Looking at the bracket for the women's Big Ten, tomorrow at one, number 12 Penn State and number 13 Rutgers. then tomorrow at 3.30, number 14, Illinois, number 11, Wisconsin. Now, locked in for Thursday at 10.30 a.m., number 8, Michigan State, and number 9, Purdue.

And then at 5.30, excuse me, number 10, Minnesota, and number 6.7. and number seven, Northwestern. Nebraska, of course, will play at eight. Uh-huh. Against the winner. Yeah, that's good. That's eight o'clock. And then Indiana will play it one o'clock.

Nebraska will play the winner of Illinois and Wisconsin, which is a matchup that they would feel pretty good about. Okay. I don't mind that one. The winner is a little scary. Rutgers at 13. If they win, the winner of that game gets Indiana. Get to Indiana.

Who's Rutgers playing again? Rutgers was playing Penn State. And then Purdue and Michigan State play. If Rutgers wins that and goes on to face Indiana, that's one to watch. Yeah, just from a scrappy kind of, you know, whoever wins that will then face Maryland. Oh, high-powered offense, Maryland. High-level, scrappy defense records. Scrappy defenders.

Sign me up for that. Right. A little surprise. Why? Is it because of the men that the women are playing at 1030 and 1? 1 and 3? Probably. Right.

Because they want to get the men on BTN, but they also want to get the women on BTN. So 1 in 3.30. Right? 1 in 3.30. So there will be men's games. during those. And then can you pull up the men's schedule? Because I want to cross.

The men's Big Ten tournament schedule? No, just the schedule this week. Oh, okay. Because they play tonight and then I can't recall. Then they play Wisconsin two days after that. What time is, so tonight is. I got you. Yeah, I was looking at.

Tonight is at six. So at eight o'clock. So at 9 o'clock tonight, the postgame show will go. So we're going to do Lincoln Stars outside the box from 8 to 9 and then 9 to 10. There will be that postgame show for men's basketball based on what we're going to do. And then March 6th, I was wrong, five days later on Sunday. They play Wisconsin at 1. Sunday they play their final regular season game at 1.

And so the rest of the week, the focus will be on the women at 9. Because there doesn't seem to be a whole line of those. And then the men, the Huskers will probably play March 9th. March 9th in Indianapolis as well. So do we know who they would match up with? Give me your. How does the seat? Okay, so how's the women's seating?

Who's the last place team there? So the last place team and the women's is Illinois. And they are playing number 11. So whoever the 11th seed, which might be Penn State. Nope. Who he is? Northwestern? Maryland.

Okay, but I wouldn't feel awful about that, although Maryland's gotten going a little bit. Yeah, if Maryland, so it's a close race right now, kind of for that spot. You have Penn State at 7 and 11, Maryland at 6 and 12, Northwestern at 6 and 13. Those are all conference records. Who do the Huskers want Penn State, right? Probably. So if you can get Penn State to 11. You would need them to lose and Maryland to win.

And then it's Northwestern kind of just has to stay where they're at. Who's at 10? Penn State. So Penn State is currently at 10. So they need to be. So Penn State needs to lose. Yes. And Maryland needs to win.

Okay. So let's go. And Penn State, let's see. Penn State has. Let's go! Okay. Penn State has two games remaining at Illinois. Yes?

At Rutgers. Yes! Give me! Let's go! Maryland. All right, here we go. All right. Maryland has two games remaining.

Home against Minnesota. Win. And at Michigan State. So, Maryland end up at 10 and Penn State at 11. If Penn State loses their next two, which is totally possible, and Maryland at least wins against Minnesota. I don't know what their head-to-head record is. Let me check that real quick. But there's a possibility there.

Maryland right now, okay, so so far they have one win over Penn State. So they're 1 and 0 against them, and that's the only time they played that. Okay. So they're 1 and 0 over Penn State, so it's good. It looks good. So they've got the, if they tie, Maryland gets the 10 seed. And then who's the 6 seat? The 6 seed in this fantastic conference we call the Big 10.

Because that's who the winner would fare. Michigan State for now. Again, really tight. They're half a game behind Iowa, half a game up on Rutgers. They're half a game up on Rutgers? And half a game behind Maryland. So if they lose and Iowa gets to, I mean, Rutgers gets to seven, you're in business. It's a, look, it's still a crapshoot for all of the seating, really, in the top four.

