Joining you for another hour, as I told you, DP is gone.

North Carolina handling some business, doing some speeches, being a man of the people. Don't they know that they can just listen to this radio show and its speeches for free? I mean, I would think so, but apparently not bringing them out there. All right, all right. Are they paying it? To each their own, I'm sure. They're definitely paying them. Okay, okay I'm gonna get a plate of Marrileon. I'll say what that means is you just get to prolong the fun. But DP kept posting pictures of his Marrilyleons and then Charles was posting video. He posted videos of him just like going over the food and I was like, Charles, what are you doing? Why are you doing this to me?

I smoked my own pulled pork last night. Did you? It was not Mary Ellen's. Let's be clear. It was. Was it good? No. Honestly, I think it's the first time I've smoked something.

and I thought, oh, I don't want to eat this. It was very disappointing. Did you smoke it long enough, or did you do the necessary steps? I don't know the necessary steps for pulled pork. I was trying to get it all done in time for dinner. And as you know, when you smoke something, low and slow is your goal. And I didn't take the slow to heart because we were hungry. So I pulled it a little early and I didn't rest it and wrap it as long as I needed to.

And I paid the price. I paid the price. I'm also, I got this new smoker. I'm still kind of worn in the ins and outs of it. So there's some, there needs to be more attempts is what I'm saying. Yeah. I should have gone to Mary Ellen's. It's okay.

Just ask him for, ask him for tips to smoke your own, but then also go to Maryland. Right, right. The other food that isn't, you pulled pork. I smoked pork loin two weeks ago. We still have, I froze it. Yeah, it was in the freezer, and we warmed it up the other day. Still delicious. Would you just slice it or, like, chunk it up?

We left it as whole when we put it in the freezer. So, and then we, you know, took it out, warmed it up back on the smoker, just warmed it And then sliced it and it was sliced real thin. Delicious. I'm all in on that. It was fantastic. Put some syrup on it.

Syrup? Yeah, syrup on the pork loin. Trust me. Trust me. I'm trying to cut that sugar stuff out. Trust. You're just pouring straight sugar on your pork oil. Trust me.

Syrup on some pork loin. I should have done it when it was cooking, but I didn't. Enough. Are we just talking like straight up hungry, Jack? Like, yeah. Like just some syrup. Regular pancake syrup. Yeah, some pancake syrup right on it.

Not even the good Vermont stuff? I mean, I could use the good. I don't have it. You're just cheap-chepo brand. Yeah, it's syrup. Well, I'm just, I'm on to make sure I do it right, you know? Well, you could, you whatever syrup you want. I don't know.

I don't know how to do it right. I just, I just do it. You're the one there saying, trust me. Trust me. It's good. Do whatever you want. It's liquefied sugar. I know.

It's delicious. No matter what you put it on. Hi, Nick. What's up, guys? molasses and brown sugar that goes into your barbecue sauce. You're just taking out all the other savory ingredients and just going straight to the heart of it. Look, I'm just, you put some brown sugar, you put some syrup. I need to know Charles's opinion on this.

That is like that is. I need to know Charles's opinion on this. Because I put some, I put some honey and some brown sugar on my ribs when I smoke them. Sure. Obviously. Yeah, sure. And it gets caramelized down there. And it's delicious.

But the pork loin is brown sugar and syrup. But are you talking when you smoke it? Or it's usually when I smoke it, but I didn't put it on for the porkloin, so now I just put it on. So now you're just drizzling syrup on your... It's not like I'm dousing it like a pancake in syrup. It's just like a light drizzle of syrup. What's the text line say about this? I need to know.

Well, the problem is diabetes does run into my family, but apparently I don't care. Between this and all the Versaun Kool-Aid, I mean... That's why I haven't drank the Kool-Aid.

I'm trying to make sure that I... Look, I'm talking the literal Kool-Aid here. Yeah. And you definitely drank that Kool-Aid. It's atrocious. Okay, that was delicious, actually. The actual Kool-Aid that Breshaun made was delicious. I don't care what you say.

