Starting point is 00:00:00 You're listening to one-on-one with DP on 93-7 the ticket and the ticketfm.com. Final segment. Going back to Cleveland. Cleveland. Cleveland. Going back to Cleveland. National championships. The highest honor and the deepest water requires the greatest effort and the deepest water requires the greatest effort and circumstances.
Starting point is 00:00:43 things must break your way. Yes, you must effort in all things capable to you. What they will tell you is not play outside of yourself, be your greatest self within yourself. You're just pulling down and pulling out the greatest part of you for this greatest moment. It's pretty epic when you get into national championship conversation because people want to see how great you can be,
Starting point is 00:01:14 but you're already all of those things. Nebraska has already everything that it needs to be to be its greatest version. It just has to be them now. One day at a time, one game at a time, it has to be its best version of itself. No regrets. No regrets, Big Red, no regrets.
Starting point is 00:01:38 The intention is there, the mission is there, the purpose is there, the focus is there. They've said all the right things, done all the right things. things, they've been all the right things. The wins of the season do not lie. Neither do the losses against six NCAA tournament teams. But you're back in the pool. Do quick math for me. Look at the schedule and tell me how many teams on the Husker win schedule, win ledger, make the tournament. Can you go through that and pull that?
Starting point is 00:02:18 Not Nebraska men's basketball. Yep. Yep. So what we ask for And what we're hoping for is the best version of themselves. In this moment, in this great, grand moment, the same can be said for Nebraska wrestling. They don't have to be anything that they haven't already been. AJ Ferrari is 100% of the AJ Ferrari he needs to be, to be a national champion. He's already done it. Antrelle Taylor, he's already done it. Rock Hardy's already been to the, to the greatest place in it.
Starting point is 00:02:50 He just needs to finish. Christopher Mento has evolved and developed and formed and sharpened his game, all of those things in place. They are who they thought. Jillian Martin isn't going to change the way she bowls. It's not going to happen. She just needs to execute. When you get to this level of it, Nebraska can say this to themselves.
Starting point is 00:03:13 They are exactly what they need to be. They have the opportunities this weekend to be the best version of themselves. We're rooting for them all. out loud on purpose. Good luck in OKC, Huskers. Good luck tomorrow. Good luck in Durham. Jamie Williams and the Lady Huskers, good luck.
Starting point is 00:03:37 Six o'clock start, ESPN 2 for Huskers, Richmond Women's Basketball. Tomorrow of 40, True TV, Huskers versus the real men of Troy. Stand on, 10 toes down. Troy, don't give up. Do not concede. Do not give that up. I fully expect to Husker win because
Starting point is 00:04:02 they are all the things that a good winning team need to be. In the biggest moment, the biggest tournament, brightest lights, biggest state. Bach, what is that grand number? What was the number you're looking for? The number of wins against teams
Starting point is 00:04:18 in that have qualified for the tournament. I'm like quick math, believe Wisconsin, Illinois, Michigan, State, Ohio, State, and Iowa. It would be five. That's a pretty good run. Don't you think? Yeah. Don't you think? Well done.
Starting point is 00:04:35 Listen, I'm going to get up out of here. Bach, what are you in the black shirt going to talk about? Well, I like, I like what I'm sorry. Still one of your things, which is this is, I might be new to you, but this is not new to me, is Fred Hoyberg. We're going to look at Fred Hoyberg's history throughout the tournament. Certainly has an interesting one there. And then look at which coaches can kind of break.
Starting point is 00:04:55 through. Everybody's had, as I look at all these coaches, you know, you've got a group that's won the national title. You've got a group that's been to the final four group that's been runners up. Fred's in that sweet 16 category. We're going to look at through those, through the coaches over the years and see who's kind of in which category who can beat their all time high, get further than they never have in the tournament. Let's go for that. Y'all be good. I'm going to travel safe. I will reach out to you from Cleveland, Ohio.