Because Wisconsin's 14 and 4, Purdue's 13 and 5, Illinois's 13 and 5. Illinois's 13 and 5. Ohio State's 11 and 6. Well, they're kind of out of it for the top top seed. But you have three teams vying for the top three seeds right now. So Ohio State's what, eight? Ohio State's four right now. 11 and 6th.

They're two and a half games out of first place. So if Nebraska beats them the night, they could help to knock them down to the 8 seat. To possibly. Well, yeah, to possibly not having two buys. Right, knock them down to a six seat. So beat them a night and they'll be able to face it. A little bubble buster? Yeah.

Let's have some fun with it. You know, we can put that. And then they have Wisconsin who's 14 and 4. If they beat Wisconsin, they could knock them out of the top seat. Do you track the Big Ten Women's Conference enough to pick a best five players? Like the, oh, best five players? I don't track it enough. No.

Right? So Caitlin Clark. Yeah. Nas Hillman. Grace from Indiana, although the big would have been the pick, but she's not. No. I would put Jasheli in the five. You could throw her in that.

I would put Jash. She will probably end up in the second five. A high level defender. And honestly, if you wanted, you could have her. She's top five in every major category. If you want, you could have her handle the ball and just use Caitlin Clark off the ball, which would be crazy. No, Caitlin Clark would never allow to have that. Well, no, she wouldn't.

She would never. That would be wide. Like she would go over, try to grab the ball, flop. On her own team. And I get two free throws. Like, I think that's fair to say who that is. I like the big for my... Paring that, Nass Helman with Caitlin Clark doesn't sound fair, though.

Yeah, because there's no break. Because Caitlin's going to be, you know, barrage from deep. And when you go to double-teamer, oh, by the way, she's a pretty good passer. Nas is open down low and she's going to put the moves on you and score a pretty easy bucket. You double team her. She kicks it out. Caitlin Clark drills a three. There's no winning if those two are on the team.

Give me anybody from Maryland. Pretty much. Like they've got four players that if any of them end up on it, you're like, I'm good with that. I'm fine with that. I'm good. I'm good with that. Oh, let's get it.

So I don't know if you guys saw the graphic on ESPN about Caitlin Clark. She has scored at least 15 points and had five assists in her last 18 games. And she's the only. Division 1 player to do that, both on the men's and women's side, other than John Morant and Trey Young. Yeah. She's unbelievable. The numbers.

So that's okay. I mean, I guess. Well, I mean, but think about this, that you're going to have any team that would have Caitlin Clark and Nassimman on the same team. Yeah. And then you know what? Let's throw in Alexis Markowski because I said so. Right.

Well, you know, it should be a freshman year. Yeah. And we say all of that, and it sounds really good until you. like do that in the SEC and then you just take point I was going to say do we know where like the national freshman of the year races I don't think she falls into that she'll be in it like if you win if you win the the big 10 yeah you're in the conversation that's what I'm saying I nobody's talked about that necessarily but I honestly don't know where else other people are well the Nebraska fans aren't allowed to forward think bingo no so that's that's a smart decision you know don't

Don't do that to yourself to get your hopes up for a national award. Yeah. And then they just go, yeah, she won twice as many as the person who won it. But the person who won it won it in the SEC. Yeah, it had to go up against South Carolina. Or they're from the South Carolina. True. Yeah, true.

South Carolina, Tennessee. LSU. Yeah, like it's. So there's a freshman from DePaul who is 11th in the country in scoring at 21.5. I'm just trying to But is DePaul going up against his Nana from Iowa? No, but you know

So I'm just saying I'm just looking for From the Texan. She also leads the country in rebounding at 14 again. Oh, okay. Yeah, but you can do the argument. Who is she playing against? Yeah. I don't know.

It says women projected is projected to Waco, as a seven seed versus No. 10, Arkansas, according to Bracketology, updated today. Interesting. Which is a step down. From Tucson, right? A six in Tucson to a seven in the wake. Yeah.

I don't know how they moonwalked them back into a seven. That's right. I guess, you know, adversity, I guess. No, that's a crock. Like, what are you doing? Absolutely. Garbage. You won, and you were dominant in doing so. And then you got backed down.

to a seventh seed. Let's see this. From the Texan, I'm living up to my name. There's no way Nebraska shoots it like they did on Sunday. And Penn State will not defend any of the same way. Penn State is praying for another cracket in you. I'm fine with all of that.