So it was fine. It's always kind of startling when I submit my test because there's essay questions that the professor actually has to go in grade and everything. And so obviously when it tells you, you're school. it only calculates the multiple choice. Yep. Well, there was a lot of, a lot of essay questions on this one. So I submit it, and it was like 35 out of 100. And I was like, oh, no.

Oh, my gosh, I'm terrible. And then I realized that I got all the multiple choice right. They just have to grade that. Oh, my gosh, I'm an idiot. I was like, this is not good. So, yeah, no, we're fine, though. But anyway, yeah, I'm reading this article about Andrew Luck because. Well, let me ask you a different question before you get an Android.

Go ahead, go ahead. So I asked Jay Foreman the question. I want everybody's responses on the text line as well. Okay, yeah, yeah, yeah. So Chelsea is in the United States for an exhibition. I don't know who they're playing. I don't know why they're playing, but they're here. Some guy has a Team USA and a Chelsea jersey of Christian,

or a Brucey Dortmund jersey of Christian Pulisage. Again, he doesn't play for Dortmund anymore. He went to the practice to get them signed by Christian Pulisich. Okay. First, the people in the comments are asking him why he's taking a Brusia Dormin jersey to a Chelsea practice.

Do you think that is a bad look? to take a jersey of a team that a player on current team formerly played for. Is that a bad look? So it would be like taking a Kevin Durant, Oklahoma City jersey, to a Nets game and having him sign it? Is that a bad look? Is that what I'm gathering?

Yes. I asked J that question. And he's like, no, I'd sign it. I'd take pictures. Yeah, exactly. Who cares? Okay. It's part of your history.

People in the comments were like, why are you doing this? This is dumb. I also didn't think it was a big deal. Yeah, no, I definitely don't think it's a big deal. But because I don't, here's the thing. Sorry, Rico. No, you're good.

I hate when people like burn jerseys and stuff. Oh, it's, I think it's the stupidest thing ever. Like, people talk about burning your money with fireworks, but that is like, they are meant to do that. Like, there's always the video when somebody gets traded or somebody opts out of a contract that there's always this video that surfaces on Twitter from some third party account that has five followers that goes, thanks for the memories, Baker Mayfield. And thinks that he cares about lighting his jersey on fire. Like, we don't need to light jerseys on fire. Yeah. I just think it's the stupidest thing.

If I'm a player and somebody lights my jersey on fire, I'm just like, oh, you cared about me. Thank you. Yeah. And you're showing that you care. And then, like, what do you, first of all, what do you get out of it, number one? Number two, if I lit a jersey on fire, once it's, the fire's finished and the jersey is gone. Gone. I'd be like, dang, I kind of want, I kind of want my jersey.

I just burned a jersey. I just burned a whole jersey. that I just got last year. Like I could be like, dang, remember, you would look at that jersey and be like, dang, remember when this person played here, whether it was good or bad? Yeah, like, or here's the thing. Like, my, my thought always with jerseys is,

oh, I can go ahead and get it signed. Even if they don't play, like, that's, okay, that's where your argument or your comment comes into play. I can always take a Baker-Mayfield Cleveland jersey, and if I see him down the road, get it signed, and I get it framed. Unless he doesn't want to sign it. Unless he doesn't want to sign it,

which is, whatever. That's stupid as well. Well, I mean, bad memories. Okay, not Baker-Mayfield specifically. Well, no, I know, too. Oh, he'd sign that in a heartbeat. Exactly. And that'd be sweet.

If you got, like, if you got the script Chicago... The black one? Or the white one. The red one. The red one with the black script. Okay. That said Chicago across and... Or the red one with just bulls across, just the normal, uh, uniform.

And, and Derek Rose signed it? Like, that'd be sweet because he won his MVP in Chicago. The black one that says bulls on the front. The black one that says bulls is cool. That is the hardest Derek Rose jersey out there. Yeah, I agree. Yeah, those are all cool. But that is not, this isn't even the point of the story that is the reason this guy posted this picture and informed everybody that he was there.

