I know I know obviously you're going to root against Iowa but is is well they're playing each other who do you want to go home first see that's the thing is do you want Iowa to go home or do you want the team that didn't play their game to go home because that's what I've heard. 402. 402-6-4-6-8-5.

Let me know. What are you rooting for? Do you want Iowa to go home first? Or do you want Purdue to go home first? I am rooting against Iowa. Right? Right. I mean, honestly, look, you've got to, look, think about it this way.

Think about it this way. I don't want to ruffle any feathers, but I feel like I might hear. If Nebraska was in Purdue situation I can almost guarantee Greater misery The same people who were upset that Purdue didn't play And were saying that Purdue should have moved their game up Would be saying

Oh Nebraska, keep your game where it's at Looks like the weather's going to be bad Guess we can't play Am I wrong? If Nebraska had to play a game And if they lost, they weren't in the tournament But if they didn't play the game Or if they won, they were in the tournament

but you're facing a team that is who are they facing Maryland the best team in the big 10 like you're facing the best team in the conference you've lost the previous two if you lose this you're out if you don't play or you win you're in and there's weather coming in

look can you also imagine so and then yeah that would have been fun that wouldn't have been fun look if I'm here I'm sitting here and I'm seeing if I can get Will Bull number and I'm like look keep the game at the same time in fact push it back yeah because that would have been they would have had the game the the rain delay game and then you know and again

maryland first like full disclosure Maryland's fun to watch oh yeah like I've only seen them twice this year and that was the third last yesterday was the third game and I just went oh has this been going on all year like like the whole team hits 300 and above That's great. Right? They all can run. They all. A little bit of power.

Like, you know, I just went, okay. So then you go through it. Rutgers humbled Purdue yesterday. Like to get that sort of thumping in a conference tournament game. Rutgers is like, look, you shouldn't be here. Just stop. You shouldn't be here. Why are you here?

Why are you here? And then I was up currently, and I did know. So it's 3-2. Purdue just scored and put a run across as 3-2. They've got a run on third with two outs in the fifth. So that thing, right, who do you despise enough in this scenario that you want them to go first? Well, Claytonia John says bleep Iowa in every sport. Right.

And an unknown textor, unnamed. name texter says i'm against peru i hate iowa but they don't have us in baseball and produce rude us and here's a weird thing here's a weird thing i'm not i'm sure i've seen it before but i'm not the iowa pitcher is wearing yellow spikes now other it appears that other players have it have them on i'll have to pay more attention but i don't remember orange spikes orange high top spikes either. No. But as they're running off the field,

several other players are doing it. So the schedule today as it stands. And again, it's, it's, this is an elimination game. Uh, the winner advances and we'll face

the loser of game 10, which is, it's always fun trying to to match the game numbers with the games and the teams. It's another team from the loser's bracket. You've just got to like connect the dots. Another team from the loser's bracket. So Maryland will play the loser of the Michigan.

Wow. This thing is complicated. Wow. Very much so. What is going on? I don't know why they can't just make it simple. Yeah, I'm going to pull up the schedule because I had the bracket in front of me and it looked fantastic. but then as you get into it.

You're very confused. Oh, absolutely. It didn't make any sense. So today, and this is not even right. Okay, yeah, it is. Okay, yeah, it is. So Purdue will play at 6 o'clock. Rutgers and Penn State will play at 2.

Michigan and Maryland tonight at 10. And then tomorrow, it's a free-for-all. So games at 10, 6. 10 to 6 and 10 2 and 6 tomorrow. And then championship game Sunday at whatever time

based on, you know, whatever this is. It was fantastic. Okay, so, yeah, so Iowa, Purdue, winner of that faces loser of Penn State Rutgers. And then Indiana, Illinois, play.

No, that's weird, though, because it already has Purdue in the elimination. game at 6 o'clock. No, I'm looking at it right now. So I'm in Purdue playing right now, right now, right? Right, okay. And then they face, the winner of that one,

faces the loser of game 6. The game 6 is Penn State versus Rutgers. But they've got it playing at 2 o'clock rather than 6 o'clock. Game 6 is 40 minutes after game 5. Which is this one? Okay. Yeah, which is that one. And then the other losers bracket game is Indiana, Illinois.

and the winner of that plays the loser of Maryland, Michigan. Yeah. Fun. They made this way too complicated. Michigan and Maryland play 10 o'clock tonight. So there is a chance, yeah. So how are they going to play?

How is their loser going to play? 40 minutes post game 9. How is the loser of their game going to play when they haven't even played that game yet? That, sir, is a great idea. Or a great question. I was just trying to understand. I was trying to make sense of it,

and then I made it worse. My apologies, folks. I made it worse. They made it so weird. I made it first, and I'm sorry. I don't. They made this tournament bracket just unnecessarily complicated. Like, it's just, I mean,

there's chances for rematches everywhere. Like, if I, let's say Iowa beats Purdue today, right? And then Penn State beats Rutgers. Iowa and Penn State play again. Yeah, there's so much weirdness to it. It could have been done much, and a much more reasonable. Then where's game 10?

That's so weird. And then the winner of like game 10. So the, what in the world? And then that person jumps up to the top of the bracket to face the winner of whatever game that. No, this is unnecessary. No, Big Ten, don't do this. I tried to make sense of it.

I don't understand it. Don't do this. I'm going to try and write it on one of our boards so I can make more sense of it. So on a more clear note. today at 11, Arizona, Mississippi State in softball. One o'clock, Florida versus Virginia Tech. At 3.30, Central Florida versus number one, Oklahoma. That's the game I want to watch.

530, Texas and Arkansas have at it again. Later today, Northwestern at 7 o'clock faces Arizona State. And then Clemson and Oklahoma State back at it again. Did you see the stats on Oklahoma State's pitcher? Oh, my goodness. 12 strikeouts? So, no, so yeah, in that game, but for the regional. So she didn't pitch against Nebraska.

She was the one that pitched against Nebraska. Remember we kept talking about they had two aces? So she didn't pitch against Nebraska, which kind of thankful. So she pitched 12 innings, had 25 strikeouts, allowed one earned run in the regional when she faced 4th in North Texas. She faced two teams, 12 innings, 25 strikeouts. Yeah. Yeah, I said that they were both spectacular. In Oregon State and Stanford tonight, and then Duke and UCLA.

Shout out to those two teams. Duke playing late night, late night, late night, late night. Did you know this is only Clemson's, so I found this out last night? This is only Clemson's third year as a softball program. Yeah. They didn't have softball before this. And they're in a super regional. I still don't believe that.

I don't believe that. Their first year was the COVID year. They got like 15 games in. they won 40 games and they got eliminated in a regional. And then this year they're in a super regional. And also last night was Arkansas softball's first ever super regional win. Why do I not? These are all things that I was learning from ESPN last night.

Okay, okay. We'll have to talk about that. We'll throw the break. We'll close out one-on-one and hand it over to the captain's show. Yeah, it says here, right here on Wikipedia, it joined ACC as a Division I varsity program in 20. In November 2017, Clemson got their first head coach, John Rippen.

He was the former head coach at Stanford. Yeah, they started the program in 2017. Wow. They didn't have a program in 2017. Started in 2018. That is wild. And now they're in the... Look at them.