Just for curiosity and interesting sake, I'd like to see some of this play out. Are we talking about men's there? Yeah, I want chaos. Who is the 11th seat in the Big Ten right now for men's basketball? That's what we just said. We went through that. The 11 seed is Maryland.

Right. But if they win, if they win, Penn State drops out in 11th. Oh. Yeah. There's still. That's how we, that's why he was speaking to Penn State. There's a lot of. We had said if we can get Maryland above Penn State and Penn State in a matchup in the first round against Nebraska,

we're all slightly more curious. Very much so. Right. Slightly more curious. There's like zero seating figured out aside from Nebraska being the. Well, honestly, if Nebraska wins their last two and Minnesota loses their last two, Nebraska moves up a seed. I saw something. So there are zero seeds figured out right now in the Big Ten. There was a list point put out today about the most intriguing basketball games of Tuesday night.

And Nebraska, Ohio State was on there. I was like, what? It was also Tuesday night. Tuesday night's not a bad night for college basketball some nights. There's some big time, big 12 games. There's some tonight because they're just trying to get out of the way of the women's tournament. Like get out of your own way. Yeah, so like the top seat, I mean, it's two and a half, like Ohio State's the four seed right now, but they're two and a half out of first, so I don't think they can get that.

But Purdue and Illinois are a game out of first, Wisconsin's first. Iowa's three, Michigan State, three and a half, Rutgers, four, Michigan, who's had a bad season, there's only four and a half games. I know they only have two games left, but only four and a half games at a first place. What I think should happen is Nebraska should just play spoiler from here on out, knock Ohio State out of any chance to be in the number one seat, and then go to Wisconsin, who is currently number one. one and beat them so that Purdue or Illinois gets number one seat. They can completely ruin the seating. Absolutely. Ohio State only have one by and Wisconsin fall out of the top seat. Let's have some fun.

Like aren't we allowed? And also move up to move up a seed because Minnesota has Maryland and Northwestern to end the season both on the road. Let's let's all ponder for a moment. Okay. So just clear your head. Okay. And then ponder an existence where Nebraska basketball. ball is fighting for a one seat at this point in the tournament.

What would that feel like? I'm about to cut your mic off. I'd be pretty giddy. Right, we're allowed to just pound it for a second. Are we allowed to do that? No, I mean, to dream. Are we allowed to dream big dreams? Well, that's how we're going to hold people accountable for it.

It was like, wait a minute, we know how we're going to feel if we could ever be in a... Just imagine now Nebraska's game against Ohio State was meaningful and that it was for a possibility to be like a top seat in the big tournament in the big tournament or in the big tournament or well if you're if you're if you're playing for number one in the big 10 you're gonna oh right what would that feel like sir what would that feel was it you are what would that feel like

who right like we would all oh I almost said something mean what would that be like what would that feel like. I don't know. Right? I don't know. Do we, will that ever happen? Men's or women's? Women's has happened.

They've gotten a one seat in the big tournament before. Years ago. But the men has not. I just want to be that space, mental space for a minute. Yeah. That, that, I can see them fighting for a two seed, but never a one seed. Close, but no cigar. Like the Big Ten Conference has an actual rule that we don't speak to that says Nebraska can never compete for number one.

Nebraska finishes with one loss in the Big Ten, in the Big Ten conference, wins the Big Ten tournament and is a two-seed. Damn you baseball. You screwed it up for everybody. You ruined it for everybody. Can't have this. You've allowed them to dream. You've allowed them to dream. All right. Big Ten champions, go to Arkansas. Go to Arkansas. Go to Arkansas. We'll fix you. Have fun in Duke. We'll beat that out of you. Like, we'll beat that out of here. You're a two seed and you get, you know, 15 seed Duke. Yeah, wait.

How's Duke a 15 seed? They're undefeated. Syracuse, barely got in. Because we wanted it to be that way. UCLA is undefeated and you're telling me we have to go to UCLA. Yep, yep, yep. How does that work? You wanted the higher seat.

We just had to send you out west to do it. You'll have to. The farthest possible place from Lincoln, Nebraska. Oh, yeah, absolutely. You're going to send you. You're going to see you. No, no, we're going to see. you to Miami to face Leonard Hamilton.