So he had the two Christian Pulisitius jerseys at the Chelsea practice, Bruce Udorman Team USA jerseys. A player from Chelsea who was not Christian Pulisich walked up to this man and signed both of those jerseys. that's not the guy is not that's the problem that is the problem thinking that the guy who brought somebody else's jersey for you to sign it that is that is the issue so if you're the fan in that case in that scenario you can't just like look at the athlete and go no i don't want your signature like you have to let him sign it like he just takes the sharp he just takes the sharp he just like took the sharpie and just signed him and was just like hey how are you and then just like walked away okay so because he has a video of it too the guy like he's super nice apparently i don't

know the player, but in the comments, people are saying he's a great, he's a really good player for Chelsea, and he's a really nice guy. Okay. But he just walked up and signed the jerseys. Jay said the jerseys are ruined, and I was just thinking, like, do you get Christian Pulisich to sign them now also? Yeah. Yeah, because at that point, it becomes, do you just get the whole team to sign them out? I was going to say it becomes a thing of, I just want the whole team, but it's the wrong jersey. It's not the team's jersey. Exactly. So that's a bigger problem. And it's Team USA, and this is a team in the UK. So what's interesting is if you watch like...

Okay, Riku, I know you don't watch tennis, but like at Wimbledon or at the U.S. Open or wherever, wherever there's the big crowds, obviously all the people that want autographs just get in a giant pile, and the athlete will go over there. This happens in a lot of sports, so it's not just tennis. But I'm sure you've seen those big giant tennis balls. Oh, yeah.

Yeah, okay, which are super cool, by the way. They're weird, but there's something different. I would love to have one on display. Anyway, Bingo. So anyway, like you see the athlete go over, they grab like one Sharpie from one person,

and they just, they don't even look. They don't even look. So I guess there's that buffer or argument for the player. He walked right up to him. But if he just walked right up to him, that's a problem. He walked right.

It was the first thing he signed. It was those two jerseys. Yeah, that's right up to him and signed him. Yeah, I was trying to, I'm trying to think of that guy, pal. You're not that guy. I'm trying to think of a comparison. And if you guys have any comparisons for how that would be like,

if you have a certain player's jersey and a different player sign, what is the comparison to this? 402, 4664-5. I said it's like me taking a Patriots Tom Brady jersey down to Tampa and then, like, Garrett Gilbert signed him. It would be, whoever their backup is. It would be, I don't know if they played on the Titans at the same time. It'd be like taking a Derek Henry, Titans jersey,

down to Tennessee and having Dexter McCluster sign it. Yeah, Dexter McCluster. Watch out. Kansas City Chiefs, Kansas City Chiefs Dexter McCluster? That is a name that I forgot about. Yeah, Dexter McCluster. Wait a minute. Everybody talks about Dexter McHester.

That's taking a Rob Grancowski jersey down to Tampa and O.J. Howard. Hey, but I like OJ. Howard. I know you do too. No, but that's the. thing is like, again, the guy for Chelsea apparently isn't a bad player and he's really respected by the fans, but you're not the guy who's jersey it is. All right. Dexter McCluster.

Gosh, this was good. He was fun to watch. Did they not have returning? That's like a Tyree Kill jersey to Kansas City when he was there and Sammy Watkins when he was there, signed it. Or, yeah, taking a Tyree Kill, Kansas City jersey down to Miami and having Mike Gassicki signed it. it. Like, good player.

Not the right player. Not the right player. Not the right guy. Not the right guy. Okay, here we go. Perfect. I'm taking my Adrian Nebraska jersey to Big 12 Media Days to see if he'll sign it. You should get the backup for Kansas State to sign it. Will Howard. Yeah, Will Howard. So here's the thing.

Oh, he definitely signed it. At K State, they had a quarterback last year. He's now with the Miami Dolphins. Skylar Thompson. Fun to watch. really, really fun to watch. Got banged up, though, got drafted late last year. And plus he was from K-State, so that didn't really help his draft stock. Okay, so Dexter McCluster, kickoff and punt returns, Rico.

He had, oh, he only had three touchdowns on punt returns over his seven-year career. Okay. That's good. Two in, okay, so in 2013, he had 58 punt returns with the Chiefs for 680. 86 yards and two touchdowns. Okay, so Dexter McCluster, not bad. Then he got Delta to Tennessee. Sad.

