One-on-one with DP.
Brought to by Canopy Street Market on 937 The Ticket and the Ticketfm.com.
I'm such a child.
I'm such a mark for this that I would love for a listener just to paint their face
and put the ultimate warrior strings around their arms and legs and just run up and down the street.
I just right in front of the window here, Bach.
It's warm enough now, yeah.
Somebody should do it.
Right.
Just paint the face.
Come in, you know, they can, we don't have rope through you to shake, but get up.
Pretty good stuff.
Character wasn't feeling well, so I'm sitting in for him today.
I'll take you up to 1 o'clock where the captain black shirt and Bach will hold it down for you.
Pass it on to on the block, which Strick and Austin, and then Orman and,
Foreman, we'll take you all the way up.
And then we've got high school basketball.
So Nick Sainert, we'll be around.
We've got a full weekend of coverage.
We've got shows.
Steve Taylor's doing an hour on Saturday tomorrow.
I'm doing an hour with Coach Brown tomorrow.
Todd Euler is doing an hour.
Then we'll have the Husker basketball,
men's basketball post game show.
So yeah, we've got, we're going to be local and live and happening.
We've got the folks from Leba, of course.
We'll have it hot and happening until.
about 5 o'clock tomorrow.
You know, long Saturday,
and I think as we head towards spring,
and that would be another thing is that we have some more athletes
that want to jump in and get shows done.
So we will be able to extend it.
Of course, you know, for the next four weeks,
it's March Madness.
It's tournaments and high school tournament.
So we'll have 32 girls basketball games,
16 girls basketball games, 16 of the boys,
the following week.
We will also carry some Big Ten tournament games
when it does not interfere
with the local Lincoln High School
or the Nebraska State tournament.
Of course, Nick Sainter will have a full crew of folks
who are going to call games with them.
Of course, Jay Foreman, Strickland,
and other folks are going to jump in.
It's going to be a fun couple of weeks.
And then, of course, the games of March Madness
in the CAA tournament, hopefully,
hopefully things fall where, I don't know, maybe.
maybe we get a Huskers game.
A boy can dream.
A boy can dream outlawed.
There's a path.
There's a way.
This is a thing.
There's a thing thing.
I wanted to try to get that through.
Yeah.
I keep crew.
For a Husker spring thing,
I've wanted Coach Elk to roll out in an Ultimate Warrior garb.
I think I think that could probably pull it off still.
Yuler could pull it off.
He doesn't have the long hair,
but he could, you know,
he could get the pipes tied up and vainy.
Like, I think we can make that work.
He's got the physique.
Yeah, you know,
do that,
of course,
you know,
if we gave,
you know,
Vreshawn an opportunity,
he'd love to show off.
You know,
he got,
he faced paint and top the muscles
and he,
you know,
challenge everybody to 50 pushups.
Yeah,
that's totally ultimate warrior-ish.
Yeah, so before we go to break for this hour,
the story of Pac-R-R-Jones, 40 years old.
And again, legitimate NFL speedster, top-speed guy coming out of West Virginia.
We knew that was kind of the deal.
But then the NFL, that at 40, he said, listen,
I think I can run a 4-5-40 at 40 years old.
And he is a junk food connoisseur.
in the line of Chad Archosico of the guys who were just aliens walking around
who could eat whatever they want,
whatever junk food and not gain a pound because just their body works that way
and they're so athletic.
Adam Jones,
he brought in Pat McAfee to time it video.
He ran a 4-540 at age 40.
And it is just insane.
So if there are some 40-year-old Husker fans who feel like they can,
they could still pop a 4-5, 4-6-40.
There's no way at my age I could run the 40 I ran in college.
Yeah.
And somebody said that's the greatest over 40.
I'm like, because on his 50th birthday,
Darrell Green of the Reds kids ran a timed 4-240.
So, Pac-Man, you still got something to,
Still got something to shoot for, but I'm going to be on the spectator side.
Y'all can go out there and do it yourselves.
Tell me all about it.
Tell me all about it.
We're going to take a break.
Come back with a 12 o'clock hour here of one-on-one on the table.
