Yeah, it's as we get, as we get smarter about what happens in the programs and what they need in the programs and what the philosophies are, then I think it allows Husker fans, the Husker community, the Husker boosters, to be purposeful in how they help programs like Huskers and Women's Tennis.
There are ways, and that to say that you could add to a.
the top players and it really wouldn't be that costly people don't know the numbers so they can't
in their mind say well geez if i knew that was the number yeah so i think these communications
are these conversations are important absolutely um because i'm getting smarter just by been here
well it it's in the process right and i try to bach and i have these conversations all
time about well doesn't does this make sense and i asked the question and i asked the
all the time. Why is this the way it is and why does it move in a different way? I'm smarter
today because now I know that there are ways for Husker fans who love Husker athletics to actually
participate in the process and feel like they have they have skin in the game and they have
the ability to impact and it doesn't take, it's not going to break their bank. Like it's not going
to ruin their bank account, uh, to do it. So it, we, we have, we have some new information.
Uh, we, this is, and Bach can tell you when I, when, when I, when I, when I, when, when I, when I get a cent,
I'm pretty good about following the cent to making the thing work. So, uh, coach is special.
You have a fantastic roster. We met two of the young ladies the other night, uh, through Mike Smith
and Mike Smith live, um, in the weekly disruption. Um, you have, you even have some future media,
of people on the roster.
Let's talk about this roster of yours.
Yeah, I think it's a great group.
You know, a great group.
I think they're very selfless, you know, they care about each other.
They're one kind of, you know, we talk about a lot about being there for each other
and kind of lifting each other up, you know, the type of deal.
And I think this group is very good at doing that, you know.
Yeah, we have players from all over, you know, around the world, around the U.S., you know,
And I think the, but we work hard, you know, as the staff that are trying to bring people together in this group that think similar, that has similar goals that are, that has similar values, you know.
And I think once you put them all together, it's just, it's just easier for them to kind of, you know, get along and kind of ride, ride the ride together.
You know, they don't have to pull in different directions because they, they don't have too many values that are, that don't align, you know.
So I think that was important for us as coaches, you know, trying to find that, you know,
between a balance between like the talent that will help us, but also the personalities and values
that will help us keep the team together, you know.
Well, they seem to like each other.
They do.
And that doesn't always happen.
No, no, it doesn't always happen.
And, you know, and girls, you know, especially a small group, you know, it doesn't.
But, you know, and we're not going to sit here and say that it's always going to be perfect, you know,
But I think the more we bring people together that are, you know, selfless, that want to be a part of the team, that want to push each other, that want to work hard, that I want to be good, but I also want to be, you know, a team, you know, and I think it's, it makes it easier.
You know, it makes it easy, those, like, tough workouts or tough practices or long nights or flights or trips or tough losses, right?
Yeah.
It will make it easier because knowing that, you know, we're there for each other and, you know, we're going to give it our role.
and you know and then go back and be a team again coach we're going to do it again next week i'm back
monday so if you can do monday just text me we will we will we'll we'll get you back on the regular
schedule and we'll there's so much to talk about about this roster about the process uh and about
your season um absolutely and thank you for being informative and teaching us and coaching us
about what's going on in the program you know thank you for having me and for you know um
a split of women tennis you know on the map more there so
I appreciate you support and, you know, and always having me as an honor.
Yeah, we're going to get Bach out there to take some swings.
That's next on the list.
Don't go anywhere out of character.
Up next, that'll take you until 1 o'clock.
Then Bach in the black shirt, the Hall of Famer will be in the building.
And then old school on an afternoon.
It's going to be a full day here at the ticket.
