Sponsored by the Downtown Lincoln Foundation, on 93-7 the ticket.
Here on one-on-one-one, on 93-7, the ticket with Nebraska men's tennis player, Henry Billichich.
For a final few minutes here, again, one final reminder.
We're going to talk to a little bit of basketball here because he is a big basketball fan,
But one final reminder to make it out to the Sid and Hazel,
Dennis,
Dylan Tennis Center this weekend,
specifically that 5 o'clock on Friday will be a big one against Penn State.
The winner of that one very likely could go to the Big Ten tournament.
So that will be a one with a lot at stake.
And then Sunday will be the final home matchup against Ohio State,
one of the top teams in the country.
So a big opportunity there for the Huskers,
certainly to finish on a good note.
So again,
Sid and Hazel, Dylan Tennis Center this Friday and Sunday, 5 o'clock and noon, respectively there for Nebraska men tennis.
It's your last opportunity as it is as it is senior weekend here to go and check that out.
But Henry, you did.
You are a big basketball fan.
You've been to many different games.
You're just telling me you were at the game where Tatum got hurt against the Knicks the last year in the playoffs.
Here he is healthy enough.
Looks like he's getting going there.
but how are you feeling about your Knicks now entering the NBA playoffs this season?
They were very close, obviously, to make into the finals last year.
Yeah, I mean, it's exciting.
Like we were talking about off air.
I mean, I grew up a Knicks fan and we were so bad for a long time.
And there were seasons when they were winning like 18 games or something and the playoffs weren't even a dream.
So it's exciting.
I mean, for sure, it's a, you know, it's the best time as the NBA fan.
Everybody knows that.
The playoffs is a different type of intensity.
And it's always fun.
And, but yeah, I'm excited.
They have a tough first round.
The Hawks are good and a little bit of history there.
I mean, they beat us back in a couple years ago with Trey Young, of course.
Oh, yeah.
I'm still very hated in New York.
But, yeah, I mean, it's exciting.
And it's cool to see Tatum back.
Like I was saying, I was at the game where he got hurt.
And, you know, it's exciting for you too, having them back.
Oh, yeah.
Look pretty good.
So potentially a second round matchup there.
Yeah, yeah, that should be fun.
Boston, New York always a lot, a lot of history and a lot of heat there.
That rivalry.
Do you feel like the Knicks are better position this year or where you think they're a little bit better last year?
I think we're better positioned just because, you know, we added some depth on the bench.
Like we grabbed Jordan Clarkson.
That's, that's been good.
And, you know, we've developed some young guys like Tyler Colick, like lefty point guard.
He's, you know, he's here and there's plates of minutes.
Like he helped us a lot in the final of the NBA Cup.
So he's played in some big games and on Christmas Day, too.
And yeah, I'm feeling pretty good about the squad, honestly.
this year more than last year just because of the depth that we have and um you know we're like
another guy off the bench is landry shamit he's you know he's hit some big shots and um so yeah it's
it's exciting and you know we're healthy and uh but yeah i mean it's it's the best time of the year but
i'm definitely feeling better just because of the the depth of the team and obviously you know
they're off a fresh off an eastern conference finals last year and pretty you know as a heartbreaker to the to the
pacers but ultimately you know i think it's going to help the team and yeah i mean like i was saying it's it's it's a very
time as an NBA fan, but I'm feeling good. And we just need my, my boy, Kat, to show up night
and night out and we'll be okay. But playing better. So, yeah, yeah. Like you said, at least
you don't have to worry about the paces this year. I'm always worried about the heat sneaking
in there. They're in the, you know, one of those teams spolster. BetMGM is an official sports

In the playoffs, I don't care what team he has.
I'm a little bit worried about them.
So they got their play in game.
We'll see.
Do you have a finals prediction or, you know, maybe ask you to take your bias out of it?
Maybe you can maybe still could predict the Knicks.
But what do you think is going to happen here in the playoffs?
Yeah, I mean, it's a good question.
I think it's exciting.
Obviously, with the East being healthy now and we have to see what happens with NBED.
And obviously, he just had surgery and stuff.
But like with Tatum being back, I think it's exciting.
But on the West, I don't think.
the thunder come out of the west. I think the spurs are going to come out of the west.
Just because I love Wemby and I think they're, I think they're ready and they, I think they had maybe
62 or 63 wins on the year. So I think it's going to be spurs. And then I don't know if I can take
my bias out of it. So I'll go spurs next. I'm the same way. I'm going to pick the Celtics. I can't
help it. But what do you think about the pistons? I mean, they're obviously sometimes, you know,
regular season does, it doesn't always equate to the playoffs, but quite a regular season for them.
I mean, they've been unbelievable. I'm honestly a big fan of them. I really like Cade. I think he's
unbelievable. And, you know, obviously the turnaround they've had. I mean, last year they played the
Knicks in the first round. It was a really physical series, long series. I mean, the Knicks won
and six, but could have easily gone seven. I mean, obviously Brunton hit the game winner,
but it was looking rough there. The Knicks were down by like six with like a minute
and a half left or something. So really, you know, rough series last year with them and physical
series. But yeah, I mean, I do think that they'll be in the Eastern Conference finals waiting for
I mean, hopefully one of the NICs for the Celtics for both of us.
But I would say, yeah, I would say that they're going to be definitely the team to beat in the East, even with Tatum back.
And I think, like I said, I think they'll be waiting for one of the Knicks and Celtics in the Eastern Conference Finals.
But I do think they, if they don't come out of the East, like bias aside, I'll be surprised just because of how physical they are.
But they're still young.
So, but definitely, they've been fun to watch.
I mean, they also, you know, they beat the Knicks pretty bad in every game they play.
played this year. So hopefully the regular season doesn't matter as much. But, uh, but, yeah, no,
it's exciting time for. Yeah, we'll see. Spurs next is the is the official prediction. Then before you
get out of here, I also got to ask you, how was the, how was the ride? I know you, we came a
Nebraska basketball fan since you've been here. This was certainly the most exciting season all
the way to the Sweet 16. How did you enjoy watching it? And, and of course, hopefully you're
a fan moving forward because they've got, they're putting team back together. No, I mean, for sure,
it's unbelievable run. I mean, as a Nebraska fan, obviously is an athlete and being, you know,
around those guys. I mean, it was so fun to see them on that type of run. And, you know,
the program's been building for years. And even last year, they had a little rough end of the
year. But I could kind of see, like, you know, they won the tournament after the, I forget
what was the crown tournament. Yeah. So I would say that that helped them a lot, you know,
momentum going into the season. But for sure, it was a, it was a blast, honestly, watching. And I'm
definitely Nebraska basketball fan and amazing run. And, you know, obviously just a really special
season and hoping to kind of build off it. But yeah, it was, it was so great Washington
than March Madness, you know. So it was good. Yeah, yeah. I think everybody would agree with
you on that. It was quite the ride for Nebraska basketball fans. Again, that are wrapping up for
one-on-one here on 937. The ticket, thanks again for Henry Billichich for jumping in
studio with us. Once again, your offer, last opportunity to watch Nebraska men's tennis and last
opportunity in Henry here down at the Sid and Hazel, Dillon Tennis Center will be this weekend,
Friday against Penn State.
The winner of that very well could go to the Big Ten tournament
and then Sunday at noon against Ohio State,
one of the top teams in the Big Ten.
That'll wrap it up for this show.
Coming up next, Adam Kerker on 93-7 tickets.
