3.7 the ticket.
Welcome back, but that song always makes me chuckle because I think Nebraska football fans are wrestling fans at their heart.
And their relationship with Matt Rule is John Cena, that there is a third of the room
that was that that absolutely cheers let's go Sina fully supportive there is a third
the other side fully yelling Sina sucks and then the other third sitting at the ends of the
arena just kind of watching him well I wonder how he's going to do tonight
but is that a fair assessment of
I think that's probably getting, unfortunately, more and more fair after the last couple games there.
It seems to be more seen a sucks chance going along.
Before we get to the text line, pay the bills, guys, sir, pay the bills.

By the way,
which side of the arena are you on?
When the chance began,
when the chance begin,
and I have a full,
again,
I think the loud of sounds you hear
will be the ends of it
because it will tell you how they did against Utah.
Yeah, I mean, I'm definitely, for Sina, I like to do the Sina sucks thing.
You know how I like to be kind of a heal myself in wrestling.
But I'm probably just more than anything, looking at the crowd and trying to figure out which side is more than the other at this point.
I do.
I mean, I always go back to it, though, and I wonder where people are with this.
I think there's a difference in believing in your head coach and hoping in your head coach and in your program in general.
And, you know, I think you kind of get the benefit of the doubt maybe through year one.
And it depends on who you are as a fan.
Some people, I disagreed with this higher.
I'm never going to, you know, jump on board all of that.
But I think I'm interested to see where people are with that rule.
Do you believe that the program is heading the right direction under coach rule, or do you hope it is?
I mean, this is why we have the discussions, right?
that I think we have our daily hour or hours of therapy
and trying to make sense of how we feel and what we think.
Do we agree is a confirmation for what we think
or is there opposition to?
And I think the reality is this is the final opportunity
until spring game to change the way
an entire nation of football fans.
think about Nebraska football.
It is the final opportunity to see what you have in the cupboard, right?
Because it's a long winter, a long cold winter.
And if you have something in the cupboard, you feel much better about it.
But if you are struggling and it doesn't end while, it's going to be a long, tough
winter.
It's going to be a long, tough winter.
And, you know, the opportunity to walk out of a loss,
Vegas with a win, make for
a better, a warmer winter, a more comfortable
winter. But
you know, I don't want to be the guy standing
and going, oh no,
Nebraska loss, winter is coming.
But
it's up
to them. And here's it from
Texas says, well, why is it that
Nebraska media, local media,
are afraid to
buck against Nebraska
football?
Let me,
let me be clear.
One, I speak to what I know, and we're having a conversation.
So I will tell you the details of what's on my mind, and then I will invite you into the conversation.
If you just want my opinion, that's a whole different show.
But that's not what we do.
That's why I often ask Bach his thoughts on it, because quite frankly, it is, here are the facts.
How does that make you feel?
What do you think about it?
What does it mean to you?
Because we can give the same numbers, right?
um no there's no there's no and this is not a money thing my my word has way more value than money
i hate to die i hate to tell y'all that that is not that is not how i get down uh that means
you've never met me matt rule's status is exactly as he's 19 and 19 at nebraska and his
career is his career how you feel about it is why we're having a conversation doesn't matter how
I feel about.
Husker Nation has its own feeling.
This show is an opportunity to be heard.
I get hurt every day.
If you on the text line, this is your opportunity to be heard.
You can scream at the clouds, right?
You can raise your fist to the sky and hope that somebody hears and understands that you're
not happy with the way Nebraska football is going or you're thrilled about it.
But these shows and this station, what we do on a day by day, hour by hour basis, is to
have a conversation that allows you to be heard.
Like, Bach has his opinion, but Bach is also here.
He's not doing a podcast where he's just talking at you.
He's doing a radio show and having a conversation so that you can be included in it.
That's the big part of this thing.
I mean, listen, I can sit here all day and give you stats and numbers and tell you my
opinion and why I believe what I believe.
But I've done that.
I literally told you that if you're working.
from here's the value of a win
in major college football
then those are the numbers and you can decide
whether those numbers are valid or whether you
agree with it. I keep it simple.