And I think, actually, I think it was in 2014. Where did Dexter McCluster play in college? Here, I can tell you right now. Ole Miss. I had no idea. I didn't either. Do you know what round Dexter McCluster was drafted in? I'm a fourth.

Second. Really? 36 overall to the Chiefs. Look at that. In the 2010 NFL draft. Man, Dexter McCluster, great name. That is also a great name. Because the Kansas City Chiefs announcers.

Dexter's a great name. I like the name Dexter. Dexter. This is where one-on-one is going, and I apologize to all of you if you were tuning in to hear D.P. Talk about actual things and get deep. Well, we're talking about things. Talk about and get deep with his conversations. And you know how deep.

You know how D.P. is, and he'll get to everybody. And there's no way that either one of us could even attempt to replicate D.P. This is what we're going to do. one-on-one is today. We're talking Dexter McCluster. Um, okay, Dexter McCluster, is Dexter a good name? I would say no. Dexter McCluster, great name. Doesn't have to be paired with an, uh, with a good last Absolutely. Absolutely. Like, if it was Dexter Smith? Dexter Sainer? No. You don't like that? No, I do not. Dexter Alvarez Clary. That would be, that would be something. I mean,

it's, it doesn't really flow. No. It doesn't really flow. many syllables. Yeah, I agree. So, I don't know. Thomas and Lincoln says it would be like me getting a Baker jersey and Cam Newton signing it because he walks in. How do Panthers fans feel about Cam Newn? Again, another thing that me and Jay Foreman just talked about, we were talking about rushing back from injuries and somebody brought up Cam Newton, how he rushed back from his injury. Yeah, absolutely.

And was never the same. Granted, he didn't, Jay said he never worked on his footwork really as he got older, which kind of aided to his demise. So, you know, I think Panthers fans still enjoy Cam Newton. They still love Cam Newton. He's going to be in their, regular season. He's going to be in their ring of fame, ring of honor, whatever they call it. But in the totality of his career, it's just that his final, not this last final season, his first final season with Carolina and then, you know, signing with New England.

Like, it was just a weird breakup and it just didn't work out. And I think that might have tarnished his legacy a bit. But I think that Carolina fans would still enjoy, you know, having Cam Newton around. Maybe not as a starting quarterback, but just, you know, he'll be one of the – he's a Panthers legend. Thomas and Lincoln claims that Cam Newton was overrated and he hates him He was an MVP MVP took you to a Super Bowl

I have no feelings here or there. You got a seventh round pick out of him. I have no feelings. That's how bad he is? He was a seventh round pick. He was actually, he was drafted in the first round. I know he was. But not a good pick.

I was excited. That's the problem. New England Patriots should never take a skill position player with a first round pick. There are a couple teams that should never take a skill position player with the first round pick, and the Patriots are one of them. The Patriots, if you're a skill position player and you get drafted by the Patriots in the first round, you're going to suck. I'm sorry. It doesn't matter how good you are. You're going to be bad, and then you're going to get traded for a seventh round pick. And this isn't really a skill position, I suppose, but Mac Jones.

Mac Jones is going to be good, though. Yes, not a skill position. If you're running, when you're running skill position, like when you're practicing and they say skill position players on the line, quarterback's not getting on the line. No, you're right. That's wide receiver, running back, corner, safety, you know, the defensive base. The fast guys. The fast guys.

It's the fast guys. Kim Newton was fast. Quarterback runs with, like, the linebackers and the linemen. Although I think the linebackers might be going with the skill positions now. They're getting faster. They are. They're getting smaller and faster. Although you have the anomaly of a very big lineman who was also still fast.

Are you thinking of a certain person? Not really. Okay. I didn't know if I was. supposed to guess who it was. I can't think a certain person. Dirty Tony and the boys says, Nick, if you would burn one jersey

of a player you don't like or one that did your team dirty, who would it be? For us, Tony says Sam Keller. The boys say Scott Norwood. Scott Norwood. Scott Norwood's the kicker for the bills, right? Yeah. Okay, so Sam Keller's the other one. If I had a burn...

If I had a burn a jersey... Paul Pierce. No. No, that's mine. Oh, that's yours. Yeah. Or just a or just a Red Sox jersey. Doesn't matter who it is. I'm not sure.
