so this band played at my bar for every Tuesday night for six years. And then they probably played weekends once every third month. And then they would play some festivals. We would have festivals. at the bar.

We're music festival, all day music festivals on like a Saturday, say Memorial Day or July 4th. And they would get six or seven bands and they would just play all day. It would start at 12 noon. And they'd play all day. And some really good bands,

mind you, some really good artists. Most of them with pretty good epic, long East Coast runs. But of course, the guy that lead on this one is Todd Wright, who is currently, he was just in Denver with Better Than Ezra.

He's filling in with them, so he's been on the tour with Better Than Ezra for the last bit. And then, as a matter of fact, they're playing in Louisville, Kentucky. Of course, it's the same weekend that you are seeing all the other things are. And then it's the weekend of September,

25th through the 30th. So there's like 100 bands. And the bands are what they've done is they've gotten together and created these micro tours. I want to say this is Bourbon and and and Bourbon and Beats or something is the tour in Louisville.

The main event on the one night is Dave Matthews. The co-main event is Hootie and the Blowfitt. which is most people who listen to the station know that that's my second favorite band. The band that I've seen the most ever is Hooty and the Bullfish. So it's Dave Matthews Hooty. And I have history with Dave Matthews from back on the Charlottesville Day.

So he was a bar band. The Dave Matthews band was a bar band in Charlottesville, Virginia. He was a bartender, as a matter of fact. And his band would play these small clubs in Charlottesville, Virginia, back in the day. And then they would play these small festivals in Charlottesville. That's why he's still a good festival band because he's used to putting on those types of shows. He's been that way for a while.

But on the weekend, so I want to say it's Louisville on a Sunday. But Friday night, that same tour, so each three nights in Louisville, there's a different lineup of 25 bands. that band then goes to another city and then another group of 25 bands come in in D.C. in Ocean City on Friday night, the 25th, it's Dave Matthews Hoody

better than Ezra. And I was just like, my friends are like, are you coming in? Are you coming in? But I'd already put in for credential for Michigan State. Doable, but if they had put it as a level of clock kickoff, it doesn't happen. Of course, they don't have that schedule yet. So my entire existence is in flux.

Because if they're playing Ocean City, for Hootie, that's a home match. Because three of the – so Darius record, of course, the lead singer. But the three, Jim Soenfeld, Dean Felber, and Mark, Mark Bryant, they're all from the DMB. They're all from – so them playing Ocean City is literally a home country. concert for them and it's away from home at the same time. So all of their friends are going to go and overconsume. And you're playing with Dave Matthews and better than Ezra.

And Joan Osborne and yeah, it's some people, people. So I'm stuck. I'm stuck because I don't know if I can go, if I can pull off a Friday in, in Ocean City to East. Lansing and oh by the way it's my brother's birthday in D.C. and they're having a party for him and I was like I yikes. Yikes. So yeah, probably not probably not probably.

But this is the life. This is the life I'm going to live. And then I've already, I've got my wrestling travel schedule down. They go to Philly. Yeah. we're going to watch some wrestling this year too. So Vegas, the Vegas tournament, I did that

two years ago. I highly recommend that tournament. Easy access, fun to get in and get out of, matches, you know, two, four sessions. You're literally

right on top of the mats, so it's pretty good and you can move around. There's eight matches at a time. until you get to the finals. So, yeah. And then the delay, the real issue is, because I think it's that first one where they go to Stillwater,
