Starting point is 00:00:00 sponsored by the downtown lincoln foundation on 93 7 the ticket yeah it's an 8 o'clock eight o'clock match tonight man that's the features just on the big 10 network so for those that don't want to deal with the negative temperatures we understand we understand but those that i mean they had sold somewhere around 6500 tickets and there's general mission seats available. So if you want to be a part of it, and this is this is the biggest meat of the season to date.
Starting point is 00:00:43 And unfortunately, the two biggest are back to back. In a couple of days. In a couple of days, no less. But Iowa is the thing, and it matters. At 174, it's number three, Patrick Kennedy,
Starting point is 00:01:00 versus number six, Christopher Minto, Mr. Minto. And oddly enough that these two have never wrestled in college. Kennedy finished fourth last year at 174. Mento finished fourth at 165. Mento has, but he moved up to 174. He has solid victories overranked. Ethan Riddle, Brody Bowman, Jared Semma,
Starting point is 00:01:28 Mantonona, Danny Wask, and Miles Takats. So, yeah, this is, this is a big one for Mr. Minto and his bid to win the Big Ten and to go to go far nationally. At 184, A.J. Ferrar's younger brother, Angelo is the number two ranked 184 in the country. He took his first loss last week against Penn State. And there was talk of injury. So we don't know if we expect him in the lineup. But Gabe Arnold is a brawler. So their replacement, it's next Hawkeye up, and he's a good one.
Starting point is 00:02:12 Against number seven Silas Al Red. Allred will be favored. But Al Red has wrestled well of late, and I think that he would be the favor there. 197 advantage Huskers with number 11 Cam McDaniel. Harvey Ludington. I think they're probably run Bertie Sampson out. Cam would have the advantage. But again, it's wrestling.
Starting point is 00:02:39 It's Big Ten wrestling. And the All-American McDaniel should carry the weight there. And then an absolute brawl at 285. Abencutter comes in rank number 12. AJ Ferrari rank number four currently. And they've never faced each other in college careers. So this will be a matter of points and momentum and otherwise should be a good one. think a single match will determine the outcome of this one.
Starting point is 00:03:09 So if you, if you have it in you, find your way over to Devaney. And then tomorrow for a Husker post game, again, tip off at 11 for men's basketball, post game at one. So I'm sure that Austin Norman is all cued up and ready to break that down for us. So we will have a wrestling.
Starting point is 00:03:35 post-match with Ridge, love it tonight after, say, 10 o'clock is what we would imagine. That takes place where he'll break down everything he saw at Devaney's hitter as well. Bach, kind sir, it's you and the big guy. That's right. You and Adam Carrier for the next hour, and then you and Harrison Arndt. That's right. He's waking up. Harrison Arns.
Starting point is 00:03:58 Early. Wipe your eyes, sleepy head. Wipe your eye, sleepy head. Come on in. and Kerry Bach with you through 3 o'clock and then old school. You folks have a great Friday. Stay warm. Please don't do anything silly out there.
Starting point is 00:04:17 Adam Kerker will shake the walls next here on 937 the ticket.
