What was it? I was pondering something? What was I pondering? You had your pondering face on? I didn't have my pondering face on. I was reading, my wife is at the airport, and then leaving, they're flying out of 1116. So she has a layover in Detroit.

Right. They had to Philly. I want to read this text. So Kevin says this, and he didn't hit me with a what-up. I'm going to read it anyway. Right. He didn't say hi first, but hey, it's okay. Right. It's not fair to judge fan bases by Italian minority's actions on social media. It's unscientific, and you are empowering the big mouse.

You can also say this about any fans, any team's fan base. We're not talking about any team's fan base. We're talking about Nebraska's. And I didn't say that for anything negative about it. I said what this fan base should do in my mind is what they say they will do. be the best fan base in college football or college athletics. Now, if you could tell me that, you know, ignoring the big mouths makes it the best fan base. But it hasn't worked so far.

That doesn't work. So I would say let's all be aware of the big mouth so that they're not highlighted anymore. They can't be the trend setters for this thing. And in this space, especially in this 93-7, the ticket space, it's not going to be the focus. It's certainly not going to be highlighted or exhaled as the right thing to do. So in this space, the better version of the fan base is what we're asking for. And what we're highlighting on a daily basis, especially in this hour. On a daily basis in this hour, we honor and celebrate the good in this community,

the good and the fan base. Like you can be upset. If this upsets you that you feel like, you know, I was picking on the fan base, then you weren't listening. What I said was, for the folks, directly to the folks who were doing, don't do that anymore. For all the people who are loving the fan base

and being supportive of the fan base, thumbs up, high five, go big red. But if you were about that nonsense, miss me with it, this is not the place for it. Love is welcome here. If you don't know anything about me by now, know that that is a constant from it.

That kid needed love on Saturday and didn't get it, at least not in that space. And I do want a high-five coach Hoyberg for his decision because that was a grown man decision to stand up for that young man and tell him, you know what, take some time for you. I'm not going to put you in a bad situation where you are emotionally. Let's get you settled. It'll be okay.

Be in thought with your family, be connected to your teammates and show up. and he did all those things, and I applaud him and them for it. Simplicity. Simplicity. It's easy. Yeah, you know. Being a good person isn't hard. No, it really isn't.

And that's what this is, right? So there's that. I do want to set the tone for the week because we've got quite a week. Rishon Jackson has put together quite the lineup for the captain's show this week. These are, DB week. This is, it's defensive back week. So Mike Booker, Prince Mukumorra. Baron Miles.

Baron Miles. Alfonso Dennard. Yeah. They're going to, they're going to ask him. We're going to get the correct pronunciation. The nighttime shows, the ticket weeknights. And if you're not listening at night, you are missing out. That's all I'm saying is you're missing a interesting conversations. You are missing out.

Tonight, Nicole Griffin from 6 to 8, and she always brings it. Right? So the guest list. The guest, yeah, I did not hear. Oh, she's getting John Cook back on. I don't. I didn't hear. John Cook's on.

I believe he's on with Siple and Jake tomorrow. Well, that was last. I don't know if they have them again. Well, they didn't update it. So it's their phone. They might have them again. Well, I don't know. Yeah, simple.

But there's that. And then because normally on Monday nights, talking to this, the gymnastics show, is usually from 8 to 9. But this week, they have, they have a meet tonight at Devaney Center. And Michaela Curtis and Kenzie Robey. Kenzie was back. She participated even, she competed even with the, with the Achilles issue. She's a tough young lady.

Pretty good performances. Didn't get over the hump, but they've got Illinois tonight. So if you're looking for that, so instead, they will switch schedules with Splashly. A little flip-flop. Yeah, Ashley Skagen, coming off the 15-point win over Purdue, will come in tonight. She'll have a guest, I believe. Her family was in town, so I'm not sure if they still are in town or not. I'm not sure.

Well, they said they need to try to get back, but we'll see. Bring them in how that plays out. Behind them, it's the deep end. And Audrey, Audrey Kathy is an All-American. So she swims a mile. And she, of course, won her event again this week. As All-Americans, too. Yeah, as All-American.

