That's tough work that she's doing and she's appreciated. The category is teacher, and the nominees are the teachers at touching hearts. Touching Hearts Child Care of Faith Lutheran Church here in Lincoln. The teachers of touching heart, like all teachers, have taken the brunt of the many phases of COVID-like champions. They have done the yeoman's work for all the students' parents, grace and love, all the parents, including myself, owe so much more for everything they've done for our kids doing this tumultuous uncertain time. Imagine taking care of kids with limited talking skills and explaining to them the importance of hygiene and social distancing measures.

We as a country owe a huge debt of gratitude to the teachers at all levels for the last two and a half years. Well, Jeremy, you are correct. You are correct. and to the folks at Touching Hearts Care Center, child care center, we thank you out loud and on purpose for what you do. We need more of you.

We need more people who care and do the good work even through difficult times. It is a joy and a pleasure to be able to think that we could just send a package over there.
