it down. And if it comes back, if it comes back to me. Now, of course, that is granted that the Huskers don't break any news between now.
Starting point is 00:01:47 Yeah, there's that part always. Right? Because they love, hey, DP's putting in two hours of study for the night show. Well, they do it. During the late hours, because they don't want everyone alarmed to it. Well, they didn't count on us being live. That's the other part. That part.
Starting point is 00:02:03 But a friend of mine was telling the story. I don't know if you've heard the story. But there's a story of Georgia Tech and Auburn playing each other back in 1896. 1896. So Auburn, it was their first home game. ever and they thought okay let's let's do something to kind of announce our presence with authority what do you think they did Auburn do they get a live tiger oh Auburn the students at Auburn got together and greased the railroad tracks leading into Auburn Alabama
Starting point is 00:02:44 a five-mile stretch hold on they greased the railroad tracks and so the At the time, the Georgia Tech team back then, again, they traveled by train, the day of the game, the morning of the game. So I don't know what the train ride is from Atlanta, from Atlanta, Georgia to Auburn, Alabama, but they're on the train. And they're in full uniform. They're in full uniform aside from the pad. They've got the pads. Five miles stretch of grease tracks. So they use, and I want to, I want to, they use lard pig grease and something else.
Starting point is 00:03:19 And they grease the railroad tracks. and the train couldn't stop for five miles so because it's day of the game that Georgia Tech had to get off the train and walk and run five miles to the stadium that's incredible
Starting point is 00:03:42 they made it and they drew up pictures of them like walking through the through a train station like in a full football uniform and, of course, they were exhausted. The prank work. Auburn won 45-0. Oh, that is dirty.
Starting point is 00:04:00 That actually is way better than I thought when you were describing. That's expecting a full-on train crash. No. So they've got a list of some of the greatest sports pranks. That's up there. That's incredible. Oh, no. There's some on this list. Oh, we're going to have a good time.
Starting point is 00:04:16 Oh, this is the whole. Okay. There's a list. There's a list of 20. 20 pranks. Of course, this is Army Navy weekend. So it started with the stealing of a goat. Stealing with a goat. But yes. Believers says that the felony in the mess with the train. I don't know if they were written up for it. Bruh. Listen, that is some stuff right there. So tonight at 11 to midnight, if you're up and you're bored and you want to have a good laugh, yeah. We've got some of the great pranks ever, ever. We'll go through as many of them as possible tonight. from 11 to midnight. We're done going on here, Peter Ferguson,
Starting point is 00:04:53 up next here on your weekly disrupt here on the ticket.