Reagan Hensie had a pretty good performance. I think she was satisfied with it, as much as college athletes ever get satisfied with it. expects better. They're bringing in a guest tonight. And then the national champion defending national champion bowling team, they're coming in tonight. They were down in Texas.

They finished third, had opportunity to win it, finished third. They've got another big competition this weekend in Missouri. But those two young ladies, like Amar Spite and St. and Gwen Maheha is how I want to say. Gwen had a pretty good week. She probably won't be satisfied. But those two may be the funniest people we have on air. They were in the production suite when the earlier show was going on last week.

And I was in tears laughing. Like they are sharp. They are sharp. And then tomorrow up the middle with Cam, Chick, and Bryce Matthewson baseball. Remember, they have some business. They have some business because Bryce, Bryce, man, who we? He was one of those going around the locker room questions. You know.

And it was the whole, if you had a daughter, which teammate would you not want to, your daughter to date? And Bryce looked at Cameron's see as Cameron Chick. Yeah. He broke out the full name. Yeah. Like it was like, okay, his government name, right? Like he was like, so they'll talk about that tomorrow.

I'm sure they'll have guests with them. that, of course, the Talking Tens will recap their meet tonight, tomorrow. And then, look, it keeps building. So we've got, we should have a name this week for the Priscilla Joseph show. She was on fire last week. Again, she's a great storyteller. And she's a coach. Like, people understand that this was a division one.

This woman was a division one coach at age 25. That's impressive. A Division I head coach at age 25. What was I doing at 25? Right. So she knows this space and she knows what it is that's going on. I think it was getting married at 25. Chris Raff and Aaron Davis, again, they have been loaded.

They have been strong each week. We give them two hours. Originally we thought it was an hour, but two hours and it's still not enough time. Their guest base is strong. Then you've got the truth with Kobe Webster and C.J. Wiltsry. got what's the buzz with buzz and car others um and again they're dropping dimes all over the place as well and then we may even add a few new shows this week i'll let you know tomorrow some some some volleyball maybe some softball maybe some track i guess we'll see yeah so at night

you get to actually get to know the husker student athletes and they bring in other student athletes so you get to know more people you get to know the people that that that that that that you root for and that you say you care about so it's good stuff across the board um from the texon what's up dp is mark manning going to be on the show again big duel against friday night eight o'clock at the vanity center yes mark manning will be on this week against the michigan yeah it gets the does anybody know who won between penn state and iowa this weekend pen state of course number one Penn State. Yeah, it was really good. And at Iowa, no less. Yeah. A place was sold out. Yeah. So now the thing is happening now where I watch bowling, I watch gymnastics, I watch wrestling, and then I'm starting, like, not only watching Nebraska's programs, but watching the programs that are competing against to get some point of reference. So I have less time now because now you've got more stuff.

You did this to yourself. I really did. Jeremy says, I'm interested. in the superfan show. I'm guessing the super fans are talking about Husker sports and not a fan's review of the weekday shows. Yeah. Who could? Yeah. Well, they could, but they would only have one appearance.

You can review the weekday shows. Unless you're giving rave reviews, that is just not going to. Go ahead. Tell me how I did. Yeah. I did great. Yeah. Big Slim says this.

What's up, DP? What's up Big Slim? Man, these fools on social media need to remember at the end of the day. These athletes are just people like us. I'd like to see some of them with the magnified glass around them and see how much we can pick apart their lives when we're not perfect. We've got to be better, not just as fans, but as people. Amen to all of that.

Amen, amen, amen, amen to all of that. There's too much in the space. Again, this is just a meeting space for Husker fans and sports fans to meet up and share ideas, but you don't have to do it with such venom and negativity. I just, I, that's just me. That's just me. Like I said, if you're listening to the people that you pay money to root for and you listen for free, you probably should, like,

like we don't charge you by listening to this. So, you know, let's enjoy ourselves a little bit. Maybe we will. At least try, don't force, don't you dare ask me to have a good time.
