Hey, what's up y'all? Kelly Clarkson with Wayfair. My favorite thing about the holidays?
Decking out my whole house. It's not a competition, but if it was, well, I'd win the season with Wayfair.
Outdoor inflatable Santa? Got it on Wayfair. Trees, lights and ornaments? Wayfair. Hosting must-havs, like dining sets, beds, sheets, and towels. Wayfair.
For everything in your style delivered with fast and free shipping, visit Wayfair.com or the Wayfair app to win the season. But again, it's not a competition.
We are back here on one-on-one on 93-7, the ticket,
getting you ready for Adam Kierker here later on in just about 10 minutes or so.
But I did have a few things to say before we get out of here.
Of course, it is a big day in Hustlerland, Nebraska volleyball this weekend to punch their ticket to the final four first.
They'll have to take care of Kansas.
And because it's volleyball, we don't know what time that's going to be.
But Texas A day and Louisville will be playing at 6 o'clock this evening.
at the Bob Finney Sports Center from John Cook Arena.
So 30 minutes after that game, we will have Nebraska in Kansas.
And then after that, after that, many,
shoot in for many months on the postgame show here on 937, the ticket.
Kansas is, it has the Iowa stat going on here.
There is 0 and 88 against Nebraska all time.
So that's going to be kind of difficult to see if they can get that done,
which is good for our hometown Huskers.
both broadcast by the way on ESPN2
and of course the winners
will face each other on Sunday
for the right to go to the final four
also wanted to throw out there
I know this kind of came out yesterday
but I didn't get a chance to talk about it too much
is that the Husky Athletic Fund released
renderings and additional details
ahead of expanding John Cook Arena
in the Bob Devaney Sports Center
the new plan has upgrades to
most of the volleyball arena
kind of taking a lot out
Every seat will be replaced.
Quartside seats will be added along with VIP in club space, which will be exciting.
The new capacity will be $10,000, which is good.
Or 10,000 people, excuse me, which is good.
I'm thinking dollars because it's hard to get in, hard to get a ticket.
So maybe the tickets will go down a little bit.
Who knows?
But yeah, so looks pretty exciting.
Every seat, by the way, we'll have drink holders, the most important thing.
Hey, there are seatbacks?
Are there seatbacks?
I don't know.
I didn't see if there's any seat back.
Ah, man.
I think there are currently, aren't there?
Is it for every?
Not for every.
We'll see it.
I don't believe.
I don't know.
There should be.
But how cool for that program mean?
Hey, what's up, y'all?

it's not a competition. Wayfair, every style, every home. 10K, and they're still going to sell out.
Like, it's not even going to be a question. The waiting list for tickets is just absurdly long.
They mean that, what, 85-ish hundred that's at right now has been impressive, but they're not
really like expanding, expanding, right? It's still going to feel intimate, still going to feel on top of
you. The PBA environment, I've been told, it's great for that first serve showcase.
I think PBS set up pretty well to, you know, funnel the noise down and make it loud.
But there's nothing like that, like, homie, smaller, tough to get into venue in college sports, right?
It's why I think, you know, like Cameron Indoor is so great.
One of the best sporting environments I've ever been in was when Nebraska went down to Kansas.
I mean, Alan Fieldhouse doesn't look like anything from the outside, but you get inside.
you just feel it immediately.
I think, I mean, that's got to be
the Bob Bavany Sports Center for Nebraska volleyball.
That's the type of like rarefied air
we're talking about when it comes to that arena right now.
Did you, as a Nebraska basketball fan,
did you, because that's how I kind of explained.
I mean, when D.P. Canada came in and asking about it,
like when Nebraska played over there,
it is. It's the college arena.
It's got that college feel as opposed to PBA,
which is more of kind of a professional feel.
Do you prefer, did you prefer the Devani or PBA?
as far as Nebraska hoops goes.
It's just so different because I am blessed
to watch a lot of games in PBA.
I will give Nebraska fans credit
that environment against Wisconsin
was off the chart.
Probably the best one I've been in
from start to finish.
It's just so different
because you don't get your first time
entering like hallowed ground like that
more than once, right?
PBA is a great environment.
PBA's not hallowed college basketball.
Right.
Ground, right?
I've never been to campus.
camera never been to the dean dome hope i never am but even stuff like you know the kennel up for
for guinzaga the pit for new mexico getting a chance to go across the country and some of the
even rep arena right that's pretty big but has a pretty darn good reputation as well um if i get the chance
to go out to polly pavilion just to say you know i said that put on the same court that john wooden did
um but even like bramledge coliseum for kansas state the octagon of doom yes that was an incredible
environment as well. So there are ways to make every environment special. I think Nebraska is doing
better. Obviously, team success helps. But man, there was just something about being there at Fog Allen.
Nebraska lost the game. It was never close. Especially with the Kansas fan buddy. But you have to recognize
what you're walking into. It's legit. Yeah. Yeah. I mean, like you said, more than anything,
I think history in the building history of the team is going to do more than anything. But I do sometimes
dismissed the college field of Bob Devaney, but
absolutely love Pinnacle Bank Arena, so it's
hard to go wrong there. All right, let's go ahead
and wrap up the show here. Adam's character in the
building, ready to go. Coming to next year,
on 93.
