Paint your face.
Paint it!
Get your warrior on.
bump up your muscle.
We need this to happen at a tennis mat.
We need somebody to lead them out.
Somebody to volunteer to lead them out onto the courts as the ultimate Husker warrior.
Face paint and all.
But they have to be able to sprint around the tennis.
and then grab a net, shake it.
Get us all hyped up.
I like it.
To feel
the Pock, how do you spell warrior?
W-A-R-Y-E-R.
Warrior.
It's so good.
We need to find somebody to volunteer to do it.
Maybe have a football player, like volunteer to face paint.
There we go.
Lead the tennis team out of the tunnel.
There we go.
Yeah.
Do you do a tunnel walk for tennis?
We do not do a tunnel walk for tennis.
Why not for Christ's sake?
Well, no one's there an hour before the match, D.P.
But why not?
Why not do that?
Like, if you, we could.
And there like a hype video?
We got to have a, we got to have a scoreboard with the, with the, right now it's just, you get the scoreboard.
You don't get the score.
Boom!
You know, so your scoreboard.
We don't have a video board.
Can we put a TV?
Can we put a TV on the court and then roll it off?
Like, we do the hype.
video like we show the hype video before each match you're gonna need a big ass tv yeah we know people we know
people well yeah maybe an 88 incher or projector projector might work right well no but you just you have it
there and then you put it in the corner and then you show the hype video like they were you can record
the hype video during the week sure and the jeet's player and it's shot making and his victories and
you know dog piles and all those things you know we you know this
This is Husker tennis.
And to fog smoke machine, the host, bang.
Come on, coach, let's do it.
Yay, I'm in.
I will facilitate getting this big screen.
Okay.
As a matter of fact, what I know about our listeners is if we said,
this is what it's for, that some folks will make it happen.
All right.
Because it's the same people who, like when you donate a TV, it's the same people.
Is it?
Same people.
All right.
Shafers.
Shafers.
Chafers.
Call it out.
Chafers.
Ron Romero.
Sir.
Thank you.
Courtesy phone.
Great courtesy phone.
But yeah.
Is it?
Because do you have like a tennis type video?
They are our media or social media, you know, group at the school.
Pusker Vision.
We'll do stuff.
We'll do stuff here and there for us.
Like it should be the announcement for any game day, any match day,
should be the hype video.
Yeah, I mean, yeah, sure.
I'm here for you, Coach.
I'm just, I'm just saying, man.
All right, DP.
This is the thing.
The growth of the program comes in several ways,
development of existing talent,
but getting new talent to the table.
There have been folks who have committed to the program,
kind sir, talk us through the latest commitments in addition to,
to the Husker program.
Yeah, we had, we had, uh, his name is Denise, Rafiq.
He just, uh, officially signed with us, uh, last week, but he's been committed to us
now verbally for, for a little bit.
We were just trying to make these sometimes with the transcripts and he's, he's transferred,
he's transferring from a division two school, Flagler, um, where he's, he's their best
player.
He's one of the top 10 players in, in division two right now.
So, um, but he fits the bill exactly what we're looking for, you know,
physically he's 6-3 you know big player very good hands he's originally up from france i think the
french understand the game the best in the world but he also has a little bit of an edge to him
uh very competitive he's watching all of our matches checking in he's he's sending us messages
after we win after we lose he's 100% bought in so um he's he's about the right things and
you know the tennis piece is always exciting but for me as the as the head coach i kind of get
more excited about adding guys that want to be want to do the team stuff and want to
practice the right way and do things the right way every day because I think that's where that's
the most fun part of the job is coming out and doing that stuff so um anise is going to come in
and do that but he's also going to come in and win a lot of matches for us he'll be he'll have two
seasons left of eligibility we're working on potentially a third but uh you never know in these
days what's uh what's what you're able to do so great addition to the team we've got four guys
officially committed to come in next year.
We're looking to bring in another guy or two for sure.
But yeah, I mean, this team's doing great,
but I really look like, for me,
the future looks bright as we continue to build off of this team
and the success they're having this year.
It's all good news.
We will see you all Friday.
And then Saturday at noon.
Huge weekend.
Sunday at 10 a.m.
Find a way down to the Dillan Tennis Center.
greatly appreciated all.
Ham of Bean says, yeah, Sam's has a hundred-inch TV on sale.
100-inch?
Yeah.
On Sam's?
Yep.
So we're going to get to work.
Is that 93.7?
We're going to get to work, bro.
We will figure that out.
Don't go anywhere.
The big guy shakes the walls.
Adam Caricker up next here on the ticket.
