Starting point is 00:00:00 You're listening to One-on-One with D.P. Sponsored by Mary Ellen's Food for the Soul on 93-7 The Ticket and the Ticketfm.com. Thank you for hanging out with us for two hours. Back in the black shirt up next. Take the two hours. I'll be back this evening at 7 o'clock. Craig, what's up? Appreciate you, Big B.
Starting point is 00:00:24 Also, appreciate you as well. Bill and Bennett. Yeah, another way the gold and Dovers get back. It's just work. Kirk from Georgia says Georgia, Texas, and Alabama as those that he would consider getting in. It's just not, I mean, it's just saying of all the big schools of all the schools of the country, everybody else is really just, you're just trying to get invited to the prom. You ain't going to be a homecoming king, you know it, you're not going to get the homecoming queen, you know it.
Starting point is 00:00:54 You're just, listen, you know the pecking order, right? All the team captains get to choose their prime. date first and then you are somewhere else in the pile. You're somewhere else in line. But in the history of pro wrestling, there are finishes. And the story was led by that on gaming systems, there are certain finishing moves that have, that delete the opponent's power at a higher level.
Starting point is 00:01:21 So if I ask you, the three greatest finishes, finishing moves and all of pro wrestling, And I want you to consider the originator of those moves because there are certain moves that have been passed along and passed along and passed along, but some are iconic and they're different. So, Bach, three finishing moves, the goats of finishers in pro wrestling.
Starting point is 00:01:43 Yeah, there's some that you know, you particularly, you know, connect to a certain individual, right? And so you kind of have your favorites. It's like my favorite might be the pedigree. I like Triple H. I love, you know, that move kind of setting up, passing on to Seth Rollins and so on and so forth. Um, but that's not one that's just like, is passed around too much.
Starting point is 00:02:02 Like somebody would do that too often, um, as opposed to kind of the, I guess what I would say are my, my top two would probably be the choke slam and the spear. Um, which again, can trans, you know, go to kind of different, uh, athletes as we think about them over the years. But to me, there's something more intimidating because the choke slam has to be done by a giant, right? It's not something that a, uh, 185 pound guy is going to do. So that always, you know, whether it was, you know, the big show or the giant before him, you know, Kane, you know, these guys would look, it looks believable, right?
Starting point is 00:02:36 Like he just kind of takes you out. The spear, when done properly. And Brown Breaker does a great job of it. Today, Goldberg, you know, in the past has been great at Roman reign. So it's been passed around a lot. But that's, it's basically just the best tackle we can see. And as a football fan, I'd like to see a tackle like that. So I'd put those up there.
Starting point is 00:02:55 and it's interesting because there's different levels of kicks, right? I would, if I really had to throw in another one, I think sweet chin music because John Michaels, you know, has made that so impressive. But it's interesting because that's not all that different than what the Uso's do eight different times of match that isn't a finisher. 100%.
Starting point is 00:03:14 And so you kind of have these different kicks, the Brokechick, you know, McIntyre's version of it. So you got all these different versions of kicks. And some of them are lethal and some of them are not. So that's where it's kind of hard to distinguish. Okay, why is Sweet Gin music so effective?
Starting point is 00:03:28 And you just want to say, well, it's because John Michael, that's his kick. I think his moments, iconic moments. Goldberg's fear is iconic. It's iconic. There are others who are spear, but, you know, Rino being one that maybe delivered the best spear,
Starting point is 00:03:44 Roman Reins in the conversation. I think Andre's boot is game over and has been. I talked yesterday how much I despise the leg drop, the Hogan leg drop. I thought it or and the the the rocks people's elbow. I thought they both were terrible. Um, seen as John C you can't see me.
Starting point is 00:04:04 I hated that. Uh, five knuckle shuffle. Didn't like it. A lot of dancing around in the ring with all. Right. Yeah. Um, Haas said the F5 because he thought it was just, but to me, I've seen people get up. Tombstone pile driver.
Starting point is 00:04:20 Undertakers. That's elite. Uh, Goldberg spear elite. and I missed the days of the figure four being oh game set match yeah once I get it in locked in done uh diamond cutter Bill and Bennett says diamond cutter Ronnie Garvin's K-O punch right uh Cupsker says these three
Starting point is 00:04:42 Tombstone Pydrawer are KO in the end of days and of course because it's Nebraska scooter and Roca from Roca the claw The American Rethlers That's all there is to know Well done, Bach, thank you,
Starting point is 00:05:06 so greatly appreciate it. Don't go anywhere. Bach and the Blackshirt take you up to 3 o'clock here on 937th ticket. Love y'all.