I keep it simple. I want
our listeners to be a part of the show
and I want their opinions to be heard because your opinion
matters more than mine. I'm not here to
overtalk you. I am here to include you.
I have to repeat that constantly, that add your opinion and your feelings to the conversation.
That's why I invite you into it, as opposed to just, you know, ignoring the text line and ignoring YouTube and ignoring text and that sort of thing.
No, why would I do that?
Then I'm just, it's just me here having a conversation with myself.
No, I'm talking, I'm talking to Bach.
Hey, Bach, does this make sense to you?
Bach, does this not make sense to you?
Bach, am I missing something?
Bach, is there another way?
And it doesn't matter whether it's Bach, Anthony, Harrison, Austin, whoever,
with Jay, whoever I'm talking to, I'm having a conversation, and a conversation is two-way,
and it's not just my way.
It is.
What do you think?
Here's what I think, what do you think, and then what can we agree on?
And if we can't agree, we keep it moving.
We keep it moving.
From the text line, Willie said, any updates on T.
was given a full clean bill so he's he's feeling good um that was the word from from the coaches
post practice yesterday that he was feeling pretty good uh some of the other teammates were saying
he was feeling pretty good um as well um back to the text line uh texter says 19 and 19 sounds a lot
better than 16 and 31 amen let the church say amen I am I am I
am not disagreeing with you at all um in texas says put it all on red dp come on go big red um
there's two reds in in vegas this weekend there's two reds um and i was challenged there was
a debate in uh went downstairs last night through the casino and there were some utah fans
and nebraska fans having beverages and of course as they the discussion happened you know
who's red is better
and a couple things,
Bob.
Do you know what color Utah colors are?
Do you know their colors?
Not officially.
Right.
So Nebraska is a scarlet
in cream.
Utah is a,
well, as the youth fan said,
they are a
crimson
black and white.
And one of them,
smart jerks,
you know from Utah said yeah what's with all that our red burns brighter technically crimson
is is brighter than scarlet which if you want really to brag and really upset Nebraska fans
tell them that your red is brighter than they're red because boy that thing elevated
pretty quickly it elevated pretty quickly but bot then you know me you know me I couldn't resist
And as they're having the conversation, I said, well, sir, actually, you're incorrect.
Your red is not as much a crimson as it is a Zion cinder code red.
And he paused.
Because what do you mean?
I said, well, that's the official color of the Utah Uts.
It's Zion cinder cone red.
he goes, what is that?
I'm like, exactly.
So then he then yells, well, why don't, why doesn't Nebraska yell go big
scarlet?
Question mark.
Bach, I didn't have an answer.
Because I don't know.
I don't know.
But then I, you know, being being the, the.
the same man that I am, I asked the
the Ute fan, he was
35, and I asked him, I said,
so why'd you change the name of the Utes?
And he paused, and he goes, what do you mean?
Because we've always been, I mean, the state's named after, you know, the Utt
tribe. I'm like, oh no, no, no, sir.
early in your life
they were the Utah Redskins
sir
they didn't become the Utah
Uts until 1972
but they
are the running redskins of Utah
and bought the look on his face
and I
and he goes
really
I was like yeah
yeah
Yeah, yeah, it's a thing.
It's a thing.
You were the Utah Redskins for until 1972.
Because how do I not know that?
I went, it's amazing what we don't know, isn't it?
So, for the record, Utah's red burns brighter,
but Nebraska fans know their bug eaters better than the U to know their Redskins.
I just thought that was a weird thing, too, like, what does that mean on the field?
Our redburns and brighter is like, okay, great.
In the heart and in the blood of Nebraska, Fock, is, is, is, is, is that, that red.
And it should be, I, I mean, can we start the campaign of Go Big Scarlet?
Can we start that campaign?
Can we make some Go Pick Scarlet shirts?
can we wear scarlet and cream uniforms
like the basketball team does
I mean if they lean into it I think we can't do
right like I think the chance
would deal they would go well right
you know
and that's the next mascot
they've been they were trying to find out the female
version of of herbie
it's scarlet
yeah yeah it's scarlet
yeah it's garlic yeah
Hey, man, go big scarlet.
All right, we went to one final break.
One more to say with a one-on-one when we come back to Vegas.
