Starting point is 00:00:00 Back to one-on-one with D.P. Sponsored by the Downtown Lincoln Foundation on 93-7 the ticket. Y'all understand I get distracted very easily. Anytime a corgi goes by the studio window, I'm distracted. That's cute dog. Corgi's rock. They're not, they're not as, as, I don't know what the cutest dog. Doxon.
Starting point is 00:00:31 There's just something funny going on. It's funny. It's a comedic dog. Maybe you're right. They're funny. Yeah, maybe you're right. But I don't know, I don't know that, I don't know that, that what is, pugs? Which kind?
Starting point is 00:00:43 French is. Frenches are, are the great personality profiles. But I don't know what the cutest puppy is. I had, I had an ask, I had Eskimos. What are those mountain dogs called? It was big. I don't know. There's Malmutes or Siberian.
Starting point is 00:01:03 Yeah. Yeah, that's one might know what I'm talking about. St. Bernard. Yeah, maybe that's what I'm thinking of. St. Bernard's are awesome. Like when their puppies, it looks ridiculous. I,
Starting point is 00:01:11 oh, I had a, I had a miniature St. Bernard. Yes. How much does a miniature St. Bernard get? He, I want to say he was like 20 pounds. Okay.
Starting point is 00:01:21 That's about, short legs, short legs, squat legs, look like a corgi with a St. Bernard face. And he looked like,
Starting point is 00:01:29 he looked like a 60-year-old man. He looked like a 60-year-old man. And so here's a funny story. So when we got him as a puppy, and he was, he was adorable. But one of our neighbors came over. And so we had a neighbor across the street,
Starting point is 00:01:46 and his name was Herbert Smith. And he was one of the neighborhood gatekeepers, right? Herbert was probably 60 years all at the time. And one of the little girl goes, your puppy looks like Herbert. So what did we do? name for Herbert. We named him Herbert.
Starting point is 00:02:05 I think that's the only thing you can't do. We named him Herbert. And the funny thing was is that, you know, he was a pretty well-behaved dog and he would stay in the yard and on the porch. But just for grins and giggles, we would let him free just so we could yell, Herbert! And if you're a 10-year-old kid and you can yell the neighbor's name and not get in trouble, you do it.
Starting point is 00:02:29 You absolutely. Herbert! Herbert! Herbert, Herbert, stop it. It's not apollical what you did there. Oh, from Pete Ferguson, we love you, bro. We love you, we love you, love you. He said, thanks as always for investing in Lincoln.
Starting point is 00:02:44 You've got some fans at the BCC, AKA, the Belmont Community Center, a space that promotes individual growth in the presence of community. We can't wait to come back, bro. We appreciate you, Pete, for anything and everything you do. Big Greg Hank said this. He says, I love it. Matt Warner said the same thing two weeks ago. And absolutely true. Absolutely true and correct along the way.
Starting point is 00:03:08 Harrison, one more time. Let him know. They've got two hours to get here. Tell them why. Absolutely. Join us tonight from 6 to 8 p.m. here at the station. We've got 11th and no for a meet and greets with the Nebraska volleyball stars. Annie Jackson, Berg, and Riley. They'll be signing autographs to Max for person and taking pictures for this event,
Starting point is 00:03:27 sponsored by Insight Partners. as his team prepares for Wednesday nights match versus Creighton at PBA.
